I would like to thank James for asking me to co-host or to host this evening.
It's always my pleasure.
And it's always exciting, sometimes a little bit, I won't say scary, but I don't get on the air as often as I used to, or as often as I would like to for obvious reasons, hearing it all.
But I truly do miss being with the political cesspool audience.
I've said many times that one of the worst things about being a political cesspool co-host is the people with whom we have to deal.
And we have to think about unsavory characters like Al Sharpton and organizations like the SPLC.
And whenever you deal with such people and organizations, you walk away feeling dirty.
You just don't like dealing with them.
Hence the name of the show, the Political Cesspool.
But I've also said that the best thing about being a political cesspool co-host is the people with whom we have, with whom, people with whom we get to deal.
And the political cesspool audience is one of the friendliest, one of the most informed and intelligent and happy audiences that I've ever encountered.
I used to go on speaking trips on behalf of the political cesspool, and the audience is an amazing group of people.
A lot of college degrees, a lot of advanced college degrees out there.
And they are good people who enjoy good conversation and they're well informed.
What could be better?
So anytime I get to make contact with the political cesspool audience, I always consider it a privilege and an honor.
And I hope I'm fulfilling expectations.
I certainly want to do my best for you.
I'd like to take a moment to thank Ken Gibaden for spending the last hour with us.
He's a Cesspool fan favorite and always, always a good conversationalist.

I'd like to tell you about something that James and I were discussing this past week or the week before.
And coming soon, the political cesspool is going to make, we're going to designate a month with a certain designation, if you will.
I hate to use the same words twice, but we're going to make a proclamation designating a certain month as a time for celebration.
And I brought it up to James, and he was very excited about it.
It's something that I've thought about for a long time.
And I think the time is right to bring it up.
So stay with us in the upcoming weeks, and we'll let you know more about it.
It will probably happen in June, maybe not, but just stay tuned and keep in mind that we're going to do something a bit different and something that needs to be done.
We celebrate April last Confederate History Month, and we're going to do something like that, but on another subject.
So be on the lookout for that.

I have an article here from The Week magazine, and it's called The Minority Illusion, The White Minority Illusion, and written by a gentleman named Damon Linker.
I don't know if I'm pronouncing Damon right or Damon or whatever.
He looks to be a white gentleman, so it's Damon Linker.
And it's titled The White Minority Illusion.
And it's a fairly well-written article, but it's kind of a long, fancy way of saying something that we've all known.
And I'll tell you what that is at the end of the article.
It starts off saying, if there's one thing that sustained liberals through the trials of the 2016 election and its aftermath, it's faith that demography will come to their rescue and ensure and to ensure that they eventually prevail against the right-wing racist populism of the Trump-era Republican of the Trump Area Republican Party.
Now, stop for a moment.
The hope of an assured white minority has been sustaining liberals, Democrats, progressives, and other socialists for a lot longer than the 2016 election.
In the 2010 elections, Democrats suffered massive losses, and the Republicans took the House of Representatives with a 63-seat majority, and the Senate increased its majority by, I don't know how many seats, but it was a massive defeat for the Democrat Party in 2010.
Now, in response to this, Tim Wise, and we all know about Tim Wise, I've got three fingers of each hand forming in the air around the name Tim Wise, you know, the echo chamber, so you know what kind of person he is.
But in response to the 2010 elections, Tim Wise penned a macabre piece in which he salivated over the coming demographic shift being examined in the article I'm reading to you.
Wise's piece was so bizarre that he had to edit it post-publication.
Some of the things that he had said were so offensive and so disgusting that he had to go into it after it was published and change it.
One got the impression from reading this article that he would gleefully sell his mother for the opportunity to gloat over the corpse of the white person whose death makes white people 49.9% of the population.
So the hope of a white minority has been held by racists of color has been around for a very long time.
And by the way, folks, I've asked Sam Bushman to join in this hour with me.
So Sam, feel free to jump in anytime you feel the desire to.
All right, going back to the article.
I'm here, Winston, and I'll be glad to do exactly that.
By the way, it's kind of interesting how hate-filled that message really is, isn't it?
The one from Tim Wise?
Yeah.
Oh, it is dripping with venom and toxicity.
And it just solidifies something that we on Assessable have been saying for decades that the hatred, that the toxicity, the corrosiveness, and all the hatred in this country is coming from the left.
