| And when I look at music videos, when I look at the number of people tweeting about Love Island, absolutely nothing has changed. | |
| People are so interested in inane bullshit, That it's almost they don't realize, not only how fucked the world is, but how fucked their own life is. | |
| There's so many people out there who, if a movie was made about their life, they wouldn't even be the main character. | |
| They're so busy supporting a football team, watching Love Island, Caring about going to festivals and caring about some singer. | |
| They're not even important amongst themselves. | |
| I've seen people go on dates, a man and a woman, and they're sitting there getting to know each other based on what other people have done. | |
| Well, I like this movie. | |
| Oh, I like that movie too. | |
| I like this artist. | |
| Yeah, I like this person. | |
| They're a really good singer. | |
| Like, they're talking about other people's achievements to validate their own personality. | |
| That's who they are. | |
| Me as a person, I'm the person who worships the following people. | |
| Beta is loser. | |
| And people are losers. | |
| I get so many people message me saying, Tate, how did you make money? | |
| How did you make money? | |
| And I tell them how to make money. | |
| I tell people, I tell everyone how to make money. | |
| And they just stop replying, because they don't like the answer. | |
| I say, how many friends do you have? | |
| They say, well, I've got a lot of friends. | |
| I said, OK, when you meet with your friends, what do you talk about? | |
| They say, oh, we talk about whatever's going on at the moment, or we talk about football, we talk about whatever else. | |
| I say, fuck that off. | |
| Anyone who doesn't talk about money, don't talk to. | |
| Me and my friends, me and my brother, every single time we sit down, Talk about money. | |
| That's it. | |
| We're sitting right now in a restaurant. | |
| I mean, we can look around and see how much did this place cost to build, how many customers are in here, how much does a coffee cost, what perfect margin they make on that coffee. | |
| Since the beginning, before we had anything, we've always just sat and talked about money. | |
| Everyone I've ever associated with has spoken about money. | |
| We don't waste our time talking about anything else. | |
| So in general, your enemy It's the entertainment which is provided, pumped out to the masses. | |
| As soon as you start giving a fuck about Rihanna, giving a fuck about Love Island, caring about Glastonbury, as soon as you start caring about these things instead of caring about how to make your own life better, you're fucked. | |
| That's a spiral that never ends. | |
| You'll go to this place and you'll get pissed, you'll go to the next place and you'll get pissed, go here and get pissed, and you pretend your life's good for a little while, in between working your 9 to 5 and being semi-suicidal. | |
| Entertainment is absolutely the enemy. | |
| The only thing I've ever enjoyed, for as long as I can remember, is achieving cycling. | |
| I enjoyed being a good kickboxer because it was an achievement, and I enjoyed becoming rich because it's an achievement. | |
| If all you do, the only thing you enjoy, is achievement, you're going to achieve things. | |
| It's as simple as that. | |

| So what I did is I cut out the bullshit conversations you're having, I cut out the dumb people you talk to, anyone and everyone I associate with, It's purely financially focused and when you start hanging around all those kind of people, you realize it's not that difficult to make money. | |
