The Trish Regan Show - 🚨 BREAKING: LETITIA JAMES CAUGHT! NY AG Using $10 Million Tax Dollars For OWN Legal Battles! Aired: 2025-11-05 Duration: 42:47 === Taxpayer Dollars for Attorneys (11:24) === [00:00:01] And here we are. [00:00:02] We're live. [00:00:03] Really, really weird stuff going on in the country. [00:00:06] New York City, the financial capital of the world, descending into the control of one comrade, Mamdami. [00:00:14] Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. [00:00:16] We have a lot to say on that. [00:00:19] Meanwhile, oh boy, Leticia. [00:00:21] Oh, Leticia, he's not even going to be able to help you out here, honey. [00:00:24] You are in a whole lot of trouble and you're in a whole lot of trouble because it turns out after you promise not to use the $10 million to pay for your legal bills, it seems you are. [00:00:33] Uh-huh. [00:00:34] I got all the goods on that. [00:00:35] Plus a big win for the DOJ. [00:00:37] We're going to get into Letitia James. [00:00:39] But I would say, you know, in terms of Mamdami, lots of bad things are about to happen, possibly. [00:00:47] Well, we know they will because he's a socialist, communist, whatever you want to call him. [00:00:51] But we have some, you know, some backbone in that we have the president of the United States who's not going to allow the craziness, and I'm in craziness, ladies and gentlemen, to happen. [00:01:02] Remember? [00:01:03] He's already told us this. [00:01:06] Said he will defy ICE and will not allow ICE to arrest criminal aliens in New York City. [00:01:11] Your message to communist Zorhan Mandami. [00:01:14] Well, then we'll have to arrest him. [00:01:17] Let the fireworks begin, okay? [00:01:21] He just said it. [00:01:22] Well, you're going to set yourself up for Fed versus state. [00:01:24] And I'm sorry, Comrade Mandami. [00:01:26] Guess what? [00:01:26] The feds win that one all day long because, no, you can't just tax someone because of the color of their skin. [00:01:32] You can't. [00:01:33] And you can't just, well, Oh, you could try. [00:01:36] Everyone's going to leave. [00:01:37] Everyone's going to leave. [00:01:38] I promise you that this. [00:01:41] Yeah, I don't know what to call him. [00:01:44] I try to keep it clean for the kids. [00:01:45] But anyway, he was saying a little stuff last night before we get to Letitia. [00:01:50] And if there is any way to terrify a despot, it is by dismantling the very conditions that allowed him to accumulate power. [00:02:01] This is not only how we stop Trump, it's how we stop the next one. [00:02:07] Congratulations, Democrats. [00:02:07] Whoa. [00:02:07] You lost your party to socialism. [00:02:11] This fucking guy, Mamdani, won in about four minutes. [00:02:18] You can take a look at the districts. [00:02:19] The Bronx, this one's a fucking rat. [00:02:21] You lost your party to socialism because you pandered to the radicals on the left. [00:02:26] You freaking idiot, okay? [00:02:29] AOC. [00:02:29] Oh my gosh, she's out there gloating. [00:02:32] Wait till we we got a lot to talk about today. [00:02:34] We certainly do. [00:02:35] But I got to keep you abreast of some of the breaking news coming to us right now on Letitia James. [00:02:39] Letitia, baby. [00:02:41] You know the one who is in a whole lot of trouble because she seemed to be caught doing the exact same thing that she's accusing Donald Trump of doing. [00:02:49] Well, when it comes to the mortgage thing and then, of course, the civil rights violations, that's a big deal in Albany. [00:02:54] You see, she's got two DOJ cases against her, one in Virginia, one in Albany, and she was trying to get both of them thrown out. [00:03:02] In the case of Albany, they're like, yeah, no, we're going to move forward here because, you know, you've been indicted and that indictment, we're going to keep moving forward with. [00:03:12] So what does she do? [00:03:13] She uses money from New York taxpayers to pay her legal bills, even after telling us that she wouldn't. [00:03:19] But, you know, hey, she's Letitia. [00:03:21] This was her outside the courthouse the other day. [00:03:24] And boy, you know, she's entitled. [00:03:26] If I ever saw entitlement, this is the definition of entitlement, ladies and gentlemen. [00:03:32] Meet her nieces. [00:03:33] But this is not about me. [00:03:38] This is about all of us. [00:03:39] And about a justice system which has been weaponized. [00:03:45] Really? [00:03:46] A justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge. [00:03:51] What do you think you did? [00:03:52] This justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge. [00:04:00] We heard you the first time. [00:04:01] And a weapon against those individuals who simply did their job and who stood up for the rule of law. [00:04:10] Give me a break. [00:04:14] Give me a break. [00:04:16] She's got her five fans out there standing with her. [00:04:22] Well, I'll tell you who's not standing with her. [00:04:25] Go over here, take a look at what just came out of the Times Union today. [00:04:27] The response, they're talking about Letitia's response here. [00:04:31] She wanted to get this whole case thrown out. [00:04:33] You see, they're accusing her of going after Donald Trump and his son's liberties, their basic civil liberties in the state of New York by so maliciously prosecuting him. [00:04:42] Don't forget, she campaigned on this entire thing, all right? [00:04:44] Don't forget. [00:04:46] She's literally in trouble now for exactly the things that she did. [00:04:51] So the response was filed after private attorneys retained by James. [00:04:55] Private attorneys, okay? [00:04:56] She's not using any state attorneys here. [00:04:58] No, she's Letitia James and she's got to have the big ones. [00:05:01] You know, Abby Lowell, who charges like thousands of dollars an hour and has a million dollar retainer. [00:05:05] He worked for Hunter Biden. [00:05:06] She's got to get the big guns in there. [00:05:08] but being paid with state taxpayer dollars. [00:05:11] Boom, bingo. [00:05:12] Okay, state taxpayer dollars. [00:05:14] You see, Kathy Holkle put a little aside for her $10 million that she put aside for her. [00:05:20] And then for some reason, when it seemed politically unpopular and it was leaked to the press and the Republicans are like, what are you doing? [00:05:27] And all of a sudden, even the