You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Happy New Year, everybody.
It's a new year with the same dreams here for all of us here at the Political Success Pool Radio Program.
And our listening audience is certainly included in that.
Let's make this new year of dreams a great one together, shall we?
Welcome to the first broadcast of TPC in 2017.
Last year was by far and away the most incredible that we've ever enjoyed.
What can you expect from this program in the year to come?
Well, we'll talk a little bit more about that as the program goes on this evening, as we settle back into business as usual.
But first, I just have to share with you that, and I wrote something to this effect on the website on Friday.
Never have I felt more honored to serve as your host.
The outpouring of love that we received from supporters across the country and around the world during the month of December, but especially the final week of December, was absolutely record-breaking.
I am thrilled and relieved to report that thanks to you, this program reached its financial goal for the fourth quarter of 2016, which will give us the ability to meet our operational expenses until the springtime.
So profuse and sincere appreciation goes to each of you who made that selfless decision to support our groundbreaking work.
We are a family here, and you are an inspiration to all of us here in the studio.
What you give to this show is always treasured, and every cent will always be wisely allocated.
You've given us the ability to meet the ever-increasing cost of production while providing us with enough to unroll a few special projects over the course of the coming weeks.
We'll talk to you a little bit more about that.
Stay tuned for details.
But as you know, it's very important to me that I always take the time to thank you for making possible our dreams, our advancements, our victories.
We hope to continue to serve as your voice in the mainstream media for many, many years to come.
But we know for sure we'll be here for the next few months as a result of your generosity.
Those who contributed at the appropriate levels will be receiving our incentive gifts in the coming days.
Stay tuned for that in your mailbox.
And of course, we here, yours truly, Keith Alexander, Eddie, Winston, the whole crew, Sam, Scoop, Sean Berg, and Jim Lancia, on and on.
We promise you another year of programming filled with pleasant surprises, thrilling accomplishments, and of course, the razor-tongued commentary and superb guests that you have always come to expect from our show.
Come what may, we will face this future together.
As I was telling people the show started, we love this festive time of year that we have just exited from.
It really starts on this broadcast around Halloween.
We have the fun Halloween anniversary show because our anniversary coincides at the end of October, which is around the time of Halloween, of course.
So we always have a lot of fun with that show at the end of October.
Then we get into the Christmas season, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve.
This year, we actually had a Christmas Eve broadcast and a New Year's Eve broadcast because those two holidays happened to fall on a Saturday.
I was hoping to get one more fun festive show, the first show of the new year where we kind of spent all of last week's show looking back on the accomplishments of 2016.
I really wanted to spend the first show of the new year laying out for you our goals, what we hope to accomplish, some of the special things that we hope to do this year.
But alas, diversity has intruded on those plans.
We just don't have the time to cover it to the extent that I wanted to because of two very big events that took place over the course of the last seven days that we will be breaking down extensively tonight with Keith Alexander, with Sean Bergen, with Jim Lancia, with Eddie the Bombardier Miller.
And we'll tell you what those are if you don't already know in just a moment.
But first, I want to read two quick final letters that came in right around Christmas time.
These are great.
Merry Christmas, James, Keith, and Eddie, for several years.
I've heard Eddie talk about the churches sending the rescue missions to Haiti and watched it in my own church.
In light of this, I've introduced my own welfare system for white people that I hope others will follow, those of us in the middle class.
In Utah, Idaho, and Montana, it's still possible to see white people working as maids in hotels and other service jobs.
So what I do is I overtip these brothers and sisters, sometimes leaving even $20 over the recommended amount.
I also tell the blondes and redheads that they're becoming an endangered species and that they need to have kids that look just like them.
Thanks for all the great work.
That comes from Jeff in Utah.
And finally, December 28th, this letter was dated from Keith in Maryland.
What a year it's been.
Time magazine's covers had Donald Trump having a meltdown in August, a total meltdown in October, and president in November.
Christmas has been returning to retail advertising, and the American public put a populist sounding racist in the White House.
But will it last, regardless of whoever Trump turns out to be as our next president, his election does still represent an extraordinarily loud statement by the frustrated American voter.
I have no doubt Christmas will remain under siege.
Trump will be ridiculed by Saturday Night Live, and we'll need brave advocates to fight for old-fashioned values and for our European children.
