President Donald Trump demands the immediate release of Jeffrey Epstein files, labeling the investigation a Democratic hoax orchestrated by Christopher Wray and James Comey. The episode highlights a three-minute cut from a Dan Bongino tape featuring 2025-dated files, while Adam Schiff faces mortgage fraud allegations from Letitia James for listing Maryland as his residence despite living in California. With Ghislaine Maxwell's family seeking habeas corpus due to alleged government misconduct and Speaker Mike Johnson supporting transparency, the discussion suggests U.S. intelligence agencies may have suppressed evidence, implying a broader cover-up than previously acknowledged. Epstein Tape Missing Minutes00:15:19
we're live.
How about that?
We got a lot going on.
President, I'll tell you, is really not taking this whole Epstein thing very well.
He is absolutely positively furious at this moment in time, ladies and gentlemen.
He's making it clear on true social, in meetings, and this is not an easy one to navigate.
No, it's not.
And, you know, I think that people are expecting a lot more.
They're not getting what they thought, and there may be reasons for that, which we have discussed, including the potential that Perhaps U.S. intelligence agencies were involved and nobody wants that stuff to come out because boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, it's going to be bad.
But maybe it has to come out, right?
Like maybe we need to know.
Anyway, what I want to be clear on is we don't want MAGA going down with the ship, okay?
So let's be cautious.
Let's be careful.
Let's talk about this in a pragmatic way rather than an overly emotional way.
We're going to get to all of that.
It is good to have you here.
Make sure you subscribe, share, like all that good stuff here on the Trish Wegan Show.
We get a lot going on.
As I said, just looking at some of the headlines coming in today.
Not just what Donald Trump is saying about Epstein at this moment in time, but we got to get to some of the stuff on Shifty Shift, who's having a kind of shifty day.
Yeah, how do you like that?
He is in the hot seat as we speak because of these mortgage fraud allegations.
Forgive me, we have some sound bites going off.
What do you know on my phone?
But we do have a lot going on with Shifty Shift that we want to get to.
We want Donald Trump and his side of the story where he's calling this whole thing with Epstein total BS, except he's saying the full word.
We've got maxwell.
I never say her name right, guys.
So you guys are always correcting me and I've heard it different ways.
Ghislaine, Ghislaine, whatever.
Okay, we're going to go with Maxwell.
That way Trish doesn't mess it up.
Maxwell is there in her minimum security prison and she's throwing a fit and she's offering to testify.
Mike Johnson says, okay.
So this is getting kind of convoluted.
I'm going to share her side of the story and what her family is saying coming up as well as, well, some more to talk about vis-a-vis the Fed.
Yeah.
Jerome, you might be done.
And maybe that's a good thing.
as well as, well, the education department going, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye.
You know, the lady who's the president of the NEA, she's losing it over this one.
But we begin, we begin, we begin with Donald Trump absolutely positively furious at everyone for continuing to talk about Epstein.
Of course, every time he talks about it, now we have to talk about it.
So if, you know, he puts it to a social out, you know I'm going to talk about it, right?
And now it's just getting weirder and weirder and weirder and weirder, right?
Because three minutes apparently have gone missing.
Now from that Epstein tape, that Epstein tape that Dan Bongino was bragging about saying, and I love Dan, don't get me wrong, he's a dear friend and I trust him and I think that he thought he saw the right thing, but if it's good intel op, believe me, you might even be able to fool the likes of a Dan Bongino.
So there's now three minutes missing from that tape.
What do you guys think of that?
Here's Donald Trump moments ago calling out this stuff saying, would you people get over it, please?
Meanwhile, he's simultaneously saying, I mean, less than 24 hours ago, Pam, for God's sakes, just released all the tapes.
I want to be done with it, okay?
Here he is.
Watch.
Mr. Castan, Mr. President, I know you want to move past all this intrigue over the Epstein files, but I do want to ask you to clarify something you said this morning.
You said this was all a hoax.
Has your attorney general told you this was a hoax?
What evidence have you seen?
No, it's not the attorney general, no.
I know it's a hoax.
It's started by Democrats.
It's been run by the Democrats for four years.
You had Christopher Wray and these characters and Comey before him.
And it's a bad group.
