[00:00:15]  And now we're hearing a very different story over there on the likes of MSNBC.
[00:00:21]  Please, I mean, can you get any more fun?
[00:00:23]  Joe and I went to Mar a Lago to meet personally with President elect Trump.
[00:00:28]  It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.
[00:00:34]  Hmm.
[00:00:35]  We're going to talk all about that because that's quite a move, if you ask me.
[00:00:38]  In the meantime, Donald Trump is expanding the base and expanding the base and expanding the base.
[00:00:45]  Here he is at last night's USC.
[00:00:55]  My goodness, my goodness.
[00:00:56]  And you know, you know, all must be right with the world when we now suddenly have a biological woman winning Miss Universe.
[00:01:07]  I mean, what can possibly go wrong, right?
[00:01:10]  Well, a few things along the way, and we can get into it.
[00:01:13]  We get those cabinet appointments, of course, to discuss, and we get some international stuff to discuss.
[00:01:19]  But first, we're going to begin on this crazy stuff over at MSNBC.

[00:01:59]  Big Joe and I went to Mar A Lago to meet personally with President elect Trump.
[00:02:05]  It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.
[00:02:11]  Oh, gosh, that had to have been hard for her, huh?
[00:02:14]  Had to have been really, really hard for Mika Brzezinski.
[00:02:17]  You know, we have listened to these guys say day after day after day after day, and I don't even need to go back and play it for you.
[00:02:22]  I've played it for you plenty of times before.
[00:02:24]  We've heard how heinous, how awful Donald Trump is, how heinous and awful anybody is that would possibly ever vote for Donald Trump.
[00:02:30]  And now all of a sudden, what, they're showing up on his doorstep?
[00:02:33]  At Mar a Lago, what is that about?
[00:02:36]  What do you think it's about?
[00:02:37]  I think it's about one thing and one thing only.
[00:02:39]  It's about ratings, which have been tanking ever since Donald Trump went down 51% there at MSNBC.
[00:02:46]  And I think it's about this, which is that the network itself is now in such bad shape that they're looking to spin it off along with a few other cable properties.
[00:02:55]  Look, that business is done.
[00:02:57]  We've been through that.
[00:02:58]  It's why I'm glad you're over here.
[00:02:59]  I'm glad you're subscribing, sharing, liking, and helping to contribute to this show in your way.
[00:03:04]  We've got a live chat so I can see what you're saying.
[00:03:06]  Look, That business is done.
[00:03:08]  This has replaced it, and then some.
[00:03:11]  And so, this is the reality of where we are.
[00:03:13]  And so, they know that.
[00:03:14]  So, they're challenged and they're trying to save their hides.
[00:03:17]  In addition, you get Donald Trump out there suing every Tom, Dick, and Harry as far as networks go.
[00:03:22]  And he's now got some power behind him because it looks as though he's moving forward with his plan to put Brendan Carr in as head of the FCC, which probably means some of these networks are going to have a hard time in that they're granted certain government rights.
[00:03:40]  To be over the airwaves.
[00:03:42]  And if you're not honest, if you're not in fact down the middle and you're just hammering one thing home all the time and we know they are just look at the Media Research Center, which has done the work to find that overwhelmingly, the coverage has been negative for Donald Trump, whereas it was extremely positive for Kamala Harris.
[00:04:01]  That's the reality of where we are now.
[00:04:04]  And so, ladies and gentlemen, they're getting sued, they're about to get sold, the ratings are taking.
[00:04:10]  So what does Scarborough do?
[00:04:11]  He says, okay, let me put on my thinking hat here.
[00:04:14]  I mean, he's like turning into Tucker 2.0.
[00:04:16]  I've played you this song.
[00:04:17]  I'm like, who is this guy?
[00:04:19]  I mean, he's wearing a suit and tie now to work, and he's suddenly talking about how he's a southern white male conservative.
[00:04:28]  I'm like, whoa!
[00:04:29]  Anyway, he went down there and he had a little discussion, the two of them did, with Donald Trump, and they were so proud of it, they had to come back on set today to talk to everybody about it.
[00:04:41]  I wonder what some of his colleagues might have had to say.
[00:04:45]  You know, the people like Joy Reid that absolutely positively despise Donald Trump with everything they got, they probably don't like this.
[00:04:53]  But I will tell you this, you know, Joe's a realist.
[00:04:56]  He was a politician after all.
[00:04:58]  And I think he sees the handwriting on the wall and he figures this is what I got to do and he's doing it.
[00:05:02]  Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply dismayed by several of President-elect Trump's cabinet selections.
[00:05:14]  And they are scared.
[00:05:15]  Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the president-elect himself.
[00:05:24]  On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that.
[00:05:30]  Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump.
[00:05:35]  It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.
[00:05:40]  Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, Mastiff.
[00:05:44]  Is it me, or does she always look like she's smelling something really bad?
[00:05:49]  And media outlets.
[00:05:53]  We talked about that a good bit.
[00:05:56]  And it's going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues, and we told him so.
[00:06:11]  What we did agree on was to restart communications.
[00:06:15]  My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States.
[00:06:19]  Restart communications as though you're like, I don't know, North Korea?
[00:06:24]  Profoundly disagreed.
[00:06:26]  That's a task shared by reporters and commentators alike.
[00:06:30]  We had not spoken to President Trump since March of 2020, other than a personal call Joe made to Trump on the morning after the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
[00:06:43]  In this meeting, President Trump was cheerful, he was upbeat, he seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues.
[00:06:54]  And for those asking why we would go speak to the president elect during such Fraught times, especially between us.
[00:07:02]  I guess I would ask back why wouldn't we?
[00:07:06]  Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.
[00:07:10]  We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the coarsening of public debate.
[00:07:21]  But for nearly 80 million Americans, election denialism, public trials, and January 6th were not as important as the issues.
