You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, folks, it's been a remarkable month with remarkable guests, and we've got one more guest for you in the month of January.
And man, what a bio she has.
One of our oldest returning guests, I mean, she's been coming on the show since literally day one, year one.
Virginia Dean Abernathy is professor emeritus of psychiatry and anthropology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
She is the author of Population Politics, The Vanishing American Dream, and other books.
She publishes in both scholarly journals and popular media, and was formerly editor-in-chief of Population and Environment.
She holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University, an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and a BA from Wellesley College.
Dr. Abernathy taught at Harvard University before joining the Vanderbilt University Medical School faculty in 1975.
She's an active fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and for 20 years, she served on the boards of Population Environment Balance and Carrying Capacity Network, both 501c3 organizations.
If that bio sounds familiar, well, it could be because you've listened to her many appearances on this show over the years, or because perhaps you were with us in Memphis for that magical weekend in October where she was one of our featured and most well-received speakers.
Virginia, great to have you back.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year to you, James, and thank you so much for that beautiful introduction.
Hopefully a worthy introduction for a very beautiful woman, inside and out.
And I guess we can still say Happy New Year, even though it's the end of January, but it is still the first month.
You know, a lot of people winter in like South Florida.
And when I sent Virginia an email earlier this week, I didn't know if she would be able to appear tonight because a lot of times she's in Australia.
But no, Virginia doesn't winter in South Florida.
She's wintering essentially Canada.
She's up on the eastern Washington, Idaho state line, and you got a lot of snow.
Interesting choice to do.
It's got snow today, James.
And I'm so glad that the phone lines aren't down, weighted down with it.
But we're right on the Canadian border, and we're right on the Idaho border, just in northeastern Washington.
How about that?
What made you decide?
This is just purely off the beaten path.
It has nothing to do with your appearance, but I got to know to satisfy my own curiosity.
Why winter up there?
I guess you wanted to have a real winter instead of this.
I have family here.
And also, we all searched for a place that didn't have too many people.
I heard that.
Well, I tell you, there's something about a sure enough winter.
Now, we did get a lot of snow and ice and some cold temperatures, as you probably heard of, down here in Tennessee recently.
But to go to a place where it actually snows in the winter, that would probably be a novelty for us Southerners.
But anyway, we've got more pressing affairs of state to discuss with our esteemed guest tonight.
Have you been watching from your perch up in the Northwest what's going on in Washington with regards to the immigration debate?
Of course, immigration is your signature issue at your bailiwick.
What do you make of the current proposals and posturing, etc.?
It's a very complex proposal that President Trump has put on the table.
It's got lots of moving parts, and there's something for everybody to hate.
And maybe that's the genius of being a good negotiator.
That is one of the most simple but interesting analysis I've heard yet about it.
But that is the topic, of course, you're with us to discuss tonight.
The current immigration proposals, how you think it'll all pan out with regards to DACA, to amnesty, the wall, et cetera.
Of course, anybody can have an opinion.
But this is, of course, your field of expertise, but nobody can predict what's going to happen in Washington.
But what would you imagine might occur by the time this is all said and done?
And of course, Trump's got his State of the Union, which I imagine next week will feature heavily on this issue.
I think you're very right about Trump talking about immigration proposal in the State of the Union message.
In the meantime, what he's put on the table, and many, many points are left unaddressed, but he's put on the table four main points, which I'm sure you are very familiar with, but I'll just run through them quickly.
The main thing he gives to the Democrat open borders crowd is 1.8 illegal aliens, including those 800,000 identified as DACA.
And they were brought here as children to have, and they, according to his offer to Democrats, would have a preferred path to citizenship in 10 to 12 years.
That would violate all notions of rule of law because they came here illegally.
Now, on the things he offers to more conservative people who want to limit the number of immigrants in order to preserve our country and its culture and its open spaces and good environment and economy, he is insisting on $25 billion in a trust fund for the wall.
It's important that he would call that $25 billion a trust fund because that means the funds would be there.
Quite different from Chuck Schumer's little crybaby Chuck Schumer's proposal, which was an authorization for a trust, for a wall.
And as you know, an authorization by Congress means absolutely nothing because they haven't yet appropriated the funds.
Well, Trump would nail this down with $25 billion put into a trust fund for a wall.
