Declaring war on the New World Order.
TruthRadioShow.com And shalom and welcome everybody to the Damodani show where we are doing an awesome in-depth comprehensive study of the book of Matthews.
So if you're looking just to hear the Bible guys, you're at the wrong place.
What we do here is we do a comprehensive in-depth study of the book of Matthew.
We did the book of Jude as well.
You can find all this in the archives in our playlist.
So, uh, Chapter 11, uh, we went through Chapter 1 through 10 already, and if you missed it, guys, it is in the playlist.
So, we'll go on to Chapter 11.
Like always, we encourage you to open your own Bible.
And what we do again is we do an in-depth, comprehensive study and try to go through the verses and pick out everything we can to fill context.
So, this is what we do here.
We got a three-step approach of a Bible study.
So, number one, we pray for wisdom and understanding.
And number two, we read the scripture in context, because context is key.
Something many churches, unfortunately, lack doing.
And we let the scripture interpret the scripture.
Not myself, not you, not nobody else, but the Holy Spirit.
Let the scripture, on its own, interpret it, because the Holy Spirit will work through us.
So we start off with an awesome prayer to Lord and Savior Yeshua, Messiah Jesus Christ.
We ask you, Jesus, that you can forgive us of our sins and trespasses, Transgressions and anything evil or bad we may have done today, Lord, please forgive us once again.
And Lord, Heavenly Father, we pray unto you, to your kingdom, Lord, and your throne, that you could send us the divine Holy Spirit within us, Lord, to teach us, your divine teacher, your divine comforter, to teach us your word and to help us understand the context in the Scripture.
So that being said, guys, we encourage you guys to open the Bible for yourself.
And that's, again, we're going on to chapter 11.
So if you don't have a Bible, guys, we've got it right on the screen here.
And if you're listening on the audio edition, guys, again, you can open up another tab.
You can open up your own Bible, whatever you have.
We encourage the King James.
Or older, that's what we encourage.
We're kind of frowning upon newer Bibles, but however, whatever Bible you got, guys, hopefully that'll be sufficient enough.
So open that Bible up, guys, for yourself, because what we do here is we like to encourage, guys, for you to read the Scriptures for yourself.
I can't express how important that is.
And it's not just, you know, let the Scripture interpret Scripture, but you need to read it for yourself.
Don't take anybody else's word for it, but read it for yourself.
So let's go on to chapter 11.
And this chapter, I mean, 1 through 10, we kind of zip through with a lot of clearance and all that.
This one I had a little, gotta be honest with you, a little hard time understanding all the context of this.
Because again, it's, you know, the King James and all that.
Sometimes it's a little hard, but if you take your time, you can understand it.
So however, chapters 1 through 10, we've seen the birth of Jesus in the flesh.
Jesus came in the last three chapters.
He went around healing people.
And chapter 10, he's like, you know what?
The end of chapter 9 going into 10, he's like, you know what?
Because his fame got so popular and people started coming out of the woodwork to be healed, to have people that were possessed come to him so he could save them and everything else.
And so what Jesus did, okay, he had to recruit the disciples, as we learned about that in chapter 10.
And when he called upon them, his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast out demons, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
So he did this and had them all travel together now.
Because of the multitudes, his fame was getting very, very popular throughout the land.
So he gave the disciples temporary these powers, or gifts, if you want to call them, to go around and help people to spread.
Now you've got 13 people, Jesus and the 12 disciples, going around in different directions now.
So you're getting 13 times the miracles and the healing and casting out of unclean spirits and demons and all that.
So just to spread the gospel through the land and just to bring witness to Jesus Christ.
So we move on to chapter 11.
When he said, It came to pass when Jesus had made the end of commanding his 12 disciples, he departed then to teach and preach in their cities.
So, So, this came to an end, as you can see, in chapter 10 we just talked about.
He gave them these powers, if you will, against this stuff.
Temporary, just to spread the gospel, you know what I mean?
And this came to an end, as it's saying.
So now, this is afterwards now, and now John had heard, now at this point John was in prison.
So now when John had heard in prison the works of Jesus, so he sent two of his disciples and said unto him, Out thou art shall come, or do we look for another?
So are you going to come or will you look for another person?
And Jesus answered to them to go back and tell John those things which you hear and see.
He said, listen, John doesn't really know what's going on.
He's in jail.
He's like, are you coming or is there another person?
What's going on?
He sent two disciples to contact Jesus because John's in prison.
So Jesus answered them to go back and tell John That those things which you do here and say, tell him what we're doing.
