BREAKING: John Brennan Faces INDICTMENT in Florida!? MSNBC Melts Down In Panic

John Brennan faces an alleged indictment in South Florida regarding conspiracies to undermine Donald Trump, linking the Russia investigation, 2020 election interference, and the Mar-a-Lago search. The report cites Tulsi Gabbard's claims of Obama-era obstruction, Brennan's controversial "I do intelligence" testimony, and his alleged threats against a journalist. Concurrently, Nancy Pelosi faces scrutiny over her refusal to deploy the National Guard on January 6th, while Elise Stefanik considers challenging Kathy Hochul for New York governor amid accusations of misuse of taxpayer funds. The segment concludes with an FCC investigation into major networks for Democratic bias during the government shutdown and the cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel's show following controversy over a joke regarding Tyler Robinson's murder. John Brennan Under Fire 00:03:45
John Brennan's having a really bad day.
MSNBC is having a really bad day, you know, because he's a MSNBC contributor and they're not too happy with how this may all be going down.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've got some big breaking news to bring you today on The Trish Regan Show as this investigation into everything went down.
And I mean everything because there was a whole lot of stuff, like multiple components.
It's kind of hard to keep it all straight.
They just kept going back for more and more and more and more.
And now John Brennan. is allegedly about to be indicted by the DOJ.
This is coming to us, actually courtesy of MSNBC, who's reporting it first.
It seems that the South Florida DOJ, U.S. Attorney's Office, is building their case.
So, Brandon, watch out.
We are all over this.
Welcome to the program, everyone.
It's really good to have you here as we get into the intricacies of what's really going on here.
And it's a lot.
It's a lot.
It's a lot.
Because if you recall, Tulsi Yabbard, brought to us a whole lot of information that suggested there was, in fact, a definite effort to undermine Donald Trump as he came into the presidency in his first term.
In addition to that, there was another effort to make sure that Biden was elected over Trump in 2020.
And they did that by way of, oh, Politico, which, by the way, I believe was getting USAID money, interestingly enough.
And they put that 51X Spook and Spies letter into Politico.
Brennan had a hand in that.
Anyway, it's all coming back to haunt them.
I mean, Rand Paul must be pretty happy because he was asking a lot of questions of Brennan there in front of Congress.
And in his view, Brennan was effectively lying in some of those answers.
So we'll get to all of that.
But first, to MSNBC first reporting the news.
Now, don't forget, John Brennan is an MSNBC contributor.
Who doesn't want to go from being the head of the CIA to working for MSNBC?
Kind of a downfall, but whatever.
Here is the MSNBC host explaining it all.
They're freaking out.
Well, so John Brennan is one of the key figures in what really is a massive and sprawling investigation as envisioned down in South Florida.
And the reason it's down there, and that's new, that we're reporting today that the U.S. Attorney in South Florida is leading this investigation, is because that's where the Mar-Lago search was.
And so what they're trying to do here is knit together what they see as an ongoing conspiracy to violate Donald Trump's civil rights that began with the Russia investigation and continued on from the Obama administration to the Biden administration.
And then somehow includes the Jack Smith investigations.
It's his unified field theory of persecuting Donald Trump.
Uh, and John Brennan, of course, was a central figure in the preparation of that 2017 assessment into Russian election interference.
Uh, and, and of course, the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation figures into that.
How this all shakes out, Katie, is anyone's guess because, you know, we've not seen any evidence connecting any of these things, let alone any wrongdoing.
And in point of fact, as you well know, John Durham, the special counsel appointed in the Trump administration, looked exhaustively, particularly at the Russian interference assessment and at the FBI's crossfire hurricane investigation, and found no criminal wrongdoing by John Brennan or any other major figure.
But here the Justice Department is trying to take another crack at this, as we understand.
Lisa?
Yeah.
I think what Ken has just postulated is maybe the most reasonable theory.
So there's a lot.
Okay.
When we get to Brennan, I mean, there's a lot.
And you heard the legal contributor guy on MSNBC try and outline some of those things.
Tulsi's Allegations Exposed 00:03:08
But we're talking about basically what Tulsi has alleged, which is a definite effort, in her view, by the Obama administration to.
Basically make it extraordinarily difficult for Donald Trump to get off and running when he came into office back in 2017.
So after winning 2016 against Hillary Clinton, they were trying to come up with some way to make it rocky for him so he wouldn't be off to a great start.
And then there's the 2020 thing with the Hunter Biden laptop.
And then there's the Mar-a-Lago thing.
In other words, it goes on and on and on.
And he seems to be a central figure in all of this.
I want to go to Tulsi Gabbard, who just a short time ago, going back a couple of weeks or maybe even a couple of months here, when she was coming out with all of this information, and it was pretty prevalent.
