Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com Shalom and welcome to the Dan Badani Show on TruthRadioShow.com And we are doing this comprehensive study of the Bible and we're in the book of Mark chapter 11 So guys if you missed chapters 1 through 10 please check them out in our playlist.
We also did the series of Mark and also Jude.
So guys what we do before you begin we have a specific bible study approach we go by Number one is we pray for wisdom and understanding.
So let's do that right now bow your heads guys And pray yes you with jesus messiah, please forgive us for our sins and trespasses And we come to you, Heavenly Father, we ask you in your name to disseminate the information to us and then reveal all the information, the context you want us to know from the book of Mark chapter 11.
And we ask you to send the divine Holy Spirit upon us, Lord, to teach us the correct way and to not only not only understand it, but let you interpret the word for us so we can fully understand it.
And we ask you in your precious name, Amen.
So we also, guys, we read description as context.
So we're not just going to read through the Bible, we're going to read through it and also examine what these, what the context is, what words are and everything else, so you fully have a grasp and understand what the scripture is saying.
And context is key, guys.
So you need to read description in context, because context is key.
And let the scripture interpret scripture.
So don't lean on your understanding, lean on the understanding of the Holy Spirit.
And what the Word has to offer us.
So, today we're getting, again, Mark Chapter 11.
So, we left off with Chapter 10, which was an amazing chapter.
Jesus explained how important children are.
In other words, we need to be like those children, then, to the Kingdom of God.
And also, that nothing is impossible with God.
It's impossible with men, such as when He was saying for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, There's more of a chance of that happening than a rich man going to heaven.
But he also says that sounds impossible to man, but not impossible to God.
So it doesn't mean that you're rich, that you're going to go to hell or anything.
If you use that money wisely, you know, just like you do work for the Lord.
You know what I mean?
And it's possible.
You know what I mean?
And we use his faith and everything else.
Anything's possible in the Lord.
And, you know, Jesus continues to heal people and everything.
So let's get into Mark chapter 11, and then continue on here.
And when they came, Nye, into Jerusalem, unto Bethphage in Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, And he sent forth two of his disciples.
And he said unto them, Go your way into the village over against you.
And as soon as you enter it, you shall find a colt tied to a never seen man's head.
So loose him and bring him.
So he's giving the specific instructions to the apostles to do this.
And so there's two of them here.
And if any man say unto you, why do you do this?
So, and they went to their way, and they found a colt tied to the door in the place where the two ways met.
And they loosed him.
So they found the colt that he was talking about, which was like a donkey.
And so they untied the donkey, whatever the case.
And a certain of them that stood in there and said upon him, why do you, why'd you lose the coat?
Why'd you untie the coat?
Then they said it to them, even as Jesus has commanded, as they let him go.
So they told him that Jesus needs the skull.
He commanded us to come do, you know, take the skull.
And so they were like, all right, take him.
They brought the cult to Jesus and cast their garments upon him and sat upon him.
So in many spread their garments in the way and others cut down branches off a tree and stride them in the way.
So and they went before and they followed crying saying Hosanna blesses the coming of the name of the Lord.
So basically they brought the There's a cult there and they lay down the garments and all that and straw and all that to, you know, worship Jesus.
And it says, And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, he entered into the temple, when he had looked around about in all things, and now eventide was come, talk about the evening come, so they looking around now, it's getting late.
And he went into Bethany with the Twelve Apostles.
So, they went into the temple, and when he looked around, basically upon all things, it was getting late, so they ended up going to Bethany with all Twelve.
And on the morrow, they came from Bethany, and he was hungry.
So now, you've got to pay attention, it's coming up, yeah.
So this is very significant, uh, what he's talking about here.
So, and so they're not hungry, whatever, and they've seen a fig tree.
This is very important guys.
And seeing a fig tree, uh, far off having leaves, they came and, uh, happily, he might find anything there on.
And when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves for the time of figs was not yet.
So now like really pay attention to this.
Because this is also, um, he's using this as like a symbolic way of talking about Israel.
Because Israel is also known as the fig tree, yeah.
So, and uh, so in Jesus, and he's doing this for a reason.
He went upon the street for a reason.
To show them something.
Because Jesus used parables and all different things to demonstrate what he was talking about.
So they come upon this fig tree, right?
There's no figs on the tree.
