The Trish Regan Show - NEW VIDEO: Letitia James LOSES IT on Camera— WATCH Her SNAP Over Impending Indictment! Aired: 2025-06-12 Duration: 03:10 === Attorney Defies Mortgage Fraud (03:10) === [00:00:00] If you look at this soundbite of her from the other day, I think we haven't seen this before. [00:00:05] She's really losing it. [00:00:08] And you want me to sit in my seat and stand idly by and allow this craziness to happen? [00:00:15] You could come after me if you want. [00:00:18] But you elected me to stand up. [00:00:20] You elected me to use the law. [00:00:24] You elected me to go to court. [00:00:25] You elected me to continue to challenge this administration. [00:00:29] You elected me to stand up for the least of God's children. [00:00:33] You elected me to continue fighting on and I will fight on. [00:00:40] Okay. [00:00:41] Fight on from prison? [00:00:42] I don't know. [00:00:43] I mean, this is what she's facing, right? [00:00:44] She's got the mortgage fraud allegations that she's up against. [00:00:48] And apparently, according to the FHA, she was lying on her application. [00:00:55] This is like actually very serious because theoretically, you could face up to 30 years in prison. [00:00:58] I don't actually think she'd face that if she's convicted. [00:01:01] I think that they'll go easy on her. [00:01:03] But the point is, she's facing this. [00:01:04] Okay, this is like a big deal, 18 Usc 10 10, 14 false statements to obtain a federally insured loan. [00:01:10] 18 Usa 1001 false statements to the government. [00:01:14] Um we, we've seen people get in real trouble for this, and her own words are coming back to haunt her, if you would because, as this indictment moves forward, as voters shift the other way, she's out there with her own words effectively being thrown back in her face. [00:01:30] Alina Haba did that the other day. [00:01:32] I think Pam Bondy did as well. [00:01:33] Here's her quote, okay, when she got the verdict against Donald Trump from the judge, who was willing to, like, he actually increased whatever she wanted, call it $300 million. [00:01:43] He's like, no, let's make it $450 or $468 or whatever. [00:01:46] It's now over $500 million that Donald Trump is supposed to pay to New York. [00:01:50] Quote, when powerful people cheat to get better loans, it comes at the expense of honest and hardworking people. [00:01:55] Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank or get a mortgage to buy a home. [00:01:58] And if they did, the government would throw the book at them. [00:02:01] Yeah, like 30 years, Letitia. [00:02:03] They simply cannot be different rules for different people, she writes. [00:02:06] Now Donald Trump is finally facing accountability. [00:02:08] For his lying, cheating, and staggering fraud, because no matter how rich or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law. [00:02:14] Well, let's hear what the head of the FHA, William Pulte, is saying about Letitia and her respect for the law. [00:02:23] Shall we? [00:02:24] Recommended that the DOJ investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James over alleged mortgage fraud. [00:02:31] The AG, Letitia James, has responded. [00:02:35] We don't have the video, but here's the quote This investigation into me is nothing more than retribution. [00:02:41] It's baseless. [00:02:42] It has to do with the fact that on a power of attorney, I mistakenly indicated that I was a state of Virginia resident. [00:02:51] And prior to that, I indicated to the mortgage broker that, in fact, in bold cap letters, that I am not a resident of Virginia and never will be. [00:02:59] They just took the power of attorney and they're using that as a basis for enforcement of their investigation. [00:03:04] Bill, do you know why she said she was a resident of Virginia on the power of attorney, If in fact she wasn't.