press was like deserting her saying, what are you doing? [00:05:31] And voters, especially those outside of New York City, are like, what are you doing? [00:05:36] Guess what? [00:05:37] She decided to say, no, I'm not going to take that. [00:05:39] And then she was like begging. [00:05:41] Hat in hand, going out to legal funds saying hey, can you help, can you help, can you help? [00:05:46] And apparently I don't know if nobody wanted to help or if uh, she didn't get enough money, but she wound up then going back and using taxpayer dollars. [00:05:55] So that's not cool, all right. [00:05:57] So these these motions that she was filing, um seeking to block a couple of subpoenas in in the uh judge in the southern district of New York case after judges in the state northern district recused themselves from the matter, she was going to the southern district and she she filed all this paperwork, I guess using taxpayer dollars. [00:06:18] Like that's, I mean, I'm just going to say it. [00:06:22] I have to be careful, right? [00:06:23] but it kind of feels like stealing. [00:06:25] I mean, you get your own legal problems and you turn to the taxpayers to pay for it after these are problems of your own making. [00:06:32] Elise Stefanik's been all over this. [00:06:34] Here she is writing, Tish James' actions embody the corruption among New York elected Democrats led by Kathy Hochul. [00:06:40] By the way, Kathy Hochul, you're in for a run for your money because Elise Stefanik, the representative from New York, she's going to beat you. [00:06:47] We've already seen the polls and she's ahead of you, Kathy Hochul. [00:06:50] Well, I recently exposed how Governor Kathy Hochul and Albany Democrats secretly inserted language into the state. [00:06:56] budget to cover James' legal expenses with taxpayer money. [00:06:59] That's what I'm talking about. [00:07:00] And then she said she wouldn't do it, but I guess she did. [00:07:02] This abuse of power is an insult to New Yorkers already struggling with high taxes. [00:07:06] You better believe it. [00:07:07] And by the way, those taxes are going up, certainly in New York City, thanks to Comrade Mandami. [00:07:11] The investigation into Leticia James is a vital step towards justice. [00:07:14] I will continue to fight to expose New York corruption, protect constitutional rights, and hold these failed Democrat leaders in New York accountable. [00:07:22] My gosh. [00:07:24] I mean, this is gross stuff. [00:07:26] This was the headline in the NEW YORK POST actually back in October how indicted New York attorney generals Letitia James is going to pay for her legal defense, which could cost up to $10 million, and so at the time they were saying that yeah, this money had been set aside, but she wasn't going to use it. [00:07:45] She wasn't going to tap into the $10 million Kathy put aside for her for her legal fund. [00:07:52] And now we're learning, according to the and I give them credit, this is a local paper up in Albany, the Albany Times that in fact she's paying for her attorneys, her private attorneys, with state taxpayer dollars. [00:08:06] So, Tishy Baby, I think you're kind of in for it. [00:08:08] I think that this is going to be a problem and we're going to see more and more of this problem come forward. [00:08:13] And I actually think you're going to wind up in a political problem as a result. [00:08:18] The Hill had an interesting op-ed just yesterday saying that her chances of winning are like really slim, really bad. [00:08:26] Like, again, New York City is different. [00:08:30] And sure, she came out and supported Mam Dami because she hates Cuomo because Cuomo hates her and that's a whole other thing. [00:08:35] We don't need to get into today, but she came out and supported Mamdami, but that's not going to matter when it comes to the rest of New York. [00:08:43] I told you, you know, my husband's from the Buffalo area, right outside of Buffalo, Lockport, New York, and we're talking good, solid people there. [00:08:49] And I see a lot of Trump signs. [00:08:51] I really do. [00:08:51] And I don't think they're big fans of Letitia James and the fact that she's telling local police officers there not to cooperate. [00:08:59] That was a story in the news about six months ago with any of the ICE officers. [00:09:03] This is going to become a bigger and bigger issue. [00:09:06] And I'm sorry, but I'm going to go back to it. [00:09:08] Mike Davis, who said it so eloquently, I had to take out a swear word or two, but he has his own panache. [00:09:17] Here he is with my friend Benny Watts. [00:09:19] Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General. [00:09:24] I dare you. [00:09:25] I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term because listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time and we will put your facts in prison for conspiracy. [00:09:38] Conspiracy against rights. [00:09:39] And I promise you that. [00:09:41] So think long and hard before you want to violate President Trump's constitutional rights or any other Americans' constitutional rights. [00:09:50] It's not going to happen again. [00:09:52] Okay, but she did. [00:09:53] She violated his constitutional rights. [00:09:55] And that's what has gone to the court there. [00:09:59] This is what's in the U.S. Attorney's Office in New York. [00:10:03] Okay, so she's got two cases against her, and she's not supposed to use the money. [00:10:08] From the taxpayers, she promised she wouldn't, and yet that's exactly what she's doing, of course, according to the legal bills that we saw this week out of New York. [00:10:17] So meanwhile, you get the DOJ getting another win here in the mortgage fraud case. [00:10:23] So Lindsay is getting a little bit of a win. [00:10:26] You know, the lawyers for Letitia James, well, that would be Abby Lowell, were complaining that Lindsay was talking to the press and they didn't like that. [00:10:34] And then they wanted her to keep a log of everything that she said and everything that she was interacting with. [00:10:40] And they wanted to see a copy of that diary. [00:10:42] And basically the judge said, yeah, go pound sand, okay? [00:10:45] That's not happening. [00:10:46] So that is good news, again, for the DOJ, for Lindsey Halligan, and of course, for Donald Trump, because this woman, and frankly, the country, because she needs to pay a price. [00:10:56] Moving