We were covering it here daily on the show because it was massive what she was exposing.
And we've got all these classified files that are now declassified, and nobody else was covering it.
Like literally nobody else was covering it.
And you didn't see it represented in the mainstream media at all, something that Tulsi picked right up on.
Listen.
Mainstream media has either refused to cover this story at all.
The headlines or the lack thereof of newspapers, Washington Post, New York Times, and others in the days following this release have actually been.
Quite deafening in their lack of coverage.
And it's interesting to see how, when they do cover this, they don't actually cover the revelations that these intelligence reports and the evidence that we released actually conveys to the American people.
They simply talk about their criticisms of it or convey Democrat politicians' criticisms of it, but none of them actually dealing with the truth that has been revealed.
And to me, there's two reasons for that.
Number one is they don't want the American people to know the truth.
But also, they recognize the mainstream media's complicity in this.
That they were fed early lines from this manufactured false intelligence assessment that President Obama ordered, that John Brennan and James Clapper created without any vetting, without any actual journalistic integrity of looking at what they were being fed.
They received it and they printed it almost immediately.
And then they went on to double down and triple down on this over the next several years.
So they're kind of embarrassed.
That's part of the story as well.
By the way, I do want to point out that the FCC, it looks like it's widening its investigation into big media, the big three media networks, amid a report from our friends over at Media Research Center that shows complete bias in how the shutdown has been covered.
But that's the shutdown.
I mean, let's go back to what Tulsi was saying in terms of the bias of all of this.
For example, they're saying that anything that anybody says about Brennan, et cetera, as you heard MSNBC so well articulate its position, that guy, I believe he's supposed to be like a reporter.
Okay, like the reporter is saying, this is all bogus.
And it goes back to what Tulsi is saying.
Every time they report on it, they make sure to tell you all the reasons why it doesn't make any sense at all.
Comey and Disinformation 00:15:46
Something that Brennan himself has encouraged over and over and over again.
Just look at how he responded to Tulsi.
Tulsi Gabbard, you know, she may be impaired on the ethics front, certainly, but she's not impaired on the intellect front.
And so I can only presume that she is doing this intentionally, intentionally mischaracterizing, misrepresenting, and lying. about what she has found.
Woo!
Okay.
He's like, that dumb brud's a total liar, okay?
So that's his excuse.
But again, we've seen a lot of the documents and it certainly raises a lot of questions.
I want to go to a confrontation with Brennan and an independent journalist, I believe a journalist.
They were at some event and this was earlier, I believe in November, just maybe a couple of days ago.
And there's this confrontation between the two of them.
And he starts saying, well, we never said it was disinformation, which, by the way, is not totally true because the site they chose to put this on, that would be Politico, it actually was headlined that the Hunter Biden laptop was nothing but Russian disinformation.
And so when Brennan gets into this scuffle with this other guy and says, it was, and by the way, watch how aggressive he is.
It's a little bit hard to hear, but I'm here with you and I'll translate if needed.
But he's like, pointing at the guy and like looks like he wants to get in a fist fight with him.
It's sort of wild.
And he's like, we never said it was disinformation.
Watch.
Okay.
He said, we never said you misrepresent that we never said it was disinformation.
We said it was Russian influence operations.
And he's like, boo, and I'm going to punch you, buddy, if you dare say otherwise.
Here we go.
That's what they do.
There's a big difference between influence operators and the big difference.
No, you don't know that.
You don't know.
You only knew.
The literature said you had all Marx.
I'm kind of thinking that.
The Brennans get like some anger management issues.
We didn't say that.
We didn't say that.
It wasn't a Russian disinformation.
It was, you know, and yet again, we go back to how it was characterized in the site itself, in political, when they published that letter, when they said, we are all individuals who devoted significant portions of our lives to national security.
Some of us served in senior positions in policy departments and agencies, and some of us served in senior positions in the intelligence community.
Some of us were political pointies.
Some of us were career officials.
Many of us worked for both presidents.
And by the way, we're all a bunch of spooks and hacks.
Those are my words, not theirs.
Anyway, they go on and on about how they believe that that Hunter Biden laptop, which was being investigated by the FBI and they knew was real, was nothing but A Russian information operation.
All the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.
Now, let me just tell you, when they put this headline in Politico, I guarantee you that if they felt it was inappropriate to call it disinformation, then guess what?
Politico, who seems to have been spoon-fed this letter, this letter, I'm looking at it, okay?
The 51X spooks and hacks. who go on to have little careers.
I could say something else, but I won't.
Little careers at MSNBC.
I mean, you're a former head of the CIA.
To see him the other day, somebody confronted him on a Washington train platform, and he was like all alone.
It was so dystopian looking, really.
I'm like, you're all alone.
You're the former head of the CIA, for goodness sakes.
You're all alone.