The other thing Trump would put in the proposal, he has put in the proposal, is he would end chain migration.
The trouble with that is we don't know exactly the details of that yet.
If it included clearing up the backlog of people who have applied to come because they have a relative here already, it could include an additional seven to ten million people.
So we would have to know exactly what he means by ending chain migration.
And then he says end the lottery system, that's simple.
And there's several things that he's entirely left out, which are important to people who want secure borders, and that is a system called e-Verify.
He's left out e-verify, which would require employers to always check with the social security system that the social security number being presented by the prospective employee is a real one and not just a stolen social security number.
So those are things.
Four things on the table and a few things left out that would be important to include if we make a deal.
All right, so you're saying those are the four primary tenets or points of interest that we would want to present to our listening audience tonight with regards to the deal that is on the table.
And of course, all of this is you have all of the twists and turns in this drama with the drama.
With the comments he made about Haitians and Africans, and there was a deal.
It looked like it was going to be a very bad, it was at least had the elements to be a very bad deal, and then that got scuttled with his comments.
And maybe he did that on purpose.
Who knows?
But we got to take a break.
Virginia has set the table quite expertly, as you would expect from her.
And we're going to hypothesize and maybe make some predictions and, in fact, find out what the perfect deal would look like and a worst-case deal would look like.
And we'll get her thoughts on all of that.
She's back with us for one more segment right after this.
Scott Bradley here.
Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.
Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues.
Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face.
And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.
The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution.
My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth.

Okay, girls, about finished with your lesson on money?
Daddy, what is a buy-sell spread for gold coins?
Well, when you sell a gold coin to a coin shop that's worth, say, $1,200, you don't actually get $1,200.
But don't worry, we're members of UPMA now, so we don't have to worry about that.
Daddy, why somebody seals that gold?
We don't have any gold at the house.
It's stored safely in the UPMA vault, securely and insured.
But the SP 500 outperformed gold.
Daddy, gold is a bad investment.
Some people do think of it that way, but actually, gold is money.
And as members of the United Precious Metals Association, we can use our gold at any store, just like a credit card.
Or I can ask them to drop it right into Mommy and Daddy's bank account because we're a UPMA member family.

And now back to tonight's show.
All right, folks, we got one more segment with the one and only Dr. Virginia Abernethy, who is interrupting her winter vacation to join us tonight.
And I know you thank her for that and appreciate her for doing that, just as I do.
And we're talking with her about her signature issue.
And it would appear as though for better or worse or indifference, there is going to be a move made on immigration and a pretty substantial one within the very short term near future.
So with the current deal, you say, well, the perfect deal would be no amnesty, no DACA.
Don't award the lawbreakers, send them home and build the wall.
Now, that would be, I think, the fundamental tenets of Edwards Abernethy plan, perhaps.
But let's just say that's not the way it works in Washington when you have to deal with the Democrats.
Okay.
Well, then you say, well, we'll give the DACA kids, or they're not kids anymore, but whoever we're calling DACA, they can stay, but the wall gets funded.
Well, of course, that would be a moot point if Trump's campaign promise had ever been serious, and that would be that Mexico would pay for the wall.
If Mexico is paying for the wall, why do we have to use the DACA people as bargaining chips in order to get the wall funded?
And is it really going to be a wall like we've seen with these prototypes?
It's going to be a chain-linked fence.
I mean, that's all up for interpretation as well.
So I guess that's basically why you have these bargaining chips being passed back and forth.
But all we can do is speculate, Virginia, because we're not part of the administration and we're not in Congress, and so we don't have any decision-making to be done on this as it will eventually be hammered out.
But what does your gut tell you this deal will look like once it's all said and done?
Well, first I want to comment on who's going to pay for the wall.
Let's remember these illegal aliens who come here, and many of them do work in the underground market and for a lot of restaurants that you probably patronize, and maybe I do too, they earn money and they send it back to Mexico, and that's called a remittance.
And remittances in some years have run as high as $45 billion a year.
And if there are fewer illegal aliens working here, or maybe hopefully in your dreams, none, that's much less U.S. dollars flowing down to Mexico as remittances.
So in that back way, Mexico would be paying for the wall because they wouldn't be getting those remittances into their economy.
So I don't think Trump was just all wet when he said Mexico will pay for the wall.
If the remittances dry up, they will be paying for the wall.
