Time Text
U.S. You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political test pool is your host, James Edwards.
He did the monster mash.
My favorite time of year, it truly is.
This time of year, fall, harvest season, Halloween.
The weather's turning so nice down here in the South.
And then you've still got all of the great holidays to look forward to, Thanksgiving and Christmas, of course, Christmas being the ultimate.
And it's just a fun, festive time of year with family.
It's such a busy time of year for me.
The last week of October, not only do you have Halloween, and now that I have kids again, I'm able to relive the joy and wonder of Halloween through their eyes as much as I enjoyed it when I was a kid, trick-or-treating and hay rods and corn mazes.
And we've been doing all that this week.
But so you've got Halloween, obviously.
Then you've got the anniversary of the political cesspool, which we're celebrating this hour.
We, I guess, kicked off the celebration in the last few minutes of the last segment with Keith.
And my son.
My son.
Listen to this.
So the show started on October 26, 2004.
My son was born on October 27th of 2014.
He just turned two years old.
And in fact, we had his birthday party today.
And so it's just a fun, festive time of year with all that going on at the end of October.
And it's just my favorite time of year.
And we're so celebrating that with some fun, feel-good festive Halloween songs tonight as we do every year.
But as I mentioned, folks, the first time I took microphone in hand as host of the political cesspool happened on October 26, 2004, 12 years ago this week.
And that remarkable journey that we've had together has exceeded my wildest expectations.
That is an understatement.
I vividly remember that first show.
I remember sitting down.
I remember being nervous that very first show.
Hadn't felt that emotion in a long time.
We've been through every sort of battle that could harden you and temper you that you could dream up over the last decade plus two.
And I'm going to ask you a question.
Yeah, go.
I'm going to ask Mr. James a question.
James, do you remember when we first started out there, Millington, out in the Beanfield?
This actually happened, people.
We would get so mad doing shows, we would literally have to go outside during the break and cool off.
We would just get just foaming at the moment.
But not only that, there would be members of our hosting staff that would get heated at each other and have to go out and cuss each other and then we'd go back inside.
That's true.
You just had all those emotions.
And certainly we still are very animated, very gregarious, very emotional people in a good sense.
I mean, I think you need to have that fire and passion.
But oh, yeah, when it was all still new to us and we were cutting our teeth in radio, we were wild and unbridled.
And we had the chief.
We had the Navy Chief.
Art Frith.
He kept us in line and taught us how to be professionals to the extent that we can claim that for ourselves.
And I, of course, saw Art just a couple of weeks ago.
Art retired.
He was our producer for a few years in the early years.
And he still is our announcer.
He still does a lot of commercials for us and the drops and the spots and the intros and the outros.
And in fact, when I went to give that speech in Michigan where Art has now retired a couple of weeks ago, Art came and we caught up and he came to my talk and we hugged each other and reminisced.
And he's going to be making some new intros and outros.
I think the intros, outros we have now, the music beds and all that, are a couple of years old and so at least.
And so he's going to freshen up the production of the Political Cess Bull here in the coming weeks.
And so we're going to have some fresh announcements.
James, have you seen some of the Chiefs' photographs?
I'm telling you what, people.
Oh, he's a professional photographer.
He takes some of the greatest photographs I've ever seen in my life.
He took some pictures of me giving my talk.
And when you look at the pictures that he takes, the vividness and the clarity of the colors and just how sharp the image is compared to, you know, we all talk about how great our iPhones are with what good pictures they can take, and that's true, but it's nothing compared to what a professional can do.
Anyway, we saw Art a couple of weeks ago.
It was great catching up with him.
There's been so many people who have come and gone.
What's remarkable is the people who are still here, how long we've been together.
Eddie, you and I, you've been on the show for 10 years.
Keith, almost 10 years.
Y'all came very near the beginning of the run.
We've been with Sam Bushman and the Liberty News Radio Network since 2009.
So there's definitely some longevity and staying power.
Winston Smith, of course, Scoop's been with us since 2005.
Winston, yeah.
And Winston's going to call in in the next segment.
Winston is the one that I will listen to.
I was coming home speaking to Mad.
I got so mad.
And Bill, of course, would still be with us.
I had to pull over.
I got so hot listening to you and Winston.
It was before I came on the show.
Matter of fact, Winston was kind of my first hero.
And I talked to him at your wedding when you got married.
No, remember that?
I don't know if you remember that.
You were there.
Winston was there.
Bill was there.
Art was there.
That's right.
Art was at my wedding before I was.
