Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide, as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
My love, warm as the sunshine, sitting here by me.
She's here by me.
She stepped out of the rainbow.
Golden hair shining like moonbow.
Warm lips, soft as a soul, sitting here by me.
She's here by me.
All right, ladies and gentlemen.
I can see the future.
I bet you didn't know that, but I can.
Welcome to tonight's live broadcast of the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
James Edwards, Keith Alexander the Great, and Johnny Rivers, who took his name from the old miss, the old man, as Chevy Chase called it in National Lampoon's Vacation, the Mississippi River.
Johnny Rivers, was summer rain an appropriate song for this time of year?
Absolutely.
And a lot of people don't realize that Johnny Rivers was a member of Elvis' Memphis Mafia.
In fact, that's how he got his camel's nose in the tent of the recording industry.
I think that Elvis was a little taken aback by that.
It felt like he'd been used, but Johnny Rivers basically got his start hanging around Elvis and the recording sessions that he did and his trips to Hollywood and all of this.
By the way, why did Elvis go to Hollywood?
Why else?
Chicks.
He had all those starlits out there and he wasn't about to pass that opportunity up.
So that's why he made all those movies.
That's why he acquiesced to the Colonel's wishes in regard to the career path he took.
We're really getting a little bit of trivia here for fans of the movie, I mean of the show.
We know the backstory on just about everything, apparently, including Johnny Rivers.
I don't know everything.
Well, I tell you, the greatest injustice facing humanity right now is that Johnny Rivers is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I mean, that guy had a singing voice, great interpretive artist.
Very hard to beat Johnny Rivers.
Anyway, I told you a moment ago, I can see the future.
And I can see that for the next four weeks, you're going to have one incredible show after another.
And I know you say, well, James, that's easy.
Every show y'all ever do is great.
Well, you got me there, but I can guarantee you the next four are going to be great because we already got a timeline of what we're going to be covering.
Now, typically, we take it week by week and see what is going on in the world and what we need to talk about based upon what headlines are out there and what we need to offer our unique analysis and commentary to.
But the schedule has been set for us in advance.
So tonight what we're going to do, we're going to remember Bob Whitaker.
Bob Whitaker, a giant in our movement, has passed away.
He passed away earlier this week in his sleep at home.
And so in the third hour of tonight's show, Winston Smith's going to be joining me, Winston making a rare appearance, but always an important appearance if Winston's back on the show, co-host Winston Smith, to remember Bob Whitaker.
We're going to talk about his life, his accomplishments, and our experiences with him.
A tribute to Bob Whitaker in the third hour tonight.
But before that, Keith and I are going to break down news from Washington to London.
We're going to be talking about James Comey.
We're going to be talking about Jeff Sessions.
We're going to be talking about the U.K. elections.
All of that's coming up and more tonight.
We may even venture into Antarctica.
We don't do that too often, but there's something happening in Antarctica that I think our audience might be interested in, James.
Well, you stump me, Keith, so let's just set on that for a second.
We may all find that out together.
Just to give you a little preview of what's coming up in the weeks to come.
Two weeks from tonight, Eddie the Bombardier Miller will be reporting live from the League of the South annual conference in Alabama.
David Duke, Michael Hill, Brad Griffin, and others are among the speakers slated for that event.
So it's going to be nice to have a representative of our team down there covering the conference for the political Cesspool audience.
Of course, in July, we're going to be dispatching Keith to American Renaissance.
He's going to be doing the same from AR.
But next week, I was going to get into some of this tonight, but we're going to save it for next week.
We're going to let everything play out, and then we're really going to sink our teeth into what's happening in the Southern Baptist Convention next week.
If you're not a member of the Southern Baptist Church, if you're not a Christian, maybe you groan a little bit because we do cover it a lot.
Why do we cover the happenings of the Southern Baptist Convention a lot?
Well, it's very simple.
I grew up a Southern Baptist, so that's probably the biggest reason.
But I would also say that outside of the Orthodox churches, the Southern Baptists were probably the most conservative right-wing denomination in the world.
And also, of course, the Southern Baptist Church came into being to begin with.
It was the Confederates, even before they were Confederates in the 1840s, splitting from the mainline Baptists over the issue of slavery, and that's how the Southern Baptist Church even became to be.
Well, you know, in recent years, they've had all sorts of apostasy going on in there.
They've denounced, quote-unquote, racism.
They have denounced the Confederate flag.
