The Trish Regan Show - BREAKING: AOC Caught in Fresh LIE! She’s Making Up Her Entire Bronx Childhood | FULL LIVE EPISODE Aired: 2025-06-30 Duration: 38:09 === Sandy Cortez vs The Oligarchy (14:52) === [00:00:01] Sandy Cortez is getting a little touchy, don't you think? [00:00:04] AOC having to respond after everybody called out her background. [00:00:10] Yeah, it turns out she's not really quite the girl from the Bronx that she wants you to think she is. [00:00:16] And we've got that story today. [00:00:18] Sandy fighting back, along with Hillary Clinton wanting to do something to clamp down on the First Amendment. [00:00:25] I mean, she's kind of teaming up with Sandy on this one, right? [00:00:28] Because AOC has said, we got to stop all this misinformation, disinformation, whatever. [00:00:33] She doesn't, like you understand, is misinformation, disinformation. [00:00:36] Now Hillary wants to put you in prison. [00:00:38] Oh yeah, like my goodness, it's a good thing. [00:00:43] Donald Trump got all those Supreme Court picks in right but uh, you know, Biden didn't get one. [00:00:48] She doesn't seem to be the brightest and this is epic because Amy Cony Barrett is calling her out for her hot takes because, you know, when you're a Supreme Court justice, you can't just have the hot takes. [00:01:00] You got to have legal reasons to back them up, of which she had none, and the justices are kind of tired of it. [00:01:09] Wow, we got a big show for you. [00:01:11] I am back at home base. [00:01:12] Good to have you here. [00:01:13] Everyone, i'm Trish Regan. [00:01:14] This is the Trish Regan show. [00:01:16] Make sure that you subscribe, make sure that you share, make sure you like, do all that good stuff. [00:01:20] We are climbing, we're in the top 100 and, by the way, I think there's a good shot, I don't know this summer, maybe that we get to a million subs. [00:01:28] It's amazing. [00:01:30] So thank you for all that you do. [00:01:32] Turning to today's top story, Sandy Cortez. [00:01:35] Sandy Cortez getting called out, breaking her silence on those suburban upbringings. [00:01:40] You see, because she wants you to think she's just a simple girl from the Bronx, not even Queens, right? [00:01:46] She does represent Queens and part of the Bronx, and she's a Bronx girl. [00:01:49] The reason this came about or came to a head, I should say, is because Donald Trump called her out most recently. [00:01:58] Remember in this really epic post, I was like, wow, this may be one of his best. [00:02:03] I mean, he just let her have it. [00:02:04] This is when he called her stupid. [00:02:07] Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the, quote, dumbest people in Congress, he wrote, is now calling for my impeachment. [00:02:14] This was after the successful strike on Iran. [00:02:18] Quote, despite the fact that the crooked and corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before, the reason for her, quote, rantings is all the victories that the USA has had under the Trump administration. [00:02:30] The Democrats aren't used to winning, he writes, and she can't stand the concept of our country being successful again. [00:02:37] When we examine her test scores, we will find out that she is not qualified for office. [00:02:44] I think there's something to say. [00:02:45] Although she's probably smarter than that Jasmine Crockett. [00:02:47] Yeah. [00:02:47] Well, you know, it's a low bar. [00:02:50] That's not hard to do. [00:02:54] So she decided she was going to fire off about this one. [00:02:58] And she decided to write something. [00:03:00] Oh, let's see if we can find the first little thing that she wrote. [00:03:03] Do I have it here? [00:03:04] I think I do. [00:03:05] Oh, yeah. [00:03:05] Here we go. [00:03:06] Mr. President, don't take your anger out on me. [00:03:08] I'm just a silly girl. [00:03:10] Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war. [00:03:20] Now, of course, there's plenty of precedent for what he did. [00:03:22] And you just look at the markets, you look at oil prices and what are you going to find? [00:03:26] Everybody is celebrating what went down there. [00:03:30] So, you know, she's the cranky one who's off in the corner by herself going on and on and on saying, now after he wrote that, also, quote, I'm a Bronx girl. [00:03:39] you should know that we eat Queens boys for breakfast, respectfully. [00:03:46] So, you know, the internet had a little bit of fun with that because it turns out she's not really a Bronx girl. [00:03:51] You know, she's not growing up in the projects in the Bronx far from it. [00:03:56] Apparently she grew up in Westchester. [00:03:58] So, you know, Westchester, Tony Westchester County, not the Bronx. [00:04:04] And she grew up in a nice middle class house in, I guess, the York Yonkers community. [00:04:11] Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the New York Post writes, finally spoke out about her suburban high school yearbook photo. [00:04:20] We're going to get to that in