Time Text
U.S. You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, everybody, third and final hour of our last show of the year.
Another year has come and gone for us here in the Political Cesspool.
It's Saturday evening, December the 27th, 2014.
Keith, when we come back on the air next Saturday night, it will be a new year.
And in just a few minutes, we are going to look back on the year that was in the political cesspool, at least some of the highlights anyway.
And we're going to chart a course that we hope to be able to navigate in 2015.
We've got some big plans for the show, but of course, none of those dreams can be realized without the support of our listening audience who for 10 years has sustained us, but we take nothing for granted.
Just because they've been there for 10 years don't mean they'll be there next year unless we do our part.
So our part we will strive to do.
It is a reciprocal partnership that we have here serving as the voice of so many people.
But in order to do that, we need their support.
And anyway, we'll talk about that a little later in the hour.
Keith has brought a smorgasbord here of news articles, and we're going to let him pick a couple of his favorites to tell you about.
Keith, what's your number one pick tonight?
Well, I have several number one picks, James, because, you know, things are, you know, everything's coming up roses, as the old Ethel Merman song used to say, for those of us in the paleoconservative right.
Things tend to be breaking well, not breaking badly for us.
Here's a perfect example.
You know, one of our big problems is that we're frozen out of the mainstream media.
But guess what?
Like the old gray mayor, the mainstream media ain't what it used to be.
Here's an article from the Memphis Daily News back in November.
Scripps sees newspaper revenues decline.
You got a good story here for us, a feel-good story.
Absolutely.
The newspaper unit of the E.W. Scripps Company, that's a syndicate of newspapers, primarily in other communication media facilities, but primarily a newspaper company, barely made enough money to cover expenses in the third quarter.
That's according to Scripps' third quarter results, which show that the company's newspaper group with a profit of less than 1% margin for the period from July through September of 2014.
Revenue for the quarter was $84.5 million and expenses were $83.7 million.
Okay, what does that tell you?
That tells you that the print media, the newspapers, the magazines and whatnot are definitely dying.
They're dying a slow, protracted death.
They're being buoyed by liberal money, but even liberal money isn't enough for these people to turn anything like a competitive profit, the type of profit that would attract investors who want real money in return for their investment.
So, again, the internet radio programs like ours, this is the wave of the future.
And we in the paleoconservative right are uniquely poised to take advantage of this paradigm shift, James.
And now, let's get to another one.
Falling oil threatens recovery.
Gas costs less, but the rate of decline is scaring people.
This is from the USA Today of December the 11th, 2014.
Apparently, the Saudi Arabians are glutting the world market with oil, low-priced oil.
It's causing problems for Putin's Russia.
It's causing problems for the oil patch in America, but it is benefiting.
They say it's an ill wind indeed that doesn't blow somebody some good.
And the somebody who is being blown some good by all of this is the average American whose basic fundamental interface with the petroleum industry is when they stop at the gasoline station and fill up their car or their SUV.
Now we're seeing that gas is finally getting down to where it ought to be around $2 a gallon.
And it looks like it's going to be there for a while.
Now the Saudis may think that will stop the United States from developing its newly discovered reserves that are accessible through fracking, but they've got another thought coming because quite frankly oil is around $55 a barrel.
It would have to get below $40 a barrel before it would become economically unwise to pursue fracking.
You can make a profit with fracking oil when it's at $40 a barrel or above.
So consequently, I don't think this is going to slow the development of fracking.
It may slow the development of old-fashioned oil drilling in the United States and elsewhere, but fracking is not only opening up new vistas of petroleum reserves, it's also cheaper to do than the old-fashioned drilling.
We know about the drilling, but you know, we're familiar with it.
We feel comfortable with it.
Apparently people in the oil patch do, but there is a lot of money to be made and a just, you know, almost unfathomable reserve of oil and natural gas that is going to become available for our use,
proving the truth of Abraham Lincoln's observation that America is so abundantly blessed with natural resources and so naturally protected by two large boats called the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans that he concluded that America must endure forever or die by suicide.
