I've been a fan for a long time.
I think I discovered your show five or six years ago and started listening to it pretty much on the regular and still do, man.
You do great work, and I think the way you approach all these subjects wins a lot of food for thought, is the way I'd put it, for your listeners.
A different way to maybe think about what they're looking at.
So it's an honor to be on.
No, thank you for being on it and thanks for listening.
I'm actually kind of surprised that you were.
So let me just start off with your music career and why you decided to go not with the corporate music arena because it seems like those people that get into music, they go with corporations, they go with the music industry.
You decided, you know something, I'm going outside of this.
What made that decision?
So it's important to know that I was a part of that.
Right out of high school.
I mean, I'm 18 years old, going on 19. And instead of going to college, I went on the road playing music all over the United States, Canada, with a group of guys from Texas that had no record deal, no nothing.
And I was playing Holiday Inn lounges and off-brand casinos, county rodeos.
I mean, you name it.
Anybody that had...
A few hundred bucks, we'd go play it.
And my goal was, you know, my American dream was I want to be on country radio.
I want to write number one country songs.
I want to play the Grand Ole Opry.
I want to meet my heroes.
You know, I want to have a big impact in country music.
That was my main drive because I love country music and I love the art of songwriting.
And so through that process...
The band I was with actually got a record deal a couple years into that 200-plus day-a-year schedule we were on.
We got signed to RCA Records in Nashville, and that was the beginning for me.
So that's when I started writing hit songs that would hit the radio.
That band was called Lone Star.
And we sold about 4 or 5 million records right through that period in my early and mid-20s.
And then from then, I moved on and met a guy named Big Kidding.
And we started Big and Rich.
And that's now 20 years.
This is the 20th year since the first release of Big and Rich back in 2005.
And it's been quite a ride.
I mean, a little background on me.
I have a high school diploma.
I grew up in a double-wide trailer in Amarillo, Texas, which is up in the panhandle.
My dad is a full-time street-slash-prison minister.
I never preached in the big churches.
He always took the message out to where the people were.
And so, you know, I grew up lean and mean, but with a lot of constitution and a lot of people with integrity around me and people that didn't back up off of what they believed.
So as the industry kept continuing forward, I kept hitting higher and higher marks.
There was one point, Dave, where I was the songwriter of the year in Nashville.
For three consecutive years, which had never happened before.
And I don't think it's happened since.
I could be wrong, but I was the first one to do it.
And what that basically means is for three years in a row, songs that I wrote got more play on country radio than anybody else's songs in all of Nashville.
So as a songwriter, that is the absolute highest mark you can hit.
And I hit it three years in a row.
So I say all that to say the industry, That's what I worked in.
I dealt with this situation all the time because I was chasing the American dream.
It was part of what I had to put up with to get to where I wanted to go.
A lot of people have similar stories.
But I would say around 2010, 11, right through there, there started to be a shift in the music industry.
The same company, Dave, that owned Hollywood also owned the music industry, including the country music industry.
Those companies are Sony, Universal, and Warner Brothers.
Between those three conglomerates, they have basically 90% of all the artists out there.
And it used to be in Nashville that there were country guys and country girls, people that actually loved country music.
They were, most of them, patriotic.
They really represented the audience that they were signing artists to go sing to.
But that big shift started to happen around 2010 through 2012, and the Nashville record labels began letting go their presence of their labels, the heads of their A&R departments, and they would replace them with men and women from New York, L.A., London.
I mean, they were bringing in...
The leftists of the left into run country music.
And when that happened, I started getting called in to the record label.
I did an interview one time with Sean Hannity and I forget what the subject was, but it was some culturally charged subject.
And a couple of days later, I get called in to the record label and they said, hey, we don't want you doing those interviews anymore.
Keep your opinion to yourself about anything that Would be considered polarizing.
And I said, well, it's not polarizing to me.
It's not polarizing to the people I sing to.
They said, well, we're telling you to stop it.
And so that became more and more intense where it was really becoming a problem.
