Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Well, folks, in the first hour, among other things, we talked about the fact that from all 50 states and from most of the countries in Western Europe, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and beyond, we received correspondence from just rock-solid people, not the kinds of kooks and cranks that the establishment media attracts.
The best people the world has to offer are tuned into this radio program.
We actually have a larger audience than MSNBC, if you can believe that.
Well, which is crazy, you know, with all the money they have.
I think, well, certainly than some of their shows.
I mean, I don't know about their primetime stuff, but I think if you put together what we've got and our affiliates and our other people we work with, you have a snowball effect that certainly rivals the audience of some of these big people.
But anyway, welcome back to the Political Cesspool.
James Edwards, Keith Alexander, here with you live, as always, this Saturday evening, the 9th of April.
We consider ourselves to be traditional paleoconservatives and Christians who are brave enough to tell the truth about issues deemed to be taboo by our societal overlords.
Now, because we speak truth to power, we get called all sorts of nasty names.
But in saying that, we're not blind to the absolute pathetic state of affairs of modern establishment conservatism.
Modern establishment conservatives, so-called conservatives, and when I say conservative this hour, put it in parentheses, or rather quotations.
They exist to lose, and they've done so in every battle since before I was born.
There's not one issue out there, with maybe the exception of guns, that conservatives can say they're winning.
And they're the political equivalent of the Washington Generals.
Hunter Wallace.
And tell them what the Washington Generals are for the uninitiated.
Well, they're the phony team that goes out there and pretends to compete against the Harlem Globetrotters.
That's what the Republican Party is.
That's what establishment conservatives are.
They never win.
You know, get the one loss writing between the Washington Generals and the Harlem Globetrotters.
And that's the same percentage that mainstream conservatives versus liberals.
You know, the one-loss column would look very similar.
I put together a compilation of articles written by Hunter Wallace of Occidental Descent.
We posted it yesterday, and we've gotten feedback saying it's the best compilation on this issue that people have ever read.
And it's entitled Conservatism is Dead.
Hunter Wallace of Occidental Descent wrote a collection of articles.
We put them together that documents the impotency of the so-called conservative movement.
We talked about it last week.
The mainstream conservative movement.
Right, right, right.
And we consider ourselves still to be conservative.
I think it's a winning term.
I don't think people should abandon it just because it's been tainted and come up with new words that people don't understand to define ourselves.
But we talked about last week, Governor Nathan Dill in Georgia.
The corporate interests of Disney and the NFL superseded the will of the citizens there, and so now pastors are going to be forced to marry sodomites.
Well, here's what Hunter had to say.
How many times have we heard that we need to elect strong, principled, consistent, conservative Christians?
I'm old enough to remember when gay marriage wasn't legal and Nathan Dill was running for office as the real deal, meaning a hardcore conservative.
The fact is that these so-called conservatives and so-called Christians answer to the donor class and always end up selling you out.
There are a few things more predictable in the political universe.
Nathan Dill did it in Georgia, Mike Pence in Indiana, Jan Brewer in Arizona, Asa Hutchinson in Arkansas, so on and so forth.
We spent decades trying to put a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, and when you do, they refuse to overturn Roe versus Wade, but they managed to legalize sodomy and gay marriage.
In the state of Indiana, it was a bridge too far to defend Christian florists and bakers, and the state of Georgia is now a bridge too far for a Republican governor with the will of the majority to behind him to even defend pastors from having to officiate gay.
That's the guy they call the real deal.
Right, yeah, hardcore conservative in a deep southern red state.
In spite of this, these conservatives come on the internet and they tell us that Donald Trump isn't a true Christian.
He isn't a true conservative, that Ted Cruz is.
And, you know, Ted Cruz has accomplished nothing in the Senate.
He's financed by the big donors and it's explicitly told Paul Singer he won't make any move on the social issues, but you believe that he's going to be the one to sort these things out.
So this is what Hunter asks.
See what I mean?
