All NASCAR garage doors had pull-down ropes, proving the noose was not a hate crime.

And then you get somebody like this NASCAR individual, Bubba Wallace, who got caught within hours knowing that all those garage doors had those pull-down rubes on them and that they weren't nooses. One of them was and that been there for years. And I typed his name into Google this morning and I saw hundreds of headlines praising him and praising NASCAR and saying that this is a real threat and that he's right. It's probably still a noose.

Alex Jones fabricated details about the NASCAR incident to fit his narrative that hate crimes against non-white people are a hoax.

So Alex is reporting a factually inaccurate version of this story because he's trying to solidify his argument that all hate crimes directed at non-white people are a hoax. It very well may be the case that this wasn't an instance of a hate crime, as it appears not to be. There are concrete fabrications that Alex is making up to be able to report this story as something in line with his own narratives. The first is that all of the garages had the same pull-down rope. This is specifically refuted by reporting on the story that reflects that the guy at the garage who first reported the noose checked the other garages before saying anything to make sure it wasn't something that all the garages had and he'd misrepresented or misunderstood. Alex is making this up, that it was in all the garages.

The object found in Bubba Wallace's garage was a noose.

The issue here is that people are definitely still saying that, and they're right. It's a noose. It's 100% a noose. I've looked at it. Yes. It's a noose. You bet. The lie that Alex is engaging in here is pretending that people are out of line for that assessment. If you go and look at the pictures that NASCAR themselves released, that's a damn noose. It might as well be in the board game clue for noose.
