And I am very happy and honored to have Kim back on the X22 report.
Dementia's Pervasive Impact 00:07:41
Spotlight, Kim, welcome back to the spotlight.
Oh, thank you so much, Dave.
It's good to be back.
Hey, thanks.
Thanks for being back.
And what's very interesting is that RFK Jr. and President Trump, they've been changing the entire health industry.
And we've been stuck in a certain way of thinking for a very long time.
And we've been, you know, looking at the food pyramid in a certain way, vaccines, food, you name it.
They've told us certain things about all of these different products.
And now RFK and President Trump, they're kind of reversing everything that they have been telling us.
And what's very interesting, and I just saw this the other day, President Trump, he was talking about milk and he was talking about cognitive ability.
And it feels like he continually brings that up.
Oh, I passed my cognitive test.
I wonder if every other politician can do that.
And they're saying, oh, milk helps with your cognitive ability.
And what we're seeing right now is dementia.
I mean, Alzheimer's, and we'll discuss that in a little bit, but we're starting to see that increase among those, you know, 30 to 50 years old.
And it's, you know, people are starting to realize.
And I think the population is getting a little bit older now and people are starting to see certain things.
I mean, is this what you're seeing now?
Is things that you've been looking at since you've been dealing with health for a long time?
Is this what you're seeing?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, you know, the whole thing about milk, they pulled out the fat, you know, with the whole milk going away.
And fat is what helps our brain, you know, to a large degree, especially when you're a growing child.
And, you know, you're right.
Dementia rates are increasing among 30 to 54 year olds in the United States.
There's 55 million people worldwide, Dave, that are living now with Alzheimer's or some other form of dementia.
And, you know, I'm 71 and I've been focused on my brain health and doing everything I can to keep it healthy for years.
But so many people didn't realize how important your brain health is.
But it doesn't just affect older people.
The early onset Alzheimer's, it's now affecting, as you said, the people in their 30s and 40s.
And there's actually reports that are showing spikes, such as a 373% increase in diagnosis among 30 to 44-year-olds and a 311% increase in 45 to 54-year-olds, just in the United States alone in recent years.
Now, why do you think this is?
Do you think it has to do with food?
Do you think it has to do with vaccines?
Do you think it's a combination of all these things?
I think it's a combination of so many things that they've thrown at us that have been incorrect, told us what to do, the big pharma, all these, you know, the poisoning of our air, the poisoning of our foods, all these things that, you know, they've been doing for many, many years.
And it's no wonder that it's an entirely opposite what RFK Jr. is telling us now compared to what it's been over the past 50 years.
I mean, I don't know personally anyone with dementia.
I mean, I think on my wife's side, her great-grandparents, there was someone that had it.
I mean, do you know, have you experienced this before?
Yes, yes.
And, you know, it's a sad state of affairs.
I mean, I can tell you this story about a lady from Wisconsin.
And it's so heartbreaking.
I mean, her name is Rhonda Sutherland from Wisconsin.
And this really, her story paints a picture of what happens to someone that deals with early onset Alzheimer's.
I mean, she was this perfectly normal, wonderful wife, mother, teacher, and she was just vibrant and full of life.
And at 52 years of age, she suddenly starts to show this sign of decline.
And she would like keep repeating herself and asking, what time is it?
What time is it?
And her husband finally realized that she'd actually lost the ability to read a clock.
And by the time she was 54 years old, there was this dramatic change in her appearance and the way she looked.
She was almost unrecognizable.
And after only a few years, she essentially lost almost all of her cognitive function.
And it's incredible to see the change that happened in two years.
It was like she aged 25 years in just those two years.
And then just before their 40th wedding anniversary, her husband realized that it was really no longer safe for him to care for her or for her to stay at home.
And he had to commit her to memory care.
And then finally, her brain is shutting down enough where she's forgetting to eat.
She's forgetting to swallow.
And this we're talking about is a very tough battle.
I mean, she was only 66 when she died.
And so this was, you know, over a span of, what, 12, 14 years, which was a very tough battle for not only her, but her family.
And, you know, this is just one of millions of horrifying stories of loss because of this disease.
And it must be very difficult for people because, you know, one minute they know who you are.
The next minute they don't know who you are.
They're forgetting things.
They get lost in certain places.
So for families, this is actually very, very tough.
Very tough.
And especially, you know, if you're going to be the caregiver.
It's just, and you've lived with this person your whole life.
You know, they've been vibrant and aware.
And it's just, it's tough to see somebody decline.
Is there a difference between dementia and Alzheimer's disease?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, so many people conflate the difference between dementia and Alzheimer's.
Dementia is the broad term for a set of symptoms like memory loss, impaired thinking, and behavioral changes that are going to interfere with your daily life.
But Alzheimer's, that's the disease.
That is a specific and progressive brain disease that's responsible for dementia in 60 to 80 percent of cases.
