The Trish Regan Show - Trump, Vance Go SAVAGE on Zelensky Aired: 2025-03-01 Duration: 35:10 === Trump Goes Savage on Zelensky (14:28) === [00:00:03] Wow. [00:00:04] Okay. [00:00:05] Happy Friday, everyone. [00:00:07] Welcome to the program. [00:00:08] I don't think we've ever quite seen anything like that except, oh, maybe on an episode of The Apprentice, Donald Trump literally going savage on Zelensky. [00:00:20] I mean, it's the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen. [00:00:23] We're going to talk all about that. [00:00:24] Plus, I'm getting a little frustrated. [00:00:27] Full disclosure with Pam Bondi and the DOJ and where that H-E-L-L are those Epstein files. [00:00:34] I think I know. [00:00:36] I think I knew exactly what went down. [00:00:39] And we're going to talk about that. [00:00:42] But first, I mean, let's get to the good stuff. [00:00:44] My gosh, I mean, who needs the apprentice when you got this? [00:00:48] Wow, ladies and gentlemen, we have a new sheriff in town, and he has no use for the antics of one Vladimir Zelensky. [00:00:57] Take a look at what happened. [00:00:59] I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's going to end the destruction of your country. [00:01:03] Yes, but he's your president. [00:01:05] Mr. President, with respect, I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media. [00:01:10] Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. [00:01:17] You should be thanking the president for trying to bring it into this conflict. [00:01:20] Have you ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have? [00:01:23] I have been to. [00:01:24] You've come once. [00:01:25] I've actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, Mr. President. [00:01:34] Do you disagree that you've had problems bringing people in your military? [00:01:38] We have problems. [00:01:39] And do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is? [00:01:45] Trying to prevent the destruction of your country? [00:01:49] A lot of questions. [00:01:49] Let's start from the beginning. [00:01:50] Sure. [00:01:50] First of all, during the war, everybody has problems. [00:01:54] Even you. [00:01:55] But you have a nice ocean and don't feel now. [00:01:58] But you will feel it in the future. [00:02:00] God bless. [00:02:01] You don't know that. [00:02:02] God bless. [00:02:02] God bless. [00:02:03] You will not have war. [00:02:05] Don't tell us what we're going to feel. [00:02:06] We're trying to solve a problem. [00:02:08] Don't tell us what we're going to feel. [00:02:10] I'm not telling you how we're going to feel. [00:02:13] Because you're in no position to dictate that. [00:02:15] Remember this. [00:02:15] You're in no position to dictate. [00:02:17] What we're going to feel. [00:02:22] We're going to feel very good. [00:02:23] We're going to feel very good and very strong. [00:02:24] You're right now not in a very good position. [00:02:26] You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position, and he happens to be right about it. [00:02:30] From the very beginning of the war, you're not in a good position. [00:02:34] You don't have the cards right now. [00:02:36] With us, you start having cards. [00:02:38] You start playing cards. [00:02:42] Right now, you're playing cards. [00:02:43] You're gambling with the lives of millions of people. [00:02:45] You're gambling with World War III. [00:02:47] You're gambling with World War III. [00:02:50] And what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country. [00:02:55] I'm going to back you far more than a lot of people said they should have. [00:03:00] Have you said thank you once? [00:03:01] A lot of times. [00:03:02] No, in this time of day, you said thank you. [00:03:04] You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. [00:03:09] Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country. [00:03:20] Oh, my gosh. [00:03:21] I mean, this is just, you guys, I've never, I mean, it's amazing. [00:03:27] You can tell how passionate Donald Trump is about this issue. [00:03:31] You can tell that he has very little patience for somebody who spent. [00:03:35] A lot of our money, like a lot, we're talking somewhere in the vicinity. [00:03:40] I mean, I think he said it 350 million dollars. [00:03:43] I, you know, I've got a lot to show you from this, um, including this moment right here where Donald Trump basically says, You know what, we're done here, we're done. [00:03:55] I mean, he's like kicking him out of the White House. [00:03:58] Maybe, maybe he did. [00:03:59] I don't know what happened, but he didn't break it with me. [00:04:02] He wants to make a deal. [00:04:03] I don't know if you can make a deal. [00:04:05] The problem is, I've empowered you to be a