Uncensored - Piers Morgan - ‘Just Not Fair To Women’ Aryna Sabalenka x Nick Kyrgios Face Battle Of The Sexes Aired: 2025-12-09 Duration: 32:53 === Men And Women Serving Stronger (15:05) === [00:00:00] If you get taken down by a woman, you're going to throw the biggest tantrum of your life. [00:00:04] If I go down, this one might be the one that hangs the rackets up for good. [00:00:10] It's been, Arena, some of your opponents claimed you have a biological advantage. [00:00:14] You're bigger, taller, and stronger. [00:00:16] And she suggested this was down to your higher testosterone levels. [00:00:20] What do you say to that? [00:00:23] It's no secret that I have strong opinions about men competing against women in elite sport. [00:00:27] The biologically male body is bigger, stronger, and faster than the female physiology. [00:00:33] And we've only recently been cowed into pretending otherwise because of a noisy minority of radical wokeys. [00:00:39] But long before this debate became toxic, and in my view, frankly insane, there was a far more jovial contest over the sporting supremacy of the genders. [00:00:47] It was called the Battle of the Sexes, with female tennis superstars taking on men in big televised exhibitions. [00:00:54] Margaret Cord lost to Bobby Riggs in the first ever Battle of the Sexes back in 73. [00:00:59] Riggs then sensationally lost to Billie Jean King later that same year. [00:01:03] 50 million people watched it on TV. [00:01:06] It's argued that an important milestone in the public appreciation of women's tennis. [00:01:10] I personally very much appreciate women's tennis, but Riggs by that time was 55 years old, 26 years older than King. [00:01:18] The great Martina Nevatlova then lost to Jimmy Connors in 1992, putting the debate to bed for good. [00:01:24] Until now, the world's number one in women's tennis, Irina Sabalenko will take on the world's number one in tennis temper tantrums. [00:01:34] I said that deliberately to wind him up, Nick Kyrios, on the 28th of December in Dubai. [00:01:39] And both of them join me now. [00:01:41] Well, Nick Kirios, lovely to see you again, as always. [00:01:44] Arena, welcome to Uncensored, your debut. [00:01:49] Thank you. [00:01:50] I'm excited to be here. [00:01:51] I actually heard Nick saying off camera, all I heard him say was, have you talked to Piers Morgan before? [00:01:56] And you said no, and then I didn't get what he said. [00:01:59] What was the warning he gave you? [00:02:03] No, I just said that you're going to be nice to me, but not for him. [00:02:07] Bingo! [00:02:08] Bingo! [00:02:08] You can go really full. [00:02:10] No, no, you can absolutely go hardcore. [00:02:13] Let me just lay my cards right on the table, Arena. [00:02:16] We don't know each other, but I have never wanted anything more in my life than for you to give Kirios a good spanking. [00:02:29] That's going to be a fun show for sure. [00:02:31] He's stressed. [00:02:31] That's all I know. [00:02:32] That's all I need to know. [00:02:34] Well, the thing is, Nick Kyrios, I mean, Irina hasn't got anything to lose because the expectation will be that given that you're nearly the same age, she's 27, you're 30, despite the fact she's world number one and you're down in the 600s currently in the men's because you've not been playing as much, obviously. [00:02:54] The expectation is that you should win comfortably. [00:02:58] But if you don't, this could be the most humiliating moment of your life. [00:03:03] How are you feeling? [00:03:06] It's a loose little situation over here. [00:03:08] I mean, that's the thing, Piers. [00:03:10] I've had some pretty low moments in my career. [00:03:12] But the thing is, I know Arena and I know that she really has confidence in her ability, whether she's playing me or whether she's playing Coco Golf or anyone. [00:03:21] You know, I feel like I'm very aware that she's a dangerous tennis player. [00:03:24] I'm going to go out there and I'm going to give it everything. [00:03:26] You know, I'm going to go out there and be very weary of her weapons, what she's able to do. [00:03:30] And look, at the end of the day, I've had tough losses. [00:03:33] But as you said, if I go down, this one might be the one that hangs the rackets up for