So they must not pay much there at MSNBC.
He can't afford the SUV.
Not like not like Jasmine Crockett.
I mean, she's got her SUV.
Don't forget, even if she has to have a staffer rent one and drive her around in it, she's got her SUV.
Brennan, on the other hand, is taking the subway in D.C. Good thing Donald Trump's cleaning the place up, right?
Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to do that, Brennan.
Anyway, Brennan is insisting somehow that they're all lying, that he's totally fine.
Somehow, when you start threatening to get, like, physical with somebody, I'm starting to doubt you, you know?
One doth protest too much.
Here he is speaking before Congress back in 2017 and making the point that, you know, He doesn't do evidence, literally.
I don't do evidence.
I do intelligence.
Oh, and mind you, there is a difference.
You see, intelligence has a point of view.
They are solving for something else.
They know the outcome that they want.
Now they just have to, you know, sort of massage it, manipulate it, but they have no hard evidence.
Just like, why would you ever sign onto this letter, you 51X spooks and hacks, if you don't have the hard evidence, for goodness sakes, because it's your credibility.
Which has been ruined, as has the mainstream media.
More on that in just a moment because the FCC is widening its investigation.
Take a look at Brennan.
I don't do evidence.
Did you find direct evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Putin in Moscow while you were there?
Mr. Rooney, I never was an FBI agent, I never was a prosecutor, so I really don't do evidence.
I do intelligence throughout the course of my career.
As an intelligence professional, what we try to do is to make sure that we provide all relevant information.
to the Bureau if there is an investigation underway that they are looking into criminal activity.
As I mentioned earlier.
I love that.
I don't do evidence.
I do intelligence.
My gosh.
I mean, and when you think of the kinds of intelligence that they were trying to gather, whether it be in the intel community or whether it be at the FBI, it's pretty remarkable.
It's pretty striking.
And it was like they just kept going back for more and more and more and more, and they kept coming up empty-handed.
I mean, I go back to that Russian dossier.
And believe me, I read the entire Mueller report, one and two.
Donald Trump didn't, okay, need I say, I think you guys know, but that dirty dossier that they referred to, that never happened.
But I could have told you that.
In fact, I did tell you that.
If I go back to 2016, I have a little show on Fox.
I was like, this is ridiculous.
And by the way, I read the thing before it was even published.
I think BuzzFeed was one of the first to publish it.
And it was like, guys, this is obviously disinformation.
Frankly, it was like a political hit job.
It's something that you would see in STAR Magazine at the grocery store counter.
It was not written like an actual intel document at all.
Okay, so that was tip-off number one.
So for somebody to go out there and publish that and then for them to kind of ride that all the way the way they did.
James Comey was involved in this as well and, don't forget, he was caught saying, oh I, I didn't talk to reporters ever, and now we've got all this information suggesting, oh yeah, Comey was like leaking like a sieve okay, and he had his friend at Columbia helping him do it meanwhile.
Well, here's the handwritten letter.
Okay, This is on FBI stationery.
And Halligan, the U.S. attorney in Virginia, just came forward with this one the other day.
Unbelievable stuff.
I mean, you have to translate it because you'd think he's a doctor the way he writes with that handwriting, but it's on FBI stationery.
And he was talking about undermining HRC confidence in the system, HRC plans to go after Trump, HRC in her health.
I don't know what that's about.
Maybe they were concerned about her health.
Certainly the Russians knew about some of the health issues, and that didn't get exposed a lot by the Russians.
So it would actually make you think they weren't really trying to help.
Donald Trump, because if they were, they would have exposed that stuff they had plans to to talk about Donald Trump's debt to Moscow and Kerry was going to do that and and his financial situation with Moscow, of which there was none.
I mean, Deutsche BANK out of Germany was his lender, but not the bank that they were trying to say out of Russia.
So the whole thing has has now been unraveled and exposed, and there's emails right between Comey, who went by Reinhold Neiberer, 7 at gmail.com.
I just love saying that.
I mean, who goes with Reinhold?
Pick an Italian name or something for goodness sake.
Sorry, nothing against Germany, but Reinhold, my goodness gracious, to his friend Danny Richmond, who was at Columbia Law.
And, you know, they're talking about, do you need me to help you with an op-ed?
This guy's on retainer for the FBI.
He's on retainer for the FBI.
And he's being, you know, do you need me to write an op-ed, this whole thing?
I mean, it's kind of outrageous.
You want to talk about state media.
They're like, do we need something in the New York Times?
Because I can do it in the New York Times op-ed page.
They asked me to write something on you.
So is everybody working together here?
Kind of makes you wonder.
And then he says, no need.
At this point, it would be sort of shouting into the wind.
And at some point, they'll figure it out.
And as Jack and Ben point out, my decision will be one as president-elect or that president-elect Clinton will be very grateful for, although she doesn't know why I did it.
