The hardening of the inner core of Earth's magnetic dynamo strengthened the magnetic field, which allowed for the Cambrian explosion and the formation of eukaryotes.

To look at that paper carefully, I looked at the time in Earth immediately before the Cambrian explosion. And that's when I found that this neoprotozoic era, we almost lost the magnetic shield. And what happened for us to get it back? The inner core of the magnetic dynamo hardened, and this defragged the rest of the dynamo. And what did it do? It strengthened the magnetic field so much. That allowed for all these things that happened at the Cambrian explosion to occur. So, what did it do? It led to a great spike in oxygen. It led to a great change in actually how light could affect things on the planet. And that means bacteria and archaea were able to come together to form eukaryotes. And this was something called endosymbiosis. So, it appears that the magnetic dynamo was the incident. That drove a lot of these problems.
