Declaring war on the New World Order.
truthradioshow.com And welcome to the Dan Bedani Show on truthradioshow.com We are in a comprehensive study of the book of Luke, and today will be chapter 7.
So guys, what we like to do guys, before we get anything going, we like to do a specific Bible study approach.
Number one, that's praying for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now.
Yeshua Messiah Jesus, we come before you and ask you to forgive us for our sins and our trespasses individually.
And we ask you to make us pure before the Father.
And Father, we come to your throne to ask you to give us the Holy Spirit, to teach us, to fully understand your word today, in this case, the book of Luke chapter 7.
To help us disseminate all your mysteries and just learn your wonderful, amazing word in its full context.
We ask you to help heal people that are sick, lonely, depressed, or anything like that.
Just comfort them, heal them, and protect us all against all the forces of evil.
We ask you in your mighty name, Amen.
So now that's done, guys, what we do is we pray, I'm sorry, we read the scripture in its context.
Guys, context is key.
We can't emphasize this enough.
We don't just read through the Bible.
We need to understand what these words mean, what they're saying, and without taking a couple verses here and there, now we just go, we read through every word and really understand the full context.
That could be the paragraph, the chapter, maybe two chapters.
But context is key, that's what you need to understand.
And let the scripture interpret the scripture.
So this is such an awesome chapter, awesome book in general.
Chapter 7 here, so this is such amazing stuff really is.
So let's get on with this.
So, if you got a Bible guys, please open it up for yourselves.
But we do get it on screen and if you listen on the audio version here, just open up your own Bible.
We prefer King James, the Geneva or something older, even the Wycliffe Bible or the Ethiopian Bible, whatever you got.
So, we'll open it up and we also got the King James up on screen if you watch it on the video edition.
So, let's get on with this amazing chapter.
And if you missed the chapters 1 through 6, they are on the playlist guys.
and also the entire books of Matthew and Mark as well.
So verse one, "Now when he had ended all his sayings "and the audience of the people, he answered Capernaum." So chapter six, he once again, dealing with people, once again, doing what he does best.
He's talking about Jesus, yeah, you know.
And you've got the Pharisees, the scribes and elders and all are trying to incriminate Jesus because they're just jealous of him.
So, and like it says here, now when he ended all the sayings in the audiences of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
And a certain centurion servant who was daring to him was sick and ready to die.
And when he had heard of Jesus, he sent out unto the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
So this is the ongoing thing.
People he knew, just people in general, were seeking out for his help from healing from sickness, casting out demons, the whole nine yards.
So, and when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying that he is worthy for whom to do this.
For he loves our nation, and he has built us a synagogue.
So, you know, when they came to say, hey, Larry, this Sartorian servant, he's worthy because he helped build the synagogue and he loves our nation, so he's worthy of it, right?
So, and then Jesus went with them, and when he went not far from the house, the Sartorians sent friends to him, saying to the Lord, trouble not thyself, for I am not worthy that you should even enter under my roof.
So this guy's here saying, like, you know, I'm not worthy for you to come into my house, because you don't have so much faith yet in Jesus.
So wherefore, neither though I myself worthy to come into thee, but I say in the word, and my servant shall be healed.
So this guy, he just didn't feel like he was worthy enough.
Even though he had people under him and everything else, he felt like he wasn't worthy enough for Jesus to come to his house, nor even to talk to him or help him.
Just didn't feel worthy, you know?
And he goes, if you want to say a word to help my servant, that's all I want is my servant healed.
He's helped build the synagogue, he's done good things for our nation, he loves our nation and all that.
He deserves it.
But me, I'm not worthy.
I'm not worthy for you to even step in my house, nor even to talk to you.
But he also says, For I am also a man set under authority, having under me soldiers.
And I say unto one, Go, and goeth, and come, and they come.
And to my servants, do this, and they do it.
So he's saying, what this is pointing out, right?
The centurion, right?
He's got great authority.
He's got people under him.
He gives orders.