If we could just get the Jewish contingent under control so that we're not bleeding our wealth and our blood in foreign wars, primarily benefiting the state of Israel, we could obtain the prosperity that we knew, for example, in the immediate post-war era of 1946 to 1954 again.
We could be back on top if we could somehow take the sting out of the charge of being isolationists.
Being an isolationist is a good thing, and we need to let people understand that.
That's the best thing for America.
It's, you know, basically keeping our border secure, not letting every Tom, Dick, and Harry throughout the world come in and belly up to the bar, get in the free buffet line, and using our resources for the benefit of the American people, initiating a new set of tariffs to basically jumpstart the manufacturing sector in America,
because quite frankly, most Americans of any race need a manufacturing sector job in order to have a middle-class existence.
They can do it without unions.
Even without unions, manufacturing sector jobs typically pay twice as much as a service sector job plus employee benefits.
This is all here and doable now because of what is happening.
So I say the new year looks mighty good for us, James.
Well, we certainly hope that it will, Keith.
And I believe you may be right.
We're going to will it so.
Stay tuned, everybody.
We'll be back with more.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is you got to take the free test available now.
Get a hold of Kurt Crosby to learn about it.
The number's 801-669-2211.

Imagine a school where faith and integrity are at its center, where heritage and responsibility instill character.
Where educating both hearts and minds brings about academic excellence.
There is a school in American Fork where character and embracing the providence of a living God are fundamental.
Where students' national test scores average near the 90th percentile.
Based on LDS principles and a love of country, now in our 39th year, American Heritage School is accepting fall enrollment for kindergarten through high school.

And now, back to tonight's show.
You know, it's been a very busy couple of months for us here in the political cesspool.
It started, of course, in mid-October when we had our huge 10-year anniversary celebration and that very special show.
It was really a couple of weeks' worth of shows that we invested in looking back on 10 years.
And then we had, I guess, a relatively normal month in November.
And then, of course, in December, you always have the fun shows with Christmas and the Christmas music.
And we're talking about things.
We had a cis pool party over at my house.
That's right.
That was just.
For everybody that was in striking distance and could come.
We kept the same vibe going that we had at our 10-year celebration back in August, right?
That's right.
It was a packed house at Keith's about, I don't know, about what, 10 days ago, eight or nine days ago.
Old and middle-aged.
People that tell you that paleoconservative is some movement exclusively populated by old, embittered white males.
That's what the Southern Poverty Law Center would have you believe should have been at this party.
Or at our event in Memphis, obviously.
You're right.
A very young, attractive, intelligent people in addition to the men and women, young and old.
Believe me, our message resonates with an awful lot of people.
It's just our job, our duty, to get the word out and to basically counter all the slanders and the defamation that is leveled at us by the leftist media, people like the Southern Poverty Law Center, like the Anti-Defamation League of the— The ironically named Anti-Defamation League, they do nothing but defame people like us.
Yeah, those people and the mainstream leftist-dominated media are losing more and more credibility with every passing day, James.
And we, on the other hand, are gaining credibility.
So that's the good.
We focused on the good in the last segment.
I was just saying that to say this, though, before you get into it.
We've had a lot of, as you mentioned, special events, both on and off the air, some busy shows.
They're all successes.
Well, they've all been good shows, obviously.
That goes without saying.
But, you know, what we're doing right now is we're letting you dig into some news stories that have been shelved as a result of all of these other activities that we've had to cover.
And you know, the Southern Poverty Law Center, it was something you brought up, I think, in the past two weeks, was talking about hate tourism in the state of Tennessee.
Well, you know, there's a kernel of truth in what they're saying.
If we are hate, and we're not, by the way, and everybody that listens to us and everybody that attends one of our meetings will tell you that that is the furthest thing from the truth.
But paleoconservatism is definitely on the rise.
Our moon is waxing here.
We are, you know, we've had one after another successful gathering.
American Renaissance has found a permanent home, it looks like, in the Tennessee State Park system, a place where the left apparently can't sabotage things with their you know threats and Death threats and things like this.
They you know their typical tactics.
