There are irresponsible elements in the fake news media who are recycling this notion that I had either advance notice or some involvement in the illegal acts of January 6th. I spoke at two legally permitted events on January 6th. I did have a voluntary security detail from the Oath Keepers, as did all of the other speakers at that conference. They were courtesy of those running the legally permitted events. The fact that I came in contact with these individuals proves nothing.
