The Trish Regan Show - BREAKING: Letitia James OVERPLAYS Her Hand in Epic New Meltdown! Trish Regan Sets Her Straight Aired: 2025-02-17 Duration: 06:46 === Leticia James Meltdown (02:21) === [00:00:01] Leticia James may just be one of the craziest AGs, most irresponsible AGs to have ever lived in the United States of America. [00:00:10] Welcome to the program, everyone. [00:00:11] I am Trish Regan. [00:00:12] And wow, Tish James really going off the rails. [00:00:15] We're going to show you her latest meltdown. [00:00:17] It all comes as a federal judge, an Obama points a judge, by the way, is saying, you guys go for it. [00:00:24] Elon, Donald Trump, you got access to everything. [00:00:27] So you can imagine how they are flipping out as all of this news is coming to us on President's Day. [00:00:33] Happy President's Day. [00:00:34] Welcome to the program. [00:00:35] Make sure you like, share. [00:00:37] Hit the bell so that you know when I'm here. [00:00:39] I got a lot to talk to you about today. [00:00:42] This CBS host, Margaret Brennan, is getting absolutely torched by one Marco Rubio because clearly the woman needs to go and study her history, making some really bizarrely inaccurate comments. [00:00:56] We're going to get to all of that as the left tries to cancel, cancel, seriously, President's Day because, well, they don't like President's Day because there are some presidents that they just don't like. [00:01:07] Wow. [00:01:07] I mean, Unbelievable. [00:01:10] It's all coming as Elon Musk increasingly is under fire. [00:01:14] And now, guess what he has to deal with? [00:01:16] You're not going to believe it. [00:01:18] He has to deal with another baby mama. [00:01:21] Yeah, coming out of the woodwork. [00:01:23] Ashley Sinclair, a mega influencer of sorts, allegedly saying that she's the mama to baby number 13. [00:01:33] I actually have a lot of inside scoop that I really shouldn't have, honestly. [00:01:37] Like, I don't want to know these things, but I got to share it with you anyway. [00:01:41] So we're going to talk about that. [00:01:42] Ladies and gentlemen, good to have you here. [00:01:44] Plus, I just got back from the opera in Atlanta. [00:01:47] So I got a few pictures and stuff and we'll talk about that. [00:01:49] Plus my crazy, crazy plane ride home. [00:01:52] Delta, I love you. [00:01:53] But man, oh, man, this was not good. [00:01:55] Okay. [00:01:56] Letitia James, everyone, you know the drill. [00:01:59] You know who she absolutely despises and hates. [00:02:02] That would be one Donald Trump that she tried to bankrupt and then, you know, throw Elon in on the mix. [00:02:07] And you get the recipe of some people that might just drive this woman positively insane more than she already is. [00:02:15] No one elected Elon Musk and his minions, and no one has allowed him to have access to this information. === Separation of Powers Violated (03:02) === [00:02:23] This is a violation of the separation of powers. [00:02:28] The United States Congress, the United States Senate, has the sole discretion in having the power of the purse and not Elon Musk. [00:02:36] We are here today to seek a preliminary injunction to stand up against those forces who believe that they can unilaterally have power. [00:02:48] And have control all in the hands of the president of these United States. [00:02:54] Yeah, that didn't go so well. [00:02:58] Letitia, it really didn't go so well. [00:03:01] So that is something we have to get to. [00:03:03] But before, I mean, you got to understand the full scope of crazy here, okay? [00:03:08] Sorry, but you need to know what Donald Trump, Elon Musk, what we as taxpayers are up against. [00:03:17] Payments to the state of New York and to states all across this nation. [00:03:23] It is unacceptable, unconstitutional, ultra biased. [00:03:27] They have exceeded their authority. [00:03:29] And so it's important that attorneys general representing our respective states stand up and enforce the rule of law because Elon Musk, individuals at the Treasury, and the president of these United States is not above the law. [00:03:51] And we will continue. [00:03:53] You know, as attorneys general, we've been preparing for this. [00:03:58] This is not the outcome that we wanted. [00:04:01] With other Democratic AGs across this country to make sure that we would be ready to respond to any attempt to roll back our rights. [00:04:10] So here we are. [00:04:12] We've studied their platforms, we've identified certain possibilities, fact patterns, we've created contingency plans. [00:04:23] So no matter what the next administration throws at us, We're ready. [00:04:29] We're ready to respond to their attacks. [00:04:34] We're ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York as the governor outlined. [00:04:42] Well, you apparently weren't ready enough, Letitia, because guess what? [00:04:47] They cut it all. [00:04:49] Pambani went in and said, you know what? [00:04:50] You're impeding the process of us, ICE, arresting people who are here illegally, people who have committed crimes and are here illegally. [00:04:59] So because of that, we're going to cut your funding. [00:05:01] You know what? [00:05:01] We're going to go into the database. [00:05:03] We're going to see everything. [00:05:04] We're going to do everything. [00:05:06] And a federal judge just now giving the green light, at least for Elon Musk and Donald Trump to continue looking for every single little dime they can find, every single penny, right? [00:05:18] They're not going to let anything go to waste. [00:05:21] So this happening, Judge Chaikin out of D.C., saying, you know what? === Funding Cut for Agencies (01:20) === [00:05:25] She's not going to rule. [00:05:27] Like she's just, this is okay. [00:05:28] This is going to happen. [00:05:31] Oh boy. [00:05:32] He's tasked with the Department of Government Efficiency, Doge, Elon Musk. [00:05:36] A federal judge has just declined to issue an order halting Elon Musk and Doge from accessing federal data and slashing personnel. [00:05:46] Attorneys general from 14 states are attempting to stop Musk and Doge from accessing data in seven federal agencies and from firing or putting on leave employees in those agencies. [00:05:58] U.S. District Court Judge Chutkin just declined. [00:06:02] Refused to issue a ruling from the bench. [00:06:05] So at that point, she has not halted Musk and Doge from continuing their actions inside the seven agencies at issue here. [00:06:15] Just real quickly, because of your legal background, your quick thinking. [00:06:19] All right. [00:06:19] Two of the Supreme Court justices have subtly indicated that they would like to strike down the prevailing rule. [00:06:26] It's not statutory, those two being Thomas and Kavanaugh, in dicta in other decisions. [00:06:30] They'd like to get rid of this rule that a single district court judge, someplace in the country, Can issue a ruling that holds for the entire country. [00:06:37] It's not what the founding fathers expected here, and it's been gained. [00:06:42] And you know, the right can do it too, so the left shouldn't be too quick to oppose that.
