	18 year olds.
	James Topp is either a national hero, as Weetro says, or he's public enemy number one, a racist, a hate-filled man, if you ask, anti-hate Canada, or Justin Trudeau.

	He is, the last time we checked, he was marching back across Newfoundland.
	And now, oh, that didn't work.
	Now he's, I don't know, there's news.
	I was told there's news.
	And we're going to find out what the news is.

	A bit of a grind today, but we continue to do the business here of marching.
	We're in New Brunswick.
	We just passed Fredericton not that long ago.
	And we're on our way to Edmonston.
	We continue to do the business of educating the public about what has been going on within the federal government sector and how mandates have negatively affected not just myself by the way thousands if not tens of thousands of federal government workers and specifically now we're addressing the issue of Canadian Armed Forces but members serving members who have been Subject
	to what is called a 5F release, which basically means you are unsuitable for further service.
	Again, we had this conversation back in Newfoundland.
	We continue to march to protest this, to raise awareness about the issue.
	There are a number of people within the Canadian population who do not realize the suffering that we have faced, that have been incurred.
	On our members in the Armed Forces individually, their families, the institution as a whole, is facing significant structural stress because of the fact that we have this policy that has discriminated.
	It's discriminatory in nature.
	It is coercive.
	The folks who have decided to not participate are vilified.
	They're singled out and they are forced out.
	This continues to happen.
	We are losing highly trained members of the armed forces from pilots, operators and technicians to the man on the ground, the person that makes things happen where the rubber meets the road, soldiers, sailors, airmen.
	All of these things are happening and it is not widely known.
	And it's not widely known how much this has affected the institution as a whole, operationally speaking.
	So we continue to raise awareness about this issue, and in doing so, we are subsequently vilified by our corporate media.
	The latest article published by Global News on August the 18th is particularly egregious.
	And because it was so bad, we have decided to launch legal action, and that is the new thing.
	So again, it continues to be an issue of folks being negatively impacted, are raising awareness about the issue.
	And it's also important that we don't forget to speak about not just those persons in the Department of National Defense, the federal government, it's across various sectors, corporate.
	And other private sectors, you know, business owners who have been forced to shut their businesses down.
	We continue to bring forward a potential solution called the three R's equals R. And that means repeal mandates, reinstate workers, grant restitution for wages lost.
	And we're going to have what we need to see in this population is a repair of the divide.

	We have a nation, a population that is divided by fear and alarm that they are facing day in and day out from various statements made by the corporate media and the government officials that support each other in maintaining the state of fear and alarm.

	I think it's time that those of us who have something to say and are vilified that are censored in a backdoor manner that we've seen in which we have a corporate media that either does not cover us or when they do, it's derogatory in nature.
	We have articles being written where you have guilt by association happening.
	In the URL, you have blatant defamation.

	And I'll just go to the editor's note.
	Editor's note, the URL for this story has been revised to omit a reference to, quote, white supremacist, end quote, to avoid any misunderstanding.
	That persons named in the URL are associated with that label.
	Is this the original article, James, that if I'm not misunderstanding things, effectively implied?
	The fact of the matter is that the search engine optimization tags are more than likely continuing to be used.
	The URL needed to be changed, done so.
	However, that was on the public eye for a number of days before it got changed.
	And it wouldn't have got changed unless I and people who support me had pointed it out to Global News.
	What was the exact problem with the URL, if you can explain it?
	Because it's alluding to the fact, or it's alluding to a statement with regards to the one you just read.
	What was in the URL is this label.
	Okay.
	And I'm fairly certain I remember having seen it at the time, but I'm going to go...
	Well, you can actually, if you decide to use the Wayback Machine, you can actually find the original article and what impact it had on the dates of the 18th, 19th, and 20th.
	So this is the issue.
	Again, when you read the actual article, at no time, despite the fact that my image is being used, without puring my face, of course, at our arrival in Ottawa, again, they are Throwing up in a cloud of names and organizations, my name, so that the public is under this kind of cognitive conditioning process where you have this guilt by association.
	When they hear my name, they automatically associate it with other nefarious individuals or organizations.
	And again...

	So how can I be reported on without actually being given the ability to comment on the story?

	Rightly or wrongly, depending on who you ask, or depending on who knows what, they were associating you, anti-hate was going after you.