To continue to vote in favor of consistent losers and to expect anything more than additional routes is insane.
It's one of the reasons that we're so high on Trump.
At least with Trump, you have someone who isn't owned and operated.
At least with him, you have a chance at something different.
With Cruz, with Kasich, with any of the other people that were running, it's going to be more losses, more defeats.
It's the way it is every time, without exception.
Keith, Supreme Court, full of Republican-nominated judges.
What do we get?
Loss after loss after loss.
These state legislatures lost after loss.
These Republican governors lost after loss.
They're conservatives.
Lose, lose, lose.
It's time for something different.
Look, the comparison between the Washington Generals and the Harlem Globetrotters is really appropriate compared with the one loss record racked up by Conservatism Inc., as they call it, or mainstream conservatives, people like the Weekly Standard, the National Review.
Basically, they make the Washington Generals look like the San Francisco Warriors or the Golden State Warriors, I think they're called now.
But, you know, with Steph Curry, the dominant team in the NBA now.
They are feckless.
They have, you know, if you look up the word feckless in the Webster's dictionary, they've got a picture of Karl Rove next to it.
I have a longer perspective on this than James.
I've been involved in conservatism since the civil rights movement.
And I can tell you that something mysterious and malignant happened with the Reagan victory in 1980.
Up until that point, conservatism lost a lot of battles, but it was basically honest and it fought for the interests of truly conservative people for truly conservative principles.
Then, when Reagan supposedly mainstreamed and people thought now conservatism is going to get the upper hand, suddenly there was a hostile takeover of institutions, periodicals, publications, broadcast outlets and whatnot that had been conservative in the past.
And you saw the development of a new type of conservatism called neoconservatism.
Neoconservatism was supposedly in the brainchild of Irving Crystal, the father of Bill Crystal, the editor of the Weekly Standard, who said he wanted a new type of conservative that you would not be ashamed to bring with you to a Manhattan cocktail party.
In other words, in Manhattan, the island of Manhattan in New York City, one of the five boroughs.
And his wife was Gertrude Himmelfarb, and she made a very prescient comment, too.
She said that Jews, and she's a Jew herself, and so is Irving, and so is David.
They live like Episcopalians, but vote like Puerto Ricans.
That is the key to all of this.
Neoconservatism, which came about in the first years of the Reagan Revolution after Reagan got the presidency, and he was facing the exact same type of opposition from the Republican elite that Donald Trump is facing now.
They suddenly took over conservatism.
They used their money.
They basically got William F. Buckley to sell out at the National Review.
Now you have people like Jonah Goldberg, Rich Lowry running the National Review.
You have the Weekly Standard run by David Crystal, or Bill Crystal, excuse me, the son of Irving and Gertrude.
And all of these people, basically, it's been a hostile takeover by Jews.
And Jews, as we said, are the most liberal part of the white population.
So basically, conservatism was taken over by liberalism in the early 80s.
That's where the problem really comes from.
They stole our patrimony when we were just about to inherit it.
We'll talk more about the death of conservatism and what needs to replace it, which is, of course, populism, nationalism, and economic patriotism.
We'll be right back.
We fought.
We learned.
We struggled.
We won.
Despite Obama's best efforts, the newspaper of the human resistance survives.

Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example?
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is you got to take the free test available now.
Get a hold of Kurt Crosby to learn about it.
The number's 801-669-2211.

And now back to tonight's show.
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
You know, we don't keep secrets from our audience here, and I can't proceed with this segment until Keith comes back out of the bathroom.
So we're going to spin our wheels here because he needs to be in here for this.
He's down the hall in the station here.
There he comes.
Come on back, buddy.
Commercial breaks over.
Hey, we actually got an email here from a guy who listens every week.
You know, there are people out there who actually listen to this show more than I do.
I think once or twice a year, I may miss a show to go out of town with my family or I'm on vacation or I'm giving a speech somewhere and we have Sam or Eddie or a collection of our talent fill in for me on a given night.
And I may miss that show.