So now I'll have to do something we have to talk about.
Fair enough.
Okay, with about the five minutes we have remaining, I would just ask you this.
And this gets into speculation, and of course, we all go out on a limb when we do that, but it does make for interesting talk radio anyway.
A conclusion to this issue will probably be reached at some point soon.
The question was, what does your gut tell you this deal will look like after it is presented to the American people and ratified?
There are an awful lot of allies that we have in Congress.
And what I would hope, and I have no idea what it will be, but what I would hope is that there's some very heavy chains put on this ending of chain migration.
How many people in the backlog, and as I said, that's 7 to 10 million people in the backlog who have already applied to come here because of family relationships.
How many of those in the backlog would be accommodated?
That's one thing that needs to be negotiated, and it's a big, big issue.
Then how will we treat E-Verify, which is not even in the program yet?
And how about these illegal aliens?
Would that be actually capped at the 1.8 illegal aliens that Trump proposes to throw into that DACA system?
Or could many more come out of the woodwork and try to get into the program under the radar?
Because I know that when we did amnesty in 1987, it was expected to be $1.5 million, and it turned into $3 million.
So would this $1.8 million turn into $4 million?
There are a lot of questions.
And I'm counting on some pretty strong advocates in Congress, the Freedom Caucus, for example, to hold up our end of the deal.
Well, I'll tell you what, once it's all said and done, I'd love to have you back for post-mortem.
Hopefully it'll be an appearance in which we can celebrate some forward progress on law and order and stemming the tide of.
Yes, James, law and order.
That's what is the American system.
And if we don't, and really, it's already a departure from law and order when we allow illegal aliens to jump in front of the line and get a path to citizenship without first going back to their country.
Well, of course, and that should be common sense, but obviously the reason the Democrats want these people in here, you know, my pastor was saying this to me yesterday.
If the Democrats were sincere about this, about really wanting these people here, say, okay, we'll give them all amnesty, but they can't vote for 20 years and see if they take the deal.
The Democrats know that each of these people is an automatic vote either immediately or when they become a voting age for their party.
And that's just the bottom line to it.
So I guess you would say, best case scenario, no DACA.
They all go home.
The wall gets built.
We end chain migration.
We don't take any more immigrants, legal or otherwise, really.
I mean, at this point, I'm going to add one thing.
There's data out that shows that legal immigration is costing U.S. taxpayers $330 million a year after subtracting all the taxes that immigrants pay.
So that's a net $330 billion annually that U.S. taxpayers, federal, pay for legal immigrants.
So we have got to cut this, end this chain migration, because more than half of those people come here and they go on our welfare programs, our entitlement programs.
Yeah, legal.
Any third world immigration, legal or illegal, we got to cut it off.
Now, that's the dream scenario.
Of course, a nightmare scenario, it wouldn't be hard to imagine that.
I mean, we pretty much know what that entails.
Virginia, final word to you.
We have about a minute remaining.
Final word to you on this topic.
You can take it in any direction you want.
Give us some good websites to go to.
Okay, I think Trump is just brilliant to have put this deal on the table.
If the Democrats reject it, that will tell the DACA people that they are really not the top of the Democrat agenda.
The top of the Democrat agenda is to bring in more and more and more third world immigrants who will be dependent on entitlement programs and are guaranteed to vote Democratic.
We'll see how it all plays out in what I expect will be a matter of days, if not a couple of weeks.
And until then, you've worked for a number of organizations that are on the cutting edge of putting Americans first with regards to immigration.
Tell us what those websites are and how people come together.
Very important.
Thank you for asking.
It's population-environment.org, O-R-G.
And the other one that sponsored this John Williams Shadow Stat study, so important, is carryingcapacity.org.
Carrying capacity is dot org.
Okay, population and environment balance and carrying capacity.
People didn't jot down the URLs if they're driving in their cars or whatever.
You can just Google those two internet.
And it's both of them.org.
O-R-G, organization.
All right.
Well, you heard it there from the doctor herself.
My favorite Harvard Vanderbilt product, Dr. Virginia Aberdathy.
I always like talking to you.
Thank you so much.
We love you too.
Enjoy the rest of your trip, and we'll see you back here in Tennessee.
Virginia Abernathy, everybody.

The first time I ever truly took a drink was the summer before my freshman year of high school.