[00:07:31]  That moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote.
[00:07:37]  Joe and I realize.
[00:07:38]  She's eating a little humble pie here, don't you think?
[00:07:41]  I mean, she's like, ah, we were wrong.
[00:07:45]  You guys were right.
[00:07:47]  You won.
[00:07:48]  So now we have to move on.
[00:07:50]  It's time to do something different.
[00:07:52]  And that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him.
[00:07:59]  Right, because they need some ratings, okay?
[00:08:01]  You saw the numbers, right?
[00:08:03]  Down 51% since the election.
[00:08:06]  They're like, okay, give me more, give me more, give me more.
[00:08:09]  If you can't beat them, join them.
[00:08:10]  I mean, it's really, it's kind of gross in that literally the next morning, the next morning, right after the whole thing went down, Joe was suddenly sounding really like he kind of likes Trump and he got it.
[00:08:24]  And he was suddenly like this new man.
[00:08:26]  And it's like, wait a second.
[00:08:27]  I mean, I did this story for you guys the other day.
[00:08:28]  I'm like, who is he really?
[00:08:30]  Well, I don't think he knows himself.
[00:08:32]  He's just collecting a paycheck and he's doing.
[00:08:34]  Some of the boss's orders.
[00:08:36]  Look, let's face it, Brian Roberts, who runs Comcast, he can't be too happy about this.
[00:08:40]  He's got a new guy coming in at FCC, Brendan Carr, and Brendan Carr is not exactly going to make his life so easy given the likes of Joy Reid, et cetera, on the air.
[00:08:48]  Joy might actually get her hind sent out the door.
[00:08:54]  I'm not kidding because did you see what Brandon sent out?
[00:08:57]  Let me see if I can find this for you guys.
[00:08:59]  Brendan Carr tweeted this.
[00:09:01]  Check it out.
[00:09:03]  He's done with the D.
[00:09:04]  Yeah, this is the guy who's going to come in.
[00:09:06]  He's only, he's like the only conservative on the FCC panel right now.
[00:09:10]  And he's like, I'm disgusted with this.
[00:09:12]  This was the second most important thing to the FCC last year, right?
[00:09:15]  So that meant, well, you have to have a certain number of people that look like this and have this kind of gender preferences and blah, all over your airwaves, or somehow you're not in sync with what the FCC wants.
[00:09:30]  And therefore, you know, you're at risk for losing your license.
[00:09:32]  So he's sick of it.
[00:09:33]  He's like, yeah, no, I don't really care about that.
[00:09:35]  So now Brian Roberts, head of Comcast, Which owns NBC, Universal, which owns MSNBC, doesn't have to worry about, oh, do I have every Tom, Dick, Harry, Sue, Susie, Jane in a variety of different colors with purple hair, et cetera, on my air?
[00:09:51]  Then maybe actually I have a little bit more room.
[00:09:54]  So it's a business.
[00:09:58]  After all, it is a business.
[00:10:00]  And I think no one knows that better than Joe Scarborough.
[00:10:04]  Hence, what he was out there saying the very day after the election.
[00:10:08]  I mean, Mika, his wife could barely even look at him on set.
[00:10:12]  She's glaring at him or just physically turned away the entire time when he was talking about, well, we lost this election because you see, even Democrats are concerned because their kids can't speak up in school because, you know, you may just get canceled.
[00:10:23]  That's exactly what happened.
[00:10:25]  And then some, but where were you, Joe, like two weeks ago or even two months ago?
[00:10:28]  No, no, no, no.
[00:10:29]  These are people that are just out there for themselves.
[00:10:34]  And when it was expedient for them to go after Donald Trump, they did.
[00:10:38]  And now, Looks like it's not so expedient to go after Donald Trump.
[00:10:42]  And so they're changing their tune drastically.
[00:10:46]  You know what?
[00:10:46]  We'll take it.
[00:10:47]  We'll take it.
[00:10:47]  Fine, fine.
[00:10:48]  You know what?
[00:10:48]  You guys want better ratings?
[00:10:50]  You want to get them on the show.
[00:10:51]  They also mentioned something about how, oh, they just kind of need to find common ground in different areas and it'll make them more interesting.
[00:11:00]  Here they are with David Ignatius, who runs the Washington Post.
[00:11:03]  He too was trying to suck up.
[00:11:05]  I mean, the whole kit and caboodle here.
[00:11:07]  Watch him.
[00:11:07]  You know, David, also, I remember.
[00:11:10]  I remember during the first term at one point, you may not even remember this phone call as walking through the airport, and you politely said, Every day, Joe, every day it's the same thing on your show.
[00:11:26]  When you can find common ground, find common ground, talk about it.
[00:11:30]  And I've noticed you do that.
[00:11:33]  I mean, I will tell you when so many people were in shock, and Mika and I were surprised too after the election result, your first column was talking about how Donald Trump.
[00:11:43]  Had the possibility to move us closer to peace in the Middle East.
[00:11:47]  I think that was a very important column to write at the time.
[00:11:50]  Again, I thought I was a little surprised when I read it right after the election.
[00:11:55]  But then you follow that up with some really tough columns about the real dangers with his DOD pick and also with Tulsi Gabbard.
[00:12:04]  Is that the type of balancing you're talking about?
[00:12:07]  It is, Joe.
[00:12:07]  I think we in the news business and commentary need to call him as we see him.
[00:12:13]  During Donald Trump's first term, When he did something that I thought made sense, the Abraham Accords between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are a perfect example.
[00:12:24]  I said without hesitation that I thought this was good for the country, good for the region.
[00:12:29]  I felt the same way about negotiating with North Korea to try to reduce the risk of nuclear war.
[00:12:35]  When he did things I thought hurt the country, I tried to be as emphatic again as I could be.
[00:12:40]  But we're in the business of covering the world, trying to see it whole.
[00:12:44]  And if people think that we are partisans on one side or another, I think.
[00:12:49]  In the end, their confidence in our ability to tell the truth, to do our job, declines.
[00:12:55]  You see that, some of that, in some of the poll numbers about how people trust us.
[00:12:59]  Yeah, duh.
[00:13:00]  Like, no one actually trusts any of you guys at all.
[00:13:03]  All right.
[00:13:03]  Like, that's, it's not like all of a sudden nobody's trusted you for the last however many years.
[00:13:09]  The mainstream media bias has been so massive.

