The Trish Regan Show - NO COURTS, NO DELAYS: Trump’s “Alligator Alcatraz” Aims to Cut ALL Bureaucracy Aired: 2025-07-02 Duration: 08:05 === Expediting People Out of Country (06:40) === [00:00:00] And they're looking to round everybody up and put them down in Florida into the detention center that has become known as Alligator Alcatraz. [00:00:08] It's quite a name. [00:00:12] The president was talking about it a little bit earlier today as he began his trip down to Alligator Alcatraz and made the point that they need some kind of system to work through. [00:00:24] You get all this red tape. [00:00:26] And even though they've been proven right at even the Supreme Court level, right, in terms of the deportations that are now being allowed. [00:00:33] and the canceling of visas for people, 530 some odd thousand of them that were brought here from Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Cuba under the Biden administration. [00:00:44] They're canceling those visas, but what do you do with them at that point? [00:00:47] And that's become a bit of a challenge. [00:00:50] So Ron DeSantis is offering up some answers and a little bit less bureaucracy. [00:00:58] This is, we're offering up our National Guard and other folks in Florida to be deputized to be immigration judges. [00:01:05] We're working with the Department of Justice for the approvals. [00:01:08] I'm sure Pam will approve. [00:01:09] But then you have, I'll have a National Guard judge advocate here. [00:01:14] Someone has a notice to appear. [00:01:15] Biden would tell them to come back in three years and appear. [00:01:19] Now you'll be able to appear in like a day or two. [00:01:21] So they're not going to be detained, hopefully, for all that long. [00:01:23] We'll have people here in this facility that can make, you know, it's a bureaucracy. [00:01:28] A president's got to deal with the bureaucracy. [00:01:30] Now, that Supreme Court ruling was good because that's going to allow him to be able to exercise Article II the way founders intended. [00:01:35] But you still have bureaucracy. [00:01:37] So, we want to cut through that so that we have an efficient operation between Florida and DHS to get the removal of these illegals done. [00:01:46] Boom. [00:01:46] All right. [00:01:48] So, they mean business. [00:01:49] And, you know, alligators are quite an image, let me just say. [00:01:55] You know, as someone who grew up in the Northeast, I have a special fear for those things. [00:01:59] So, that takes on a whole new meaning. [00:02:01] But the point being that they want to be able to expedite some of these people out of the country. [00:02:06] And in terms of some of the national security. concerns, etc. [00:02:09] Their hope is that they'll be able to do this in a more efficient kind of fashion. [00:02:15] So what does AOC do with all of this? [00:02:19] Well, she's trying to twist it into somehow that the GOP is totally anti-immigrant. [00:02:23] Here's my newsflash for her. [00:02:25] You know what? [00:02:25] They're not anti-immigrant. [00:02:27] The party's not anti-immigrant. [00:02:28] The party is pro-legal immigration. [00:02:31] So that means some kind of system has to be developed so that you know who the heck is in the country. [00:02:36] Don't try and tar and feather them with this whole idea that they're completely anti-immigrant. [00:02:39] I think that's insanely unfair. [00:02:42] But you guys have gone the opposite direction. [00:02:44] We're all about open borders, are you not? [00:02:46] About how this is about illegal versus legal immigration. [00:02:50] They are attacking legal status and removing legal status. [00:02:55] The Republican majority is anti-legal immigration in the United States. [00:02:59] I want to make that very clear and I yield back. [00:03:02] Woo! [00:03:03] Okay. [00:03:03] You've got to ask yourself, like, why is all this happening right now? [00:03:08] I mean, I know it's Trump and everything, right? [00:03:09] We know that Trump, ever since he went down the escalator and said, you know, there's people that we. [00:03:14] Shouldn't have in this country, here in this country, he has become a lightning rod for this, and so they want to go after him. [00:03:20] And in going after him, they go after this issue, but they kind of make themselves look foolish in the process. [00:03:25] I mean Jasmine Crockett. [00:03:27] You need look no further than the representative from Texas, one Jasmine Crockett, making some lousy remarks trying to sell her constituency on why you need open borders. [00:03:38] So I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants. [00:03:47] Right