And I reached a crossroads there, Dave, where I had to say to myself, ask myself a question.
What is more important to me?
My freedom of speech?
My integrity?
Or remaining in the good graces of the music industry that has given me this insane career that I was just telling you about.
And I struggled with that for a couple of years.
And then one day I realized I'm being a hypocrite.
And my two sons, who at that point were probably seven and nine, you know, they were old enough to pay attention to what I was saying and how I was being.
I said, man, these two boys are watching me yell at the TV.
We go, can you believe this?
Talking to my wife.
Look at these people.
They're wrecking our country.
These crazy liberals.
Look what they're doing.
And then I'd throw my cowboy hat on, dress up, walk down the red carpet and play patty cake with the exact same people I was just yelling at.
And that struck me as so hypocritical and so against my family DNA, where I came from and the kind of men and women I was raised around.
And I knew that was setting an example for my sons that someday when they grow up and they run into the same situation, they might look at dad and say, well, what did dad do when that happened?
Well, dad just shut his mouth and kept cashing those checks is what dad did.
So that's what we're going to do.
And I said, yeah, no, that's not happening.
So I turned the corner.
I put my dukes up.
I started booking every interview, anybody, everybody, and talking about.
The most highly charged subjects out there, backing Donald Trump, backing other people that were straight-ahead conservatives.
And boy, here it came.
Record label goes, that's it, we're dropping you.
And so they did.
They dropped us from our record deal.
I got dropped from my publishing deal.
It was all over in an instant.
And at that point, I said, well...
I'm not going to stop writing songs, and I'm not going to stop doing what I do, because that's what I love to do.
That's my American dream.
Just going to have to figure out another way to do it.
Well, you can't get on country radio either, by the way.
Country radio also is owned by the left.
You're talking iHeart, Cumulus, Intercom, Odyssey, all the conglomerates.
There's like four companies that control 90% of country radio.
So I knew I can't get on the radio.
I don't have a record deal anymore, which means that funding and that sales force and marketing team, all that's gone.
So what do I have left?
Well, I've got my friends on social media.
I've got people on big news networks that I'm friends with that maybe they'll shine a little spotlight on my music.
And so I came at it from that direction.
And four of the last five songs, Dave, that I have released, All became the number one most downloaded songs across all genres on iTunes, which is, that's a big feat for a major record label to get that done.
And I'm doing it with no team, other than I have a publicist who'll call people up and go, John's got a new song, he wants to talk to you about it.
That's basically it.
And so, yes, I lost the industry, but what did I gain?
I gained tens of millions of American patriotic...
Real men and real women who I think appreciate the fact that I'm not owned by anybody.
I'm not a politician.
I don't have a record deal.
There's no company that I have my name signed to a contract with anywhere on this earth.
And they know that when I say something or when I sing something, when I put a song out, that it's actually legit and it's actually the truth.
Did the record label try to stop you?
I mean, any of the companies, did they try?
Or even iTunes.
Is iTunes part of the liberal concomplement?
Yeah, I mean, that's Apple.
That's, you know, Apple Music.
Yeah, so when my songs go up and I get into the top five overall, one of the songs just disappeared.
It was sitting at, like, number three.
And I went to check the chart the next morning.
It's just gone.
It goes one, two.
Four.
One, two, four, five, six, seven, eight.
And I went, well, that's odd.
I don't think I've ever seen that before.
So we have to call them.
I have to go on social media and post that picture and say, look at this.
iTunes is basically erasing me off the chart.
I've had that happen.
I've had my videos.
When you post on Rumble, no problem.
You post them on YouTube as well.
They'll shadow ban.
They'll squelch them down.
Don't let people see them.
But I've got friends like...
For instance, Tucker Carlson.
And I had a song called Revelation that I put out last year about the book of Revelation, about end times.
Good song.

And I called Tucker and I said, I've got this really, really powerful song.
I don't even think I'm going to be able to play it on Fox News.
I think the song hits so hard.
I don't even think they'll let me play it.