We just did the same thing.
I mean, this is, we're looking back on 12 years and the good times.
When I got to my speech last week, he would always say this.
Every time I'd walk into the studio, you know, Art gave me such a hard time when I was in radio.
Now he respects me as a broadcast.
He's the one that gave you a nickname, Baby Boy.
That's right.
He still calls me Baby Boy, even though I'm 36 years old now.
I was in my early 20s when I started, so I was a baby to him.
But when I got to the speech, Art said, it's about time you showed up for work.
That's what he would say to me every time going, I would get to the show early, ridiculously early sometimes.
About time you got to work.
He said that at the wedding.
About time you got to your wedding.
He was at my wedding before I was.
I've never seen anything like that.
But Art's great.
But I can remember that first show.
So many people who have come and gone.
Like I said, a lot of us have stayed with it for years and years and years as volunteers.
Can you believe it?
With all of these arrows and bullets that we have to suffer, the spears and the indignity and the assaults and the libel and the slander for all of us to stick together and continue to do this year after year after year for no pay shows that we are motivated by something righteous and good and love, love for our people, love for our heritage, love for our issues.
But we've lost some people.
Bill Rowland, of course, we lost.
And then there's other people who are no longer with us that left for different reasons.
Austin Farley, Jess Bonds, Jeff Melvin.
Just Bonds, Miss Jeff Bonds.
Great people.
All great people.
But not everybody sticks with it forever.
And then the Lord called Bill home.
But I remember that first show going back to October of 2004.
We were doing an election primer for Bush versus Carey.
And I remember talking about that, breaking it down, kind of laying out the case of what we wanted this show to be.
And of course, it's evolved since then.
And no one could have anticipated what was in store for this show.
I certainly, that first night.
I had no idea that we would become nationally known broadcasters, that we would have a shadow.
Would cast a shadow to the extent that the Trump campaign and the Hillary Clinton campaign would both call us.
My name would be mentioned on the House floor in Washington, D.C.
We got denounced by the Congress.
I mean, there's been so many things.
On the Hillary Clinton website, they said vote for Hillary Clinton or else people like James Edwards will be calling the shots in the Trump administration.
United States senators have denounced us.
We have been denounced on the floor by the United States Congress.
One of our greatest moments, one of our greatest achievements.
But it just goes to show the long way we've come since our humble beginnings to the point where we have become the most attacked radio show in the world.
We are the most attacked radio show in the AM Airwaves.
Well, Sam, the Liberty Roundtable show is right there with us now.
But yes, CNN has loved and hated me.
They will invite me up and introduce me as a conservative, and then they'll denounce me as a white supremacist if they want to.
You just never know.
It depends on the day.
There's schizophrenia.
Hey, but we won't last 12 years.
We wouldn't have lasted 12 years in the spotlight without the support of those in our listening audience.
That's a fact.
Dear friends, thank you for celebrating another anniversary with us tonight.
We'll continue to celebrate this hour.
Winston Smith's going to be with us this next segment.
Stay tuned.
Our country is at a crossroads.
Election day is looming, and the choice between the two candidates couldn't be more clear.
Do you want a strong leader who will secure our borders and stop the flow of illegal aliens and radical Islamic terrorists?
Do you want a proven businessman who will implement smart trade deals that will bring jobs back to our country?
Do you want a man's man who will protect our God-given Second Amendment rights from an oppressive federal government?
Do you want a sensible White House that will work with traditionalist heads of state who should be our natural allies?
Do you want a president who will safeguard the interests of Christians?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then there's only one choice for you: Donald Trump for president.
Make no mistake about it, America will not survive a Supreme Court stacked with radical extremists handpicked by Hillary Clinton.
Do the right thing.
On November 8th, vote Trump.

And now, back to tonight's show.
No matter what or who you are.
As I lie, there is a lies from the high, as the night lies in the darkness of everybody.
Welcome back, folks, to a truncated edition of our anniversary special.
We do this every year.
It's an annual show that I look forward to every year where we spend the entire program looking back, reflecting.
Certainly, there's enough material in calendar year 2016 alone that would take three hours to unpack and look back on, much less 12 years.
You know, so much has happened over the course of the last 12 years.
So much good.
Too much to recap in a single broadcast.
But we try to give you tonight, even though we're not even able to do the entire show this evening as we would normally do this time of year, at least a little bit of an overview, some of our most memorable moments, both in the studio and behind the scenes, favorite guests, biggest triumphs, where we go from here.