good. [00:03:40] No, no, there's no way back. [00:03:41] You'd have to immediately retire. [00:03:46] I like to hear how stressed he is, but at the same time, I don't want to be that person who's going to help him to retire. [00:03:52] Oh, no, no. [00:03:53] You'd get a statue built all around the world. [00:03:56] We have one in London, one in Sydney, one in Belarus. [00:04:02] That's rough. [00:04:03] You know that you like me now. [00:04:04] You don't really want to see me away from the sport. [00:04:07] Stop. [00:04:07] That's true. [00:04:08] I don't actually want to. [00:04:09] I don't want you to retire, but I do want to see you absolutely. [00:04:11] No, no, guys, come on. [00:04:13] I think this exhibition has been a good push for Nick to finally start working doing something. [00:04:19] That's what I heard from his team. [00:04:21] So Nick is back practicing training. [00:04:24] So I think guys should be aware that Nick is coming back in Australia, right? [00:04:30] No, Arena, I want to talk to you. [00:04:32] Well, Arena, I want to talk to you seriously about the contest because they've made some accommodations for the gender differential. [00:04:42] So you will have a 9% smaller court to defend, and there will only be one serve only, which the belief is it may neutralize. [00:04:54] What's that? [00:04:57] No, no, go ahead. [00:04:58] Sorry, sorry, because he knows what I'm going to say next. [00:05:01] Okay, well, what are you going to say? [00:05:04] Yeah, because originally I had two serves, but then he got so stressed that he took away the serves. [00:05:10] So now we're now like it was so bad from him to do that. [00:05:15] I think I didn't know that. [00:05:18] You have to be a gentleman, he has to give me two, right? [00:05:20] Wow, the request came from Mr. Kyrios. [00:05:23] This show is just called Shred Nick Kyrios. [00:05:25] It's not even about talking about that. [00:05:27] But is that true? [00:05:28] Is it true that you begged for mercy on the serve? [00:05:31] Is it? [00:05:32] Look, we had an initial meeting and I was very okay with all the rules. [00:05:36] And then I saw the rules and I was like, don't get me wrong, like her serve is very good, and it would be better than some males. [00:05:44] Come on, for guys who's being genuinely being honest. [00:05:46] Your first serve, I appreciate it. [00:05:48] How was better than some males? [00:05:51] So I feel like if she had two serves and I only had one serve, I would be the underdog. [00:05:55] I'm not even joking. [00:05:56] Like, it would be tough out there. [00:05:58] Let me ask you, Arena. [00:06:00] Well, Arena, I remember Serena Williams, I think, being asked, you know, how many men she could be. [00:06:07] And I think she said she wouldn't beat anyone in the top 800. [00:06:10] I think she said something like that. [00:06:12] When you look at the men's game and you look at, say, the top thousand players, how many do you think you could beat? [00:06:19] I mean, at what level would you fancy your chances against a man in, say, a three-set competition? [00:06:28] Well, to be honest, I think if we play like full court, full rules, yeah, it would be, it will be really tough for me to compete against guys. [00:06:41] I mean, physically, they're much stronger. [00:06:43] Speed, the power of the balls, everything is much stronger. [00:06:48] So it's tough to compete. [00:06:50] But in these conditions, I feel like we're having right now here, like 9% smaller court. [00:06:55] I feel like, okay, maybe at least I have a bit like higher chance to compete and to see if I can win in these conditions. [00:07:06] And if I can, then maybe, maybe I will go for. [00:07:10] But if you're honest, every match against the guy. [00:07:14] There's obviously a physical advantage for men, but if you're honest, do you think you would be any? [00:07:19] Would you beat any man in the top thousand men, do you think? [00:07:23] Under normal conditions? [00:07:24] For sure. [00:07:26] I think some of them, maybe I would be able to win. [00:07:31] Yeah. [00:07:32] Like if there is the guy that doesn't have that powerful serve, for example. [00:07:37] And yeah, I think I could get a couple wins, but not like I would win every of them. [00:07:46] And Nick, what do