Your supporters look forward to the political cesspool monitoring onward, fighting for the European family and their grandchildren.
The smiling, bright faces of today's and tomorrow's European children will depend on what you do today.
Thank you for all TPC does and will continue to do for European families.
Thank you and Happy New Year, Keith, in Maryland.
Well, of course, as I said, thank y'all for a great fundraising drive in December, for a wonderful 2016, for a great festive holiday season from Halloween to Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's, first show of the new year.
But it is back to business as usual tonight as we're going to be talking about the horrific black-on-white kidnapping and torture of a white mentally handicapped man in Chicago.
We're going to talk about that for the bulk of the show.
Also, I didn't even know a hybrid like this existed, but apparently there was a Latino Muslim that opened fire in Fort Lauderdale, killing at least five people.
So we'll be talking about that as well.
So instead of having a fun show, it's back to business as usual in the Cesspool with two stories just like that.
But Keith, before we start unpacking those, I want to say hello to you.
And very quickly before our first break, and I'm going to turn you loose on that first story, the one out of Chicago, any resolutions for you in the new year, Keith, and any particular hopes that you would have for the show to accomplish over the course of the next 12 months.
Get more focused on business and make more money.
You know, we do this as an avocation, and it's real easy to let this start taking precedence over money making.
You and I have both been guilty of this in the past.
We've got, you know, we've got families to support, bills to pay, and things like this.
So we've got to strike the right balance.
I wish that we were like the left and supported by somebody like, you know, the people that support the Southern Poverty Law Center and whatnot.
But, you know, alas, that's not the case.
Anything you want the show to do between now and this show next year?
I want us to basically take the lead in holding Trump's feet to the fire and make sure that I think I don't mean to interrupt.
I think that is a perfect resolution.
We were his biggest cheerleaders and supporters on the AM airwaves in 2016.
Now we go to loyal opposition.
Stay tuned, folks.

My sister began smoking because of friends.
I don't think any less burd because she smokes, but it's been really hard because I know she could have done better if she hadn't chose to smoke.
She's trying to quit, actually, right now, but it's a really hard process, and she's down to a couple of cigarettes a day, so she's doing really good, but it's been a really hard thing in my family, actually.
It's caused a lot of problems.
My sister's smoking definitely hurt my parents.
I'd come home sometimes.
My mom would just be in tears.
Smoking hurts a lot of people, most of whom don't even smoke.
I definitely think my religion has played a role in me not smoking.
I'm a Christian, and I believe I'm better because I don't smoke.
Smoking hurts your friends, your family.
It's not worth it in the long run.
And you may not realize it now if you are smoking, but you will.
Smoking.
If you think you're old enough to start, you're smart enough to stop.
public service message from this station and the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints it's time to jump back into the political zest pool to be part of the show and have your voice heard around the world Call us at 1-866-986-6397.
Okay, everybody, welcome back to the first show of 2017.
And so there in that first segment, we, well, we wrapped up the festive season.
Now it's time to get into business as usual.
So here's what we've got.
Jared Taylor really in an article that was published at American Renaissance, the title of it, Blacks Torture White Man and Say F White People.
And I think we all know what the F word is.
This is what Jared wrote.
There's been much to learn from official reactions to the abduction and torture of a mentally handicapped white man by four blacks in Chicago.
The facts are clear.
On Tuesday, police found an incoherent, bleeding white man wandering the streets.
After they took him to the hospital, they learned that he had been held for four or five hours by blacks who live streamed repeated assaults on Facebook.
They tied him up, beat him, kicked him, and cut his scalp with a knife.
They shouted expletives at him, expletives towards Donald Trump, and said that the man represents Trump.
They called him white boy and forced him to drink out of a toilet bowl.
They made him say expletive Donald Trump and I love black people.
He screamed and begged for mercy as one of the men threatened to shank him.
This is hilarious, said a woman who took part.
The downstairs neighbors threatened to call the police because of all the noise, and two blacks went downstairs and broke into the neighbor's apartment.
The police came and the white man ran into the street where other officers eventually found him.
Thanks to the video, police quickly arrested two men and two women, all 18 years old.
Last night, the police held a briefing.
This was actually last week, I should say.