You know, I might be here 51 weeks out of the year and I'll tune in to make sure everything aired properly and was put into the archives.
My mind might not listen to every minute because I know it's going to be great.
But there are people out there that never miss a show ever.
I mean, for years.
And this is a guy that emails us very often as one of your Jewish listeners.
And he gave us the pronunciation of the newspaper there.
He's given us the pronunciation key.
I won't even try to tackle that.
Well, he says it's all reds.
Like H doesn't exist in there, and that's probably correct.
Well, he would know.
We'll defer.
My bad.
I'm not Jewish.
I won't pretend to be Jewish.
Well, I like this guy, though.
We'll defer to the expert.
He writes in with a lot of good commentary and a lot of good suggestions and opinion.
I'm like the Rachel Doliak of Jewishness, right?
You can say you identify as that.
But no, you know, and that's the thing about it.
And again, we don't trot these things out there because, you know, our arguments and what we believe stands on its own two feet, whether or not we have any Jewish listeners or black listeners or whatever.
But the fact of the matter is that we do have not only Jewish and black listeners, but Jewish and black contributors to this show, people who financially donate to this program.
Let me say this.
And we're thankful for them.
Let me say this.
We are what we are.
We stand for what we stand for.
But if it's a message that attracts other people, then they're welcome to.
And we do not dislike Jewish people because of their ethnicity or their religion or their physical characteristics or any of the normal things that so-called anti-Semites supposedly believe.
The only reason we bring up Jewish power and influence is that it's well documented that Jews are the most liberal part of the white population.
It has been confirmed through demographic studies of election results.
Nothing is studied with the same intensity as demographic patterns in elections because it's of vital importance to people that want to get elected.
They've got everything broken down to the nth degree.
And what it shows is that 80% of the Jewish population typically votes for the Democratic candidate in a presidential election.
And of the 20% that don't, about half of those vote for somebody even further to the left.
So the chances are that if you encounter a Jewish person, nine out of ten of them are going to be very liberal.
Plus, they're smarter than the average bear, wealthier than the average bear.
And if you're a conservative, why wouldn't you want to know that information?
Well, look, it's perfectly reasonable to discuss these things.
And, you know, of course, I don't offer these videological reason that it's where we really stand for.
And we welcome people who appreciate the message of this show.
Now, you know, that's never going to get any play with the media.
You know, they conveniently overlook all of the bona fides on our website.
They look over all of the things talking about our faith, the heartfelt pictures of the family and all that.
None of that matters.
They've got the narrative written.
So we understand that.
But for the benefit of those who do come here, we like to.
If they really wanted to famous James, what they would do is take a picture of the left-wing protesters at an Amaran conference and say that that was the staff of the political cesspool.
That would do it.
All right.
Well, anyway, back to the whole conservatism is dead.
That's sort of the theme of this hour.
You know, now, Keith, we have a stand being taken.
A stand being taken in Minnesota, or in Mississippi, Minnesota would never take a stand.
Mississippi and North Carolina, two former Confederate states.
You know, if any righteous stand is going to be taken in this country, it's going to be in the South.
And they've put forth legislation to protect people from having to share bathrooms with mentally ill perverts of the opposite sex.
But we all know already how this is going to play out.
Those laws and that legislation is ready to fall with the stroke of a pen from an activist judge.
And what's going on here?
It's called the bathroom bill.
Now, you know, the next great frontier in civil rights and equality is you let people dressing up and drink.
They have unisex bathrooms.
Well, not only that, they just use the bathroom of their choice.
Let me tell these people something here.
Your biological sex determines your gender.
That's it.
Your genes.
That's set by God.
Your genes determine, your chromosomes determine your gender.
So all this sickness about, ah, well, I identify as a woman, so I'm going to go in there and pull out my unit and use the woman's bathroom.
That don't fly down here.
This is the Confederacy.
They don't fly down here.
But the CEOs are putting their foot down.