back here to New York, the DOJ is saying that there is ample evidence politics motivated Letitia James's case against Donald Trump. [00:11:06] You know that. [00:11:06] Here's the Northern District of New York attorney John Sarkon. [00:11:10] His office is contending that it's the grand jury investigation. of state attorney general Letitia James that it's valid and based on ample evidence of politically motivated selective prosecutions of Donald Trump. [00:11:24] I mean, of course it was. === Disney World Disaster (02:34) === [00:11:26] How many times have I played you? [00:11:27] I won't do it again today. [00:11:28] I promise. [00:11:28] I know everybody gets annoyed because we're all sick of seeing it. [00:11:31] Sometimes it's entertaining. [00:11:32] I won't do it today because we have a lot to get to. [00:11:34] But she's like too male, too pale, too stale. [00:11:36] And what did she say? [00:11:37] I promise every day I'm going to go into the office and what I'm going to do? [00:11:39] I'm going to go after Trump. [00:11:41] That's all I'm going to do. [00:11:42] That's all she cared about doing. [00:11:43] And that is exactly what she did. [00:11:45] She sued him over 100 times. [00:11:47] She tried to bankrupt the guy. [00:11:49] And here we are now. [00:11:50] Guess what? [00:11:51] He's back in charge. [00:11:52] He's now the president of the United States. [00:11:54] And Letitia is struggling. [00:11:55] And you know how we know she's struggling? [00:11:57] There have been some polls that suggest she really is struggling. [00:12:00] And again, there's my anecdotal evidence because I travel to Western New York and I see what the rest of the place is like outside of Manhattan where I have no intention of going in the near future. [00:12:11] I got to tell you, I used to, I lived many, many years. [00:12:14] I went to Columbia. [00:12:16] I lived with my husband for years. [00:12:18] My kids were all born in New York. [00:12:20] And in 2018, we just decided, you know, it really wasn't the best place for kids. [00:12:26] It just, or for us for that matter. [00:12:28] And we decided to move outside the city. [00:12:30] And I got to tell you, every single day I pinch myself and I'm like, this is so great. [00:12:34] How did I ever live in the city that long? [00:12:36] But I can tell you right now, and I was thinking last night, boy, am I glad that I sold my apartment back in 2018. [00:12:42] I don't want to have anything to do with it. [00:12:44] I mean, what a disaster the place has become. [00:12:47] I mean, Rudy Giuliani, he really improved it, turned into like Disney World back when Disney World was actually nice. [00:12:53] And then you had Mayor Bloomberg, who I actually used to work for at Bloomberg Television two times. [00:12:59] I started my career there and I came back and was a main anchor and ran all their political coverage. [00:13:03] Yeah, imagine me. [00:13:04] That was actually kind of funny. [00:13:06] They were like, Trish, will you put a Democrat on, please? [00:13:10] They don't want to come on with me. [00:13:12] What can I say? [00:13:12] I don't know. [00:13:13] I don't know. [00:13:14] Anyway, Mike Bloomberg, he did a decent job. [00:13:17] All right. [00:13:17] And then you get Comrade de Blasio over there who didn't know how to pick up the trash or plow the streets in a snowstorm. [00:13:24] And then the poor guy, Eric, I mean, Eric Adams, I think he meant well, but he was kind of a disaster. [00:13:32] And by the way, by then, the train had left the station. [00:13:36] In other words, the crazy leftists had taken over. [00:13:39] And all of a sudden, you get this guy who just graduated from Bowdoin College a few years ago, whose dad is a Columbia University, frankly, kind of in my estimation, total nutjob, because he's one of these colonialist, anti colonialist, oh gosh, we got to blame white. [00:13:52] people for everything and you need reparations in the whole nine yards. [00:13:55] That's how this guy was raised. [00:13:57] And now here he is, the mayor elect of New York City. === Eric Adams Struggles (09:25) === [00:14:00] But going back to the way the rest of the state feels, if you look at some of these poll numbers for one Leticia James, what you actually see is that she's not doing that well. [00:14:11] I mean, they write in the City Journal, consider James and Hochul's electoral records. [00:14:15] Well, James received over 60% of the vote in 2018. [00:14:18] That was a while ago. [00:14:20] In 2022, she only got 54.6%. [00:14:22] And that was far less impressive. [00:14:25] barely one percentage point better than Hochul's win over Congressman Lee Zeldin. [00:14:31] And it was the worst performance by a winning Democrat gubernatorial candidate in 40 years. [00:14:36] So in other words, Hochul's doing lousy. [00:14:38] We saw a new poll saying that, yeah, at least Stefanik's going to beat her. [00:14:42] And then this one, and this is from a few months ago. [00:14:44] I mean, these numbers have gone down most definitely since then. [00:14:47] You can see that Attorney General Letitia James is really struggling because if you look at her favorability ratings, check that one out. [00:14:55] Oh, my gosh. [00:14:56] She's doing worse than Chuck Schumer. [00:14:58] I mean, I thought that was hard to do, right? [00:15:00] Because poor Chucky, babe, he's really struggling. [00:15:02] He's got AOC nipping at his heels like you've never seen. [00:15:07] He's even afraid to say who he voted for. [00:15:09] He wouldn't say who he voted for in all seriousness. [00:15:11] in this election. [00:15:12] So Chuck Schumer, 46 favorable, 41% unfavorable. [00:15:16] Attorney General Letitia James, 40% favorable, 33% unfavorable, and then 27% don't know. [00:15:24] And this was, like I said, before this whole ordeal. [00:15:27] This is before she was indicted. [00:15:30] This is before it was found out that she was out there, what do you know, paying for her legal bills with your, if you live in New York, taxpayer dollars. [00:15:40] There's something fundamentally wrong with that now, is there not? [00:15:43] So her career, if you ask me, is basically over. [00:15:45] On top of which, if you look at basically these issues that are so important to voters outside of New York City, she's at odds with all of them. [00:15:52] 79% of New Yorkers, they back deporting immigrants convicted of a