He's the one giving orders, right?
Servants, soldiers, this, that, and the other thing.
Now, he's sitting there saying, I have no authority.
I'm sorry, I'm not worthy.
For a person of that stature, saying I'm not worthy to even talk to Jesus, nor him to step in my house.
But I do plead that you can help my servant.
So, when Jesus heard of these things, he marveled at them.
He said, wow, alright.
And turned him about, and he said to the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
He was marveled, was like, wow, this guy, he's very humble.
You know, he's humble to me because I think, this guy's got a great authority, but he's humbled himself to me.
Saying, I, you know what I mean?
You won't find that many people in that kind of power that have all these people under them and everything.
But to come to you and to say, hey, listen, I'm not even worthy to talk to you, you know?
So Jesus was marveled at this.
And they that were sent returned to the house.
So the people that were sent returned to the house, found the servant whole and that had been sick.
So they went back to the house and the servant They wanted to help Jesus heal, right?
They found him whole, not sick anymore.
And it came to pass the day after that when he went into the city called Nain, and many of the disciples went with him, and much people.
Now he came high to a gate of the city.
Behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow.
And much people of the city was with her.
So they're coming into the city, as you can see, right?
And I guess there was a funeral going on.
Something was going on, a funeral, obviously, because this widower, yeah, she already lost her husband.
Now she's burying her son.
I guess there's a funeral going on there, right?
So, and then, you know, I guess they're crossing each other's paths, you know, Jesus coming in, they're coming out, and, you know, Jesus' funeral going on, the mother is just distraught.
Thank you.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said unto her, Weep not.
No, stop crying.
Don't cry.
And he came and touched the beer, and there the beer, him, stood still.
And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
So the bear is like the one carrying the caskets.
The pallbearers.
They call them today.
They told him to stop.
He said stop.
They stopped.
And he went over and said to the young man that was either... I don't know how they did it.
Probably wrapped up or whatever the case.
But the kid was dead.
What did he say?
He says, young man arise.
And he that was dead sat up and began to speak, and he delivered him to his mother.
So could you imagine that?
You're a widow or something, you just lost your child here.
And he just sits up and starts speaking.
Yeah, that'd be a blessing.
So, they came to fear upon everybody, and they all glorified God, saying, that a great prophet has risen up among us.
And that God has visited his people.
So imagine all the people just watching us.
They're all crying, waiting to bury this young kid and it was so sad.
And this great miracle just happened.
I'm sure everybody over there was dropping to their knees and just thankfulness to God, you know, to God and Jesus here.
And this rumor of him went forth throughout all Judea and throughout all the region around about.
So, of course, everybody went running to the hills.
Oh, Jesus!
Jesus rose, you know, whatever child's name, from the dead.
And the disciples of John showed him all of these things.
And John called on him.
Two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, I doubt they should come and look for one another.
So you have come, or do we look for another?
And when the men were coming to him, they said, John the Baptist has sent us down to you, saying, art thou, you should come, or should we look for another?
So John the Baptist, they sent these guys to look for Jesus, and the guys were like, are you going to come, or do we look for somebody else?
And in the same hour, he cured many of the infirmities and plagues and evil spirits.
So yeah, there he's just curing people and casting out evil spirits, which are demons.
And unto many that were blind, he gave sight.
Healing the sick, the blind, casting out devils and demons.
Then Jesus said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things you have seen and heard.
So again, he's They came looking for him, you know, to say, hey, are you coming or do we look for somebody else?
So at the same time, he's doing all this stuff, curing infirmities, plagues, and casting out evil spirits and all that.
And he goes, he turns to them and says, Jesus answered to them, go your way and tell John what things you have heard.
How that the blind see, the lame walk, and the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, and the dead are raised.
To pour the gospel and to preach.
It's preached.
And it blesses he, whoever shall not be offended in me.
Offended, like ashamed, stuff like that.
Yeah, if you could go out there and say, you know what?
I believe in Jesus and I'm proud of it.