It started, actually, look at the Steele dossier that turned out to be a total hoax.
The 51 agents, the intelligence, so-called intelligence agents, was a hoax.
It's all been a big hoax.
It's perpetrated by the Democrats.
And some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net.
And so they try and do the Democrats' work.
The Democrats are good for nothing other than these hoaxes.
They're bad for policy.
They're bad for picking candidates that can get elected.
Like in New York, we have a communist running.
He may get elected, too, actually, but he'll destroy the city.
No, no, I call it the Epstein hoax.
It takes a lot of time and effort.
Instead of talking about the great achievements, we've had a great gentleman yesterday, as you know, went on CNBC and he made the statement that Trump may go down as the greatest president of all in the United States.
That's Ken Longone, by the way.
I've got to play that sound bite for you.
It's just terrific.
Instead of talking about the things we've achieved, we've had tremendous achievement.
They're wasting their time with a guy who obviously had some very serious problems who died.
three, four years ago, I'd rather talk about the success we have with the economy, the best we've ever had, and all of the things we've done, including in the Middle East.
I mean, you see it.
Instead, they want to talk about the Epstein hooks.
And the sad part is it's people that are really doing the Democrats' work.
They're stupid people.
Yeah, go ahead.
Wow.
I mean, stupid people.
What happened to the camera?
Huh.
Guys.
Can you see this?
It's like all kind of fuzzy.
I'm really becoming an audio show at this moment in time.
You know, we got a new camera here on the Tristregan Show.
I'm hoping it comes into focus.
Can it?
Can it?
Come on.
There we go.
There we go.
Okay, it just took a minute.
Well, that's good to know.
I'm going to have to check that one out after the fact.
We have a new camera, which I think looks pretty good.
But, you know, apparently we have to suffer through moments like that.
We'll figure out what's going on.
We've got to get the tech team on board.
Anyway, Donald Trump is like kind of getting sick of this, right?
Like he's like, you guys, what are you doing?
What are you doing?
What are you doing?
But he's been sick of it.
He's been sick of it for a while and he's calling out the stupid people.
And that would be actually some people that have supported him pretty heavily and not.
Right?
I mean, Tucker Carlson, Tucker Carlson really didn't like Trump very much.
Remember?
In fact, I think Fox actually somehow leaked a bunch of those texts where Trump was somehow a thorn in Tucker's side and Tucker kept going on and on about how much he couldn't stand him.
And if I recall Megyn Kelly, she really tried to take him down, did she not?
Back in 2016?
We know about that.
Interesting.
I mean, Bannon I love.
I think Bannon's heart is in the right place, but, you know, Bannon's kind of a, you know what, disturber.
And you got to wonder, is there some kind of effort going on to kind of take MAGA hostage and split it apart?
And are they stupid people doing that?
Or maybe they have an ulterior motive.
Maybe Tucker Carlson wants to run for president.
Maybe Megyn Kelly visions herself in some kind of big position in the future.
I don't know.
Dan Bongino, I trust.
Dan Bongino is salt of the earth.
And I think Dan Bongino has been kind of caught in a bad spot and not psyched about it because he's having to basically carry water for Pam Bondi.
Understandably, he's not too happy, especially when the latest and greatest is three minutes missing from the tape.
We're going to get to that.
But before we do, I want you to see Donald Trump just yesterday saying, you know what?
Release it all.
All of it.
All of it.
I'm sick of this stupid story.
Just put it all out there.
Here he is.
You may have to turn up the volume a teeny tiny speck.
He's on the tarmac.
He loves talking on the tarmac.
Watch.
I urge people to move on, but I'm curious, why do you think your supporters in particular have been so interested in the Epstein story and so upset about how it's been handled?
I don't understand it.
Why they would be so interested.
He's dead for a long time.
He was never a big factor in terms of life.
I don't understand what the interest or what the fascination is.
I really don't.
And the credible information been given.
Don't forget we went through years of the Mueller witch hunt and all of the different things, the steel dossier, which was all fake.
All that information was fake.
But I don't understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody.
It's pretty boring stuff.
It's sordid, but it's boring.
And I don't understand why it keeps going.
I think really only pretty bad people, including fake news, want to keep something like that going.
