In late December 2012, a number of very obscure blogs were starting to propagate the theory that victims and survivors of the shooting at Sandy Hook were actors. They are basing this off a website run by a theater group called Vision Box, who offered crisis actors for hire. They offered experienced actors who could improvise within the framework needed for the drills that they would be included in. This isn't anything new. They were usually called role players in the past, and they've been used in these sorts of situations forever. The only thing that was different about this, it seems, is that the name was new, Crisis Actors.
