- If you're receiving this transmission, you are the resistance. you are the resistance.
Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And welcome everybody to The Dan Badani Show on TruthRadioShow.com We are in the book of Luke.
We're doing chapter 8 today.
So if you missed chapters 1 through 7, it's in our playlist.
Also the entire books of Matthew and Mark as well.
So we're doing an in-depth comprehensive study on the book of Luke and again chapter 8.
So before we begin guys, we encourage people to do every time we do this, Very important.
A biblical study approach.
Number one is to pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
So we pray to you, Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah, our Lord and Savior.
Thank you so much for everything you've done for us.
And we ask you to forgive us, all of us here, listening and watching.
That you forgive us all for our individual sins and transgressions that we've committed, and we pray that you can make us pure before the Father.
Father, we come before your throne to ask you to give us the Holy Spirit to help disseminate, to help understand, and to learn Your word of God here in the book of Luke chapter 8 today, that the Holy Spirit could teach us better than no other.
And we ask you in your mighty name and also to protect everybody here that's going through sickness, pain, or any suffering of any kind, or any spiritual attacks.
We ask you to bind us all with the blood of Jesus Christ.
To keep evil away.
And we ask you in your mighty name, Amen.
So, with that being done, let's go to the second part.
What we do is, we don't just read through the Bible.
If you just want somebody to read through the Bible, which takes a couple minutes each chapter, you're at the wrong place.
We don't do that here.
We read description context.
Because context is key.
And we relentlessly point this out.
That context is key.
And how religions specifically take single verses, put them together, and string them together to fit their religious dogma or agenda.
We don't do religious stuff yet.
We do biblical stuff yet.
So we need to read the context.
Context is key.
Plain and simple.
So you read a verse, make sure you understand the verse in its context before we're saying it.
And if the person doesn't understand what the verse is, because if you give that one verse to ten different people, you're going to have ten different interpretations.
When you read the verse in its context, that could be the paragraph or the chapter.
Could be two chapters.
Read it in its context, and all ten people will have the same understanding, and a twelve-year-old can figure that out.
Because you don't need to interpret the Bible, because it's clear as day when you read it in context.
That's why this is important.
And this is why it's important to know this, because you don't be deceived by false religions, which every religion out there is.
And where I follow Jesus Christ, I don't follow no religion, plain and simple.
So, let the Scripture interpret the Scripture.
And when you seem not to understand something, Ask the Holy Spirit for it and just keep reading.
The scripture will give you that answer.
And it's amazing how it works.
So let's just get on with this, guys.
And if you don't got a Bible, this is on a video series.
We understand that people don't have Bibles.
Well, we got it on the screen here.
But if you're listening on audio edition on ShakenWakeRadio.com and the other networks that carry this on audio, we encourage you to open your Bible for yourself because we want you to read it for yourself.
So, open the Bible, and we always recommend King James, or anything older than that, like the Geneva and so on.
So, anyway, let's go to chapter 8, and we got an awesome chapter here.
Big, big chapter here, with a lot of context.
So, chapter 8, it says, "...and it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout the city and the village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God." The 12 were with him.
The 12 referring to the apostles, right?
And Jesus.
Showing the glad titans of the kingdom of God the wonderful things that God's given us.
God in the flesh walking on the earth at this time, healing people, feeding people, doing miracles.
Casting out demons and everything else as we learn through chapters 1-7.
And a certain woman, which had been healed of evil spirits, in infirmities, Mary called Magdalene.
Out of whom the seven devils.
So we understand Mary Magdalene became a good friend of Jesus after this.
After she was accused of committing adultery, Jesus stopped her from being stoned.
And we're going to get to that.
We got to that with Matthew and Mark as well.
So, and Jonah, the wife of Chusa, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
So understand, guys, every time the Bible mentions somebody's name, there's a reason for that.
And when much people were gathered together and were come out of the city, he spoke by Now again, if you just join us guys, what a parable is, okay?
Jesus, this like uses layman's terms today.
In other words, like um, if you give somebody instructions, they don't understand it, you use a layman's term.
Another way to explain it to them, right?
So what Jesus did, he not only gave direct instructions to do something, He used one to two to three parables after that.
So you could not possibly misunderstand.
So people say, well, the Bible is difficult to read.
Well, it's very difficult to read if you read just one single verse or a couple of verses.
We have another one here where Jesus gives an instruction, right?
Don't just read the instruction.
Read the parable.
And you don't need to interpret it.
You don't need a priest or anything to interpret it because it's clear as day.
Simple.
Let the scripture interpret the scripture.
There's no room for interpretation.
It's Clara's Day.
Like I said, a 12-year-old would understand it.
So, he spoke in the parable.
So a sower went out to sow his seed.
And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside and trottled down in the falls of the Devourer.
He's talking about a farmer, right?
Now there's a spiritual significance with this.
farmer laying down the seeds for harvest, right?
They plant the seeds to grow, right?
So anyway, he's going around, you know, because when you, what you do is you till the land, you make a bunch of holes.
Then you go around, you know, people or whatever they use today.
Back then, people used to go around dropping the seeds into each hole.
And some, you know, like this says, some fell by the wayside, you know, away from the hole.
Some trottled down, and some followed, you know, in the fowls that would eat it, you know, because birds like seeds, whatever.
And some fell upon a rock, and as soon as it sprung up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.