Woo-hoo!
So, I mean, and then we get all the text messages.
This has all come out.
And don't forget, this is the guy who told us he didn't talk to reporters.
Yeah, right.
Ow.
There's this little thing called tape.
Director Comey, have you ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?
Never.
Have you ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?
No.
I needed to get that out into the public square.
And so I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo.
With a reporter, didn't do it myself for a variety of reasons, but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.
And there we have it.
Yeah, there we have it.
Okay, so again, this handwritten note from Comey, that's a big deal.
But he's already been indicted.
He's trying to get out of the indictment.
He's trying to say, oh, no, you can't indict me because, Lindsay, you're not official.
You're just a beauty queen from Colorado.
As I've said before, do not pick on beauty queens.
You know, we're smarter than we look.
Anyway.
I think she was a Miss Colorado, Miss Colorado runner-up, something like that.
Anyway, she is still going after him, and she has the authority, by the way, of the president, even though she hasn't been confirmed by the Senate, because she is there on a temporary basis.
And so I'm not sure that his argument's going to hold.
You've got Letitia, who has a similar argument, trying to say that Lindsey Halligan is not able to go after her because of these things.
I think Pam Bondi is going to be stepping in and making it very clear that, yes, they're going to continue going after them.
But so you've got comey indicted and now Brennan is kind of freaking out because Brennan is most likely the next in line.
I mean, we have talked about none other than the Schiff show, right?
Adam Schiff possibly being next.
That's on the mortgage fraud allegation, but this one's just bigger.
Okay.
Like this is much, much bigger.
And I think like if we go in the line of like fish to fry, granted, Letitia, frankly, the woman deserved it.
I mean, when you're going after someone just because of their politics, trying to Bankrupt them in the process.
I'm sorry, this lady deserved four days after a judge ordered Donald Trump to pay $355 million for a decade of fraud.
New York Attorney General Letitia James says she's prepared to do everything she can to make sure the former president pays his fine, including, she told us, seizing the buildings that bear his name.
If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek, you know, judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets.
She was just dying to do that.
She could not wait to get in there.
We're going to talk about local elections in a little bit because I think they are in some ways a wake-up call.
I want to get to that.
But first, back to Brennan, back to what we're seeing with Comey, and back to what we might soon see with Nancy Pelosi.
So Nancy Pelosi, as you guys well know, is out, out, out, out.
She has announced that she is resigning from politics for good.
And a lot of people are like, wait a second, why is she doing this?
Is it because of Mamdami?
Is it because of AOC?
Sure, that may be part of it.
She's basically lost her party, which is pretty sad.
And so she's trying to figure out like damage control.
But the other reason people are talking about right now is this reopening of the J6 investigation by the Trump team because they're trying to figure out just exactly why there was a phone tolling.
I have to be careful on the word tapping because it wasn't wiretapping.
It was tolling where they were gathering all the metadata information.
One senator talks to this person, who talks to this person and before you know it, they got 30 million phone records of how long they were talking, who they were talking to and where those people were when they were talking.
And so this is all come up and people are saying, wait a second, was J6 just an excuse to try and take down Maga?
Was that all this was about possibly?
I mean, I remember wondering at the time and i'm not being an excuse for anything, don't get me wrong but like I wondered at the time, like why didn't Nancy Pelosi choose to call in the National Guard, like she could have?
Apparently, they had a meeting a couple days before and she didn't think it was necessary.
Are you kidding me?
You're supposed to have this giant protest and you don't think that you want to have like some security around there?
That's a little weird.
I'm just saying, like, just a little bit weird.
And now this is coming up.
Watch.
Congresswoman Pelosi, are you at all concerned that the new January 6th committee will find you liable for that day?
Are you at all concerned about the new January 6th committee finding you liable for that day?
Why did you refuse the National Guard on January 6th?
Shut up.
I did not refuse the National Guard.
The president didn't send it.
Why are you coming here with Republican talking points as if you're a serious journalist?
The American people want to know.
We still have questions.
Thank you.
I love the reporter's smile at the end, too, as she looks back at the camera.
Yeah, people want to know, you know who else has called her out on this?
The former head of the Capitol Police, Chief Stephen Sund.
Because as recently as this, I believe this was over the summer.
Yeah, this summer, she's starting to say, oh, Donald Trump delayed deploying the National Guard on January 6th when our Capitol was under violent attack and lives are at stake.
Now he's activating the D.C. Guard to distract from his incompetent mishandling, blah, blah, blah, terrorists, et cetera.
And, you know, of course, he activated the National Guard and they were very successful in reducing a lot of the crime there.
And the guy's response, ma'am, it's long past time to be honest with the American people.
On January 3rd, I requested National Guard assistance, but your sergeant at arms denied it.
