BREAKING: Jasmine Crockett OUT — Texas’s FAKE “Girl From The Hood” LOSES IT After ‘Gov Hot Wheels’ STRIKES BACK!

Trish Regan reports on Texas redistricting efforts to remove Representative Jasmine Crockett, whom she labels a "fake 'Girl From The Hood'" despite her stable St. Louis upbringing. Governor Greg Abbott leads the gerrymander push as payback for Crockett's mockery calling him "Governor Hot Wheels," while rumors swirl about Rachel Maddow's firing and The View's cancellation. Regan highlights Crockett's trademarking of the "bleach bit" phrase after clashes with Marjorie Taylor Greene and alleges she discriminates against Black staff despite demanding an Escalade chauffeur. Ultimately, the segment frames these political maneuvers as a broader battle over accountability and narrative control in Washington. [Automatically generated summary]

Texas Redistricting Crisis 00:04:58
Jasmine Crockett, your days are numbered.
We are all over this story as Texas proceeds with its redistricting in the here and now.
Welcome to the program, everyone.
I am Trish Regan.
It is great.
We got a lot going on.
We got the DC crackdown going on.
We got Jazzy out of office, it looks like, in this new congressional redistricting there out of Texas.
And of course, we've got some trouble for Rachel Maddow.
Yeah, Rachel Maddow is rumored to be next out.
With the view, expecting some kind of cancellation.
So, we're going to get into all of this, guys.
It's a big show ahead, but we begin on Jasmine Crockett.
So, Jasmine Crockett, you know, Jazzy from Texas, the girl from the hood, who's not really from the hood, you see, because she's from St. Louis, Missouri, and went to private schools and grew up in a very stable household.
The dad was a teacher and a preacher.
The mom was a postal service worker, so she got great retirement benefits, you name it, government employee.
Anyway, Jasmine.
Is now looking like she's going to be redistricted right out of her region.
And I'll just tell you guys, you know what?
They've done this before.
They've done this throughout the country.
You go around, you take your pick of all these states where you have, say, 38% or 48% or 49% Republican, and yet the whole state is somehow blue.
Like, how does that make any sense?
And so now Republicans are like, okay, we got the ball.
We're going to run with it.
We're going to do what you guys did to us all those years.
And as they run with it, You've got Jasmine freaking out.
This is a total meltdown on her part.
But you know what?
Jazzy is going to be out.
So we have to get into that.
Hot Wheels, remember Governor Hot Wheels?
That kind of crass name that she called him?
Well, he's back for some bite.
Governor Hot Wheels, Abbott, Greg Abbott, is coming back and he's saying, no, no, no, you're not going to be here as one of us because we're going to redistrict you right out of the region.
This is the new map that they are proposing right here, right now.
So we want to get into All of this today.
We also want to talk a little bit about one Rachel Maddow because I'm not kidding.
We've talked before about how The View is about to be canceled.
Well, the next one up, what I'm hearing anyway, the intel is, is it's going to be one Rachel Maddow because Rachel Maddow's ratings just aren't there.
So she's expected to be out at MSNBC.
And this is, you know, this is par for the course, right?
This is the media industry.
And I'm sure she'll be fine.
She'll do her little podcast somewhere.
Hey, by the way, it's not that bad as long as you have a following.
Look at what we're doing.
I mean, we're nearly up to a million subs.
I got to tell you, I'll take that trade any day of the week.
I don't know if she can pull it off, but you know what?
She has some kind of following, some kind of niche.
I just don't think it's going to fly in mainstream media anymore.
So she's expected to be on the way out just as The View gets its cancellation notice from none other than Rosie O'Donnell.
She seems to be putting them on notice.
The other big story that we're all over today, again, is this one, because the media.
Much of the media is trying to present Washington, D.C. as some kind of, you know, lovely panacea where, you know, you can raise a family and this, that, and the other.
And they say, oh, you know, it's cleaned up since 2019.