You can't have a Confederate flag and be a Christian.
You can't vote for Donald Trump and be a Christian.
This is what some of the leadership, the Southern Baptist Church is saying to their members.
You can't be on the verge right now of saying you can't be a Southern white person and be a Christian.
You know, that's right.
So the thing is, the Southern Baptists are meeting in Phoenix, Arizona this week for their 2017 convention.
And as we said last week, they're meeting out there to get as far away from any actual Southern Baptists as they possibly can to pass these resolutions.
So there's a resolution.
There's a certain work, basically.
Right.
There's a resolution being proposed that will be voted on that says the Southern Baptist Church unequivocally denounces white nationalism and the alt-right.
So I was thinking, what could they possibly do to be more pathetic than what they've done in the last few years?
Now, I say this as a lifelong Southern Baptist.
Now, let me be very clear here.
I am alt-right.
I am a Christian.
I am a Southern Baptist.
I love my race.
I'm proud of my Confederate ancestors.
I don't think any of those things I just said are in conflict with one another whatsoever.
So it pains me to see this because my grandfather was a deacon in the Southern Baptist Church.
I have so many wonderful memories growing up, going to vacation Bible school, later teaching vacation Bible school at a Southern Baptist church.
And you all know the history of my pastor and his special relationship with my family.
So it is personal.
But if they can get the Southern Baptist Church, ladies and gentlemen, they can get anything.
And that's why I think we focus on that a little more than anything else.
So they got this resolution on the table.
If they don't pass it, then what's going to happen?
It's already public knowledge that it's out there.
So you know that the Antichrist, Washington Post, and New York Times will condemn the Southern Baptist Church for not condemning its white members.
And certainly the leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention is much more concerned what the Antichrist newspapers think about them than what the actual people who go to the pews are thinking about them.
So that's coming up next week.
We could do it half-cocked tonight, but we're not going to do that.
We're going to see exactly what actually passes.
If this resolution gets out of committee or any other heresies get out of committee and are actually passed, whoa, how did that happen?
That's the end of the first section.
Okay, well, you were just winding down, so it's well, but I was going to toss it over to you for a couple of minutes.
Maybe we played Summer Rain too long.
I don't know.
Well, that's that, folks.
Well, that's what's coming up on the show in the weeks to come.
When we come back, Keith's going to take over.
I'll still be here, of course, but Keith's going to tell us about Comey, about sessions, about the UK elections.
It's a busy night.
And it always.
we'll be right back.
As the United States boldly stepped forward in the glorious light provided by its new constitution in 1787, the nations of the earth were in awe of the newfound strength and hope of this free land.
Today, the nation stands at a crossroads.
A divergence from the original intent put forth in the United States Constitution has brought grave threats to our beloved nation.
A miracle is needed if the United States is to survive.
That miracle is again the pure application of the United States Constitution.
I'm Scott Bradley.
In my To Preserve the Nation book and lecture series, I bring forth truths that will help raise up a new generation of statesmen like those noble Americans who founded this land.
Vigorous application of these principles will invigorate and restore the nation, and we may become again the freest, most prosperous, most respected, and happiest nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com to begin that restoration.
Okay, girls, about finished with your lesson on money.
Daddy, what is a buy-sell spread for gold coins?
Well, when you sell a gold coin to a coin shop that's worth, say, $1,200, you don't actually get $1,200.
But don't worry, we're members of UPMA now, so we don't have to worry about that.
Daddy, why somebody seals that gold?
We don't have any gold at the house.
It's stored safely in the UPMA vault, securely and insured.
But the SP 500 outperformed gold.
Daddy, gold is a bad investment.
Some people do think of it that way, but actually, gold is money.
And as members of the United Precious Metals Association, we can use our gold at any store, just like a credit card.
Or I can ask them to drop it right into Mommy and Daddy's bank account, because we're a UPMA member family.

That's UPMA.org.
From the days of the Romans, there have been legends of a fountain of youth, and now science has found a real answer to slowing the aging process.
I'm Joyce Riley from The Power Hour, and it's so exciting to know that Time Challenger has capitalized on decades' worth of international scientific studies to bring you the most powerful mitochondrial DNA supplement on the market today.
Mitochondrial DNA is the power plant of human cells.
But as we age, we lose more and more of this precious material.
Time Challenger promotes healing and gives cells the power to do their work.
