Time Text
U.S. You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Help me find a party and try to get in touch with me.
She could not leave a number, but I know a place to call.
Cosmopolit took the message and he wrote it on the wall.
Help me information, get in touch with my Marie.
She's the only one who'd call me from Memphis, Tennessee.
Always on the south side, high up on the ridge, just a half a mile from the Mississippi River.
All right, everybody, welcome to tonight's live broadcast of the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
I'm your host, James Edwards.
Let me figure out what day it is.
It's Saturday, June 24th.
And that was a song about our hometown, Keith, Memphis, Tennessee.
I remember when I was a little boy, I was in the early 60s.
My family was on a vacation in Chicago, and we had the radio on, and I heard it, and I was swelling with pride because I was from Memphis.
That's right.
That's what that song will do for you.
Memphis used to be a great place.
Still some good parts, I guess you could say, and it's still a great history.
In fact, we were just looking at a sports booklet that we had from 1962, Vanderbilt playing Louisville, and looking at what SEC basketball used to look like back then as opposed to now.
And you would just think about how much things have changed for the worse in our culture and society generally since 1962 when Johnny Rivers was singing Memphis to complete the circle.
Well, that's why we're here, though, to reclaim America's destiny, to put things right, to restore the natural order and on and on.
But, you know, Memphis does have, as I mentioned, a great history.
And which brings me to recall, in all of the years we've done Confederate History Month series, Keith, which how many years has that been now?
13?
13 years?
We have never once talked about the one Confederate battle that took place in Memphis, which was actually a Navy battle.
It was a naval battle.
And of course, the good guys lost.
That's right.
We were technologically challenged back then.
We didn't have the money to build all the ironclads.
There was probably the most effective ironclad in the war was the Merrimack, and it was built in the South.
But we had cottonclads back then in the Battle of Memphis.
We had steamboats that had bulwarks made out of cotton bales going up against the Union ironclads.
You can imagine how well that turned out.
Well, we did our best.
We definitely did our best.
Yeah, I'm trying to get my levels right here.
Bear with us, folks.
It's always a work in progress on a live show.
Okay, so that being said, Lair Balak once wrote that the faith is Europe and Europe is the faith.
And so we ask you to be with us over the course of tonight's three-hour show when we refocus our attention on churches that are abandoning the faith and taking the path of least resistance in a vain attempt to curry favor with the forces of evil.
In other words, so many churches now, including our very own Southern Baptist Church here in the South, in many ways, trading in the gospel of Jesus Christ for the gospel of cultural Marxism and certainly doing it a disgrace to the traditional faith of their fathers.
We talk about it a lot.
We're going to talk about it tonight during the second and third hours because, because the Southern Baptist Convention was held this week, earlier this week, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Now, we did talk a little bit about this last week, but we've got much, much more information about you, including the role we've played on social media and perhaps impacting in some small way what happened there.
We'll fill you in on all of that.
But I was asking Keith before the show, certainly there are many churches, many denominations out there that are much worse, much more cucked than the Southern Baptists, although they're racing as fast as they can to catch up, believe me.
But they don't have lesbian ministers yet and all of these other outright heresies.
There's a lesbian minister in your future Southern Baptist convention if you continue down this path.
In fact, Russell Moore, who is the center of the Eye of the Hurricane, the center of the controversy regarding the Southern Baptist Convention, has recommended that Southern Baptists attend a gay marriage in order to have their consciousness lifted and their tolerance expanded.
So, there you go again.
There's a book that I would recommend to anyone that has any doubts that basically the Southern Baptists are just following the primrose path that every other Protestant denomination has gone through in the past 50, 60, 70 years.
They call them the Seven Sisters of the Mainline.
Mainline Protestantism, the Presbyterian Church USA, Episcopal Church USA, Lutherans, Northern Baptists, Disciples of Christ, the Methodists, all of these churches, the Congregationalist Church, now it's called the United Churches of Christ.
These have all tried to blend Christianity and liberalism, and you can't.
It was Russell Moore that said that the Confederate flag and the Christian cross can't coexist one or the other will burst into flame.
Well, he's wrong about that, but I'll pick up on his metaphor.
You cannot have liberal Christianity.
It's Nazi moron.
It'd be like having holy sin.