Yeah, blessed are you for doing that.
And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John.
What went ye out into the wilderness for it to see?
A reed shaken in the wind?
So they're concerned, like, you know, Jesus is like, what's in the wilderness you want me to see?
In other words, a stick flying by in the wind or something, you know what I mean?
Uh, so, you know, big thing of hay, whatever it is, that flies through the, you know, the little bundles of twigs, twig, uh, you know, that flew, you know, what the wind pushes along.
So, I'm just, I'm sorry guys, I'm just trying to get that out there.
A little tongue-tied today.
So... But what we went in to see, a man clothed in soft raiment, behold, which are gorgeous apparel, or live, uh, delicacy, or in the king's courts.
But we went out to see a prophet, yea?
I say unto you, yea, much more than a prophet.
For he of whom is written, behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare the way before thee.
So you're saying like, yeah, talk about him.
Many messengers came along, the prophets and all that, to prepare the way for him to come.
If I'm saying to you, among those that are born of women, there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist.
But he is the least in the kingdom of God, is greater than him.
So, you had Elias, you had all these prophets, and John the Baptist is one of the greatest prophets, right?
He's actually the greatest because he said, there's no greater prophet than John.
But there's somebody greater than him, and he's talking about himself.
He's the Messiah.
And all the people that heard him, the Republicans, justified God being baptized with the baptism of John.
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of Him.
And it was said, whereunto when I shall liken the men of this generation?
And to what are they like?
They are until children sit in the marketplace and calling one another and saying, We have piped unto you and have not danced.
We have mentioned to you, but you have not wept.
So we talk about John the Baptist here.
So basically everybody's adorning John the Baptist, right?
Which, yeah, Jesus says, yes, he's the greatest prophet.
But there's one greater than him.
The one that John himself said is going to come that's better than me.
I mean, better than him.
And as you can see in the beginning of the scriptures, it was said that.
John the Baptist said there's one that's going to be greater than me, and he's talking about Jesus.
So he's trying to simply tell the people here, alright, that the prophets that had, you know, the messages, told you all about my coming.
John the Baptist, yeah, because right now everybody's just looking up to John.
And that question of Jesus.
And John, he's saying, John told you of me!
He's the greatest prophet, yeah, but he told you there's one from greater than he is.
And that's me.
And for John the Baptist came neither eating bread or drinking wine, and ye say he has a devil?
Thank you.
Thank you.
The Son of Man is coming eating and drinking, and ye say, behold, a gauntless man, a wine-bearer, A friend of the public is a sinner, but wisdom is justified over all children?
Because, again, you've got these top Jewish people trying to just incriminate Jesus.
That's what you're trying to do.
And John the Baptist, he's never touched a drink, a hard drink in his life.
And he was even accused of having the devil.
You know, and they accused Jesus of being the devil.
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him.
And he went into the Pharisee's house and sat down to eat meat.
Sat down to eat there, which is meat is eaten in whatever the food is, right?
It's not necessarily meat.
It could be meat.
I just want to point that out, because when it says meat, all right, that's many, it doesn't matter what food it is, that's what it was.
It could be a pear.
It could be apples or something.
It could be a lamb.
Who knows?
And behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat at the Pharisee's house, brought an abalaster box of ointment.
So what this is a box of ointment.
I hope I didn't butcher that.
A box of ointment.
This is a very extremely expensive box that has ointments in it.
Very extremely expensive, right?
So... So this woman just... She brings this expensive box of ointment.
She's, like, just weeping.
And did wipe them with the hair of her head.
So this woman just, she brings this expensive box of oil.
And she's like just weeping.
And she's using her tears to wash the feet of Jesus.
And she'll use her own hair to dry him, his feet.
me.
And she kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.
Now the Pharisees, which had bidden him, saw it.
He spake with themselves, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who, in the manner of this woman, this is touching him.
That's touching him for she's a sinner.
So they're saying, if he was really a prophet, he would know who this woman is.