Under federal law, to USC 1970, I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval.
That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon ordered National Guard support, but was forced to decline.
Denied National Guard Aid 00:02:23
But I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.
authority on January 6th while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your sergeant at arms denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, quote, running it up the chain for your approval.
When I needed assistance, it was denied.
Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with special wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of National Guard troops.
I mean, Whoa, way to blow the lid off of Nancy.
So she is in trouble.
And there's some suggestion that she actually might get in a whole lot more trouble.
It gets even worse because you see, the Federalists had done some reporting showing that there was evidence that they were hiding what Donald Trump had done.
He had tried to push for the National Guard on that day, and that never came out.
And remember he said that?
He's like, I was calling for it.
I was asking for it.
And then they wouldn't do it.
And they said, like, Nancy had to call for it.
And Nancy wasn't willing to do it.
You heard what she just told that reporter recently.
That was just recently, like within the last couple of weeks.
But there's this little piece of evidence that somehow, somehow escaped.
I don't know if this was part of the Alexandra Pelosi documentary filmmaker version of things.
And it was on the, you know, the cutting room floor and somehow it was released or exactly how.
I don't know how it came to be, but it's real.
And this is the soundbite of Nancy Pelosi in the car as she realizes as she's spinning off and she's leaving that she has screwed up.
Watch.
We have responsibility, Terry.
We did not have any accountability for what was going on there, and we should have.
This is ridiculous.
You're going to ask me in the middle of the thing when they've already breached the inaugural stuff that should we call the Capitol Police?
I mean, the National Guard?
Why weren't the National Guard there to begin with?
They thought that they had sufficient resources.
No, there's not a question of how they have been.
They don't know.
They clearly didn't know, and I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for war.
Okay, I take responsibility.
Hochul Faces Scrutiny 00:07:01
Well, she should take responsibility because, as Stephen's son pointed out, he waited for 70 minutes for her to do something and had to get run up the food chain, and she wasn't willing to okay it.
What the heck was that about?
Oh, too busy, too busy working with my daughter on her documentary filmmaker thing.
I mean, I think that's just wild.
I'm just going to tell you, if you think it's going to be a big event, why don't you bring like a real journalist crew in?
Why are you bringing your daughter?
I mean, you want to talk about nepotism.
You want to talk about conflict of interest, all of those things, all that footage that you saw in primetime because they made it into a primetime special, the J6 hearings, that was all shot by Alexandra Pelosi.
The CNN stuff that they were showing on a loop, that was all shot by Alexandra Pelosi.
You'd think CNN was there.
Nope, it was Alexandra.
So that just in and of itself, you're losing me.
You're losing me as a journalist on that stuff.
Kathy Hochul, this is big news.
Kathy Hochul, watch out.
Watch out, lady, because you know what?
Elise Stefanik is coming for your gig.
And judging by some of the polls I've seen, she may just get it.
New poll out just last week showing Elise Stefanik, before she had even announced she was running for governor of New York, suggesting she might win, at least by a point.
It's not much yet, but I have some suspicion that those numbers are going to grow in Elise's favor.
Take a look at her announcement here on Fox and Friends this morning.
I'm running for governor to make New York affordable and safe.
We have seen decades of single party rule led by Democrats, and Kathy Hochul is the worst governor in America.
New York is the most unaffordable state in the nation with the highest taxes, the highest energy bills, the highest utility bills.
We also have a crime crisis because Kathy Hochul has brought us failed bail reform and has embraced the defund the police Democrats.
And after this week, Ainsley, when we saw a raging anti Semite, pro Hamas communist who wants to raise taxes.
And frankly, he barely won the majority of New York City voters.
Kathy Hochul endorsed him and bent the knee.
She has failed New Yorkers.
So, this is a broad coalition of Republicans, independents, and Democrats who know that enough is enough.
We need common sense leadership to make New York affordable and safe again.
Wow.
Okay.
I have a feeling she can do it.
You look at Kathy Hochul's.
Oh, I don't have her numbers right here.
Forgive me.
This is Attorney General James.
Oh, yeah.
Attorney General James is in some serious trouble as well, both in Albany and, of course, in Virginia.
And now, She's in a lot of trouble.
Well, Kathy is in addition because Kathy's the one who earmarked $10 million, $10 million for Letitia James to spend on her legal fees.
This is Kathy making the decision they're going to use taxpayer dollars.
So Elise jumped on this one, writing Tish James' actions embody the corruption among New York elected Democrats led by Kathy Hochul.
I recently exposed how Governor Kathy Hochul and Albany Democrats secretly inserted language into the state budget to cover James' legal expenses, which taxpayer money, 10 million bucks.
This abuse of power is an insult to New Yorkers already struggling with high taxes.
You better believe it.