	They got one of the venues to shut down so you couldn't do what you came there to do.
	Now you're marching through New Brunswick, trying to schedule meetings, trying to schedule stumps along the way?

	We continue to pull back on this kind of bullying going on by these organizations, this labeling.

	Well, it was members, okay, who had identified themselves as being partners, affiliates, associates, members, what have you.
	With a Twitter feed, whether or not they're actually real persons or not.
	With regards to the individuals in Newfoundland, they encourage business owners not to do business with us or accept our money in order to host the venue.
	I can speak to two examples in St. John's, Newfoundland, in which what they do is they call the business up.
	Malign or make statements such as this is going to be bad for your business.
	How do I know this?
	Because they have said so.
	They have said and are proud of the fact that they had got these venues cancelled because they have called organizations try to call us you know label us as these extreme characters and again It is effective in a way to those who don't know who I am or what I'm doing or do not want to take the effort into finding out what is happening because we have the
	online space is a force multiplier to these individuals.
	They can make any statements they wish with no significant repercussion.
	Again, you know, I don't...
	Follow anti-hate or any of its Twitter feed.
	We have an existence on Twitter to announce various events.
	You know, it is occasionally attacked by these folks.
	And again, they post articles or make such posts that are derogatory in nature within their sphere of influence and again misrepresent what I'm doing.
	And what I'm about.
	You know, this is at no point in time has any of them ever contacted me directly.
	They're more than willing to do so.
	I'm more than willing to have a conversation with them to understand exactly why they feel this way.
	What's it gonna take for us to establish some meaningful communication here outside of just standing on the sidelines and shouting insults?
	This is not conducive to a free society.
	To a functioning democracy.
	This is, again, and I made a special video about this issue with regards to the Global News article.
	When such extreme labels are attached, it has an ability to cause a disconnect in those that are susceptible to these things and make them act irrationally or on the spur of the moment.
	As you can tell, I'm on a highway here marching in protest.
	I have a significant number of safety devices to minimize our risk.
	However, we are at risk.
	It's widely known what I'm doing.
	I have a GPS receiver on my backpack.
	The type of claims that are being made are derogatory, and again, it is inciting negative emotion in people.
	And should they decide to act on it, then I don't have much of a defense against them.
	It's ironic, you know, from the crowd screaming stochastic terrorism.
	And Rachel Gilmore, unless I'm mistaken, is in that crowd screaming stochastic terrorism.
	And then running around labeling people white nationalists, white supremacists.
	And you, above all.
	Besmirching you, defaming, slandering.
	So what did you do?
	Did you send a lawyer's letter to Global?
	Yeah, that's what we're in the process of doing.
	We have, again, we started up this, you know, the legal fees will be significant.

	I believe so, within the litigation law with regards to defamation lawsuits.

	They are asked to take the article down.
	They have, I think, 90 days to consider it.
	If it doesn't happen within that time frame, then the lawsuit goes forward.

	Well, unfortunately, not long ago, there was a passing of a good friend of mine.
	He actually put us up at his property.
	A veteran Tyson Bowen, a retired sergeant.
	He had a property where he was turning into a resort for veterans called Real Canadian Recreation, named after his regiment that he served in, the Royal Canadian Regiment.
	Now, he had released from the military after 15 years.
	He opened his property to veterans so that they could come there with their families in rural Nova Scotia.
	Enjoy some peace and quiet and some time away and unwind and participate in activities outdoors and other social events so that they can vent.
	They have an audience.
	They have somebody that will listen to them.
	They have a place where they feel welcome.
	This is what he did.
	This is his legacy that he left for us because, unfortunately, he passed away suddenly.
	So we're going to head back to Nova Scotia.
	I'll celebrate his life on Friday.
	And then we'll head back and resume marching probably in and around Woodstock, New Brunswick.

	So it's something that should be probably brought to the public's attention as well.
	But other than that, we continue to do what we're doing here.

	You have a corporate media spoon-feeding you fear and alarm on a daily basis.
	You have officials echoing that.
	People don't know what to do.
	They're confused.
	They're afraid.
	They fall into a state of apathy and now lead you more susceptible to being led down the wrong path.
	And in order to fight against that, we need to educate ourselves, be courageous.
	Take some kind of action.
	It's got to be peaceful.
	It's got to be nonviolent.
	You're not going to accomplish anything any other way.
	And there needs to be a sustained effort.
	You can't just mail a letter, send an email, not receive a response, and then expect, you know, throw your hands up in the air and say it's all over.