And he would know that she's a sinner.
So they're kind of like skeptical.
You know, Jesus knew who she was.
They're saying to themselves, why is he allowing a sinner to touch him?
Right?
And Jesus answered them, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee.
And he said, Master, say on.
Because Jesus says, Simon, which is Peter, right?
I got something to say.
And he says, Master, say it.
There was a certain creditor which had debts.
The one owed 500 pence and the other owed 50.
And when he had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both.
Tell me, therefore, which of them were what I love most.
So there's a little parable here saying there was a creditor, right?
Two of them.
And there are two debtors, people that owed him money.
That's what that is.
A creditor is somebody that loans money.
Could be any money.
You know, you loan your brother 50 bucks in whatever the case.
But a person that loaned two people money.
One owed the creditor 500 pence, and the other 50.
Could be dollars, whatever the case, but you get the point.
So, when they had nothing to pay, right?
Because these two debtors, they had nothing to pay.
They couldn't pay him right now.
He goes, I have nothing to pay.
Whatever they did with the money, they couldn't pay him.
And frankly, forgave them both.
But tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
So the person that owes him 50?
Well, the person owes him $500.
Now, everybody will say, oh, the person owes him $500, but he's probably going to love it most because it's $450 more than the other person.
Simon Anson said, I suppose that he, the one you forgave most, which is the guy with the $500, and he said unto him, thou hast rightly judged.
So Peter says, the guy with the 500, and Jesus says, you have rightly judged.
So he's saying to Simon, you invited me to your house, right?
Simon, see is that this woman, I entered into your house, you gave me water for my feet, but she has washed my feet with tears and wiped them with her hair, the hairs of her head.
So he's saying to Simon, you invited me to your house, right?
You invited me in, gave me meat here, you gave me water, right?
Okay.
For my feet.
But this woman here washed my feet with her hands and whipped them with the hair overhead.
And though she gave me no kiss, but this woman since the time I came in has not ceased to kiss my feet.
So he's saying, Peter, you didn't give me a kiss, right?
You gave me no kiss.
But this woman, since she entered this room, she's been doing nothing but kissing my feet.
And my head with oil, that does not anoint.
But this woman has anointed my feet with the ointment.
So, yeah, you invited me to your house, but you didn't kiss my feet, right?
You didn't wash my feet with your tears.
You didn't anoint my head with this very expensive ointment.
But this woman does.
And she's doing it right now.
Wait before I say it to you.
Now, what you just said, right?
Remember the parable?
The person went to 500, the person went to 50.
So, the woman, she's the one with the 500.
Simon is the one with the 50.
You get what's going on here?
And then, you know, he even asked Simon, which one has been forgiven the most?
And Peter said, yeah, it's the one with the 500.
And Jesus says, you rightly judge.
So now he turns around and says, listen, you, Peter, you're the one with the 50.
She's the one with the 500.
And wherefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven.
For she loved much, but whom little is forgiven.
The same loveth little.
And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
So, we don't know what this woman did, but obviously everybody in the city there knew, and Peter, they all knew this girl was very much a sinner.
She was probably adulterous, or who knows?
And back then, something that severe would be something like adultery, or a whore or something, you know what I mean?
You know, doing their business for money, you know what I mean?
Things like that, you know what I mean?
That was taken very serious back then.
They would be cast as evil, I mean dirty, you know what I mean?
So, you know, if you see what happened, Jesus gave somebody, you know, that owed the most.
This is why Jesus lay it with parables.
Because the thing is, he just didn't want you to just tell you, right?
He wanted you to understand.
So, again, if somebody says like, If you ask somebody yes or no, right, they give you a simple yes or no answer, right?
That's what Jesus did, right?
But no person leaves it at that.
Jesus didn't leave it at that.
He gave you an explanation of why he said yes or no, or whatever the case is, you know what I mean?
And in this parable, the deputizer, that's what he was explaining.
That's why Jesus uses parables, because you could not possibly misunderstand them.