crime. [00:15:56] I mean, that really shouldn't be that, you know, I'm surprised it's not like 99.99%. [00:16:00] I mean, if you've been convicted of a crime, you really think somebody ought to be staying here? [00:16:06] I'm curious about the ones that think that's okay. [00:16:10] But anyway, you're at 79%. [00:16:11] 39% back deporting immigrants with no criminal record. [00:16:16] Okay, that's actually a pretty big number. [00:16:18] And then you got 59% who do not want taxpayers paying for migrants medical care. [00:16:22] What do you think this whole shutdown is about? [00:16:24] $1.5 trillion that they want to give to migrants medical care. [00:16:29] Only 26% are in favor. [00:16:30] 48% support federal efforts to deport all illegal migrants. [00:16:36] 31% oppose. [00:16:37] This is a Siena College Bowl. [00:16:39] I'm telling you, she is not on the right side of these issues. [00:16:42] Now is she? [00:16:43] She's on the wrong side of everything. [00:16:45] So when you go outside of New York City, she's going to have some really, really big problems. [00:16:49] So she's getting these legal setbacks one after another with the latest today being out of Albany, New York. [00:16:56] The U.S. Attorney's Office in Albany contends its grand jury investigation of State Attorney General Letitia James is indeed valid. [00:17:04] She was trying to get out. [00:17:05] She won. [00:17:05] This is again, according to the Times Union. [00:17:09] Okay, I got to gulp my water. [00:17:10] I call it pulling a Marco Rubio when you need to gulp your water on set. [00:17:15] But you know, we don't have any commercials over here in podcast land. [00:17:17] So I have to take it when I can get it. [00:17:20] Attorney General Leticia James is valid and based on whether she may have violated federal laws by selectively pursuing lawsuits against the National Rifle Association as well as President Donald J. Trump for political motives. [00:17:33] I mean, I don't think that this is something that's even contestable. [00:17:36] She was so out there. [00:17:38] and obvious about it. [00:17:39] What does she say? [00:17:40] Like she knew nothing about the case and she's on the campaign trail promising to go after him. [00:17:44] That's all she wanted to do. [00:17:45] So she was out there trying to squash these two subpoenas that were seeking some records into the investigation she was doing in her office. [00:17:52] And she doesn't want this whole indictment coming out of the state of New York, right? [00:17:57] She's already facing one in Virginia. [00:18:00] And basically what was decided here is that there's enough evidence to move forward. [00:18:09] So attorney Richard Bellis, he's the assistant U.S. attorney, he was actually saying that the subpoenas were issued by a validly impaneled grand jury. [00:18:18] They get a grand jury investigation looking at all of this, and he cited prior court filings of a grand jury investigative powers as being really expansive. [00:18:27] And they are. [00:18:28] They are, right? [00:18:29] What's the saying? [00:18:30] You can indict a ham sandwich? [00:18:32] Like anybody can get indicted? [00:18:33] Like, in other words, this is the stage before that. [00:18:37] So, by all means, they have the right. [00:18:39] To ask for this and the idea that she's actually trying to threaten them and say you can't, and that her lawyers are saying that that should actually trouble everyone. [00:18:46] So the good news is she's not getting anywhere on it and they have made it very clear in their response that they're going to continue pursuing all of this. [00:18:56] So Leticia James, just stop running up the bills, if you would, because I think people are getting kind of tired, kind of tired of these legal bills. [00:19:05] Um, I I do want to point out that one thing that she said in response was that um, The words of the attorney general are self-established beyond a reasonable doubt that this action was commenced not to vindicate the public interest, but out of a partisan political motive. [00:19:20] Okay, that was the lawyers for Trump on behalf of the state. [00:19:24] That's the U.S. Attorney's Office. [00:19:26] They're saying this, but I found her response really peculiar. [00:19:29] And I actually put this in green. [00:19:30] See my little scribble? [00:19:32] I do all that. [00:19:32] I get my highlighter out, and then I put it on the screen for you because the things that I really think are important, I want you to know. [00:19:39] This is what she said in response to the U.S. Attorney's Office saying, hey, you know, we've got all of this information that we really want to know more about. [00:19:49] We've got all these news conferences, all these social media statements. [00:19:52] I mean, you're pretty incendiary out there. [00:19:54] So don't you think we ought to be able to get more information on this stuff? [00:19:58] And she said, direct quote, no one is above the law, including this illegitimate president. [00:20:10] And so I look forward to going into the office of attorney general every day, suing him, defending your rights and going home. [00:20:18] So just remember that. [00:20:21] And when they try and tell you or she tries to tell you that this is just a political vendetta all designed to take her down because she tried to bankrupt him, go back to that. [00:20:33] No one is above the law, including this quote illegitimate president. [00:20:36] Okay, she's quoting Jimmy Carter there. [00:20:40] And we know what that was all about. [00:20:42] Hey, we get Comey's handwritten notes thanks to Lindsay. [00:20:45] She just revealed that exhibit 13. [00:20:48] We'll get to that later on. [00:20:49] I'll tell you guys, this is pretty damn bad what they did. [00:20:53] And then of course, it's all coming back to haunt her. [00:20:55] When powerful people cheat to get better loans, she said it comes at the expense of honest and hardworking people. [00:21:02] Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage to buy a home. [00:21:05] And if they did, the government would throw the book at them. [00:21:09] There simply cannot be different rules for different peoples really, Leticia? [00:21:13] Really so she thought that Donald Trump was cheating because he was, in her belief, overestimating the value of one Mar-a-lago. [00:21:21] Like she's the one to decide the value of Mar-a-lago. [00:21:25] I