Declaring war on the New World Order.
truth radio show dot com and welcome everybody to the damp and dining show on truth radio show dot com We are on to the gospel of Mark chapter 6 in this in-depth comprehensive study.
So guys, like always, we like to do is a biblical study approach as number one is we pray for wisdom and understanding.
And we do that right now and we bow our heads and pray to you Yeshua Messiah Jesus that you forgive us for our personal sins and to make us clean and whole before the Father.
Father, we come to you asking you once again To help us with understanding your precious words, have the Holy Spirit teach us everything that the Scripture has to offer us in Mark chapter 6 today.
To help us fully understand the context of the Scripture.
In your heavenly name, Amen.
And we also guys, we read the Scripture in its context, we don't just read through this, we read it in context.
In other words, we stop, we examine what words mean, we examine what the context is saying.
So, that's why it's an in-depth comprehensive study.
So, read the scripture in its context, because context is key.
That's very important.
And let the scripture interpret the scripture.
So, when you think you possibly don't understand something, you keep reading and it interprets itself.
There's no need to interpret it, because it's clear as day.
And that's how the Holy Spirit works.
So, a million people can read through the Bible, and not a million people are going to get it.
We go through this all the time with the, you know, people claiming to be Bible scholars and all that.
They'll read through it.
You know, almost everybody reads the Bible, but it doesn't mean they know it.
The Holy Spirit is the only one who can teach you that.
You know, you're plain and simple.
So let's get on to Matthew.
I'm sorry, I keep saying Matthew because our last series was Matthew.
Mark chapter 6.
So we left off in chapter 5, where there was a lot of spiritual warfare going on.
Jesus, um, exorcised 2,000 demons in the name of Legion out of one man.
And made people astonished by it.
So, um, very, very interesting stuff.
So, let's get into more of this, guys, because this continues.
So, now, did Jesus still continue?
And also, by the way, he went to, um, in Mark chapter 5 there, he helped one of the heads of the synagogue's daughters.
12-year-old girl, and he brought her back to life.
So, as we go on, Mark chapter 6 here, and he went out from the house there where he healed the little girl, right?
And he came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.
So, after this whole ordeal, Jesus healing this girl, the 12-year-old, to bring her back to life, right?
He left the house and went into his own country, and the disciples followed him.
And when the Sabbath day was to come, the Sabbath day came, right, which is a Saturday, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From thence hath this man these things?
And what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
So people at this point, like, this guy's preaching in the synagogue, right?
Things that, like, You know, you didn't learn the Torah and all that stuff, right?
Yeah.
It's like, wow!
And he's doing these mighty works.
What manner of man is this, you know?
That's what they're pondering, right?
And is this not the cop and his son?
The cop and, I'm sorry, the son of Mary?
The brother of James and Hosea's?
And Judah and Simon?
And are not his sisters here with us?
And they were offended by him?
Remember guys, offended really didn't mean the way it means today.
It's a different time when the King James Bible was written.
So, but Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own kin, in his own house.
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he had laid his hands upon a few sick folks and healed them.
And he marveled because of their unbelief, and they went around about the villagers teaching.
So he went back to his home country, and like he, you know, you figure a great prophet would be adored by his own people in his own country, right?
Nope!
There's a lot of people there without faith.
And then, you know, I wanted to point out too, right?
Jesus had sisters.
We learn this in Matthew, and we'll learn it in this era again.
And you gotta remember too, guys, this is the whole thing with Mary, too.
A lot of people think that Mary died a virgin.
Yes, she's a blessed mother, but the Bible, we read in Matthew chapter 1, right?
The Bible says that she consummated her marriage after Jesus was born.
She was a virgin, yes.
She was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, yes, as a virgin.
When Jesus was born, she was at work, right?
After Jesus was born, the Bible clearly states that she and Joseph, her husband, had sexual affairs, you know, had sexual relations.
And it's rightfully so, it's her husband, you know what I mean?
It's not a disgrace to Mary.