tough guy. [00:04:09] I don't think you'd be a tough guy without the United States. [00:04:13] And your people are very brave. [00:04:15] But you're either going to make a deal or we're out. [00:04:17] And if we're out, you'll fight it out. [00:04:20] I don't think it's going to be pretty, but you'll fight it out. [00:04:24] But you don't have the cards. [00:04:26] But once we sign that deal, you're in a much better position. [00:04:29] But you're not acting at all thankful. [00:04:32] And that's not a nice thing. [00:04:33] I'll be honest, that's not a nice thing. [00:04:35] All right, I think we've seen enough. [00:04:37] What do you think? [00:04:38] This is going to be great television, I will say that. [00:04:42] All right. [00:04:45] We'll see what we can do about putting it together. [00:04:47] Thank you. [00:04:56] Oh my gosh, wow. [00:04:57] You know, and he lost it on a reporter too, because a reporter was like, okay, well, what if we have this deal, this ceasefire deal, which Donald Trump so desperately wants, and Russia breaks it? [00:05:09] And the president's like, yeah, excuse me? [00:05:13] Well, I'll let him say it. [00:05:14] Here we go. [00:05:15] Him losing it on a reporter because it's like, you can't ask these questions that, you know, are so sort of far-fetched. [00:05:25] I mean, he wants to take a chance and get some kind of peace deal done. [00:05:37] What are you saying? [00:05:39] She's asking, what if Russia breaks the ceasefire? [00:05:42] What if anything? [00:05:42] What if a bomb drops on your head right now? [00:05:47] Okay? [00:05:47] What if they break it? [00:05:48] Okay. [00:05:51] You know, what if, what if, what if, right? [00:05:53] You could go on all day. [00:05:54] And he's like, I don't want to deal with the what ifs. [00:05:58] I want a deal done. [00:06:01] This is a very different tone, shall we say, than what we saw a short time ago from one Joe Biden, where he was just writing checks and writing checks and writing checks. [00:06:10] Remember? [00:06:12] I've announced six packages of significant funding. [00:06:15] Today I'm also signing an additional package for $225 million to help you reconstruct the electric grid. [00:06:25] But once we got the national security bill passed, that was a political issue. [00:06:34] Oh my gosh, he's like falling asleep while he's telling him this. [00:06:36] But he did get that out. [00:06:37] He got the $250 million. [00:06:40] He's so proud of all the money he's sending. [00:06:42] And Donald Trump's like, listen, you wouldn't be anywhere. [00:06:45] Without all this money that we are sending your way. [00:06:49] And so you know what? [00:06:51] You don't have a hand to play right now. [00:06:54] When we say we want a peace deal, when we want to stop the killing, you kind of got to listen to that one and don't forget, I mean Donald Trump, as as recently as about a week ago, sat down with Macron and he, he was saying with Macron you know what, like I, I think we can get something. [00:07:15] I see, I think we can get something done. [00:07:17] And Macron, from France, went along with it and kind of seemed to be agreeing on that. [00:07:20] So I think there was a lot of expectation here. [00:07:22] And for Zelensky to come in and say, no, I don't want a ceasefire, that did not go over well. [00:07:27] Let's take a look at the conversation with Macron. [00:07:30] I think the war could end soon. [00:07:32] Well, how soon? [00:07:34] Within weeks? [00:07:36] Yeah, I think so. [00:07:37] Don't you think so? [00:07:39] I'd like to ask, have you? [00:07:40] I think we could end it within weeks if we're smart. [00:07:43] If we're not smart, it'll keep going and we'll keep losing young, beautiful people. [00:07:51] That we shouldn't be dying. [00:07:54] And we don't want that. [00:07:54] And remember what I said this could escalate into a third world war. [00:08:00] And we don't want that either. [00:08:02] Yeah. [00:08:04] So I think the message overall basically was you know what? [00:08:09] You either make a deal with us or it's over. [00:08:14] It's absolutely positively over. [00:08:16] Maybe. [00:08:17] Maybe he did. [00:08:17] I don't know what happened. [00:08:19] But he didn't break it with me. [00:08:20] He wants to make a deal. [00:08:21] I don't know if you can make a deal. [00:08:24] The problem is I've empowered you to be a tough guy. [00:08:28] And I don't think you'd be a tough guy without the United States. [00:08:31] And your people are very brave. [00:08:33] But you're either going to make a deal or we're out. [00:08:36] And if we're out, you'll fight it out. [00:08:39] I don't think it's going to be pretty, but you'll fight it out. [00:08:43] But you don't have the cards. [00:08:44] But once we