And what the churches have done in the mainline and in the Catholic Church and in just about everything except Eastern Orthodox, because they're not part of Western civilization, and that's been a saving grace for them.
They've tried to exchange the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John for gospels of Peter, Paul, and Mary.
Now, according to most churches, including the Southern Baptists, now, they're getting on board the freedom train.
They're going to try to take the position that, you know, racism is a great sin.
Look through a traditional Bible like the King James Bible or the Vulgate or whatever, and see if you can find the word racism anywhere in that Bible.
It's nowhere, folks.
Well, we've got all new information.
Now, this is a recurring topic on this show because, yes, you know what we're here to talk about on the political cesspool.
We're here to talk about racial realities, but we do so from a Christian perspective, being Southerners, and that is the point.
The point is, most of the Christians in the world today, but especially in America, are in the South.
And the Southern Baptist Church is, of course, the largest denomination of Christians in the South and in the world.
So the Protestant denomination, I should say.
So this is something that directly impacts our people as Southerners.
This was a church that most of our people have belonged to if they were Christians at some point.
Well, see, that's a refuge.
I pointed out to you at lunch today, James, that in the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, most Southern whites were not Southern Baptists.
They were Southern Methodists.
That's right.
Then you had the Southern Methodists merge with the Northern Methodists to become the United Methodists, and that thing has gone down the primrose path to liberalism and marked by a lot of empty churches.
We've covered this a lot, but we've got new information.
We're going to tell you what happened at the convention, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona, the Southern Baptist Convention 2017.
We're going to fill you in on that and new information, new details.
It's all coming up later on in the show.
First, we're going to have some other topics this first hour, and it's coming your way next.
Okay, let's try this.
Honey, I've got some surprising news.
No.
Okay, this will work.
Guess who's going to have a baby?
No, that's not it.
I don't know.
Hi, honey.
Are you okay?
Jill's pregnant.
Our Jill?
She's just a kid.
I know.
But, you know, nothing really has to change when the baby comes.
I'll help her.
We'll just help her, right?
We never thought it would happen to our Jill or to us.
We didn't know how to best help her through the tough decisions she'd have to make.
Thankfully, we found that help.
And not just for her, but for us too.
We're here to listen.
We're here to help.
LDS Family Services.
Where there's help, there's hope.

Well, folks, before Eddie Bobmer Miller is going to be in with us tonight because he, like myself, have been members of Southern Baptist churches.
And me for a life, a lifetime, Eddie, came to the church in recent years, and so he's going to be on with me for the bulk of our coverage of what happened in Phoenix this week at the Southern Baptist Convention later on in the show.
But first, I want to give you a little encouragement before we have to discourage you by telling you what's going on in the churches.
Alternative media continues to grow.
I told you this story last fall, but I was revisiting it this week.
And as you may remember, I traveled to Michigan last year just two weeks before Election Day to speak to the Foundation for the Marketplace of Ideas alt-right event.
I talked about the rise and philosophy of the alt-right for about an hour.
Then we took questions for an hour.
But later that evening, I had the opportunity to be interviewed on the Battle of Ideas, which is a television talk show hosted by John Mangopoulos that airs on a number of television stations throughout the state of Michigan.
And we spent that entire show explaining why his television audience should vote for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.
Again, this was two weeks before Election Day.
And of course, a few days later, after that program aired, Donald Trump not only won the election, but carried Michigan by a razor-thin margin of 10,000 votes.
So maybe we did our part in that.
But since my trip to Michigan, Ted Nugent had probably a little thing to do with that too.
Since my trip to Michigan, I've become good friends with John Mangopoulos, who previously ran for U.S. Congress in that state.
And he is a great guy.
He is, like us, a Christian, pro-white, even though he's not a southerner.
He's very much with the plight of our ancestors and is sympathetic to our cause.
I love the guy.
He's got a great family, a large family, great wife.
I had the chance to stay at his home.
Anyway, we've become friends, and he was texting me the other day, and caused me to remember my time up there in Michigan.
And that's why I wanted to bring it back to your attention tonight.
So the fact is, his politically incorrect television show is well known in Michigan for pulling no punches.
And so I've pulled together, I think we played these one time for you before, but I'd like to play them again.
They're very short, and it's just a humorous take on the issues that I think is very encouraging.