you think? [00:07:47] I mean, it's been a long-held debate. [00:07:48] John McEnroe, I think, was very public about this too, and said that the disparity was simply too big and that the best women's player ever would struggle to beat anyone, I think he said again, in the top 800 to 1,000 or whatever. [00:08:02] What do you think? [00:08:05] Look, I think the sport's changed. [00:08:06] You know, obviously, you know, we have advantages, but I'm around Irina fair bit now and I see her tennis and I watch a lot of her matches. [00:08:14] Obviously, we work pretty closely. [00:08:15] And, you know, to see her physicality and the way she hits the ball, there's no doubt in my mind that, you know, she's the number one player in the world. [00:08:21] There would be guys that would get extremely nervous, extremely tight. [00:08:25] And, you know, as Irina said, if they don't have a big serve and they get into the rally, like her ball speed on her forehand is as big as some of the guys as well. [00:08:35] So it's like, I have no doubt in my mind she would beat guys in the top thousand. [00:08:39] That's not even a question. [00:08:40] But I think, you know, the main thing is about this is like, I guess both of us, you know, our goal is to try and grow the sport. [00:08:47] You know, I want more eyes on a sport. [00:08:50] And I think that's the main thing. [00:08:52] You know, what other sport in the world where you can have your favorite female player and some of your favorite male players on the same court competing? [00:09:00] And it's going to be a show. [00:09:01] Like, it's going to be amazing. [00:09:02] You know, this has already picked up more traction than some of the men's matches this year or some of the women's matches. [00:09:06] So I'm just super excited to be a part of something like that's actually quite historical. [00:09:10] And I'm looking at it. [00:09:12] I'm just grateful that I've been, you know, I got thrown into the deep end. [00:09:15] I'm looking at it as a blessing to go out there and to share the court with world number one. [00:09:20] Like that's all I'm focusing on. [00:09:22] I don't care about the name. [00:09:23] I just want to go out there and give the people a show and have a bit of fun. [00:09:27] Arena, there have been criticism from some women journalists about this. [00:09:32] The Guardian had a woman write to you, so what we have here is a massive opportunity for women's sport to be belittled, dismissed and gloated over by incels and career misogynists to blow its own foot off with a single dog whistle publicity stunt. [00:09:49] What do you say to people that have that view? [00:09:54] Well, it's actually quite funny to see how some people see that. [00:09:59] I think what Nick just said previously, it's absolutely right. [00:10:04] We're just bringing our sport to the next level and we're bringing it to the show. [00:10:08] And the visibility that this event got in the last couple of months or so is incredible. [00:10:15] And we're just going to bring it into the show and we're going to compete and we're going to fight. [00:10:19] And yeah, it's just going to explore our sport a bit more. [00:10:24] And I think that's our goal. [00:10:26] And of course, I want to bring the fight. [00:10:30] I want to have fun and I want to put this guy in an uncomfortable situation over there. [00:10:35] Well, we all want that to happen. [00:10:38] The thing is, Nick. [00:10:39] Well, Nick, I wanted to read you a quote from Renee Stubbs, four-timed Grand Slam champion in doubles, who said, well, what's in it for women's tennis? [00:10:47] Nick Kyrios, unless he's really hurt and can't run at all, will win this match easily. [00:10:52] It's just a fact. [00:10:54] Male tennis players, especially one as good as him, even if he's playing at 50%, he's going to win that match. [00:11:00] Do you agree? [00:11:03] Look, to be honest, I don't think I've really ever taken anything Renee Stubbs has said about me really personally or with any really care, to be honest. [00:11:13] I think it shows unity. [00:11:15] Honestly, it really does show unity. [00:11:17] I think people don't know that me and Arena get along extremely well. [00:11:22] Like we are having fun in doing this together. [00:11:24] Like this