It's not coming from the right.
And Tim Wise made that abundantly clear.
Do you remember reading that article?
Yes, it's out of control.
And it just goes to show that it's all the way the mainstream press spins it to where they have this anger towards us, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
It goes on and on, where they just frame us with these manipulated viewpoints of who we are, but they let the liberal extreme left off the hook every time their hate-filled messages just spew like venom and vitriol.
It's ignored or justified or the ends justifies the means or, well, it's only a payback time or and it's dismissed at every turn.
You know, Sam, we can call them hypocrites all we want.
And they don't care about that because they don't care about being consistent.
They don't care about being decent.
They don't care about being right.
They don't care about being, as I said, decent.
They care about one thing, and that is getting power and holding on to it.
And if they have to lie about it, if they have to resort to a filthy version of Emersonian inconsistency, they'll do it.

The thing is, is they not only have appealing activities, they have appealing people out there, too.
You know, you see beer commercials and it's done with natural water and it's cold brewed or heat pasteurized and all that kind of stuff.
They make it sound more like a health food almost, but they never show the hangovers or alcoholism or anything like that.
And then in reality, you're happy and then you're vomiting in the bathroom and then you're waking up sick the next morning with a really bad headache.
Any person that says that beer is married for recreation or use is stupid because it's a form of alcohol.
They just want your money.
It's the people that sell the product that are getting the most out of it, not the people that use it.
That's exactly what they're doing.
They're going to all sell our beer and it doesn't matter what it takes to sell it.
No, they're not honest messages.
They don't show the flip side of it, the results of alcohol.

Welcome back, my friends.
Welcome back to tonight's edition of the Political Support Radio Program.
I'm Winston Smith, and I'm on with Sam Bushman.
And we're talking about an article.
We're actually talking about two articles.
We mentioned one earlier by Tim Wise that he penned in 2010 in response to the Republican takeover of the House and Senate.
And as I said, folks, it is macabre.
This is a descent into madness.
And I want to give you the title of that article.
It's called An Open Letter to the White Right on the Occasion of Your Recent Successful Temper Tantrum.
Again, it's called An Open Letter to the White Right on the Occasion of Your Recent Successful Temper Tantrum.
If you just do a search for Tim Wise and say an open letter to the White Right, it'll probably take you there.
You need to read it because you need to see what this kind of hatred does to a mind.
Just imagine, Winston, if I were to write an open letter to the Black liberal extreme left, what would happen?
Well, frankly, that's a letter I'd like to read, but you'd probably be responsible.
You'd probably be responsible for a mass epidemic of people setting their hair on fire, running through the streets screaming.
It probably looked like the aftermath of the Trump inauguration.
And I might have to say something like an open letter to the violent antifa extreme Black Lives Matter, you know, left.
I'd have to include all kinds of hate groups, Black power, Black Rising, Antifa.
I mean, I could create all kinds of Black power, Black Panthers to the left, because there's a lot of Black people that agree with us.
In fact, I think many, many, many Black people, especially those who are educated, agree with us more than they disagree with us, believe it or not.
Oh, I do believe it.
I've witnessed it.
All right, getting back to the article.
That assumption, and by the way, we're talking about the assumption that there's going to be a white minority within 40 years.
In other words, white people will no longer be the majority.
That assumption, which originated with the emerging Democratic majority thesis of the early 2000s, has animated a thousand tweets and undergirded an untold number of think pieces over the past year and a half.
The most recent is Ezra Klein's erudite reckoning.
I just love that word erudite with just how much President Trump's toxic racism and xenophobia diverges from the American norm.
Now stop right there, folks.
President Trump's toxic racism and xenophobia.
For nearly two years, the mainstream media, liberals, Democrats, progressives, and other socialists and racists of color have been spewing the lie of Dur Trumpster's racism and xenophobia and his hatred of immigrants.
I don't know how they arrive at that.
Trump is married to an immigrant.
So I don't know where they get that.
Returning to the article.
Client's conclusion from a perusal of American history is not much.
The United States has never been especially liberal or democratic or non-whites, and Trump represents the last gasp of those in American life who would like to keep it that way.
Let me go down a little further.
I don't want to read the entire article.
Let's see.
It's likely to be their last gasp because, as Klein writes, if current demographic projections hold, there will be a majority-minority nation in less than 30 years.