There's leaves there, but there's no figs.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, it says, said unto it, I'm sorry, the tree there, no man eat fruit of the tree hereafter or after.
Excuse me, you guys.
So hereafter or ever.
So no one will ever eat the fruit of this tree forever, plain and simple.
And his disciples heard this.
So Jesus is talking to this tree, this fruit tree, this fig tree, right?
And the apostles heard this.
And they come into Jerusalem, and Jesus went into the temple, right?
Now, this is very significant, what he's talking about.
Some people say, why would he talk to a tree?
What does that even mean?
You don't want nobody eating from that tree forever?
He's, and the apostles heard this, right?
He's making an example here.
It's not the actual tree, you know what I mean?
It's about Israel.
You know, the earthly kingdom of Israel.
And they came to Jerusalem, and Jesus went into the temple and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables and the money changers and the seats of them that sold dust.
So he comes into the house of God, yeah?
Now mind you, right?
It's supposed to be the house of God.
And this was when Israel was of God.
And people selling things, doing all kinds of money changing, all kinds of stuff you would find on the flea market or marketplace or whatever.
And Jesus went berserk.
And in the book of Matthew it talks about this too, when he actually started whipping people and everything else.
He was kicking some butt.
Tipping tables over, letting animals loose.
just like when it's Satan, because they're in the house of God desecrated.
And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
So, So he prevents people from carrying anything through the temple after this.
When in there kicks a button, now mind you, the fig tree, right?
It's very important.
He's talking about Israel.
Because they have desecrated the house of God.
So, and he, this Jesus, after he's done with this, he taught Satan to them, He says, it is not written, my house shall not be called of the nations of house of prayer, but ye have made it into a den of thieves.
So he's saying, like, my house, this is the house of God, right?
The temple.
My house.
Because it's not written that you call this, of all nations, a house of prayer, but yet you have made it into a den of thieves.
Now he's ripped.
You know what I mean?
You can't blame him either.
This is called Righteous Anger, guys.
The same Righteous Anger that God made Sodom and Gomorrah disappear.
Sodom and Gomorrah there.
When he rained a fire of brimstone.
And all the other things that happened throughout the scripture.
Yeah, when people purposely disobey God, they turn his house into a house of death.
A den of thieves.
And that's when he's talking about the fake tree.
No more, you know, no man should ever eat the fruit of their earth ever after.
And that's why he prophesies the destruction of this temple because they desecrated it.
They corrupted this house of God.
So, the scribes and the chief priests heard this, right?
And they saw how they might destroy him for they feared him because the people was astonished at his doctrine.
So, as you can see through Matthew and Mark, the scribes and the chief priests, right?
They're doing everything in their minds possible to try to convict Jesus, to try to get him to blast me and everything else, to try to find a way to kill him.
Because they want him out of the way, because he's got a large number of people following him, believing in him, and loving him.
They didn't like that.
Because they wanted to be, you know, teach a dead, you know, doctrine and all that stuff, but they failed to recognize that Jesus was the Messiah.
So they're doing everything in their power to try to get this guy killed, but however, they were afraid of their people.
Because of such of a large following.
That's the only reason why it took them a long time to get something on Jesus to crucify him, coming up soon.
In the book, yeah.
So, yeah.
And when even was come, when the night came here, he went out to the city.
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw fig trees right up from the roots.
Again, the fig tree, right?
There's meanings to this.
And Peter called to remembrance, said unto him, Master, behold the fig tree, which thou cursed and withered away.
So that very tree, the fig tree, when he says, don't eat upon, and he goes, it will not ever get fruit again, and he cursed it, right?
And in the morning, they passed by that same tree, right?
And it was dried up from the roots.
And Peter remembered this.
He said, hey, Master, look, that's the tree you cursed.
It's withered away.
And Jesus answered and said to them, have faith in God.
Now mind you, yesterday they literally went by a fig tree, right?
Jesus literally did this fig tree, but he was pointing out the fig tree being Israel.
So verily I say unto you, that whoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, In other words, if you have faith you can move mountains.
Remember the Matthew?
The Faith of Mustard Seed?
Have faith.
Believe it will happen and it will.
Have faith in Jesus.
you can move mountains.
Remember in Matthew, the faith of a mustard seed?
Have faith.
Believe in it will happen in the will.
Have faith in Jesus.