is something that not many tennis players have ever experienced. [00:11:26] So we're going to be able to do that. [00:11:27] Well, what if you win 6-0, 6-0? [00:11:29] What if you win 6-0-6-0? [00:11:31] But what if? [00:11:32] Like, that's always like, that sport. [00:11:34] That's why it's not played on paper. [00:11:35] Like, that's why we're going out there. [00:11:36] We don't know what to expect. [00:11:37] I've never gone out there in that. [00:11:38] I'm going to feel extremely nervous. [00:11:40] I'm carrying a lot of weight as well. [00:11:41] And this is something, you know, Irina's one of Grand Slams, but she's never gone into this kind of thing. [00:11:45] I love to challenge myself. [00:11:47] It's like a challenge for both of us. [00:11:48] Nick didn't play for a while. [00:11:50] For him, it's like he's a good start. [00:11:52] He's a motivation. [00:11:53] He's stressed, yeah, obviously, for obvious reasons, right? [00:11:56] But it's good for him to feel the stress and to go out there and compete in this stress. [00:12:00] And for me, it's a challenge. [00:12:01] It's like I'm challenging myself. [00:12:02] I'm putting myself against Nick, like a big server, like the guy that can just makes you go nuts, you know? [00:12:10] Like, for me, it's a huge challenge. [00:12:11] So that's the way I take it. [00:12:14] And whatever some of the commentators are saying, it's just their opinion. [00:12:20] And I'm happy they have their opinion, but it doesn't mean that their opinion is right. [00:12:25] I think I've been watching too much football. [00:12:28] We saw Steph Curry and Sabrina do a three-point contest. [00:12:31] I think when men and women are now doing more of these things together, I think it's a sign that the sport is actually moving in a positive way rather than just excluding each other at all. [00:12:40] Like we still play mixed doubles together. [00:12:42] We still have mixed doubles tournaments. [00:12:43] So why can't we do more activities like this or do more exhibitions like this? [00:12:47] I actually see it as a positive rather than how people are commenting on it. [00:12:51] There's always going to be negative. [00:12:53] There's always going to be people not supporting it. [00:12:55] Well, I will definitely, listen, I'm all in favour of it. [00:12:58] I will definitely watch it, but with only one aim in mind, and that is to see Arena reduce you to a blubbing mass and destroy you. [00:13:08] I'm extreme. [00:13:08] Did you say loving man? [00:13:10] No, blubbing mass. [00:13:13] Blubbing. [00:13:14] Oh, oh, oh. [00:13:14] Crying. [00:13:15] Oh, crying. [00:13:16] I knew exactly who you were going to go for. [00:13:18] I knew exactly who you were going to go for. [00:13:21] I did say 6-0 earlier. [00:13:23] Of course, I meant 6-milbert. [00:13:25] I was getting my sports mixed up with football. [00:13:27] Let me ask you, Arena. [00:13:28] It has raised the whole question again of this ongoing debate about trans athletes in women's sport, because obviously it highlights the physical disparity between men and women. [00:13:40] Martina Navatilova, a former number one, obviously like yourself, says it's wrong for the Women's Tennis Association to allow trans women to compete in its events. [00:13:50] Do you agree with that? [00:13:55] Well, that's a tricky question. [00:13:56] I have nothing to do against them, but I feel like they still got a huge advantage over the woman. [00:14:04] And I think it's just not fair to a woman to basically face the biologically man. [00:14:11] And then it's, you know, it's not fair, like the woman been working the whole life to reach her limit. [00:14:17] And then she has to face a man, which biologically much stronger. [00:14:22] So for me, I don't agree with this kind of stuff in sport. [00:14:27] Yeah, Nick, what do you feel? [00:14:28] Because I completely concur with what Arina just said. [00:14:32] Yeah, I feel the exact same way, to be honest. [00:14:37] Yeah, I've got nothing to add, but I think she hit the nail on the head there. [00:14:42] There's been, Irina, some of your opponents, Marta Kostyuk, who is a Ukrainian tennis player, claimed you have a biological advantage. [00:14:52] You're bigger, taller, and stronger. [00:14:54] And she suggested