[00:00:00]  I'm excited for the future.
[00:00:09]  President Trump was elected with a decisive margin, a mandate not just for incremental change, but sweeping change.
[00:00:16]  And I'm looking forward to being a part of it.
[00:00:18]  He's changed history with his creativity and how he's thinking about this new administration, his second term.
[00:00:23]  And one of the things that we're doing differently is the, as you've probably heard, the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, which I'll have the honor of co-leading with Elon Musk.
[00:00:35]  This is, I think, the Manhattan Project of our time, hopefully.
[00:00:39]  We are going to take aim at the overgrown fourth branch of government and finally restore self-governance in America again, where the people we elect to run the government once again become the ones who actually run the government.
[00:00:51]  And in the process, take care of massive cost overruns, massive federal spending in a way that's really never happened in our generation.
[00:01:00]  Politicians have talked about it for a long time.
[00:01:02]  It hasn't happened.
[00:01:03]  And that's why we're doing things differently.
[00:01:05]  Elon and I, we're not politicians.
[00:01:07]  We're businessmen.
[00:01:08]  We're not going in as government bureaucrats or even employees.
[00:01:12]  We're outside volunteers.
[00:01:14]  And perhaps most importantly, we have set a finite expiry date on this project.
[00:01:18]  We don't want DOGE to exist forever.
[00:01:20]  To the contrary, we want this to end and the need for it to end by July 4th, 2026, which is appropriate.
[00:01:28]  That's the 250th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence.
[00:01:32]  And I can think of no better gift to this country than a downsized government that would make our founding fathers proud.
[00:01:40]  And that's what we hope to help play a role in delivering for them.
[00:01:43]  I'm proud of President Trump for delivering this victory.
[00:01:45]  I'm proud of the American people for voting for the kind of change that we require to save this republic.
[00:01:52]  As part of that process, I'm now all in.
[00:01:54]  I'm focused on making sure that we actually accomplish the goal rather than just talking about it.
[00:02:00]  So to that end, for the next little bit, I'm going to put a pause on the weekly truth podcasts.
[00:02:05]  I've enjoyed doing it this year.
[00:02:06]  It's been incredibly fun and entertaining.
[00:02:08]  I've learned from a lot of the guests and I've enjoyed communicating with all of you.
[00:02:11]  We're going to put that on pause for a little bit.
[00:02:13]  And as you may have heard, Elon and I are going to start a separate track of doge casts that explain exactly what we're doing to the public to provide transparency in what is a once-in-a-generation project.
[00:02:24]  We want to bring the public along with us to lift the curtain, to take us behind the scenes of what actually that waste, fraud, and abuse in government looks like.
[00:02:32]  However bad you think it is, it's probably worse.
[00:02:35]  But we don't want to do this to just expose the problem.
[00:02:37]  We want to do it to solve the problem.
[00:02:40]  So stay tuned.
[00:02:40]  We're going to have more information about when those doge casts are going to begin.
[00:02:44]  We are neck deep right now and transitioning to the new dawn on January 20th.
[00:02:49]  But in the meantime, I thank all of you for your journey this year, for joining us.