When I was 12, I went to a party and everybody was drinking, and so I just grabbed me a beer and started drinking.
The first time I drank, you know, it was fun.
Playing the game, see if we can do it without getting caught.
But I didn't know that I was going to want it more.
I wasn't drinking beer.
It took too long to get drunk and I didn't like the taste very well.
You know, it got to the point where I was drinking so much, I was getting bored with the feeling of, I was getting bored with the price.
That's all that goes through your head is when am I going to get wasted again?
You know, I started in slowly, you know, your pot.
Then you just slowly move up the scale.
It's the typical story of a drug user.
Beer's the easiest thing for teenagers to get, and so they take one beer, which is like your first step.

Okay.
I was talking to someone a few days ago, earlier this week, a couple of days ago, I guess you could say, and he was talking about how fast the three hours goes by when he's listening to the show.
And I thought, I'm glad to hear that.
I'm glad to know that it goes by as fast for you as it does for me.
Certainly it goes by fast when you're, I guess you could say on stage.
I mean, this isn't a performance in front of an audience, at least not tonight.
I mean, we've done that before, but you know, we're in the studio, but it is live.
And so it goes by quickly.
I mean, you're constantly moving.
There's moving parts during the commercial breaks.
Everything's fluid.
And you've got the guest and things change.
You might want to work in another topic very quickly.
And you've got to be on your feet.
You got to be nimble.
And it goes by very fast.
When you're talking and you're producing the show and you're hosting and all of that, it's a fast three hours.
And then here we are again, almost at the end of another one.
And I hope that you enjoy that experience as much as we do.
And it goes by as quickly.
If something goes by fast, it means you're enjoying it.
There's never been something that went by mercilessly slowly that I can say I particularly enjoyed.
Well, here was something I wasn't going to talk about tonight until I saw it on my newsfeed earlier today.
And it just hit all the wrong buttons.
And so I figured, well, we'll shuffle something around.
We'll free up some time so I can talk about this.
It was just too much.
I mean, it is just too much.
God forgive me.
God help me for feeling this way.
But I really do want just about every establishment reporter.
God help me.
I'm asking.
I know this isn't right to feel this.
I want them to go to hell.
I want them to burn in hell.
I do.
I ask forgiveness for that from my Savior, not from any man, but from God.
I don't think it's right to feel that way, but I do feel that way, and I have to be frank about that.
And this is another reason why it's just right here.
So I put this out on Twitter today.
I said, hold on.
I said, hold on.
The media, remember the media when we were talking about the Roy Moore thing, how you had this media lynching of Roy Moore, and they were telling us how bad it was.
What a scandal.
How evil and immoral Roy Moore was to have allegedly, allegedly, to have dated teenage girls while he was in his 30s.
But then I see today, all over the news, on the celebrity gossip news, even some mainstream news.
Here's this story.
What a wonderful story.
It's cute celebrity hookup gossip when a Hollywood actor admits.
So in the case of Roy Moore, he was immoral and evil and not worthy of your consideration for the United States Senate because he was alleged to have dated teenage girls when he was in his 30s.
He denied it across the board, but it was alleged.
But now we have this Hollywood actor.
He's not a real serious actor, but he's been a lot of A-list films.
His name is Dane Cook.
Now he admits to dating, currently, right now, not just dating, but, you know, a teenage girl while he's in his 40s.
So let me get this straight.
Roy Moore's bad.
He was in his 30s and they were teens.
And this guy's 45, and he's dating a girl in her teens, but he's good.
Okay, I got it, I think.
You know, the only consistency is, of course, that Roy Moore was a white southern Christian who was running a campaign to curtail abortion and to put America first on immigration, restore God to the public square.
So that's why he was bad, of course.
We all know that.
Now, if this guy, Dane Cook, this actor, 45-year-old dating a 19-year-old girl, if he was to even run for Senate, hell, he could run for Roy Moore's, the seat Roy Moore was running for.
And I guarantee you, this would never come up.
This would be, well, it might come up like it's coming up now, but it'd be like a great thing.
Oh, great.
He found, you know, this, oh, how cute.
What a cute couple.
And as long as he was for, you know, sodomy and anti-white measures and enforced integration and all.
If he's for everything that the regime is for, not a problem.
But of course, that's the media at play here.
Now, I'm not going to be a hypocrite.