In 2016, it's outrageous that a pastor should not be required to officiate homosexual weddings or that public restrooms should be segregated by gender.
The far left, Keith, this goes back to the topic at hand.
The far left glides from victory to victory because they know that the only force opposing them are the fake conservatives and the fake Christians who answer to their donors and corporate sponsors.
And as it happens, there's only one presidential candidate who goes around the country boasting about how he will say no to the likes of Apple and Carrier and Ford.
And strangely enough, these so-called conservatives and so-called Christians are all strongly opposed to him.
Well, it's the Washington generals again.
Basically, they are rubbing our nose in it now with things like transgenderism and gay marriage.
They're letting us know that there is no bridge too far for liberalism.
They can make us enshrine in our laws the most radical egalitarian notions in the world and make it stick.
They can say that mentally ill people are the same as mentally capable people or mentally healthy people.
They can say that some transgender drag queen is as good as Ward Cleaver on the Leave It to Beaver show.
In other words, that person not only has the same rights, but he is to be regarded in the same light.
And how dare anyone question his right to go into the ladies' room or for some woman that thinks she's a man to go into the men's room?
And, of course, they're not going to do away.
I think you're right.
They're not going to do away with the distinction altogether and have unisex bathrooms because they still want to have a way to harass heterosexual people.
I've got one for you, though.
So the NBA is in all this too, of course.
It's just another major perverted organization.
But, you know, if the NBA really believes that there's no such thing as gender, separate genders, why is there a WNBA?
Why don't they just put those?
Yeah, why is there an LPGA, Ladies Professional Golf Tour Association?
Why is there men's tennis and women's tennis?
See, the thing is, when it gets down to something that basically can make money for non-white people or non-white males, then, of course, they love the distinctions and they're going to hold on to them.
And in athletics, of course, they know that when they get down to competition, there's no way that the women could compete with the men.
So consequently, they're going to keep those in place.
And furthermore, they're going to make the NBA finance WNBA just as much as the NBA.
And likewise, there's an initiative that came out in soccer, world soccer now, where the U.S. women's team wants to be paid on a par with men.
And in their teams, even though men's soccer is much more popular and much more lucrative throughout the globe than women's soccer.
Well, we're getting off topic a little bit, but it just, I mean, you can always point out the absurdity of their arguments with reality.
But talk about conservatism being dead and the losers that make up mainstream conservative conservatism.
You know, it's good that Mississippi and North Carolina have taken this stand on the religious freedom bathroom bill issue, but Republican-controlled state legislatures pass these kinds of face-saving token gesture bills all the time in an attempt to show that they're doing something.
And everybody involved expects the federal courts to block the legislation, but the state politicians get to tell the folks back home in their districts, all shucks, I tried.
They beat their chests.
They cover their Culture War defeats in a cloak of honor.
But, you know, what should happen, of course, is that these state governors should encourage these judges in the circuit courts and in the Supreme Court to come down to their states and enforce their rulings.
That's what Andrew Jackson would do.
Andrew Jackson said, the court has made its decision.
Now let it enforce it.
We need people like that again.
I think Trump may be that guy.

Salon Magazine came out with another article in which they attacked us as part of the vast white ring conspiracy.
They didn't quite put it in such flowery terms, but Salon Magazine on us this week.
And Huffington Post came out with a fantastic nightmarish scenario in which after Donald Trump is elected president, I become his press secretary.
So that was actually kind of fun to read, but that's out in the Huffington Post.
Yeah, Donald would have to give me Saturday nights off to come back to Memphis and do the political cesspool or else I'd have to turn it down.
But this is the point.
We're up against the entire global media.
The liberals and the so-called conservatives and the so-called leaders of our own churches.
The controlled opposition is what it is.
These people are, like you said, the Washington Generals.
They are the sparring partner of the left.
The left needs some type of opposition to stay in fighting trim, but there's no danger of the sparring partner knocking out the heavyweight champ.
There's no danger of the Washington Generals beating the Harlem Globetrotters.