sign that deal, you're in a much better position. [00:08:48] But you're not acting at all thankful. [00:08:50] And that's not a nice thing. [00:08:51] I'll be honest, that's not a nice thing. [00:08:54] All right, I think we've seen enough. [00:08:56] It's almost as though we're watching the art of the deal here, right? [00:09:00] And he's trying to coach them along. [00:09:01] I mean, from the very beginning, When Zelensky arrived this morning at the White House, this was a moment because you got like little Zelensky and he's coming up to Trump and Trump's like the dad there, okay? [00:09:15] And he's like, you're really dressed up today, right? [00:09:19] You're really dressed for the part. [00:09:20] So there's this sort of like just moment where you can see Trump's like, and then he sits him down and he gets a talking to. [00:09:28] It's like from mom and dad, right? [00:09:30] Because it's like they just tag team him. [00:09:33] They ambush him. [00:09:35] Fans. [00:09:36] And Trump together. [00:09:37] But you know, it all kind of set the tone here this morning. [00:09:40] Take a peek, here comes Zelensky. [00:09:44] He's all dressed up today. [00:09:48] You hear that he's all dressed up today. [00:09:50] He's really not right. [00:09:53] He's all dressed up today. [00:09:55] He says to Zelensky, they pose for the photographers, and he said it twice. [00:10:01] He's all dressed up today. [00:10:03] And then you know he sits down and it just kind of goes from bad to worse. [00:10:08] I mean it's, it's really It's really amazing, but he's trying to talk to him. [00:10:14] Eventually, he has to put him in a timeout, but it's sort of like tough love with a kid. [00:10:18] Your country is in big trouble. [00:10:20] Can I ask you a question? [00:10:21] No, no. [00:10:21] We've done a lot of talking. [00:10:22] Your country is in big trouble. [00:10:24] I know. [00:10:25] You're not winning. [00:10:26] I know. [00:10:26] You're not winning this. [00:10:27] You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us. [00:10:31] Mr. President, we are staying in our country, staying strong from the very beginning of the war. [00:10:35] We've been alone, and we are thankful. [00:10:37] I said, thanks. [00:10:38] You haven't been alone. [00:10:39] And not only in this cabinet. [00:10:39] In this cabinet. [00:10:41] We gave you, through this stupid president, $350 billion. [00:10:45] We gave you military equipment. [00:10:47] And you men are brave, but they had to use our military equipment. [00:10:51] What about Vesco? [00:10:51] If you didn't have our military equipment, if you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks. [00:11:02] Boom, boom, boom. [00:11:04] Right? [00:11:04] So, in other words, he's trying to say, we've been doing this alone. [00:11:07] And Trump is like, no, you haven't been alone. [00:11:09] For goodness sakes, we've been giving you all this money. [00:11:11] And I just showed you the clip. [00:11:12] of Biden saying we got another 225 million for you. [00:11:15] And you know, one of the frustrating things about all this is that the war keeps going and going and going. [00:11:20] I mean, I am of the belief, and I've said this to you guys, that there was a complete breakdown, and maybe it was deliberate from a diplomatic sense, in that we should never have gone to this. [00:11:28] Knowing Trump as I do and having talked to him, and even I'm going to full disclosure, I actually heard that tone of voice from him once on the phone when we were having a conversation. [00:11:40] I was asking why we were pulling everybody out of Syria. [00:11:43] And he had this frustration because he just didn't want anybody dying. [00:11:48] Okay. [00:11:49] He really is it's so funny because the left is like all about, you know, peace and love and all that good stuff and their DEI. [00:11:56] And he's actually just very much a believer in meritocracy. [00:11:59] And like he puts his money where his mouth is in that he also actually wants a peaceful world. [00:12:04] Like he really, really, really wants a peaceful world. [00:12:07] And he's looking at Zelensky like, how do you not want this? [00:12:12] Zelensky doesn't want to give up anything. [00:12:14] He wants to keep fighting. [00:12:15] And Trump's like, but you're. killing people, okay? [00:12:18] Like you're killing people and your guys are dying and this is not right. [00:12:22] And so we've got to find some kind of solution here. [00:12:25] And so it's just this really epic moment. [00:12:28] And, you know, I can go back to, for example, Zelensky talking about the money, the money that came from the U.S. [00:12:35] I mean, don't forget the hundreds of billions of dollars that we've put forward here. [00:12:39] And I think