So that's where the sisters came from.
And we know that Joseph had some children, but he didn't have all these people.
Now check this out, right?
So Mary, the carpenter, right?
Which is Jesus, right?
The son of Mary.
That's him, right?
And the brother of James, Hoseas, and Judah, right?
And Simon.
So he has four brothers there, right?
And sisters.
They don't say how many sisters he had.
And we discussed it toward the end of Matthew too, when Jesus told people that, you know, you could be my brother and sister too, because they came to see him.
And the apostles said, hey, hey, your brothers, your family's here.
And he goes, well, so, you know, not in a bad way, but so, you know, they're nobody, you know, in a nice way saying they're nobody special.
You know what I mean?
They're, they're my mother and some brethren and all that, but you could be my brethren too.
You know what I mean?
So anyway, but Jesus said unto him, a prophet is not known without honor, but in his own country and among his own kin and in his house.
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he had laid hands on only a few people that were sick and healed them, right?
And he marveled because of their unbelief.
And he went around about the villagers teaching.
So when he called up unto him the twelve, which are the apostles there, and began to send them forth two by two, and gave them powers over unclean spirits.
Now, alright, Hang on, let me get to this in a second, yeah.
"...and commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save staff, or no script, or no bread, no money, or any press." So, don't take nothing, just go.
Alright?
So I want to point this out to our Catholics, brothers and sisters, right?
They think, um, let's do it again.
Alright.
They think, alright, Jesus gave, which was true, right?
Jesus gave the apostles powers, okay, to forgive sin, To heal people, to cast out demons, right?
He did this, for a short time.
Because at this point right now, there was everywhere he went, there was just multitudes of people.
He would spend days in one area, just to help all those people, right?
He needed help!
So he sent them out to my show, to spread out and go spread the gospel.
But the thing is, the apostles didn't keep these powers.
They weren't permanently installed upon them, only for a short time.
Just to get the gospel, and after Jesus was resurrected, that was it, it was by faith now, not by works.
Faith that people would believe, and that's why today, you don't see people walk around healing and doing all this stuff, because they, you know, Jesus wants you to believe by faith.
And that's what the Catholics say, well the priests have a right to forgive the sins and all this stuff, no they don't.
The Catholic Church had nothing to do with these people.
The Catholic Church came 300 years after Peter Roy died.
Over 300 years.
They had nothing to do with these people at all.
And they want you to believe all day, all the apostles passed it on to the fathers, church fathers, and the church fathers passed it on to the priests.
No, that's not how it worked.
They were only given these powers for a certain limited time.
And again, he called on to the apostles, the twelve, and began to send them forth two by two and gave them power over inclined spirits.
And as we learned in Matthew, they also had powers to heal and forgive sin for that short time.
And commanded them that they should not take nothing with them, plain and simple.
No bread, no food, no money, no clothes, nothing.
Just go.
And be shy with sandals and not put on two coats.
So just go.
What you got on now?
Make sure you have your sandals on.
Go.
Plain and simple.
And he said to them, in what place whatsoever you shall enter into, a house, there abide till it depart from that place.
Right?
So in other words, if you go and somebody invites you to sleep over, you know, crash for the night or some food, take it.
And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, When you depart, then shake the dust from on your feet for testimony against them.
Remember the last two chapters?
It was chapter four.
Talked about the sower.
That's what he's talking about here too.
Plant the seed.
If they don't want to take it, you know what?
Hey, depart from them.
Shake off the dust on your feet for the testimony against them.
Plain and simple.
And verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in that day of judgment for that city.
So if they cast you out, and they don't want to hear what you have to say, you know what?
Yeah.
You know what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah, right?
I mean, uh... Fire and Brimstone, yeah.
And he's saying it'll be more tolerable... In other words, what's going to happen to the city is going to be nothing compared... I'm sorry, what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah is going to be nothing compared to what's going to happen to the city.
For turning your way and not hearing your word, right?
