Gail Slater was fired for refusing to dismiss antitrust cases against big tech and pharma.

So, Gail Slater is a real deal antitrust. Comes from a, you know, she worked for Senator Vance, then went in. What was happening was the various illicit mergers, bad monopolies that are taking place in big tech, big pharma, big ag, you name it. She was wanting to prosecute. So she brought in a bunch of people with her, including a well-respected tenured professor for 30 years. Then what happened is Pay-Per-Play Pam was they would go, they would hire Mike Davis or Arthur Schwartz, pay him millions of dollars. They would go to Pay-Per-Play Pam and say, dismiss this case, approve this merger, dismiss this antitrust case. And what was happening is Gail Slater and the people within that, it's now publicly reported, said, oh, no, no, no, this is a violation of the law. This is against what the president wants. This is against what the vice president runs. This is against what we campaigned on. We're not going to be corporate whores in the Justice Department. We're not going to turn into a cash register. They were so Pam Bondi was so enraged, she fired everybody, everybody that was underneath Gail Slater.

Gail Slater is stepping away from her position as AAG for the antitrust division at the DOJ.

Gail Slater, who is running DOJ's antitrust division, just announced on X that she is stepping away from her position. Now, this is a massive, massive loss. In a post, she said, it is with great sadness and obviously abiding hope that IA will be leaving my role as AAG for the antitrust division.