Tell him what we're doing when you go to here and say, you know what I mean?
So, he goes on to say that the blind, we've gave them sight.
We've made the lame walk.
We've made the lepers cleansed.
People with skin disease and all that.
And the deaf now hear.
And the dead have rose from the grave.
He rose the dead from the grave.
And the poor have the gospel now preached on to them.
Blesses he whoever shall not be offended of me.
So as they departed, so now again, if you want to put this narration, that again, John's in jail, so he was asking, what's going on?
You know what I mean?
So he sent two disciples, asked Jesus, Jesus just told him all that, said, listen, this is what we've been doing.
So, again, they departed, the two disciples went back to tell John and stuff.
So Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, because they were asking, where's John?
And, you know, where's John?
Where's John, right?
And so Jesus told them, what went ye into the wilderness to see?
A reed shaking with the wind?
But when you went forth out to sea, a man clothed in soft raiment?
What are you looking for, basically?
Behold, that they wear soft clothing, who are kings and kings, you know, they live in king's houses, you know what I mean?
And what went ye to go see?
What are you looking for?
A prophet, he's asking?
Yea, yea, I say it to you, I am more than a prophet.
You know, Jesus is more than a prophet.
He's the Son of God.
So, this was all concerning John.
Now, you know, Jesus is not ditching, dissing John there.
He's just telling him, saying, listen, you got me.
Don't be concerned about John.
That's what he's saying.
And he's saying, whoever shall not be offended by me, you know what I mean?
You got to be blessed.
So, and he goes on, you know, he's saying, you know, I'm much more than a prophet.
Then he goes on in verse 10 and he says, For this is he, talking about himself, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
And verily I say unto you, among them that are born of women, there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist, notwithstanding he is that the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
So yeah, he's acknowledged John was a, you know, John the Baptist was born great, a great person.
But, isn't Jesus not greater than he?
Because everybody's concerned in John, you know what I mean?
And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffered violence and violent take by force.
And for all the prophets of the law prophesied until John.
He's talking about all the prophets up to John.
Now, when Jesus came, people don't understand, right?
When Jesus came, alright, that was the end of ascending prophets.
Because he said all the prophets in the law prophesied until John.
And they talked about John, and they talked about the Messiah.
Jesus came, and it put an end to the prophets.
So technically, Jesus was the final prophet, but Jesus is more than a prophet, because he's the Son of God, the Son of Man, in the flesh.
And he says, if you will receive it, this is Elias, which was for it to come.
In other words, I was prophesied to come.
And he who has ear, let him hear.
But where unto you, shaken like this generation?
It is like unto children sitting in the markets and calling to their fellows.
So he's like, you know, again, where unto shall I liken this generation?
So he's explaining how, he talked in parables so people could understand.
So as he said, he says it's like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to their fellows and saying, we have piped unto you and you have not danced.
So in other words, they play music and nobody's dancing to it.
We have mourned unto you and you have not lamented.
So nobody's paying attention.
In other words, he's saying, You're acting like a bunch of kids, alright?
You're doing this, that, and the other thing, and nobody's paying attention to you.
And he goes on to say, For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say he's a devil.
For the son of man, talk about self, came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a man, gluttonous and a wine-bibber, a friend of publicans and sinners, but wisdom is justified of her children.
So he's telling them Damascus, okay?
And then began he to upgrade, I'm sorry, the cities wherein most of the mighty works were done because they repented not.
So he had to go to the cities, guys, just show, yeah, I am the Messiah by doing all these miracles works so people would believe him.
And And a lot of people didn't repent.
You know, even seeing the miracles of Jesus, they didn't repent.
You know what I mean?
So, woe unto thee, Charazon.
Woe unto thee, Bethesda.
I'm sorry guys, I'm probably butchering these names here.
For it is muddy at works, for we're done in you.
It had been done in Tyre and Sedan.
These were two Mesopotamian cities that were under judgment.
And they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Okay, you know what I'm saying?
Hey, listen, it's like, remember Tyrian, Tyrian Sidon?
But I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Tyrian Sidon, the city's heir, at the day of judgment than you.
Talking about the people who didn't repent and all that stuff.
Yeah, who have not repented.
Because he's gone and did mighty works for people, right?
We're done, right?
And people didn't believe him.
So he's going out to say, listen, it's like... Yeah, uh... This is a serious warning here.
It's going to be more tolerable for the people from Tyree and Sidon.
And the Day of Judgment than for you.
That's some serious stuff, guys.
So if you read on, you know, the Old Testament about Tyree and Sidon.