That's what everybody else in the media is, but I'm not going to be that.
But I do want to read you this story real quick.
It's in People Magazine, what you know, People Magazine.
Dane Cook, 45, dating 19-year-old singer Kelsey Taylor.
I've never heard of her, but she looks pretty good.
I'm looking at a picture of her right now.
The leading lady.
See how they phrase this?
Did they call Roy Moore's leading lady in like a term of endearment over affection?
No.
No, it was like abuse.
It was rape.
It was assault.
But here, the leading lady in Dane Cook's life is a much younger singer.
Yeah, I guess you could say that.
Cook, 45, and 19-year-old girlfriend Kelsey Taylor have been quietly dating for the last year, quietly in real life, at least.
On social media, the couple has been sharing their relationship on Instagram, often documenting their trips and special moments together, including Taylor's recent 19th birthday.
So they've been dating at least since she was 18, maybe longer than that.
And they're in Maui right now in Hawaii.
And I got the pictures here on this People Magazine article.
They're doing all these things that couples do.
And it talks a little bit about some movies he's been in and some songs that she's done.
Anyway, so he's been dating her since she was at least 18 that we know of.
He's been dating her over a year and she just turned 19.
I don't know.
You do the math on that.
So again, Roy Moore bad.
Dane Cook, oh, wow, isn't that cute?
And All of the girls in the media's lynching of Roy Moore, at least if I'm remembering this correctly, I think all of them were older than the age of consent in Alabama, except for that one liar who forged the yearbook autograph.
But except for her, I think everybody else was over the age of consent.
So what gives, you know, the great travesty in all of this, of course, is the media's double standard in the coverage.
I defended Roy Moore even under the assumption that the accusations were true, especially in the South in the 1950s, in the early 60s, a 30-year-old man, an 18, 19-year-old girl, 17-year-old girl.
That's not a big deal to me.
And I'm not bashing this actor and this singer either, Dane Cook, 45, and the 19-year-old girl he's dating.
More power to him.
I mean, look, if I was 45 and not married, who do you think I would go for?
Do you think I would be looking, man?
I hope I can find a 42-year-old woman with three kids that I can raise that aren't mine?
No, I wouldn't.
I don't know if I would go as young as 19.
I would probably go mid-20s, early 30s.
That's what I would go for.
Why wouldn't I?
I want somebody who could bear children.
I want a young, beautiful woman.
I don't want a middle-aged woman if you have the opportunity.
Now, of course, it's much different when you're married.
You're married, and that's different, and that doesn't even come into play.
But, of course, you're going to want, that's human nature.
You want the best, the most attractive that you can get.
And so I don't have a problem with this guy, 45-year-old dating the 19-year-old singer.
If she's mature, and some people mature faster, there are some women who, well, a lot like feminists, like they never mature.
They're babies from the day they come home from the hospital all the way until they die.
They're babies, and they have a childlike mentality.
But there are some people who, and my wife was one of them.
My wife, I was in my early 20s, and she was in her mid-teens when we first met.
But she was very mature.
So this 19-year-old singer may have a lot more maturity than a 60-year-old woman if she's a liberal.
I don't know.
And these people may very well be liberals, but they might not be like the, they may be like social liberals where they say all the right things.
But who knows?
I'm just saying it's possible that she's more mature than her age.
19 does sound a little young.
But no big deal here.
No big deal in Roy Moore, but I couldn't help.
I just had to get one more dig in because that just really, really, really, I mean, we spent a lot of time covering Roy Moore in the last few weeks of last year.
And I saw this not two months after his defeat and all that hell they gave him for the age difference.
And then here's the exact same thing.
Actually, this is actually a much wider age difference than even Roy Moore was supposedly engaging in.
And this is like cute and wonderful.
And, oh, I bet that's a hot night, you know, with these two.
No.
But it was a different thing altogether, of course, with our guy.
But that's the media for you.
That's the media for you.
They're evil.
They are corrupt.
I don't have to wish them to help because they're going to go there unless there's some miraculous conversion in their lives.
That's where people like that go.
But it just made me once again all the more honored to be able to have a hand in a show that has reached such acclaim.
Okay, our name is mud with the people who do evil.
I want the enemies of my people and my God to oppose me.
I don't want to curry favor with their kids.
I want to curry favor with my people.