And they that sat at me with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgives sins also?
it And he said unto the woman, Thy faith has saved thee.
Go in peace.
Because now they're looking at all the people at the dinner table like, wow.
Who is this that forgives sins also?
This has got to be the Son of God.
And the woman, you know, her faith was immense.
And you have to check this out, right?
The people he was with.
Yeah, everybody sins here and there, right?
But very light sins.
But that woman had heavy sins.
She probably had more sins than all those people put together, right?
But the thing is, what he's trying to point out here, right?
She had more faith than them.
And he said, your faith has saved you.
Go in peace.
Just like that.
So with the moral of this here, guys...
No matter what you have done.
What you have done.
And here's the thing too.
Because we all have family that.
You know.
If you have a big family.
Yeah.
You got the church goers.
And you got some.
You know.
Troublemakers in the family.
Whatever the case though.
Now.
And it's also in the churches too.
You know.
You got people that.
So always sit up to the front.
You know what I mean?
They always have to have their first two rows.
Right?
You know.
The butt kisses of the church.
I like to put it.
Right?
Half of them think.
Holy thing.
Dawao.
Then you get the people who sit out in the back because they feel degraded because of the sins they do, but they want to come learn about Jesus, right?
And the people up in front, they think they're more holy.
They think they're more, you know, closer to God and all that stuff, right?
And the person in the back, he's still standing, or she, but they're trying to overcome it.
But they still come because they want to learn the Word of God, right?
Those are the people who need to be helped more.
And the thing is, how much more faith is there than the persons up in front?
Because even though they're going through all those bad things and all that, they're still getting up to go.
To hopefully learn, you know, to learn the word of God, seek God, you know, the hope of God.
So that faith must be a lot stronger than the holy, dead, and undoubted people sitting up in front.
And I hope I explained that right.
But guys, if you don't understand that, you got any questions, comments, or whatever, please put it in the description.
So, it doesn't matter what you've done guys.
And if you live with a bunch of people who are good people, right?
But you've done some bad things, but you don't feel worthy.
You don't feel worthy to be around them.
You don't feel worthy to be on the same level with them as God.
That's what this is saying though, right?
These people have been in church all their lives and all that are, you know, good people, right?
Me, I want to learn, but I've been, you know, been kind of doing bad things, you know what I mean?
Don't feel less than them.
Because you're not.
You're displaying more faith than they are at that point.
This whole chapter explains just that.
No matter what you have done, guys.
Put your faith in Jesus Christ.
And by you doing that, you are stronger and have more faith than the average person.
That believes in Jesus.
Especially if you've been run through the ringer.
Test, trials, tribulations.
You've been, you know, done things in the occult or whatever the case.
You may have done bad things to people and all that stuff.
For you to turn around, okay, to face Jesus and accept Him, that takes more faith than just the average good person.
That's what this chapter is saying.
Like that woman there, she had more sense probably than all those people put together.
But Jesus points out that she had more faith than them because she, you know, she didn't feel worthy.
But there she is, just crying her heart out for Jesus.
And he goes, your sins are forgiven.
Your faith has saved you.
So no matter what you've done, guys, you commit to Jesus right now, drop to your knees, by yourself, all alone, nobody around.
Because the Bible says to pray in secret, right?
Not in the churches or anything, pray in secret.
Go up in your room, shut the door, lock it, drop to your knees before your bed, whatever, right?
And say, Lord, please forgive me for my sins.
I believe in you as the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Messiah.
I believe that your blood shed, it's from the atonement, I'm sorry, for my sins.
And as you say, whoever believes in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
And I believe that, Lord.
And I ask for that everlasting life.
And also, I repent of all my sins.
I want to turn away from all my sins.
Please come in me and save me, Lord.
And just like that, your sins will be forgiven. - Okay.
And because of your faith in Jesus, how did Jesus do that?
That faith you have to do that has saved you.
And Jesus will say, go in peace.
So I apologize today, guys.
I have a little tongue tied today.