that they had the will of the U.S. people in the beginning because they thought that this would be kind of done quickly and you wouldn't have this massive catastrophe of destruction. [00:12:53] It was expected to kind of move along. [00:12:56] And yet they've lost so much money. [00:12:59] I mean, Zelensky admitted this. [00:13:00] Take a listen. [00:13:01] This is in Ukrainian. [00:13:02] I will have to translate. [00:13:03] I forget what he's saying. [00:13:05] This is the wrong spot. [00:13:05] That's where he kicks him out. [00:13:06] We'll get to that in a second. [00:13:07] But let me see if I can show you Zelensky here actually just saying. [00:13:12] Not too long ago in this interview that he did that you know. [00:13:17] Uh, he wasn't entirely sure where all the money was going. [00:13:21] And it's like buddy, like that's our taxpayer dollars. [00:13:24] I mean, you got to be kidding me. [00:13:27] You can't account for all this. [00:13:28] And we know they can't account for it, because think about the defense secretary in Ukraine that we effectively fired right, and he apparently was siphoning off some money and took off for Dubai. [00:13:39] And then you had the deputy defense secretary that we also had to fire because, once again, money went missing. [00:13:45] And now Zelensky being asked about the money in an interview. [00:13:49] And I will translate. [00:13:50] So he's saying here, you know, yes, you know, America gave all this money. [00:14:03] He's talking about 177 billion to be precise. [00:14:06] Trump would argue it was more like 350 billion. [00:14:09] And he said, you know, this is the money that was given to us by Congress. [00:14:15] I'm just going to tell you, we didn't actually get that much. [00:14:18] We received just over 75. [00:14:21] So there's some dispute there, right? [00:14:22] Because we're like, but wait a second, we gave you this much. [00:14:24] And he's like, no, he said 100 billion of these 177 or 200, some people say, we have never received. === The Ukraine Aid Dispute Explained (06:55) === [00:14:31] And then he goes on to say, and this is important because we're talking about very specific things. [00:14:36] And he said, because it's not just the money, but the weapons. [00:14:40] We've got $70 billion worth of it. [00:14:42] There's training. [00:14:42] There's additional transport. [00:14:45] There's not only these prices for the weapons, there's all this other stuff. [00:14:49] There is, I'm going to take a guess and say he gets into, oh, there you go. [00:14:57] I was going to say social media. [00:14:59] That's exactly what he said. [00:15:00] We've got humanitarian programs. [00:15:02] We've got social media programs. [00:15:03] So they've got all these things that they have to spend money on. [00:15:07] And you know what? [00:15:11] There's no more tolerance for it now in the United States. [00:15:14] I mean, this is just another reason why America elected the president that was going to put America first. [00:15:20] Right? [00:15:21] I mean, who, by the way, just signed an executive order to make English our national language. [00:15:27] It's like, wait a second, it's not? [00:15:29] No, there was nothing that said that. [00:15:30] I know people who want like a constitutional amendment to make English the national language. [00:15:35] You know what? [00:15:36] I'm proud that the president did that today. [00:15:37] And I say that as someone, by the way, who speaks four languages. [00:15:40] English happens to be my first language, my native language, the language I'm clearly best at. [00:15:46] And I think it's wonderful that we are doing that anyway. [00:15:52] Donald Trump just had it up to here, okay? [00:15:56] He's like, buddy, this isn't working. [00:15:58] And the next thing you know, Zelensky gets kicked out. [00:16:03] He's kicked out of the White House here. [00:16:05] Take a look at the tape. [00:16:06] Hang on with this. [00:16:07] Zelensky's SUV. [00:16:07] If you look to your left, you're going to see him. [00:16:11] Let's watch. [00:16:11] That's it. [00:16:11] President Zelensky, can you tell us what happened? [00:16:11] Trump had said to Zelensky, we have seen enough, and he sent him. [00:16:28] Your country is in big trouble. [00:16:30] Can I ask you something? [00:16:31] No, no. [00:16:31] You've done a lot of talking. [00:16:32] Your country is in big trouble. [00:16:34] I know. [00:16:35] You're not winning. [00:16:36] I know. [00:16:36] You're not winning this. [00:16:37] You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us. [00:16:41] Mr. President, we are staying in our country, staying strong from the very beginning of the war. [00:16:45] We've been alone. [00:16:47] And we are thankful. [00:16:47] I