But credible information, Let them give it.
Let them have it.
Mr. President, a question on AI.
Okay, so that's important.
You know, he's saying anything that's credible, let them have it.
So here's the problem.
What's in there that's not credible?
And he, did he just admit that this guy, Epstein, is actually some kind of spy?
I mean, did that just sort of confirm it?
Because he's saying that, you know, it's just like the dossier stuff.
I mean, that's peculiar.
Right.
So that goes back to our theory that, in fact yeah, he was working for somebody and you know, in that industry you get a bunch of uh intel that's not exactly always evidence or facts.
Heck, Brennan said that.
Remember, the other day I showed you that clip from 2017.
Brennan's like, i'm sorry, I work in intelligence, not in evidence, and it's like, gosh, darn it buddy, you were head of the CIA.
Don't you think that if you get some intel on something, you ought to follow it up so you actually get the evidence on something?
I mean, rather than operating off of innuendo and this, that and the other?
But he's sort of poking a hole in this thing, saying he doesn't really trust whatever.
This is, which leads me to believe, yeah, that guy was working for some intelligence ops.
And he may even been working for some really sort of rogue intelligence ops.
What if he was working for the Russians, for goodness sakes?
We don't know.
We don't know.
And so I think his point is, you know, for the likes of Tucker or Megan or any of these people like buying into it, be really, really careful, which is exactly what I was saying on Saturday over the weekend when they had the whole turning point thing going on.
I was like, guys.
Be careful here because all you're doing is providing ammunition, tons of it, for the likes of the mainstream media, which are all too happy, happy, happy to oblige.
But again, I want to go back to what Bongino was saying.
So they kept telling us, okay, there's going to be a tape.
There's going to be a tape and that tape is going to explain everything.
And I think that, you know, Bongino, to his credit, believed that there would be a tape that explained everything.
And this is why you see him here.
Let me play you the clip of him on Fox and Friends just a couple months ago saying, there's going to be this tape.
It'll actually explain everything.
And we'll get to the bottom of it.
Well, I got a headline for you.
I'm going to show you the tape.
There isn't one minute missing from the tape.
There's three.
Here's Dan.
Those two cases obviously are of significant public interest.
I'm just telling you what we see in the file.
I just want to be crystal clear on this.
I am not asking anyone to believe me.
I'm telling you what's there and what isn't.
There is nothing in the file at this point on the Epstein case, and there's going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly.
We are working through some, there is video.
That is something the public does not know.
There's video of him killing himself.
No, no, not the actual act, but the entire MCC Bay, it was only one camera.
There were other, there's video that when you look at the video, and we will release, that's what's taken a while on this.
We are working On cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced driver.
And we're gonna give the original so you don't think there were any shenanigans.
You're gonna see there's no one there but him.
There's just nobody there.
So I say to people all the time, if you have a tip, let us know.
But there's no DNA, there's no audio, there's no fingerprints, there's no suspects, there's no accomplices, there's no tips, there is nothing.
If you have it, I'm happy to see it.
There's video clear as day.
He's the only person in there and the only person coming out.
You can see it.
Okay.
So that actually gives me more reason to think. that this was a really good op because he's sitting there saying, okay, there's no evidence, there's no evidence.
Well, apparently there's like three minutes missing from the alleged evidence.
I mean, this is here we go.
I got to get my picture up here so that we have the audio.
There's three minutes now missing from this tape.
And I just find that to be really, really, really peculiar.
They got to get this right before they start releasing things.
Otherwise, you're going to be in a position where people are saying, wait a second, what?
So according to the latest reports, the prison video that was recent released, right, it actually has almost three minutes cut out, not just the one minute that was originally reported.
And this is according to Wired, Wired Magazine, which is kind of like a tech magazine.
And they were onto something the other day, and we shared it with you.
They were saying that there were some anomalies here that just didn't look right.
So the outlet says that the raw video was stitched together in Adobe Premiere Pro.
From two different files.
Oh my gosh.
Like, what on earth?
Let's keep playing this because I've got more to tell you from what they have discovered there at Wired Magazine.
I mean, this is really bizarre.
And, you know, if I'm Trump, I'm livid too because now this conspiracy is just getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Okay, so back to the tape.