Just to know that there's shows like this out there, here's a clip called, he's talking about winches.
Let's queue up the winch clip.
I have seen what it does to the children.
I have seen what it does to the fathers.
And lives are destroyed because the government is allowing, not only allowing, but subsidizing women to break up families.
Now, Rachel, it is your turn.
All right.
Well, I would just like to say one other thing.
As far as you referring to women as wenches on a constant basis, I hope that if you do have children, that they are separated from you at some time in your life so they're not more miserable people like you walking around in life.
And I truly hope that they do not infill the value that you have because they are so terrible and so awful that you might need to reevaluate what your reality and what your reality is.
Rachel, I am diagnosing you.
You are a wench.
Thank you.
I just diagnosed Rachel.
It's one of the services that I provide for the community.
When women call this program and they have that kind of an illness and their brain doesn't work and they have twisted thinking, I very frequently have to diagnose them as suffering from wenchhood.
See, ladies and gentlemen, you can say what you want about me, but you just heard Rachel, out of her own mouth, say that she wishes, she wishes upon me that I become one of these men who is separated from my children.
Well, that won't happen, Rachel, because I didn't marry a wench.
That is very likely to happen to your husband if anybody's stupid enough to marry you.
But it's not going to happen to me.
And now, one last thing I'd like to tell you.
I want you to know that all of my children are taught to believe exactly as I do.
All right, Keith, when's the last time you heard something like that coming across your television set?
What we do on the radio, that guy does on TV, and it's a great guy and a great show.
Well, he ain't Fox News, that's for sure.
I love to hear that.
I love to see somebody that will call a spade a dirty shovel, as my wife's grandfather, my late wife's grandfather used to say.
When you hit the nail on the head, you drive it straight, as I've said, and that's what you got to do.
You've got to come right at them in their own terms.
And you can't flinch.
You can't back down.
This is the difference between the League of the South and Sons of Confederate veterans on the Confederate monument situation, for example.
The most effective strategy is direct attack.
If you don't believe me, check the annals of General Nathan Bedford Forrest.
Well, here's another clip from John Mangopoulos.
Women, these hyphenated women, they don't want to take their husband's name.
Sometimes they're not even hyphenated.
They just go by their maiden name.
Well, what is your maiden name, feminist?
It's still another male's name.
It's your daddy's name, if you should happen to know who he is.
It's your daddy's name.
So you don't want to take your husband's name?
Well, you're stuck with your daddy's name.
It's still a man's name.
Oh, you want to go with your mother's maiden name?
Well, that's her daddy's name.
You're not going to get out of this.
I guess some liberals get out of this by naming their children Moonbeam or Carpet Crumb or something like that.
Why do you need to get out of it?
What's wrong with you?
Why do you have a chip on your shoulder?
What the hell is wrong with you?
Take your husband's name or just be a dyke.
Just leave normal people alone.
God help us.
Now, as I said, ladies and gentlemen, this man is with us.
That's a serious issue, to be sure, but he's with us on the most serious and sensitive of issues also.
I'm playing this just to give you, I guess, a full spectrum of what you could hear on his program.
Well, you know what he's doing.
He knows exactly what the battle is.
The left has tried to set the fringes against the middle, against the great mass of society, which is heterosexual and in America still majority white.
And they've tried to make a coalition of everybody who is not heterosexual or white into the enemies of the basis of society.
Well, he attacks all these fringe groups directly.
He has no problem with telling them that he's their opponent and that they are wrong.
This is what we need more of, not less of.
So hats off to him.
Well, again, the main point here is, ladies and gentlemen, it's so easy to be discouraged and to sometimes feel as though you're adrift and that there's nothing for you to invest hope in.
But you do have media out there.
You have the political cesspool.
You have the Liberty Roundtable on mainstream AM radio programs, radio stations, of course, on the internet and all the other ways you can listen to us as well.
But we've got radio shows.
We've got TV shows like John Mankopoulos, what he does.
He's been on the air even longer than we have.
Just up there in Michigan, it's a state television program.
I mean, it's not state-sponsored.
It airs in only one state.
You can't pick it up on the internet, but it's out there.
It's out there.
And then, of course, you've got the real new media, which is what people like Red Ice is doing, for instance, on the Internet.