said thanks in this cabinet. [00:16:49] We gave you, through this stupid president, $350 billion. [00:16:55] We gave you military equipment. [00:16:57] And you met our brave, but they had to use our military equipment. [00:17:01] What about the rest of the world? [00:17:02] If you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks. [00:17:10] I know I played that a couple times. [00:17:13] I just could keep watching that like in a loop because it's amazing. [00:17:19] You know, we're getting to see how the sausage gets made, so to speak. [00:17:23] And Zelensky comes in there and he's angry because he wants the war to keep going, and Vance is definitely against it. [00:17:30] And he's like you know, you really shouldn't do this. [00:17:32] And and then Trump's like it's fine, like let this, let this all play out, because the American people should see it. [00:17:39] And he he's, he's done, he's done with him. [00:17:42] I will say this, he left a little window open, which is important. [00:17:47] Here's his statement that he made after he kicked him out, And it's very much, it's like the parent saying, okay, you know what? [00:17:57] You're out of control. [00:17:59] And until you can get your act together, you're in a timeout over there in the corner. [00:18:04] So here's Donald Trump saying, quote, we had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. [00:18:10] Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. [00:18:15] It's amazing what comes out through emotion. [00:18:18] And I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. [00:18:32] I don't want advantage. [00:18:34] I want peace. [00:18:37] He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. [00:18:42] He can come back when he is ready for peace. [00:18:48] Kind of sounds like we're out. [00:18:52] Zelensky, you just got kicked out of the house, the White House, and you're on your own. [00:19:00] And so Donald Trump's leaving that window open that will back you if you're willing to have a ceasefire and negotiate for peace. [00:19:11] So. [00:19:13] Of course, the mainstream media is going absolutely positively while Christiane Amapour is holding her head. [00:19:21] I got to show you this clip, okay? [00:19:23] I've got to show you. [00:19:24] But first, quick reminder, the company I started, 76 Research, with my dear friend, Rob Horden, brilliant investor. [00:19:31] You guys need to check this out. [00:19:32] Use code word dollar if you want to get the 76 report. [00:19:34] Or, you know what? [00:19:35] If you really want to start investing, and I can't encourage you enough to do it, go look at our portfolios. [00:19:39] We have three portfolios, 10 to 15 stocks in each single one of them. [00:19:43] American Resilience, Income. [00:19:45] Builder and the inflation protection portfolio. [00:19:48] Go look at that. [00:19:49] Go look at it today. [00:19:51] 76research.com. [00:19:52] Use code word dollar. [00:19:54] I put it in the show notes for you, but wait till you see the reaction, okay? [00:20:00] So Trump kicks him out and CNN goes bonkers, as only CNN could. [00:20:09] This, ladies and gentlemen, is well worth seeing. [00:20:14] Caitlin, I want to start with look at her face. [00:20:16] I mean, Christiane, hold that thought for once. [00:20:20] Okay, actually, Christiane, please take it away. [00:20:25] Never in the history of modern diplomacy, war, peace, whatever, have I ever, ever, ever seen anything like it. [00:20:35] We just have to hope that for the safety of the free world and for the American people, for the European people, for the Ukrainian people, that these two presidents, out of breath, And try to iron out their differences. [00:20:52] This was an entirely personal go to with so many mistruths and misfires. [00:21:01] J.D. Vann, who once said about Ukraine, I don't really care about whatever happens to Ukraine. [00:21:08] Bez Zelensky who spent on but what christian, this it's impossible to understand what's next. [00:21:20] So she's got some bad Wi-Fi and she can't keep talking and they cut her off. [00:21:23] But wow, she's upset because, you know, they drank the Kool-Aid. === NATO Expansion and Cold War Fears (07:51) === [00:21:27] And now you get a president in there who doesn't drink that Kool-Aid, a president who actually just doesn't want people slaughtering each other and wants to actually find a peaceful accord here and figures, hey, you know, we can't keep draining our own bank accounts to support death and destruction. [00:21:42] I mean, if we want to go back in time, and I see in your comments some of you guys are asking for that perspective, what I would say is, remember in 2014 when we first actually put in, well, you wouldn't remember, the New York Times actually