Once that happens, the country's formerly white majority will have no choice but to reconcile itself to a changed demographic reality.
And that will hopefully allow historians of the future to look back at our moment to conclude that what seemed like a potentially dire threat to liberal democracy in America during the Trump administration was merely the turbulence that has always accompanied racial progress in this country.
So, departing from the article here, liberals, Democrats, progressives, and other socialists and races of color comfort themselves with the notion that white people and the minority will usher in a golden age of goodness and education and productivity and philosophy and oldiwakanda.
You know what I'm talking about?
That's what they think a white man, having a white minority in this country will bring them.
They think that it will be a panacea for all their problems.
I'm often asked why I'm angry and fearful at the inevitability of being in the minority.
And I reply every time that I'm neither angry nor fearful.
And then I ask the person who asked me that why they're so happy about it.
And make no mistake about it, they are happy about it, but they will never tell me why they're happy about it.
They always manage some spiel about America reaching its promise as a melting pot, which it was never supposed to be, but they will never admit what we all know the truth, that they will feel that they have power over white people.
Now, here's what I find interesting as well, Winston.
What is a melting pot?
Let's talk about that for a second.
What's a melting pot?
I don't really know what it is.
I mean, I guess you melt metal in it, or is there something out there?
Well, the idea is, the idea is that all of our separations go away and we become this great, you know, mass of togetherness, of consolidation.
The problem that I have with that is, you know what?
We used to be a melting pot.
When people would come over from different cultures, the Europeans immigrated to America.
They all learned English.
They rejected the notions of their old country in terms of politics.
They embraced the new American ideal, the separation of powers, the principles of God, family, and country.
They kept their culture, which is fine, but they became Americans and they said, listen, I don't want to be a European American.
I don't want to be a, I want to be an American American.
I'll learn the language.
I'll learn their ways.
I'll learn their, and sure, I can have my own culture and heritage.
That's fine, but I'm going to become an American.
And they immigrated and they did those things.
They learned English.
They became Americans through and through.
Now what we've got is all these groups that move to America, they do so many times illegally.
That's a problem.
They don't try to learn English.
What they do is try to create these separatist enclaves in America.
That's not even a melting pot, even if you buy the lie of a melting pot in the first place.
You're absolutely right.
My wife's parents, my wife's family immigrated in the early part of the 1900s from Poland and Ukraine.
And they did exactly as you said.
They decided to become Americans.
Yes, they went into their enclaves, but they still made up their minds that they were going to become Americans.
were going to work, they were going to learn the language, they were going to adopt our customs, celebrate our holidays, and they had an idea of what an American was.
Nowadays, it's verboten to have an idea of what an American is.
If it's anything other than, you know, a third wave feminist or a Black Lives Matter thug, or if it's a, you know, any of the favorite groups, unless you're a flaming sodomite, you know, if you have any notion of being an American other than those things, then you might as well be as archaic as, you know, as a mastodon bones.
And any item that identified an American for what we were, anything to do with God, anything to do with family, anything to do with country, anything to do with English, anything to do with the separation of powers and the rule of law, every identifying factor that could create a melting pot under an American ideal, they reject every single one of those.
They do.
And that's played out everywhere in society, never more so than in the colleges where students, you know, racist of color students, are demanding safe spaces where they can go and talk about what they can say the things that they want to say.
Now, you know, they get on these college campuses and they say the most vile things and they get plenty of FaceTime on cameras and then on microphones and they say terrible things about the country.
They say vile, hateful things about white people.
Now, if they get their safe space where they can say what they want to say, what are they going to say that's worse?
I've heard of the group, stay with us.

Winston Smith here with Sam Bushman on the political cesspool for this evening.
We are talking about an article that's discussing the alleged and hoped-for white minority coming in 30 years or so.
Now, you made a point about what Donald Trump is being, what they are saying about Donald Trump.
He responded to that on the campaign trail.
Winston, we have a soundbite to kind of solidify what you were saying.
Here's Donald Trump.
Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist, a xenophobe, and morally deformed.
They will attack you.
They will slander you.
They will seek to destroy your career and your family.
They will seek to destroy everything about you, including your reputation.
They will lie, lie, lie.
And then again, they will do worse than that.
They will do whatever's necessary.
The Clintons are criminals.
Remember that.
They're criminals.
There you go, Winston.
That is amazing.