Can I come on your show and talk about it?
He said, yeah, man.
Come on out.
I love the song.
Let's talk about it.
And that video wound up getting millions and millions of views.
The interview with Tucker had millions and millions of views and was really bigger than anything I could have gotten done had I still had a record deal.
Interesting how God works.
He will cut things off of you and scare you to death when he's doing it.
But then he will rebuild you with new parts that are way more effective and way more durable.
I mean, I use a different example where it's like one gigantic puzzle where you think like you want to go in this direction, but the universe is reorganizing everything.
And you might feel like, oh, this is not going my way, but everything's being reorganized for you.
And then all of a sudden you realize, holy crap, I see the light.
I see why this had to happen this way.
And I think you're explaining the same exact thing.
In the entertainment industry, I mean, this is what I've noticed.
I've noticed a lot of...
These singers, they are all preaching or dressing up like the devil.
It looks like they're pushing evil, satanic cults.
I mean, is this part of the industry?
Are they forced to do this?
Well, let me make this comment.
Nothing comes out in a video or an audio from a major record label that they did not pay for and approve of and oversee.
Does that answer your question?
Because, like I told you before, I could do an interview with some conservative journalist and they're calling me and going, no, no, no.
But then you're seeing videos come out, yeah, where it's open satanic worship, open wickedness, open just dark, literally satanic symbolism and things that they're talking about and doing in these videos.
The artist wouldn't be able to put that out if the record label said no.
The record label said yes, and they funded it, and they promoted it.
So I think that should answer the question.
That is what they want to push into culture, and they're generally pushing it in the direction of young people.
Not pushing it at me and you.
It ain't going to work on us, but if you can get somebody at 12 to 18 years old who's listening to pop music or rap or whatever it is.
They've got a shot at getting that stuff in.
It's almost like the way they do it, it's so hidden in the creases of what they're doing that it's subliminal.
Remember the stories back in the day called backmasking, where they said you could take a vinyl record, like you could take a KISS record and put it on the record player and run it backwards and you could hear messages coming out of it?
I don't know if that was ever proven to be true or not.
But that same principle applies to how they're doing video.
I mean, we've seen Super Bowl halftime shows that were absolutely demonic from beginning to end.
So, yes, that is what you're up against, and that's why I no longer want to be a part of it.
I mean, I guess this is their religion.
I mean, that's the only thing I can think of.
This is their religion, and they're trying to get everyone to move away from God.
I mean, that's the only thing I can think of.
Of course.
Yeah.
Of course, culture has always been that way.
Look at the Roman Empire.
I mean, the Roman Empire, everybody's always said the Roman Empire and the Babylonians and, you know, those ancient empires were the most outrageously, you know, liberal, just anything goes kind of empires.
They were the worst.
And I got to think, were they?
Or has America surpassed that at this point?
Because the things I see going on out in the wide open that they are not ashamed of at all, I can't imagine any nation or empire back in the day being any more in your face with it than this country is right now.
Once Biden came in, I think the people, they saw things that I don't think they ever thought they would ever see, and they just...
Did it right in front of your face.
And now we have President Trump.
I mean, I think that was probably good in a way because it woke a lot of people up and people started to realize, wow, this isn't a conspiracy.
I'm actually seeing it.
I'm seeing it in the White House.
I'm seeing the open borders.
I'm seeing everything that Trump talked about.
But now we have Trump in office.
And how do you think he's doing so far in his first 100 days here?
So if you think about what has he done with the first 5% of his term?
I mean, the report I just saw said that border crossings this year over last year are down, like this month over this month last year, are down 94%.
And you remember Biden saying, there's nothing I can do about it.
I need Congress to act.
I need Congress to act.
I don't have the authority to close the border, which was all a bunch of BS.
It was a total and complete lie because the second Trump gets in, he goes, border is closed.
Porter's closed.
And guess what?
It is closed.
It's 94% down.
And, you know, Secretary Noem is saying, I won't be satisfied until we're at 0% border crossing.