I'm sorry, it's not cleaned up.
You know what's cleaned up?
And I'm not supposed to say this, but I'll tell you what's cleaned up the way they register crimes.
And so there's been an effort, a push to say, okay, we're not going to have so many crimes in this area.
And so consequently, the numbers look better.
But everybody knows, including an ABC reporter who went rogue and even, even a CNN reporter who went rogue and said as much.
So I want to get into all of those stories with you guys again today.
It is a big day.
Jasmine Crockett.
The representative from Dallas, Texas, who is not as she seems, and she tells us she's the girl from the hood, but she grew up with a kind of affluent middle class, upper middle class background, going to fancy schools and all that.
Jasmine Crockett is seeing her way right out of DC.
And you know what?
This is actually healthy for the Democrat Party.
I'll tell you that.
Because they don't need the Jasmine Crockett's of the world.
They don't really like her, by the way.
They use her because she's good for fundraising, apparently.
But they don't really like her because they know that this kind of image and this kind of language.
Really isn't appropriate for the Democrat Party.
Again, I want to get to this map.
This is what's going on, okay?
So they're taking the opportunity.
They've got the ball.
They're going to run with it there in Texas, the Republicans, and they're going to redistrict just the way California's redistricted, just the way Illinois has redistricted, just the way Massachusetts has redistricted.
You know, I'm not saying two wrongs make a right, but here we go.
Right now, in the here and now, you've got a situation where, hey, they've had their opportunity, right?
California Gerrymander Fallout 00:13:00
And they've run it and they've redistricted everything, they've gerrymandered their way.
In such that, you know, it's really hard to have fair and equal representation as a Republican in Washington, D.C.
So now Republicans in Texas are like, we want these five seats.
You got California totally losing it.
You've got Ken Paxton saying, hey, I'm going to back up the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott.
You know, Hot Wheels, Hot Wheels.
Jasmine called him Hot Wheels.
Well, he said, I'm going to fire you all.
And Ken Paxton, as we speak, is seeking the judicial authority to be able to do it because, you know, you don't show up for work, you're not going to get.
You're not going to get your seat.
So he could actually conceivably nominate, Greg Abbott could, the governor of Texas, nominate a whole bunch of people.
You know, again, I just say she's not great for the party.
In some ways, Abbott is doing the Democrat Party a total favor because do you really want this?
You know, this woman who's known for her bleach bit nonsense.
Ms. Green, for four minutes and 21 seconds.
Mr. Chair, point of order.
Who's?
It's me.
Ms. Crockett.
I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling, if someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleached, blonde, bad built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?
A what now?
Chairman, I make a motion to strike those words.
I don't think that's a part of it.
I'm trying to find clarification on what qualifications are required.
Chairman, motion to strike those words.
I swear what you just said.
We're not gonna do this.
Look, you guys earlier literally just voted to do it.
You just voted to do it.
You just voted to do it.
I'm trying to get clarification.
Order.
Look, calm down.
Calm down.
No, no, no, no.
Because this is what y'all do.
So I'm trying to get clarification.
You're not recognized.
I can't hear you with your yelling.
Calm down.
No.
Don't tell me to calm down.
Calm down.
Because y'all talk noise and then you can't.
You're out of control.
Because if I come and talk shit about her, y'all don't have a problem.
Mr. Chairman.
Mr. Chairman.
All right.
Chair.
Okay.
Order.
Chair now recognizes.
Yeah, that was a really bad moment.
That was a really, really bad moment for US politics in general.
And I didn't even realize there was an obscenity in there, but I should have because you know what?
This woman, Jasmine Crockett, can't keep her mouth clean.
And it's an act.
All right, just keep in mind, we're going to get into that because I want to kind of school you a little bit on her background and where she came from and how this whole appearance of being somehow from the wrong side of the tracks is not entirely true.
It's not at all true.
Okay, it's not at all true.