Mental cognition may be enhanced, skin refreshed, blood pressure normalized, and signs of aging might be reduced.
Time Challenger can also provide enhanced recovery for athletes.
Time Challenger, the first step to slow the effects of aging on your body.

Time Challenger just might be your fountain of youth.
It's time to jump back into the political cesspool to be part of the show and have your voice heard around the world.
Call us at 1-866-986-6397.
One more quick word about this, and I promise we'll get off of it until next week.
But I should tell you that I was going to leave the Southern Baptist alone until I read that resolution denouncing white people.
There's another thing in the works.
Russell Moore is coming to Memphis next year and celebrate, not celebration, but to, I guess, a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination.
Basically, all Christians need to be more like King.
Martin Luther King denounced the divinity, publicly denounced the divinity of Jesus Christ.
He didn't believe he was born of a virgin, didn't believe he was resurrected.
All right.
And so while the Southern Baptists believe that their Confederate fathers are burning in hell, they tell us that we should emulate a guy who wasn't even a Christian at all.
So I just, I'm sorry, folks.
I can't take that without fighting back.
So if we have to train our canons on the cucked out apostate church, then so be it, because here's the reason.
We have got to take back our institutions.
We've got to take back our universities, our media, our churches.
We have got to retake everything.
And what they want us to do is to read all of this garbage and leave.
They want us to leave the church.
They want to leave our institutions.
Well, what they're really wanting to do, James.
You can't do it.
This is the last bastion.
Like you said, in Christendom, in Christianity, except for groups that really don't have much of a presence in the West, like the Russian Orthodox Church or the Eastern Orthodox Church, any church denomination that has its roots in Western Europe or in Europe generally and in America has been co-opted with the long march through the institutions of cultural Marxism.
Now, groups like my church, the Episcopal Church, were among the first to follow the Congregational Church.
All the northern churches went first.
Then they got the southern churches.
Now, they were repulsed by another latter-day John Sobieski or Charles Martel by the name of Adrian Rogers in the Southern Baptist denomination back in the 80s.
There was a big struggle for power over the moderator of the Southern Baptist Convention back in the early 80s.
And Adrian Rogers of Memphis in Bellevue Baptist Church, the largest Southern Baptist church in the world, prevailed.
And Adrian Rogers, as the heroic individual he was, promptly drove all the liberals and moderates out of the Baptist seminaries.
But you got to hand it to the liberals.
They're nothing if not patient.
Remember, the hate crime law went before Congress 43 times and was voted down 43 times, but they persevered and got it passed in the 44th opportunity.
And it's been no looking back since then.
No one ever retakes lost ground in the culture war, James.
And now they have set their sights on the last bastion of common sense in fundamentalist Protestantism, which is the Southern Baptist Church, at least the one that has any size and heft to it.
And Russell Moore is basically bought, sold, and paid for by George Soros.
George Soros is one Jewish culturally and ethnically, and two, an atheist.
And his organization, his part of the Southern Baptist Convention, has an annual budget of almost $4 million.
This is when the International Missionary Baptist Board across the world is basically calling back missionaries because they don't have the money to fund them, but they do have enough money to fund Russell Moore's liberal agenda for the church.
Well, I think we've got to get off of this because we're saving a lot of this for next week.
And believe me, this is just a scratch of the iceberg, ladies and gentlemen.
But if you are a believer, please pray that there will be some divine intervention at the Southern Baptist Convention this week and that Russell Moore is removed.
I understand, Keith, why for 10 straight years, 10 consecutive years, memberships and baptisms have declined for 10 consecutive years in the Southern Baptist Convention.
I can tell you, white people don't want to go to church and be told they have to hate themselves in order to go to heaven.
They don't want to hear it.
Well, we're the only people that do that.
We're the only people that are not allowed to have our own institutions.
No one is trying to integrate black denominations, for example.
Nobody in black denominations is calling down fire and brimstone upon the heads of their congregations because birds of a feather flock together, as we all know, is normal and natural.
Any expression of racial solidarity is not only tolerated, it's applauded and even encouraged by our cultural elite, except when it comes to white Gentiles.
And it's time to call out this hypocrisy and to recapture our institutions.
When they get our institutions, we're basically people without a culture.
And that's what they want.
They want to acculturate us.
They want to strip our culture from us.
And then we're going to be subjected to the horrors of persecution, just like the white people of South Africa and the former Odisha are today.