a second, but won't admit that she grew up in the suburbs. [00:04:25] Oh, wow. [00:04:26] Okay, so what'd you get against the suburbs, by the way? [00:04:30] I guess, you know, it doesn't really fly when you're running in Bronx and the Queens. [00:04:34] You got to seem like you're a man or a woman of the people. [00:04:36] So here is her high school yearbook, guys. [00:04:40] So she was Sandy back then, Sandy Cortez. [00:04:44] And she graduated from Yorktown, Yorktown High School in 2007. [00:04:51] It's a suburban town in Yorktown Heights, forgive me, Yorktown Heights in Westchester County. [00:04:58] And her competitor there is an assemblyman named Matt Slater is calling her out saying, you know, this is just embarrassing. [00:05:04] She's embarrassing herself for doing everything possible to avoid saying that she grew up in the suburbs instead of the Bronx. [00:05:14] Okay, so this is, she got to the point where she actually decided she was going to have to say something. [00:05:19] Take a look. [00:05:22] This is her house. [00:05:24] This is her house that she grew up in. [00:05:26] Nice middle class existence. [00:05:27] I mean, this is not the projects in the Bronx, okay? [00:05:30] This is not exactly the inner city. [00:05:32] This is Yorktown Heights. [00:05:34] And, you know, there's a big difference between growing up in the suburbs, let's just say, okay, in fairness, like a big difference in terms of the school, et cetera, than at crime levels than growing up in the inner city. [00:05:46] But she wants us all, for some reason, to think that she grew up in the inner city. [00:05:50] I guess it's really important to her to rewrite her story. [00:05:54] So, you know, people are trading this one online and they're making it really clear that she is not quite what she says she is, not quite what she says she is. [00:06:05] So she's all upset and offended as only Sandy could possibly be, right? [00:06:10] Sandy's all upset and offended. [00:06:12] And so now she's out on Twitter and she's firing back. [00:06:15] And I got to show you this, guys, because it's It's just, it's really sort of, you know, it's comical, but it's not because this woman is a member of Congress and this woman is being talked about as a potential contender, potential contender for none other than the president of the United States. [00:06:31] In all seriousness, I know we think that that's really weird, but that's actually where she could be heading. [00:06:37] So she wrote after somebody on Twitter pointed all this out. [00:06:43] She fired back with, here we go. [00:06:45] I am proud of how I grew up and talk about it all the time. [00:06:50] My mom's clean houses and I helped. [00:06:53] We cleaned tutors' homes in exchange for SAT prep. [00:06:57] Growing up between the Bronx and Yorktown deeply shaped my views of inequality, and it's a big reason I believe the things I do today. [00:07:06] So again, she's really stuck on the Bronx. [00:07:09] Yorktown's different than the Bronx, but she's really stuck on that because apparently she lived there until she was five years old. [00:07:17] So, you know, that makes her a Bronx girl. [00:07:20] She was responding to this Twitter account that's kind of funny. [00:07:24] I'm going to share this one with you guys because you should see him. [00:07:28] His name is Paul something and it goes by Bubble Bath Girl. [00:07:32] He was the one that initially wrote this and so she responded to him and he responded again saying you're a pathological liar and a disgrace to America. [00:07:40] You have illegals working on your congressional staff. [00:07:42] You've repeatedly used federal dollars for personal expenses. [00:07:46] I do believe that's the dance lessons. [00:07:48] Remember we talked about that? [00:07:50] The dance lessons. [00:07:53] Uh, you're going to jail aoc, you'd better hire a good lawyer. [00:07:56] Make sure you pay for the lawyer yourself. [00:07:59] Okay well, she probably shouldn't have fired back to this particular twitter account because this twitter account really really, really hates her. [00:08:07] But it's comical, kind of, to see the back and forth and the exchange. [00:08:12] Um, she went on, okay, she's not done, she's not done, she's not done. [00:08:16] So we got to get to her next response. [00:08:18] She said, about you know the, the cleaning the houses for the sat stuff. [00:08:23] She wrote, I tell this story on the Fight The Oligarchy tour. [00:08:30] When my dad died during the financial crisis, my mom almost got foreclosed on. [00:08:36] Okay, the nice little house. [00:08:37] Almost got foreclosed on, she said. [00:08:40] And so this is a big part of what she says with the oligarchy whatever tour. [00:08:45] GOP always thinks this is some kind of gotcha, but I ran my whole campaign for Congress with this motto. [00:08:51] Your zip code shouldn't be determining your destiny. [00:08:55] But again. [00:08:57] It's Yorktown. [00:08:58] It's not the park. [00:08:59] I mean, I hate to have to like nitpick, but