So she's the girl from the hood who, by the way, Her own staff now cannot stand, and they're recognizing that she is nothing but a social media, you know what?
She wants to be an influencer, okay?
So she wants to have a podcast, I guess.
I don't think she could.
I don't think she could actually string an argument together and have A, B, C, and D in some kind of conclusion or thesis, but who knows?
The woman did go to a fancy law school that costs somewhere around $60K a year.
She did go to fancy private schools to the tune of $30,000, $35,000 a year.
So, she's certainly been well educated.
Not that she's doing anything with the education, let's be honest, given what she's proceeded to do in Congress.
So, she's kind of an embarrassment.
She's a disgrace, if you would, for the Democrat Party, but they're stuck with her until now.
So, I think they owe Ken Paxton and Greg Abbott a gigantic thank you note and a whole bunch of flowers because Texas may just actually take this woman off their hands.
So, there's a lot of procedural stuff that has to happen.
And so, we don't want to count our chickens, right, before they hatch, so to speak.
But the new map is being designed to really combat some of the things that California, Massachusetts, Illinois, even New Hampshire have done in the last however many years.
When you look at the numbers, it's kind of stunning.
I was looking at this, somebody put this out.
On social media, just within the last 24 hours.
And these numbers are really quite something to see.
So let me see if I can bring them to you.
So, if this is correct, then basically you're looking at a situation where I guess the Democrats have frankly already gerrymandered Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, I mean, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Hawaii, Delaware.
I mean, they don't have any seats in these places.
How can you have a state that is 42% Republican and not have any seats?
I mean, it's remarkable to me, or New Hampshire, which is basically half Republican, and not have any seats at all.
Well, they only have a few congressional reps there, but you know, Rhode Island, another great example of this.
So, what is going on?
The gerrymandering has already happened, right?
And so now suddenly you've got Republicans that are willing to fight back because they need to hold on to Congress, right?
It's a big deal.
They want to hold on to Congress because if they don't, then I'll tell you, it's going to be really ugly.
And you know how I know it's going to be really ugly?
I know it's going to be ugly because.
These guys want to impeach Donald Trump again.
I mean, they tried three times before, right?
So why not?
You know, if they get the house, that's where we're right back at.
And so that would not be a good thing.
I think Donald Trump now is suddenly realizing he can't be on defense.
He knew that going in.
His team knew that going in.
He can't be on defense.
He's going to be on offense.
So if he's out there on offense, this is the way you do it.
Meanwhile, California's freaking out.
Oh my goodness.
Wait till you see what the governor of California is saying.
But before we get to that, remember Jasmine, okay?
Jasmine.
Who I predict is going to be over.
I just don't think she's got the stamina, frankly.
I think she'd rather be a social media influencer.
I'm not the only one.
The staff apparently thinks that.
I think she'd rather be an MSNBC anchor.
I don't think she could actually hold a podcast because there's some heavy lifting over here.
Okay, guys, you know, this is all me, right?
So the editorial responsibility of doing something like I'm doing right now would be too, well, difficult, shall we say, for somebody in too much work, I suspect, for the likes of Jasmine Crockett, who wants to ride around in a SUV driven by her staff all the time.
So she needs lots of staff and apparently doesn't treat the staff very, very well.
Jasmine Crockett, after that bleach bit thing with Marjorie Taylor Greene, wound up on our favorite show, Kidding, The View, where she was asked about it because you know what she did?
She went out and trademarked that term and then started selling t shirts.
Yeah, selling t shirts, coined a new phrase about it, the whole bit, right?
All while simultaneously criticizing Trump for some of the commercial efforts he has undertaken.
So the hypocrisy is just pretty stunning.
But this is what you should expect from a woman like this.
Again, I'm predicting here that her career is over and that the Republicans are doing this, but really, Democrats should be sending a thank you note because you don't need any more of this.
Take a look.
You have fundraised off of merchandise around this, and you've gotten some pushback from people saying, you know, are we just lowering the institution if we're both kind of playing into this?