And some fell among thorns, and thorns sprang up and it choked them.
So you understand, anybody that grows anything, thorns are a threat to any kind of plant.
Because they take all the moisture, the nutrients from the soil, and it kind of chokes the plant from even growing.
Or prospering, because it takes, it robs the vitamins away.
So in other words, if you're eating food, right, and you got some parasite in you sucking up those vitamins, you eating food is going to do nothing for you.
That's what a thorn is, it's like literally almost a parasite to a plant.
So, and others fell on the ground and sprang up and bear fruit on a hundredfold.
And when he had said these things, he cried and said, Has ears to hear, let him hear.
He says, Anybody who has an ear, hear this.
And his disciples asked him, saying, What might be this parable?
What do you mean by this parable?
That's what they're asking.
And Jesus said unto you, He said, Unto you, To know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.
But to other parables, that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Now this parable is this.
The seed is the word of God.
So, we just read, you know, how to sow a farm that lays the seeds out, right?
But he's using this in the spiritual sense here, right?
Now he's explaining, because now, what I said about context, now somebody just read this, right?
Verses 5-8, they're like, alright, what is he talking about?
And you can have many different interpretations about this, right?
Right?
So understand this now, when I said, let the Scripture interpret the Scripture, keep reading, now he goes on to explain it further.
Because how many people, right off the bat, was trying to guess what a seed is?
What is a seed?
In the spiritual sense, right?
What is he talking about?
Now he goes on to explain it.
So you don't need some pastor or something to interpret this for you.
Just keep breathing.
Because it says where I am.
And our interpretations, you know, our opinions and interpretations don't mean nothing.
They're irrelevant.
And I tell people to challenge me all the time.
Do it.
Because the Bible says to challenge every spirit.
Challenge me.
Do it.
If it's not from the Word of God, it's not truth.
Plain and simple.
I don't care who it's from.
I don't care if it's from your favorite pastor.
I don't care if it's from me.
So, and now he says, now the parable, they asked him to explain this parable, right?
He said, the seed is the word of God.
So, what is he talking about?
That's everybody out here, right?
That goes and tries to talk to people about the Bible.
Now, as you've seen, some fell off on a rock, you know, some, you know, got choked up in the thorns, some fell, you know, off to the side or something.
And the ones that didn't sink into the hole that's prosperous a hundred times, right?
So what that says is, when you go tell somebody the Word of God, you preach to them, they might not hear it for us.
They might not want to hear it, but when you told them, you've already done what you had to do.
Walk away.
Once you've implanted the seed of God in them, you've done what you can.
There's nothing more you can do.
You can't beat them over the head.
Walk away and let the seed of God work its way.
See, that's what he's saying.
You know what I mean?
You try to help people, absolutely.
Try to help families and friends and even strangers.
But plant the seed and let the seed do its work.
So again, the disciples ask what this means, and he goes, the seed is the word of God.
And that's exactly what you're reading here today, guys.
And verse 12, those by the wayside are they that hear, Then cometh the devil and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest ye should believe and be saved.
So here's the thing, right?
We went over this in Matthew and I think Mark, right?
About the Sower, right?
And this is why people say, well, why do we got to read all these chapters when it's the same accounts?
Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and John, they talk about the same things.
Well, again, it's the different views.
We have to stress this.
This is why it's important to read all these books, because you need to understand every... Because the thing is, for all of us right now to witness something, right?
We wrote a statement.
All our statements are going to be the same thing, but written different ways, right?
So, some people might not understand my statement.
Some people might not understand your statement.
But when they put all the statements together, they get a clearer picture, right?
This is exactly because we're witnesses, right?
Of that accident, or whatever happened.
This is the witnesses of Jesus Christ.
So, Luke here explains this a lot more better than Matthew and Mark.
So he gives you the details, right?
Deceit is the word of God.
And he's saying that those by the wayside, I'm sorry, that fell by the wayside, that the people that hear it, then the devil comes and takes away the word of God out of their hearts.
At least should they believe or be saved, right?
So basically they'll hear it, they'll listen, but the devil will do something to them, some distraction, lead them into some further sin or something like that, and they'll just quickly turn away from the word of God.
Not even paying attention to it, right?
So, and they say, Jesus says, They on the rock, are they, which they have heard the word, right?
Received the word with joy.
Now, again, this is the people, the seeds that fell on the rock.
Remember, the people on the rock get burned away because of the heat, right?
So, these are the people out there, right?
Which you preach to.
They'll hear it, right?
They'll receive the word with joy.
Thank you so much for telling me this.
God bless you, right?
But these have no roots.
Those people have no root.
For which a while they believe, they'll believe for a while, and in the time of temptation they'll fall away.
So these are the people we preach to, right?
The people we preach to, they'll receive the Word of God, they'll give you thanks and all this blessed stuff.
Hallelujah, you know?
And a while later, temptation will come their way, and they'll quickly fall away.
Because they have no root.
They didn't allow the seed of God, the Word, to root inside of them.
And you know, these are people who are a decent notch.
You know, good people.
Who, you know, open to this.
But, a temptation will come their way and they'll quickly turn away.
You know, verse 14.
And that which fell among the dawns.
You know, the dawns that choke.
Remember?
The dawns choke the seed out.
Because it robs the nutrients and everything else, right?