It just doesn't work and, as a result, We're having more and more people show up every year to things like the Amaran conference.
We're starting off with our own conference and, believe me, it was a resounding success.
We've had people say that they've never been to one that enjoyable before, and the party we had just, you know, a little bit over a week ago, likewise was a hands-down success.
And you need these departures not departures from our work, because certainly the work moved on in addition to all of these other special festivities and activities.
But anyway, what i'm saying is you're digging back into some news stories tonight that that got pushed aside so we could, you know, enjoy these special events and uh, next week, when we get back into the studio in 2015, it's going to be back to brass tacks and, you know, certainly we'll still have a good time and enjoy each other's company and have some fun on the air, but it'll be back to to a lot, a lot more news.
But, but this is why we call it the holidays I don't say the holidays in a secular term.
I'm lumping in halloween thanksgiving, our birthday, christmas and new year's.
Obviously it's the christmas season, so don't get me wrong there, but it is a busy time of the year and we've done a very good juggling act.
But when we get back next week, it's going to be, you know, I don't want to say businesslike, as if we haven't been businesslike in recent weeks but it's, you know, it's just back to work.
It's just back to work next week and it'll be more segments like this Keith, where you're, you're covering articles like this that you've brought, like I said, when you get the good in the first segment of the third hour of uh today's show, of this week's show, now we're going to the ugly and of course, the ugly has a common theme.
For example, here's an article from the Commercial Appeal UM celebrating the Brown Versus Board Of Education, 60th anniversary, wide divide, 60 years after landmark court decision, segregation gains grounds in U.s school.
Then we have another one from just a few weeks ago.
In Usa, today of uh, december the 11th 2014, post-racial teens struggle with a world that isn't Staten Island.
Ferguson incidents show still there, indeed it is there's more segregation, despite the herculean efforts of the left and the untold trillions of dollars that have been spent to publicly, to integrate public education and to level the playing field between blacks and whites.
Mother nature isn't having any part of it.
Okay, you can't fool mother nature, as the old UH TV ad used to say, and mother nature has decreed that there is a big racial iq gap, 15 points between the average iq of whites, blacks in the United States.
30 points between whites in the United States and blacks in South Saharan Africa.
The average IQ in South Sahara and Africa is 70.
The average IQ of whites in America is 100.
The average IQ of blacks in America is 85.
15 is what's called a standard deviation point.
A standard deviation point means that only because of the bell-shaped configuration of the distribution of human intelligence, if the high water point is 85 for blacks and 100 for whites, that means only 16% of blacks are as smart as or smarter than the average white person in America.
And furthermore, only 16% of whites are as dumb as or dumber than the average black person in America.
That is something that seems to be written in stone despite efforts made to eliminate that gap.
The gap of 15 points has more or less remained constant for as long as IQ has been charted since the early part of the 19th century.
This is one of these laws of nature, folks.
And all the king's horses and all the king's men are not going to change this.
They've broken the public schools where they're not usable.
Nobody who really cares about their children wants to throw them into the black hole of Calcutta that most urban public school systems have morphed into since the Brown versus Board of Education decision.
And these articles written in newspapers dominated by liberals are the proof of the pudding.
They wouldn't be, if there was something better to be said, they would be saying it.
But instead, they just don't learn from experience.
You know, it was Einstein who said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.
What have liberals done in the field of public education except try more cowbell or more racial integration ever since 1954 and the results have gotten no better when all the dust is settled folks?
That's what's holding America back.
Liberalism is holding America back.
We're going to take a break and when we come back at long last in the last 30 minutes before the new year, we're going to take a look back on the year that was top 10 most memorable moments coming right up.

You know, life moves pretty fast when you're hosting this radio program and the weeks go by quickly and it's just one thing after another, one headline after another.
We're in the news, we're doing this, we're going there.
It's easy after a few weeks past to forget the things that happened even a couple of months ago.
I always have to, at this time of year, Keith, go back and take a look through the archives of our website to see what happened over the course of a year.
Some things you obviously remember.
Some things you go back and say, oh yeah, I forgot about that.