[00:15:53]  It's together with these potential lawsuits that they're getting a little bit nervous.

[00:16:00]  A lot of people say, oh, well, you can't sue for defamation because you're a public figure and public figures, you know, it's a different standard.
[00:16:05]  Sure, it's a different standard, but if you're just outright constantly defaming somebody, even if they're a public person, they have the right to go back and say, hey, enough is enough.
[00:16:14]  And that's what Donald Trump is trying to do.
[00:16:16]  He announced lawsuits.
[00:16:17]  We learned of these on Friday.
[00:16:19]  He's talking about the Daily Beast, Penguin Publishing, New York Times, among others.
[00:16:25]  CBS, of course, being one that you knew of for defamation.
[00:16:29]  ABC News, George Stephanopoulos, he's going after for defamation.
[00:16:33]  And also in the case of CBS, for just wrongful reporting, the wrongful editing.
[00:16:37]  That'll be harder for him.
[00:16:39]  Full disclosure, that's going to be harder for him to actually.
[00:16:42]  I think the defamation stuff, though, could be quite real.
[00:16:44]  So we'll see.
[00:16:46]  But look, everyone's getting the message.
[00:16:48]  MSNBC's getting the message.
[00:16:50]  Even those over on The View are getting the message.
[00:16:52]  Look, the bottom line is that America needs a free press that is willing to speak truth to power right now, more than ever.
[00:17:10]  And I think that we have to be very clear eyed when we think about the president elect and cover the president elect.
[00:17:21]  And I don't think you need to sit down for 90 minutes at Mar a Lago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story.
[00:17:33]  So she's really dissing Mika and Joe for that one.
[00:17:36]  Oh, you kissed the ring.
[00:17:38]  So maybe they're not journalists in the true sense.
[00:17:41]  Maybe they're saying that they're opinion journalists.
[00:17:44]  Well, they're definitely not journalists, and neither are you, honey.
[00:17:47]  But we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news.
[00:17:54]  He is the guy who ushered in alternative facts.
[00:17:58]  He is the guy.
[00:18:00]  Who attempts?
[00:18:01]  It's sort of mind blowing.
[00:18:03]  Alternative facts.
[00:18:04]  I mean, isn't an alternative fact the New York Times tries to tell you that wages are actually going up?
[00:18:10]  Oh, they're going up, the New York Times reports, except they don't actually look at real wages, which are adjusted for inflation, which actually, in truth, tells you one thing and one thing only wages were going down under Joe Biden.
[00:18:23]  No, no, no, but that's alternative facts.
[00:18:25]  Give me a break.
[00:18:26]  All right, let's listen to this.
[00:18:27]  Three black female journalists.
[00:18:29]  He's the guy that revoked Jim Acosta's press credentials for.
[00:18:33]  Asking him a question.
[00:18:35]  And so I think that this president elect, I hate to say it, would like nothing more than to have only Fox News cover him, would like nothing more than a state sponsored media.
[00:18:49]  And I don't think he can be trusted in the way that other presidents can be trusted.
[00:18:57]  This is an aberration.
[00:18:58]  But the reality is, he doesn't just have Fox News.
[00:19:01]  He didn't do a lot of mainstream media this election, but he went on Joe Rogan and reached 50 million people.
[00:19:08]  So she's unbelievable.
[00:19:14]  I mean, she really, she's a very sore loser.
[00:19:16]  She's having a hard time.
[00:19:17]  Everybody else, first of all, Whoopi's not saying boo.
[00:19:19]  Okay, Whoopi's like afraid to talk because she needs the gig apparently, and she's on thin ice.
[00:19:24]  I'm sure her bosses are like freaking out.
[00:19:27]  Well, I'm not even sure.
[00:19:28]  This has been reported.
[00:19:29]  It is panic mode at The View right now.
[00:19:31]  It's so bad that they're actually looking for a conservative Magatav post to go on there and spar with them because it's that bad.

[00:19:39]  From the New York Post, ABC News Brasser, and Panic Mode as they hunt for conservative voices to balance the rabid anti Trump rhetoric spewed by the hosts on The View, the Disney owned network, which came under fire after these ABC News moderators grilled Donald Trump during the presidential debate.