I mean, they are not messing around.
I think what Trump has done out of the gate is nothing short of superhuman.
And getting to know him back in the Celebrity Apprentice days, so, you know, obviously way before he was president, 2010, 2011.
I noticed he was always around.
It didn't matter how early in the morning it was or how late at night it was, and we're working with the show, he's around.
And I remember asking Don Jr., I said, my God, does your dad ever sleep?
And he said, yeah, he sleeps about three to four hours a night, like one in the morning till about 4.30 or five in the morning, and that's it.
And he says, man, if he calls me on the phone at 1.30 and I don't answer the phone, he said, He will rip me up one side and down the other, and then he'll call me back three hours later and go, hey, I need to ask you one more question.
He's always been that way.
Trump is a different animal.
I mean, I don't know that there's any other human built quite like him in the world.
We were discussing this before we went on air, where a lot of the MAGA crowd, I mean, since now that we have Cash Patel as the director of the FBI, Pam Bondi.
As the Attorney General, Kristi Noem, we have Tulsi Gabbard.
Everyone is in place, RFK Jr.
And of course, everyone wants things to happen right now.
And people are saying, where's the Epstein files?
Where are the arrests?

Even to them, even knowing what they knew prior to taking those jobs, I would have to guess they are probably just absolutely overwhelmed by what it is they're looking at.
I mean, are there enough set of handcuffs available to get the amount of people guilty of things that are so horrendous, regular people wouldn't even be able to dream it up?
Do we have enough handcuffs?
Do we have enough jail space?
Do we have enough courtrooms?
I mean, I really think it might be that big.
If you really look at what Cash has done since he got confirmed, I mean, he's done more than the FBI has done in the last four years.
I mean, think about it.
He arrested the top ten criminals, the most wanted MS-13 gang members.
You have to wonder, what was the FBI doing before this?
I mean, were they going after criminals?
What were they doing?
No.
No, they were not going after criminals.
They were going after grandmas praying outside of abortion clinics, and they were going after January 6 people that were let in and waved on through the big magnetic doors that are impossible to get through.
They were terrorizing people that hadn't done anything really wrong.

You know, you talk about MS-13, you now see the press trying to defend or throw shade at the fact that they're arresting high-profile operators in an MS-13 organization.
They're going, well, how do you know he's MS-13?
Like, you're asking Kash Patel how he knows that this guy that they just arrested is part of MS-13?
Gotcha.
Because you don't want to have to admit liberal press person.
That this guy's been running loose for the past four or five years while Joe Biden was asleep on the beach.
See, they don't want to have to deal with that.
Every single time something else happens where there's a big arrest, where you find billions of dollars of fraud, where you find all these insane things that have been going on under our noses, and that gets exposed, the left looks worse and worse and worse.
And they don't know what to do other than try to cast shade at it.
But the American people have woken up, like you said.
I'm glad Trump didn't take office back to back.
We needed, as painful as it was, we really needed those four years to show us once and for all what kind of people are actually in places of power in our country.
Yeah, and I think the awakening is still happening because now we have the judicial branch.
I mean, these are all Soros-backed judges, and they're trying to...
You know, dictate to Trump on how to run the executive branch.
And, you know, every time he tries to do something, they try to stop him.
And I think...
Now, go ahead.
No, I think that it's not just...
I mean, yes, a lot of Republicans are awake.
A lot of independents are awake.
And I think this is waking up those moderate Democrats who are now looking at this and they're scratching their head.
You know, how can this be happening?
Does the judicial branch have this much power?
So...
What we're seeing right now is everyone starting to wake up and starting to learn about the Constitution.
Who really does have the power?
Who doesn't have the power?
How does the Constitution work?
And I think this is a very good lesson because a lot of people that go to school today or back in the day, they haven't learned about the Constitution.
They have no idea what the Constitution is.
So I think this is a good lesson to everyone on...
What is the executive branch?
What is the judicial branch?
What does the attorney general do?
What is the director of the FBI?