think you know, when you go out there and you decide to take a, a loan on a second home, and you say it's your second home and then separately, you're listing it as a rental income property because you're letting your niece live there and apparently it's a rental. [00:21:40] Enough, she's got the electricity bill in her name and you're listing it, you know, in your financial disclosures as an income property, and yet you get out a loan to which you save something like $19,000, according to the New York Post, over the extent of the loan. [00:21:57] Like, I actually think that that's kind of bad. [00:21:59] I actually think that those words are coming back to hurt you and haunt you. [00:22:03] When powerful people cheat to get better loans, it comes at the expense of honest and hardworking people. [00:22:07] I mean, you saved yourself the cool $19,000. [00:22:11] Come on. [00:22:13] Oh, Tishy, Tishy, Tishy, Tishy. [00:22:16] I mean, and I'm sorry, but you know. [00:22:19] The comrade's not going to be able to help you out here because you get your own political troubles. [00:22:22] You're the one using taxpayer dollars to pay for your legal bills when you promised you wouldn't. [00:22:27] And now you got one bad apple in the big apple. [00:22:30] Oh my gosh. [00:22:31] Like I told you guys in the chat, I was like, oh, I really didn't sleep that well last night. [00:22:35] I actually went to bed really early. [00:22:36] I go to bed kind of early because my kids get up really early for school and I need to be there. [00:22:40] And so I went to bed. [00:22:42] I was like out by nine o'clock. [00:22:44] And, you know, we had local elections going on and everything, school board stuff. [00:22:47] And so I went to bed before we knew all the information. [00:22:50] At some point, I woke up at like two in the morning. [00:22:53] And I checked my phone, bad thing to do. [00:22:55] And whoa, I'm like, okay, well, we knew Mamdami was going to win, but it was just, you know, kind of disheartening to see. [00:23:00] And of course, I think in some ways, you know, the positive sort of silver lining in this is that sometimes societies need to go through this, right? [00:23:10] Like you kind of need to experience hell before you really know how good heaven is. [00:23:13] So you kind of need to see how bad it can really get in New York City. [00:23:18] And it's going to get bad. [00:23:19] It's going to get bad from an economic standpoint, from a security standpoint, and even from just a political standpoint in the tension that I think. === Congress Shut Down Threats (07:16) === [00:23:26] he's going to bring. [00:23:27] I mean, he's already out there saying we can't let anybody like Donald Trump ever win again. [00:23:30] What are you going to do? [00:23:31] Oh, we're going to shut down the ways that helped him win. [00:23:34] So what does that mean? [00:23:35] Oh, am I not allowed to talk? [00:23:37] Reminder, subscribe, share, like, subscribe, share, like, and hit the Spotify one too. [00:23:41] We need to diversify, okay? [00:23:43] Listen to me. [00:23:43] We need to be able to stay in contact because I hear things like that and I'm like, ma'am, Dami, what exactly do you mean by that? [00:23:50] You're going to like take away our First Amendment because, you know, there's a lot of evidence that Biden did some pretty sketchy stuff when it came to the First Amendment. [00:23:58] I will say this, Donald Trump. [00:24:00] Like for all they want to complain about him. [00:24:03] If you were living in a fascist society that didn't allow any dissonance, then you wouldn't hear any. [00:24:10] Okay, but you hear a lot, why? [00:24:12] Because he doesn't clamp down on that stuff and, by the way, when he has beef with someone, he actually just says it like he just he comes right out and says it. [00:24:20] I mean, Biden would like dance around it and you know, Barack Obama had his spies working behind the scenes. [00:24:27] Just ask James Rome Rosen or my friend Cheryl Atkinson, whom I worked with at CBS. [00:24:32] I mean all kinds of weird things going on. [00:24:34] But now, now, I'm telling you, Mandami's on notice because he's saying he's not going to cooperate with the FEDS in any way, shape, or form. [00:24:44] If you're not going to cooperate, I hate to break it to you, buddy, but there's this little thing called the Constitution. [00:24:49] I know you're not that smart because you couldn't even get into my own alma mater, Columbia University, and your dad worked there. [00:24:55] Yeah, not that smart. [00:24:56] And what did he say? [00:24:57] He was African? [00:24:59] American? [00:25:00] On his, yeah, that all came out. [00:25:02] The guy's a liar. [00:25:03] Frankly, in my estimation, he's a complete scumbag, but, you know, you had me a communist, basically. [00:25:08] It's kind of hard to get beyond that. [00:25:10] Anyway, here is Donald Trump saying, yep, you know what we're going to do? [00:25:14] If he doesn't cooperate with the feds, if he stands in the way of the federal law, we're going to arrest him. [00:25:20] Mr. President, your beloved New York City, your beloved New York City may well be led by a communist soon, Zorhan Mandami, who in his nomination speech said he will defy ICE and will not allow ICE to arrest criminal aliens in New York City. [00:25:38] Your message to communist Zorhan Mandami? [00:25:41] Well, then we'll have to arrest him. [00:25:43] Look, we don't need a communist in this country, but if we have one, I'm going to be watching over him very carefully on behalf of the nation. [00:25:50] We send him money. [00:25:51] We send him all the things that he needs to run a government. [00:25:55] And by the way, they get already about three times what you get run. [00:26:00] If you look at the per capita, Florida gets one third of what New York gets in terms of the numbers. [00:26:06] Why don't you give us those numbers? [00:26:08] Yeah, well, that's what we should send him. [00:26:10] Yeah, well, sometimes people say Florida gets more because they count Social Security recipients, but that's not money to the state. [00:26:16] Those are seniors that live here. [00:26:18] If they moved to North Carolina, you could count it there. [00:26:20] So it has no interaction with the state government. [00:26:22] They get more on the city and state governments than we get. [00:26:25] Right. [00:26:26] Substantially. [00:26:27] We're