And you know what else is fascinating?
Tish James after this came out and said, well, I'm not going to do it.
I'm not going to use taxpayer dollars because she realized it was incredibly unpopular, both for her and for Kathy Holkle.
So they decided she wasn't going to do it.
But guess what we learned this week?
What do you know?
She had some filings that she had to do in Albany because she's being accused of violating The then president, he was, well, he had been president, Donald Trump's rights, his civil rights.
And guess what?
Look at this.
I highlighted it.
Those were paid by state.
The lawyers were paid with state taxpayer dollars.
So this is getting exposed.
I'm telling you, Elise is going to be able to run on this stuff all day long.
This is not going to play well in Peoria, as they say.
And, you know, look, Elise may ride it all the way to Albany herself.
Kathy Holkle's out, but the other person that's going to be out one way or another.
I mean, again, if you go back to the polls, look at Letitia way underwater.
I mean, Her favorable ratings are less than one Chuck Schumer.
And that was before the multiple indictments.
I have a feeling that you're going to see Kathy Hochul out.
You're going to see Letitia James out.
And, well, you might even see her in prison.
If you listen to Mike Davis, the former attorney for one Donald Trump, that's exactly where she's heading.
Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General.
I dare you.
I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term.
Because listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time, and we will put you in prison for conspiracy against rights.
And I promise you that.
So he promises her.
He promises her.
Good luck to Elise.
Sorry, Kathy.
What can we say?
More stuff to tell you about today because the media is under fire right now.
Media is under fire amid a new report from our friends over at Media Research Center, aka Newsbusters.
They're really good at getting all those clips of Whoopi Goldberg.
So I appreciate it.
appreciate them doing that.
Anyway, they have a serious operation there where they look at every minute in these evening news broadcasts and in these morning shows on broadcast TV.
I'm talking about ABC, which is in a lot of trouble right now.
I mean, so much trouble that they're like cracking down on Whoopi live on set.
Jimmy Kimmel, he doesn't have a show tonight.
We don't know exactly what that one's about.
Anyway, FCC investigation into big media companies is getting wider and wider and wider.
And it's in part because of this report.
They found that 87% of network media TV is favoring Democrats in this shutdown.
Even though, don't forget, all they had to do was say, we're going to give you a clean CR and we can, you know, work through all this stuff later.
And instead, they insisted that they had to get that $1.5 trillion that would be for health care that goes out to the states that Democrats say is necessary.
And the president is saying, no way, no way, because it's going to go to illegals.
And I'm sorry, you guys brought everybody here illegally and it's not acceptable.
This is the new study.
Check this out from Newsbusters.
87% of government shutdown coverage on ABC, CBS, and NBC favored Democrats.
This isn't journalism.
They write it's propaganda.
And they're right.
This is propaganda.
I mean, you can't have this kind of bias.
I mean, I guess we're ahead of the game because it's not 99%.
87%.
Consider that a win, guys, because most of the time it was 99% in favor of Biden, 99% in opposition of Donald Trump.
Then when Kamala came along, same old story.
Here, at least it's only, you know, 87% of the time you could consider that a win.
But I'm telling you, they're getting nervous because the FCC is in there.
Brandon Cars made it very.
clear, you know what?
These broadcast operations have a responsibility.
They're different than cable.
Media Bias Revealed 00:03:00
And I've talked to you about that, right?
And just to reiterate, the reason they're different is because they were set up in the 1930s with a specific Communications Act charter.
And because of that, they have a responsibility to the community for community service and good.
And they're governed by the FCC.
But in the case of cable, or hey, you know, over here on YouTube or Spotify, make sure you go and sign up for the Spotify if you would too.
It helps.
We're up to almost, we might be at 15,000 right now, but, you know, it doesn't quite compare to what we're doing here on YouTube.
Up over a million.
Thank you so much, guys.
I mean, this is incredible, just incredible.
But you have more flexibility over here.
You don't have that in network television because of the charter that they originally had and the FCC's oversight.
Now, the FCC hasn't enforced it much, or, you know, just look at what's been happening over the last 20 years, or shall I say, over the last however many years, maybe the last 10 years, right?
Ever since Donald Trump came on the scene.
So now all of a sudden they're starting to get worried.
I mean, look at this one.
Whoopi Goldberg scolded live on set this week because she decided to say something that was not true.
She said it was a joke, but she's been saying a lot of things that aren't true, a ton of things that aren't true.
And at some point, it's coming back to haunt her.
So the producers are freaking out.
What?
And the other insane thing is that when people are going to go to their meetings with the judge, the meetings that they're supposed to go to, when they're listening to.
What the hell?
What?
I love when Sonny passes notes.
We don't know if Trump used an auto pen to part.
It was a joke!
Yes.