So I'll ask you very quickly, without having the benefit of going back and sifting through the archives, Keith, what were the most memorable moments for you in 2014 as in your capacity as a co-host of this program?
One of them was definitely last week with Sean Bergen's man-on-the-street-on-the-scene coverage of the assassination of two New York City policemen by a black assailant,
who was obviously inspired by the official reaction of both his mayor in New York City and the president of the United States and his attorney general to incidents involving the killing of...
of black criminal assailants by policemen in Ferguson, Missouri, on Staten Island, and elsewhere.
This was, you know, the grim harvest that liberals reap when they try to agitate.
And, you know, there's a reason why our ancestors in the South used to call civil rights activists outside agitators.
You know, Schwerner and Goodman were definitely one outsiders.
You know, Birmingham didn't go up to Great Neck Long Island to get them to change their folkways.
Greatneck Long Island came to the South.
So they're outsiders, and they are there primarily to agitate, cause trouble, and hopefully cause trouble to the establishment.
That's what they did in the civil rights movement.
The game book hasn't changed.
It's the same thing now that it always has been.
Well, Keith, with that being said, we are going to cover what, in my opinion, were some of the top 10 moments.
And I'm going to give number 10.
This really has nothing to do with the show other than one of our people participated in it, but it does go to show that the political cesspool or the people associated with this program and that make this show go are engaged in mind, body, and soul.
And I put this in there almost as an honorary position, but I wanted to anchor it in the top 10 because, you know, Eddie's marathon runs.
You know, we've talked about it on this show.
This man ran three 26.2 mile marathons this year, three of them in Nashville, New York, and Memphis.
At age 67.
You know, so we're proud of that.
We're proud of Eddie.
That, to me, is number 10.
You know, he's been running these marathons each year for a few years now, but to run three in about nine months.
His life and his races are the ultimate testament to the unconquerable spirit of the human soul.
He has been able to come through and do something that, quite frankly, I don't think anyone would have thought was possible.
And he did it by sheer dent of hard work and a strong will.
So to Eddie the Bombardier Miller, you're number 10, my friend.
I know he couldn't be here tonight.
I think he's going hunting with his bird dogs in the morning, but we'll get Eddie in here next week to kick off the new year the right way.
Number nine for me, and Keith, I'll let you explain why this is always numbered in the top 10.
Our annual Confederate History Month series.
For me, this year, it's number nine.
Well, the Confederate History Month, our God and country and region, and our unabashed no retreat, no apology, no surrender approach on all of the good old ways of the red state American nation within a nation are our signature issues.
We're never going to surrender these.
We're never going to consider them passe because, quite frankly, our ancestors were right.
We're one of the few media outlets that will say that unabashedly and unapologetically.
The South was right.
The South was not fighting over slavery.
They were fighting over being commissaried by a group of political enemies in the North that had gained what seemed to be, and with every passing year, this assessment proves more and more true.
The federal government is in the permanent hands of our enemies, our ideological enemies.
We're going to have to continue to look to the Confederacy for inspiration because this is what has happened.
This is, you know, we are fighting the Civil War all over again now, only we call it red state and blue state America now.
And the only way that we'll have a decent nation is if we split.
That's, you know, I become more and more convinced of that with every passing year.
So why shouldn't we celebrate those who saw this coming over 150 years ago and acted upon?
Speaking of Confederate History Month series, this leads me into number eight on my top 10 countdown, with Eddie's marathons being number 10 and the Confederate History Month, the annual series we do each year, number nine.
Number eight, this was one of the things I'd actually forgotten about that occurred.
Back in March, I received an email from a reporter for the daily newspaper in Charleston, South Carolina, and he was doing a story on Glenn McConnell.
Now, Glenn McConnell was the former lieutenant governor of South Carolina, and I believe he was a state senator back in 2007 when he appeared on the political cesspool during our Confederate History Month series of that year.
So he's a state senator.
After his appearance on the political cesspool, he becomes the lieutenant governor.
The reason they called me, though, is because he was named this spring to become the new president of the College of Charleston there in Charleston, South Carolina.