Well, he's talking about those seeds that fell among the thorns, they are which they have heard and go forth and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life and bring forth no fruit to perfection.
So, what he's saying here is these are the people, they'll hear the word of God, right?
But they don't really care.
All they care about is their cars, their money, their girls.
This, that, and the other thing.
All the pleasures of life.
Who cares about, you know, the God stuff?
I want to live my life, go party, get drunk every night, go party with girls, this, that, and the other thing, and all the sexual stuff, and yeah.
That's all they care about.
And when he talks about, um, bring no fruit of perfection, and God also, Jesus, describes us as a tree, right?
And if your tree doesn't produce good fruit, what does the farmer do?
If a farmer has a bunch of apple trees, right?
If a tree stops producing good fruit, or no fruit at all, what does the farmer do?
They cut that tree down, burn it, and they plant a new one.
That's exactly what happens to people.
They're not producing fruit or nothing.
And that could be a Christian too.
And I know some people might be handicapped or whatever the case, but you know what?
There's no excuse.
And I'm not saying that you gotta run out everywhere to preach the word of God if you can't physically do it, right?
But there's a way you can do it.
Share it on social media.
Share some verses and try to talk to people in the forums and everything.
Your friends, family, and neighbors.
There's a way to do it, you know what I mean?
There is a way.
And ask God to lead you.
He will lead you.
And God bless those people out there in the streets preaching.
To me, those are the true warriors of Jesus Christ.
God bless them.
They go through physical punishment, people attack them and everything else.
God bless those people out there.
Those are the true warriors.
Great people.
And me, what I do is online stuff, yeah.
I host a spiritual warfare show and other news shows and all that stuff and videos like this.
And yeah, at times I'll go out and confront evil people and everything else.
But that's my call, you know what I mean?
So ask God what your call is.
It could be street preaching, it could be online stuff.
Heck, you could go out on the forum and just write paragraphs.
Write, you know, become a journalist or something.
Write some good stuff, you know, with a description.
There's something you can do.
If you're sitting here watching right now or listening right now, there's something you can do.
If you can listen to this, because you have ears.
And if you can see this, because you have eyes.
He that hears he or she has ears, let him hear.
He or she that has eyes, let them see.
Put this to good work.
Let your tree produce good fruit.
So, but that the good ground are they, so basically the seed that fell in the holes and started producing, right?
The Word of God that was preached to the person, and they grounded it.
You know what I mean?
And the seed's starting to grow now.
With good roots, right?
So as we learn today, guys, and I'm still learning.
I've been at this for years.
I am still learning.
And I'm still learning right now as I go.
Have patience, right?
Let the fruit build up.
Then, when you give up the fruit, that means you're going out there preaching, you're doing something for the Lord.
Lead by example.
Me, leading by example, I've converted a lot of people that would... At first, you're like, yeah, these people are never going to change.
And just be leading by example, right?
It helped other people.
Say, oh wow, I guess this God stuff is a good thing, you know?
So, you know, because I've seen Him do this, and He never gave up, you know?
And I'm not glorifying myself, all glory goes to the Lord.
You know what I mean, plain and simple.
Our Heavenly Father.
So, verse 16, So basically, he's talking about the light, the candle light here.
So basically, he's talking about the light, the candlelight here.
That light is in you.
That's the Holy Spirit.
It's the Word of God.
Don't cover it with a...
You know what I mean?
Like, don't cover it, he's saying.
Don't put it under the bed.
In other words, like, before I saw you, you'd probably burn your house down.
But in this sense here, don't hide the light that's in you.
And that light's from, it's not your light, it's from God.
Just in case there's any New Agers out there who try to preach that.
No, that light doesn't come from you.
That light comes from God.
And we are not God.
Not even close.
We're his creation.
So, in other words, you put that, the light that he's giving you, right?
It could be a little dim light right now, because you're still learning.
Put that light in the candlestick.
That candle, put it in the candlestick.
So the people, what I said, remember that I just said that?
Lead by example.
Put that light in the candlestick, so that when the people enter, right?
In other words, they see you, start to get to know you, right?
They see that light, right?
You'll lead them by example.
Perfect description right there.
That came from the Holy Spirit guys, not me.
Because I... Just as I said that, then this verse came.
It's awesome.
So, for nothing is a secret that shall be not made manifest, neither anything hidden that shall not be known and come abroad.
So basically, every secret... I mean, we could do... We all do this, okay?
We all do some sin stuff, right?
And it could be right in front of men.
It could be behind closed doors.
It's going to be made manifest.
And I know one day we're going to be looking at God with our heads going to be like buried.
You know what I mean?
Like, oh man, I can't believe I did that.
Oh man, don't watch that.
God, please.
You know what I mean?
And I'm not going to get into details because I know everybody's guilty of these things.
You know what I mean?
So we're all going to know that, right?
But the thing is, because it was grace that he's forgiven us and we turned away from the sins.
But he says all, everything that's nothing's a secret.
It might be a secret now, Might be a secret for your whole life, but it's going to be made manifest one way or another.
In this life, or the second life to come.
And hopefully not the second death for most people.
You know what I mean?
So, uh, take heed, therefore, how ye hear.
So, take heed how ye hear these things.
For whoever has, to him shall be given.
And whoever has not, from him shall be taken, even that which is seemeth to have.