there is a difference. [00:09:05] And you know, when she goes on about how she tells the story on the oligarchy tour, for goodness sakes, give me a break. [00:09:12] This is the oligarchy tour that she's doing with Bernie Sanders. [00:09:17] They're going to fight the oligarchy in none other than their private pet. [00:09:38] Plane here to fight the oligarchy. [00:09:42] Sandy wants to make sure she has a private jet to fight the oligarchy. [00:09:49] By the way, be careful. [00:09:51] Like, she's super touchy about the private jet. [00:09:55] If you ask her about it, she's like, Oh, never mind. [00:09:59] She's not really touching. [00:10:01] He's like, How dare you? [00:10:04] How dare you? [00:10:04] I need my private jet. [00:10:06] I got to get around and fight the oligarchy. [00:10:08] Okay. [00:10:09] So, you know, she's out there fighting the oligarchy, trying to pretend. [00:10:13] She's someone she's not. [00:10:14] I think everybody would have a whole lot more respect for her if she would just admit, okay, you know what? [00:10:20] I was lucky enough to move to the suburbs when I was five. [00:10:25] But if I hadn't been able to get to the suburbs, maybe I wouldn't have had the same opportunities in life. [00:10:30] And therefore, that's why we need to go and fight for these kids in the Bronx. [00:10:34] But she just wants to lie and pretend she's something else because, you know, that's her M.O. That's her M.O. [00:10:40] And by the way, don't come after her or her peeps, right? [00:10:44] Does that mean LaMonica is safe, remember? [00:10:48] If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress, it's the Department of Homeland Security. [00:10:55] It's people like Tom Homan and Secretary Christy None. [00:10:59] You lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem. [00:11:06] Oh boy. [00:11:07] Well, LaMonica might actually be facing 17 years in prison. [00:11:10] I don't really see AOC quite rallying to her defense. [00:11:15] Sandy, where are you when we need you? [00:11:18] Cute high school picture, don't you think? [00:11:20] From the high school you work. [00:11:22] Your book, courtesy of the New York Post, who tracked that one down. [00:11:25] Here's the problem with one AOC. [00:11:28] Not only is she lying about her background, she actually wants to basically shut down the First Amendment alongside Hillary Clinton. [00:11:36] We've got new sound of Hillary Clinton saying the exact same thing as AOC, you guys. [00:11:41] AOC, I played this for you last week, is demanding some kind of censorship, and now she's got Hillary backing it. [00:11:47] Oh, well, and I guess along with Rachel Maddow, because Hillary was on Rachel Maddow's show. [00:11:51] You see, if it's not the way they want it, they're not okay with it. [00:11:54] Here's AOC, and then we'll go to Hillary. [00:11:57] You know, I do think that several members of Congress in some of my discussions have brought up media literacy because that is a part of what happened here. [00:12:09] And we're going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so that you can't just. [00:12:22] Spew disinformation and misinformation. [00:12:25] It's one thing to have differing opinions, but it's another thing entirely to just say things that are false. [00:12:35] And so that's something that we're looking into. [00:12:39] You're looking into it. [00:12:41] You're looking into it really hard alongside, oh, I don't know, Hillary Clinton. [00:12:45] Apparently, she thinks this is really important too. [00:12:47] For some reason, nobody seems to care about that little tiny thing called the First Amendment. [00:12:52] I don't know why, but Hillary, come on. [00:12:55] AOC, come on. [00:12:56] Hillary, at least you went to law school. [00:12:58] You know, AOC, we can just say she's not that bright, a la what Trump said. [00:13:02] But you did go to law school, didn't you? [00:13:05] And boosting Trump back in 2016. [00:13:08] But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda. [00:13:15] And whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence because. [00:13:31] Criminally? [00:13:32] Did I hear that right? [00:13:34] Criminally charged. [00:13:36] I think I did, but you know what? [00:13:38] My printer started going off in the background. [00:13:40] I don't know if you can hear it, so I actually want to hear it again. [00:13:43] And boosting Trump back in 2016. [00:13:46] But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda. [00:13:53] And whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence because. [00:14:05] Criminally charged. [00:14:05] She did say it. [00:14:07] I think they should be criminally charged, she's saying. [00:14:10] I mean, I'm just sitting here going, I really like, I cannot believe the lack of respect people have for something kind of basic. [00:14:21] And it's called the First Amendment. [00:14:22] And I'm just going to read it because you know what? [00:14:24] We need a little civics in the world right about now, don't you think? [00:14:28] I