[00:19:56]  Remember that one, three on one?
[00:19:57]  Well, it's been holding high level meetings ever since last week, routed by the former president.
[00:20:03]  Sources close to the situation told The Post.
[00:20:06]  And so the ABC News Group president, along with the ABC News president, they're just in all these talks.
[00:20:14]  They get figure out some way to try and get the other side out there because you know they didn't for how long and they're actually going to be in a lot of trouble not just with their viewers their viewers which have written them off but with this guy over at the fcc i'm talking about brandon carr brandon carr who has no appetite for any of this listen I've told you before and I'm going to tell you again.
[00:20:38]  There is no way that Disney wants this company, ABC.
[00:20:41]  Just no way.
[00:20:42]  It's like a hot potato.
[00:20:43]  You want to get rid of it.
[00:20:43]  The problem is nobody's actually willing to buy the thing.
[00:20:47]  Why would you want it?
[00:20:49]  It is way too expensive.
[00:20:50]  You got to deal with unions and all this other stuff.
[00:20:53]  I mean, think about the change in the podcast arena, in the streaming arena, in podcast video, what I'm doing here live with you right now.
[00:21:01]  It doesn't cost a lot.
[00:21:02]  You know what that view costs?
[00:21:05]  A whole lot.
[00:21:06]  You got a live studio audience.
[00:21:07]  You got cameras coming from here, there, and everywhere.
[00:21:09]  You got a big lighting crew.
[00:21:10]  You got somebody that you get to pay just to hold up signs to say clap or laugh or whatever that is.
[00:21:17]  So the FCC director is going to come in and say, you know what, I don't care about the values that you all cared about before because last time around, last time around, the second highest strategic goal for the FCC was diversity and inclusion.
[00:21:32]  Amazing.
[00:21:33]  Well, now the FCC doesn't care about diversity and inclusion anymore.
[00:21:37]  Now the FCC just cares about.
[00:21:39]  Fairness in reporting.
[00:21:40]  And I'm not saying you got to be pro Trump.
[00:21:43]  Believe me, I'm not saying that.
[00:21:45]  But you got to be fair.
[00:21:47]  You can't be the New York Times reporting that wages are going up.
[00:21:51]  You can't be Morning Joe saying it's you that's the problem.
[00:21:55]  Actually, the economy is just fine.
[00:21:57]  I mean, you want to talk gaslighting.
[00:21:59]  People don't feel like the economy is fine.
[00:22:01]  Why?
[00:22:01]  Because there's a tremendous amount of inflation and their money does not go as far.
[00:22:05]  So you got to complete the whole story.
[00:22:07]  And that's what the FCC is going to demand.
[00:22:09]  As they should, or you know what?
[00:22:11]  No, you really shouldn't have a public broadcasting license.
[00:22:14]  So, this is going to get heated and heated, more and more heated.
[00:22:18]  Sonny is the only one out there torching Trump on The View right now.
[00:22:22]  She seems to be a little bit, I don't know, sort of career suicidal esque in doing so because even Whoopi Goldberg knows better.
[00:22:30]  We heard from the other host on The View, Ana Navarra, even, who somehow thinks that, you know, we ought to just move forward and go to Thanksgiving with our family members and, you know, not.
[00:22:41]  Not allow this to consume us the way they believe that it consumes you or should consume you over on MSNBC with joy, who's not so joyful these days.
[00:22:52]  Listen, a lot is about to change.
[00:22:54]  And if you're smart as a business person, you're going to realize that.
[00:22:58]  You absolutely will.
[00:22:59]  I mean, MSNBC realizes it.
[00:23:01]  They're trying to sell the thing.
[00:23:02]  Disney realizes it.
[00:23:03]  It's trying to sell its networks.
[00:23:06]  And Joe Scarborough realizes it, right?
[00:23:08]  So he's trying to at least have a cleaned up brand in the process if he possibly can.
[00:23:15]  But they're panicked.
[00:23:16]  They're worried.
[00:23:16]  They don't know what to do.