And it makes me just all the more, it makes me relish all the more the opportunity that we have here to bring to you this radio program every week.

To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
Well, one thing that we meant to do more of last week during the last segment of the show was promote more of what you're going to be hearing immediately following the political cesspool live here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
After we go off the air, the party's just starting on Red42, Red42.org.
That is, of course, the show now anchored by and hosted by Scoop Stanton and Jim Lancia.
Last week we had, or I say we, they had Colin Flaherty on.
You remember Colin Flaherty from his books, including White Girl Bleed a Lot.
Well, Scoop and Jim did a great job with Colin, and that immediately followed TPC last week.
And I think we made mention of that, but we didn't really drill it the way that I had wanted to.
The Copperhead called in, and we ran out of time.
But I want to tell you, just right out of the gate, before I toss it over to Scoop for his segment on TPC tonight and his capacity as correspondent.
See, he's wearing a couple of hats.
He's on right now as correspondent.
He immediately, after we get off the air, he switches over and goes on with Red 42 as the host.
But tonight, they've got an old friend, Jared Taylor, is the guest on Red 42 tonight.
And Scoop, you can tell us a little more about that and also your primary reason for calling in tonight, your topic.
Yep.
Thank you very much, James.
Good evening, Political Accessible family.
Well, like James says, as Cessco, we have a hang-up interview with American Renaissance's own Jared Taylor that you do not want to miss.
Because if it wasn't for Jared Taylor and the American Renaissance website, then yours truly would not be part of the Political Sessible nor hosting it on Red 42 radio.
But anyways, me, Jim, and Jared talking about things only few dare talk about.
And I'm not going to say what it is because you're going to have to listen or you can go search the archives.
But, I mean, talking to Jared, he was very pleasant, and he knew just about everything there is to know about everything.
He had no notes.
He didn't have a smartphone.
He said, let me look it up.
We went to a break.
He didn't have to go research anything.
And we're sitting there just talking bantering back and forth.
But he knew things like normal people wouldn't even know.
For example, 20-something years ago, New York City Housing, New York City Transit, and NYPD merged into one great police department.
How many of you know that?
He's not from New York, I don't think.
But meanwhile, I'm talking to this very brilliant man about a whole bunch of different things.
And Jim was very well prepared.
But yours truly screwed up the website address.
You know, I traded it.
But it was a great time by myself and Jared.
He asked me to do a little behind-the-scenes stuff for him.
So you won't be seeing that up front, but it'll be coming out.
But anyways, yesterday, Jim made a short video doubling even further that him and Jared spoke about and put it on YouTube.
Jim gives his apologies, but he's just too old to be up this late.
It is 9.50 Eastern Standard Time because he's an old guy.
But anyways, he made this very informative, excellent video.
He wasn't reading from Down from White Police, which he uses every four-letter word imaginable.
But this reading on YouTube was very informative, factual.
Jim didn't use any racial epithets, derogatory language, or advocate violence against anybody.
But guess what?
YouTube pulled the video and notified Jim that it was considered hate speech.
All Jim did was talk about facts in history about who was behind Star Multiculturalism.
But somebody got offended, contacted YouTube, and they pulled it.
But, I mean, this was a prime example of Sam Bushman's excellent, he who has the gold makes the rule speech.
And this is also another reason why you need to support outlets such as Liberty News Radio or any other outlets that dares to talk about what we talk about as informative and entertaining as it is.
And we, now, being part of Liberty News Radio, we say what we want as long as it's within the FCC guidelines.
We're not allowed to say salty language or make slander or liable accusations.
But guess what?
We don't need to because we report the truth and we won't back down.
We apologize for nothing.
We took back nothing and we're on the mark about 99.9% of the time.
And when we do miss something or something wasn't quite as factual, we admit it up front.
But anyways, that's why we need your support.
Now, if you don't want to support us financially, fine.
And tell other people about us.
Like, hey, you got to listen to these guys on this radio on the Libya Roundtable and Political Cessible and Red 42.
You guys are off the chain.
They tell it like it is, and they are funny as it can be.
Or better yet, call your local radio stations.
Tell them that you want the programming from Libby News Radio.
Tell them, you know, you're sick and tired of hearing about get rich quick schemes, gardening, clipping coupons, retirement, all these other scams and shellatins and snake-law salesmen.
Well, guess what?