But tonight, of course, with the latest developments of the presidential campaign and a very special guest in the third hour, we had to pare it down to just one hour tonight.
But I say again, folks, without the audience, we couldn't have lasted 12 years in the spotlight.
That's a fact.
Thank you for celebrating this birthday with us this evening as we continue to be your voice on the mainstream AM Airwaves.
Thank you for sharing the adventure with us and for making possible all that we do.
And we love you.
And we look forward with great anticipation to discovering what the future will bring for as long as the Lord gives us strength and the support from our audience still exists.
Eddie, I'm going to get some more feedback from you, but we have Winston called in now.
He's only on with us for a segment or two.
You know, again, you look back on the people, hasn't been that many.
Really about 12 people total have made this show possible from day one to now.
The majority of those 12 still with us.
Only about four have left.
And it's just been incredible.
And Winston has, of course, played such a big part in the history of this show.
He's not on with us as much on the air anymore since the loss of his hearing.
But every time he comes on, it's certainly a joy and a privilege.
And it makes for a better broadcast than we would have had otherwise.
Winston, on this anniversary edition of the Political Cessible, 12 years.
What are your reflections, brother?
Ermigerd, Germs, Erdwards.
You have no idea what that means to you.
Well, no, I heard my name, though.
Actually, I heard my name.
What used to be my name, James Edwards.
I think my name now is white supremacist James Edwards.
Get it right.
But anyway, Winston, you look back on 12 years.
What do you see?
Well, I see the phrase white supremacist on your birth certificate, for one thing.
I have never seen the phrase white supremacist used so much.
One person, with the possible exception of Dr. David Duke.
And, you know, most of the people who use the phrase, they have no idea what it means.
They will say white supremacy, which is that's wrong.
Supremacy and supremacism are two different things.
But that's one of the biggest things that I've seen, one of the most profound things that I've seen happen in 12 years on the political cesspool.
The addition of white supremacist to your name.
Congratulations.
Well, thank you, brother.
I appreciate that.
I worked very hard to earn that.
The Doctor of White Supremacy.
DHD.
Honorary.
Now, Winston, you're TPC's poet laureate.
We brought you on to be poignant tonight.
If I wanted to crack, if I wanted wise cracks, I'd just let Eddie keep talking.
Well, Winston is a true intellectual.
He is.
He's the intellectual great white shark.
He says that of Keith.
And it's true, Keith is one also, but Winston is our poet laureate.
That's the way I would see it.
And Winston is the one who gave you the bombardier nickname.
He most certainly did.
And I remember in the early days, and I'll make this short, me and James used to gang up on Winston because we would have to put all 56 of our vocabulary words together to try to defeat Winston's endless.
They knew the whole dictionary inside and out, man.
Winston brings something to the show that's sorely missed when he's not included.
And I really look back on Winston's interviews.
It's just a different feel and a different vibe, and it makes for interesting radio.
And he's the only one that can give it to you like that.
He's a gentleman's gentleman.
Oh, by the way, congratulations.
He's a vibe.
James, the vibe I bring comes from the interviews you make me do, like with exorcists and things like that.
Holy cow, man.
Well, he calls me up and says, hey, you know, Austin Farley has this friend, and he wants to be on the show.
And, you know, I'm not going to be able to handle this interview.
Can you handle it?
And I said, oh, sure.
Who is it?
He said, well, the guy's an exorcist.
What?
What the fuck?
All right, all right, all right.
We share this story every year.
When I asked Winston, hey, Winston, when you look back on the show, give me a vivid memory.
It's always this thing about the exorcist.
So this was when Winston first joined the staff.
So I guess this would be his rookie hazing.
Well, you know what?
He used to invite Satan to come on.
We said we didn't call anybody.
We weren't prejudiced.
We would actually interview Satan if he had the guts to come on our show.
Yeah, but Hillary never came on.
But anyway, so we had on Sidney Leathers, Scoop will talk about that.
But so we had this guy on that was an exorcist, and Winston interviewed him.
So this was like a good-natured ribbing.
But the thing was, it went too far.
He was going to perform an on-air exorcism of Teddy Kennedy, and he did it.
We actually did an on-air exorcism, but it killed Kennedy.
He actually killed Kennedy on the air.
The exorcism went too far.
It killed Kennedy.
It's weird.
We're a book guy.
We got a bookkeeper.
He rolled Chippewitt.
All right.
So besides that, Winston, it's hard to be serious sometimes on the cesspool because we do have such a good time.
