| The plan is all part of Operation Sentinel and is detailed in today's New York Times. | ||
| The proposal is part of a multi-million dollar plan to secure Lower Manhattan. | ||
| It includes cameras, license plate readers, and radiation detectors. | ||
| They would be set up at seven vehicle crossings, the Brooklyn Battery, Holland, Lincoln, and Queens Midtown Tunnels, also the George Washington, Henry Hudson, and Triborough Bridges, and also smaller bridges like the Willis Avenue and McCombs Dam Bridges. | ||
| It is unclear exactly when Operation Sentinel would be complete, but the Lower Manhattan Initiative, part of the plan to secure the city's financial area, is expected to be in place by 2010. | ||

| The Fairness Doctrine was an FCC regulation mandating broadcasters afford time to opposing viewpoints. | ||
| It was abolished in 1987 by the Supreme Court after it was found to be harmful to journalistic freedom and anathema to the First Amendment. | ||
| Now, they were able to carry this out because there was no really independent media in the 80s. | ||
| In the 70s and 80s, only a few dozen newspaper owners, less than a dozen TV network owners, and so they were already playing ball, and they said, oh, there's a law you can't even have a guest on who says, I'm against gun control, because then you have to give opposing time to someone who's for gun control. | ||
| And it was all selectively enforced. | ||
| Now this ties into them trying to shut down the web, tax it, regulate it, end net neutrality. | ||
| Again, that cocktail of ways they're doing this, and there's political correctness If a child draws a picture of their dad, the Marines with a gun, he's arrested. | ||
| If the valedictorian on the last day of school brings a cake to their teacher for an after-school party, and the security guard walks in and there's a plastic box of Dixie knives, forks, and spoons, she's arrested. | ||
| I mean, there's hundreds of those cases. | ||
| Again, it's already there with the young people who can't defend themselves and have no idea about liberty and freedom. | ||
| The young generation, the younger generation, is already deeply under this. | ||
| And they're trained how to tattle on their parents, how to spy on their parents. | ||