And that's caused by the damage and death of brain cells that have been mutated due to sticky protein buildup.
And what general dementia and Alzheimer's disease have in common is they are both driven by inflammation and oxidative stress.
Oxidative damage triggers the neuroinflammation in the brain.
And then that releases more damaging reactive oxygen species known as ROS.
And those are comprised of free radicals and non-free radicals.
Now, these ROS are very pervasive as the cells are mutating.
And then this leads to neuronal death, synaptic dysfunction, and the formation of Hallmark plaques.
I mean, the most recognizable and common of them is amyloid beta.
Now, this ultimately is going to cause cognitive decline and memory loss.
And interestingly enough, Dave, inflammation and oxidative stress are also the main drivers for the risk of development of cancer cells.
So let me ask you this.
Do you think Joe Biden had a form of dementia or Alzheimer's that they were covering up?
Oh, big time.
Yeah.
Big time.
Yeah.
I think he had it for a long time and it just kept getting worse and worse and worse.
Yes.
I guess they were just using drugs or whatever just to, I guess, keep him in a certain state.
The Power of Fermented Foods 00:15:48
I would think so.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, that's what it looked like to me.
And I think the rest of the country, except for the news, the news kept saying he was fine.
So that's very, very interesting.
Well, we know whose side the media is on.
We know who they're working for.
Absolutely.
What's very interesting, I mean, we started off, you know, talking about food and things like that and dementia and RFK.
And RFK actually took the entire food pyramid.
And I guess it's no longer a pyramid because now it's upside down.
So basically, he's changed everything that we know about food.
Now, again, food can be good.
Food can be bad.
I mean, there's food that's, you know, chemicalized and they put a lot of crap in it.
And that's, you know, bad food.
And then you have the healthy food that's really good for you and that helps you out.
But he changed everything around.
I mean, what do you make of him changing the entire food pyramid around?
Oh, I think it's totally great.
I mean, RFK Jr. and the HHS department, they made the much needed changes to these dietary guidelines because, you know, turning that pyramid upside down, that was the wrong way to eat because we have been indoctrinated over decades to avoid fats, proteins, and eat more grains.
The last several decades have shown us that they're one of the least healthy things because of all the ultra-processing and because of all the glyphosate they pour on the grains.
And then now sugars completely disappeared from the chart.
And the updated food pyramid is now reflecting what we've learned about dietary health in the last 50 years.
So you might not see it by glancing at the chart, but a major influence of the updated dietary guidelines was the inclusion of fermented foods, especially kimchi.
My daughter, she eats kimchi.
Now, kimchi has a certain smell to it.
And one time she had it in the refrigerator, and the smell from kimchi was terrible.
But she likes it.
She likes eating it.
She's a health nut.
So she likes eating that food.
But again, for those people that there are certain foods that you smell and you don't like and things like that, and there's other ways to take it.
And I know kimchi is very good for your gut, very good for your health.
And I think the food is connected to diseases.
Food is connected to dementia.
I think food is connected, just like vaccines the opposite way.
The drug is actually causing those things.
I think certain foods that we're eating today is also causing these problems.
Well, Dave, can I tell you?
Sure, sure.
You know, the gut-brain access, let me tell you.
What we eat, what you're saying is true because what we eat has a tremendous impact on our cognitive health because we have a gut-brain access.
And it's amazing because this gut-brain access is kind of like a highway, if you will, between your gut and your brain.
And it involves nerves like the vagus nerve, your hormones, immune signaling.
This is where they're constantly sending messages affecting your mood, digestion, stress, and even your cognitive function.
Now, these gut microbes that are in our gut, they play a significant role in this crosstalk.
And people think, you know, you've got just one brain.
Well, you actually have two brains because your gut is your second brain.
It actually talks to your actual brain via that highway.
And it's going to influence everything from anxiety to appetite.
And so often I've seen when doctors are targeting brain diseases, what they do is they prescribe a medication in an effort to directly target the brain.
And that's not the root cause.
They're targeting the symptom, which is in the brain.
The root cause is in your gut.
And so you can't cure the problem if you address the symptom.
And so the gut is so important because you have to have that balance of good and bad bacteria in the body.
And there's been a stunning scientific breakthrough that's reshaping actually what we know about Alzheimer's disease because this study came out where it showed that researchers took healthy rats and simply by transplanting gut bacteria, it turned them into unhealthy rats that had Alzheimer's.
So this is pretty stunning.
And so it really does show what we put in our body, eat or consume, is directly going to determine the state of our health, whether it's our brain health or any other place in our body.
So what does, I mean, you mentioned fermented foods.
What is the fermented foods?
What do they do?
How do they help you?
Well, fermented foods have been around forever.
Actually, what is a fermented food?
For those people who are in the bottom of the bottom.