did a very big article on this, like a 40-page PDF article on this. [00:21:59] Our CIA went in with a commitment back in 2014 around the time of Crimea. [00:22:05] And by the way, Obama gave him Crimea. [00:22:07] But we started going in and sort of testing out, testing out the loyalty, if you would, of the Ukrainians because the belief, the common belief was that they could not be trusted. [00:22:20] And that was sort of the intelligence viewpoint on Ukraine up until that point. [00:22:25] And so they kind of just cautiously went in there and they were just sort of seeing whether or not they could trust them in case this would ever really come to a head. [00:22:34] I would also just point out that NATO's been getting bigger and bigger and bigger, right? [00:22:39] And I think Russia feels well, we know Russia feels very threatened by the fact that NATO keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger. [00:22:47] And if you go back and you look at, say, some of the writings of the original diplomat to the USSR back during the Cold War era, he actually was very explicit in saying we need to make sure in the post-Cold War era that we contain NATO because if it gets too big, [00:23:13] Russia will feel threatened and you're going to basically relaunch yourself into another Cold War scenario. [00:23:19] But it's almost like, you know, we came out of the Cold War and I don't think people knew what to do with themselves. [00:23:23] You had all these intelligence agencies and these big, you know, manufacturing of weapons companies that were like, okay, so wait, now what do we do? [00:23:30] And they're looking at each other. [00:23:32] And so you got into kind of a new Cold War situation and it just kept growing and growing and growing. [00:23:39] And look, I mean, you can go back to Cheney, to Dick Cheney, who actually was an original architect of some of this stuff. [00:23:45] that we needed to keep growing and expanding NATO. [00:23:47] And the Clintons went along with that. [00:23:49] And really, until Donald Trump came along, everybody was like pro, pro, pro, pro NATO. [00:23:54] And I think Russia was like, okay. [00:23:56] And so now this logic is really being flipped on its head. [00:24:02] And CNN doesn't like it. [00:24:03] I mean, they had a guy on today who's like a foreign policy analyst. [00:24:08] And he's saying, you know, which side is Trump on? [00:24:11] And they're like, I can't believe that he would be on the side of Russia. [00:24:14] But I think he's on the side of peace, basically. [00:24:17] He does not want war going on over there, and he doesn't want to get dragged into something that would be unnecessary, costly, and more than costly, deadly. [00:24:28] Right now, with the president, is which side of this war is Donald Trump on? [00:24:34] The past few weeks, the president has suggested that his sympathies really lie with the Russians. [00:24:41] You saw that in his refusal to say that it was Russian aggression that began the war. [00:24:48] You saw it in the discussions that they had in Saudi Arabia. [00:24:51] Where there was talk about a broader economic relationship with Russia, which would mean undoing the sanctions that were imposed here. [00:25:01] So if you're President Zelensky, you've got to think, gee, my biggest ally is about to go over to the other side here. [00:25:10] And that's what he's trying to pull him back from. [00:25:13] It's also what President. [00:25:14] Yeah. [00:25:16] He tried. [00:25:18] It didn't work. [00:25:20] And so now everybody's flipping out. [00:25:22] I mean, you got Ben Rhodes, who was like the. [00:25:26] The policy advisor to Obama, who's out on MSNBC today saying, Oh my gosh, you know, now he's just siding with the Russians. [00:25:34] Again, I'm going to get back to Trump does not want Europe at war and us at war with Russia. [00:25:43] And I don't think he's, you know, he's not willing to defend Ukraine in this way. [00:25:49] Now, maybe perhaps Ukraine's original mistake was allowing itself to get, you know, stuck. in this situation to begin with. [00:25:58] I mean, maybe they should have held out and said, we need nuclear weapons ourselves. [00:26:01] We're not going to rely on the Europeans to protect us. [00:26:06] But these things happen. [00:26:08] They're now in a very bad situation in that people are trying to use Ukraine as that chip. [00:26:15] And we've spent a lot of money and we've gotten nowhere. [00:26:18] And he's like, forget about it. [00:26:20] It's not happening anymore. [00:26:21] Just not happening. [00:26:23] And so he's given the kid a bit of a lesson on how you can negotiate towards peace. [00:26:29] It's like, take it or leave it, Zelensky. [00:26:31] We can work with you to actually find