So, Whoever has the knowledge, right?
The Word of God.
He shall be given more.
But whoever doesn't have the Word of God, it's going to be taken from them.
You get what this is saying?
So now, remember I said the description and context?
If you went back and read verses 5-8, talk about the Torah.
And this is what most churches do.
This is how they operate, right?
Not to go off the subject.
Well, they'll read these verses, right?
Now they leave, just by reading this instead of all this, right, in context, right?
They'll leave the reader, or the listener, open to interpretation.
So now this is when, what they'll do, the religions, right?
They systematically And psychologically know how to manipulate the psyops, you know?
Psychological operations and stuff.
What they'll do is they'll take that, right?
That little context here.
Not the whole context.
They'll go to another set of verses somewhere, right?
That has nothing to do with this.
And link it to this somehow.
So they can push their religious dogma on you.
Fool you.
Oh, it's from the Bible.
But the person listening, 99% of the people in the audience.
Has no clue.
They think this is truth because now what they've done instead of reading this context here they've just manipulated these few set of verses or one verse to fit their religious dogma.
To lie to you.
Right?
Now this is what God wants you to do.
Absorb what he just said.
Let that light.
You go back to the candle, right?
Let that light shine in you.
You said that, you know, that When the word of God has grown in you with a good root in all that, you're gonna produce good fruit.
So you will not be tricked and fooled by these religions out there.
And I don't condemn just one religion, I condemn every single religion out there.
Because we're to follow God, we're followers of Jesus Christ.
I'm not a Catholic, not a Christian, not a Pentecostal, any of that stuff.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
I don't follow religion, I don't belong to no religion.
And there's a big difference between the Bible and religion, guys.
As we explain over and over again.
In our spiritual warfare shows and also the Word of God on its own.
So it says again, take heed, therefore you hear this, right?
Whoever has to Him shall be given.
And whoever has not, so in other words, if you have the Word of God on you, And you're helping people, right?
It's going to be given more.
You're going to be given more gifts and more talents, right?
To help, you know, increase your teaching abilities.
Never, like, five years ago, I would never have thought I would be able to understand this, to do what I'm doing today.
I've taken the talents from the parable of the talents.
I've taken those talents and I've invested those talents.
That God's given me, right?
And He only gives you what you can handle, right?
He's not going to give everybody the same amount of talents.
He gives you what you can handle.
Now, what are you going to do?
Bury them and wait for them to come?
It's like, oh, I saved them, hid them from people?
And He's going to call you a worthless servant, literally.
But if you take those talents, invest them, work on them, produce good fruit, you gain more talents.
That you could be up here preaching to people like this, you could be doing what I'm doing here, and better!
Don't waste the talents, don't waste the seed of God in you.
And you gotta be rewarded, but I'd rather have my rewards in heaven.
Yeah, sure, you get thanks and praises from men, but you know, that's not what you're looking for.
You're looking for the rewards in heaven.
So, verse 19, Then came to him his mother and brethren.
Now, this is, uh, this...
This here is gonna tick off a lot of Catholics, right?
And some Spanish religions, all that, because they literally worship Mary.
Which, Mary's not to be worshipped.
She's a blessed mother, God bless her.
Absolutely not disgracing her in any which way.
But, yeah, she's not to be worshipped.
She's not a moderator, mediator, or anything of the sort.
Or assessor, you know, anything like that.
Intercessor, I'm sorry.
Yeah, there's only one intercessor, only mediator between man and God, and that's Jesus Christ, as we pointed out in both Matthew, Mark, and Luke here.
So, and now check this out, right?
This is a different situation, alright?
So, this here was all the context about the sower, right?
All the way back.
The sower, with the seed and everything, that's the whole context of it, right?
Now, verse 19 starts a whole new segment, so to speak, right?
So, Jesus is preaching, right?
Because he just got done preaching.
Then he explained what the parables meant, right?
After he got done, then came to him his mother and his brother, which is brothers and sisters, right?
As we learned about Matthew and Mark.
Brothers and sisters.
Right?
And could not come at him for the press, right?
Basically, there's a crowd of people, and they try to get to Jesus.
And even apostles are like, yeah, yeah, hold on, hold on, you're speaking, right?
No, I'm sorry, let me rephrase that.
The people, they couldn't get to the people.
They got to the people that tried to get Jesus' attention, right?
So, and it was told him by a certain, which said, hey, you know, he stopped, he said, excuse me, Jesus, excuse me.
Hey, your mother and thy brother stand without desire to see you, right?
So he said, honor, honor, Jesus, I don't mean to interrupt you, some certain person, right?
Because Jesus is preaching, right?
And he said, hold on, your mother and your brethren, he hasn't seen you, that's your brothers and sisters, and your mother.
So, and right away, because he stopped him, right?
So now to make an example of this, he set out law, right?
And he answered and said to them, My mother and my brethren, are these which hear the word of God and do it?
So this explains it more or better in Matthew and Mark.
So basically, he also went out to say, to show, to say, alright, because, you know, they don't get first priority.
Because he says, yeah, who's my mother?
Then he goes out, this is Matthew and Mark, who says, right, who is my mother?
Who's my brothers and sisters?
Everybody out here, you know, that comes to me is my brother and sister.
To point out that, yeah, you know, just because they're my, you know, physical brothers and sisters and mother on earth here, that, you know, they're not, you know, in a nice way of saying they're nobody special.