A fermented food starts like, let's say a Dell pickle.
People all know that.
Or cabbage turned into sauerkraut.
Fermented foods started, you know, back when they had an overabundance at the harvest.
So they had to make these stable so they could have something to eat during the winter when food wasn't growing.
And then they found out that as they eat these things, and you mentioned kimchi.
Kimchi is the king of fermented foods, and I'll tell you why in just a second.
But it was to store these foods so they would have something throughout the winter months and the beginning of spring before they could eat the other things that were growing.
So these fermented foods, as they ferment, they develop different bacteria that are healthy and promote the health of our own good bacteria and take away the terrain of that in our gut that is for, you know, the viruses thrive in, the other microbes, bad microbes like fungus and yeast and molds.
And so by eating these good fermented foods, it takes away the terrain for the bad guys and increases the good guys in our gut.
And what I'm so excited about is the U.S. government has officially designated kimchi as a health food for the first time.
And even though this is the first time that the American government is acknowledging kimchi as a crucial health food, it's not the first time RFK Jr. has expressed the importance of kimchi in his diet.
I mean, he went on Fox and Friends, the morning show, and literally said that kimchi changed everything for him.
And I heard from a friend that he actually carries a jar of kimchi with him when he goes out to restaurants.
So this is very, you know, very exciting that we have the head of the HHS loving kimchi.
So, I mean, like, do you know like some of the things that he's saying that it helped him with?
Oh, yeah, he said on Fox and Friends, he said, you know, I mainly eat meat and I eat fermented foods, especially kimchi, and it's changed everything for me.
So he hit the nail on the head because, again, kimchi is the king of fermented food because, you know, the thing about it is it's just so rich in all these good bacteria.
I mean, I hear so often from people, I'm eating sauerkraut or I'm eating yogurt, and I don't need to eat kimchi because I have other fermented foods in my diet.
But here, let me tell you something: sauerkraut only has 28 different probiotic strains in it, which may be a lot more than probiotic supplements or other, you know, fermented foods, but it pales in comparison to kimchi, which contains 900 plus.
And again, sauerkraut's going to have some benefits for your health, but there's a clear reason why all of these studies, and I mean massive amounts of studies, have been coming out over the years about kimchi and not about other fermented foods.
So RFK, he's right on the money to promote kimchi.
So what does kimchi or the fermented foods, how does this help you?
Like, does it fight viruses?
Does it fight diseases?
Does it fight cancer?
Like, what does it fight against?
Everything you just mentioned.
I mean, let's start with cognitive benefits.
There's a groundbreaking study that's titled Bioactive Compounds, excuse me, in Kimchi improved the cognitive and memory functions impaired by amyloid beta, you know, that I spoke of earlier.
And it showed that it had the dramatic effect on the brain health.
Kimchi had this dramatic effect.
Now, amyloid beta is a protein that's found in the brain, and it is the key marker for Alzheimer disease.
And then Alzheimer's develops when these amyloid betas clump together, form this cloud of sticky plaques, and they don't go away naturally.
So kimchi comes in, and it demonstrated the ability to improve cognitive abilities, not only like memory or performance, but actually emotional health with things like depression and anxiety because it's preventing oxidative stress, inflammation, and brain cell death.
And then kimchi as a cancer preventative, remember, these are the same drivers that led to an increased cancer risk, which is why I wanted to point out another study that measured the potential of lactic acid bacteria that is in kimchi.
It's found in kimchi to prevent cancer.
Now, this study Using kimchi to prevent cancer, it concluded, and I actually quote now: the antibiotic-tolerant probiotic presented in kimchi suppresses expression of carcin-activating enzymes and possesses many other health benefits,
such as suppression of growth and development of pathogenic bacteria, intestinal regulation, and immune boosts, especially the WC-Biara and the L. plantarum that's found in kimchi have many effects like anti-inflammatory, immune modulating, and blood cholesterol-reducing activity, which may account for their cancer preventative and anti-cancer potential.
So, this is very similar to like, I mean, it doesn't do the same thing, but very similar to like turmeric.
You take turmeric and it helps with sore muscles.
Kimchi helps with cognitive benefits, cancer preventative, and things like that.
So, we're starting to see that the foods that they've been trying to hide from us for a very long time, they're actually a benefit to us.
And we don't have to take the drugs, we don't have to take the vaccines, we don't have to do all these things.
And I feel that RFK right now is trying to tell everyone, slowly but surely, that these are the foods that you need to be healthy.
You don't have to take this drug that the pharmaceutical company is saying that you have to take.
Yeah, he's saying eat real foods.
Turmeric is real food, it's a root, and it's great for things.
But kimchi goes so beyond, so beyond turmeric and even heart health.
Turmeric is good for your heart health, but kimchi goes way beyond that.
I mean, you know, cancer is the second leading cause of death in this country, but heart disease is the number one cause of death.