But when you look at the weight and the gravity of the program and what we've been able to do together, a band of brothers, unpaid volunteers for 12 years that have risen to the point where we are covered by ABC, CBS, CNN.
We're covered by the biggest newspapers, magazines, television, and radio programs in the world.
Not sporadically anymore as it used to be.
And even then, that was something.
But now every week, literally every week, with the hysteria only growing more intense.
I don't know how that happened, but it happened together, Winston.
Well, I was once I was you sent me on a speaking engagement with a group, and there happened to be a writer from Newsweek magazine there.
And the person in charge of the gathering introduced me as Winston Smith from the Political Cest Pool.
And when I finished speaking, this woman reporter from Newsweek magazine pulled me aside and talked to me quite a bit.
Didn't get a whole lot of ink in the article she wrote, but she prominently mentioned the political cesspool in Newsweek magazine.
Now, granted, Newsweek is not what it used to be, but it's still nothing to sneeze at.
Even back then, it's gone down quite a bit, but back then, Newsweek still had some standing, and I was excited about that.
I remember that.
I remember that.
See, now, I mean, we were covered by Time magazine.
I mean, we've been covered by everybody this year.
And, of course, a lot of that's relative to the Trump campaign.
But I remember that.
Now, what you're talking about was several years ago when it wasn't unusual that we would be covered by the press, but it didn't happen as often.
And certainly Newsweek was a feather in the hat.
And you gave that interview because you were there at the speaking engagement that you mentioned.
And that was actually one of our, to that point at least, one of our very biggest entities that had covered us.
And that was Newsweek Magazine.
And you played a role in that.
And of course, Eddie was covered by a journalist from a newspaper in France who flew all the way to Memphis.
So many stories.
But we'll be back with Winston for one more segment, and he's going to share some more thoughts and memories.

Talk radio host Dennis Prager and a group of like-minded commentators and scholars have produced a series of 16 videos under the name Prager University.
The brief presentations examine a variety of controversial subjects from climate change to the nature of Islam.
15 of the videos, however, are restricted on YouTube, which means that the clips will not be visible to any potential viewer that has activated a filtering feature.
In addition to explicitly violent or sexual content, YouTube's algorithms will filter videos that are subjected to community flagging, which can happen as a result of orchestrated campaigns to suppress politically incorrect content.
Among the banned videos by Prager University were presentations dealing with race issues, abortion, Islam, and the plague of political correctness itself.
YouTube is free to set its own standards, but the company is undercutting its claim to be a platform for free expression, acknowledged a Wall Street Journal editorial on the matter.

Oh yeah, ho.
It's time to jump back into the political cesspool.
To be part of the show and have your voice heard around the world, call us at 1-866-986-6397.
He was looking for the place called EHO, folks.
All right, folks, it is that time of year.
Be careful for those werewolves.
Normally we would do, you know, last year we had one of the most incredible anniversary program shows, except for the 10-year anniversary.
We were all together in that ballroom.
That was one of the greatest nights of my life, much less in radio.
I mean, all of life.
When we were together at that ballroom in Memphis, then we had that live anniversary show for the 10-year anniversary.
We will do that again, ladies and gentlemen.
We will do that again.
But last year, we had a good anniversary show.
It was all three hours.
We had guests.
We had Sonny Landham.
Sonny Landham, the actor from Predator, who kicked off the Political Cessboals' inaugural kickoff party back in 2004.
He was our keynote speaker, and he's been a friend for all these years.
And of course, all of the casting crew.
We won't have time tonight to get to everyone.
People who play such a monumental role in the show now, like Sean Bergen and Jim Lancia, they are absolutely critical to the success of this program and bring so much talent to the broadcast.
And of course, they celebrate tonight with us as well.
But having to trim it down because of the election, because of a guest in the third hour that we had to get on this evening, it just time didn't permit us to do it this year as much as we normally would.
But we are going to hear from Sam Bushman this segment, more from Eddie.
But Winston, just in the last couple of minutes here, anything else that you'd like to share with the audience about your time on the program and also tell us where you would like to see the show go from here.
I don't know where we could go from here other than actually getting paid for what we do that would make this be anything better than this year because this year has been such a monumental year for the program for so many reasons.
But Winston, your thoughts on all of that, and then we'll let you fly.
James, it's just been an incredible journey.
And, you know, since I've had to back away some, I still keep track of the show.
And I still keep track of the publicity, good and bad, that the show gets.
And I just, I had no...
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
How this...
You said...
You said good?
There's been good publicity.
You keep up with it more than I do because I've never seen that.