Okay, three minutes now missing.
Three minutes missing from this.
So-called tape that was going to prove it all where you see that nobody's there.
Well, according to Wired Magazine, they're saying that, quote, further analysis shows that one of the source clips was approximately two minutes and 53 seconds longer than the segment included in the final video, indicating, they write, that footage appears to have been trimmed before release.
They go on to say, this is Wired Magazine, quote, the file was actually edited and saved several times over a period of more than three and a half hours on May 23rd, 2025.
Oh my gosh, so it's sloppy.
It's sloppy like.
This is not even good intel work.
Like, for goodness sakes, if you guys were going to release it, don't you think you'd actually clean up the files and make sure that you couldn't actually see what the imprint was?
You know how, like if you take a photo, you can kind of detect when that photo was taken and on what kind of camera and where it was, etc.
Well, both analyses, according to Wired, found that the two clips, one labeled 5 22, 25 and another labeled 16 35, 21 oh, forgive me and another one was labeled 5 22, 2025.
Schiff Residence Mortgage Fraud00:10:05
It has 21 12 48 as a label.
They were stitched together.
The first clip is four hours, 19 minutes, and 16 seconds long, but only the first four hours, 16 minutes, and 23.368 seconds appear in the published version, meaning nearly two minutes and 53 seconds were cut from the end.
According to the metadata, the cut occurs just around 11 58 58.
So we did know that there was a missing minute, right?
We knew about that, but now They're saying that whatever was put out had been stitched together and there was actually like three minutes missing.
And that is a problem.
And so, gosh darn it, is the camera.
Wait for it.
Wait for it.
We're going to have to fix this.
I'll be back in focus in a moment.
I like the camera.
I like what it does.
But there's some technical things that I'm going to have to get the hang of.
Anyway, this is just turning into like a wild, wild, wild story.
And I think that, you know, we deserve more.
The public deserves more and hopefully eventually we do get more.
Turning, shifting gears to our favorite little guy, Shifty Shift.
Shifty Shift.
Camera, you're not doing me any favors.
Guys, what do you think?
I think we're like magic, like magic.
How do you like that?
Shifty shift is getting some, what do you know, shifty news.
So apparently he decided to pull a Letitia.
That's what I'm going to call it, Letitia.
That's a euphemism for alleged mortgage fraud.
Letitia James, remember how she tried to go after Donald Trump for mortgage fraud?
But that shouldn't have gotten like the time of day.
I mean, it actually strangely did to the point where now.
He's looking at a $500 million, half a billion dollar fine from good old Tishy out of New York, who I don't think is going to get elected again.
Another story for another day.
But she is accused of having engaged in mortgage fraud.
Letitia James possibly have engaged, she engaged in mortgage fraud because she tried to say in her power of attorney when she was applying for the mortgage that her primary residence was in Virginia when in fact it was in New York.
I mean, obviously she was the attorney general in New York and that had to be her primary residence.
Now, if you're a congressperson, like Adam Schiff, or now a senator, like Adam Schiff, you have your home residence as your home residence.
So, you know, if you're from New Hampshire and you're a congressman from New Hampshire, your home, your primary residence where your family's supposed to live is in New Hampshire.
But, you know, you get to go down to D.C. and, you know, maybe you stay through Thursday afternoon and you take the shuttle back to Logan, Boston, and you're back home in New Hampshire.
Well, if you're in California, you're definitely leaving on Thursday, right?
If you're shifty shift, he's probably out of there as fast as he can get because he's got a long plane ride home, home to California.
which is where his family residence would be.
So therefore, that would be the main residence.
So you wouldn't be actually saying that your primary residence is in the DC area now, would you?
Well, you might if you're Shifty Shift, right?
So this is what he's being accused of right now.
I have always suspected Shifty Adam Shift was a scam artist, he writes.
And now I learn that Fannie Mae's financial crimes division has concluded that Adam Shift has engaged in a sustained pattern of mortgage fraud.
Adam Schiff said his primary residence was in Maryland to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, he wrote, when he must live in California because he was a congressman from California.
I always knew Adam Schiff was a crook.
The fraud began, as is alleged, with the refinancing of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on October 13, 2020.
Mortgage fraud is a very serious and crooked adam Schiff.