And kimchi has also shown a remarkable variety of health heart benefits.
I mean, numerous studies show that consuming kimchi is going to lower triglycerides, blood pressure, LDL cholesterol, and even blood sugar.
It actually can control that due to its fiber, its probiotics, and its low sugar content, because that helps to slow the glucose absorption.
And it's also improving your insulin sensitivity, and it supports that gut health, like I said.
So, it's crucial for diabetics or even people with pre-diabetes.
So, you can see it just covers just about every area.
And, you know, one of the most major contributing factors, Dave, of heart disease is obesity.
And kimchi has actually been shown in many studies to reduce the risk of obesity and promote smaller waistlines.
It actually boosts your metabolism, it reduces your appetite.
And there was even a study that showed kimchi reduced body fat when you ate it every day by 31.8%.
I mean, that's huge.
Those are big numbers.
So, for those people that, like, let's say have diabetes or they have heart problems, they're going to the doctor, they're on certain medication.
Does kimchi help reverse what they have?
Or do you have to take it ahead of time not to get a heart, you know, not to get the heart problem, not to get diabetes?
I mean, of course, eating right and other foods, things, but does kimchi assist in reversing the, I guess, the disease or the illness that you have already?
Well, again, all our gut, all our health starts in our gut, or all our sickness starts in our gut with that imbalance of bad bacteria and good bacteria.
So, yes, no matter what stage you are, unless you're, you know, one foot in a grave, and maybe even then you could turn yourself around.
The key thing that the pharmaceutical companies, the doctors, everybody didn't want us to know that RFK is putting right in everybody's face right now is eat real food.
And why do you do that?
Because you're going to nourish your gut microbiome.
Going to with the real foods like kimchi that has all these beneficial bacteria are going to go down there and there's going to be a war and the and the good guys are going to win.
We have a war from birth going on between the good and the bad guys in our gut.
And when those bad guys grow more than the good guys and they overpopulate, that's when you see heart disease, brain problems, diabetes, obesity, all these things.
It all starts in the gut, Dave.
And so, yes, you can turn your health around by eating real food like kimchi.
And you know, we created a product called Kim Chi One because there's, you know, so many things out there.
There's a multitude of studies that have shown the dramatic positive health benefits that come when you consume kimchi on a daily basis.
And the, you know, the daily consumption is key to getting the results.
You can't just eat it now and then or once in a blue moon.
But that's why we went ahead and created kimchi one and we put it in capsules because people are used to taking capsules.
And their American taste buds and the American nose sometimes isn't great with Asian foods.
And so when you take it in capsules, the kimchi went in capsules, you're not dealing with the taste, the smell.
And again, if you make homemade kimchi or you buy it from the store, it's very high in sodium.
So people that are on sodium-restricted diets, this is great for them because we virtually have no sodium in the capsules.
100% made in the USA, non-GMO, all natural.
And this is very similar, like I mentioned before, like turmeric, like turmeric now comes in a pill, collagen comes in a powder.
So kimchi, I mean, I think this is just following the same progression as everything else, saying, listen, here, we just put it in a little pill.
It's much easier to take, much easier to carry around.
I don't know what RFK is carrying around, but this would be a lot easier for him to carry around just a couple of pills.
But I think this is what people are starting to do now.
Because again, it's hard to trust the food industry because, like you said, there's a lot of sodium.
They try to mask it and they try to do all these things.
And you having the pure form and having it, you know, right there, it makes it a lot easier for people.
People Don't Get Sick Anymore 00:04:45
Oh, yeah.
We wanted to make it so convenient so that people would actually take it every day and they would start seeing these incredible results because we have so many success stories on kimchi one.
People that had severe gas, bloating, all problems with their digestion and regularity, guess what?
They don't have those anymore.
And people who had problems being sick all the time, their immune system was down.
They don't get sick as much anymore.
They don't get sick at all.
And people who were dealing with chronic fatigue, so many people dealing with chronic fatigue, especially since 2020.
We know what happened then.
Well, now they finally have energy again.
And there's so many people that are telling us about their friends and family who ask them, What are you doing?
You look so different.
You look younger.
You seem to have more energy.
That's happening for people.
And again, people that suffered from symptoms and they couldn't pinpoint where these symptoms were coming from, they're feeling better.
Let's say people wanted to pick up kimchi.
Like, you know, what's the website?
Where do they go?
How do they get it?

Hey, listen, if you're over 40 and planning to retire someday, the window to protect what you've built may be smaller than you realize.
Here's a question most people never ask.
Is your portfolio built for what's coming next?
Many investors in their 40s and 50s discover they have little to no exposure to precious metals.
That means their savings are largely tied to markets, policies, and paper assets with very little protection if conditions change.
As retirement moves from someday to on the horizon, protecting what you have already built becomes just as important as growing it.