Yeah, Sodom and Gomorrah will be a walk in the park compared to what's going to happen to them.
That's what he's saying, right?
And they went out and they preached that men should repent.
You know, repent, turn away from sin.
You don't hear this word in the churches today.
Especially these modern day dispensational churches out there.
You rarely ever heard the word repent.
Oh, just believe in Jesus, you can do whatever you want.
That's not what the Bible says.
Repent means turn away.
Rebel away from your sins.
You know what I mean?
So, and they cast out many devils and anointed with many, oiled with many, I'm sorry, that were sick and healed them.
And King Herod, again this is what the apostles talked about, they went around casting out devils, anointing people with oil that were sick and healed them.
So when King Herod heard of them, right, he heard of Jesus, for his name was spread abroad.
Everybody's talking about Jesus now.
He did this, he did that.
And King Herod's like, alright, what's going on?
And he said that John the Baptist was risen from the dead and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves within him.
So they take Jesus as John the Baptist resurrected.
That's what's going on.
Another said that it's Elias.
Another said that's a prophet, is a prophet of one of the prophets.
Has one of the prophets, right?
So people now there's all kinds of hearsay going on, right?
Is it John the Baptist resurrected?
Is it the prophet Elias?
Or is it other prophets?
Try to figure out who Jesus is, because he's the talk of the town.
And King Herod, that's all he's hearing about.
And King Herod, you know, him being the king, yeah, he's a little jealous, okay?
Because they're not praising him, they're not worshiping him, they're not, you know, talking all about King Herod.
So he's hearing everything about Jesus, so he's getting a little jolt.
So, anyway... But when Herod heard thereof and said, it is John whom I had beheaded.
He is risen from the dead.
So King Herod has got his mind set that this is John the Baptist walking around healing.
I mean, they walk around healing people and doing all this stuff.
They think Jesus is John the Baptist.
Well, King Herod does, right?
So for Herod himself, And we learned about this in detail in the Book of Matthew.
She wanted his head and he gave it to her.
him in prison for Herod's sake, his brother Philip's wife for he had married her.
And we learned about this in detail in the book of Matthew.
She wanted his head and he gave it to him.
King Herod had John the Baptist beheaded.
For John had said unto Herod, it is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
So it was all about jealousy because, yeah, King Herod wanted his brother's wife, right?
And John the Baptist said, no, it's not lawful to do that, you can't do that.
So therefore, Herodess had a quarrel against him and would have him killed, but she could not.
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and unholy, and observed him.
And when he had heard him, he did many things he had heard loudly.
And when the covenant day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains and chiefs of states of Galilee, and when the daughter So this is a plot, this is going back a little bit now, right?
This is explaining what's going on.
So again, Jesus is running around doing all these amazing things, right?
People, he's the talk of the town, right?
So everybody's like, who is this guy?
King Herod's like, he's convinced that this is John the Baptist that he had killed.
He thinks it's John the Baptist that, you know, risen from the dead, resurrected, right?
So now they're talking about, you know, before, how John the Baptist was killed, right?
So she told King Herod, I want John the Baptist's head.
And sure enough, yeah, that's what happened.
for my kingdom, right?
And she went forth and said unto her mother, what shall I ask?
And she said, the head of John the Baptist.
So she told King Herod, I want John the Baptist's head.
And sure enough, yeah, that's what happened.
They beheaded John.
And she came in a straight way with the hassle unto the king and asked, saying, I will, that don't give me in my charger, the head of John the Baptist.
So I want John's head, plain and simple.
And they chopped his head off.
And the king was extremely sorry.
Yet for his oath's sake, and for the sakes of which sat with him, he would not reject her.
So yeah, I guess the king was like, yeah, he knew how powerful John the Baptist was.
He, you know, how much of a holy man he was.
He was just, he was, you know, without blemish.
In other words, they couldn't find nothing bad on that man.
Just because he told King Harry, yeah, you can't marry your brother's wife.
So she was so upset, the mother or whatever.