And as long as the same old tired conservative mouthpiece, when Juan Williams at Fox News qualifies as a conservative, you know all is lost.
You know this is, you know, it's the emperor's new clothes.
Somebody tell them that they're naked up there, that they're nothing but liberals.
Basically, neoconservatism was nothing more or less than a hostile takeover by liberals of the conservative movement, conservative publications, radio shows, television programs, everything across the board.
And they have now redefined conservatism.
So I understand, James, exactly why so many people, they say Bill Crystal is conservative, Rich Lowry is conservative.
I want no part of that.
I'm in their amen corner on that.
And maybe we need to start calling ourselves something else like we're anti-liberal rather than conservative.
Here's the thing.
If you look at, look up the textbook.
In fact, I'll do it right now.
We don't need to waste a lot of time on this, but we'll look up right now the textbook definition of conservative.
All right, here it comes.
I'm pulling it up here on the computer at the radio station.
One that holds conservative adjective.
One who holds to traditional attitudes and values and is cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion.
I think textbook, in a textbook sense, we are textbook conservatives.
Where is a gay marriage conservative?
You know, is there such a thing?
You're playing right into my hands, Keith.
Let me get to that.
This is coming right up on the docket here.
But if you look at it, that would apply to us, certainly.
If you asked me, if I've never met you before, you're not familiar with the work of the political cesspool, you ask me, what are you?
I'm not going to get into, well, I'm an identitarian or I'm an alternative rightist.
People don't know what that means.
If I was, let me put it this way.
I'm not opposed to those terms.
I just don't think they're going to play in Main Street USA right now.
Maybe in 20 years they can catch on.
But if I was running for office again, and I ran for state representative in 2002, if I was running for office again, I would put in my brochure, I'm a conservative.
People understand what that means, even though, and they understand what that people, a lot of people say they're conservatives and they're not conservative at all.
But for a mainstream conservative, morality is synonymous with respectability and established norms.
In our society, the left engages in a project of perpetual social revolution and sets the ground rules of moral discourse through their control of the media and universities.
The role of conservatives in this system is to browbeat the true conservatives into conforming to the status quo, not to challenge it.
The moral compass of mainstream so-called conservatives is set by the left.
Give or take, a few decades, yesterday's fashionable leftist radicalism invariably becomes today's principled conservatism.
Trump, for example, is objectionable to these people because they are accustomed to dancing to the left's tune because they are driven by fashion and respectability.
They need social acceptance in order to survive every bit as much as they need food, water, and shelter.
Their morality is yesterday's liberalism.
They routinely ostracize real conservatives like us for violating this or that leftist taboo.
This is the establishment conservative or conservatism ink, if you will.
Now, this proves what you were talking about a moment ago.
Politico is reporting that the GOP is gearing up for a platform fight at this year's nominating convention, not over Donald Trump, although that too, but over homosexual marriage, jettisoning the traditional definition of marriage one year after the Supreme Court decision illustrates how this never-ending process happens in real time.
Keith, there are people, leaders in the Republican Party, that want to take out that plank because, well, again, they're just a few years behind radical leftism, and they're fighting hard, running fast to catch up.
That's mainstream conservatism.
And that's why they always lose.
Well, it's like Chinese baseball.
They move the bases when the ball's in the air.
You know, this is what they do.
They keep moving the center of gravity and the boundaries further and further to the left, to the point that if you got a time machine and you brought a 50s, 1950s conservative to America today and you heard it, had him listen to Bill Crystal or Rich Lowry or Jonah Goldberg or Karl Rove, he would tell you in no uncertain terms, this person is not only a liberal, this person is probably insane and needs to be under lock and key.
This is how far things have moved from true conservatism.
Now, I think we got it right, James.
We got it right from the beginning.
You know, Pat Buchanan's first book was called Right from the Beginning.
We were right from the beginning, too.
Basically, from the inception of this show, we have described ourselves as populist conservatives.
That's what we are.
We're populists.