You're not going to get rich quick and listen to these people, especially Rick Edelman, who's all over the airways in the mornings and on the weekends.
But guess what?
Call your local radio station.
Tell me you want to listen to the political cesspool or Red 42 or somebody else that's not on the network.
Tell me you want to listen to it and even pay for it.
But that's it for my soapbox.
James, I'll turn it over to you.
No, I mean, what he said is important.
And again, the cross-pollination continues with Jared Taylor being on deck, not for TPC tonight, as he has been so many countless times over the years, but for Red 42, which is coming up next.
And so you can listen to that, and I want you to.
And I know I want to give a shout out to Ken up in New York.
I don't have the city from which Ken listens currently in front of me.
But I hear from Ken just about every week from how much he's enjoying Red 42.
Now, he's a TPC listener, longtime listener.
He sticks around, as I hope many of you do.
Just stay tuned to this network.
The same way you listen to TPC, just keep listening in and pretend we have a fourth hour, and then you'll end up in Red 42, and you can hear Jim and Scoop's take on some similar issues, but they've also got their own unique takes on things that's a little bit different from the way we do business.
You can say that again.
In fact, I told James, I said, you know what?
Interview with Colin was great.
Interview with Jerry was great.
But let's go back to basics.
Let's just go back to pointless banter back and forth, making fun of each other for a whole hour.
But, you know, whatever happens, what happens.
But one good thing about me and Jim, I mean, we got a great relationship.
Jim is a great guy.
James, you're okay, too.
I've been knowing you for 13 years.
But we got great chemistry on this show.
And it's great doing it.
Sam Bushman, oh my God, I can't thank that man enough.
But like I said before, there's a reason why we're all together.
I mean, think about it.
You got a guy from the Washington, D.C. area, well, talking to a guy in Memphis, produced in Utah, whose partner is in New England.
That's crazy.
But I mean, I mean, you can't get anybody any more spontaneous, original, or honest radio than on Libyan News Radio Network.
Well, and there is still room for growth.
And we've been talking about it a lot tonight.
And I know this is a little bit early and outside of our regularly scheduled quarterly fundraising drives.
And the first quarter, the spring fundraising drive for 2018 will start next month here for TPC.
But no, I mean, there are stations out there that either want to carry us, number one, and we were talking about that earlier, or stations that would carry us if you give them a call and maybe let them know about us.
I mean, we can't call every radio station.
We wouldn't even know where they are.
But you do.
And I guess we could do the research and dig it up.
But again, time is money and everything's a finite resource.
But there's about 14,000 radio stations in America.
There are more stations out there that will, and that's not an exaggeration.
I mean, there are approximately 14,000 different radio stations across the country.
I guarantee you, there are more out of that 14,000.
Now, some of them are going to be music formats.
They're not going to all be talk radio.
But we're on Christian stations.
We're on talk stations.
We're on some music stations that preempt us on Saturday night.
There are stations out there that would carry our programs, Liberty Roundtable, Political Cesspool, Red 42.
We need you to get out and call them.
I'm glad Scoop mentioned that.
Get out and call.
Call your local radio stations.
Have them get in touch with us.
We'll work out a deal.
That's what we're doing right now with some stations that are online.
And do what you can with what you've got.
We're doing it.
I promise you.
We're doing the work too.
Meet us halfway.
You always have.
You always will.
And we're going to keep on trucking.
But no, it is interesting.
The family that we've got here, and it's from all across the country.
I like the way Scoop put it.
We've got people that he just mentioned.
Even from Australia tonight with our guest Drew Fraser and Virginia Abernathy up there in northeastern Washington State calling in.
And of course, our listenership is even more vast and varied than that.
But it's a very special crew here, and it's people from all walks of life in different places.
Birds of a feather fought together.
That's true.
And it's just been wonderful, and it will continue to be wonderful.
Scoop, I know you've got, so we talked about Jim.
And Jim, by the way, Jim Lancia, you know Jim is our criminal justice correspondent here on TPC.
He co-hosts Red 42 with Scoop.
And he also does this YouTube show that Scoop was alluding to.
We've mentioned it before.
It's downtown White Police on YouTube.
He's getting censored.
Go check him out while you still can.
Scoop, thank you, folks.
We'll talk to you next week.
Hope to have good news for you by the time we get on next Saturday.