this was down to your higher testosterone levels. [00:14:58] What do you say to that? [00:15:01] That's so funny that we even talk about someone like Marta Castillo's comments. === Challenging Biological Advantages In Sport (03:37) === [00:15:06] But all I hear here is just excuses. [00:15:09] Yes. [00:15:10] And it's actually quite funny because she's a strong girl. [00:15:15] She probably has more muscles than I do. [00:15:19] And she looks fit and strong. [00:15:23] And I think that's not the case in all of the matches she lost against all players. [00:15:29] I mean, yeah, I debunked that. [00:15:31] Someone like John Isler or Ivo Karlovich was a fair bit bigger than Roger Fedora. [00:15:35] Yeah, you're always going to get physical differences between players. [00:15:38] I think that's not the key in sport. [00:15:40] I did like your response, though, Arena. [00:15:42] He responded by posting a series of bikini photos to your Instagram page. [00:15:47] Oh, yeah. [00:15:49] Showing off your feminine, your feminine charms. [00:15:52] Which I thought was a very, very, very good response. [00:15:58] You know, I just wanted to make sure that she sees the real picture. [00:16:06] Only Nick Curiosity. [00:16:08] I'm definitely not looking. [00:16:09] I'm not looking at a woman with too much testosterone there. [00:16:12] What do you think, Nick? [00:16:18] Don't drag me into this, Piers. [00:16:20] Look how kind of key he is. [00:16:21] Look, he dare not say what he's actually thinking. [00:16:27] Very sensible, young man. [00:16:29] Very sensible. [00:16:31] Rina, let me talk about a more matured with age. [00:16:35] Rina, I want to talk about something just a little bit more serious. [00:16:37] Obviously, Belarus, you've not been competing with the Belarus flag because of the ongoing war in Ukraine and Belarus's support for Russia. [00:16:45] We've got events like the Olympics coming up and so on. [00:16:48] What do you hope happens? [00:16:49] Would you like to get back to being able to compete with your nation's flag? [00:16:55] Christmas is peak time for online shopping sprees, but that also means it's peak time for hackers and data brokers who steal information online. [00:17:03] The solution is very simple. [00:18:47] Well, listen, I've always been really proud to represent such a small country and I take it as, you know, I'm an inspiration for the young kids there. [00:18:57] And, you know, for example, changing my nationality is not the case for me because I don't want to betray all that kids. [00:19:06] So I would like to represent Belarus just for the kids from that country to see me competing on a high level and get inspired by me. [00:19:14] And hopefully by my example, I'll show them that if I was able to make it from that country, from that little country in the world, make it all the way to the top, I want them to think that they also can do that. [00:19:32] Nick, I was playing golf up in Scotland with your old mate Andy Murray and you've had a little spat with Andy Murray because he wouldn't come on your podcast. [00:19:41] Full disclosure, I did when you asked me. [00:19:45] I came on, I helped you out, got your numbers up. [00:19:48] But Andy Murray didn't and you recently said I wanted him on the podcast. [00:19:52] He acted too important. [00:19:53] There's your truth. [00:19:54] It's like, bro, find some time. [00:19:56] Is this a serious rift between you? [00:20:01] Look, me and Andy would still be probably mates. [00:20:04] I'm just saying, like, you know, I reached out to Andy, you know, multiple times for my show. [00:20:09] You know, I've had amazing guests. [00:20:11] You know, I've had amazing guestmate time like yourself, Irina, Novak, Mike Tyson. [00:20:16] I've had some incredible guests. [00:20:17] And I understand we're all busy. [00:20:20] And I reached out multiple times and he actually got back to me and said, we'll find some time. [00:20:24] His team was finding time and just never happened. [00:20:26] So, you know, people were just asking me as to why I hadn't had Andy on my show as we had been great friends. [00:20:33] And the thing is, if Andy ever needed anything from me or if he wanted me to, you know, come and help out with a foundation or kids cleaning or anything, I'd