Believe in it will happen in the will.
And Matthew says, if you have faith of a mustard seed, yeah, you can move mountains.
So therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that he received them and he shall have them.
Now this doesn't mean if you desire millions of dollars and a parental car, that's not what he's talking about.
Because people, you know, the prosperity gospel, which is a satanic gospel, they'll use this verse.
To say, oh, you can have anything you want.
Yes, it's whatever thing you so desire, but it's gotta be, you know, of God, you know what I mean?
It's something that's in God's will, whatever the case.
You can't say, oh, I want to be a millionaire, whatever the case, or dumb things like that, you know what I mean?
So basic stuff that you need, you know what I mean?
And yeah, that's why, you know, don't give up faith.
If you need money for food or rent, whatever the case, the Father will provide.
Just have faith.
And when you stand in prayer, forgive if you ought to against any.
So that the Father also, which is in heaven, may forgive you for your trespasses.
So once again, going back to the book of Matthew.
Now the book of Matthew is much larger, more chapters than Mark.
But Mark lays out the bullet points.
Because Mark, this is Mark's testimony.
You know what I mean?
And Matthew's a little more in-depth.
But we learned about this in Matthew.
So, in other words, if you have any aggressions against people, this is saying to forgive them.
Because if you don't forgive, no matter what they've done to you, how evil they've done to you, whatever the case, if you don't forgive them, the Father's not going to forgive you.
And it says right here, from Jesus himself, he says, But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive you for your trespasses.
So we just started the show with a prayer, right?
We asked him to forgive us of our sins and trespasses.
And he said he'll forgive us, but right now, if you haven't forgave somebody for the bad things they've done to you, dig back as far as you can, if you've never forgave that person, whatever the case, you had hate and resentment toward them, you never forgave them, you know?
Your trespasses and sins are not going to be forgiven, unless you forgive them.
So, next time in prayer, try to remember all the people, and if you can't remember everybody, just say, Father, I forgive everybody.
You know what I mean?
And you'll feel a huge weight off your chest.
This is a big lesson, yeah.
And I know, I mean, this is very touching, okay?
And I'm not gonna get into the details of certain people, but, you know, it's like, it doesn't matter what's happened to you.
It could be the most horrific thing, right?
And people say, well, it's easy said than done.
I forgive somebody.
Well, yeah, it is.
But forgive them.
You don't have to hang out with them anymore.
I mean, you don't have to go hang out with them or be buddy-buddy with them.
Just forgive them.
Wash your hands from it.
Say, alright, you know what?
I don't care.
I forgive them with all my heart and soul.
Just forgive them.
You feel... I'm telling you, you feel the biggest weight off your chest.
And you will be forgiven in heaven.
Remember that, right?
Because he says, once again, If you don't forgive, I'm not going to forgive you.
Because here's the thing, too.
It doesn't matter what these people have done to you, right?
Just think of the stuff you've done.
Right now, every one of us deserves help.
Bottom line.
If our Father in Heaven, for the stupid things we've done, for the evil things we've done, the ridiculous things we've done, right?
If our Father can forgive us through Jesus, right?
Why can't you forgive that person who's done something bad to you?
I don't care what it is.
Forgive them for it.
And again, like I said, you don't have to be friends with them or anything like that.
Just forgive them, you know, let it go.
And all your things will be forgiven in heaven.
So they come again to Jerusalem, and as they're walking in the temple, there comes to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders.
So here we go again, you know what I mean?
Every time Jesus came to somewhere, there's the scribes, the priests, and the elders.
All these are there to try to coerce Jesus to say something wrong, so they could have something against him.
I mean, this is just relentless, you know what I mean?
Jesus is going around with this great doctrine, preaching to people and everything else, people love him, but the Jews at the top there, they don't like that too much.
No, I'm not anti-Semitic, so, you know what I mean?
I'm just saying that at the time, these people, they didn't like him too much.
They talk about the priests, the scribes, and the elders, right?
So, and they said unto him, Again, they all, you know, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Jesus and saying to him, and asking him, by what authority do you do these things?
And who gave you this authority to do these things?
Now, he said many times, the Father has given me this authority.
Talk about Heavenly Father God, right?
But anyway, I love what Jesus does, right?
Well, every time, because He knows they're trying to incriminate Him.
That's what they're trying to do, right?
So He knows that.