a deal that matters. [00:26:34] I mean, if we go in there and we have the mineral rights, one, it means that we will have to spend money to build out that infrastructure. [00:26:39] That's good for you. [00:26:40] But guess what? [00:26:41] We make money on that too. [00:26:42] And two, you should want us having a vested interest economically. [00:26:47] Okay. [00:26:47] Like let's get back to actual brass tacks. [00:26:51] And that would be money, right? [00:26:53] Business reporter than I am. [00:26:55] It's like, wait a second. [00:26:56] Why do we just keep pouring money into this? [00:26:58] How does that help us? [00:26:59] Maybe it helps Lockheed Martin. [00:27:01] Interestingly, have you seen Lockheed Martin stock since 2014? [00:27:05] Rob and I at 76 Research were looking at that and it's amazing. [00:27:08] Like this stock was left for dead. [00:27:10] And do you know since 2014 when we first went into Ukraine on the down low, it's actually outpaced some of the, you know, the biggest performers in the S&P. [00:27:21] Like it's outpaced MAG7. [00:27:25] So wow. [00:27:26] Okay. [00:27:26] The idea being that government gives these countries money and then they go back and they purchase the weapons from the Lockheed Martin's of the world. [00:27:34] And then those weapons go into deployment. [00:27:38] And sadly. [00:27:40] wind up in a lot of death and destruction. [00:27:43] And so you get a president coming in saying, yeah, we're not going to do this anymore. [00:27:47] We're just not going to do this. [00:27:48] There's got to be a better way. [00:27:50] And he's thinking about things in ways that the traditional neocons and political scientists and realists and liberals like have never actually really thought about it before. [00:28:04] So that's what's playing out on the world stage. [00:28:09] And Zelensky just kind of had his ASS handed to him, okay? [00:28:15] That's what just went down. [00:28:18] He's now in timeout. [00:28:20] Trump has left the door open. [00:28:22] If you can get your act together, kid, if you can come back and for goodness sakes, put on a suit and tie when you're going to sit down with the President of the United States and try and do a deal, act the part and let's get something that's real on the table. [00:28:37] So a just massive story. [00:28:41] incredible, incredible to see. [00:28:44] And we're getting this window into it because Donald Trump, being Donald Trump, doesn't actually want to hold back on anything. [00:28:53] He is Mr. Transparency. [00:28:55] And so you're getting to see how the sausage is made. [00:28:58] And I think a lot of people will come away from that. [00:29:00] I mean, some people like CNN are going to be, oh, you know, Trump's a bully and he's on Putin's side. [00:29:04] And other people are like, wow, like, why doesn't Zelensky want a peace deal? [00:29:12] Why doesn't Zelensky want at least a ceasefire as we work towards the peace deal? === Transparency vs. Bullying Accusations (04:26) === [00:29:19] Ask yourself that, right? [00:29:22] I mean, just unbelievable. [00:29:23] Again, big, big kick in the pants today for one Vladimir Zelensky. [00:29:30] Hmm. [00:29:31] You do have Trump also calling now for the Europeans to step up. [00:29:37] Trump made it very, very clear he would like to see the Europeans do their part if it's so important. [00:29:44] If it's so important to keep Ukraine or to make it part of NATO, he said he's not trying to get out of NATO or get rid of NATO, but come on, guys, this can't all be on our shoulders. [00:29:57] We're committed to NATO, but NATO has to step up, and the Europeans have to step up more than they have. [00:30:03] And I want to see them equalized because they are in for far less than we're in, and they should be at least equal. [00:30:09] You understand that. [00:30:11] Why is the United States, we have an ocean in between, why is the United States in for so much more money and other things? [00:30:18] As Europe. [00:30:19] With that being said, and as you said, they've also been obviously very helpful. [00:30:23] But we have put in far more than they have. [00:30:26] And I think they should equalize. [00:30:31] Equalize. [00:30:33] That's a good word. [00:30:34] That's a very, very good word. [00:30:36] You know what, Europe, you know, chip in a little, would you? [00:30:40] Meanwhile, I got to ask you guys, I got to ask you, what the heck just went down with Pam Bondi and all this intel? [00:30:48] Right? [00:30:48] What was that about? [00:30:50] I don't like that. [00:30:51] We're going to get to that in a second. [00:30:53] But first, balance of nature. [00:30:55] I've been taking it every day. [00:30:56] And what do you know? [00:30:57] Do I not sound better? [00:30:58] I