going to be watching that very carefully. [00:26:29] And a lot of people are saying he's here illegally. [00:26:32] You know, we're going to look at everything. [00:26:35] And ideally, he's going to turn out to be much less than a communist. [00:26:39] But right now, he's a communist. [00:26:40] That's not a socialist. [00:26:42] You know, I've always said we will not have socialism in this country in the speeches. [00:26:45] I said, well, what? [00:26:46] They skipped socialism. [00:26:48] And you get a lot of them like that. [00:26:50] And you see AOC, she's out there with her bad IQ. [00:26:54] She's out there ranting and raving about how wonderful he is. [00:26:57] And look, so far he's winning. [00:26:59] He still has a race to win, but so far he's winning. [00:27:01] And he has an advantage as a Democrat in New York City. [00:27:04] I was there a long time ago, and it was a long time since a Republican won the city. [00:27:09] But you would think that a Republican would be able to win. [00:27:12] Or you have a good independent running, Mayor Adams, who's a very good person. [00:27:16] I helped him out a little bit. [00:27:18] He had a problem, and he was unfairly hurt over this question. [00:27:21] He made a statement to the effect that this is terrible. [00:27:25] New York City can't have all these immigrants come in. [00:27:28] And like he was indicted the following day. [00:27:31] And I said, that was a phony indictment. [00:27:33] And it was a phony indictment. [00:27:34] That was a Biden indictment. [00:27:36] I said, don't feel bad. [00:27:37] I got indicted five times every time you opened your mouth. [00:27:40] That was a bad group. [00:27:41] It was a very dangerous group, I will tell you. [00:27:43] These were not nice people. [00:27:45] That was the only thing they could do. [00:27:47] They had no policy. [00:27:48] They had no skill. [00:27:49] They had no anything. [00:27:50] But they were very good at that. [00:27:52] They were vicious, vicious, horrible people. [00:27:54] Thank you very much. [00:27:56] You know, he's making an interesting point here because we don't want to go back to those days, right? [00:28:01] We just absolutely don't. [00:28:03] And yet when you hear some of the things that Mamdami is saying, let me see if I can play it for you because it really struck me as kind of dangerous rhetoric. [00:28:16] We played it earlier in the show, but I want to show you this again because he's sort of saying we can't ever let somebody like Donald Trump win again, so we'll take away all their opportunities to do so. [00:28:26] And I'm like, whoa, okay. [00:28:32] And if there is any way to terrify a despot. [00:28:35] It is by dismantling the very conditions that allowed him to accumulate power. [00:28:44] This is not only how we stop Trump, it's how we stop the next one. [00:28:50] So now they're not going to be able to communicate on social media? [00:28:54] Is that the idea? [00:28:56] You're just not going to be able to talk on social media at all? [00:28:59] Because that's what happened before, as I recall, right? [00:29:03] They just shut off all his accounts and anybody who supported him. [00:29:06] And then the next thing you know, we're in Arctic Frost. [00:29:09] And there is a giant investigation where they compile 30 million phone records of over 400 people, including 92. [00:29:16] No, it was over 100 organizations, including my friend Charlie Kirk's organization, the late Charlie Kirk. [00:29:21] I mean, wow, right? [00:29:23] Eight sitting U.S. senators, a representative from Congress. [00:29:28] It's like they wanted to choke it off. [00:29:30] And this is what Mamdami is talking about. [00:29:33] That's not good. [00:29:35] So, you know, Donald Trump's right to say, hey, you know, we mean business. [00:29:39] And if you are in opposition of the federal law, we will take. that seriously. [00:29:45] I mean, if you're a communist and you think that you can just tax somebody or take something from them because you don't like the color of their skin. [00:29:57] I mean, that's one of his quotes, right? [00:29:58] He's going to go and tax white neighborhoods. [00:30:02] I'm like, I'm sorry. [00:30:03] We have a constitution. [00:30:04] Like you can't actually do that. [00:30:06] That would be actually a form of racism. [00:30:09] Okay. [00:30:09] Like you can't actually just say, we're going to go target that neighborhood because of the color of their skin. [00:30:15] That's not going to fly. [00:30:16] Meanwhile, you can't say, I'm not going to cooperate with the federal feds at all. [00:30:20] I guess to a certain extent, you could say, I'm not going to cooperate, but you can't impede and you can't get in the way. [00:30:26] And that's kind of what he's talking about. [00:30:28] If you listen to some of his speech last night, he was like, we are not, you know, we are a city of immigrants and we're going to have all the immigrants and da, And he made it clear that he was not going to cooperate with Trump in any way, shape, or form. === Free Groceries Plan (12:04) === [00:30:42] And it's not just Trump. [00:30:43] It's the feds here. [00:30:44] Look, it's ICE. [00:30:45] It's Congress. [00:30:46] It's Congress. [00:30:48] Yeah, it's like they don't understand anything. [00:30:53] A bunch of know-nothings. [00:30:54] Anyway, you get Stephen Miller, who knows a lot and spent four years on the sidelines studying the law here, talking about this issue as it relates to California, but it also relates to New York and it relates to Illinois. [00:31:05] I want him to explain it. [00:31:06] Wants. [00:31:08] This was not a loophole. [00:31:09] The Biden administration, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, devised a scheme to fly illegal aliens into the country and then to escort them en masse across the border by the millions and to give them something known as parole, which gives them a work permit, which gives them a social security number, which gives them access to the voting booth. [00:31:33] This was the plan all along to get them here illegally so they can get free government benefits. [00:31:38] Get hooked to welfare and be able to participate in American elections. [00:31:43] This was an attack on democracy by the Democrat Party. [00:31:47] It's the same attack that we see, Sean, when you have California, a sanctuary state that is refusing to turn over even