Even though probably all of the journalists have seen the video, the police refuse to acknowledge race of either the perpetrators or the victim.
They are so used to ignoring race, so long as it reflects badly on blacks, that they could not even bring themselves to say the words white or black, even in a case as racially charged as this.
Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson is black.
This is what he said.
I think it's just stupidity.
People ranting about something that they think might make a headline.
At this point, we don't have anything concrete to point that this is a hate crime.
But we'll be investigating the facts and let the facts guide us.
Detective Commander Kevin Duffy is white, and this is what he said.
You know, although they're adults, kids make stupid decisions.
Whatever that means.
Now, let's imagine that after Barack Obama's election, four white men did the same to a dim-witted black.
Would anyone say then that it was just stupidity?
This morning, Chicago police spokesman Anthony Gugliome said that the four blast suspects did make terrible racist statements, but police think that they attacked the man because he has special needs, not because he was white.
During the video, though, the blacks repeatedly called the man white boy, and a woman called him a expletive white thug.
Not once in the half-hour video did they call him a lame brain or an idiot or a nutcase or retard or use language exactly to suggest that they were attacking him because of his handicap.
Finally, the 18-year-olds actually were charged with a hate crime, as well as kidnapping, unlawful restraint, burglary, battery with a deadly weapon, etc.
But press reports wasn't clear whether the hate was on account of race or disability.
So, Keith, from there, I will turn it over to you.
But one thing that Jared wraps this up with is something that has to be mentioned.
So far, President Obama, who famously said of Trayvon Martin, if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon, and who said Michael Brown's death stains the heart of black children, has said nothing about a hate crime that took place in the city that he used to call home.
His spokesman couldn't even confirm whether or not Obama had even watched the video.
In five days, Mr. Obama will be in Chicago to give his presidential farewell address.
So, Keith, I ask you, what are the chances that he will mention this crime that took place in his own backyard?
Well, he's mentioned it offhand, but again, he said he has downplayed it.
The silence is deafening.
Just think about this is the 10th year anniversary of the Knoxville horror, in which a white couple was tortured for days, had things like Drano poured down their throat, and eventually killed by four black thugs again, a mixed group, women, and men.
And of course, that would have gotten no play at all had it not been for the, I guess, the beginnings of what they now call the alt-right.
Groups like American Renaissance, us, and others brought this to the public's attention.
But even then, it was like some underground story.
They will go, and what the police chief in Chicago said is so typical, a black police chief who wants to attribute this particular crime on anything except race.
They don't want white people to be the victims and black people to be the perpetrators, even though the language of the federal hate crime law specifically says if you are persecuted or if you are targeted for a crime because of your race, that there's a violation.
They want that, you know, they want to make it rather than race neutral so that it could protect anyone, basically just to be a law to punish whites and to reward blacks and potentially Hispanics or Asians or whatnot.
But basically, it's a black-white thing.
Basically, what they're trying to do is they're trying to criminalize political incorrectness, and they want to use it for that purpose.
And, you know, this brings up the Dylan Roof case.
This may be the one good thing that could come out of that whole nightmarish scenario, which is he could challenge the federal hate crime law, which is, you know, being used to enhance his punishments, supposedly, as part of the indictment that was brought against him.
It's obvious that even though this is a race-neutral statute, it's only being prosecuted or used against white people.
And there were plenty of cases during the civil rights era in which they said otherwise neutral laws were being used predominantly against black people and that that was a violation of their civil rights.
This is a perfect example.
This is a perfect opportunity to overturn that federal hate crimes law.
Remember, this is a law that was brought before Congress 43 times and defeated 43 times.
And then with the patience of the devil himself, the left brought it and finally got it passed on the 44th try.
And they're using it exclusively against white people in the United States.
That's why it's so important that Jeff Sessions become the Attorney General.
He could basically forget about every other type of criminal prosecution under federal law that there is and focus every attorney general's office, district attorney general for the western district of Tennessee, for example, or in New York, to prosecuting black-on-white hate crimes under the federal hate crime law.
This is like the domestic violence laws that were passed back in the 60s and 70s by feminists.
They thought that they were going to capture a lot of white guys with these domestic violence law violations and enhancements.