But I'm just kidding.
I'm sorry for interrupting.
I had to put that little joke.
But please go ahead because you were getting to something.
That was what your mother said chimed in.
That's right.
That's right.
James, yeah, we get a lot of bad publicity in the press, but we get a lot of good publicity by word of mouth.
That's right.
Our audience is second to none when it comes to loyalty, when it comes to thoughtfulness, when it comes to weighing issues.
I work in Washington, D.C., and I know how inside the beltway liberals think, and they don't really think at all.
What they call thinking is really nothing more than just a rearranging of their prejudices and their biases and their hatreds.
And believe me, the hatred and the venom and the toxicity in this country is coming from the left.
It's not coming from the right.
It's not coming from the white nationalists.
It's not coming from the deplorables.
It's coming from the Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama left.
And, you know, I've said it before, and I'll say it again every anniversary show that we do.
The worst thing about being a political cesspool co-host is the people with whom we have to deal.
We have to, you know, I don't like spending time thinking about the likes of Al Sharpton and the Black Lives Matter thugs.
And I don't like spending time thinking about these hateful people who see nothing but power as the ultimate goal.
I don't like thinking about them.
I don't like talking about them.
I don't like writing about them because you feel dirty when you're done.
You feel like you need to take a shower.
You feel like you need to take some oven cleaner to your mind to get their images out of your mind.
But also, the best thing about being a political cesspool co-host is the people with whom you get the deal.
I mean, as I said when he first came on, Ermigerd, Germs, Erdwards, you know, you get to deal.
I get to deal with Eddie the Bombardier Miller.
I get to deal with Keith Alexander.
I get to deal with the best of the best, people who do what they do at great risk to themselves, great risk personally and financially.
And they do it anyhow.
We all do it.
I don't want to get paid for doing what I do for the political cesspool because it keeps it pure.
I will stay up late writing articles and I will spend time researching topics for you, James, and helping you write articles.
That's right.
And you do.
And I'll do it just because it has to be done.
And folks, that's what I want our audience to realize, that things have to be done.
And they have to be done decisively, and they have to be done quickly.
So get out of your chair.
Was just going to say, and I know we need to get to Sam, but I would like to say for everyone out there, you know, you hear from Winston a few times a year on this show, and it's always makes for a better broadcast when he's on.
And he will continue to be on, and he will continue to host interviews.
But he works for us behind the scenes, doing things that most people don't know, helping me with content for the website, helping me with articles, helping me with any manner of things.
And we're always in close contact via text message.
And Winston, I love you.
I love the fact that you've played a role in this journey that continues.
You mentioned Al Sharpton.
I mean, there's just been so many memories over the last 12 years.
You couldn't possibly cover them all.
But we actually stopped an Al Sharpton march in Memphis because we were blocking the route at a Confederate park, and he decided not to do that and completely rearranged his plans.
I think it was one of the first times Al Sharpton had ever canceled a proposed march.
And we have just had all of these experiences, all of the media interviews, all of the people we've dealt with, good, bad, and indifferent.
And it's just been, well, it's been the time of my life.
And Winston, I want to thank you for calling in tonight.
We have to get to Sam Bushman because if there's one man who we couldn't survive without, it's Sam, and he deserves to be heard.
And really, for a lot more time than we have tonight.
But he is on the show more regularly than you are.
And so I wanted to give you your time.
And I want to thank you again for calling in, Winston.
We love you.
Hey, James, in the interest of time, just to chime in really quick.
Sure, Sam.
They run around and call us Nazis, okay?
They say we're white supremacists, we're Nazis, we're whatever.
What I find fascinating about that is, you know, the Nazis really wanted to kill all the deaf and the blind and everybody else.
What's interesting about that, though, is that this is the only place where a blind person syndicates a deaf person on the radio.
Just saying.
You know what?
That is right.
So if people didn't know, and it's no secret, we don't advertise it because it's just, I mean, it doesn't really matter.
I'm bringing it up for that reason, though.
Sam Bushman is blind.
Winston Smith is deaf.
And together, they are here on the radio because of each other.
And of course, Sam, we wouldn't be here if it were not for your network giving us a home.
And for the last seven years, we've not just survived but thrived underneath your network and your tutelage.
And it's just been, I mean, listen, you can't mention the political cesspool without giving homage to two entities, I guess you could say, the audience and Sam Bushman.
The audience and Sam Bushman are more responsible for the success of this show than me and Eddie and everybody else.
Now, I want to bring up a favorite memory, too, by the way.