I thought it would go on to say that here, but I guess not.
But Matthew, Mark, we did it in the series here, so go check that out.
So, and you might bring it up here, I'm not sure.
But verse 22, I keep doing that.
Now it came to pass on a certain day that he went into a ship with his disciples.
Yes.
And he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake.
And they launched forth.
So but as they sailed, he fell asleep.
And there came down a storm and a wind on the lake.
And they were filled with water, and they were in jeopardy.
So basically, yeah.
That's self-explainable.
They're crossing over the lake, and all of a sudden a storm ripped over the lake.
Which would be waves and all kinds of stuff, because the boat's full of water now, right?
They're in jeopardy.
The boat, like, it's all over the place, right?
So, yeah.
So, and they came to him, and woke Jesus up, saying, Master, Master!
We perish!
So, now, here's the thing, right?
And, uh, reading all this, like, you come to understand this, right?
Yep.
As a reader, we can understand this, right?
But, what baffles me is I'm not bashing the apostles at all.
What baffles me is all the stuff that Jesus has done, right?
All the stuff.
Miracles.
Same things with the Jews and Moses, right?
All the stuff that God's done for them.
Now they're like in stormy weather and they're afraid.
They think they're gonna die.
Have they not learned who they're riding on the boat with?
You know what I mean?
And have the Jews not learned who's being led?
Moses, you know, who's leading Moses to lead them?
So anyway, um, again, Jesus fell asleep by the boat because the storm ripped open, uh, on the lake.
Waves were hitting under the boat, uh, causing water to come in and everything else, right?
They woke Jesus up saying, Master, Master, we're gonna perish!
Then Jesus rose, and he rebuked the wind, and the raging of the water, and they ceased.
And then it was just calm after that.
So he just shut off the whole thing.
Heh!
You know, imagine that, the whole storm ripping up.
Just boom!
Stop!
Everything just stopped.
And he looked at them and he said to them, Where is your faith?
Where is your faith?
And they, being afraid, wondering, saying to one another, what manner of man is this?
For he commanded even the winds and water to obey him.
He said, where is your faith?
All the stuff I've done, now you're at this time, you know, you're right in the boat with me.
Why would you be afraid?
It could be a typhoon, you still, you know what I mean?
You shouldn't be afraid because you're with Jesus.
So anyway, and they arrived at the country of Gardenius, which was over against Galilee.
And when he went forth to the land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and wear no clothes, and neither abide in any house but in the tombs.
So, let me paint this here, because we talked about this in Matthew and Mark, right?
This is a possessed man of devils, demons.
So, this guy's running around naked, alright?
Yeah, he's not abiding in any house, he's sleeping in the tombs.
Very horrific person, right?
Nobody can even contain him, right?
So this is the power of Jesus.
So Jesus just got off the boat.
He's walking on the land, right?
And this devil that's up the hill a little bit, in the tombs.
Like, he felt Jesus there, right?
Looked at him, come flying down the hill, or across the way, whatever.
Hup!
Okay, excuse me.
And when he saw Jesus, he cried out.
He said, here's the thing, anybody that went near him, he would attack.
That says more details than Matthew and Mark.
That's why it's good to learn all the accounts here.
Anybody that went near this demon-possessed person, he would viciously attack.
Nobody could bind him or chain him down, nothing, right?
But when he saw Jesus, right?
Jesus didn't even say a word.
Second, he stepped off that boat.
This thing stood up, paid attention, ran up to Jesus, right?
Dropped to his face and fell down before him.
She cried out, and with a loud voice said, I beseech thee, torment me not.
Begging and pleading.
On his face, acknowledging Jesus as the Son of the God of the Most High.
Right?
Acknowledging us.
And saying, I beseech thee, torment me not.
The demons were afraid of Jesus.
Afraid!
Terrified!
Not afraid, terrified is an understatement.
Because, like I say this a lot, demons are the spirits of the Nephilim, which were the children of the fallen angels.
When they were killed before and after the flood, their souls were cursed to roam the earth until judgment day.
They don't go to hell.
They go to judgment day.
After judgment day, they get cast into the lake of fire, which makes the hell look like walking the park.
You know what I mean?
So, at this point, they're like, oh my god, is Jesus going to send us to hell?
Because the other version of Matthew and Mark says, are you here to torment me before our time?
In other words, we're here, God, you know, God instructed us to be here on the earth until Judgment Day.
So are you here to cast us away before our time?
They were afraid.
So, right away Jesus commanded that the unclean spirit to come out of the man.
And often times it had caught him.
And he was kept bound with the chains and fetters.
And he breaks the bands and was driven out as devils in the wilderness.
So what I was talking about earlier, that this demon possessed person, nobody could chain this guy down.
I mean, and he broke bands and all kinds of things that tried to chain him down and contain him.
Or, you know, even tough men tried to hold this guy down.
Couldn't because of the devils in him, right?
The spirits, the demons.
And Jesus commanded him, the unclean spirit, to come out of the man, right?
And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name?
Jesus knew his name.
What is thy name?
And he said, Legion, because we are many devils were entered into him.
So this is a man that's possessed of multiple devils.
Demons.
Devils are demons.
And Legion is like 2,000?
Yeah.
Imagine that.
One demon is horrific.
Imagine 2,000 demons.