Oh, I want his, I want his head.
Kill him.
So, and again, it says that King Herod was exceedingly sorry that he had to do this, but, anyway, and immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought.
And he went into the, beheaded him in prison.
Because my, you know, John the Baptist was already in prison, right?
So, and he brought his head in the charger, which was a container, and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother.
And when the disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse and laid him in the tomb.
So if you know what John the Baptist says, John was a great, great prophet, right?
He was the last before Jesus of these great prophets to come.
After Jesus, there's no more prophets, guys.
And we know in Islam, they say, Muhammad's a great prophet.
Jesus prophesied it, but no, he didn't know such a thing.
When Jesus talked about another, he was talking about the Holy Spirit, not Joseph Smith, like the Mormons like to think.
Not Muhammad, like Islam, the Muslims like to think.
No.
There was no other after Jesus.
John the Baptist, right?
Great prophet, right?
And he said, there's going to come one greater than me, as we learned in the Book of Matthew, right?
And that greater one is Jesus.
Which is not just a prophet, but the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Messiah.
There's none after him, guys.
So don't let any of these religions confuse you with that.
When they tell you, oh, Jesus spoke of John, I'm sorry, spoke of the coming of Joseph Smith, spoke of the coming of Muhammad, he did no such thing.
The one he talked about, which we're gonna get to as we go on, right?
When he spoke about when he was leaving, when he was crucified and rose up from the dead and ascended to heaven, he spoke of another teaching.
He was talking about the Holy Spirit to replace him.
That we could call upon the Holy Spirit for teaching, as we just did, to learn his word.
So he was talking about the Holy Spirit, no people, you know, no other prophets.
So anyway, verse 30.
And by the way, guys, if you're reading this, I apologize, I forgot to tell you.
unto Jesus, and told him that all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.
And by the way, guys, if you read this, I apologize, I forgot to tell you.
If you listen to this on audio version, please open your own Bible.
I'm using the King James Bible, but you can see it on screen, but if you're watching on a video edition.
But if you listen to an audio edition, please open your own Bible, because it's very important for you to read it for yourselves.
So, you know So and he said unto them calm yourselves apart into the desert a desert.
I'm, sorry a desert place in other words like a place out in the middle of nowhere and rest awhile for there will come I'm sorry, for there were many coming and going and they had no leisure so much to eat, right?
So let's just go somewhere, okay?
Let's get a pot.
Because there was people everywhere, you know what I mean?
Let's just go somewhere remote, you know?
You know, a desert place.
You know, somewhere remote.
Just for a while, so we could get some rest, you know what I mean?
And get some eat.
So, and they departed into a desert place by a ship traveling.
So they just took off and went to a private place, right?
And the people saw them depart, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all the cities, and out went them, and came together unto him.
And Jesus went, yeah.
And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, many people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd there.
So he began to teach them many things.
So Jesus, like, he's like, all right, let's just go somewhere private, right?
Let's get away for a little bit, you know, so we can get some rest and something to eat, right?
But when Jesus came out of the shepherd, thinking this is a desert place that he saw so many people and the compassion moved him, you know, he's like, all right, I'm going to help these people.
And they were like sheep without a shepherd, you know, without a leader.
And when the day was now far spent, this is now is like the day just spent, right?
And his disciples came to him and said, this is a desert place and now the time is far past.
So send them away that may go into the country roundabout and into the villages and buy themselves bread for they have nothing to eat.
So, let's say, just send them away for now, so, you know, tell them to go get some bread and all that, you know, go get something to eat, you know, the days, like, uh, you know, spent, you know.
And he answered and said to them, give them something to eat, yeah, give ye them to eat, give them something to eat.
And they said to him, shall we go and buy two hundred penny worth of bread and give them to eat?
So yeah, at the end of the day, they spend all that, and they're that hungry.
Everybody's hungry, right?
And the apostle's saying, oh, just go send them away so they can go buy some bread.
Jesus goes, no, no, no, no.