mean, like nobody understands the Constitution. [00:14:31] You got a Supreme Court justice there who doesn't even, she just does a hot take and doesn't. [00:14:35] even cite any kind of law or any kind of precedent. [00:14:38] You got Amy Coney Barrett having to call her out. [00:14:41] For some reason, none of this matters to people. [00:14:43] You know why? [00:14:43] They want to tear it down. [00:14:44] They want to get rid of the whole thing. [00:14:45] They want to just tear it up so that they can get their viewpoint, their socialist, communist, God knows what viewpoint on all of us. === Barrett Ignoring Legal Precedent (08:49) === [00:14:53] But I'm going to read it. [00:14:56] Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press. [00:15:08] or of the right of the people to peacefully to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. [00:15:16] Do you hear that part? [00:15:18] Or abridging the freedom of speech. [00:15:20] For goodness sakes, it's the first thing in the whole darn Constitution, the First Amendment, and Hillary wants to just take it away. [00:15:28] We're going to send you to jail if you have a different opinion. [00:15:33] If you support Trump, I'm sorry, Hillary, it's over, okay? [00:15:37] Has sailed. [00:15:38] And guess who else needs to know that one? [00:15:42] Letitia James. [00:15:44] Letitia James, who was out making the rounds over the weekend teaming up with the new socialist guy, you know him, ma'am Dami, who's trying to become the next mayor of New York, and you know what the two of them were having quite a time. [00:15:59] Let me see if I can show you that video, because it was like party in New York at the Pride Parade, Party City between ma'am Dami, who's um Quite a little hipster jumping around the streets, and one, Letitia Jane. [00:16:29] Wow. [00:16:30] Do you see Leticia? [00:16:32] There she is looking really proud and really happy next to the guy that she hopes will be the next mayor of New York because maybe he'll give her some money to help fight her legal challenges. [00:16:43] You know, that whole alleged mortgage fraud situation that still is not out of the way. [00:16:50] But this is Leticia James. [00:16:53] This is the possible next mayor of New York. [00:16:56] I happen to think that he's going to have a hard time. [00:16:59] Unc Andy, good to see you in the chat. [00:17:01] Thank you so much for the generosity. [00:17:03] I really, I think she's going to lose because she's not playing so well in the rest of the state. [00:17:08] And he is actually going to face quite a problem as well because, you know what, I think everybody's kind of had this come to Jesus moment where they're recognizing that New York could go in a really, really, really bad way. [00:17:23] Meanwhile, you know, as we talk about the First Amendment, the importance of the First Amendment and Hillary's total disregard for it and AOC's total disregard for it and Letitia's total disregard for it, she's getting called out. [00:17:35] Letitia's getting called out by Elon Musk, who is now challenging her in court. [00:17:39] And I've got news for you. [00:17:41] He already won this round in California because there is that little thing called the First Amendment. [00:17:48] And you see, California wanted to be able to restrict what you could say on X, and they wanted to have X have to report everything to the California system, the AG, who would determine whether or not things were okay or not okay. [00:18:04] And Elon's like, excuse me? [00:18:06] So Letitia thought she'd take it up too because, you know, why not? [00:18:10] Why not utilize a few more taxpayer dollars on a case that's going to go nowhere, literally nowhere? [00:18:15] Because again, the First Amendment's kind of blocking things, guys. [00:18:18] I realize it's a problem. [00:18:20] But yeah. [00:18:21] Anyway, so Letitia James is now trying to demand that X basically tell her every quarter what it's deeming to be misinformation, disinformation, et cetera. [00:18:34] And Elon's like, no, sorry, we already did this in the state of California. [00:18:39] We're not going to do it again with you. [00:18:40] So he is now suing Letitia. [00:18:43] And New York, and I tell you right here, right now, he's gonna win. [00:18:47] Okay, when? [00:18:48] When have I ever steered you wrong, honestly? [00:18:50] I also told you he was gonna get Twitter, whether he wanted it or not. [00:18:54] Right, because the Delaware court wasn't gonna turn that one around turned out to be a good goodbye when it was uh, trading down so much because people thought the deal wouldn't go through. [00:19:01] That went through and i'm gonna tell you right now, he's going to win against the state of New York and Letitia's gonna have egg on her face all over again, as she should. [00:19:13] She really oughta, you know. [00:19:15] Just keep dancing in the streets, because this is going to be short-lived, short-lived stuff. [00:19:21] Meanwhile, you know, as you think about all of this and you