[00:23:51]  It's just a remake remake remake starring in Snow White Rachel Zegler So we learned over the weekend that actually those comments that she made those really grotesque comments saying that basically Trump supporters Should never know peace and there were a few too many f-bombs along the way Well, that actually almost got her fired so reports are coming out now that Disney executives were actually very very concerned which is why what did she do?
[00:24:21]  Oh, she came out And she apologized on Friday because you know this wasn't playing in Peoria so well.
[00:24:28]  Take a look, did you see that little video?
[00:24:30]  That was something that was a video of Rachel Zegler from just a couple of weeks ago at her play there in New York City.
[00:24:36]  And there she is signing autographs complete with the mask because you know you got to wear a mask.
[00:24:42]  This is like two weeks ago a mask, really, to sign autographs.
[00:24:46]  I mean, the people still wearing masks.
[00:24:47]  I'm sorry, I'm over it.
[00:24:49]  And this little girl, this little Rachel Zegler, the little ingenue, she got Gina Carano allegedly fired from Disney because, you know, she made such a stink about Gina not putting up her pronouns on Twitter way back when.
[00:25:06]  I covered this story.
[00:25:08]  Let's take a walk down memory lane.
[00:25:10]  What was this, about a year and a half ago or so?
[00:25:12]  Take a peek.
[00:25:13]  Hashtag trans rights, and I wouldn't put my pronouns in.
[00:25:16]  And they kept on pressuring.
[00:25:17]  And finally, I just said, I'm not doing this.
[00:25:21]  So she wouldn't put her pronouns on her Twitter account.
[00:25:28]  And she got fired?
[00:25:32]  Listen, Elon Musk has already said anybody that wants to come forward with these kinds of issues that have been fired, if you've been fired unfairly, unjustly, because you wouldn't subscribe to a certain.
[00:25:49]  You know, ideal ideology that they want you to have, then he's your guy.
[00:25:54]  All right, he's your guy.
[00:25:56]  And so now Gina has announced that she is filing suit against the Disney Corporation and she's got Elon's backing.
[00:26:07]  So I think this is going to be kind of entertaining to watch.
[00:26:10]  Yeah, and it's still pretty entertaining to watch, right?
[00:26:13]  Because she wouldn't put her pronouns.
[00:26:16]  Disney got rid of her.
[00:26:18]  And then Elon's taken on a whole other presence.
[00:26:21]  We're going to get to that in a second.
[00:26:22]  But Elon had her back.
[00:26:23]  Gina Carano didn't put her pronouns.
[00:26:26]  She did something bibbity bobbity boop or something like that.
[00:26:28]  It was actually pretty funny.
[00:26:30]  And Rachel Zegler went nuts.
[00:26:33]  Gina's career was over.
[00:26:35]  She was excommunicated.
[00:26:36]  She was canceled.
[00:26:38]  And Elon said, well, wait a second.
[00:26:40]  Like, you can't be fired for your political beliefs.
[00:26:42]  She actually said at the time, she didn't even, you heard her, she didn't really even understand what it was.
[00:26:46]  What's fascinating is we learned just the other day that AOC Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has taken down her pronouns.