illegal alien criminals to ICE. [00:31:58] So these are illegal aliens in California who have been arrested by California police, by California law enforcement for serious crimes. [00:32:06] They are refusing to hand these criminal illegal aliens over to ICE. [00:32:10] Instead, they're freeing them back. [00:32:12] Into the cities to offend and offend again. [00:32:15] By any definition, what California is doing is criminal. [00:32:19] It is a violation of our laws. [00:32:21] It is one of the most heinous things that I have seen. [00:32:25] Yeah. [00:32:26] Okay. [00:32:26] So it's going on in California. [00:32:28] It's going on in Chicago. [00:32:30] And now it'll be going on in New York. [00:32:33] So Mamdami said all these really nasty things about Donald Trump last night. [00:32:38] It's like his whole reason for being was just to be anti Trump. [00:32:42] And I got a kick out of it. [00:32:43] The president responded with, and so it begins. [00:32:47] And so it begins, okay? [00:32:49] Like, it's devastating that we have to waste time doing this. [00:32:54] Like, why do we have to fight? [00:32:55] Hey, Ma'am Dami, you need a safer city. [00:32:58] So if I were you, I'd welcome the National Guard in there. [00:33:02] I'd welcome the help from the federal government. [00:33:04] I'd take a page out of the D.C. mayor's handbook. [00:33:07] She's no fool. [00:33:08] She's like, hey, you want to help? [00:33:09] I'll take it. [00:33:10] Thank you very much. [00:33:11] And he doesn't do it, right? [00:33:13] This guy, I mean, he is everything that the Democrats should not want right now. [00:33:22] Because he's going to take them down a very, very dangerous path. [00:33:26] I'm sorry. [00:33:26] You want to be a socialist? [00:33:27] Go live in Venezuela. [00:33:28] Thank you very much. [00:33:29] We don't need you here. [00:33:31] You know, you talk to anybody. [00:33:33] I was tweeting this morning about like any of my friends that have lived in the former USSR. [00:33:38] Like they're so grateful, so grateful for America. [00:33:42] This is the dream come true, right? [00:33:45] You go sit and talk to them about what life was like. [00:33:47] And one of my friends, she's from Romania. [00:33:50] And you go to her house. [00:33:51] And every time you go to her house, I mean, like the food is just a incredible. [00:33:55] It's like everywhere. [00:33:56] It's like there's so much food and she can't feed you enough. [00:33:58] And she's like, I'm sorry. [00:33:59] Like the reality is I grew up in the former Soviet Union where like you didn't have it. [00:34:05] Like you couldn't get it. [00:34:06] And so they tend to overcompensate and have like a massive buffet, which I always love. [00:34:12] And she's very generous. [00:34:14] But I'm like, wow, this is a lot of food. [00:34:16] It's a lot of food. [00:34:17] But, you know, those things stay with you. [00:34:21] Do we really want to go back to the federal government being in charge of our grocery stores? [00:34:25] I don't think so. [00:34:26] Thank you very much. [00:34:27] The Democrats, you screwed up. [00:34:29] You screwed up royally. [00:34:32] Basically, you let Donald Trump take the entire mantle from you. [00:34:37] You let him take over for the working class. [00:34:38] You wanted to be the 2%, the 1%, and a bunch of academics that had some idea of a utopia that they could live in that doesn't really exist. [00:34:46] Again, it's been tried all over the world over and over and over again. [00:34:49] One of you guys in the chat, I'm going to go back to the chat in a second because you were saying like in early New England, and I was an early American history major, but I wasn't familiar with that story, so I want to look that up. [00:34:58] In early New England, somebody tried it. [00:35:00] Didn't work out. [00:35:01] It never works out. [00:35:02] It sounds great, but you know what? [00:35:04] Human beings are human beings, and we have self-interest. [00:35:08] So I'm sorry. [00:35:10] You know, capitalism may not be perfect, but I'll tell you, it's lifting more people out of poverty than any other system in the world. [00:35:15] I want you to hear this guy. [00:35:16] He was great. [00:35:17] He's like, Dems, you fools, you stupid fools. [00:35:20] You sure lost your party. [00:35:24] Congratulations, Democrats. [00:35:26] You lost your party to socialism. [00:35:28] This guy, Mombani, won in about four minutes. [00:35:30] You can take a look at the districts, the Bronx. [00:35:33] This one's rap. [00:35:34] Cuomo was awful. [00:35:35] Let's neither here nor there. [00:35:36] That guy sucked. [00:35:38] You lost your party to socialism because you pandered to the radicals on the left. [00:35:43] And you've created this cataclysm of people, especially the young generation, that think they're going to get something for free. [00:35:48] They're about to be taken for a ride. [00:35:50] Now you have no stars. [00:35:52] Nothing. [00:35:52] People like Mombani, they're going to be weaseling their way all the way to upcoming general elections. [00:35:58] So, there is no more Democratic Party of old. [00:36:00] JFK, you're never going to see that again. [00:36:02] They're going to take over, and you're going to get this lunatic that you're about to see in New York City. [00:36:07] So, hold on. [00:36:08] I've been talking about the policies and the fairy tale. [00:36:11] Yeah, I know. [00:36:11] Mamdani, he's going to bring back Miss Lizzie's magic school bus. [00:36:14] We know. [00:36:15] Just wait. [00:36:16] You lost your party because you guys are playing hopscotch back and forth over the line. [00:36:24] You don't even know what you are anymore. [00:36:25] But they know. [00:36:26] It's true. [00:36:28] They don't know what they are anymore. [00:36:30] For goodness sakes, Chuck Schumer, who's supposed to be carrying the mantle there for the party, he couldn't even admit who he was going to vote for. [00:36:38] Do I have? [00:36:39] Oh, I do. [00:36:39] I have this. [00:36:40] I have this. [00:36:40] I want to show you. [00:36:41] Okay. [00:36:41] So Chuck Schumer yesterday, they were like, Mamdami or Cuomo? [00:36:46] And he wouldn't say. [00:36:47] Today is election day in New York City. [00:36:52] Did you vote for Mondani or Cuomo? [00:36:54] Look, I voted and I look forward to working with the next mayor to help New York City. [00:37:02] I don't know