be the first there. [00:20:40] So I don't think we had a spat or anything. [00:20:43] I mean, you, of all people, know how the media loves to spin things. [00:20:46] There's a little dig at you there. [00:20:48] We never had to spin anyone. [00:20:50] We never had to spin things with you because he just came out and says. [00:20:53] You hated me and you didn't like me and now you secretly love me. [00:20:56] Like, it's fine. [00:20:56] You don't have to. [00:20:57] It's not even secret. [00:20:58] I love you too. [00:20:59] I publicly love you too. [00:21:00] I love you too. [00:21:01] It's fine. [00:21:01] I publicly love you. [00:21:02] I love you too. [00:21:03] There's a lot of love in the room. [00:21:05] I'll tell you who else I want to love. [00:21:07] I recently interviewed Novak Djokovic, who I'd had a run-in with, and we had a great interview. [00:21:12] But Irina, I wanted to play you a clip about what he said about the men's number one, Yannick Sinner. [00:21:20] Is it a case of the top players get treated at a different level? [00:21:24] That cloud will follow him as the cloud of COVID will follow me for the rest of his or my career in this. [00:21:32] So I really don't like how the case was being handled. [00:21:35] And you could hear so many other players, both male and female, who had some similar situations coming out in the media and complaining that it was a preferable treatment. [00:21:48] Inarguable, yeah. [00:21:49] Yeah. [00:21:49] And so when you see someone for something very similar or same, being banned for years and then he's banned for provisional whatever, three months or whatever it was, it's just, it's not right. [00:22:01] Did you agree with that, Irina? [00:22:02] Do you think it was one rule for him because he was number one and one rule for everybody else? [00:22:08] Well, we're not sure what actually is going on there. [00:22:13] I believe in clean sport and I also believe that everyone have to be treated the same. [00:22:20] But at the same time, I don't believe that there was something in there, to be honest. [00:22:26] Me, I'm really trying to be careful with everything and overprotecting myself after a couple of cases because, you know, you can eat something in the restaurant and then you test positive. [00:22:38] And maybe that was, for example, like, I don't know, I know just a little bit about Yanni case, but just as an example, you can test positive, then you're going to go there and prove that it was just whatever food in the restaurant, for example. [00:22:52] Let's talk about the food. [00:22:54] And then that's it. [00:22:55] That's going to follow you till the end of your career. [00:22:57] Well, I think Novak's point. [00:22:59] You're kind of like innocent. [00:23:00] Yeah, I mean, Novak's point, I think, was not that he felt he doesn't. [00:23:03] I felt like everyone to be treated the same, right? [00:23:05] That was the point, is that he felt like that's, yeah, I agree that everyone have to be... [00:23:11] I agree that everyone have to be treated the same. [00:23:14] There was a similar case with Iga when they just counted her weeks off somehow like randomly. [00:23:22] Like, okay, we count, was it like in the China swing? [00:23:25] And then you can play the finals and then we take away a couple weeks from the next season. [00:23:31] So, I think, yeah, we should come to the same treatment to every player. [00:23:36] So, you think he was given special treatment? [00:23:40] Today's show is sponsored by Oxford Natural, makers of the Optimum Day and Optimum Night All Natural Supplements. [00:24:27] I don't really think so, but I feel like we need to dig a bit deeper in the case to make these comments. [00:24:37] I just believe that. [00:24:39] Let me make it simpler. [00:24:39] Do you think if he'd been number 600 in the world, do you think he'd have got a three-month ban? [00:24:50] Well, if, if, if, who knows, right? [00:24:53] So, what's that? [00:24:58] No, I mean, it's just if, you know, like, we don't know what do you think like look, you obviously know my stance on it. [00:25:08] Um, and I don't, I don't think, like, talking about it now is, you know, I think that the key thing what Novak says was he said that, you know, whether it was there or whether it