Instead, they found that their dragnet was scooping in disproportionate numbers of blacks and Hispanics.
And this was something of an embarrassment to them.
They didn't like that.
But that's the way the mop flops.
That's the way the cookie crumbles.
That's the way life is.
Likewise, when it comes to racially motivated crime, black-on-white racially motivated crime far outnumbers any other type of racially motivated crime.
And therefore, most of the prosecution should be against blacks, James.
Just like this shows.
Excellent commentary, Keith.
Once again, and we have Matthew Copperhead on the line.
We're going to get to him straight after the next break.
It took us a little bit to unpack that after the opening segment tonight.
But basically what you have here, blacks kidnap a white man, beat him, make him drink toilet water, shout F-white.
Tried to scalp him.
Cops, not sure, though, that this is a hate crime.
And if it is, it's probably because he was mentally disabled and not because he was white.
Or it was.
It shows you the stunning dishonesty of our authorities.
Exactly.
What's the opposite of a hate crime?
This could have been a love crime, I guess.
But the cops excusing it.
Well, it's just stupidity.
Kids do dumb things.
Kids do the darndest things, Dark Link letters.
Again, now think if it had been four whites abusing the city.
It would have dominated the news cycle for a solid month.
Obama certainly isn't saying that if he had sons, they would have looked like these four thugs.
Jesse Lee Peterson, any public official or media personality who refuses to call the torture of this white man at Chicago hate crime should be shunned and shamed.

Hillary Clinton won the aggregate popular vote in November, but Donald Trump carried an overwhelming majority of counties.
Republicans now control a majority of the state houses, and in some states control both the executive and legislative branches.
Sandwiched between the GOP-controlled federal government and Republican-led state governments are a number of large municipalities that are governed by Democrats, and they may soon see their hands tied by preemption laws enacted by Republican legislatures.
The Hill points out that those laws would prevent cities and counties from passing new measures governing everything from taxes to environmental regulations and social issues.
Many Republican legislatures complain that liberal cities and counties vastly overstepped their bounds by implementing new taxes on sodas and sugary beverages by raising local minimum wages or through strict new environmental regulations.
Under the federalist principle, such enactments, while liable to criticism as foolish or counterproductive, would be less dangerous at the local level than at the state level.
Furthermore, many causes traditionally associated with the GOP have worked through municipalities to circumvent liberal state governments.
For instance, grassroots conservatives have promoted measures allowing cities to opt out of state-level smart growth planning policies.

Welcome back, everybody, to the Political Cessal first show of the new year, Saturday, January 7th.
James Edwards, Keith Alexander in studio.
As I said at the very top of the show in the opening segment, thank you so much.
Thank you so much for making 2016 such a great year.
Thank you for giving us such an outpouring of love and support financially, prayerfully, and otherwise during December to help us make our financial obligations for the next couple of months and stay on the air and pay production costs and all of that other good stuff.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
But back to business as usual tonight.
Matt the Copperhead, you were listening during that last segment.
Great to have you on on the first show of the year.
What do you make of the situation in Chicago?
Well, Happy New Year, James and Keith.
How you doing, brothers?
Well, we'd be doing better if we could have some fun, but like I said, diversity waits for no man.
Diversity, absolutely.
That's what it's all about.
If you embrace it, you eventually die.
Nah, seriously, this is, you know, people were waking up.
And I think even the normies, conservative types, libertarians always shirk the race.
The only important issue that surrounds us, and it's in our face all the time, is race, right?
I think even they're seeing the light of day on this and realize that King's Dream is just a damn nightmare.
Well, Matt, this is Keith.
Basically, you can't ignore race.
The other side won't let you.
They've decided that's the battlefield that they want to fight on.
It's like you have a duel.
They've chosen the weapon.
The weapon is race.
And that's what the cultural Marxists have decided to build their revolution on as the great fault line in human society.
And you can either have everybody be colorblind or else everybody needs to be race conscious.
You can't.
Otherwise, if you're colorblind and the other side, the left, is racially charged, it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
I want to ask you this, Matt.
I want to ask you this, because you're part of the team here with TPC.
You're part of the family, but you're also not in the studio with us tonight, so you're not going to be tainted by perhaps some of the things we were saying off the air with regard to Trump.
What's your opinion?