Well, I can tell you there is one thing you can do, ladies and gentlemen.
These people more than most, more than politicians, to be sure, are swayed by public opinion and by blowback.
There is a hashtag that the Southern Baptist Convention is using on Twitter.
And of course, if you're familiar with Twitter, you know, when you put your tweet with a hashtag, it groups all of those tweets into a conversational thread.
The hashtag for the Southern Baptist Convention is hashtag SBC17.
Hashtag SBC17.
Now, this is what for the people who are going there, people who want to comment on what's going on at the Southern Baptist Convention on Twitter, this is the hashtag they're using.
I want you to use it.
Would you believe this, ladies and gentlemen?
You say we don't have an impact?
I started tweeting about the Southern Baptist Convention's antics last night.
The number one hashtag in that thread is something from me.
The second most liked or retweeted hashtag in that thread right now, the top hashtag return, is from Michael Hill.
So we're actually got more people commenting in favor of what we're saying than the leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention.
So we need you to get on Twitter, hashtag SBC17, and sound off and let them know what you think.
All right, Keith, we got to get on this.
James Comey, what's going on?
Big hearings, big testimony this week.
Break it down for us.
Okay, it was the light that failed.
James Comey basically laid an egg, wasn't able to convince not even liberals with his self-manufactured persona of himself as this boy scout who, like Dr. Pepper, is so misunderstood.
He's actually a heroic guy standing up.
He came across as a whining weenie, which is what he is.
I was reading our local fish rap in Memphis, a communist appeal today, and even they said that it looks like we're stuck with Trump because, you know, no fire came out of that Flint and Steel enterprise that was supposed to come out of the Comey observation.
You know, the left invested an awful lot in this pipe dream.
Had liberals in the Northeast, for example, and on the West Coast actually hiring out bars so people could watch this and cheer it on.
It was supposed to be the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.
Well, they're going to have to come up with something else.
You know, they can make outrageous claims like he was paying for prostitutes to urinate on his bed in Russia.
But, you know, did you watch Megan Kelly's interview of, you know, Vladimir Putin?
That was great.
Basically, he said, I think you people have lost your mind over here.
I don't even know Donald Trump.
I've never spoken directly to Donald Trump, either by phone or in person.
He said, this is the craziest load of baloney that you could ever imagine.
And it is.
I guarantee you, if somebody urinated on Donald Trump's bed, Donald Trump's reaction would be to sue them or the hot hotel chain that allowed it to happen.
This is crazy, you know, and there's nothing that the left comes up.
You know, they are, you know, you cannot embarrass the left.
It doesn't matter how ridiculous they make themselves.
They portray themselves as heroic.
They have a template that they're going to wear out, which is race, race, race.
They're going to try to, you know, Donald Trump is a racist.
Donald Trump is a sexist, which is, I guess, next in their list of deplorable conducts that they have in their hierarchy.
You know, they're going to continue.
He's a homophobe.
He's this, he's that.
They can't prove any of this, but it doesn't stop it from being front-page news every week.
We'll talk more about Comey, Donald Trump, and current events after these words from our sponsor.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
With Liberty News this hour, I'm Dennis Daly.
Former President Obama addressed the Chamber of Commerce of Montreal this week.
During the speech, he expressed his disappointment about President Trump's decision to leave the Paris Accord.
He made it clear that he expects America to rejoin the agreement when there's a different president.
He cautioned against embracing isolationism, saying there was a better way, quote, in creating an international order that was based not just on self-interest but principles.
The former president insisted that the world leaders must do more to combat income inequity all over the world.
Well, as you know, a lot of words going back and forth during the past 24 hours, particularly about the testimony of former FBI Director Comey.
A bar in Washington, D.C. got very creative.
The bar expected President Trump would tweet some comments about the testimony, so D.C.'s Union pub bought a round of drinks for everyone in the house every time the president said anything on Twitter about the testimony.
The offer began at 9:30 yesterday morning and ran till late afternoon.

Folks, I'm so happy to be here with you tonight.
I really mean that.
I am happy to be here every Saturday night.
I love you folks.
We're in this together, and we're going to win this thing.
We're going to win.
We're going to turn everything around.
It's just a matter of who's going to have to get in our way and who we're going to have to move out of the way.
It would be nice.
Sure, it would be nice if we didn't have to battle the church in addition to everybody else.
But if we have to retake the church, we'll retake it.
We'll retake the other things.