How do you respond to that?
Kind of like the audience just did.
Listen, here's the deal.
There are people, such as Trump, that want to peddle Bibles, peddle gym shoes, peddle whatever it is, and anything that he can sell, he's going to sell it.
And he's not doing it for his party, he's doing it for self.
So, what She meant for evil.
In my opinion, God meant for good.
And so that's what I was going to do in that moment.
When I set out to do the trademark, that is not personally done, it's done under the campaign.
It was because there was a demand.
I'm a business major who also is a lawyer.
So the two things came together, right?
So this is about making sure that we can raise the monies.
It's so that I can help save our democracy.
My money goes to frontliners, people that are in fights to make sure that we can take the house.
We've seen that the house has been run like a circus.
We need Hakeem Jeffries as the Speaker of the House.
And so, if they lose the House, I'm just going to go ahead and blame it on Marjorie.
Okay.
Yeah.
So, back to Marjorie, right?
Because there's this thing between the two of them.
Well, I mean, Marjorie did criticize her fake eyelashes, which was understandably warranted.
And she fired back with, you know, the bleach bit nonsense.
Anyway, bleach.
But, you know, we just have to be able to follow her lingo.
But apparently, she spends all her time like thinking up these things in order to kind of create a social media storm because that's what she's interested in doing.
All while now we get this crisis of sorts going on, in that it's really, really important.
I kid you not that the Republicans secure the House in 26.
And one of the ways to do this is to redistrict in Texas, much like they did in California.
Again, you know, it's sort of payback.
And this team in the White House now is on offense, they're not on defense.
So this is a different kind of thing.
Well, Governor Newsom is flipping out about this.
This is Texas versus California, you guys.
And he put this one out.
It's kind of funny.
I was reading some of his tweets and I'm like, excuse me, is this some kind of flattery for President Trump?
They do say imitation is a form of flattery, right?
Take a look at this tweet, this social post on X.
He wrote in all capital letters: Final warning, Donald Trump, maybe the most important warning in history.
Stop cheating or California will redraw the maps.
And guess what?
Who will announce it next week?
Gavin Newsom, many say the most loved and handsome governor and a very powerful team.
Don't make us do it.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Okay, so is it playful?
Is it funny?
Or is it just annoying?
I mean, it's amazing how he's just trying to challenge.
Like he took what he wanted to say and he put it into ChatGPT and he said, hey, sound like Donald Trump and they spit this thing back out.
So I think that Newsom is now looking at this and he's kind of freaking out.
He's trying to say, okay, we can go back and we can do something.
But I got to tell you guys, I don't think they can do a lot.
I don't think they can do a lot.
I want to show you what Greg Abbott is saying on this.
He went on to CNN recently, spoke with that, you know, if you want to call him an anchor, I don't know what you want to call him, the tapper guy, you know, that came out with the book because he's always looking to cash in and make a good payday.
The one that's friends with Clooney that tried to take down Lara Trump and say that, oh, you know, Joe Biden just had a stutter and how dare she make fun of kids and people with stutters.
Yeah, that guy.
Anyway, Abbott went on with him.
And he basically sent a really big warning to the state of California.
And this is important because if you listen to Abbott, there's no way in HELL that Gavin Newsom and California are going to win this battle.
Abbott has it locked up.
Watch.
As a bigger picture item, which is what's unusual about this is that you're attempting to do it in 2025 as opposed to waiting till the end of the decade, as normally is when the redistricting takes place.
You've explained the Supreme Court decision.
That led you to do this.
But what's going on, obviously, is not happening in Texas, it's not happening in a vacuum.
We have Democrats in California and New York and other states saying, well, if Governor Abbott does this in Texas, we're going to add five Democratic seats.
Are you not worried at all about a redistricting, gerrymandering arms race going on?
And theoretically, is it not just better for voters to be picking their politicians instead of politicians to be picking their voters through gerrymandering?