And it can be good, bad, or indifferent, and there's no wrong answer, but your opinion on Trump.
I couldn't help but notice, and I'd like to get your take on this as just as someone, your correspondent, but you're a caller, you're a listener, you're all these things.
You represent the audience.
So, what's your take on this?
Trump has been unusually silent after this.
The silence is deafening.
I'm not sure.
No Twitter comments.
Yeah, okay.
So, this is, and we posted this, or we will post this next week.
So, he's not tweeted anything about the kidnapping up there in Chicago.
This was a huge test.
It's been a disappointment so far.
Hunter Wallace has posted something about this on Occidental Descent.
This is normally the kind of stuff that Trump would tweet about.
In fact, just a couple of days ago, he threatened Mayor Rahm Emanuel with federal intervention unless he brings down Chicago's soaring murder rate.
Given his interest in Chicago's gang violence, it's strange to me that Trump would have nothing to say about a white kid who was tortured for six hours by black thugs who were beating him in Trump's name and who forced him to say F-Trump on camera with a knife held to his throat in Chicago, of all places.
Which is what Trump has had an interest there.
So, the question to you is, Matt, what's up with that?
Now, I suspect it's because Trump has surrounded himself with cuck advisors like Rance Prievis, who's probably telling him not to stir up anything that would be racially polarizing, that he's the president of all the country now.
We got to unify the country.
That certainly wasn't the Republican Party's take after the Dylan Roof shooting when the Republican Party stood in solidarity to blame the Confederate.
Yeah, an excuse to dismantle everything Confederate that existed in America, particularly in the South.
So, anyway, Matt, I rambled on too long with that, but Trump has not said a word one way or another about what's happened in Chicago.
Your take.
The silence is deafening.
You guys are right on that fact.
You're very right there.
Silence is most definitely deafening.
And I am concerned about the people he's surrounding himself.
And obviously, he brought in Rance Prievis being the ultimate cuck, but a lot of other cucks that he's surrounded himself.
But I think, you know, if he can get Jeff Session cleared for the Senate and Sessions becomes our Attorney General, he'll have a lot more room to work with and give carte blanche to Sessions to do with who you guys were talking about at the last segment.
And that's my hope.
But, of course.
Well, he's aware.
He's a Southerner and he's aware of race.
He's not afraid of race.
And quite frankly, the federal law has to be enforced even-handedly between races.
If there are blacks who are targeting whites to commit criminal acts against them because of their race, that's a clear violation of the law as written, and it needs to be prosecuted.
And I'll say this about what you said, Matt.
We want to be fair here.
Of course, you know, our well, I guess it wasn't really much of an association.
The media certainly made it into one, but we were tied to the hip with Donald Trump all through 2016.
You were, of course, at the Republican convention with us, and the media even went so far as to say we were one of the top 25 media outlets responsible for Trump.
So we did everything we could to make sure Trump beat Hillary, and I'm glad that we did.
I don't regret any of that.
But the thing is, we're not acolytes.
If Trump does things we like, we're going to give him a pat on the back and cheer him on.
If he does things that concern us, we're going to share those concerns with our audience.
That's what honest people do.
We're not going to be in the tank for Trump.
He does things that are good for the country.
We're going to be behind him.
If he does things that we think he could improve upon, then we're going to address that as well.
So in this case, we're certainly still glad that we did what we did in 2016 and that he beat Hillary.
But in this case, it's a little unusual.
Here's what I would say real quickly.
Let me just say this.
Here's what he needs to do.
He has set the template.
Fearlessness is effective.
Don't hold back on any type of criticism.
Don't worry about how it's going to play with the politically correct crowd.
This is a perfect example of him to be able to make a breakthrough on race relations using his own template, but he's not doing it.
And Matt may be right.
Look, he goes into office in a couple of weeks.
There's not much he can do.
He's not even the president yet.
Maybe he's biding his time and he's going to turn sessions loose and he's going to be the law and order candidate that he promised us he would be.
But the question is, is every terrible crime that happens to blacks, like in the Dylan Roof case, a national tragedy, while even the most shocking crimes that happen to whites unworthy of presidential attention.
Matt, you get the final word this segment.
Okay, my one bit of advice, and what I'll just put out there in the atmosphere for Donald Trump, our next president, is this.