Let me double check that, guys.
So how many are in a Legion?
Three to six thousand soldiers.
Alright, so... I stand corrected.
So, as you see in there, right?
Three to six thousand demons... Were possessing this man.
And again, what's your name?
He said, Legion.
Because we are many.
Many devils are entered in him, right?
So, as you can see here... Usually compromising the three to six thousand... Soldiers in the Legion in the military, right?
So, it's about the same legion of demons...
And it's guy.
And the numbers vary from different areas and what not.
So, anyway.
And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
And there was a herd of swine, many swine, feeding on the mountain, and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them, and he suffered them.
So what he's saying, like, because the thing is, they were afraid of Jesus literally casting them to hell.
Just go right to hell.
Boom.
See you later.
Right?
So they begged and pleaded Jesus.
To be cast into... Because Jesus said this time, call these demons out, right?
Call them out of the man.
Now they're disembodied right now.
They're disembodied spirits at this point.
They end up begging and pleading for Jesus to cast them into the swine.
And notice how the swine took his unclean animal?
Yeah.
That's why they chose the swine.
That's a big reason why.
And that's a whole new ball of wax all together.
So this is Spiritual Warfare guys.
So then the devils went out of man and entered into the swine.
If you don't know what swine is, it's pigs.
And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked.
So right away they entered the swine and the swine went right into the lake and drowned themselves.
And when they, that fed them, saw what was done, they fled and went and told it to the city and the country.
So, the people who owned the sheep, oh I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry And then they went out to see what was done and came to Jesus and found a man of whom the devils were departed sitting at the feet of Jesus clothed in his right hand.
And they were afraid.
So mind you'll get, okay?
Everybody knew about this man.
Everybody in the country knew about this man.
They knew not to go near him because he was possessed and like nobody, not even armies can hold this guy down.
Imagine, right?
And now they come to him.
Wow, he's actually clothed now.
He's not naked.
He's calm.
He's not a raging lunatic no more.
Sitting there all peaceful right by Jesus.
And in his right mind.
You know, he's probably speaking all normal.
And they were afraid of him.
It's like, wow, what happened?
And they also saw it told them by which means that he was possessed of the devils when he was healed.
So Jesus told him, we healed, I healed him.
And I am sure the man was like jubilant about this.
This man, Jesus, he healed him.
The son of God.
He cast these devils out.
And then the whole multitude of the country of the Gardenians round about besought him to depart from them.
So they told him, like, they were afraid because, number one, all this chaos going on, right?
They were so afraid they asked Jesus to leave.
Instead of being like, oh, so happy for this guy that he healed them from... It was just like all this chaos going on.
They were so afraid.
They were definitely afraid of this.
And they asked Jesus to leave.
And for they were taken with great fear.
They were afraid.
These people were like, what the heck happened?
This man, everybody knew that was possessed.
Just now he's clothing, sitting there all normal minded and everything in his right mind.
So they said, Jesus, you need to leave.
They were afraid.
So he went into the ship and returned back again.
So now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that might be with him, but Jesus sent him away same.
So basically the man, before he left, the man that he helped, right?
Wanted to keep following Jesus.
Say, I want to go with you, right?
But Jesus said, you know, you're fine brother, go away, right?
And he said, to return to thy own house and show how great things that God has done for thee.
Not today.
So this way, the thing is, if he would have went with Jesus, right?
Yeah, I mean, yeah, he healed and all that.
But his testimony would have now went into his own house.
Because now, mind you, this is why this is going on, right?
Why Jesus did this.
Because these people are scared, they're dead, demanding Jesus to get the heck out of here.
So this guy's ready to go on a trip with him.
He goes, no, go to your own house, right?
Show how great these things that God has done for you.
So by him doing that, right?
That this once possessed man went to his house, showed everybody all over the place that he's not possessed no more.
He's right in the right mind and all that.
And saying that Jesus did this.
This is going to spread his testimony and fame all throughout his country.
That's why Jesus did this.
And he went his way and published throughout the whole city.
He told everybody.
How great things Jesus had done unto him.
That right there, is a living testimony.
And you know how many people that guy must have saved right there?
This is why Jesus turned them away from following him.
Because Jesus could no longer preach in that country because they were ready to do something to him.
They were so afraid, they were ready to attack him, right?
So he said, he told the guy, go, just go back to your house, don't worry.
Go show everybody how great that God's done for you, right?
So he went back to his house and everybody's like, oh, they must have been afraid at first, but this guy is now in the right mind, all dressed up and everything, right?
You know, I'm dressed, I'm in clothes again, right?
Went throughout the whole city and everything and told everybody how great things Jesus has done for them.
So from him doing that, the living testimony right there, that could be you!
What Jesus done for you, if you were an alcoholic, you're a druggie, and everybody knew about you, right?
All that druggie down the street, or they're alcoholic, or whatever, abuser, murderer, whatever the case, right?
And God's healed you.
Imagine you go around, and now you're dressed right, you're clean cut and everything else.
Leading by example.
That's gonna turn a lot of people.
Oh man, wow!
Let me give this Jesus thing a try myself.
See how, why Jesus did it?
There's a question.
There's nothing wrong with questioning why Jesus did it, right?
Doing certain things.
And he tells you why.
And I hope we explain why.