wasn't there, whether he was, you know, whether it meant to be there or not, he's still responsible. [00:25:20] And I think just the way the case was handled as a whole was very, was very like, it wasn't a good look for the sport. [00:25:28] I think, I mean, he was our number one tennis player in the world. [00:25:31] I think that the media around our sport at that time wasn't good. [00:25:34] It was the only thing people were talking about, and I was responsible for that. [00:25:37] And we shouldn't have that back and forth with individual players online. [00:25:42] Like, why are we being, you know, the people that are competing against him, why are we being held that information? [00:25:47] We should be able to know exactly what's going on. [00:25:49] Why is the trial behind closed doors? [00:25:51] We should be able to see what's going on. [00:25:53] But at the same time, look, the way he bounced back from it too is amazing. [00:25:56] Like, as much as me and Yannick Sina have differences, I think the way he took the ban, he took it away from the sport, then he came back and pretty much nearly won Romo. [00:26:04] I don't know. [00:26:05] I think he lost the Alcros in the final. [00:26:07] Like, he did, you know, he took his time off and he came back and he came better. [00:26:11] And there's no doubt that he's going to be one of the greatest players of all time. [00:26:14] Well, that raises an interesting debate. [00:26:17] Yeah, I mean, the other debate I had with Novak is: you know, I think he is now, I would say, pretty much inarguably the greatest male tennis player ever. [00:26:26] Would you agree with that, Nick? [00:26:29] Who's this? [00:26:30] Novak Djokovic. [00:26:32] Yeah, Novak's the goat. [00:26:34] I thought you were about to say that Yannick Sina was the goat. [00:26:36] I was about to leave this interview. [00:26:38] No, you think Novak's the greatest ever, as things stand? [00:26:42] Yeah, I think Novak's the greatest ever. [00:26:44] That's for sure. [00:26:45] Numbers show that. [00:26:46] And who do you think? [00:26:47] Although. [00:26:48] Arena, who do you think is the greatest female player ever? [00:26:54] We're talking numbers for sure, Serena. [00:26:59] What other criteria can you? [00:27:00] But my favorite is Steffi Grafilova. [00:27:06] Yeah, of course. [00:27:08] Do you think Pete? [00:27:10] Would Peak Sabalenka beat all of them? [00:27:15] Oh, no, no chance. [00:27:16] Like, I don't have that much time to reach all of the achievement that they've done. [00:27:22] I think you do. [00:27:22] I really do. [00:27:24] I'm not bad, but I'm not the goat. [00:27:27] Look, I think the sport changes. [00:27:30] Athletes get better. [00:27:30] You know, I'm a big believer. [00:27:31] Like, we've got better technology. [00:27:33] We have, you know, things like better recovery. [00:27:35] I think she does. [00:27:36] I mean, and I think Alcaraz and Sinna are arguably now playing the same level as some of the tennis that Federa Doll and Jocks are playing. [00:27:43] They have the ability to get to those numbers. [00:27:46] We saw Arena that Serena Williams has filed the paperwork for a potential return to tennis. [00:27:53] Do you think that she's planning a comeback? [00:27:57] From what I know, not at all, but if she, yeah, if she applied, so it means that she's planning to play something. [00:28:07] That's for sure. [00:28:09] Maybe, I don't know, for Olympics it's too early, but maybe USOPA next year or something. [00:28:14] Why not? [00:28:15] It's going to be fun to watch. [00:28:16] Maybe she's come to knock you off your perch. [00:28:21] I don't know if that's going to happen, Piers. [00:28:23] We'll see. [00:28:24] Would you beat her, do you think? [00:28:26] Arena, if you played her? [00:28:30] I mean, I cannot predict that, but I would definitely go out there and I would give my very best. [00:28:34] And I know that at my very best, I can beat anyone. [00:28:40] Just not me. [00:28:43] Please beat him. [00:28:44] Please beat him. [00:28:46] I will. [00:28:47] Whatever it takes. [00:28:48] All right. [00:28:49] I mean, you're already richer than him. [00:28:50] I will start. [00:28:51] You're already richer than him. [00:28:52] As I said before, I'm going to send some people, make