In regards to race relations, when it deals with black criminal thuggery, speak out against it.
Get behind prosecuting us as hate crimes because what the hell do you have to lose?
Give them no quarter.
That's right.
He is already, I mean, the left and the cucks and everyone else are already saying he's a racist.
He has nothing to lose.
Do the right thing.
Amen.
Represent us.
He's our president.
I think Matt hit the nail on the head.
And we will see.
You know, we've even gotten some blowback from our own audience.
I mean, when you have an audience as big as ours, you have to take the bitter with the better.
Obviously, our audience is the most supportive audience in all of AM Talk Radio.
The audience of this network, this show, Sam's show, truly second to none.
There's no doubt about that.
But that's not to say, just like we're not Trump's Republicans.
They're not ours.
And so if they do, if we do things.
But we've gotten some of the audience.
They have to lose.
Well, what the hell does he have to lose by doing the right thing?
I mean, he's placed in a corner by such a huge segment of population.
Keep trucking.
Trump, keep trucking.
God bless.
Well, there's no doubt about that.
And what I was going to say, even us sort of offering this objective criticism of Trump, some of our audiences have said, hey, you know, what are you doing?
This guy hasn't even gotten in office yet.
I gave him the bid.
I understand that.
Believe me, I understand that.
We're sensitive to that.
But we're going to remain true to ourselves as we always are.
Well, we'll try to serve the audience to the best of our ability.
I am very confident in one thing, Dave Keith, that once these four thugs, you know, these Dindus get justice, they get sentenced, there'll be friends of ours waiting for them in a certain place.
That I'm very confident.
I'm sure you're talking about the daily hereafter, yeah.
The hereafter.
Well, look, I don't think they're going to get much of a sentence.
God bless, brothers.
We're going to rock.
Hey, thank you for 2017.
Another year.
New Year, same dreams, that's for sure.
Hey, thanks for the call, Copperhead.
We appreciate it.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year.
All right.
You got it.
We love you too.
So, you know, he does bring up an interesting point, though.
Hyperbole aside, what kind of sentence do you think they'll get?
I don't think it'll be too stiff.
No, what they're going to do is draw it out until somebody forgets about it, then give them a slap on the wrist, or else they're not going to prosecute it as a hate crime at all.
Or they're going to prosecute it as a hate crime based on mental retardation and disability rather than race, which is, they didn't say F you retard.
They said F you white guy, okay?
Duh.
Hello?
It's a racially animated and motivated crime.
And if you can't see that documented on video, there's no doubt about it.
And that's another thing.
The heinousness of them.
What kind of an animal?
What kind of an animal?
Even Ray Charles could see this.
Would, would...
Would live stream this on Facebook as if it's some sort of an entertainment and be laughing and cutting up.
How sick.
But you're talking about it'll lose its luster.
It's already being written out of the news by the situation in Florida, which we'll get to a little bit later.
Stay tuned.

To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
We have a very, very tight segment this segment, but the phones are ringing off the hook.
We want to take one more caller, Frank, also in New York.
Frank, go quick.
Can you hear us, Frank?
I hope you didn't mention it before.
If so, I apologize.
This kid escaped.
Apparently, the neighbor called the cops.
There was too much noise.
These torturers went to investigate it, and he escaped.
So who knows what might have happened?
It could have even been worse.
That is a great point, Frank.
Thank you so much for the call.
Yes, you are 100% right.
I think we did mention that in passing, but it's worth highlighting is that the only reason he got free, now we don't know what would have been the final score otherwise, but the reason he was able to escape, and he did escape, he wasn't set free, was that the neighbor, well, as Frank just said, called the police, and these thugs went down and broke into that apartment and started some mischief, according to reports.
And that's when this guy was able to get out, and he was picked up by cops walking around in freezing cold weather.
Babbling incoherently.
In his underwear.
And the cops saw a guy walking around in his underwear and frozen Chicago, and they picked him up and figured out what was going on.
Of course, it wasn't hard after you watched the video.
But that is an excellent point.
So that is the only reason he got away when he did.
We don't know what would have happened otherwise.
But now, listen, I want to make a couple of points.
The only reason the controlled media is touching this one was because of the public outcry on social media, especially Twitter.