So seven years after the fact, a newspaper in the Southern Poverty Law Center attacked this man for having appeared on our show, and the Southern Poverty Law Center was just in some sort of a...
Inside itself.
Yeah.
Yes, beside itself, because he'd come on our show during Confederate History Month and basically said nothing more incendiary than Southerners should be proud of who they are.
You know, he did a good interview, but it wasn't anything over the top.
It wasn't anything, really, any red meat at all.
It was nice to have a senator on the show.
But anyway, so there was this big front page article in the Charleston newspaper.
The Southern Poverty Law Center captures the audio from this interview and posts it to their website, trying to get this man fired, but they did not succeed.
Glenn McConnell still is the president of the College of Charleston and never backed away from his appearance on the political cesspool.
Chalk another one up for the good guys, folks.
That's right.
Number eight, Glenn McConnell's appearance in 2007, making front page news again in 2014.
But it's good to associate with people.
We're looking forward to the day when we can attack somebody for appearing in the annals of the Southern Poverty Law Center and having them blackballed, because that's the way it really ought to come down.
Well, that's exactly right.
I mean, Glenn McConnell appearing on a Christian conservative radio program is certainly nothing to be ashamed of at all, and he apparently wasn't.
Since he represented a presidency that was primarily Christian and conservative.
Well, that's right.
And they're in South Carolina.
But yes, people who aid and abet the mission of the Southern Poverty Law Center are reprehensible and are evil in many ways.
And they're also very much the minority in Alabama, for sure, where they're located.
Well, that's right.
They're in Montgomery, which we received a contribution from a resident of Montgomery this week.
If we don't move quicker, though, we're never going to get done with this.
We're down to number seven.
Number seven for me this year was the Swedish television series, which I taped in the fall of 2000.
What year is this now?
2013.
In 2013, in the fall of 2013, I spent a couple of days in Nashville where they were taping this reality show that aired on the biggest network in Sweden.
Millions and millions and millions of viewers.
And I spent a couple of days, and they asked me all of these questions, and we did a lot of different scenes, and it was just hours and hours and hours of footage of me, you know, talking about the issues.
I was cast to be a very main component of this reality series.
Well, when it actually aired, I think they left 99% of my right on the cutting room floor.
That's right.
But it's still, they still aired a little bit of it.
And we got some, we picked up some listeners in Northern Europe as a result of that exposure, as little as it was.
This would have ranked much higher on the rankings this year on the top 10 list if they had given me a little more play.
But the experience alone is worthy of a spot.
So we'll give that the number seven position.
Number six.
Let me find it here.
This is in no particular order.
You know, we continue to find new and better ways to accommodate our ever-growing listening audience.
And around the 4th of July, we posted some different methods by which our internet audience can tune into the program.
And of course, we still have the Roku player, the Roku channel.
We still have the Listen Live line over the telephone, the internet streams, the AM FM affiliates.
But we added or bolstered the means by which you can listen on the internet.
And so just that little bit of work, never resting on our past laurels, comes in at number six.
We're going to give you the top five in our final segment of the year right after this.
And Keith, we're going to have to make haste.
We've got to go a little bit quicker than we're going to do.
We got five done in the first segment.
Shouldn't be any problem to get five done.
All right, everybody.
Stay tuned.

All right, folks, we're going to have to boogie if we're going to finish this.
Only 10 minutes left in our radio year, but we'll be back with you to start a new one the first week of January 2015.
Counting down the top 10 moments as I see them for the show this year.
Number 10 was Eddie's Triple Marathon run.
Number nine, these are in no order here, by the way, so I'm having to bounce back on my page of notes.
Confederate History Month, clock sent at number nine.
Number eight, if I can find it, Glenn McConnell, the Glenn McConnell story, the manufactured story.
Number seven, my appearance on the Swedish reality show and the taping and that whole process.
Number six, bolstering the ways you can listen to the program.
You know, each and every year, we're proud of our work.