[00:26:56]  Imagine that.
[00:26:58]  Because, well, it's kind of like Joe and Mika going hat in hand to Mar a Lago begging for forgiveness.
[00:27:06]  It's like they see the handwriting on the wall, and you know what they know?
[00:27:09]  They know that they lost a lot of people with that insanity.
[00:27:12]  I mean, Hispanics alone, right?
[00:27:14]  Latinx, give me a break.
[00:27:17]  What are we going to remake the entire language?
[00:27:19]  You know that there's like masculine and feminine nouns in Spanish and Italian and French and Latin.
[00:27:25]  I mean, these people are so far up, but they're Finally, coming to their senses because they were forced to.
[00:27:33]  They were forced to.
[00:27:34]  As for Rachel, she was forced to.
[00:27:36]  I don't believe any of it.
[00:27:37]  I don't believe it.
[00:27:38]  I don't believe she's sorry.
[00:27:39]  I believe she is who she is.
[00:27:41]  And she's a very arrogant little girl who's arrogant enough to just, and young enough, I guess, to not even value normal things like love and family, which is why she hates Snow White as a character to begin with.

[00:28:00]  Storyline of Snow White and doesn't believe in love etc.
[00:28:03]  To actually play Snow White, but that's their problem.

[00:30:13]  And Has had quite a past and sort of come to Jesus, if you would, and also is a big Trump supporter.

[00:30:20]  Just a really eclectic group.
[00:30:22]  And so that's one of the things that Trump has done, in my estimation, so beautifully.
[00:30:28]  He's actually brought in all these people that maybe would have been on the fringe, like maybe would not have voted before, maybe felt frustrated with both parties.
[00:30:37]  And now they're part of the Republican club.
[00:30:41]  This is Make America Great Again, right?
[00:30:43]  You want more and more people coming into.
[00:30:46]  Some kind of political being in existence.
[00:30:49]  So he's been able to bring in all these folks that maybe normally, maybe wouldn't have voted, or maybe even, dare I say, would have voted for a Democrat.
[00:30:57]  Because the Democrats used to have a lock on working class America.
[00:31:00]  They've totally given that up, like willingly given it up.
[00:31:03]  It's sort of amazing when they go back in history and they look at all this, how the parties had shifted.
[00:31:09]  And so now you've got sort of a new breed of America First, which highlights the strength of capitalism.
[00:31:19]  And this great meritocracy that we have simultaneously with having some respect for working class Americans.
[00:31:25]  How do you help them get ahead?
[00:31:27]  You've got to have a strong middle class, right, if you're going to have a strong America.
[00:31:30]  So, this is what he's done so well.
[00:31:33]  And I think he's going to continue to do.
[00:31:35]  And they don't know how to fight back against that.
[00:31:38]  They really don't.
[00:31:38]  I mean, the guy gets accused of having garbage supporters, supporters that are garbage.
[00:31:44]  And what does he do?
[00:31:44]  He goes out and drives a garbage truck.
[00:31:47]  He goes to McDonald's and works the drive through.

[00:31:53]  To really relate to people in ways that the left just doesn't get and can't do because I think there's just so much arrogance, so much arrogance, and that's his to capitalize on.

[00:32:08]  I mentioned that Elon was there and Kid Rock was there, and you had the boys there, the Trump boys there, and again, Elon's there again, and here's another picture.

[00:32:34]  Because of what's going on with these appointments and this tension between Thune and Trump and Mike Johnson, etc., I have a feeling he's going to get the appointments he wants and he's going to come up with perhaps some creative ways to do it.
[00:32:48]  But anyway, Mike Johnson there, and they're holding up McDonald's and they were joking about how this was just so torturous for RFK, right?
[00:32:55]  Because RFK is Mr. Health.
[00:32:56]  He's HHS now.
[00:32:58]  Everybody's flipping out because what does it mean for the food industry?
[00:33:01]  What does it mean for the pharmaceutical industry?
[00:33:03]  Well, here he is, maybe eating McDonald's.
[00:33:06]  For one of the first times in, I don't know, decades, right?
[00:33:08]  Because he doesn't like that stuff.

