The Trish Regan Show - JUST IN: Four Plead GUILTY—$550 MILLION USAID Bribery BOMBSHELL! Aired: 2025-06-21 Duration: 03:08 === USAID Money and Politico (02:42) === [00:00:00] USAID, look at that. [00:00:02] You guys, the camera going out again. [00:00:04] Hopefully, you could hear me. [00:00:04] Hopefully, the microphone didn't go. [00:00:06] Hopefully, that's good. [00:00:07] Okay, I'm going to rely on you to tell me. [00:00:09] A USAID scheme being uncovered. [00:00:11] Don't forget, like, this USAID has been a source of a whole lot of concern, right? [00:00:18] Elon Musk and Doge, they went in there and they started peeling back the layers and they started getting down to nitty gritty really fast. [00:00:25] And we learned there was all this money going to all these crazy projects, kind of pet projects. [00:00:30] You know, the DEI musical in Ireland, for example, or, you know, the trans comic book or whatever you have it. [00:00:38] I mean, just in Peru, like weird kind of stuff. [00:00:40] And you're like, is this how they employ everybody, you know, that's coming out of academia with a PhD and who knows what, right? [00:00:47] Is this where they go? [00:00:49] Is this like, you know, that I don't know. [00:00:51] I mean, it didn't really make any sense, frankly, at all. [00:00:55] You know, I get it. [00:00:58] They want to advance the US agenda, but when did the US agenda become all that? [00:01:02] People are saying, hmm. [00:01:03] And there's been this backlash against it. [00:01:05] And in an environment where we can't afford a whole lot, we get news that Social Security is on the brink and it's going to go belly up faster than we ever thought. [00:01:14] And you're trying to deal with healthcare costs and rising inflation, this, that, and the other. [00:01:19] Do we really have money to be focused on all of these weird projects all over the world? [00:01:25] And the short answer is no. [00:01:27] Anyway, one of the concerns in all of this was just exactly what the kickbacks were like who was getting what. [00:01:33] It certainly was a question on the media front when we saw, for example, that Politico was getting millions of dollars and it was all tied to their Politico subscriptions that you get like a Bloomberg subscription, right? [00:01:50] I get it on Wall Street, you kind of need it for trading. [00:01:53] People have like a Bloomberg terminal. [00:01:55] Well, here you need like a Politico terminal? [00:01:58] I don't think so, but they were getting all this money. [00:01:59] And if you looked, it actually coincided with the election. [00:02:04] Don't forget, Politico was actually the group that they put the letter, right? [00:02:07] For the 51X spooks, we were just talking about that who believes what is misinformation or disinformation. [00:02:12] They kind of had them on speed dial. [00:02:14] And then they had some of these other organizations, like Reuters, for example. [00:02:18] They were getting a lot of USAID money. [00:02:20] All these organizations, New York Times was getting USAID money. [00:02:23] And then you wonder why everybody spots the same darn narrative over and over again. [00:02:28] We're not getting any USAID money here on the Trish Regan Show. [00:02:30] No, right? [00:02:32] Fully independent. [00:02:33] But you got to say to yourself, is this why they all sing a Chorus all the time. [00:02:38] And I think the short answer to that is yes. [00:02:40] And so we're learning more and more by the day. === Media Organizations on Speed Dial (00:25) === [00:02:42] Now, this breaking story just coming to us four people have pleaded guilty in this USAID scheme, which sounds quite colorful involving country clubs and sports tickets. [00:02:54] What do you know? [00:02:55] Okay, let's listen. [00:02:56] Here's a Fox report on it that just came forward. [00:02:59] Well, four people are pleading guilty, all part of a half billion dollar bribery scandal involving USAID. [00:03:05] Mike Emanuel has the story from Washington.