Now, a senator needs to be brought to justice.
Well, in fact, it is actually really serious.
And you could actually find that this would turn into a criminal investigation.
And that's sort of the direction it's heading in.
Donald Trump weighing in on the situation just yesterday after he had sent this out on social media, a little bit more of a toned down approach.
And he's saying, well, you know, I don't know about these allegations, but they sound suspicious.
But he does say this.
He wants this guy brought to justice and brought to justice fast.
Listen to Donald Trump talking about Shifty.
I think Adam Schiff is one of the lowest of the low.
I would love to see him brought to justice.
He is a dishonest, crooked guy.
I don't know about the individual charge, if that even happens, but Adam Schiff is a serious lowlife.
And tomorrow morning here in Washington, AOC is hosting Doran Bazani for breakfast.
Adam Schiff, I believe.
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
I'd love to be.
I'd really love to go.
I mean, I look forward to meeting them both.
I know them both very well.
So he would like to see him brought to justice.
What might that look like?
It actually could look like jail.
I won't go to the Fox report on it here this morning, taking a listen here to my former colleague, Peter Ducey.
Watch.
Has committed mortgage fraud, and part of the president's argument is this.
I've always suspected shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist.
Adam Schiff said that his primary residence.
In Maryland to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America when he must live in California because he was a congressman from California.
And here's a quick refresher about President Trump's beef with Schiff.
He is using the department as both sword and shield, acting like a convicted felon because he is a convicted felon.
The Trump administration is corrupt.
No one, not even a president, is above the law.
Spends a lot of time in Maryland, is responding.
So, the president today is accusing me of fraud, and the basis of his accusation is that I own a home in Maryland and I own a home in California.
Big surprise.
Members of Congress, almost all of them own more than one home or rent more than one home because we're required to be on both coasts.
So he is using my ownership of two homes to make a false claim of mortgage fraud.
The president wants stiff penalties here, so we had a chance to ask how stiff.
When you say that you want Adam Schiff brought to justice, I would love to see him brought to justice.
Is that you, Dale?
I think, I'll tell you what, I think Adam Schiff is one of the lowest of the low.
I would love to see him brought to justice.
He is a dishonest, crooked guy.
I don't know about the individual.
Charge if that even happens.
But Adam Schiff is a serious lowlife.
The New York Post first reported that Schiff barely spent any time in California because he was always at this Maryland house three years ago.
Back to you.
Yeah, so I guess one of the things was that they said that they listed it as his primary residence, Peter.
That was it.
And you can't do that.
Oh.
Yes.
And the greater, the longer version of President Trump's Truth Social is very, very detailed.
The specific dates that certain things were, certain boxes were checked on mortgage applications.
But yes uh, the president is accusing Schiff of saying that Maryland was uh, his primary residence when he was running to represent California yeah, which it's like amazing.
Like why would you do that?
I mean, why would you take such a stupid risk unless you're really really really, really stupid yourself?
I mean Leticia James, we always say she's an attorney, so there's no excuse like, oh my gosh, you know, there was really Nothing to see here, because it was just an honest mistake.
That's her story.
She's sticking to it.
But I'm sorry.
You're an attorney.
Like, all the more reason for you to be more articulate on all of that.
And Shifty Schiff, I mean, again, he was an attorney as well.
So there's no excuse.
You're an attorney.
You're a congressman.
You're now a senator.
What are you doing?
I mean, Letitia's going down for the same exact thing.
Recommended that the DOJ investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Over alleged mortgage fraud.
The AG, Letitia James, has responded.
We don't have the video, but here's the quote This investigation into me is nothing more than retribution.
It's baseless.
It has to do with the fact that on a power of attorney, I mistakenly indicated that I was a state of Virginia resident.
And prior to that, I indicated to the mortgage broker that, in fact, in bold cap letters, that I am not a resident of Virginia and never will be.
They just took the power of attorney and they're using that as a basis for enforcement of their investigation.
Bill, do you know why she said she was a resident of Virginia on the power of attorney, if in fact she wasn't?
Well, I know that we are mortgage experts and we only refer things that we think are mortgage fraud and we stand 100% behind the letter.
I'll let the letter speak for itself.