what you do. [00:37:05] We have a socialist now in charge, communist. [00:37:07] And we don't want him and we want Cuomo. [00:37:10] But, you know, we're kind of screwed because we kind of screwed up all around. [00:37:16] I mean, it's just. [00:37:17] this darn Donald Trump, this TDS stuff really got to us. [00:37:20] It like really infected us. [00:37:23] And now we can't see the forest for the trees. [00:37:26] We can't understand that, oh, maybe, maybe there aren't 250 genders like some have decided to try and spin. [00:37:37] Yeah, that would be the BBC. [00:37:39] I mean, it's really, it's kind of tragic. [00:37:44] But now you've got Mamdami out there and you've got Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who cannot speak Español. [00:37:53] Yo puedo, I speak Spanish a lot better than Alexandria Ocasio Cortez ever dreamed. [00:38:00] The Irish girl speaks it. [00:38:01] She can't, but she's out there gloating saying that this is the new version of the party. [00:38:07] I guess we should all be happy, because you know what? [00:38:10] It's not gonna fly on a national level. [00:38:12] It works in New York City, in the microcosm of the woke mindset. [00:38:19] The woke mind virus of New York City is not working anywhere else. [00:38:24] What I think is so impressive about what Zoharan Mamdani accomplished tonight, as well as I forgot to warn you about her voice. [00:38:33] Forgive me for that. [00:38:34] Just turn the volume down if needed. [00:38:37] It's a little tinny. [00:38:39] The entire movement of New Yorkers that came out to vote for him is that he had to not just defeat a Republican. [00:38:45] He had to defeat a Republican and the old guard of the Democratic Party at the same time. [00:38:50] He was fighting a war on two fronts and not just one. [00:38:54] And he still won resoundingly. [00:38:56] And I think the message that that sends is that the Democratic Party cannot last much longer by denying the future, by trying to undercut our young, by trying to undercut a next generation of diverse and upcoming Democrats that have the parties, the actual party, that are actual electorate and voter support. [00:39:23] Okay. [00:39:25] So she thinks she's in charge now. [00:39:27] Well, I got news for her. [00:39:29] You know, like socialism never works, ever, ever works because, you know, at some point, as Margaret Thatcher so famously said, you run out of other people's money. [00:39:38] And communism is just an exaggerated, really tyrannical version of all of that. [00:39:43] Some of you guys have noticed I have Atlas Shrugged in the bookstand behind me. [00:39:48] Kind of poetic to have right there on a day like today. [00:39:53] Anyway, Mandami was already on MSNBC saying, no, no, no, we're not going to give away free groceries. [00:39:58] I guess there was some plan for free groceries. [00:40:00] Now he just wants moderated grocery prices because he's going to control the grocery prices. [00:40:05] Oh, good luck with that. [00:40:06] John Casimatidis, he runs all the grocery stores. [00:40:08] gristades in New York. [00:40:09] He's like, I'm out of here, baby. [00:40:11] No, we're not going to be running grocery stores in New York City where Mamdami is going to tell us what we can set for prices, where they're going to, no, like you really want, do you want the government running your grocery stores? [00:40:24] Think about that for two seconds. [00:40:26] Boy, it's like the USSR. [00:40:29] I mean, if you finally escape from New York City, you'll be like my friend from Romania with the giant spread because you're like, thank God I can actually buy food. [00:40:38] This is amazing. [00:40:39] No, I don't want Mamdami running the grocery stores. [00:40:42] That would um. [00:40:44] Well anyway, listen to him. [00:40:45] He's got all kinds of grand ideas about how he's going to pay for everything. [00:40:50] Question affordability in this city. [00:40:52] Living here is top of everyone's mind. [00:40:53] It has gotten obscenely expensive to live here, to do anything here, so you're proposing free grocery stores, free buses, 30 minimum wage all of which sounds incredible. [00:41:04] Cheaper groceries not free, excuse me. [00:41:06] Cheaper groceries um, but what people want to know is great. [00:41:10] I would love all those things. [00:41:11] How do you pay for it? [00:41:12] Who's going to end up footing the bill for those programs? [00:41:15] I'll answer that question by first explaining some of the endorsements that Andrew Cuomo has received. [00:41:20] Okay, that has nothing to do with anything. [00:41:22] But he wants to make sure that you know that Trump is endorsing Andrew Cuomo because, you know, he figures that helps his cause because they get severe TDS woke mind virus going on in New York City. [00:41:33] One of the most expensive endorsements that Andrew Cuomo has ever gotten because it cost him and the state of New York $959 million in tax breaks that he gave Elon Musk years ago when he was the governor of this state. [00:41:44] Incidentally, don't forget, It was AOC who told Amazon, we don't want you, even though you got tons of six figure jobs that you're going to be bringing in, like 100,000 of these six figure jobs. [00:41:57] She didn't want it, right? [00:41:58] Because she's a socialist communist, just like this guy. [00:42:01] It's actually more money than it would cost to make every bus free in New York City. [00:42:05] So I've said clearly that I believe we should tax the top 1%, an additional 2%. [00:42:08] That's New Yorkers making a million dollars or more a year, and have the most profitable corporations pay the same tax rate they do at the top tier in New Jersey. [00:42:18] What they would actually pay here in New York. [00:42:20] These things together would pay for the entirety of our economic agenda and start to Trump proof our city. [00:42:24] Because as you've said, the endorsements that Andrew Cuomo has got, and this morning he started it by going on Fox and Friends. [00:42:30] We're talking about Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Stephen Miller. [00:42:32] These are the architects, in many ways, of the crisis of authoritarianism that New Yorkers are facing. [00:42:37] And Andrew Cuomo is so unwilling to tax Donald Trump's billionaire donors because he knows those are the same ones whose checks he's busy caching trying to get back to City So.