think about Who is like right or wrong. [00:19:31] We don't know, right? [00:19:32] The truth is a very difficult thing in some ways to get to the bottom of. [00:19:38] But in the case of what happened with Iran, I'm just going to tell you this. [00:19:42] I don't think the markets would be flying the way they're flying. [00:19:45] I don't think oil would be trading down the way it's been trading down if people actually thought that this was not a successful strike. [00:19:53] And yet you have CNN and New York Times trying to say something kind of different. [00:19:58] Here's Donald Trump speaking with Maria Bartiromo about the issue. [00:20:02] I want to play this for you now. [00:20:04] Do you think that the Iran regime hid some of the enriched uranium before the strikes? [00:20:11] No. [00:20:11] You mean did they take it out of the deep one? [00:20:14] No. [00:20:14] Because you were pretty clear you can't have a weapon. [00:20:17] You're going to have to come to the talk. [00:20:18] Something's going to happen. [00:20:19] I don't think that, no. [00:20:20] I think, first of all, it's very hard to do. [00:20:22] It's very dangerous to do. [00:20:23] It's very heavy, very, very heavy. [00:20:25] It's a very hard thing to do. [00:20:27] Plus, we didn't give much notice because. [00:20:29] They didn't know we were coming until just then, and nobody thought we'd go after that site because everybody said that site is impenetrable. [00:20:37] Because I saw reports that there were 400 kilograms, 800 pounds that they moved, but I wonder if it's traceable. [00:20:45] I mean, if they were to have moved themselves, they didn't move anything. [00:20:48] You know what they moved themselves? [00:20:50] They were all trying to live, they didn't move anything. [00:20:55] You know, one of the things that came out of that interview as well is that Donald Trump is saying, look, he could require the New York Times and CNN. to divulge their sources. [00:21:04] I bring this up because it's relevant to Hillary Clinton, right? [00:21:07] And to AOC saying, we want to get rid of the First Amendment. [00:21:10] We want to put people in jail. [00:21:11] If you say something that's misinformation, disinformation. [00:21:14] So the flip side of that, because it goes both ways, right? [00:21:17] Is it could actually hurt them as well. [00:21:19] Now, in this particular case, Donald Trump is not saying, I'm going to put CNN in jail. [00:21:23] I'm not going to put New York Times in jail. [00:21:25] However, he may require them to divulge their sources. [00:21:29] And in doing so, the source itself could wind up being in jail. [00:21:35] Why? [00:21:35] Because you can't actually go and leak classified information to the press. [00:21:41] And so you can still have the freedom of the press. [00:21:43] People can still have their opinions, but you can't take classified information, spin it however you want to spin it, and take that one out. [00:21:50] He's sick and tired of it. [00:21:51] Furious the other day there at NATO. [00:21:53] This was an unbelievable hit by genius pilots and genius people in the military. [00:21:59] And they're not being given credit for it because we have scum that's in this group. [00:22:04] And not all of you are. [00:22:05] You have some great reporters, but you have scum. [00:22:08] CNN is scum. [00:22:10] MSDNC is scum. [00:22:12] The New York Times is scum. [00:22:14] They're bad people. [00:22:15] They're sick. [00:22:16] And what they've done is they're trying to make this unbelievable victory into something less. [00:22:21] Now, even they admit that it was hit very hard. [00:22:24] Okay? [00:22:25] But it wasn't hit hard. [00:22:27] It was hit brutally. [00:22:28] And it knocked it out. [00:22:29] The original word that I use, I guess it got us in trouble because it's a strong word. [00:22:34] It was obliteration. [00:22:37] So he's making it very clear that this was as successful as we could have wanted it to be. [00:22:44] So you've got to ask yourself, why was somebody else selling something different? [00:22:49] I mean, everybody has a point of view, right? [00:22:50] It's one of the first things I say to myself as a reporter from all sides. [00:22:53] Like, why is somebody doing this particular thing? [00:22:56] Why do they want this particular narrative out there? [00:22:59] And you should ask yourself the question of maybe they want to get us into a bigger conflict. [00:23:04] Right. [00:23:04] Maybe that's the goal, who knows? [00:23:06] Or maybe they just want to make Donald Trump look bad, or maybe, dare I say, they want both. [00:23:12] You have to think it through. [00:23:13] You know, Rubio did a great job at NATO trying to explain this to a room full of reporters who should know better right, but are just too darn lazy. [00:23:21] They just take whatever they're being spoon fed and they have their own biases that are already baked in. [00:23:25] Here's Rubio trying to explain, everybody's got an agenda and it's really important you guys be able