sound better. [00:30:58] There's still a little bit of hoarseness in the voice, but I'll tell you, I'm not coughing hysterically every time I laugh, and I laugh a lot. [00:31:05] And that would have been really, really bad on today's show. [00:31:08] Robert Vondarth, thank you so much for your generosity. [00:31:11] So much appreciated. [00:31:12] Love you guys. [00:31:13] I have the best viewers. [00:31:14] Look, Robert is saying that the world's teetering on World War III, and you get Zelensky acting like a spoiled. [00:31:22] Petulant teenager I mean, that's kind of how I saw it too like you know, showing up at the grandparents house or at dad's house and not even dressed properly for dinner right, and then like fighting fighting fighting, and finally dad has to say no, hey kid, you're getting cut off, we're not going to just keep shoveling money to you anymore because you know you're not, you're not doing this in the right way. [00:31:48] I agree with you, cat Crazy, the war is senseless at this point. [00:31:51] And listen, I think they had a lot of equity from a lot of us going in, But this wore on and on and on. [00:31:58] And I think a lot of people kind of just saw it as graft after a while, right? [00:32:03] Like, what is going on? [00:32:04] They can't even account for the money. [00:32:05] And you get the deputy defense director, the head of defense, all like running off to Dubai or getting fired because they're stealing. [00:32:13] It's like, you know, we gave them all this money. [00:32:15] And unfortunately, it was like, you know, Cookie Monster sitting in front of a big giant plate of cookies. [00:32:21] And they were like, okay, I'll take a little here, And again, this is our money. [00:32:27] And what's not being stolen is being used for death and destruction. [00:32:30] Like that's never a good thing. [00:32:32] Like we got to be able to find more sensible ways. [00:32:35] And I keep going back to economics. [00:32:37] Like if you can find a business agreement there that makes sense and then we have a presence over there, right? [00:32:43] Because we're getting the mineral rights, then that starts to add up to something. [00:32:47] Reminder, balance of nature. [00:32:49] I have been taking in. [00:32:50] I have been feeling better, even though I got a terrible cold last weekend. [00:32:53] Balancenature.com. [00:32:55] Go check them out today on their website. [00:32:57] You can use my code word Trish. [00:32:58] It gets you 35% off. [00:33:00] Plus free shipping, plus a full-on money-back guarantee. [00:33:05] So no harm, no foul. [00:33:07] I take the fruits and veggies, the gummies every single morning and you know um, it's been a good year. [00:33:15] I did get sick. [00:33:16] I did get sick. [00:33:17] I I attribute it to that terrible plane ride I had coming back from Atlanta. [00:33:20] Remember when I went to the opera and I got stuck on the tarmac thanks Delta for three hours and they turned off the engines for part of that. [00:33:29] So clearly I picked up something I have been doing so well. [00:33:33] But the reason I've been doing so well, I'm convinced of it, is because of my balanced nature. [00:33:36] So anyway, I love those guys. [00:33:38] We love them for being a sponsor on this show. [00:33:41] I got to tell you, though, this is absolutely positively wild. === George Papadopoulos and the Honeypot Scandal (01:24) === [00:33:46] Like what we're seeing in Ukraine, what we're seeing, for example, on the FBI front, and where's the beef, so to speak? [00:33:57] And why didn't Pam Bondi sort of warn us of this a little bit? [00:34:02] I have a lot to say on this. [00:34:05] I really do, because, you know, I was talking with George Papadopoulos yesterday and his lovely new wife, Simona, and George was one of the original targets, allegedly by Comey, with three honeypot scandals, and he makes the point. [00:34:21] And he did make the point in yesterday's interview that James Comey really was just trying to target all of the campaigns that had a shot of winning because it goes as far back reportedly until 2015. [00:34:33] And that's when he was on Ben Carson's campaign. [00:34:36] So I want to get into all that with you guys because it's really, and what did they do with the evidence? [00:34:43] I think we knew or know what they did. [00:34:45] And I hate to say that, but I promised my friends at Newsmax, I would go on their show at 430, which means we're coming up on 430, and I got to go do that. [00:34:57] But you know what? [00:34:58] Let me do this quick hit on Newsmax, and let me come right back with you all because I want to talk about this. [00:35:07] There they are. [00:35:07] They're dialing in. [00:35:08] Here we go. [00:35:10] I'll be back.