right, The fact is, ain't none of y'all trying to? [00:03:51] Okay, so I'm lying. [00:03:51] Raise your hands. [00:03:51] You're not. [00:03:51] You're not. [00:03:51] We're done picking cotton. [00:03:51] We are. [00:03:51] You can't pay us enough to find a plantation. [00:04:12] Wow. [00:04:15] So, quite a way to phrase it. [00:04:18] Yeah, it's quite a sales pitch. [00:04:21] Hmm? [00:04:22] But you again need to ask why is this all happening right now? [00:04:26] Why has the left gotten so extreme? [00:04:29] Why are they trying to argue for open borders? [00:04:32] And it brings you back to this article earlier in the year. [00:04:36] New York moves to allow 800,000 non-citizens to vote in local elections. [00:04:42] New York City will become the largest municipality in the country to allow legal residents to vote if the election is approved as expected in December. [00:04:51] Okay, so that's a pretty fascinating headline. [00:04:53] And for everybody who's like, oh, no, there's no way that would actually happen. [00:04:58] Well, I mean, they were trying. [00:04:59] If the appellate court hadn't struck it down, you would have had 800,000 non-citizens who were quote unquote legally here, right? [00:05:05] Just think about the 533, 532,000 that Biden imported from the likes of Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba, and Venezuela. [00:05:14] Mm-hmm. [00:05:15] Think about that. [00:05:16] Okay. [00:05:16] So I guess you sort of legally are here because you've been given this pass, which by the way, Donald Trump just took away. [00:05:23] And suddenly, You're voting in elections. [00:05:26] You wonder how this works, right? [00:05:28] It's just math at the end of the day, unfortunately. [00:05:31] Unfortunately, but by the way, this is a big part of why Donald Trump won. [00:05:35] Don't kid yourself, Dems. [00:05:37] People aren't really into this. [00:05:38] And let me go back to what the actual rules are. [00:05:40] The actual rules are in terms of asylum, etc. [00:05:43] And we got real rules on the book. [00:05:45] 8 U.S.C. 1158 aligns with the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 Protocol. [00:05:52] To qualify for asylum, the applicant must prove two things. [00:05:56] Two things okay. [00:05:57] One, persecution of well-founded fear of persecution. [00:06:01] Must have suffered persecution or have had a genuine and responsible fear future persecution and and be with protected grounds. [00:06:11] So you're going to meet both of these criteria. [00:06:13] So one, you have to be fearful right of your life and the situation there, but it can't just be because it's a a terrible place I mean, there's plenty of terrible places out there. [00:06:21] It can't be. [00:06:22] It actually has to be on these protected grounds, one race, two, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. [00:06:32] So this is pretty narrowly defined. [00:06:35] And yet they wanted to change it into something entirely different. [00:06:38] Why you ask why? === Fighting the Oligarchy Tour (01:25) === [00:06:40] And look, I got to, you know, I hate to be so critical, shall we say. [00:06:48] But you had 800,000 people that had a shot at voting in local elections that were not actually citizens of the United States. [00:06:56] Like, what the heck is that about? [00:06:58] And it's all being orchestrated by the same people who are on the fight the oligarchy tour. [00:07:03] Fight the oligarchy tour. [00:07:05] In other words, they want handouts for everybody. [00:07:07] They want open borders and they want them to have everything that they could possibly want and need. [00:07:11] I'm thinking about the commie that wants to come into New York as mayor. [00:07:14] And then they have the audacity to get out there and ride around on a private jet. [00:07:19] Here is AOC with her fight the oligarchy tour. [00:07:30] What do you know? [00:07:31] Stepping out of none other than a private plane. [00:07:35] Like, it's amazing how that happens. [00:07:37] You're out there, you know, fighting the oligarchy. [00:07:42] By the way, she's getting caught in a total lie. [00:07:44] We talked about this yesterday because she apparently likes to say that she's a girl from the Bronx, but turns out she's kind of from a Tony suburb, very different place. [00:07:53] Wow. [00:07:54] Okay. [00:07:55] Whatever. [00:07:56] You know where this is going, okay? [00:07:57] So they want to let them eat cake. [00:08:00] Bring them all in. [00:08:01] We're going to give them something. [00:08:02] We're going to control the money. [00:08:03] We're going to control the power.