Speaking of this, you know, we were at the National Press Club.
We had literally FBI-approved credentials.
I question if Hillary could get those right now, by the way.
But nevertheless, we got FBI-approved, you know, less credentials, etc.
We went into the Republican convention, Sam Bushman, James Edwards, a couple of buddies.
Matt the Copperhead was with us, by the way.
And we literally sat in the middle of CNN and ABC and all these mainstream press people.
They trash us every day, but not a single one of them had the guts to be negative to us to our face.
We were kind to them.
They were kind to us.
We literally sat.
James wanted to kind of keep a low profile, but Sam wouldn't have any of it, by the way.
And we rolled right up to CNN and knocked on their door and said, hey, man, can we come in your glass booth and sit down?
I literally walked up there, sat at the news desk for CNN, and those guys were bringing me water.
Now, I'm not calling them my water boys in a negative way.
I'm just telling you that that's the kind of relationship these people have with us when it's face-to-face.
They trash us behind our back, but I sat in CNN, literally at their news desk.
They were bringing me water and taking my picture.
And I'm just saying thank you, CNN.
That's all I'm saying.
So there's my memory of the political cesspool and Liberty Roundtable Live and Liberty News Radio and what we do on a daily basis.
We don't back away from these creeps.
We take them on literally.
I walked right into CNN, sir.
That was, again, just this year, a couple of months ago.
I mean, this year has been the biggest year ever for the political cesspool, no doubt about that.
And that was something that happened this year.
Of course, you're with us for a 10-year anniversary in Memphis, and there's been so many memories.
You're a friend, a brother, a mentor, and so much more.
You're much by the way.
I work for free for the Cesspool because it's spot-on killer.
absolutely award-winning Necessary Talk Radio.
Sam is our...
And he likes peanut butter and chocolate ice cream.
Hey, Doug.
Sam is a bombardier.
Coaxed the ladies into giving it to us.
Hey, that's another memory.
Hey, but Sam is our network owner and, of course, a very good friend and frequent guest.
And he's a brother-in-arms.
Thank you, Sam.
We fought.
We learned.
We struggled.
We won.

It was merely to survive it.
Together.
Together.
I smoke because it's a habit.
It's very hard to quit.
I've tried.
My wife smokes.
It's not allowed in the home.
It's not allowed around my children.
I just know it isn't good.
My husband hates that I smoke and I smoke outside.
It irritates her a little bit, but I think she sees and understands what I'm trying to get across to her, that it's not only bad to her, but it's bad to my three beautiful daughters and my two sons.
My dad gets upset with my mom because she smokes and he doesn't.
And whenever my mom goes and smokes, she has to go smoke outside.
I don't think my mom should smoke because it's really bad for you and it could hurt you really bad.
I do think there is a correlation between parents and kids.
The parent smokes, the kids think it's okay for them to smoke.
Sometimes, all you need is a small reason to quit.
Yeah, I love my mom very much, but I still wish she'd stop smoking.
Smoking.
If you think you're old enough to start, you're smart enough to stop.
A public service message from this station and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is, you got to take the free test available now.
Get a hold of Kurt Crosby to learn about it.
The number's 801-669-2211.
That's 801-669-2211.

Do what we've got, girl.
They're working.
We got a lot to do.
Welcome back.
Get on the show.
Call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you.
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you.
That man, the witch doctor, he told me what to do.
He said that all right, folks, we got to make haste this segment.
So we got Scoop on.
Scoop is going to give us his top 25 of all time.
Now, I might not agree with everything on this list, although they are all remarkable.
I might not agree with the numbering of each item on this list, but they are scoops, and they are all good.
And what this is, is just a huge gloss over of some of the most memorable moments in our 12 years of broadcasting.
So basically, Scoop, all I need you to do tonight is this, or we'll never fit it into one segment, because you've got 25 points here.
I want you to say number 25 and then say what it is.
Eddie or I will give a 10-second response to that.
Then we'll go to 24, 23, all the way down to number one in 10 minutes or less.
We've got to work in about four of these per minute.
So let's go.
Go scoop.
All right.
Number 25, Officer Drew Lacney.
Officer Drew Lackey was the police officer who booked Rosa Parks.
He is the one pictured in that iconic photograph fingerprinting the communist Rosa Parks.
And he wrote the book, Another View of the Civil Rights Movement, where he told you exactly what really happened.
We had him on the radio.
No one else would.
And it's a great interview, one of so many we've had in the last 12 years.
Number 24.
The Sidney Leathers interview.
