	Hey everyone, Cristia and I were just in a meeting when we heard the good news that our bill to double the GST tax credit for 11 million households across this country over the next six months has just passed royal assent.
	This is great news for families.
	It's going to be real help this fall.
	I am so happy about this, Prime Minister.
	It means that a family with a couple of kids will get nearly $500.
	It means that a single person will get just over $230.
	$230.
	On average, we'll get $225.
	Now, we know that this isn't going to cover everything.
	Anything.
	But it's real support for the people.
	And, you know, Prime Minister, what was really great and kind of surprising is we had unanimous support in the House of Commons.
	All the parties, in the end, realized this was the right thing to do.
	That's why we were able to do it so fast.

	What's this entire inquiry supposed to show?
	It's supposed to give us the context, the circumstances surrounding the invocation of the act.

	At the time, the rumors were that there was a breakthrough in negotiations between the protesters and the authorities, not just in Trudeau.
	Because that coward fled Ottawa, refused to talk, negotiate, or even acknowledge the existence of the protesters, instead preferred to call them racist, sexist, misogynist, xenophobe, whatever.

	My overarching concern is for the safety and security of our residents.
	Safety and security, which after three weeks had not been breached or compromised whatsoever, setting aside the noise.
	Business owners and workers in the downtown core who are innocent collateral damage of this unprecedented national and international demonstration.
	It was international.
	It was embarrassing for everybody in Canadian politics.
	Our residents are exhausted and on edge.
	I can absolutely agree with that.
	And our small businesses impacted by your blockades are teetering on the brink of permanent closure.
	No, it couldn't have been the year and a half of government-imposed closure.
	It was the three weeks of protest.
	And by the way, Watson and everyone in Ottawa, no business had to close down.
	Those businesses, had they stayed open, would have done gangbuster business.
	They would have done gangbuster business.
	They didn't have to close down.
	They were told to close down.
	And the ones that didn't close down were punished by the authorities.
	But they're on the brink of permanent closure.
	They had just reopened after, what, a year of closure?

	It was the three weeks of protest which brought more people to the Ottawa Corps than had been there in two years.

	I don't believe these harmful effects on our community and its residents were the intended consequences of your protest.

	That's why I'm writing to ask that you remove your convoy and its trucks from all of our residential neighborhoods.

	And that you restrict your presence to a limited perimeter from Wellington.

	For anyone who watched my protest, I always parked on Wellgin, parked legally, and drove up every day I went there.

	I ask that you immediately seek the support of the truckers to follow this path of de-escalation.

	Agree to not displace the truck, convoy, vehicles, or other to other residential areas of Ottawa.

	The act complied with the Therapeutic Abortion Act, Article 2, commencing with Section whatever.
	Okay, some restrictions.
	The act was committed by a holder of a physician's and surgeon's certificate as defined in the Business and Professions Code in a case where, to a medical certainty, the result of childbirth would be death of the mother, of the fetus or where her death from childbirth, although not medically certain, would be substantially certain or more likely than not.
	Three, the act was solicited, aided, abetted, or consented to by the mother of the fetus.
	This is the absolute incoherence of this provision of law.
	It would be murder if not by the consent of the mother, but not murder if the mother consents.
	The argument is that her body, her choice, it's not an independent being.
	It's not a separate person under the law.
	And so therefore she can do what she wants with her body because it's her body, her choice, no other human in the sense of the law in consideration.
	If there's no other human in the sense of the law, how then can it be murder if the mother consents to it?
	If it's not a human under the law, it would not be murder.
	If it's her body, her choice, No other entity, no other legal being, it wouldn't be murder.
	If it's murder to the extent the mother does not consent to it, it's no longer, even by the wording of the law, her body.
	It might still be her choice under the law, but it's not her body because you can't murder your own body and then not be dead after the fact.
	And then the double logic here, in that it would be legal if the mother decides to do it by consent.
	I don't know up until when, but I know that the draft legislation, it might have already passed in California.
	Actually, I don't know if it's passed, but the law that there will be no inquiries into a death of a baby to the extent it occurs within 30 days of birth.
	I hope I did not misarticulate the provisions of that legislation, but chat, let me know.

	The question then was, well, what the heck is Fetterman's problem that he can't evade the question?
	Like all other capable politicians can evade providing that damning, unpopular, and I would say intolerable answer to the question.
	Fetterman had a stroke, by the way, in May.
	I didn't know this.
	I'm shocked, actually, that maybe not so many people, or maybe it happened at the time, you know, Fetterman was open about certain medical procedures, having had them himself.
	And then suffers what even Sanjay Gupta describes as a very serious stroke.
	We're noticing this trend.

	The stroke might have been caused by long COVID.