And 2014 was another banning year for the Political Assess Bull, a show that stands alone in the English-speaking world as a mainstream media entity dedicated to the unapologetic advocacy on behalf of conservative European Americans.
When you're listening to the voice of the American right, you are listening to the Political Assess Bull Radio Program.
Counting down the top five now.
Number five, our interview with Anthony Cumeya.
That was certainly our biggest newsmaking interview this year.
It got national attention.
Anthony Cumeya was fired from his long-running and very popular Sirius XM satellite radio program after he was assaulted by a black woman in New York.
And he didn't appreciate the experience, so they fired him.
And he came on our show.
And what makes this interview stand out to me was that he was a celebrity that spoke out in the very same voice that we speak out about these issues, and he didn't recant.
He didn't recant after they came after him, and he didn't say he was sorry.
And he is like Glenn McConnell.
You know, if you stand true, they really are a paper tiger.
Glenn McConnell is still the president of the College of Charleston.
Anthony Cumey is making as much money now, I would assume, as he did on Sirius XM with his own internet television.
He has more freedom.
Right, and more freedom.
So Anthony Cumey is doing just fine, but we got national news as a result of his interview.
I'm proud that he didn't back down from the remarks he made on our show.
That was very encouraging.
Number four to me, Sean Bergen.
Sean Bergen, you know, on with us, he climbed the ladder in a hurry in these last two weeks, providing exclusive live coverage on the streets of New York.
And as you heard in the first hour tonight, he has now joined us as an official correspondent and contributor to the Political Assess Bull.
So to add a veteran newsman, a true pro-he's the only pro in our outfit besides Sam Bushman.
And to add him to our stable of talent is certainly worthy of a top five positions.
So Sean Bergen in at number four, Anthony Cumey at number five.
And you know, these two collaborated.
Sean Bergen and Anthony Cumeyo were both fired this year for telling the truth.
Sean Bergen was fired from the television outlet that he worked for for saying that fatherlessness in the black community contributed to their shenanigans.
That's all he said.
And their pathology.
And their pathology.
That's certainly not their only problems, but it certainly contributes to.
He was fired just for saying something as simple and as logical as that.
Anthony Cumeo fired for similar remarks.
Not only did they both come together on the political assessboll, Sean Bergen has been a regular guest on Anthony Cumio.
He's got a show here.
So they kind of go hand in hand.
But Sean appearing on Anthony Cumeo's show.
And we're very happy to have him.
We're very happy to have Anthony Cummio when he came.
We are, you know, we're a tree with many branches, many birds can find shelter here.
We have to find a way.
You know, we're all talented.
None of them will be fed.
None of them will be paid, but they can find sanctuary.
The thing is, they can find access to the airways through us.
We're all amateurs.
Basically, you said Sam Bushman and Sean Bergen were the two pros that we have.
Art Frith, who does some production, we work on occasion, and was our longtime producer.
The rest of us are, we may consider ourselves talented amateurs.
Others may quibble with that.
But nonetheless, we're doing this as a labor of love.
And we are going to continue to do this, come hell or high water, because somebody's got to say it.
You know, it's work that Americans don't want to do.
Well, I don't know.
The Southern Property Law Center recently wrote that I was a professional racist.
So I guess there is some professionalism in it.
I guess what separates a professional from an amateur is...
If you're a professional, you'd be getting paid for it.
That is the thing.
That is the thing.
So whatever you are, you're not a professional.
Well, that's the thing.
So that is what separates.
When I say professional, you know, this is a professionally produced show, and it is a professionally hosted show.
It is just not our profession.
It's not our occupation.
It's not our paying job.
We do a professional job.
It's not our professional.
But we do it without remuneration.
That's right.
There you go.
So a fine line between professionalism in terms of content and a paid profession.
Nevertheless, I'm splitting hairs now.
We're very proud of the work we do on the show.
Number three is our plans for the future.
I put this on the top 10 countdown for 2014 because these plans were hatched during this calendar year.
We hope that they will bear fruit in the coming year.
But there have long been two things that I've wanted to do with this show.
And right after our 10-year anniversary celebration, we got to work on it.