I don't think, I want to be consistent.
I don't think there should be such thing as hate crimes.
There's no crime that you could possibly commit that isn't already punishable by law.
So why add this extra layer?
Of course, as we know, so-called hate crimes charges are almost exclusively reserved as an additional charge that applies to perpetrators only.
But James, look, they have brought it out, you know, and they should get the full effect of it now.
If it boomerangs against minorities, which it will, just like the domestic relations laws that have domestic violence laws and things like this, well, they are hoisted by their own petard, as Shakespeare said.
In other words, hung on their own scaffold.
They have no one to blame but themselves for it.
And quite frankly, if you allow nature to take its course, that's exactly the way it will turn out.
Well, there's this double standard with regards to the seeking of hate crimes charges in these cases.
Political correctness is a war against noticing things, as we mentioned during our interview with Anthony Cumio a couple of years ago.
When Dylan Roof committed his horrific crime, we were not only made to notice that he was a white southerner, but basically led to believe that this was the entire reason that he did what he did.
Now, don't misunderstand him.
He's going to punish all southerners, white southerners, for what he did.
Exactly.
And don't misunderstand me, Keith, and audience.
Roof should receive the death sentence, I believe.
But Roof was the classic case of a man biting a dog in that it was the extremely rare occurrence of a white-on-black murder.
But in cases like we're talking about tonight, there will be incredible.
It will be a weekly occurrence if it were reported.
These type of crimes.
And there are currently going on incredible acts of mental gymnastics being performed to divert attention from the racial dynamic of this case.
Now, I want to bring up something else that no one's talked about.
This should be noted.
I haven't seen anyone else talking about it in the press.
This event occurred in Chicago on the 10-year anniversary of the Knoxville massacre.
10 years ago in early January of 2007, Shannon Christian and Christopher Newsom, two white college sweethearts, were abducted, kidnapped, raped.
A very worse fate lies in store for them.
They were raped.
The man was sodomized repeatedly.
The girlfriend was raped repeatedly, had bleach poured into all of her orifices.
They were dismembered.
They were burned alive.
All right, no hate crime charges there either.
Once again, it was a mixed bag of male and female blacks committing this crime.
This is the 10-year anniversary of that crime.
And before that, we had the Wichita massacre.
But the examples are certainly numerous.
But that case in Knoxville got small amounts of local press in January of 2007 when it occurred.
It wasn't until later that summer that the mainstream media picked up on it.
And the only reason they picked up on it was because, according to them, Nazis had taken note of this case.
Why were the Nazis so interested?
Two of these great groups.
You know, the two most powerful groups in America today are Nazis one and Klansmen two.
If you listen to the mainstream media.
And I want to get to this clip, but when that event, only for villainization purposes, of course.
Vilification.
Vilification.
When that event originally occurred, it got less coverage than a random act of graffiti on a black church.
In other words, when someone spray paints a black church and almost in all of these cases, it's a black person doing it, that gets more national press than this heinous crime that it created.
That's the fake news that we hear and left complaining about.
That's what they should be complaining about, these fake hoax hate crimes.
But of course, once it turns out to be a hoax, as it almost universally is, it just is completely flushed down the memory hole.
My point is this.
Let's not selectively alter coverage of these interracial acts of violence.
Let's apply the standard uniformly and let the truth be told.
We've got to play this clip now.
Now, I was on CNN in 2007 to talk about the Knoxville massacre, and I debated an NAACP spokesperson who was saying, of course, this wasn't a hate crime.
The exact same argument they're using in Chicago.
Let's go back 10 years and listen to the same thing being repeated on CNN.
Here's the clip now.
And joining me now to talk about this, the Reverend Ezra Mays, president of the Knoxville chapter of the NAACP.
Thanks for being with us tonight.
Also, James Edwards, who hosts the conservative radio talk show, The Political Cesspool, and thanks to you as well for being with us.
How did all that?
They did.
Thank you.
But James, James, I just want to ask you about the Knox County District Attorney General's office, the special counsel saying there's nothing whatsoever that indicates any hate crime.
He also goes on to say there are things that really coincidentally prove just the opposite.
So why has this case become a rallying cry among the white supremacists, frings groups, and even conservative columnists online?