to see through that stuff about the intelligence, this is what a leaker is telling you. [00:23:35] The intelligence says that's the game these people play. [00:23:37] They read it And then they go out and characterize it the way they want it characterized, and they're leakers. [00:23:41] This is the game they play. === Hidden Agendas Behind Risks (03:27) === [00:23:43] So that's number one. [00:23:44] Number two, here's a fact. [00:23:45] The conversion facility, which you can't do a nuclear weapon without a conversion facility. [00:23:49] We can't even find where it is, where it used to be on the map. [00:23:53] You can't even find where it used to be because the whole thing is just blackened out. [00:23:55] It's gone. [00:23:56] It's wiped out. [00:23:57] It's wiped out. [00:23:57] Then we drop 12 of the strongest bombs on the planet right down the hole in two places. [00:24:03] Everything underneath that mountain is in bad shape. [00:24:05] And I refer you to the statement of the IAEA, Mr. Grossi. [00:24:09] You know what he said? [00:24:09] He said there was Iran the way it looked the day before the attack and what their nuclear program looks like now. [00:24:15] Two very different things. [00:24:16] They are way behind where they were just seven days ago. [00:24:19] Now, anything in the world can be rebuilt, but now we know where it is. [00:24:23] And if they try to rebuild it, we'll have options there as well. [00:24:25] But all this leakers stuff, these leakers are professional stabbers. [00:24:29] That's what they are. [00:24:30] They go out and they read this stuff and then they tell you what it says against the law, but they characterize it for you in a way that's absolutely false. [00:24:39] There's no way Iran comes to the table if somehow nothing had happened. [00:24:42] This was complete and total. [00:24:43] obliteration, they're in bad shape. [00:24:45] They are way behind today compared to where they were just seven days ago because of what the president did. [00:24:49] Yeah. [00:24:50] Again, you don't have to take my word for it. [00:24:55] You don't even have to take the official reports or the CIA's word for it. [00:24:59] Just look at the markets, which have been on fire, which, by the way, speaking of markets, we're fully independent here on The Trish Regan Show, and we're so proud of that. [00:25:07] So we thank our sponsors, including American Heart for Gold. [00:25:11] American Heart for Gold, one of our great sponsors here on the show. [00:25:14] I'm a big believer in investing in gold, and I see gold as one of those ways. [00:25:20] To hedge out any kind of risk. [00:25:21] Gold trading up again today at three thousand three hundred six dollars, an ounce gain of six tenths of a percent. [00:25:28] I told you it was trading down last week. [00:25:29] Don actually kept pointing that out in the chat. [00:25:31] Oh my gosh, gold is down. [00:25:32] Gold is down. [00:25:33] Every time it goes down I actually buy more. [00:25:35] So it's one of those long-term investments for me. [00:25:38] If you're interested in investing in gold, you should give them a ring today. [00:25:41] Call them at 1-844-495-1115. [00:25:44] You can text Trish to 655-32 today. [00:25:47] This is for your opportunity to get up to fifteen thousand dollars worth of free silver with qualifying offers. [00:25:53] You can also go to trishlovesgold.com today. [00:25:57] But gold is just one of those tremendous ways, I think, to kind of hedge out the inflation risk and you know World War III risk and all that kind of risk that you can imagine that comes into being. [00:26:07] But again, I go back to what's happening and I look at this market right now which has been on fire, Dow Jones Industrial Average up three tenths of a percent s p trading up better than tenth of a percent. [00:26:16] Same story over on the Nasdaq. [00:26:18] And you look at where we were back in april. [00:26:21] You look at where we are today and this is good. [00:26:25] Okay, this is good. [00:26:26] I think that this particular president, with his economic policy and his desire to succeed and see this country succeed, is going to be extremely beneficial for markets and for investors and the economy overall. [00:26:40] It's why I want you to take part in it. [00:26:41] Go check out my research company, 76research.com. [00:26:45] This is mine. [00:26:46] I started it with a dear friend. [00:26:48] You can use code word dollar. [00:26:50] We've got lots of ideas. [00:26:51] We had an idea recently I keep mentioning it because it was just on top of my mind because of Father's Day, but it was up 23% and it's now continued on. [00:27:00] It's amazing when you see all this tremendous upside we've seen in the markets, certainly since April, certainly since he started talking about tariffs in April. [00:27:08] You now have a couple more things going on. === Jackson's Startling Supreme Court Attack (08:46) === [00:27:10] The big, beautiful bill expected to be passed. [00:27:12] You also have the trade deal