So, He answers them back with an ant question, right?
I mean, He hears Jesus answer them, and says to them, and asks them, right?
I will ask of you of one question, and answer me.
And I will tell you what authority I do these things.
So basically, if you answer my question, I'll answer yours.
So he says, John the Baptist, right?
The baptism of John, I'm sorry, right?
Because John was baptizing people.
Was it from heaven or of men?
Answer me.
So, John the Baptist, you know, he was baptizing people.
Baptized Jesus as well, right?
So he's asking him, does he do the baptism itself?
Is it from heaven or just men?
And they reasoned with themselves, you know, all gathered together, saying, all right, you know, let's discuss something, yeah?
Let's discuss this first before we answer him.
And they're saying, if we shall say from heaven, he will say, why did they not believe me?
Believe in him, right?
So now they're saying, but if I say, we tell them it's a man, Then they fed the people for all men counted John that he was a prophet indeed so didn't know that he put the Scribes and first I'm sorry the scribes and elders and the priests on a spot Yeah, so like you don't mind you there's a multitude of people watching us, right?
He's they're gonna be huge audience.
So now like oh crap We don't want to how do we answer him if we say it's of heaven and He's gonna say back to us, why then did you not believe me?
Believe in him, I mean.
When John the Baptist said this was in heaven.
The baptism comes from heaven, that's what John the Baptist said, right?
So if they would've answered that it came from heaven, right?
Jesus would've told them, why then did you not believe him?
When he said it the first time, right?
But if he said if it's a man, they fear the people, because all of them love John.
So they fear backlash from the people.
Because John was a prophet indeed, right?
So they answered and said unto Jesus, we cannot tell him.
Now Jesus already knew this.
He already knew everything ahead of time, right?
So they answered to say, no, we can't tell him.
We don't know or whatever, you know?
And Jesus answered and said to them, neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Answer my question, because here's the thing, right?
The way, I love why Jesus did this, right?
He asked the questions that would throw it right back at them.
They're trying to put Jesus under the spotlight, throw him under the bus, right?
And Jesus responds back with his question, back as an answer, right?
And now the question, no matter which way they answer it, yeah.
If they answer, yeah, that was the baptism of heaven, they have no choice but to believe, right?
But if they say it was a man, now they're gonna feel backlash from the people, you know, like, the multitudes of people will literally, like, attack them, you know?
So like, oh, crap, you know, alright, we don't know, you know, we're not gonna answer that.
And Jesus said, well, guess what?
I'm not gonna answer you either.
I'm not gonna tell you by what authority I do these things.
Because that was the main question.
What authority do you do this?
By whom?
You know, of course we know it's by the Father, God.
So we get more into this and um...
Chapter 12, and I just wanted to go over this because this is pretty cool, you know what I mean?
And once again, you know, it's just everywhere Jesus goes, He gets a lot to gather and everything else, does a lot of great things and all of a sudden, here comes the scribes, the priests, and the elders, always there to try to... And they try to, again, they ask Him in front of everybody.
I mean, when everybody's there, you know, listening to Jesus and all that, they'll come to Him then, To try to make a public example out of Jesus.
But Jesus, you know, it's amazing how he just turns their questions back at them, puts them on a spotlight, and then, yeah.
It's amazing how he does that.
And you've got to see this is a common theme.
But again, Jesus knows that they are going to put him to death.
He already prophesied that.
But again, it's on God's timing, you know what I mean?
So if they, you know, the elders and all that had it that way, Jesus would have been dead a lot sooner.
But it wasn't the time yet.
So this is amazing how, and you notice how he's talking about the fig tree, right?
Very significant with the fig tree, because fig tree is Israel.
God's Israel, well, at the time, God's Israel on the earth.
Israel today is more of a spiritual thing.
Not necessarily the nation of Israel.
Because God, when He establishes His kingdom on the part of the earth here, that's going to be His spiritual Israel.
The fig tree is mentioned.
Matthew 24 brings up the fig tree again.
Every time you hear things about the fig tree, you talk about Israel then.
Amazing stuff, it really is.
So, uh, you know, thank you for joining us for this chapter.
Yeah, it was kind of short.
So, uh, yeah, just, uh, pretty cool stuff.
But yeah, it's like chapter, uh, 11, whatever, you know, a short chapter, but a lot of context in it.