Those were cities under the judgment.
And verse 23 here says, And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shall be brought down to hell.
For it is the mighty works which have been done in thee had been done in Sodom.
Sodom, I'm sorry.
And it would have remained until this day.
But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for thee.
So talking about these cities, man.
Now you got three cities you just mentioned.
You got Tyree, Sidon, and um... I say four cities.
I'm sorry.
You got Tyree and Sidon, Capernaum and Sodom.
Four cities that face judgment and not even counting Gamora.
And so he's saying, listen, it's like it's gonna be more tolerable for them and we know what happened to those cities.
Fire and ashes and everything else destroyed their cities, right?
So he's saying, listen, it's gonna be more tolerable for them than for you in judgment.
Because you're seeing my works!
You're seeing what I'm doing.
I'm God in the flesh.
I'm doing this in front of you, and yet you still deny me.
And this is how I talk about the Jews, guys.
I'm not anti-semitic, I'm just saying.
The Jews who are denying him.
That mainly, that's who he's talking about.
In that the time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and thus revealed them unto the babes.
Even so, Father, for it seemed good in thy sight, and all things are delivered unto me of my Father, and no man knows the Son, but the Father.
Neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he who is whoever, the Son, will reveal him.
So a little twisty here.
So nobody knows the Father like him.
Because him and the Father are one.
You know what I mean?
And the Bible describes that.
And the Father knows the Son better than man.
You know what I mean?
So, yeah.
So come unto me, all of you, that labor and are heavy laden.
And I'll give you rusty sanus, okay?
He's giving these guys warning, right?
This is where it's going, right?
He's warning these people.
Listen, it's like, you're concerned about John at school, right?
Yeah, but, I, look at me, I've done all these miracles and everything else, and I've, you know, proved that I am the Lord, you know, God in the flesh, I'm the Messiah.
And a lot of these people are not, you know, repentant to him, you know?
And he's giving warnings about four major cities that stand for heavy judgment by God.
Tyre, Sidon, Sodom, and Capernaum.
And he said it's going to be more tolerable for them than you.
Because you see, these people didn't see the Messiah.
You see me, you see what I've done, and you still deny me.
And Jesus went on to say, You know what this is saying?
heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent and has revealed them unto the babes.
You know what this is saying?
He's given this revelation unto people, the average progression out there, instead of the elite, that's what they talk about, you know, like the wise, the kings and all these people, the prudent, the people rich and powerful, all that.
No, he's revealing this stuff to the babes.
In other words, the people, the folks like us.
Even so, though, he says, Father, for so it seemed good in thy sight.
And he goes again, all things are delivered unto me of my Father, and no one knows, no man knows the Son, but the Father.
No one knows.
No Neither do they know any man the Father, save the Son, and he whosoever the Son will be revealed to him.
So now, after all the warnings he's just given these people, right?
Here he is, okay?
He proved number one with the miracles, all the things he's done in front of everybody, right?
And some people deny it and say, alright, these are the warnings.
I'm gonna tell you right now.
You've seen it, so I don't mean to repeat myself.
But...
These things that set up a harbor of faith, okay, is gonna be more tolerable in hell, I mean, in judgment, than you.
Because you've seen the stuff, you know what I mean?
So, now, now, okay, once again, He's offering salvation right here to people.
He's saying, right in verse 28 here, So, if you come unto me, all that labor and are heavy laden, I will give you rest, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart.
And you shall find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
So this is just a, you know, what an amazing, amazing being, you know what I mean?
Our Savior, our God in the flesh.
That's a time now.
Now he's in the spirit and lives forevermore.
After all that, they denied him.
You know what I mean?
And he warned them and he's still offering.
Hey listen, guys.
It doesn't have to be this way.
You know, I don't want you to suffer in hell.
I don't want it to be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah or whatever the case.
In judgment for you.
Come to me and I'll give you rest.
I'll give you... I'll take the burden off you.
You know what I mean?
Take my yoke and learn of me and I am meek and lowly and hot.
In other words, he's... Yeah, meek like he... Loving.
Forgiving.
And you'll find rest unto your souls.
You don't have to burden no more.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, we're gonna... Yeah, we're always gonna struggle in life.
That's not what that means.
But in your soul, knowing that you are going to be with the Lord when your time has come.
That's such a blessing thing.
Or either he comes nowadays.
If he comes before we die, yeah, either way.
You know what I mean?
You don't want to be here for judgment.
Plain and simple.
And for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
So... Again, just after all that stuff, just offering the salvation and forgiveness unto the masses.