Everybody that's not a Southern Baptist has been fighting the left for time.
Time immemorium, okay?
At least well before my date of birth.
So, you know, just welcome to the club.
And I've always told James, what made you think that the Southern Baptists were somehow going to be exempt from targeting by the leftist radicals that have infiltrated every other denomination and every other institution of our people?
Southern white Gentiles have basically been dispossessed by Jewish power and influence, which is the driving force behind the progressive or left-wing or liberal agenda.
So, you know, welcome to our world.
You can tell how bad we want to veer back into that rabbit hole, folks.
We're going to have some more to say about that next week.
But we're trying to stay disciplined tonight.
Good article on faithandheritage.com.
It's titled Eight Takeaways from the Comey Investigation.
Here are some of the points, Keith.
I'd like to get you to respond to them.
Let me finish and I'll toss it to you.
Trump's presidency is not dead.
It hasn't lived up to our expectations, but the man is alive and he got a second lease on life from the Comey testimony.
The left is implicitly admitting defeat by changing its accusations from a Trump collusion with Russia to obstruction of an investigation.
Loretta Lynch, who served as Barack Obama's second attorney general, will now come under intense scrutiny since Comey testified that she urged him to downplay his investigation into Hillary Clinton last fall.
James Comey has no friends left, another takeaway observed by FaithandHeritage.com.
He's been so Machiavellian that he double-crossed both his former employees on the left, including Obama, Lynch, and Clinton, and his more recent employers on the right, such as Trump.
The liberal press has again proven to be a pack of liars with an agenda whose name, in whose name they'll bend anything.
And let's see.
Comey came out and explicitly said that despite his belief that the Russian government hacked into the Democratic National Committee's computers and tried to worm interstate voter files, he still held to his testimony earlier this spring that the Russians did not change a single vote on election day.
I guess my biggest thing I'd like to focus on that, Keith, well, first of all, tell me if there's anything in there that you agree with, disagree with, want to point out, want to add a little more attention to.
But I would say, do you think because of Comey that Loretta Lynch, and by extension even Hillary Clinton, may be facing more hard time and disruption?
It will be a miracle if Hillary Clinton really suffers any intense scrutiny by the espionage agencies of the United States, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, ICE, you know, ATF, whatever.
That's not going to happen.
Comey, though, is a discredited brand.
He's a weapon that didn't work.
He's like the Edsel or something.
You know, he was going to be the new thing, and he just flopped.
So they're going to have to go back to the drawing board, but go back to the drawing board.
They will.
I guarantee you they will do it.
They have this impeachment template.
They think they have worked it all out.
They did it against Nixon, who won 49 states to one.
The only other person that won 49 states to one was Ronald Reagan in his second term, just like Nixon did in his second term.
These second terms are when the left gets desperate, when liberalism is basically shown to be a losing hand, and the people of America, who are still overwhelmingly white Gentiles, get on board.
When that happens, then they've got to stage a coup d'etat.
And that's what they plan to do via impeachment.
It's kind of a soft coup d'etat.
Pat Buchanan wrote a great article about the effort to impeach Trump and what it will be.
And, you know, I think that he was listening to our show last week because this came out after our show, and we were talking about Tennessee Johnson, Andrew Johnson, in that show, if you'll recall, James.
And lo and behold, Pat Buchanan pulls out a bromide about Tennessee Johnson and calls him Teddy Johnson in his article.
Keith, we know Donald Trump never misses a broadcast of the political cesspool.
And Pat Buchanan is actually in here in the studio with us every week.
That's a little-known secret.
That's right.
Okay, so final score on Comey.
Didn't hurt Trump, I don't guess.
No, didn't lay a glove on him, but the left is trying.
The New York Times, bless our heart, are trying to say that there was something in it, but it's fool's gold.
It's just not going to work.
And I think that the more reasonable voices on the left have realized that this is a hand that just won't play.
It's a dog that won't hunt.
Now, they're going to come up with something else.
Believe me, they haven't given up.
They're going to do something.
And it's going to be the soft coup d'etat.
They're going to find it.
See, the problem with impeachment is nobody knows what high crimes and misdemeanors are.
But misdemeanors, in other words, if Donald Trump didn't register his car properly, are they going to try to impeach him for that?
Who knows what they have up their sleeve?
But nonetheless, they will find something and they'll go into high dudgeon about it, hide and watch, as they say.