So between our work on the radio, people like Mangopoulos on television, Red Ice, Lana Henrik, and all of the other people that are out there doing great things on YouTube and through these different social media forums and internet venues, we are building a synergy and we're growing and we're getting stronger.
And one day, we will supplant the establishment media once and for all.
We're going to take a break, come back with much more this first hour before we set our sights on the church in the second and third with Eddie Miller.
Stay tuned.

President Trump submitting nominees for the federal judiciary.
While fired FBI Director Comey was testifying that he felt the president might have tried to obstruct justice, Mr. Trump submitted his fourth slate of federal judicial nominees.
There are currently about 100 vacancies.
During the 2016 campaign, Trump promised to nominate federal judges with the same type of judicial philosophy as the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
The vacancies within the judiciary allow the president to moderate the radical leftist direction some courts have taken.
For years, the Israeli government has warned of the existence of Hamas terror tunnels in Palestine.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees in the Near East never took the warning seriously.
Instead, the UN agency condemned Israeli military strikes designed to destroy the tunnels.
Now the agency has been forced to admit two Hamas terror tunnels run under, quote, two adjacent agency schools in the camp.
The tunnels were discovered during construction of a new building.

There are quite a few reasons for the precarious state of our civilization and our people, but one of the main ones is that we have lost the intellectual and moral high ground to a cultural elite that is hostile to our people and our culture.
Those of us who are politically aware must understand that the elites dominating culture and the political process in the West are intellectually and morally bankrupt.

Well, there was another Keith wanted to revisit a conversation or rather a discussion, a talking point he had last week about what's going on in the public schools.
And I'm going to give Keith an alley oop.
To use another basketball term, I'm going to lob it up for Keith with a slam dunk.
And I'm going to do so by playing one last clip from this TV show in Michigan that we like so much.
And it's John Mangopoulos talking about public schools.
Here you go.
Oh, boy.
Public schools.
That's just a funny, funny thing.
You know, it's like chemotherapy for brain cells that work just fine.
You know how when people get diagnosed with cancer, they get chemotherapy, Mr. Director?
And the theory is that this will kill the bad cancerous cells, or at least diminish them to the point where the body can defend itself against them and replenish itself with good cells.
Well, public schools are kind of like that, only in reverse.
They sort of kill.
Public schools are designed to kill off all of your good working brain cells.
People talk about how marijuana kills your brain cells.
And people say, I've heard people say, you know what?
Gosh, if I hadn't smoked so many joints when I was a kid, I'd be able to think more clearly now.
Well, you know, don't be so hard on yourself.
Truthfully, don't be so hard on yourself.
Because if you went to the public schools, the public schools killed more brain cells than the joints you smoked.
I guarantee you.
I guarantee you.
Yeah, that's a good point.
My director just made a good point.
That's why he's the director of the show.
He says that perhaps marijuana actually prevented a lot of your good brain cells from being destroyed.
Because if you're stoned out of your mind, you won't hear the trash that they're telling you.
So you won't have your brain cells killed.
That makes perfect sense to me.
If you're stoned out of your mind, you can't receive the poison that the teachers tried to instill in you.
So that's pretty much the state of the public schools now.
And Keith, that just happens to be something you want to talk about this segment.
Well, in Memphis, we've got this widespread scandal that's broken all over the news about it started at Tresmond High School, which is an inner city black high school where the black principal said that he was resigning, but sent a six-page letter to all the media outlets saying that he was being forced to commit grade fraud on the students at the high school for their benefit to get them into college,
to get them athletic scholarships, yada, yada, yada, all of the normal stuff.
Plus, that old standby embezzlement.
This is what has happened to the Memphis public schools since me and Eddie went to them back in the day.
Back when Eddie and I went there, we had, heaven forbid, segregated, racially segregated schools.
But the schools were run on the cheap and they had great results.
I guarantee you, and Eddie will back this up, you could go to any school in the city of Memphis, including black school if you're a black student.
And if you had an aptitude for physics or calculus or trigonometry, they had someone in that school that could teach it to you.
And if you took the course, learned what was there to be learned, you could go on to college anywhere based on your grades and you could perform up to college level expectations.
Nobody worried back in Eddie and my days, back then, where you went to school.