We're going to give them something to eat.
Go give them something to eat.
And the apostle's like, well, hold on.
Shall we just go buy all this bread?
In other words, we're going to have to buy a lot of bread, right, to feed all these people.
And they said unto him, Jesus said unto them, How many loaves do you have?
Go and see.
And they went and knew, and they say, Five loaves of bread and two fishes, right?
Mind you, there's a load of people there.
As Book of Matthew says, a multitude of people.
That could be hundreds or thousands.
So, They reported back to him and said, well, you know, we already got five loaves of bread and two fishes.
I mean, realistically, that's not even enough to feed, you know, them.
The twelve apostles of Jesus, right?
But we already got five loaves and two fishes, right?
And he commanded them to make... Everybody sit down by companies upon the green grass, so... And they sat down in ranks by hundreds and by fifties.
All right, so we're looking at hundreds of people.
Well, so...
And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed, and break the loaves and gave them to his disciples to set before them, and the two fishes divided among them all.
So he got hundreds of people, it seems, probably more than that, only five loaves of bread and two fish.
But Jesus blessed them up to heaven and broke them apart.
And they all ate.
And they were filled.
Imagine that?
Hundreds or without... It seems like hundreds it says, right?
Hundreds by fifties, right?
Lots of people.
Hundreds of people.
All fed off that.
Now the cool thing is, check this out, right?
And they took the twelve loaves of... I'm sorry, the twelve baskets full of fragments and the fishes.
So after everybody was done, right?
Five loaves of bread and two fish, right?
Jesus broke them up.
First of all, blessed them.
Broke them up to be handed out, right?
And all these hundreds of people ate.
They ate until they were full.
So they went around taking up the fragments.
In other words, the leftovers, right?
And they took up 12 baskets full of fragments of bread and fish.
That's crazy!
Out of five loaves of bread and two fish, that's amazing.
After hundreds of people ate, they ended up taking up the scraps, the leftovers.
12 full baskets of this food.
And they did eat, the loaves were about 5,000 men.
Alright, so 5,000, right?
This is where it confirms, because I like how the description interprets itself.
So we're sitting here trying to figure out if these are hundreds or thousands of people.
You know, they're about ranks.
Hundreds, 50s, so I thought it's hundreds, whatever.
So right here, it's confirmed.
Rest 44.
There were about 5,000 men.
5,000.
That all ate.
The 5,000 men, the 12 apostles and Jesus, right?
All ate, orphaned.
Five loaves of bread and two fishes.
Now if people who, you know, just regular people in the world, they're like, oh that's impossible.
Would they take a little fragment, a crumb each?
But again, the scripture says that he blessed the food up to God, to heaven.
And they collected 12 full baskets of fragments, of leftovers.
5,000 men, that's crazy.
That's awesome.
In a straight way, he constrained his disciples to get to the ship and go to the other side before, into Bathsheba.
While he sent away people.
So they're like, alright guys, You eat now, so go your way, we're going to go our way.
So, and he sent the people away.
And when he had sent them away, he departed into the mountain to pray.
And when evening was come, evening, it's called evening, you know, in the nighttime, the ship was in the midst of the sea and he alone on the land.
So in my view, like, Jesus went up in the mountain, the apostles departed in the boat by themselves, right?
You know, Jesus went to the mountain, they just departed into the water, right?
So, and when he, when the evening came, the ship was in the midst of the sea.
I mean, right in the middle of the sea, crossing over, right?
And he was alone on the land.
Jesus told them, get in the boat, go, I'll, I mean, he must have said, I'll meet you there, or something like that.
He goes, just get in the boat and go.
I'm going to go up to the mountain for you, I want you to cross over, right?
So you want to understand the setting of this, right?
So the evening came and the ship went in the midst of the sea.
It wasn't in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land.
So, and then he saw them toiling and rowing.
And the wind was contrary to them, and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking on sea, and would have passed them by.
We got past them.
So, this is crazy, right?