Well, to be clear, listen, all those big blue states, they've already gerrymandered.
Look at the map of Illinois.
Look at the map of California, New York, and Massachusetts, and so many other blue states.
They gerrymandered a long time ago.
They got nothing left with regard to what they can do.
And know this, if California's.
Tries to gerrymander five more districts.
Listen, Texas has the ability to eliminate 10 Democrats in our state.
We can play that game more than they can because they have fewer Republican districts in their states.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
You see that?
And he's right.
They can play that game a whole lot longer and harder than California possibly could because they have already in California gone about as far as they can go.
So this is a big deal.
Okay.
Like we're talking about changing the map here.
And I get it.
You know, people are frustrated.
How dare you?
But you know, I'll tell you, how dare you just leave the state of Texas?
50 of them, 50 Democrats just took off and said, you know what?
We're not going to do this.
The Jasmine Crockett Myth 00:07:59
And they're not actually sitting down to try and negotiate or get anything done.
And so, listen, Abbott and Paxton are totally right to say, hey, guys, you're going to be fired.
Jasmine Crockett, you're going to be fired.
You don't show up for work.
That's not going to fly.
You are going to be done.
Meanwhile, as we discussed, this woman is not who you think she is.
She is.
A fake.
Jasmine Crockett is not the girl from the hood.
Jasmine Crockett is the girl from the upper middle class background who went to fancy schools, private schools, grew up in a stable household.
Guess what?
We've talked about this before the importance of having two parents in the household.
She had two working parents.
One parent worked for the government, the postal service, her mom.
The dad was a teacher, so education was really important and a preacher, right?
So, education, family values, all those things that we talk about that she doesn't care about anymore.
Suddenly, Because I don't know, it's not popular.
She wants to be on the other side of things, the girl from the hood.
These are the things that actually go into having productive members of society.
I'm sorry.
I mean, I know that every marriage is not a panacea.
And, you know, I'm not telling people that need to get divorced that you, you know, there's no other way, but you certainly try, right?
When you have kids.
Well, she grew up the product of a stable household background, which is something that a lot of the kids in DC, for example, that they're talking about right now, that Janine Pirro is putting on notice along with the president of the United States and kids in the Dallas district that she represents.
Didn't have.
Has she done anything for the people of Dallas?
The answer no.
And they would tell you this.
In fact, Benny Johnson was just down there and saw that.
They're like another YouTuber.
They said that there is nothing that she is doing to help them.
So I would just ask you, why the heck are you electing her?
Well, maybe you won't have to elect her anymore because of what?
The new redistricting.
Anyway, this woman is phony as you know what.
She's also, according to staff members, the boss from hell.
So take a look at this.
This came out in the New York Post.
It's some kind of mutiny on the Democrat Party, right?
They're really trying to take her down.
You have three of the staffers coming out and telling the New York Post she's the boss from hell, that she cares more about.
Doing her social media thing and being an influencer and maybe getting a gig in cable one day than she does about actually legislating, actually going to the office there on Capitol Hill.
She doesn't do that.
Instead, she stays in her, quote, luxury DC apartment while they complete all of her tasks and they drive her.
She even has them doing her laundry.
I mean, this is wild to me, wild, absolutely insane.
Like, why would you ever, ever allow this?
I thought this was really clever.
My former colleague over at Fox.
Jesse Waters was talking about this recently.
He called her the princess passenger because of the SUV thing.
Take a listen to this one, guys.
But when the cameras are off, Crockett's real claws come out.
Staffers say she bites harder than she barks.
And the whole fighting for you act, one big cheap fake.
She even works from home.
Quote, she's laying around her apartment, won't come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them.
When Crockett actually shows up for work, she wants to be treated like Governor Hot Wheels.
She hates using her legs.
She demands her staff play chauffeur and drive from the Capitol to her office.
It's only a few blocks.
And the car can't be some cheap Subaru.
It's got to be an Escalade.
After that, the aide must, and this is important, stand outside the car and open the door like it's the Met Gala.