Well, I can't necessarily speak for people that I don't have any association with, but I'll tell you this.
I believe that probably the government officials in Knoxville are concerned with being labeled white supremacists for taking a conservative point of view on this issue.
They probably don't want to defy the false gods of political correctness.
What you have here, Kieran, is a horribly wicked crime in which two young college students were carjacked, held captive, and raped before being murdered.
Now, if that isn't a hate crime, then I don't know.
I don't know what is.
If found guilty, these perpetrators should face Swift justice and the firing squad would be too lenient for them.
But I'll promise you this.
Had the roles been reversed and had the victims been black and the murderers white, this would have been the biggest news story in America on every nightly newscast back in February when this originally occurred.
Reverend Mays, do you agree with that that if this had been reversed racially, we would have heard much more about it?
I beg to differ.
I believe that had it been reversed racially, you would not have heard anything about it.
I believe that this has received some national attention.
And I do not believe that it was a race crime.
I believe that it was a crime that was committed.
I am not one to judge.
I cannot say guilty or not guilty.
I do say that we do feel for the families of those who have lost loved ones, and you cannot be human and not feel sympathetic for those who have lost loved ones.
I do not agree with the crime, nor do I believe that it was a hate crime.
Kieran, I believe there's not a doubt in anyone's mind in America that if the racism in this instance had been reversed, that the NAACP would have been howling that this would have been classified as a hate crime.
The NAACP never believes that brutal acts of violence committed by blacks against whites is motivated by racial hatred.
And certainly, you know, the NAACP couldn't provide America tonight with an equivalent random act of violence committed by blacks against other blacks that can compare to this massacre.
All right.
Well, listen, Reverend Mays, you were at this rally in Knoxville over the weekend.
Apparently, some whites were holding up signs saying things like diversity equals death.
Aryan groups online have been calling it a rally against genocide.
Were you surprised to see, and there are some of the pictures, just how much vitriol there was when it comes to this story?
I'm sorry, repeat that question, please.
Were you surprised to see that?
All right, let's just get the rally because we're running out of time.
You see the anger.
I mean, the palpable anger intense.
All right, we're going to, that's fine.
We're going to stop it a little early.
Let me just get another, I get another line in there at the end.
But that was the conversation on CNN's primetime show.
Kieran Chetri was filling in for Paulazahn that night.
That was the primetime show on CNN.
Once again, the players have changed.
The circumstances, the location have changed.
But the script is the same.
And it's not a hate crime, was it, Keith?
Oh, no.
And it wouldn't have been a hate crime.
As we say on this show, denial is not just a river in Africa.
You know, deny, deny, deny is their template.
They do that.
It doesn't matter.
It's like that country music song.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Well, what about the NAACP spokesman telling me that if the roles have been reversed, that the only reason that it was getting attention was because it was black on white crime.
Of course, he couldn't give any rationale or reasoning to back that statement.
He just makes a bald assertion and then moves on.
That's the way they do it.
They just refuse to acknowledge, you know, it's like Groucho Mark said, what are you going to believe?
What I tell you or you're lying on.
And in this case, in Chicago, 10 years later, very similar circumstances.
Thankfully, this man survived, whereas the two people in Knoxville tragically didn't.
But they're actually on tape.
They're actually on tape saying, F white people, we hate white people.
But no, it's not a hate crime.
No, no, and they said nothing about his mental disability, as they call it in bulgarized terms nowadays.
That's not the reason they did.
They probably picked on him because of that, because they knew he couldn't give up the type of resistance that a normally equipped person could.
They picked the weakest of the weak, and then they just heap coals of hatred on his forehead, almost kill him, may have, as Frank said earlier in this segment, killed him if there hadn't been this intervention by the neighbors who were complaining about the rowdy noise coming from their apartment as they were torturing this man.
And watch the video, how much glee and satisfaction and happiness and laughter that these thugs are.
This is sadism.
This should be used in psychology courses as a case in point on sadism.
This is what sadism is.
But guess what?
If you don't want to live in neighborhoods like the ones where these thugs come from, you're the bad guy.
Hey, they're just the victims of fatherless homes.
You're not going to believe what we cover with Sean Bergen when we come back.
Sean Bergen's on deck.
Folks, this is going to blow you out of your seat.