What powers they have?
And I think people are now starting to maybe do a little bit of research, maybe look at what's going on here, and they're starting to wake up to this.
So I don't think it's a bad thing.
I think it's kind of a good thing.
Look, we took the country back by overriding the rig election system.
Now we've got to keep it, because if we don't keep it, what was the whole point of taking it back?
Yeah, I think it's a necessary thing.
I think that the moves that need to happen and the events that need to occur need to occur post-Americans becoming aware and educated as to how this process works.
It also goes back to a lot of the MAGA crowd is upset that all these people haven't been arrested and brought into a courtroom yet.
But it's almost like, Dave, Just as an outsider looking at it, it appears to me they're starting with the lightweight stuff.
Like they're starting with fraud.
They're starting with rogue judges.
They're exposing the stuff like bit by bit where you can digest it and become accustomed to the fact that, yes, this is how it actually is.
And once they know you're settled with that, move into the next phase.
I mean, we all know or we all hope.
Speaking for myself, I hope where this winds up is that we finally find out where the hundreds of thousands of kids are missing in this country and who is responsible for them missing.
Where are they?
What happened to them?
Who funded it?
How long has this been going on?
And I don't give a damn if it's my favorite Republican out there.
I don't care if it's the preacher that I've listened to for 30 years.
I don't care.
Who it is.
When we arrive at that point, and that is the point I am looking forward to, whether that is soon or whether that's almost at the end of four years, as long as it happens, that is what I'm looking for because harming children upsets God more than anything a human being can do.
That is a fact.
And I base that off of In Matthew in the New Testament, when Jesus himself said, you'd be better off to have a millstone tied around your neck and cast into the sea than to ever cause one of these little ones to stumble, is the word he used.
Not to beat them up, not to sex traffic them, not to kill them, to mess with them at all, to cause them to stumble, to warp their innocence at all.
You'd be better off dead.
That's what the Son of God said.
You'd be better off dead than to do that.
So what do you think God thinks about America?
That we've got hundreds of thousands, if not millions of missing kids right now, not to mention over the decades, how many have been gone, abused, trafficked, killed.
To me, that is the absolute pinnacle.
That's the top.
And I think if they came with that information right now, Maybe on purpose.
and then they go right back into it.
They can't keep up with this stuff.
So I think this little by little by little approach of raising the water temperature, maybe on purpose, I think...
I think this is a controlled demolition.
I think there's a strategy to the demolition of the deep state.
You don't just run up to a skyscraper and start throwing bombs at it.
No, they have to go in and wire it and put them in certain places, right?
We've all seen buildings come down.
It takes a long time to really lay that out.
Experts have to weigh in on that.
So it comes down the way they want it to come down and when they want it to come down.
I kind of view it from that perspective.
I have nothing to base that on other than that's just my own perception on the way I see things going.
The children part of it is going to be the icing on the cake because when you start to bring in all their treasonous crimes and you're showing, look, this is waste and fraud, like you said in the beginning, waste and fraud.
See, people, yes, they're hearing waste and fraud, but when Elon says, okay, now we're going to show you where the money actually went to and hear the people that got the money and you're going to hear certain names and then you're going to hear other crimes like election fraud with Social Security.
Oh, look, all these people have Social Security numbers.
This is where they were using them.
These are the people that were voting.
These are the people that were responsible for this.
And then the next phase, the Epstein client list, you bring that in.
And then all of a sudden, it's the same exact people that were getting the kickbacks, the same exact people that were doing all these things.
And then you bring in, okay, they're also trafficking children.
I think as you build this up in layers, I mean, and you get to the unforgivable crime, there's nothing they can do.
I don't think you can escape this.
You might be able to explain the other things away saying, oh, no, that never happened.
But when you bring in children, that changes the entire ballgame.
That changes everything.
Yes, and it does not matter if you're a Christian, an atheist, a Buddhist, a Muslim, a lefty, a righty, a moderate, I don't care, Bernie Sanders, does not matter.