So Comey is Comey is a weapon that won't work, but they're going to find some other weapon.
They're going to come up with some other secret weapon.
And, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if the left didn't base their fixation on Russian hacking on comments we made in the run-up to the election saying that Democratic voter fraud and election tampering through minority voting fraud is taken as a given.
It's something we can't even talk about.
I said, in this election, we had a possibility of something being done on behalf of a right-wing candidate.
through Russia or through Julian Assange and stuff like this.
And as a result of all that, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if the Daily Caller or Huffington Post hadn't been listening to us and got their whole theme of Russian hacking from the political cesspool.
You know, there's no telling how influential our show is.
We are leading the trending hashtag on the Southern Baptist Church's convention in 2017 right now.
We actually have more people retweeting and liking what we're saying about the convention than they are the actual pastors and leaders, so-called leaders who are there.
Because they know they're trying to muddy the waters.
They're using the octopus defense.
They're trying to obfuscate what they're doing.
But basically what they're trying to do, Southern Baptists, wake up.
They're trying to steal your denomination out from under you.
All they want you to do is contribute money.
And like we've always said, the only sound the liberal fears is the click of a closing purse.
And that's the best way to get these people to see the light and come to Jesus.
Well, I'll tell you, we've got to still cover before the end of this hour what's going on with Jeff Sessions in the U.K. elections.
But God help me if I don't want to get on this topic.
Now, I'm going to say one more thing about this.
Just one more.
Believe me.
Until the next one.
Until the next thing I say about it.
Jonathan's face is turned red as a volcano.
He's about to explain.
Well, listen.
So the Southern Baptists have this resolution that denounces nationalism.
Now, I want to see every American flag taken down at every Southern Baptist church.
Actually, I really do.
Well, apparently the American flag has joined the Confederate flag and a flag that is incompatible with the Christian cross.
But they say we denounce perverse nationalism, quote unquote.
Well, now listen to this, Keith.
This is on their own website.
Listen to the list of groups who are not only allowed to attend as delegates to the Southern Baptist Convention's 2017 confab in Phoenix this week, but they have official events within the convention itself.
Listen to this.
Now, nationalism is a sin.
Race is a sin.
Homophobism is a sin.
That'll be next week's next year's resolution, I'm sure.
Well, no, no, that it's not a sin.
He's already told people.
But listen, he told Southern Baptists they need to attend a gay wedding so they can experience tolerance and celebrate diversion.
Yeah, no, that's coming.
That's next year.
But right now, nationalism is a sin.
So therefore, I'd like to see the following racist groups immediately expelled from the Southern Baptist Convention.
Listen to groups that are official presenters at the convention.
Asian Baptists, the Chinese Baptist Fellowship, Fellowship of Native American Baptists, Filipino International Mission Board Baptists, Hispanic Baptists, Korean Baptists, National African American Baptists.
Where are the white Southern Baptists?
The silence is deafening.
Well, and I'll tell you, the Southern Baptist Convention is 95% white.
Now, they could say whatever they want to.
It's just not true.
It's a white man's church.
See, all of this begins with, and the sin of Russell Moore is the ninth commandment, I believe it is, thou shalt not covet.
He doesn't want the flock that God has given him to minister to.
He's kind of like Jonah.
Remember, Jonah was going to be sent to spread the faith in a land with people in it he despised and he wanted to buck the will of God.
So he went in the boat in the other direction and God had the whale swallow him up.
What have we got in store?
What does God have in store for Russell Moore?
We'll tell you after this.
No, no, no, we'll tell you next week.
Hopefully it's another whale, though.
But we'll be back.
Thank God for the commercial break.
Small miracles.
So we can get off this because we're talking about it way too much.
Too much of a teaser.
Sessions and the UK election.
A bulldog with a bloody bone on this.
We won't let go.
We fought.
We learned.
We struggled.
We won.
Despite Obama's best efforts, the newspaper of the human resistance survives.

It was never our destiny to stop the age of Obama.
It was merely to survive it.
Together.
Together.
Every day I wake up.
It's almost like a battle.
Just like, well, you know, I could do this today.
I could go get drunk.
I don't like bear.
I'm an alcoholic because I can't, you know, stop drinking because it alters my mind, but I don't like alcohol.
And I had to keep telling myself that, you know, this is okay.
Everybody does this.
My whole life was just a big lie.
I can't control if I do take that drink because I'm an addict and I can't.