We're nationalists.
We're American firsters.
We're economic patriots.
And when people try to tell you that something like free trade is a conservative value, they're blowing smoke at you.
When they tell you that being in favor of gay marriage is a conservative position, they're lying to you.
And it's time for somebody to have the courage to stand up and tell the lying liars that they're lying and to tell the public that the rules haven't changed any more than the word of God has changed or the U.S. Constitution has changed.
What has happened is the dishonesty of those in charge of forming opinions, the elites of this nation and of Western culture generally.
That's what has changed.
These people basically have an agenda, a one-world agenda, and they basically, everything that they say that they're against is a lie.
They are not against racism.
They're not against, you know, they're not for women and feminism.
They're not for homosexuals.
They are anti-white and anti-traditional society.
And once you understand that, once you've unlocked their template and you understand what is really motivating them, only then can you start to make an effective counter strategy.
Well, you know, I agree with everything you said, Keith.
And in spite of what they say, mainstream conservatives don't have any moral principles whatsoever.
Instead, they're oriented towards what's fashionable and respectable, not what is right or true.
This is why.
The only principle they have that they are really wedded to is money talks and BS walks and everything except money is BS.
Well, this is why the left is able to yank their chain so easily.
If the left makes enough noise about something, they will fold and eat their own for violating some sort of politically correct taboo.
Traditional moral virtues like loyalty and honor mean nothing to these people.
And that's why they lose all the time.
And that's why Trump's doing so well, though, is because people have caught on to the fact that the Republicans, when they had a Republican president, a Republican Supreme Court, and a Republican, the more they stayed the same.
During the Bush years, nothing changed.
Just more marching towards radical egalitarian.
Slouching towards Gamora, as the late, great Robert Bork said.
Well, and how about R.L. Dabney, who was the great Southern theologian?
He was Stonewall Jackson's chief of staff.
Even in his day, in the 1800s, he saw what was going on with American conservatism.
This is what he wrote about conservatives.
They're people who never conserve anything.
They have a history that has been, that demours to each aggression of the Progressive Party and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at the last innovation.
What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today one of the accepted principles of conservatism.
And it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will tomorrow be forced upon its timidity and will be succeeded by some third revolution to be denounced and later adopted in its term.
American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows radicalism as it moves toward perdition.
It's worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only and not of sturdy principle.
Now, that sounds like a guy who's no jackson would have made his terms.
Well, what a prescient man this was.
What a soothsayer.
He is the Nostradamus of America.
Let me tell you another thing that R.L. Dabney said that was great.
The big liberal initiative of his day was women's suffrage.
And quite frankly, there's a reason why that was the first item on the agenda of the left for destroying Western civilization.
They knew that if they got that, they could water down the electorate and make things much more likely to pass in the electoral process through voter initiatives.
And I'll tell you exactly what he said about it after these words from our sponsors.
Let's hang on and come back to the political sesh pool right after these messages here on the Liberty News Radio Network.

All right, talk about R.L. Dabney, Keith, and I thought he just nailed it, you know, with the profound assessment of conservatism.
That was in his day, and it's even more profound today what he said.
Pression, as you put it, Dabney saw the beginnings of the impotency of conservatives even back in the 1800s.
He accurately described how pseudo-conservatives express moral indignation at harmful innovations in society one day and then declare them to be the established orders in society the next, which is what we see going on with the Republicans in real time with the homosexual issue.
These same sellouts among the conservative ranks are willing to promote these ideas and innovations as conservative principles.
And of course, the one thing that Dabney did not foresee was how the whole process would be accelerated by the development of mass media.
I quite frankly think that the triumph of liberalism that we've witnessed in my lifetime over the past 60 or so years could never have occurred if it hadn't coincided with the development of mass media, radio, television, and of course the internet.
But let me give you an example that Dabney gave back in his day of this process that he just described in generic terms.
He said he was asked at the time whether he thought that the women's suffrage movement would succeed or fail.