Any human being that has any of their soul intact whatsoever, when they are exposed to what has happened to all these kids, and it ain't 10 or 20, it's millions of them.
When that information finally hits them and there's no way to deny it, that is when I think you see our country take the actual turn, take the actual U-turn back towards what we're supposed to be.
You know, understanding that this has been going on under our noses for all these decades.
We weren't paying attention.
They were really good at hiding it.
We're not ever going to let that happen again.
You know, like after World War II, you basically gained 50 years, 40, 50 years of World War II veterans being alive and then their sons and daughters growing up around World War II veterans and the sense of patriotism and nobody messes with the USA and we'll die for this country.
That whole attitude was alive and well for the majority of the country during that span of time as the World War II generation, the greatest generation.
Began to pass away.
You started having generations of people born that had no real touchstone back to what it meant to have America actually under threat, to have your freedoms actually possibly taken away from you, to see the overthrow of your own government.
They didn't have a touchstone to that.
And so it just sounded like science fiction or conspiracy theory, as they would call it.
Again, I want to remind people, as of this interview, we are 10 weeks in to a 208-week term, and there are people like Dan Bongino and Cash Patel out there, and I know both of those guys personally, two of the most stone-cold patriots and, might I say, vicious individuals when it comes to going after the bad guys.
I mean, there is nothing that will stop those guys.
They will hunt you down to the ends of the earth.
They know what the stakes are.
They know it has to be done, and they are the guys to do it.
I would just urge the MAGA world, take a breath for a minute and understand that this thing is somewhat of a process.
Do you think there's still sleepers within these different agencies, the Department of Justice, the FBI, DHS?
Do you think there are still individuals that are just waiting to be activated?
100%.
I mean, those agencies are massive.
You left out the DOD.
I mean, how many people work at the Pentagon, for God's sake?
Hundreds of thousands at the DOD.
So there's Pete Hegsett.
That's another name we haven't brought up until right now.
I've known Pete for 10 or 11 years.
That's another stone-cold patriot.
That's another guy with a vicious attitude on behalf of America.
Like, he wants to walk out and go, okay, who wants to take us on?
Because here's what we've got.
Bam!
And he puts the...
American muscle-up, showing how he's rebuilding the military.
Yeah, he's got a big situation on his hands, too, because we know that there's a deep state in the military.
Of course there is.
And so these guys are 10 weeks in to unraveling something that took the enemy 100 years to put together.
And they're 10 days in.
And so it does bother me, Dave, when I see people questioning Kash Patel.
Or questioning Dan Bongino, questioning Pete Hegseth's integrity and their intent.
Give me a break.
You're not a serious person.
And I don't consider you to be a real, you want to call yourself MAGA?
You need to go listen to yourself for a minute.
This situation that these guys are trying to unravel and correct is bigger than anything anybody's ever taken on in the history of our country.
Well, when I start to see things like this where people are saying, oh, they're doing nothing, there's no arrests, it also flushes out those people that were pretending to be MAGA and they're not truly MAGA.
And then they start, you know, turning.
I mean, I think we saw this when DeSantis was running for president.
All of a sudden, those people that were MAGA, they turned and they started to go with DeSantis and they moved away from Trump and the whole movement.
And I think you're seeing the same thing right now.
Where they're out there saying, look, it's not going to happen.
It's all BS.
Nobody's going to be doing anything.
And I think this just flushes these people out and people can start recognizing these individuals.
I agree.
And think of how absurd it is for somebody that says they're a Trump supporter, they're a Make America Great Again person.
How absurd is it to say...
That the man who almost got murdered by the deep state twice, meaning Donald Trump, almost murdered once on live television, is going to have four years in office and not do a damn thing about it.
You really believe that?
You really think that man of all the men in the world, even if those things hadn't have happened, he'd still be coming for them.
But those things did happen.
Not only that.
They drug him through all the courts.
They mocked him, belittled him, attacked his family.
I mean, attacked the Constitution, attacked everything about the integrity of our country.