with Canada looking like that's going to happen because Canada, they backed off, right? [00:27:19] What did he say on Friday? [00:27:20] We talked about this live at the top of the show. [00:27:22] He was like, no deal, no deal, Canada. [00:27:24] Not happening because you guys want to put a tax on our tech firms. [00:27:29] And then Canada came back and is now saying, okay, we won't do it. [00:27:34] We won't do it. [00:27:35] Okay, so maybe we get a deal out of Canada too. [00:27:37] I mean, this is good stuff. [00:27:40] This is good, good, good stuff all around. [00:27:43] And so again, you know, Donald Trump saying this is a success in terms of what we saw in the strikes there on Iran. [00:27:51] As for the media reports, again, you know, you have freedom of the press, but if you're a government employee, you can't actually go out and leak this information to the press. [00:28:02] And that's a very different thing than, say, Hillary Clinton trying to cut down on anybody's opinion. [00:28:07] Hillary doesn't want you to have the opinion. [00:28:09] You're going to go to jail if you have an opinion. [00:28:11] AOC wants to do something to change the First Amendment, which seems to be in the way. [00:28:18] So frightening stuff. [00:28:20] But, you know, the First Amendment is part of the Constitution. [00:28:23] Apparently nobody, even the libs on the Supreme Court, has a ton of respect for the Constitution. [00:28:29] And we learned that on Friday. [00:28:32] So trump got this huge win in terms of basically not allowing for these rogue judges, just one random judge to come out with a nationwide injunction on something that he would be putting in as an executive order. [00:28:46] The reason this is getting a lot of play and a lot of attention, and there's one executive order in particular that a lot of people took issue with, which was his desire to end birthright citizenship. [00:28:57] And so the Supreme Court hasn't touched that yet. [00:28:59] They will get to it. [00:29:01] But they did say, you know, these judges all over the place, you can't have one federal judge just coming out with some kind of injunction. [00:29:07] that eliminates the president's ability to put in place an executive order and that was a pretty momentous win for donald trump and you saw that the court actually decided this once again on party lines. [00:29:25] You had your libs and then you had your conservatives. [00:29:28] But there was one lib in particular that got called out in this total smackdown by Amy Coney Barrett, who authored the majority opinion. [00:29:37] And she just let it all hang out. [00:29:39] I mean, I don't think we've ever seen anything quite like this before. [00:29:42] This was amazing to me. [00:29:45] Just amazing. [00:29:47] Okay. [00:29:47] So she, I'll just read it to you. [00:29:50] She said, we will not dwell on Justice Jackson's argument. [00:29:55] So. [00:29:56] Katanji Brown Jackson made an argument that actually was not even worth her tearing apart because it stunk, right? [00:30:05] Like it just sucked as an argument because it was not actually rooted in anything that had anything to do with the Constitution. [00:30:11] It was just a whole bunch of hot takes, a lot of emotion, but no substance. [00:30:16] She actually praised Sotomayor, who had a different take, obviously, than the majority, but she said at least she rooted it, right, in legalese. [00:30:24] Now, this one was just out there ignoring. actual constitutional law. [00:30:30] So she wrote, we will not dwell on Justice Jackson's argument. [00:30:35] In other words, translation, it was too stupid for us to even bother acknowledging it, which is at odds, she did say, with more than two centuries worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself. [00:30:45] I mean, this is something. [00:30:47] This is not normal. [00:30:48] You don't typically see Supreme Court justices insult each other like this, but she was clearly just done. [00:30:56] She said, we observe only this. [00:30:58] Justice Jackson decries an imperial executive while embracing an imperial judiciary. [00:31:05] In other words, she is all upset about, oh, well, this is King Trump. [00:31:09] This is the king presidency. [00:31:11] So why not have some non-elected judge be able to override one single solitary judge, one single judge be the ultimate king? [00:31:21] And so, you know, Amy's not having anything to do with that. [00:31:23] Here is Jackson. [00:31:25] Okay, so this is Katanji Brown Jackson. [00:31:29] You'll recall, I think she did like a Broadway show or something recently. [00:31:33] So, you know, she's got the song and dance going anyway. [00:31:38] It was a 63 decision. [00:31:40] And the criticism here was that she just didn't ground any of her position in any kind of legal theory, which is just weird, right? [00:31:49] Like you don't normally do that unless you just, you know, are kind of a hot mess. [00:31:53] I mean, maybe she'd be better off having like a podcast like Joy Reid, where she could