	Vet everyone who's going to be at a Pierre Poilievre event.
	Justin Trudeau, I have no doubt, has no difficulty vetting the three people who come to his events because they're probably donors.
	I have no doubt that Justin Trudeau, who can't get a crowd unless it's a crowd to heckle him, would have a much easier time vetting people who willingly show up to his events.
	Mistakes can lead to embarrassing gaffes at best, they say, and widespread condemnation at worst.
	Who's guilty of the widespread condemnation?
	Look what they made us do.
	The journalists are saying it's widespread condemnation that we are spearheading.

	We've seen it on all sides of the political spectrum.
	No, we haven't.
	Nobody went after Jagmeet Singh in any meaningful sense.
	Nobody went after Justin Trudeau in any meaningful sense.

	I can think of 600 million reasons why.

	Politicians absolutely have a responsibility to research and figure out who is the person who's putting this event on.
	Different, yeah, different.
	I mean, that's just good PR.
	Why wouldn't their team be looking at who the organizer is?

	And if they do look at who the organizer is, were they okay with that?
	Stephen McAvoy, who self-described on social media as the Ottawa organizer for a march against COVID-19 mandates that took place on June 30th, was named on the City of Ottawa permit application as primary event contact.
	Oh, okay.
	In 2018, McAvoy spoke to us at a small protest, which local media at the time described it as such, and therefore it is, as anti-immigration and anti-Justin Trudeau.
	Oh, the local media described it as such.
	I guess this means that nobody can ever meet with, oh geez, Maxime Bernier, because the media called him anti-immigrant, racist, xenophobe, whatever.
	The media gets to label you, and then they get to demonize anybody who meets with a person who the media has labeled probably wrongly, if I'm just operating on historical averages.
	We open mass immigration, open borders, new world order, and Sharia law, it claims, is what this guy said.
	On a YouTube channel, Dubois can be seen having a fireside chat with a self-described white nationalist, Kevin Goudreau, who has a swastika tattooed on his chest.
	Goudreau attended the protest.
	That's probably not what you want to be doing.
	Although, knowing what was the nature of the interview, it's possible to scrutinize bad people.
	I mean, has Rachel Gilmore ever interviewed anybody who has a swastika tattoo?
	Have journalists interviewed people who are unsavory characters?
	Not knowing the context which they're not giving, these are questions I would ask.
	Global News also obtained a number of screenshots from McEvoy's social media.
	In one post, she says it was just weird that a Muslim woman rang up at the Victoria's Secret store.
	In another, she proclaims that she is pro-Proud Boy.
	Was this before Proud Boys were declared a terrorist organization in Canada?
	Questions I would ask.
	The march McAvoy helped organize centered around a man named James Topp.
	Oh, so now James Topp is guilty of the sins of everyone else who seems to be guilty only through association.
	A Canadian soldier who has spoken out against the federal government COVID-19 vaccine requirements and is now set to face a court-martial.
	Tell us why.
	Tell us why he's set to face a court-martial.
	Who has been walking across the country to draw attention to his opposition to vaccine mandates.
	So that's one way of describing it.
	Or he's marching across the country to raise awareness for constitutional rights.
	That's another way to describe it.
	So all a question of perspective.
	While the permit application itself was denied, the city says it wasn't submitted in time, among other reasons.
	The march went ahead as planned.
	Four people were arrested after Top arrived at the National War Memorial in what Ottawa characterized as an interaction.
	During which they said an officer was choked.
	Four people.
	Do you know how many people get arrested in Ottawa on a daily basis?
	Just asking obvious questions.
	Four people were arrested when James Top marched through Ottawa and now we're supposed to conclude that James Top is guilty of something by association.
	I don't know what it is, but throw enough together and people will connect dots that don't exist if you ask us to.
	Before the march arrived at the War Memorial, a handful of politicians, including Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre and Maxime Bernier, briefly walked alongside the group.
	It's unclear whether they were aware of McAvoy's role in organizing the event as multiple requests for comment and follow-up attempts were left unanswered over the course of more than two weeks.
	It's unclear if Poilievre and Maxime, who showed up to support, presumably, James Topp, Who was marching across Canada to raise awareness for constitutional rights and the abuses and, I'll say, inhumane punishment that military men and Canadians have been suffering?