Another aide says Crockett's obsessed with being the black Sydney Sweeney.
Quote, she's focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress.
Crockett's all diva, no wow.
And Crockett might talk a big DEI game, but if you're black, You're the first to get the pink slip.
I don't want to hear Jasmine Crockett talk about helping black women when she just fired one for no reason.
Wow.
He's funny, right?
You got to admit, I like the Subaru comment and a few others in there.
But, you know, she does put on a bit of an act in terms of the DEI stuff.
But the staff is actually saying that she doesn't treat people that are also black fairly.
And they've got like just complaint after complaint after complaint.
I mean, this is something when your own staff is coming out against you, you must be a pretty horrible kind of boss, shall we say.
Now, she's treating this like a badge of honor, for goodness sake.
She just went on to CBS and she said, Hey, you know what?
Like, if they're not talking about you, then what's it worth?
It must mean that I have reached some kind of status, some kind of power level that they are out there complaining about me.
And she's, well, she's just kind of not likable.
Can I say that?
I mean, she just comes across as not a likable person.
So it leaves you, you know, when you hear this, saying, Yeah, I have no doubt.
I mean, she just doesn't seem like there's much in the way of any kind of empathy in there.
She doesn't seem like she's a kind person at all.
So, the boss from hell kind of label, I think that that's going to stick for a while.
Now, she'll say, this is just, you know, poor me, whoa me.
I'm a black woman.
I'm young, this, that, and the other.
And therefore, they're going to attack me in this way.
But I don't think so.
I really don't think so.
I don't think this has anything to do with being black.
I don't think it has anything to do with being young.
And I don't think it has anything to do with being a woman.
You know what?
I haven't actually heard this about Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
I haven't heard the bad boss stuff, which is kind of interesting because you hear a lot about Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, but you don't hear the bad boss thing.
And I think there's a reason for that, right?
But maybe, you know, there's a lot to fault her, including somehow paying, you know, sketchy payments to salsa dance teachers instead of actually using her constituents' money in the right ways.
I mean, that's a whole other thing.
And not to mention the other situation with the tax the rich dress that she somehow didn't realize she should ever pay for.
I mean, she may just be stupid, right?
Jasmine Crockett is a little bit stupid as well.
Donald Trump keeps insulting her IQ.
And I suspect there's a bit of a reason for that.
But again, I'm looking for this soundbite because if I can show you this, I think it's worth seeing with her there on CBS where she spoke to the reporter saying, Oh, you know, well, this is just par for the course.
You know, they're coming after me now because I have made it, et cetera, et cetera.
And I think people even see that and say, Again, there's no sort of humanity.
Why didn't she show some humility?
Maybe she's just not capable of it.
While I look for that, I also want to show you here is Jasmine Crockett on CNN.
Trying to say, you know what, this is all about race.
Take a look at this one, guys, because I know it's going to make your blood boil over.
Watch.
And so I want people to see him and understand who he is.
This is a person that has a problem with people of color, period.
I don't care how many black MAGA out there with their hats.
I want to be clear when we look at who it is that he's kicking out of this country as people of color.
When we look at who he always disrespects and says that they are low IQ, even though when you look at his cabinet, this has to be the most incompetent cabinet.
We have ever had in the history of this country when we're talking about people that literally have the ability to drop bombs or order that bombs be dropped or make recommendations that bombs be dropped, and they literally don't know how to get the signal chat right.
So we're talking about low IQ individuals, but so long as they say that this guy is their guy, and usually if they work for a certain news network, that's the only qualification that's necessary.
Incompetent Cabinet Critique 00:00:21
I've got news for the president.
I am not going anywhere.
No matter how many squiggly lines they draw in the state of Texas, I will be back.
And I will be on his behind and making sure the real accountability that the American people are demanding, whether they're Democrats, Republicans, or independents, that it is had when the Democrats take control of this House in the midterms.
Congressman.