I do know and I have seen some reports from that subject's criminal defense lawyer saying certain things.
I'll leave it to the DOJ to correct various things.
But again, when we see mortgage fraud, we are going to report it.
When we see mortgage fraud, we are going to prosecute it within the confines of our.
And we are not going to be intimidated by a subject's criminal defense lawyer.
We are not going to be intimidated by a politician or just because you have an Asquire behind your name.
We are not going to be intimidated by people.
If we see mortgage fraud, we're going to do something about it.
Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card00:04:30
And I think that you're going to see us be taking this on in a big way.
Mortgage fraud is a big problem.
These companies are safe and sound, but where we see it, we are going to do something about it.
And that subject's case is no different.
Well, what are the ramifications?
And, by the way, the subject's case for Shifty, Shift, right, is is no different either.
And so same kind of thing.
You know, they're making it very clear they're going to take this on.
They're going to take this on a really big way and I think that um, there could be more people.
I mean like if, if there's more members of Congress doing this whoa, they're gonna blow the lid wide open on all of them, as they should.
Uh, you may have seen the news that uh Powell is possibly out.
Well first, he was out last night.
Now apparently he's back in Donald Trump's sort of.
You know, he's going both ways.
He held up a lair to some members of Congress and was like, i've got his letter telling him he has to resign, that i'm firing him.
This was last night or earlier today, and then today he came out and told the press.
Well, you know maybe, maybe he stays for a while.
We'll see how it goes, but I can tell you you know what's doing.
Rather well, on the news, i'm betting that.
Let's see where bitcoin is right now.
All the cryptos are up wow, wow.
So bitcoin again approaching 120k on that, which is just sort of fascinating to see right um, you know, and it brings me to you know we're fully independent on the show.
It brings me to one of our new sponsors that I wanted to tell you about, which is Gemini.
And this is just great.
You know, I was trying to book a trip recently and I was trying to use miles and you accumulate miles on your credit card.
And I'm like, I'm pretty sure that it didn't used to cost this much on miles.
I am, I'm like positive, right?
Like everything's like times two or from a few years ago, like times four.
It's crazy.
Like how much inflation has gotten built into the miles.
So, you know, everything costs more apparently.
And even, well, not.
at least when it comes to the credit cards.
I don't know, we've actually seen egg prices come down recently and stuff like that.
So that's good.
But when it comes to credit card companies, for whatever reason, your miles aren't what they used to be.
And so when I heard about what Gemini was doing, I actually thought this was really cool.
Because if you think about credit card companies overall, they don't want the liability of all those rewards on hand.
So I think that there's, between you and me, an effort to kind of judge them vis-a-vis inflation.
And so then all of a sudden, everything costs more.
and you need more rewards points in order to buy things like hotel rooms or airlines or any of that.
Well, with this card that Gemini has, you're actually getting rewarded in cryptos, Bitcoin, for example.
So if Bitcoin goes up, and that's if, right?
Let's hope it goes up.
If it goes up, your rewards go up.
So imagine that.
Imagine like actually having rewards that have a chance of being worth more in the future rather than less.
provided the crypto goes up.
I mean, it's actually kind of incredible.
And with this particular card, as I said, from Gemini that you can get, you can see your rewards increase provided Bitcoin prices increase.
And I think that's kind of revolutionary.
That's a whole new way of thinking about reward points on your credit card.
And I like that, right?
Because I want the value of my rewards to go up, not go down every single day.
And you know what?
I like Bitcoin, but you can use up to 50 different cryptos.
So if you have like Ethereum or something, Ethereum prices are up again today.
Everything's up.
Solana, Avalanche.
XRP, they're all doing better today.
Bitcoin up 2.6% as they speak at 119,693.

Someone actually even emailed me about it.
So I know you guys are paying attention.
It's kind of just a very innovative way to think about all of this.
I want to get back to the Epstein story here because we've got some more.
bad news that Ghislaine got, but her family's coming out swinging and fighting and they actually want to take this thing up in court in a bigger way.
So this is the news.
This camera is going to kill me.
We're going to probably have to have a shorter show today.
Because we're going to have to get the team in to look at this one.
Because is it me or am I out of focus?
I'm out of focus, right?
Come on.
Camera, camera, camera.