I admit, yesterday's messed me up.
I don't have a very good memory.
I have a hard time remembering things when I learn.
I can't concentrate on one thing for more than five or ten minutes.
You have fun until you hit rock bottom and it's not fun anymore.
I remember sitting in assemblies about drugs and I thought that's never going to happen to me.
I'm never going to be like those kids.
Here I am.
The choices that you make are choices you're going to have to live with.
A public service message from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is, you got to take the free test available now.
Get a hold of Kurt Crosby to learn about it.
The number's 801-669-2211.

Okay, so we spent so much time talking about something that we're talking about next week that we're down to one segment to cover Jeff Sessions and the UK election.
So we got five minutes apiece to cram it in and stay on schedule here.
So nice article, I think, about what's going on with Jeff Sessions at Occidental Descent.
I'll just read a couple of paragraphs.
Let's be real here.
The Trump presidency has been by and large a disappointment despite the boost given to the alt-right thanks to the historical 2016 campaign.
However, a couple of the positives that have most certainly been are the retention of men like Steve Bannon and Jeff Sessions.
Now, as we know, Jeff Sessions offered his resignation as Attorney General to Donald Trump this week.
The friction between the two men stems from the Attorney General's abrupt decision in March to recuse himself from anything related to the Russia investigation, a decision that the president only learned about minutes before Sessions announced it publicly.
Now, that was certainly the most foolish decision ever undertaken by Jeff Sessions in his entire political career.
And Keith will tell you what he thinks that stems from, but this could have repercussions a long time down the road.
Even though Trump has weathered the Comey storm, it's still going to be problematic even going into the 2018 midterm elections.
Well, here's the problem: Trump is absolutely right and correct in hitting dead center in being peeved with Jeff Sessions over his unilateral, unannounced, uncover.
He didn't go to Donald Trump and give him any forewarning about basically disqualifying himself from handling anything to do with the Russian investigation.
That was a bad move.
It may be the one chink in the armor that allows Donald Trump to be impeached eventually.
If he had stayed as tight with his president as Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder, Obama's two attorney generals had, basically, he could have blocked them off.
We had said months ago that the key to the impeachment of Donald Trump would be the appointment of a special counsel, and that that needed to be avoided at all costs.
And lo and behold, Jeff Sessions blindsides President Trump by doing that.
Now, he didn't do it out of any secret desire to be carrying water for the other side the way that this Rossenstein assistant did when he appointed a special counsel.
But what Jeff Sessions was trying to do was to be a holier-than-thou straight shooter following an antique set of ethical values that have no place in dealing with today's left because today's left has no honor.
You don't waste your honor with people that have no honor.
You don't play, you don't get in a boxing match, you don't get in a fight and follow the Marquis de Queensbury rules when you're going against a street fighter who has cage match tactics and believes in no holds barred.
But that was Sessions' big mistake.
And being a government operative rather than a person coming from corporate America, he thought he could get away with doing this, just like all these other people do in the government.
You can't do that.
See, that's what Comey was doing.
Basically, Trump is a business leader.
Nobody in his business organizations is going to do something that could possibly go contrary to his wishes without running it past him first.
That is why he is understandably upset with Sessions, why he fired Comey, why he fired Michael Flynn.
People need to understand that loyalty is first and foremost among virtues in the eyes of Donald Trump.
Jeff Sessions, on the other hand, has done yeoman's work in helping the white Gentile majority of people that voted for Donald Trump by preventing the adulteration of our citizenry with third world immigration.
He's basically put the lid on third world immigration.
Thank heavens for Jeff Sessions.
However, it's very unfortunate, and Trump has every right to be upset with him because of his recusal of himself from being the firewall that he needed to be against a special counsel.
A special counsel is the way they got Richard Nixon.
They've appointed Archibald Cox.
They first of all got John Mitchell fired, basically, because he had a wife who was an Arkansas hick.
That was basically what it came to.
Then they forced him out and then appointed Archibald Cox, his little bowtie-clad draweeb from Yale or Harvard or something.
And then Nixon fired him, and that was a mistake because he was replaced by a real blood-and-fying prosecutor named Leon Jaworski, who really got down to business and laid the groundwork for getting rid of President Nixon, despite the fact that he was endorsed overwhelmingly by the American electorate and won 49 states to one.
Okay, as Keith comes up for air, we have this great resource, great friend, great supporter in London who sends me just the most insightful, it's just a combination of insightfulness, funny humor, on-the-ball commentary.