[00:33:23]  But the New York Times decided they would do a little hit piece on RFK Jr. over the weekend.
[00:33:28]  This was titled Kennedy's Vow to Take on Big Food Could Alienate His GOP Allies.
[00:33:34]  Processed Foods are in the crosshairs of.
[00:33:36]  RFK Jr., but battling major companies could collide with President elect Donald J. Trump's corporate friendly goals.
[00:33:43]  Well, they're not wrong, but I'm reading the article and I literally almost spit out my coffee.
[00:33:47]  I'm like, you couldn't be kidding me, you guys.
[00:33:49]  It's like what I was telling you earlier.
[00:33:51]  How about the New York Times reports that there's been great inflation in wage growth, so nobody should be complaining.
[00:33:57]  Wages are going up.
[00:33:58]  And I'm like, yeah, but not the real wages.
[00:34:01]  When you look at wages adjusted for inflation, real wages are going down.
[00:34:06]  So here's another New York Times gem, a little beauty.
[00:34:09]  Here I'm reading the article and I'm like, are you kidding me?
[00:34:12]  So they're going after Fruit Loops, right?
[00:34:13]  He has singled out Fruit Loops as an example of a product with too many artificial ingredients, questioning why the Canadian version has fewer sort of bad ingredients than the US version.
[00:34:28]  And it turns out they're trying to say, but he's wrong.
[00:34:32]  He's wrong because they're actually basically the same.
[00:34:35]  The New York Times writes, and I quote, the ingredients list is roughly the same, although Canada.
[00:34:39]  Has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots.
[00:34:42]  While the U.S. produces products containing red dye 40, yellow 5, and blue 1, as well as I can't even say this, it's called BHT.
[00:34:53]  It's a lab made chemical that's used, quote, for freshness according to the ingredient label.
[00:34:58]  So once again, the killer New York Times on the case trying to say really what's the big deal, except for there are these things like red dye 40, yellow 5, blue 1, and BHT.
[00:35:12]  And none of that.
[00:35:14]  Is very good for you as this food expert recently explained.
[00:35:18]  I found this little clip and thought I'd show you.
[00:35:19]  This is McDonald's French fries.
[00:35:23]  I would like to argue that probably nobody in this room has not had a McDonald's French fries, by the way.
[00:35:28]  Nobody raised their hand during the staff meeting earlier today.
[00:35:33]  In the US, there's 11 ingredients.
[00:35:35]  In the UK, there's three, and salt is optional.
[00:35:40]  An ingredient called dimethyl polysiloxane is an ingredient preserved with formaldehyde, a neurotoxin, in the US version.
[00:35:48]  This is used as a foaming agent so they don't have to replace the oil that often, making McDonald's more money here in the United States.
[00:35:58]  But they don't do that across the pond.
[00:36:01]  It seems like something that we could fix, right?
[00:36:03]  We could fix that.
[00:36:04]  We probably should fix that.
[00:36:05]  And I knew those french fries tasted better when I was in Ireland.
[00:36:10]  I knew there was a reason.
[00:36:13]  Food often tastes better over there.
[00:36:14]  Maybe it's because of that, right?
[00:36:15]  Maybe we need to get some of these.
[00:36:16]  But how is this so bad?
[00:36:19]  Why is that so scary?
[00:36:20]  You're just going to have somebody who's going to come along and say, hey, you know what?
[00:36:23]  We ought to get some of these bad chemicals out of our food.
[00:36:27]  And that's somehow threatening to the entire system.
[00:36:30]  You know, it's crazy too.
[00:36:32]  The fact that pharmaceutical stocks sold off the way they did on Friday.
[00:36:35]  I'm like, guys, did you not see this one coming?
[00:36:38]  I mean, he got elected over a week ago, right?
[00:36:42]  How did you just suddenly wake up to this reality?

[00:36:48]  I would not trust the government to take care of your health or your wealth, shall we say, right?