be hot mess all day long. [00:31:59] But, you know, if you're a Supreme Court Justice, you're actually supposed to look at things and actually. explore these decisions and your viewpoint based on actual law. [00:32:11] I would say that this is just amazing that they're calling her out on this because that is very unlike the Supreme Court to do. [00:32:21] And it shows you how much her other justices do not respect her. [00:32:29] One of the things that she said in her hot take was, and this is Jackson, Quote, it's not difficult to predict how this all ends. [00:32:37] Eventually, executive power will become completely uncontainable and our beloved constitutional republic will be no more. [00:32:44] Quite unlike a rule of king's governing system and a rule of law regime, nearly every act of government may be challenged by an appeal to law. [00:32:51] At the very least, I lament that the majority is so caught up in the minutia of the government's self-serving finger-pointing, blah, blah, blah. [00:33:00] I mean, you understand where I'm going, right? [00:33:02] Like a lot of emotion, a lot of heat. [00:33:05] But there's actually nothing where she's pointing to something that would be of constitutional value, maybe because she didn't have anything. [00:33:14] Although I wouldn't say that because, again, Sotomayor did something rather different. [00:33:18] But this is kind of par for the course. [00:33:20] I noticed that this woman was not that bright back when they were trying to debate some of the trans issues and the medical care for kids. [00:33:28] And she somehow made this wild analogy where she compared the trans situation to not allowing interracial couples. [00:33:39] I mean, it was really sort of out there, but you should hear it. [00:33:44] Being drawn by the statute. [00:33:46] That was sort of like the starting point. [00:33:47] The question was whether it was discriminatory because it applied to both races and it wasn't necessarily invidious or whatever. [00:33:55] But as I read the statute here, excuse me, the case here, Um, you know, the court starts off by saying that Virginia is now one of 16 states which prohibit and punish marriages on the basis of racial classifications. [00:34:08] And when you look at the structure of that law, it looks in terms of incons, you know, you can't do something that is inconsistent with your own characteristics. [00:34:16] It's sort of the same thing. [00:34:17] So it's interesting to me that we now have this different argument. [00:34:20] And I wonder whether Virginia could have gotten away with what they did here by just making a classification argument the way, uh, that Tennessee is in this case. [00:34:30] Yes, I think that's exactly right. [00:34:34] I mean, at least she's trying to go back to the law. [00:34:36] We're going to give her that on that one. [00:34:39] But I'm just saying, this is unusual. [00:34:42] The other thing that was really unusual, if you read her dissent, is that typically what you would see in these situations is that a justice would say, I dissent or I respectfully, I dissent. [00:34:56] She didn't use any of that language. [00:34:59] So that suggests that she was really, really angry and she wasn't even affording her colleagues. any kind of respect whatsoever. [00:35:09] And that's kind of amazing. [00:35:10] One of the things that Barrett wrote, Amy Barrett wrote was, quote, waving away attention to the limits of judicial power as a mind-numbingly technical query. [00:35:24] She offers a vision of the judicial role that would make even the most ardent defender of judicial supremacy blush. [00:35:30] She really, she just, she also pointed out that while Sotomayor, 71 years old, was focusing on, quote, conventional legal terrain like the Judiciary Act of 1789 and our cases on equity. [00:35:43] Instead, you had Jackson out there adopting, quote, a startling line of attack that is tethered neither to these sources nor frankly to any doctrine whatsoever. [00:35:53] So what is this woman doing on the Supreme Court? === Clear Massive Wins For Deals (02:12) === [00:35:56] Oh, I got it. [00:35:57] She checked all these boxes, right? [00:35:59] Biden had to put her in. [00:36:01] You couldn't find anybody brighter, smarter. [00:36:03] She's not doing anybody any favors. [00:36:05] Let me be very, very clear on that. [00:36:08] But I will say this. [00:36:10] This was massive. [00:36:11] This was huge. [00:36:12] This is a big win for Donald Trump. [00:36:15] And even CNN had to admit it. [00:36:17] In certain very narrow circumstances. [00:36:42] So, we're going to go through this and get the details soon, but that's the gist. [00:36:45] Yeah. [00:36:46] Wow. [00:36:47] Anyway, big win. [00:36:49] And they're going to have to debate and discuss and come out with a decision at some point on birthright citizenship. [00:36:58] And I'm just saying, like things are about to change. [00:37:01] I really do. [00:37:02] I think there's a lot of change underway. [00:37:04] So good for America, right?