But he got it just right.
He understood the zeitgeist exactly.
And he still understands it.
And now he's living it.
He is the target of everything that he mentioned.
I can't recall in my 56 years any president ever enduring the kinds of obloquy and falsehood and slander and libel that Donald Trump has.
And I'm not even really a Trump guy, but I am.
I will always be for a guy who has the kinds of enemies that he has.
All right, going back to the article.
I won't go through the whole thing, but suffice to say that this author sees that the so-called white minority that is expected may not yield the fruits that liberals hope for because their hope assumes that all non-whites are going to vote liberal.
They're going to vote for the Democrat Party.
And that is not what trends are showing.
Now, the author goes on to say about his doubts for this white minority.
He says, unless, that is, liberals can convince the non-white members of their current electoral coalition to begin thinking of themselves first and foremost as people of color united by their antipathy to and in their oppression by white America.
If racism is defined in part by the tendency of whites to view anyone but themselves as non-white, then this would be a form of counter racism in which non-whites positively affirm as a politically potent identity what was once treated as a form of stigma.
Now, what that means is that if liberals are successful in convincing non-whites that they are indeed united, if not by ethnicity, you know, Asians are not going to be Hispanics, Hispanics are not going to be black.
If they can't be united that way, they can at least be united in the notion that they are all suffering oppression in white America.
Now, that line, unless that is, liberals can convince the non-white members of the current electoral coalition to begin thinking of themselves first and foremost as people of color, united by antipathy to and oppression by white America.
That line fascinates me.
Back in 2011, a man named Dan Adler, he was a former Disney executive running for Congress in Los Angeles, put out a campaign ad in which he's giving his spiel and he walks in front of a laundromat.
And remember, folks, this is in 2011.
A Korean lady screams out, I have issues, Medicare, I'm Korean.
And this candidate, Adler, laughs and he says, my wife is Korean too.
And the Korean lady says, you're Jewish.
And Adler says, my family is Jewish.
And the lady said, we minorities should stick together.
While she's saying that, she's whirling her finger around at all the other non-whites there.
We minorities should stick together.
I don't think that liberals, Democrats, progressives, other socialists, and racists of color aren't trying to convince non-whites to band together against white people because they've been doing it for a very long time.
The author goes on to say, the doubling down on identity politics among liberals since Donald Trump's election follows from something like this ambition to unify non-whites against the Republican Party in favor of Democrats.
He goes on to say, at the time, at the same time, the less growing emphasis on intersectionality, which sows division instead of unity by highlighting the distinctive, irreducible grievances suffered by the members of ever-narrowing demographic subcategories, adds a heavy dose of self-contradiction to the project.
Now, stop for a moment.
Liberals and socialists and races of color are about nothing but grievances.
They're about nothing about grinding axes.
When have they ever found something to be happy about?
When have they ever said, we've accomplished something without saying in the next breath, but there's still much work to be done.
They are all about whining and whinging and finding problems and creating problems and setting them up.
And to prove your point, to prove your point, anybody that finds a solution, anybody that decides to bury the racism card, anybody who decides to stand on principle gets attacked.
You look at Jesse Lee Peterson who says, hey, you know what?
Black people are killing each other in the streets and they've got to stop.
They've got to have fathers in the home.
They've got to turn to God.
Okay, that's what Jesse Lee Peterson says, and there's no such thing as racism.
They attack him big time.
Kanye West comes out and says, hey, you know what?
I don't believe in a lot of this racism stuff.
The white man's never kept me down.
And now they attack Kanye West like the enemy.
Your point that they'll never be satisfied is correct, even when we see that life is better for black Americans, more so than at any time for the black people in their history.
They've got better opportunities in America now than they've ever had in the history of the world.
And they're still not satisfied.
And they never will be because their whole shtick is to divide, to destroy, to down, to create vitriol and hatred and unify against whites and against the American ideal.
And you see it everywhere.
Anybody who tries to get off the quote plantation, like Kanye West, and say, hey, that doesn't apply to me, and it shouldn't apply to you, my black brother, then they literally attack him relentlessly, even though it's abundantly true.
They'll never go along because then they don't have a stick.
Then their divide and conquer tactic to destroy America fades into oblivion.
These people don't really have a vested interest in bringing about the results they desire.
If they really did bring about, you know, the understanding that they wanted, they brought out, if they got everything they wanted, they'd be out of jobs if you call that a job.