Nobody was jockeying and angling to get into this special school or that special school.
You knew that any school that you attended would be adequate and would be good and wholesome and you would learn a lot.
Well, now, then the left got involved and decided they were going to improve things.
There's a picture down at the Shelby County Courthouse of segregation in the law exhibit, and it's got two black, well, a black pastor and a black lawyer, A.W. Willis Jr., a lawyer and Reverend Samuel Billy Kyles, who was with Martin Luther King on the fateful day when he was shot, in this outside the Memphis school board with signs saying segregated education is expensive and inferior.
And I've seen that and said that's the biggest lie ever told.
Think of how much more expensive and how far inferior in teaching and training integrated schools are compared to the segregated schools of yesteryear.
And of course, to prove this, it just comes around in a place like Memphis, a majority black town, time and again.
Back a day, everybody that graduated from the Memphis City Schools could do algebra.
They could do, if they got a regular bona fide diploma, if you couldn't, you might get a certificate of attendance if you're in special education or something like that.
But if you got a full-fledged diploma, you could use the English language, you could write a sentence, you could write a paragraph, you could stay on topic on writing, you knew American history, you knew math, you, at the very least, knew all your arithmetic and probably algebra two or algebra one.
Now today, they're graduating people that don't even know how to read.
And this was coming out in this scandal.
And it's an indictment of what has happened to the public schools in places like Memphis.
They've basically been turned into private school systems for blacks, run by blacks.
All the teachers are almost entirely black.
The administrators certainly are black and the students are black.
And as a result, The quality of education has gone third world.
We used to have a first world city, and you see what happens when you reach critical mass with diversity, as they call it.
That's a euphemism.
You see a city like Detroit that once was the industrial hub of the free world.
And look at it now.
It looks like Hiroshima looked like after the bombing.
That's what all of this shows.
You know, there's so much proof about this, but it's like the Emperor's New Clothes.
Nobody wants to tell you the real reason for all this dysfunction in the public schools.
That's where we break from the mold here at the political cesspool.
We're not afraid to name them and shame them.
No, we're not.
So who should we name and shame next?
What else you got?
Well, what we have after public education is, you know, public secondary education is bad.
Now, the cultural Marxists have gotten into college curricula and high school curricula, and they make sure that you don't get an education that allows you to use your own critical faculties and make conclusions for yourself and argue convincingly from your standpoint.
You're required to regurgitate propaganda.
For example, the propaganda that the Civil War was entirely about slavery, predominantly about slavery.
I've got a news flash for people that believe that.
Nobody in antebellum America, except there might have been a handful of people that believe this, but nobody in the North or the South was so enamored of black people and their plight back then that they were willing to sacrifice their fathers, their brothers, and their sons in a crusade to free them.
In fact, freedom for the slaves was a secondary issue.
The primary issues driving the Civil War were economic and political domination of the South by the North.
And the fact that we in the South were paying 80% of the revenues going into the federal government, but were not getting even 20% of the benefits from federal expenditures.
This was the straw that broke the camel back.
It was called the Morrell Tariff.
Also, for those who want to hold out for the idea that somehow slavery was the big issue, I would refer them to check on Wikipedia and look up the Corwin Amendment, C-O-R-W-I-N.
This was a proposed amendment to the Constitution.
Had it passed, it would have been the 13th Amendment.
And if all of the 11 southern states had stayed in the Union and voted for it, it would have passed and become the 13th Amendment.
It provided that slavery would remain forever legal and inviolate in all states and territories where it was then legal and inviolate.
Lincoln wasn't the great emancipator.
He was the great maven of big government.
He wanted the United States to cast a big figure in world affairs.
He wanted America to have a large population and a lot of wealth.
He didn't want to see half the population, half the wealth break off from his government.
And that was the real reason for the Civil War.
Now, on the other hand, there's a reason why the left focuses on slavery.
They focus on slavery and they also make you believe that white southerners were the only people in the world that ever enslaved other human beings.
Of course, everyone that lives in the world today has an ancestor some way down the pike that was a slave.
In the old days, in a harsher, crueler world in many ways, although it's going to get really harsh and cruel if this liberal chedrake jury plays itself out.
What happened was that slavery was the humane alternative to the age-old question of what you do to a conquered people.
The other option was put them to the sword.