Now guys, if you don't understand any of this, in the comment section, please, by all means, put your questions, comments, and answers.
And not the live chat.
I'm talking about the comment section.
So after the presentation of the premiere, in the comment section, put out any questions, comments, or whatever in the chat.
I'm sorry, the comment section, and I'll get back to you.
So verse 40, and it came to pass that when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him, for they were all waiting for him.
So when he returned back over, imagine like your favorite rock star or something to come, and that's exactly the fate he had.
But better, of course, you know?
So now this is kind of weird, because the leader of the synagogue, because mind you, the elders and whatever, they were out to get to Jesus.
into his house.
So now this is kind of rare because a leader of a synagogue, because mind you, the elders or whatever, they were out to get to Jesus.
They were out to try to get him to say something blasphemous so they could take him out.
They look very reasonable.
But for a man from the synagogue, a leader, to come out and drop to Jesus' feet, that was big.
So, he fell down to Jesus' feet and saw him, you know, begging him, could you come to my house, please?
And he had only one daughter and about 12 years old.
So, he had a 12-year-old daughter and she is laying in bed, dying.
But he went to the people, thronged them, And a woman having an issue of blood 12 years, and had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed or any.
So, basically it's a 12 year old girl, had an issue of blood, something going on in the blood system, right?
Physicians and doctors, all her life she was on the medical care.
And nobody could help her or heal her, right?
So, came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her tissue was blood-stanched.
I mean.
All right, guys, I'm sorry.
This is not the same person.
Because this is written different in this book.
We explained this to Matthew and Mark.
So, this is written a little bit different.
So, this is a... Alright, let me go back so I don't confuse you.
So, basically this guy Jarius, right?
He's the leader of the synagogue.
He came to beg Jesus, right?
To help his 12 year old daughter, right?
While he's doing that, right?
A different woman.
Another woman, right?
As he's doing that, right?
A woman who was trying to get to Jesus, right?
But she had so much faith in Jesus.
She pushed through the people and everything she was saying to herself.
Only if I could touch his garment that I may be cured, right?
And have an issue of 12 years.
So she had a blood clot because I got that confused.
12 years old and this woman had a blood issue, right?
So she spent her whole life living on physicians and nobody could help her, right?
So she came behind him and touched the border of his garment and immediately her issue of blood stopped.
So immediately she was cured, right?
And right away Jesus stopped.
Stopped dead, right?
He said, who touched me?
And when everybody denied, Peter, everybody denied.
I didn't touch you.
What are you talking about?
Peter, that they were with him, said, Master, the multitude thronged me and pressed me, and says, Who touched me?
So something pronged me, and I was like, trying to push it to the crowd, right?
And you're asking, Who touched me?
And Jesus said, Somebody had touched me, for I perceived that virtue was going out of me.
So he knew, okay?
He felt that.
Because the girl, this woman, right?
She was, um... She was so abdomen, right?
Because she, you know, there's a crowd of people, and she seen Jesus going through, but she couldn't even get anywhere.
But in her heart, right, she was dying, you know, on the way out.
And she's like, if I could just push through, just... If I could just touch his, you know, his garment, that may be cured, right?
Because she had that much faith in him, right?
So Jesus stopped, everybody stopped, right?
The crowd and everything, asking, who touched me, right?
Somebody touched me for I had perceived that virtue was going out of me.
That healed that woman, right?
And when the woman saw that she was not hid, right?
She came trembling and fell down before him.
Because she was like, Jesus looked at her, right?
Knew it was her that touched him.
So she came down trembling and frayed and fell down before him.
She declared unto him before all the people that the cause she had touched him, because of her blood stuff, right?
Because in how she was immediately healed.
And he said to her, daughter, be of good comfort.
Because at this point, she was afraid.
She was afraid she was going to get... Because she pushed through, she didn't even ask permission or nothing.
She touched his garment, and she was healed, right?
And so now at this point, because Jesus stopped and all this making her, you know, this is a big issue, right?
She was afraid.
Because she was afraid that Jesus was going to be mad at her.
But, this is what Jesus said, right?
He said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort.
Thy faith has made you whole again.
Go in peace.
Because of her faith that if she could only touch his garment, that she might be healed.
He was astonished by that.
He loved his dad.
And it wasn't the garment that healed her.
No.
Her faith in Jesus is what healed her.
Because again, thy faith has made thee whole.
Not the garment.
Because her faith in him has made her whole and healed.
And he says, go in peace.
He wasn't mad at her.
She thought he was.
Everybody thought of it, you know?
But no, not at all.
So...
While he spoke, there comes another rule of the synagogue child saying to him, thy daughter is dead.
Trouble thy master.
Now remember the 12 year old girl?
Because I started to get confused with the 12 year old girl and the girl with 12 years of two different things, you know what I mean?
So the 12 year old girl from the master of the synagogue, right?
The Jarius?
Because at the time he was just telling Jesus about this, and that's when the woman pushed through to interrupt it.
So just don't want to confuse people on everybody on the same page.
Jarius, you know, was telling Jesus about his daughter.
Jarius, he was a synagogue leader.
About his 12-year-old daughter, right?
And just as he's doing that, this woman who had this disease for 12 years, an older woman, pushed through to touch his garment, right?
So right after this is done.
So right after this, right?
He told the woman to go to peace and then while they're all standing there and Jairus is still there, right?