And he said it will undoubtedly succeed not because of the merits or virtue of the concept of women's suffrage, but because of the fecklessness and the weakness of its conservative opponents.
He said what they would do is create a dust-up, a kerfuffle on the issue, put up token resistance, and when women's suffrage became a legal reality, when it was passed into law, conservatives would pat themselves on the back and say that if it were not for their valiant efforts, the public would have suffered the even greater indignity of child suffrage.
And then after he said, with the passage of time when child suffrage became the law of the land, then conservatives would pat themselves on the back and say, if it weren't for our manly opposition to child suffrage, we would have gone the bridge further to animal suffrage.
We'd have animals voting and children and whatnot.
Hey, listen, there is, you know, we've heard rumblings about this in recent years.
There was another major article in the media this week about how pedophilia is a sexual orientation, not a crime.
I mean, this is, I mean, you know it's coming.
That's sickness.
And it's really not much more sick than homosexuality.
Look, I was in New York City back in the 70s, and I had a former brother-in-law from Illinois who told me at that time.
Keith, he said, between gay Greenwich Village and the feet east side, they're about to stamp out heterosexuality altogether up here in Manhattan.
And I thought that was very funny at the time, but it was also very prescient because he saw what was going on.
Well, furthermore, you know, just think about this.
Gay marriage, all this gay stuff is something that was so far beyond the pale.
As recently as 10 years ago, it was the butt of a comedian's stock in trade.
I remember one comedian saying, what's all this stuff about gay marriage?
Haven't these people suffered enough?
It was funny.
It was a punchline.
Now, it's the law.
And basically what this is is a flexing of muscles by the left.
They're saying we can make you believe and do and embrace as law anything we darn well pleases.
We could make you believe in pedophilia.
That may be the next frontier.
You know, what did gay say back in the 70s to defend their position?
They said, what's wrong with our kind of love?
Well, that same rubric would certainly apply to pedophilia.
The pedophile would say, what's wrong with our kind of love?
Just love each other, and we want to be free to express our loving lovingness.
Well, more than, and I'll tell you, in 10 years, the GOP will probably be hawking pedophilia.
And it'll be part of their platform.
Unless something changes.
We hope something changes.
We hope Trump changes things.
But more than anything else, these establishment so-called conservatives crave to be accepted by their enemies and will tolerate any perversion being forced upon them so long as they don't get called an ugly name.
Which brings me to one of my favorite quotes, Keith.
In the world, it's called tolerance, but in hell it's called despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.
That pretty much sounds like a dream.
Well, I've also heard it put in a very succinct station.
It said, statement, tolerance is the last virtue of a virtuous society.
I think that was Aristotle, even, or to paraphrase.
Somebody said that, but nonetheless, that's, you know, this is what is happening.
Basically, the left is telling you that there is no longer a set of brakes on this buggy we call the United States of America.
They can basically pass any radical egalitarian initiative they want on us.
Bestiality, there'll be, you know, bestial marriage will be coming along shortly, just hide and watch, as they say.
We had a woman in France last year, I believe, a woman in France last year married a stone bridge over a stream.
Now, you know, how, you know, this absurdity, we're supposed to take this absurdity as reality, and we're supposed to solemnly nod our heads and, you know, attend some marriage of a woman marrying a bridge, apparently.
She said the bridge was beautiful and had a great soul.
We're talking about a bridge as in a bridge you drive over, and they perform.
That's a bridge too far, as far as I'm concerned.
Well, not for them.
But this is that quote that I read a moment ago, I think it really describes the modern-day conservative movement and frankly the modern-day church as well.
You know, as A.W. Tozer put it, quote, religion today is not transforming people, rather, it is being transformed by the people.
It is not raising the moral level of society.
It is descending to society's level and congratulating itself that it has scored a victory because society is smilingly accepting its surrender.
And of course, we bemoan the fact that church attendance is down both in the United States and particularly in Europe.