The only man who can segue seamlessly from a discussion about public schools to the war between the states is Keith Alexander the Great.
But wouldn't you know it?
In his infinite wisdom, we have a clip on the South coming up next.

A divergence from the original intent put forth in the United States Constitution has brought grave threats to our beloved nation.
A miracle is needed if the United States is to survive.
That miracle is again the pure application of the United States Constitution.
I'm Scott Bradley.
In my To Preserve the Nation book and lecture series, I bring forth truths that will help raise up a new generation of statesmen like those noble Americans who founded this land.
Vigorous application of these principles will invigorate and restore the nation, and we may become again the freest, most prosperous, most respected, and happiest nation on earth.

Okay folks, I guess overall the theme this hour has been to encourage you with the fact that there are new media taking center stage as Sam Bushman so often puts it.
Radio and television with social media, the internet, YouTube, etc.
Our people are rising forward and it's not just that you have shows anybody can have a show.
I'm talking about shows with committed people willing to stand up and take the O's and to be run through the ringer in the media.
But even much more than that, people who will do all of these things while competently and articulately, articulately, look at me trying to be articulate here.
They put it out there to the very best of their ability and by any standard of measurement.
It is an outstanding job.
So eloquent.
Listen to this guy.
This is a guy that just came onto the scene.
Has a new YouTube show.
This is his, I think, second tape that he's done.
This just goes to show, and these YouTube videos are getting tens of thousands of views.
It goes to show the talent that we have out there that is emerging in the new media.
This is the guy who is doing a clip on the Confederacy, and the name of the show is The Wolf Age.
Let's take a listen.
There's a stereotype of Southerners that poisons any debate such as the ongoing controversy over the removal of Confederate statues.
It's an unflattering image made up of illiteracy, poverty, inbreeding, and of course everybody's favorite racism.
And it's not an image that wins much support from the public, particularly in the North, of course.
This preconception of white Southerners is in itself racist, but that's lost on most people.
There are so many wrong impressions about the Confederate cause that one hardly knows where to begin, but here's a little fact that will be of some interest.
General Robert E. Lee, one of the best-known personalities in the War of Succession, owned no slaves until he gained some upon marrying his wife.
He set them free.
General Ulysses S. Grant, Lee's northern counterpart, owned slaves before and during and after the war.
Lincoln's famous Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in the states making up the Confederacy.
Slavery continued in the Union.
When Grant was asked why he had not freed his slaves, he responded with a line that has become a part of the American English lexicon.
Good help is hard to find.
So, whose statue gets taken down because of its connections to slavery?
Why, Lee's, of course.
I have not heard any clamor to place Grant's statues somewhere where people cannot see them.
But for all my friends who live in the states that were in the Union and who had ancestors who fought to free the slaves, or some of the slaves, it's time to realize something very important.
Being a Confederate is no longer about where you live or even on which side your ancestors fought.
You can be from Ohio or Pennsylvania or New York because what is now happening in New Orleans and elsewhere in the South is your battle too.
The same interests that are demanding an ISIS-like erasure of history when it comes to the statues of Confederate heroes are the same forces tightening the leftist and globalist stranglehold on y'all up in the north and those of you out west and those of you from coast to coast and around the world.
They're the people who believe that racism must be extinguished even if it means white people need to be extinguished.
The same people who attribute white success to white privilege.
The people who think that black lives matter, but blue ones, not so much.
The people who want more immigration for the precise reason that it will ensure a non-white majority in America.
The same people who hide their faces behind masks while suppressing free speech in Berkeley or New Orleans or Washington, D.C. or Portland, Oregon, or a multitude of other places.
These people are not just after Southerners.
They're after you too.
The establishment has to break the spirit of the South for three reasons.
Number one, we're seen as consciously white, and that's no longer acceptable in America.
Never mind that there are more than a few black supporters of the Confederate monuments and flag, and that in fact almost half of the blacks in one survey in the South favored keeping the statues of our heroes.
On to reason number two.
The conservative culture of the South, which, while still affected by the neo-Marxist degeneracy sweeping across our nation, is largely a bastion of traditional values such as hard work, family, and hospitality to all, regardless of color.
But the big reason the South has to be broken is number three.