And he did so again this week with regards to the UK election.
So it would be appropriate for me right now, and in fact, very much a benefit to the show, if I could share with you the opinion of a TPC listener in London on the results of what happened there.
Unfortunately, I can't get my email to come up right now in the studio.
So we need one of those blooper.
What are those blooper audio wah, wah, wah, wah.
We'll just have to turn it over to Keith and see if I don't want to call you a Yankee because you're an American.
If the Confederate Keith can tell us what's going on over there in the UK.
So a lot of people are saying what happened over there is a very bad thing in that the Brexit result is not carried over to do an uncucking on the national level, the parliamentary level, with only minutes remaining this hour.
And if we pull up this email, we'll talk about it later even next week.
What's your take on what happened in the elections in the UK this year?
Well, it's like being upset because the Democrats weren't defeated as soundly as you wish they had been.
But the Labour Party, which is the progressive or liberal party in UK, was repudiated.
Teresa May is going to have to create a coalition with another right-wing party or parties in order to govern effectively.
That's good news from my standpoint because the Tories are cuckservatives extraordinaire.
They are not going to look after the interests of the white population of Great Britain.
On the other hand, some of the other right-wing parties do have that orientation, and it would be wonderful for them to be sharing power, even though they're not really in power, but to have a bigger influence on British policy, both foreign and domestic, which is what I see coming from this.
I'll be interested to see what our commentator on the ground, our man in Havana, or our man in London as it is.
Well, we actually have quite a few listeners in the UK, obviously.
I mean, that's an understatement, but this one in particular in London is just an astute political observer, and he's just a really incredible.
Wow, I don't get you could say a correspondent, but incredible feedback we get from him every week.
Dave, if he impressed you that much, you must remember what he said.
Well, that's why I saved the email so I wouldn't have to commit it to memory.
But it was a good take, of course.
Again, I wasn't over there, so I didn't really pick up on all of it.
There's no computer quite as effective as the one between your ears, James.
That's what you need to email.
That's a good one.
But anyway, maybe somebody can hook me up on Twitter.
I do have my email up on my phone.
The problem is the show's email address is encrypted.
The at thepoliticalcesspool.org email address is encrypted.
James is trying to find a way to get my streams recorded because he will, you know, so he have trouble recalling those.
He gets insights that way, too.
So let me tell you, James, learn from this.
You're going to have to commit these things at least somewhat to memory because you can depend on our technology.
You can't do that.
Everything.
Not first drawers.
That's right.
We are laggards when it comes to technology.
Although we did update our website and archives recently, which, believe me, was like root canals for me.
But it all came up.
It came out better in the end.
Now, see, Sam Bushman, on the other hand, is a tech genius.
Yeah, Sam Bushman is the only reason we are in the 21st century technology-wise.
Yeah, we would be 10 cans and string.
That's right.
Well, anyway, I tell you one thing, another technological advancement.
I might have been the last one to the party, but by God, I came, and that is to the Twitter party.
Now, I've been mentioning Twitter tonight, and that how we're leading the top results for the hashtag SBC17.
Do a tweet, hashtag at SBC17, and then link me into it at James Edwards TPC.
Hey, that's a lot of Twitter lingo for a laggard like me, but I've gotten the hang of it, and we're doing pretty good on Twitter.
I don't tweet as prolific as a lot of the tweeters do, but we've got a presence on there now.
I mean, obviously, look at what's going on right now.
So, if you're listening to the show right now, you're not yet following me on TPC.
Now, Keith doesn't even have email.
I can email.
I can email, but I can text message like a pro.
Yeah, Keith did learn text messaging recently.
So we're getting there.
But what I'm saying is a lot of people don't have Twitter.
Keith, are you on Twitter?
No, sir.
I'm not sure.
That's what I'm talking about.
Well, see, I wasn't on there until about six months ago, so you're okay.
A lot of people aren't on Twitter now.
It's not to rely on things that I'm not proficient in.
If you are on Twitter, though, you need to be following me at James Edwards TPC.
And please, please join us in sounding off on the Southern Baptist Convention.
Do that for me.
We need to get all the static and feedback that they can bear.
Hashtag SBC17.
I'll be checking my Twitter feed and that hashtag during the break.
Make me proud, kids.
We'll be back with the second hour right after this.
Another hour of the political cesspool is in the can, but don't go away.