It takes it a minute every single time we change the shot.
I don't know what's going on.
But bear with me.
Just listen for a second.
We're going to go back to old-fashioned audio podcast style.
Okay, so Ghislaine Maxwell's family is breaking the silence with this bombshell claim after Donald Trump said he was closing the Epstein case.
So they're all upset.
Here she is pacing outside prison.
And then if you go over to here, you know, D. John Sauer, who had been sort of postponing whether or not they were going to allow for her to appeal this case, finally came out yesterday and said no go.
And so now her family is getting all upset.
And they are coming forward here with this one.
Let me show you.
According to the family statement, Maxwell is prepared to write a writ of habeas corpus, which would allow for her to challenge her imprisonment.
This challenge would be based on new evidence such as government misconduct that would have likely changed the trial's outcome.
That's what she believes that maybe it could have changed the trial's outcome.
What do you guys think of this story?
I mean, like, on the one hand, right?
Finally, there's the camera.
It's like you can wait and see what's happening with the camera today.
What do you guys think of this story?
I mean, really, I mean, my first instinct is just like, oh gosh, we're not going to learn anything because I think this is a big, giant intelligence op.
Sorry.
I don't really have anything other than gut instinct, but my gut instincts tend to be quite good, dare I say.
I do have one source that was close to him, his doctor actually, that is really troubled by the alleged suicide because he really thinks that Epstein was not in the frame of mind of somebody who would do that.
And he was talking about getting out.
He kind of, I think, wanted to pursue this.
Line of legal thinking that his ex-girlfriend is trying to pursue right now because Alex Acosta, who was the attorney general in Florida, that put him in that sort of prison.
Like it was not any kind of real prison deal.
He got off with a sweetheart deal in Florida.
Well, part of what was written in to that agreement was that he could never be prosecuted, nor could his co-conspirators be prosecutors again, be prosecuted again, and so the fact that Maxwell's being prosecuted again She was trying to say, okay, well, there's like a loophole in the law, like this doesn't make sense.
It's being enforced in this jurisdiction, but not in this jurisdiction.
So that was one argument.
But the other argument now that she's using, and this is her threatening to reveal the list, I guess, is that there's new evidence of government misconduct.
So what is that?
I'll tell you, Mike Johnson is actually willing to hear her out.
He spoke with my friend Benny yesterday, and I want to play this for you.
And hopefully my camera comes back into focus when we're done.
This is a new game.
It'll be fixed.
It'll be fixed.
That's what we're going to do as soon as we end this show.
But anyway, listen to Benny and Mike because Mike's up for it.
Speaker Johnson, this is sort of on the heels of something else that a lot of people are asking questions about.
And because we've been lied to by our federal government for so long, I feel like there's some type of like a pain point, right?
And a pressure cooker that gets heated up on issues like the Epstein issue, right?
And obviously, that's something that's taken over a lot of the online dialogue.
I have a question here about it that concerns either testifying or testimony for Jelaine Maxwell potentially before Congress, or if you would support members like Marjorie Taylor Greene or Anna Paulina Luna on the release of subpoena, subpoenaing the Epstein documents from the DOJ.
Whether you would support either of those, yeah.
I haven't talked to Marjorie or Anna about that specific subject, but I'm for transparency.
We're intellectually consistent in this.
We look, Reagan used to tell us we should trust the American people.
I believe in that principle.
I know President Trump does as well, and I trust him.
I mean, he put together a team of his choosing, and they're doing a great job.
It's a very delicate subject, but we should put everything out there and let the people decide it.
I mean, the White House and the White House, yeah, I'd be for that.
You know, let the people decide.
Darn camera.
Okay, I'm going to start.
Well, we're going to go and fix that right now.
But what do you guys think just before we end the show?
What do we do on this?
Should it just all come out?
Even if like the U.S. looks super bad, like are we okay with that?
I don't know if Donald Trump is okay with that.
Clearly, Pam Bondi's like, what's the holdup?
I want to know.
What is the holdup?
All right, let me know what you think.
It's great to have you here.
We will resume this live conversation again tomorrow with a camera that's in focus.
This is, you know, you guys are on the front lines, the front lines of the Trish Regan show in the making, quite literally.
