The Florida Elections Commission required Patrick Bergy to pay a fine for neglecting to file his campaign treasurer's report.

On June 9, 2005, the Florida Elections Commission filed a default final order requiring Bergie to pay an assessed fine from his campaign that he had neglected to pay. According to findings of fact in the order, the Respondent's campaign treasurer's report was not filed with the filing officer on the designated due date. On April 18, 2005, he was sent a notice that he needed to pay $202.50 or appeal the decision within 20 days, and he didn't either.