[00:38:44]  One of the things, though, that Donald Trump is seemingly not taking such a big chance on is actually Treasury Secretary.
[00:38:51]  So I reported for you last week that I thought Scott Besant was going to get it.
[00:38:55]  He is a hedge fund investor, considered very smart, pretty critical of the Fed, and well respected in investing circles.
[00:39:03]  That seems to be shifting.
[00:39:05]  We got word late last week that Howard Lutnick, who is the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, wanted to be considered for the gig.
[00:39:13]  And Howard was seen as sort of the guy, right, for Bitcoin.
[00:39:17]  And Bitcoin has been on a tear.
[00:39:18]  I mean, I was looking at it either late last night or this morning, and it was upwards of $90,000.
[00:39:24]  Can you imagine?
[00:39:25]  I'm going to check again.
[00:39:26]  We had Michael Saylor on the program here.
[00:39:27]  We're still looking, I think, at upwards of $90,000 for Bitcoin at this moment.
[00:39:32]  I remember back when it was $10.
[00:39:34]  I was telling people about it 12 years ago when it was $10.
[00:39:37]  So trust me on these things.
[00:39:39]  Anyway, well, you know, this is wild, and you can expect. more of a wild ride and maybe if they don't get Howard in there as Treasury Secretary, it's possible it could come down.
[00:39:51]  I think that Bitcoin long term is a very, very interesting thing and one that I actually, we haven't written on that or put it into any of our portfolios over at 76 Research, but I would say that it's part of the Invest in MAGA guide that you've got to be thinking about this.
[00:40:05]  We told you about it when it was $65,000 and said, hey, you might want to think about a little exposure to this, if nothing else, like some kind of sucker's insurance, right?
[00:40:12]  Just put a teeny, teeny little bit, nothing that you can't lose.
[00:40:15]  but put some money in because it might really see some upside.
[00:40:19]  And now as we look at it, $90,865, yeah, it's seeing some upside.
[00:40:24]  I mean, this is $65,000 just a couple of weeks ago.
[00:40:27]  Not to say that it couldn't go back to that, in which case you really need to understand the volatility with this instrument.
[00:40:35]  And there are tax implications, et cetera, that some of the things of which we get into in our most recent issue of 76 report.
[00:40:42]  But I bring this up because I think there's a lot of things in play.
[00:40:45]  And Donald Trump is not just doing what everybody's telling him to do.
[00:40:48]  Elon Musk even getting in on the act and be vague, and there's this real pressure right to to push forward Howard Lutnick as the next Treasury Secretary, but for whatever reason, Donald Trump seems to be holding off.
[00:41:01]  We're now getting word that it could be somebody like Kevin Warsh, who has been sort of a FED governor for a long time and kind of is very sophisticated but checks a lot of boxes, and I think this is one appointment that Trump really takes seriously, as he should.
[00:41:17]  Treasury is super Important, super important.
[00:41:20]  So, we're going to continue to watch that story.
[00:41:22]  We're also going to continue to watch the challenges overseas.
[00:41:27]  You know, Biden over the weekend said that he was okay with Russia, forgive me, Ukraine firing long range missiles into Russia.
[00:41:39]  So that has a few people just a little bit concerned right about now.
[00:41:44]  A lot of people saying, gosh, you know, Donald Trump couldn't have come in soon enough.
[00:41:47]  We heard from Blinken the other day.
[00:41:49]  Remember Blinken saying that he's going to give every single little last dollar to Ukraine between now and when Donald Trump comes in.
[00:42:00]  And that, you know, look, I mean, they're the administration in charge.
[00:42:04]  Unfortunately, Blinken tends to be wrong a lot.
[00:42:08]  He has been wrong sort of historically on a lot of stuff.
[00:42:11]  And so I think it makes people just A little bit nervous.
[00:42:14]  Here's a short that I did.

[00:42:32]  We've obligated just recently and pushed out the door another $8 billion in security assistance for Ukraine.

[00:42:40]  Another almost half a billion dollars just a few weeks ago.
[00:42:43]  And President Biden is committed to making sure that every dollar we have at our disposal will be pushed out the door between now and January 20th.
[00:42:51]  You don't think, maybe just a little, this might be why you guys actually lost the election?
[00:42:55]  Americans are hurting, and all you can talk about is how many billions of dollars you're going to keep on sending to Ukraine, where we're not making any progress.
[00:43:03]  I'm just saying.
[00:43:04]  You might want to think this through before you telegraph it back like that.
[00:43:07]  You know, and that was before we got word that they were going to send the long-range missiles.
[00:43:14]  And so now at this moment, unfortunately, Sweden is really concerned.
[00:43:17]  They're telling kids and schools to prepare for the possibility of war.
[00:43:22]  I mean, I don't like any of this, and I'm sure you don't as well.
[00:43:26]  And I regret that we have not been able to find a peaceful solution, a diplomatic solution to this crisis with Russia.
[00:43:34]  And my hope is that now that Donald Trump is there, that we can actually start to see something better come of this challenge.
[00:43:44]  It's a serious and very, very concerning challenge.
[00:43:49]  But here, take heart, guys, take heart, because you know that things must be okay with the world, right?