Do you really think Donald Trump is going to let four years click by and wave goodbye as he heads to the golf course and this situation was not rectified?
Anybody that thinks that doesn't understand Donald Trump at all.
Yeah, and what I've noticed from him, he doesn't go directly at these people.
I feel like he makes people feel pain every step of the way.
It's almost like tightening a vice grip, and there's no escape from it.
And I don't think a lot of people like that approach.
don't, because you know, a lot of people like to go directly at the enemy.
All right, I'm going to go directly at you.
I'm going to take you out.
But again, the enemy is very, very large.
It's, you know, it's deep and wide.
And I think he had to take a different approach.
I think he had to Wake the American.
He needed the American people on his side.
He needed the majority on his side to do the things to bring all these people to justice.
I think he needed the people, people support to do this without the people support.
If he tried to do this back in 2016, it wouldn't have worked.
No.
It would have been a disaster.
Yeah.
Absolute disaster.
I saw his approval rating numbers today.
He is at 58% approval.
58. Even with SignalGate.
Yeah.
I mean, 58% approval.
And I think that is in large part because he's doing what he said he would do.
I'm going to expose these people.
I'm going to tell you the truth.
I'm going to uncover all this stuff.
And one by one by one, I'm going to knock these dominoes down.
And that's what I'm running on.
Put me in the White House and see what I do.
And he's actually doing it.
I mean, Dave, how many Democrats have you seen now on social media who have said, I'm out.
I may not be a Republican, but I like what Trump is doing.
Yes.
I like that.
I don't like being lied to.
I don't like seeing my tax dollars spent like that.
I don't like my neighborhood overrun by people who aren't supposed to be in our country.
And now my kids are suffering for it.
I don't like fentanyl all over my zip code.
They like results.
And how do you know when somebody is a good guy?
How do you really know?
You know when somebody is a good guy when all the bad guys come at that person.
All of them.
And I'm talking about also the ones with R next to their name.
Those Republican.
There's a lot of Republican bad guys too.
More than you realize.
I've met most of them.
And you'd be shocked at some of the things I've heard them say.
When they don't think anybody's listening.
So he's got that to deal with, too.
He's got people in his own party that are saboteurs.
So first 10 weeks, I think he's doing a pretty damn good job.
I just want to change the subject a little bit to the economy right now.
I mean, I see what the fake news is doing.
I see that they're trying to say this is going to cause inflation.
It's going to destroy the economy.
And when you look at this and you look at what Trump is doing, what do you think his main goal is in the end?
His main goal in the end is to put the world in check because the world is running amok.
The world is running over the United States like a steamroller, like we're not even there.
I mean, they're used to doing that, especially for the past four years with Biden.
It's kind of like undergoing surgery.
So let's say that I can't walk a flight of stairs anymore because my knee is bone on bone.
It's just the joint is totally shot.
What are my options?
Well, you can just keep walking bone on bone and you'll never climb another flight of stairs.
Or we can do a knee replacement surgery and it's going to hurt you for about a week or two.
And that physical therapy is not going to be fun.
But on the other side of that, forget walking up the stairs.
You're going to be running up and down the stairs.
You're going to be doing jump rope again.
This is going to fix it long term.
And I think that's the way Trump is approaching this.
There's going to be short term pain.
But it is going to fix the long-term situation.
He's looking at this as a legacy move.
I mean, you've got to remember, he's not running for office again.
So this is a legacy move, I believe, on his part.
This is to put the other economies of the world in check so America can then stand up again and be holding the reins, and we decide.
We get to decide how our economy runs.
I mean, how many trillions of dollars have already poured back into the United States?
Just since he's been president.
Many, many trillions of dollars.
So people are bringing their businesses back.
I play concerts on the road, Dave, and I'll see 10 or 15,000 people out there.
And they would sure like to know that this gets fixed.
Their kids aren't under the same vice that they're under.
I do believe this is a legacy play for Trump.
It may hurt short term, but I think just like a surgery, long term, you're a lot better off.