Using auto pen, our come on, but we do know that he didn't know who that crypto guy was.
Well, I'm sorry, you know, the hardest thing about this job now is no one understands nuance.
There, you know, when you hear a joke, when somebody's fooling around, when they're not saying something specific, especially on this show.
I'm very specific when I'm pointing stuff out, when I'm making jokes, you know, when I'm making jokes, this is ridiculous.
So, and that's MRC, by the way, that compiled that.
I feel for her in the sense that you got to be able to make a joke.
The problem for her is that she has said so many things over and over and over again that are just blatantly untrue.
I mean, I think about the ballroom, for example, just a recent example of this week where she's saying, oh, you know, it's you, the taxpayer, that's going to wind up paying for that instead of acknowledging the reality that the $300 and what was it, $30 million that's being spent was actually donated by a whole slew of companies.
that the president brought in, right?
Stupid Jokes Canceled Shows 00:04:58
Including, by the way, Comcast, which owns NBC.
So a lot of companies came forward and they put the money there to, and that's not what they're telling you on The View.
They're always giving you some warped version of reality that's, you know, coated in TDS on steroids.
And that's coming back to haunt them.
So this is why you have Time Magazine putting out a story saying, you know, this view is in a lot of trouble.
And by the way, you don't have to just take Time Magazine's word for it.
Look at what Brendan Carr said on Fox about a month ago.
He called them out.
He said, look, the view cannot do this.
And, by the way, Jimmy Kimmel is in a whole lot of trouble as well because of what went down there with Charlie Kirk.
And so now you got to wonder, as they they increase their investigation into the likes of ABC, into NBC, into CBS and and the Fcc's getting its tentacles in there.
Probably people are a little bit worried over at ABC.
Hence what we saw with Whoopi Goldberg and the producers saying oh, you got to read the legal note and she's like, are you kidding me?
It was a joke.
But now they're going to be like overly cautious.
And the other person they may be overly cautious with is Jimmy Kimmel.
News today that Jimmy Kimmel's show is somehow mysteriously canceled tonight at the 11th hour over what's said to be a personal matter.
So we wish him well if he's struggling in his personal life, of course.
But it's not really clear because the Daily Mail actually was one of the first to report this.
And they're saying that the episode was going to have David D'Covney.
Oh, that's a name I haven't heard in a while.
All right, David D'Covney.
Some other people, musical guests, et cetera.
And all of a sudden, these guys got a note saying, Hey, sorry, we don't need you.
This show has been canceled.
It stemmed from what we're told is a quote personal matter.
And it instead is going to have some old episode airing in its place.
The Daily Mail contacted ABC requesting comment.
They did not get a comment.
So, what could have happened here?
I mean, don't forget.
This guy is suffering from the remnants of what has been going on.
I mean, he's got bad ratings, so he's suffering from that.
We know that, and he also is under fire because of what happened when he made that stupid, stupid, stupid joke.
I mean, like, beyond stupid joke.
I mean, even the Harvard, you know, law professor, constitutional law professor guy got in all kinds of trouble that super lib that put something stupid like on Saturday about saying, Oh, well, you know, it's like MAGA going after their own there because.
Apparently this, this kid, this Tyler Robinson not a kid uh, 20 some odd years old, grew up around um firearms and like that's just ridiculous.
Like the statement was so like insensitive, so ridiculous, and I want to rehash the whole thing.
But you know the drill right.
And then Jimmy gets on there and makes a joke out of it.
That didn't go over well, didn't go over well, so then he got canceled.
You had 20, if like 20, of Abc's local affiliates, whether it be Sinclair or NEXT Star, saying hey hey hey, We don't want this guy on the air.
We're not going to run him.
And so then he had to get back on and apologize.
I mean, we thought he was actually going to be canceled for good at one time.
And the apology was kind of a non-apology.
He said, quote, it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.
I don't think there's anything funny about it.
Went on to say, nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions of what was obviously a deeply disturbed individual.
To some, my remarks felt either ill-timed or unclear.
I get why you're upset.
And then he says, it was never, well, we said that, never my intention to do that.
Well, I'm sorry.
Like that wasn't much of an apology, right?
So when you hear today that his show is mysteriously canceled for a personal matter, like what is this, a contract dispute?
I hope his health is okay, right?
We don't wish anybody.
I hope everybody in his family is okay.
We'll see.
But let's go back to that apology that wasn't an apology.
I mean, he didn't retract anything.
He didn't, you know, say anything about his original remarks about MAGA.
He didn't say, I'm sorry.
I want to apologize to Charlie Kirk's family, his widow, Erica Kirk.
I mean, I didn't hear any of that.
Right?
Nor did Erica.
By the way, Jesse Waters asked her about this in an interview he did with her.
Let's go to her reaction to what Jimmy had to say about her husband.