Sidney Leathers was the mistress of Anthony Weiner, and we had her on.
And maybe she's coming back.
Maybe she's part of this new FBI investigation.
But we had her on.
It just goes to show you never know who's going to turn up on TPC.
Right.
And just let everybody know, I'm for Halloween.
I'm dressing up as Anthony Weiner again.
All right.
Number 23, Warner Brothers cross-promotion of Gods and Generals.
Warner Brothers contacted me, the movie studios, Warner Brothers.
They were re-releasing the movie Gods and Generals, which is very pro-Confederate for the 150th anniversary of the war between the states.
And they worked with us, or we rather worked with them because they asked us to promote that movie.
Just goes to show the power of TPC when movie studios reach out to you.
Number 22.
Charlie Leduff.
Enough said.
All right, that's Scoop's buddy.
Number 21.
Sonny Landam.
Sonny Landam, the movie actor, mini-action movie in the 80s.
Predator is his most iconic role.
And he's a very good friend of ours.
He's been on the show many, many times.
He usually is on with us for every anniversary show because he helped kick off the show at our kickoff party in 2004.
Great friend.
Frank for Scoob.
All right.
Yeah, he's starting that as well.
Number 20.
Lieutenant Godfrey Dulius interview.
Oh, man.
You take that one, Eddie.
The fighter pilot flew for the German Luftwaffe in World War II, a superhero.
I remember he talked about he had one 20-millimeter cannon shell left.
He brought down an all-you-doed plane.
He'll head one shot.
He brought that sucker down.
He spent many years in Soviet concentration camp.
He wrote a book called One More Bullet Cabusto.
Which was this watery cabbage that they fed the German prisoners of war.
An incredible man, a hero.
He fought for the Luftwaffe.
And you should hear his testimony.
A Christian man.
You should hear.
He was on for two shows back in 2007, I believe.
One to talk about the war and his involvement in it and his internment in that POW camp.
And he was on for another one to talk about the different equipment that the Germans had in World War II that he was able to use in the battle.
Incredible interview, incredible.
Turbocharged engines before their time.
Number 19.
The Georgia Zimmerman trial.
We were on the air when George Zimmerman was acquitted.
Can you believe that, ladies and gentlemen?
And we covered that trial, and we had, that was really one of our best shows ever.
We had about 10 notable personalities on that show, the show after he was acquitted.
And that was certainly one for the books.
Why?
Scoop has remembered it.
Number 18.
Sheriff Paul Babiu.
And his buddy, Sheriff Paul Babu.
The sodomite.
Yeah, we got, get this.
We got Sheriff Paul Babu on from one of the southern Pinal County, Arizona.
He has a super reputation of being this Godzilla guardian against illegal immigration.
He was buddies with United States Senator John McCain.
He invited me, yours truly, Dan, to do a ride-along with his most squared-away deputy, coming to find out the guy was a sodomite.
He invited me to come down there to bring my 357 Magna, my 30-aught 6, my 12 gauge.
Well, it fell through because we found out it was a sodomite.
They found out that he got busted by the news media for being buddies with John McCain, being buddies with us.
He denounced us.
He actually denounced us on the Senate floor.
That's right.
It was an incredible thing.
And he's supposed to be this big defender of the border, and he's having homosexual relationships with illegal aliens.
Forced.
All right.
So we've got to really go quick.
Number 17, Scoop.
National Press Club appearance.
I spoke at the National Press Club.
What else can you say?
It was a great experience.
Number 16.
Let's go the other side.
16.
Hutton Gibson interview.
Hutton Gibson, great interviews.
That is Mel Gibson's father, a great friend of the show.
He was on for several times.
Higher.
And yeah, well, and that was covered by Entertainment Tonight.
Can you believe it?
Entertainment Tonight.
And Jimmy Kimmel did a skit, a comedic skit, based upon our interview with Hutton Gibson.
And I talked to Hutton off the air as well.
This is the father of Mel Gibson.
He is hardcore on the issues.
Let me tell you that.
Number 15, Scoop.
Representative Walter Jones.
A great interview.
Eddie, you were there for that one.
Actually, Eddie was the one who set that up, and that was our first interview.
And Walter Jones was very kind to Sam Bushman when he visited him in D.C. years later.
He didn't want to see people, but he heard it was Sam and who he was associated with, and he granted him an audience.
Walter Jones is a great guy.
He was denounced by the liberal media, and he won the next election in a landslide.
That's right.
Number 14, Scoop.
We got five minutes.