But when you see church leaders, denominational leaders embracing things like this, and also, for example, Russell Moore with the Southern Baptist Convention turning around and telling his flock that no good Christian can support Donald Trump, but he can support the proponents of gay marriage.
He's totally silent about Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton.
Apparently, you can be a good Clinton and vote, I mean, a good Christian and vote for them, but you can't be a good Christian and vote for Donald Trump.
And why?
They say that Donald Trump is a racist.
What evidence do they have of that?
Absolutely nothing.
Not one racist utterance or anything that could even in the diseased imagination of a leftist be considered racist has ever passed his lips.
But nonetheless, you know, in their heart, they know it's right.
So consequently, if they say it, we're all supposed to nod and say amen.
Well, we got to be bold, fight on, tell the truth and love, and vote for Trump in this election.
But, you know, Eddie is, he ran 22 miles yesterday.
He's in an ice bath tonight, I guess.
But he sent something in that I want to read at least as much of it as I can before the end of this segment because we've got to switch to Confederate history in the next hour.
But I would say this.
Look at the textbook definition of conservative.
It's a word that applies to us if you use the literal definition.
I wouldn't say throw the word out.
I would say that the reason they have hijacked it is because it is so powerful and it is so true.
But, you know, call yourself whatever.
Just work for what you're doing.
What it does show ultimately, James, is the power of money.
If people with money get behind something and are actually willing to put their money where their mouth is, as Jewish liberals have, then they will be a force to be reckoned with.
That's what it's proven.
We do live in a world in which the primary principle, the golden rule, the modern golden rule, is he who has gold makes a rule, not the golden rule that James and I learned in Sunday school, which is to do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.
Whole hour has been about the death of conservatism.
And I still like the word conservative.
still apply it to myself but what we need is but we we do admit it's badly misused to describe somebody like carl rove or bill crystal rich lowry Economic patriotism and America-first nationalism, and that's what Trump's bread and butter is.
Now, Eddie, I don't really have enough time to get into this.
We may carry some of this over into the third hour, but Eddie wrote me an email today since he couldn't be in saying that he's really enjoying all of the hit pieces that are out there against us.
And it occurred to him that we're hurting them week in, week out.
We hurt them with the most powerful weapon at all, and that's the truth.
And that's why they're, in his opinion, and I think mine too, putting so much investment and media attention on attacking us because our punches are landing, Eddie writes.
We have haymakers for truth.
And the entire cucked establishment is Dizzy Wobbly on their feet desperately holding on to the ropes in a futile attempt to avoid the canvas because they can no longer lie and get away with it as they've done in the past.
And that's because of the advancement of alternative media, what we're doing here with Liberty News Radio, and because of Donald Trump.
The controlled media can no longer sit on the truth, giving aid and comfort to the enemy because there's people like us out there, like Drudge and the others, that are getting body shots landed on these people.
Case in point with the cucked leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention, the South, all of these states that are bastions for Southern Baptists, Trump won the South in a block vote.
The only Confederate state he lost was Texas because Cruz is from there, and I guess they thought they'd get a little more pork if he got elected.
But, you know, what better way to show the SBC elites how far out of touch they are with their own congregants than to have the entire South vote for Trump, which they did.
And it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, Eddie writes, that the political assessment Trump supporters are not the one out of touch with reality.
It's the elites of these institutions, and it's the media.
And it's a pleasure to know they're shooting blanks.
Look at how many people are waking up to what the media is doing.
And they no longer have a disciplined plan of attack.
They're throwing out these slurs and defamations and libels against anyone that opposes them.
And they're defeated already because of that, and they know it.
And barring some miracle, Eddie thinks that a route is in the making, folks, and they're acting out of desperation.
I'll read a little bit more of this in the third hour because it is germane to what's going on with Confederate History Month.
But with that being said, folks, we're going to take a break and come back with tonight's installment of Confederate History Month right after this.
Stay tuned.
Me and Keith with you for the full three hours tonight.
They can, but don't go away.
There's more to come right here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