So, Jesus, yeah, they already departed.
They're out in the sea, right?
Jesus is up on the mountain praying, right?
Now, they're in the middle of the sea and the winds are toiling and everything else, right?
And here they see Jesus walking on the water.
How, you know, how did he catch up to us?
He didn't take no boat or anything, you know what I mean?
So, could you imagine the minds of the apostles right now, right?
They got this toiling sea, and all of a sudden they see this figure walking on water toward them.
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit and cried out.
They thought it was... They didn't know what it was.
They didn't recognize Jesus.
It's night time, you got the torsion sea out there, and you see this one person walking on the water.
So like, you know, they were just astonished.
And I think everybody here would be astonished, too.
You know what I mean?
Like, you're in a stormy sea, and all of a sudden, you take Jesus up on a mountain because you left him at the landing.
What is this walking toward us?
And again, he told him, he said, don't, you know, don't be afraid, be of good cheer.
It is I, be not afraid.
And he went up into the ship, and the wind seized, and they were sore amazed at themselves beyond measure and wondered.
So immediately, as soon as they got back on the ship, the wind seized and everything calmed down.
For they have considered not the miracle of the loaves, for their heart was hardened.
So they forgot about the miracle of the loaves. .
Yeah, quickly.
They see Jesus, they lost faith, but they didn't know it was Jesus.
You know what I mean?
And that toilet seat and everything.
And this guy said, he was like, didn't... Didn't you forget about the... Did you forget about the miracle of the five loaves and two fish?
Or five thousand... You know, whatever.
Three thousand... Whatever it was.
Five thousand people.
And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Garsala.
Genesar.
I hope I pronounced that right.
And drew to the shore.
So when they come out of the ship, straight away they knew him.
And, you know, at the time they crossed over, right?
It was probably in the morning hour or early afternoon.
They crossed over and they came out of the ship and straight away they knew, the people knew, well, this is Jesus.
And they ran up to him, through the whole region, around about, and began to carry about in beds those who were sick and where they heard was.
Heard was, you know, a number of people, right?
So they were carrying people, like, on beds to bring them to Jesus for them to be healed.
So immediately coming off the boat, there's a herd of people.
Coming out to meet Jesus and they were carrying other people on carts or beds, whatever, for them to be saved, you know, healed.
So, with every soul he entered into villages and cities or country, they laid the sick in the streets and besought him that they might be touched if they were in the border of his garment.
And as many as touched him were made whole.
Then it continues on to chapter 7.
But this is amazing right?
Just imagine a multitude of people come off this boat.
People greeting you.
There's tons of people carrying people that are sick.
And they wait them all on the street for them to touch them.
Or for them to touch his garment.
Just to be healed.
Really amazing, really is.
And this continues on to chapter 7, which we'll get to in the next series.
So, we're doing chapter by chapter, one at a time.
So, that's how we do it.
So you understand it's context.
So, what an interesting chapter this was.
I mean, a lot of stuff going on in this chapter.
This is why it's important to read this stuff in context and fully understand this.
And if you guys have any questions on this, please, by all means, go into The chat, I'm sorry, the comment section, leave a comment and ask me the question.
And there's going to be a live chat when this premieres.
But if you want me to answer the question, put it in the comment section, please.
And this way I can answer the question for you.
Or if you want to add something to it, or whatever the case, or you think I missed something, please, by all means, put it in the comment section.
Not the live chat, but the comments.
And use the live chat, guys, for fellowship.
And any questions, comments, whatever, please ask me in the comments section.
So you need to trust the real plan, guys.
That's the Bible.
Nobody else's plans.
Don't trust the catechism.
Don't trust the Book of Mormons or the Koran or the Watchtower or any of that garbage, guys.
We're supposed to go by sound doctrine.
Not Doctrines of Men or Devils.
But Sound Doctrine is a Bible only.
And don't take my word or anybody else's word for it.
You need to read it for yourself.
This is very important.
You need to do this.
