BREAKING: Whoopi Goldberg Makes DESPERATE MOVE to Save Job On 'View'— Gets Roasted

Whoopi Goldberg faces scrutiny on The Trish Regan Show for alleged desperate job-saving maneuvers amid claims of irresponsible commentary alongside Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid. The discussion pivots to Donald Trump's executive order establishing a 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay and his threats against federal workers resisting a return to Washington, D.C., offices. While ABC News faces potential license jeopardy under FCC leadership and Disney CEO Bob Iger seeks a buyer, the host contrasts this with the White House's embrace of alternative media influencers and ICE's deportation efforts targeting criminals and migrants from Colombia and Mexico. Whoopi Goldberg's Desperate Job 00:02:53
And Tanya Whoopi Goldberg is really, really desperate.
She must really need that job on Disney's The View because she's saying things that, well, let's just say we wouldn't expect one Whoopi Goldberg to ever say.
We're going to get to that.
Plus, whoo, Donald Trump just laying down the law, threatening Gitmo.
He's opening up to 30,000 criminal migrants.
Watch.
Today I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000. person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay.
Most people don't even know about it.
We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people.
Some of them are so bad we don't even trust the countries to hold them.
We're going to get into all that.
He's like, too bad.
You think the punishment's too bad?
Tough, tough.
He's also saying tough to all the federal workers that don't think that they have to come to work in Washington, D.C. anymore.
Did you know that only 6% of the people that are working for the federal government in Washington, D.C. actually come to the office?
I mean, it's costing us hundreds of billions of dollars.
Donald Trump's like, yeah, I'm not having it.
We're going to get into all of that.
But first, Whoopi Goldberg really does seem a bit desperate here.
I mean, for her to say what she said on today's show, all I can think of is they've really gotten to her.
Like they're taking her aside and they're like, Whoopi, Donald Trump really doesn't believe you should be on the air.
And by the way, I'd be with Donald Trump on that because she's been wildly irresponsible along with Rachel Maddow and a few others.
Joy Reid, I'm looking at you.
Anyway, Joy Behar, too, over there on THE VIEW.
Wildly irresponsible.
And yet you know she, she still has a job like that show is still on the air.
And you say to yourself, how can that be?
And I think it's a fair question to ask, in light of the FCC being the one to give the ABC license to all the local affiliates all over the country, and I think that that's actually, now that Donald Trump is in the White House, very much in jeopardy, now that Brennan Carr is head of the FCC, very much in jeopardy.
And even when you consider little things around the edges, like the fact that Elon Musk is so close to Donald Trump And Elon Musk really has no use for one, Bob Iger.
That would be the CEO of Disney.
That would be the company that owns ABC News.
You know, Iger has already said he wants to sell ABC News.
Apparently nobody wants to buy it because he hasn't found a buyer yet.
Because these numbers don't work, right?
We've been through that before.
That is the media that is dead.
This is the media that is alive and well and continuing to thrive and will grow.
I mean, you saw the news just yesterday.
My gosh, the White House is opening up the press briefings to all those podcasters, streamers. influencers out there, people who had previously been shunned by the likes of the mainstream media.
The Death of Traditional Media 00:00:19
Well, Whoopi Goldberg on her last go around here, it really is.
I mean, I don't know how she's going to keep this job.
She's suddenly trying to sound a very different tune.
This is all, you know, as ICE is rounding up criminals, rounding up migrants, sending planes of them back to Colombia, to Mexico, etc.
And here's Whoopi.