Jimmy Kimmel lied about your husband's murder and didn't really apologize.
What would you say to Jimmy Kimmel?
Same thing I told Sinclair.
They asked, I haven't really told anybody this, so they asked, Do you want Jimmy to give you an apology?
Do you want to be on a show?
How can we make it right?
Through our team, I responded.
I said, Tell them thank you.
We received their note.
Kimmel Lies About Murder 00:05:05
This is not our issue.
Not our mess.
If you want to say I'm sorry to someone who's grieving, go right ahead.
But if that's not in your heart, don't do it.
I don't want it.
I don't need it.
Hmm.
Well, it's not clear at this point why his show was canceled.
Just that there was some kind of email, alleged email from the show's audience team saying tonight's episode has been postponed.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
We'll contact you to reschedule for a future taping.
We don't know.
Personal reasons, allegedly.
Personal reasons.
Yeah.
Huh.
I'll tell you, his ratings are awful.
They need to get rid of him.
They need to get rid of the show.
He should do the show on the new MSNBC, the Ms. Now network, right?
It's going to have its red, white, and blue branding.
Hey, Versant is going to be the spinoff from Comcast.
I'm thinking that makes sense, Jimmy.
You know, you can be as liberal as you want over there.
Stephen Colbert, they may have a home for you, too.
What do you know?
The comedians are going to take over the news business.
That would make sense, right?
The shutdown goes on and on and on and on and on.
Donald Trump has a thing or two to say about this shutdown.
Before we get to that, I just want to point out, you know, it's $1.5 trillion in healthcare spending that they want.
And he's like, oh, we can't afford it, right?
Like we just can't do this right now.
You can't keep having all these illegals coming in, fortunately.
And they're not coming in anymore, but they opened the border and now you're responsible.
And he's like, we're not going to be responsible.
We're not going to allow for hospitals to send all this money.
It's all coming at a time when America is under a lot of financial strain, specifically when it comes to the health care industry.
Granted, there was that Wagovi drug that I think is going to go down in price.
There's lots of talk about that in the market today.
But the bigger issue is for drugs overall, right, for pharmaceutical products, it is very challenging for Americans because we pay more than anyone, like more than anyone in the world.
And this is why we commend here on The Trish Regan Show, as well as the folks at Americans for well, for pharmawindfall.com, I think you should go there.
But Americans for Lower Healthcare, we all commend collectively together the need for lower prices when it comes to pharmaceutical products.
And, you know, you shouldn't have so much regulation so that you wind up paying more as an American or as a small business owner.
We need to, like, get rid of all that stuff, right?
So there's a lot of red tape in there.
And while the president's out there doing good things, we really need some legislation.
And this is what Conservatives for Lower Healthcare is trying to do.
You can check them out at pharmawindfall.com.
It's really about like putting some pressure on your local politicians and saying, hey, you know what?
Enough is enough.
I shouldn't be paying the most for these drug products.
You know where the money's going, for goodness sakes?
It's going to the evening news shows, you know, that you can't watch with the kids anymore because they got a lot of commercials for things that maybe wouldn't be so appropriate to hear in front of the kids.
So they're spending a lot of money on marketing.
It's a lot of misuse and there's better ways to help people.
And that's what PharmaWindfall, the Americans FOR Lower, Health CARE, Conservatives FOR Lower Health CARE really really, really trying to do.
So go check that out.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, he's blaming someone for this shutdown, and it's not the GOP.
We have a shutdown, as you probably know, because the Democrats have gone.
They're crazy.
They're crazy, but they don't care if they hurt the country.
But we've uh, approved it 14 times.
We've approved a opening up 14 times and they keep rejecting it and I guess maybe they will again.
Let's see what happens.
They want to have a lot of bad things happen.
Bad things for our country.
We're not going to give $1.5 trillion to people that came into our country illegally.
We're not going to do it.
To people who came from prisons, they came from mental institutions, drug dealers.
They want to give them medical care.
And he's like, no, not happening, right?
So I would say when you look at some of the poll numbers, and I've shown this to you guys, CNN actually did a deep dive on this.
Who's getting the blame?
The Democrats.
But we could be closer.
I'm hearing we could be closer to something.
I mean, as you get closer and closer to Thanksgiving, it makes sense that people will want to resolve this.
The Democrats, I think they were afraid ahead of the elections to back off, right?
Because they had their big election day coming up and they wanted to make it look like they were really standing up to Trump.
But now election day has come and gone.
And I think reality is setting back in.
And as we approach Thanksgiving, they're going to get really tarred and feathered over the issue of no FAA agents, right?
And therefore, I mean, they had to cancel 700 flights today.
That's going to have to stop.
So the Democrats are in a lot of trouble.
And I think they're waking up.
to the reality of all of it.
We had a mixed market today.