Ready to talk to Jesus again.
One of his servants came running over.
One of the servants of Jairus, right?
Came running over and told him, hey, your daughter is dead.
Don't trouble the master.
She's already dead.
Don't forget about her.
That's what he's saying.
And of course the guy probably broke down in tears.
But Jesus heard this and he answered him saying, Hold on, hold on.
Fear not.
Believe only and she shall be made whole.
So he said, Don't... No, she's fine.
Go home.
But she's dead.
You know, my servant said she's dead.
Don't worry about it.
Go home.
Fear not.
Believe only.
Believe it.
You know what I mean?
That, you know, I can heal her, right?
And she shall be made whole.
So when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in.
Says Peter and John.
So he basically just took Peter, John, and James with him.
And the father and the mother of the baby, right?
So they went into the house.
So Jesus, Jairus, and his wife.
Jairus' wife there.
And they took Peter, James, and John.
And told everybody to stay out of here.
You know what I mean?
We're going to go in by ourselves, right?
Went into the 12-year-old girl, right?
And uh, all were weeping.
You know what I mean?
They were bewailed about her.
They were just weeping.
Crying.
You know, of course it's what everybody would, you know?
But he said, weep not.
Cause you know, his mother's over there by her bedside crying and everything else.
And uh, they all went in there.
And um, she's weeping.
He's weeping.
He goes, weep not.
She's not dead, but asleep.
And they laughed at him to scorn knowing that she was dead.
It's like, what are you talking about?
She's dead, dude.
And again, you know what I mean?
They were like, yeah, she's dead.
I don't know what you're talking about.
She's not sleeping.
They laughed at him to scorn.
You know, not laughed like, ha ha ha, but you know, are you kidding me?
You know?
And he put them all out and took her by the hand.
So he told everybody, everybody out, please.
Get out of the room.
And he took her by the hand and called, saying, Maid, arise.
So, and her spirit came again, and she rose straight away.
And he commanded to give her meat.
So basically, as soon as she came to life, he told the parents to give her some meat.
Cause obviously she was laying there for a while and probably needed some nutrition.
You know what I mean?
So to restore the blood cells and all that stuff.
So there's a lot of different reasons.
But he told everybody.
Cause everybody's like what did he talk about?
She's dead.
You know.
You know it's like scorn and it's like dude my daughter's dead.
And he goes everybody leave the room right now.
Everybody.
They put them all out and they took her by the hand and called saying, May it arise.
So she gets right up.
Her spirit came again into her.
She rose straight away and he commanded the parents to give her meat to eat.
Yeah, something to eat.
Meat means could be anything.
Vegetables.
But in other words, when they said to give her meat, that means like something to eat at the time.
Not necessarily a piece of meat, you know what I mean?
Could be anything.
Could be some bread, who knows, you know?
So...
And her parents were astonished.
But he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
So they told him, listen, okay?
Because everybody's outside, right?
Because here's the thing.
If they would've went out and told... If they would've... This is why he did this.
You gotta understand why Jesus did these things.
You think, well, wouldn't Jesus want this to be known?
Yeah, it would be known when the scriptures were written.
As he told Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to write these things, right?
But not at this point.
Now, here's what would've happened, right?
Here's what would've happened.
Yeah, if they ran out that door right there, right?
Thousands of people all around the house.
To yell out, he just brought my daughter to life.
You know what would've happened?
It would've either scared the heck out of those people, it would've been chaos.
Or... Like, you know, as I said.
You know, as you've seen earlier.
When he went over to the other side of the lake there.
To cast out that demon that scared the heck out of everybody.
Right?
The same thing would have happened here.
Or.
Everybody and their mother.
Would be begging and pleading.
For him to raise their relatives from the dead.
You know the chaos that would have caused?
This is why.
Okay?
He said don't tell anybody I did this.
So.
In other words to give them enough time.
He knew they would anyway.
Cause that's what you do.
You know.
Every time he tells people don't say nothing.
They do it anyway.
But what it does is it gives them enough time to get away.
Because he would have been mobbed.
Don't you, you know, think of that right now today, right?
Just say you had a relative, right?
That was dying.
Jesus came and then, you know, you got like hundreds of family members there, right?
And everybody has got somebody that's dead that they wish was alive, right?
And this guy come over and healed, brought that, you know, kid back to life, right?
Everybody would be mobbing him.
You gotta bring my mother back to life, my father, my sister, this one and that one, right?
My wife, my husband.
They literally fight over him.
Now what I mean is the chaos would be disastrous.
So this is why he told them.
Okay?
And anytime you see this, when he says don't tell anybody about this.
Charging him and saying, in other words, ordering him, don't tell anybody.
Because of that reason guys.
So it's not that he doesn't want people to know.
because if he didn't want people to know, it would have never been written.
At the time, just enough time for him to get away.
Because he knows eventually they're going to tell people, but by that time, he's already long gone.
As you can see, there's a common trend there to all the scriptures in the New Testament.
Just enough to get away.
Hopefully they wouldn't say enough until enough to get away.
Because they would have, oh man, everybody would have been grabbing him.
God knows what would have happened.
It would have scared them to death to attack them or scared them I mean, uh made them him want them or whatever made him want, uh, you know, uh heal their relatives So I hope you guys get the point if you don't please again inbox me.
I mean, sorry.