The leftists can't forget that from 1861 to 1865, men of the South actually took up arms and fought valiantly against the government ensconced in Washington, D.C. You fought all the way, Johnny Reb.
Traitorous politicians who are literally, literally in collaboration with wretches like Antifa and the various left-wing so-called civil rights groups, to include the ones like the Coalition for Black Lives that capitalize black and brown when describing race, but put white in lowercase?
Yes, those kind.
They are determined to drive old Dixie down.
Well, to hell with them.
My friends, if your Union ancestors were alive today, they would stand alongside us as we fight this tyranny that threatens us all in the North and the South and in the East and in the West.
In the early 20th century, the survivors of Pickett's charge at Gettysburg and the survivors among the Union soldiers who had defended against them that fateful day met to recreate that attack under the rolling cameras of history.
As the now elderly Confederate veterans struggled across the field that had played such an important role in their youth, the men in the Union positions stood up, rushed across the gap separating them, and tearfully embraced their former foes.
I ask you to do the same and stand alongside us as we fight the battles of the wolf age.
Hey, folks.
Does it get much better than that?
I mean, this is a guy that was unbeknownst to, I guess he finished that video.
I cut it off.
He finished it by saying we're all Confederates now.
That was a guy that was unbeknownst to, I guess, most of us prior to just two weeks ago.
And we've got capable, articulate people like that cropping up all over the place now.
Our message is getting out more than ever before on television, on radio, on the internet.
And it's only growing thanks to your support, ladies and gentlemen.
You made that happen.
Take hope.
Be proud because you're a big part of our shared success.
And I think, Keith, we, of course, did our Confederate History Month series in April, as we always do.
And then right after that, there was another big battle to remove monuments.
So we stayed on the Confederate topic for another two or three weeks.
I think for our coverage on the Confederate issue to this point this year, that clip really is a nice capstone.
It is.
And we were talking about the boomer generation versus millennials and whatnot.
There are pros and cons for each group.
One of the big pros for millennials and Gen Xers is they are more technologically advanced than their elders, the baby boomers.
The baby boomers, if I run into a baby boomer somewhere in the South, I know if I start talking, he will identify himself eventually as a conservative, which is the only term he has for being anti-liberal.
There are other terms, but they haven't been as widely publicized.
On the other hand, millennials and to a lesser extent Gen Xers, so many of them have drunk the Kool-Aid and have totally bought into the liberal Marxist vision.
But for the ones that haven't, the ones that think for themselves, they're the ones that are giving us this Overton window of opportunity because of their technological proficiency.
We now rule the internet in a lot of ways.
And that is that we finally got a hold of a microphone.
If we can get somebody with some money to buy ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, or CNN, then we'll start making inroads with the people that don't know how to negotiate the internet and have to get all their news either in print from the legacy newspapers or from the legacy broadcast agencies like NBC,
CBS, PBS, all of these people.
This is the wave of the future.
We're going to have more and more people producing more and more good content like this.
And the left basically is filled with a bunch of third raters who are only in it because they can get paid to be in it.
Our people do it for love of their own people, love of their own kind, and love of principle.
That's why I say the future belongs to us.
We just need her to go out there and grab it by the tail.
Well, the only way the people like us on the front lines stay where we are, ladies and gentlemen, the only way we're able to continuously, and I mean incessantly, engage in this struggle is because of your loyal support.
Now, we are smack dab in the middle of our second quarter fundraising drive right now.
And frankly, we're talking about these other shows.
We've been trailblazers here 13 years talking about a pro-white message.
We predate everybody in the media.
Now, there were some other organizations like American Renaissance and certainly the Council of Conservative Citizens that came before us.
But as far as media entities, pro-white media entities, explicitly pro-white media entities, we were the first by far.
And we want to continue to do what we do because being first gets us a lot of, I mean, that's why we're so well known and why we get all of the media attention or a great deal of it.
But we need your help to stay where we are and to defend the position that we've built for our people.
And the way you can do that, of course, is to go to our website, thepoliticalspool.org, and donate tonight $100 more than you qualify for our fundraising incentive, which is a great audio discussion I had with Sam Dixon.
You don't want to miss getting that.
So do that during the break and we're back with the second and third hours for going to church.
All new stuff, though.
We're not going to retread old stuff.
It's new content on this recurring issue when we come back.