It reminds me of the cancer lobby or something like that, where they raise money to get rid of cancer.
You think they're ever going to get rid of cancer with the big money they bring in?
Just imagine them coming back and saying, we solved cancer.
It's fixed now.
We got the cure.
Please don't send your cancer funding anymore.
We don't need it.
Thank you.
That reminds me of an incident or an event in which that actually happened.
The problem was solved and the program was ended.
It happened in the aftermath of World War II, Sam.
General Marshall realized that Europe was in ruins.
And he also realized that communism thrives.
Communism takes root when people are destitute, when people are desperate, when people are hungry, when people are in a bad way.
That's where communism gets its foothold.
And he realized that the allies needed to start rebuilding Europe and doing it fast.
So he developed what became known as the Marshall Plan.
And we began pumping gazillions of dollars into Europe.
We began sending equipment, you know, tractors and machinery.
We began rebuilding Europe in order to deny the communist menace a foothold.
And it worked.
And when it was realized that it worked, the program ceased.
What do you think of that?
That's a surprising turn of events.
Nine times out of ten, though, you'll never see it.
Usually money drives the operation, though.
Whenever big money is into something, fame and fortune and prosperity, you find that they're not going to change the game for whatever that purpose is, whether let's say it's cancer research.
They're not going to chop off the spigot to cancer research.
They're not going to solve it tomorrow.
Even if they could, they wouldn't bring it to your attention.
They'd never chop off that spigot of money.
And so in this case, it's true, you're correct on the facts, but in this case, it was to spend a bunch of money.
And it did work.
And they did stop the program.
I would submit it's a little different than this one, though.
Hey, how are you going to have the Martin Luther King Jr.'s who are a complete fraud?
Or the modern-day Jesse Jacksons or some of these people, Jeremiah Wright's or Barack Obama's.
Hey, how are they going to have their stick and heavenly validity if we realize that there's not really racism in America like they claim?

Getting the kids to school, cleaning the house, doing the laundry.
It seems that the work routine as a stay-at-home mom is never ending.
And even though I'm a prime grocery shopper in our family of four, I simply don't have time to scrutinize all the labels on the countless food products I buy.
Oh, sure, I've noticed all the latest certification seals, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free.
It definitely seems to be the latest craze.
But it was only recently that kosher certification seals caught my attention.
You see, my husband had me download an app called Kosher Certify, and it shed light on a century-old certification industry that slipped under the radar screen from the majority of our public.
I also noticed a question mark at the end of the app name.
And that makes great sense as there's far more questions regarding this industry than answers.
In fact, the developers refer to this as the kosher question.

It's kind of interesting how all these things coalesce.
And when you study history, oftentimes it repeats itself.
One of the great things to learn to do is follow the money.
You learn a lot when you do that.
One thing I've learned in my years working inside the Beltway is that when a program is begun, yes, it has its mission statement, but the mission statement does not include the prime directive, if you will.
And that prime directive is continued existence.
If there is an agency that is or a program established to alleviate a problem, it will make sure that that problem continues so that the people administering that program can stay in their job.
When a government program comes along, very seldom does it ever go away.
All right.
Well, this article that I've been reading to you, it ends by not holding out much hope for the white minority producing a Democrat blue wave, if you will.
But essentially, it's an admission that the identity politics that have gripped the Democrat Party is every bit as racist as the alleged racism of white people.
Yes, it's hypocritical, but as I said earlier, Democrats, liberals, socialists, racist of color, they are not interested in being honorable.
They're not interested in being consistent.
They're interested in getting and keeping power.
And were it not for double standards, today's Democrats would have no standards at all.

Well, Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood, primarily created to really rid our society of black people in the first place, and the abortion rate tied to the inner cities as a result in modern-day Planned Parenthood is proof of your point.
You know, Sam, what interests me about Planned Parenthood and how they prey upon the Black community, it is well known that they do that.
It's been in the news.
Everybody knows that in Black communities, there are always Planned Parenthood clinics.
You don't see them in white communities.
Why is it that Blacks don't rise up against that?
Why aren't Blacks demanding that federal funding for Planned Parenthood stop?
I don't understand that.
Because they don't understand the history and they don't know the real secret evil psychotic agenda that has been perpetrated on them via the mainstream press and via some of these true racist organizations.