sure that he's like out partying and not really ready. [00:29:00] I mean, she is comfortably. [00:29:02] She's so stressed. [00:29:02] Look at this. [00:29:03] She's comfortably richer than you, isn't she, Nick? [00:29:06] Yes. [00:29:07] How do you feel about it? [00:29:08] How do you feel about it? [00:29:09] She's amazing. [00:29:09] Yeah, I mean, she's richer. [00:29:11] She'd be richer than most. [00:29:13] But at the same time, you know, look, that's not something that I, you know, I've been, as you know, I've been through some dark times in my tennis career, so everything now is an absolute bonus for me, regardless of the money. [00:29:24] And, you know, I've seen what her superpowers are on the court. [00:29:28] But, you know, as I mean, I didn't want to bring it up, but, you know, there's a kid here who has, you know, stage four cancer that's hanging around with me all day. [00:29:34] And I see how his eyes lit up when he saw me and then when he saw Sabuelenka. [00:29:39] And I think, you know, that's the best thing that we have. [00:29:43] We're heroes to these kids and we can make such an impact. [00:29:45] So I don't think I'm ever going to catch her on the prize money standfront. [00:29:50] I'm not going to sit here and say that. [00:29:51] Well, not given that. [00:29:53] Irina, apparently, you watched $30 million in 2025. [00:29:58] Is that right? [00:30:00] I don't know. [00:30:01] I need to check my background colour right now. [00:30:05] That's pretty good numbers. [00:30:06] So if you just slide me a little couple more, I'll let you win in goodbye. [00:30:11] All right, final question. [00:30:13] Final question. [00:30:14] As we head towards the new battle of the sexes, give me a score prediction, please. [00:30:18] Nick, Kyrios, you go first. [00:30:24] I'm going to say a tight two-set battle. [00:30:28] And what are the scores? [00:30:29] A tight two-set battle. [00:30:30] And what are the scores? [00:30:31] Maybe, I think the first set, I'm going to be nervous. [00:30:34] I'm going to be, you know, a little bit, maybe a little 7-5, 7-6. [00:30:39] And then the second set, I think that the tension will just relieve off my shoulders and then the crowd will start coming to my side. [00:30:46] And then it'll be easy coasting in the second. [00:30:49] The whole stadium is going to be cheering for me. [00:30:51] Oh, they are. [00:30:52] So just to be clear, 7-5 and what? [00:30:54] 6-love? [00:30:57] No, 7-5, 7-5-6-3. [00:30:59] Okay, Arena, your prediction. [00:31:03] Well, I'll be nice to him, so I'll win the first set, 7-6. [00:31:09] And then he's going to get tighter. [00:31:12] Tighter. [00:31:13] Yeah, of course. [00:31:14] And then I'm going to get him 6-3. [00:31:16] I need to win the first set, that's for sure. [00:31:18] 7-6-6-3. [00:31:19] Well, I can tell you. [00:31:20] You know, he's just going to start thinking that he's about to lose to a woman, and then there's guys from ATP putting him. [00:31:27] Arena, let me tell you, he's going to crack under the pressure. [00:31:30] You need to keep saying to him, keep whispering in his ear when you do the little sit-down. [00:31:34] Just keep whispering. [00:31:36] Everybody wants you to lose. [00:31:38] Look at this crowd. [00:31:39] Everybody in the world wants you to lose. [00:31:42] And then he's going to throw a tantrum. [00:31:44] That old story's getting old, Piers. [00:31:46] You know you will. [00:31:48] If you get taken down by a woman, you're going to throw the biggest tantrum of your life. [00:31:53] You know it, and I know it. [00:31:54] But it's the best tantrum in the world. [00:31:57] It's the best tantrum in the world. [00:31:58] And I'm at least. [00:31:59] We have to be in this wind with the best. [00:32:01] We have the best female tennis player in the world against the best male tantrum frog. [00:32:05] It's a perfect mix. [00:32:07] Guys, thank you both very much. [00:32:09] I've loved the interview. [00:32:10] I will be watching enthralled when you do battle. [00:32:13] But Arena, don't even think about losing. [00:32:16] All right? [00:32:18] There is no way. [00:32:19] Thanks for your good luck, Piers. [00:32:20] I really appreciate it, mate. [00:32:21] Take care, guys. [00:32:22] All the best. [00:32:25] Thank you.