We got to go, go, go.
Pat Buchanan.
Pat Buchanan, we wouldn't be here without Pat.
I got my start with Pat working for him in 2000.
If it wasn't for that experience, I wouldn't be in politics.
I wouldn't be on the radio.
Even Trump praised Pat.
Number 13.
The 10-year anniversary show.
Other than the year, other than getting married and the birth of my two children, the greatest night of my life.
Amen.
Hear, here, here.
Number 12.
David Duke.
David Duke, listen, I will never back down from him.
As a Christian, I feel compelled to tell the truth and to offer my testimony about people that I know.
And I know this man personally, and he is not the way the media portrays him.
I will always stand by David Duke, and I hope he wins his election.
Gentlemen, he is nothing like the press presents him.
And he will be in the debate on Tuesday in Louisiana.
Number 11, this is a great one.
USS Liberty Survivors Interview.
Oh, my God.
That should probably be number one.
Now, can you believe all of this stuff, folks?
This is just a quick once over of some of the things that have happened in the last 12 years.
There's so many more.
But we interviewed three of the survivors of Israel's attack on the USS Liberty.
One of the best shows ever.
Covered up our own government.
CNN.
Had some great experiences with CNN.
It was the best of times.
It was the worst of times.
We all know my relationship with CNN.
It was a free relationship.
As an on-air commentator and as one of their favorite whipping boys.
Number nine.
Jim Lencia joins the Cessbull.
The author of Downtown White Police, Scoop was responsible for bringing him into the fold.
He is a great asset.
He is now our criminal justice correspondent and a great member of the family.
Number eight.
Joining Liberty News Radio.
Number eight, joining Liberty News Radio Network and Sam, according to your notes.
Listen, that's a top 10 moment, if not number one.
If it wasn't for Sam and Liberty News Radio, we wouldn't be here to this day.
We would have started.
I don't think we would still be here, though.
That's certainly worthy of mention.
Number seven, I like this one.
Anthony Coomia interview.
Scoop set that up.
We had Anthony Coomia on, and the press melted down.
And that was a great interview.
And Scoop actually was co-host of that interview and did a great job.
He's normally on to do his segment as a correspondent.
He co-hosted that interview, and that was a big one.
Number six.
Sean Bergen joined us.
Other than Sam, certainly the most professional personality on this network.
And Sean adds so much depth and professionalism to the program.
It's unbelievable.
It's just great to be able to work with a pros pro like Sean Bergen.
And every time he's on the show, it really stands out.
Number five.
The war on cops.
Now, this is Scoop's bread and butter.
This is what Scoop really brings to the show.
I don't know where Scoop gets the obituaries.
He must scour the obituaries of every newspaper in the country each week because he always tells us which officers have fallen in the line of duty.
But because of Scoop, this program has really stepped forward in defending the cops in their never-ending assault, the assault being levied upon them by Black Lives Matter and the media.
Number four.
Go, go.
I would like to say we should have a spot in there when Scoop came on the show because I think Scoop's probably the most underrated member of the 12 people that we've ever had on such a honorable mention for sure at the very least.
We got one minute left and four to go.
Number four, Scoop, go.
Dylan Roof shooting.
Dylan Roof shooting, we remember the fallout from that.
Every Confederate flag was to be blamed.
And we had a rally that brought between 500 and 600 people to Memphis in a one week's notice, one of the greatest moments of our broadcasting career.
And the government tried to shut that down.
Homeland Security tried to shut that down.
We rallied 500 people in a week to defend the Confederate flag.
Number three.
Bill Rowland Tribute Show.
Bill Rowland Tribute Show.
One of the most emotional shows ever.
It was a three-hour tribute to the memory of Bill Rowland.
It was the first broadcast after his passing, and he is still with us, fighting with us in spirit for sure.
Number two, Scoop.
Denounce by Congress.
Eddie, you mentioned that earlier in the show.
To be denounced by whores and sociopaths of the United States Congress, to be identified by the whores and sociopaths of the United States Congress as someone totally different from them.
I want criminals to know that we are not with them, and to be denounced by them is an honor.
That's by our own United States Congressman.
Our own congressman called you reprehensible, Eddie.
The music's playing, Scoop.
Number one.
The Trump campaign.
You're here.
It's a top 10 list in itself.
The role the media has put us in with vis-a-vis the Trump campaign this year has just been incredible.
Well, that's Scoop's top 25 moments all time for TPC in the last 12 years.
We got a guest coming up at the top of the third hour.
What a year.
What a career.