And number one was bringing on someone who would contact radio stations across the country in an aggressive bid for expansion.
Now, we don't know how this is going to work out, but we do have someone.
The effort's being made.
The effort is being made.
And there's been some behind-the-scenes work to get everything prepared for this outreach initiative.
And in the early parts of January, we're going to have a young lady contact dozens, if not hundreds, of radio stations in hopes of adding affiliate stations to our roster.
The time is right right now because we have honed the product now to the point where I think it will be attractive.
And the second thing I've always wanted to do, we've just never had enough money to do it, is I'd like to hire an agent.
You know, I think, you know, we talk about professionalism.
You look at our credentials.
You look at the amount of news we've made.
You've looked at all of the success this show has had, the guests that we've had, everything that goes into the portfolio of the political assessment.
I think we have a marketable show.
You know, we should be making regular appearances on the major television networks as commentators in addition to our work here on the radio.
I would always wanted to hire professional representation to go out and secure some of these interviews.
But we've just never been able to raise enough money to do that.
But those are the two things I'd like to do in 2015.
We'll just see how much support we get.
Certainly the fundraising drives go to keep us on the air.
We'd like to be able to invest above and beyond that to expanding the empire.
And we are going to be making this concerted effort to add more AM FM affiliates.
That's in the bag.
I'd like to also try to make Viking raids into the establishment media with more frequency, but we'll just see.
We'll just see what happens.
50 bucks a month from 1,000 people would get it done.
Hey, listen, that's more money than we make in a couple of years on this show, but it could get it done.
And of course, everything.
Then on the other hand, we're always in the top 10.
There you go.
That's what I'm talking about.
We're always in the top 10 in our time slot for internet traffic.
So obviously there is a market out there for what we've got, what we're doing.
We just can't get commercial sponsors.
You know, a show of this caliber, a show that is this well done, should have, and a show that reaches as many people as we do, and a show that makes as many headlines as we do.
It should have major commercial sponsorship, but we can't get that because we tell the truth.
That's not anything.
You know, our people spend money just as well or just as readily or more readily than other groups that are courted by network, media, news, the TV, the radio, and whatnot.
So, you know, somebody's missing a wonderful opportunity.
Hopefully somebody will figure that out.
But we're, you know, listen, we're not going to rest on the things that we've done in 2015.
We're going to redouble our efforts to do more and to accomplish more.
I guarantee you that with your support, ladies and gentlemen, but we still need to make sure that we wrap up this quarterly fundraising drive with enough in the storehouse to keep the wheels on the wagon.
And it's tenuous, as it always is.
We hope that you'll support us.
Got two more things.
Number two on the list, the networking we've been able to do with the weekly antidote show in Sweden, the Swedish-based show.
I've had three appearances with them this year, the very first of which has now received over 25,000 downloads.
That's one appearance on one show reaching 25,000 people.
That's a basketball stadium.
And we've been with them twice more since that initial appearance.
We're making great inroads in Northern Europe.
That's why I think this ranks higher than Anthony Coumia.
You know, we could have a celebrity on the show every week if that's what we wanted.
We're here to do the work.
You know, so many people say they'll die for what they believe in, but so few are willing to work for it.
We work for it, and we work with others who do.
And of course, one of the key figures of that show, Jonas DeGuer, has been on our show a couple of times as well this year.
Number one for me, obviously, Keith, it goes without saying, and we're not going to spend a lot of time talking about it because we have, well, we don't have a lot of time left.
We have about 30 seconds, but it's been well documented.
The number one item this year is perhaps the number one item over the course of our 10-year run, a decade on the air, and it was celebrated in grand style in Memphis.
Number one on my list in the top 10 countdown.
Our 10-year anniversary celebration here in Memphis, anchored by the great Sam Bushman, all those great people coming together.
That's number one, not just this year.
That's number one for me all time.
And 1A is a party at my house last week.
There you go.
So there we go.
Hand in hand.
That's like big Enos and Little Enos, right?
The same familial bonds, the same camaraderie.
It was a great time at Keith.
It was a great time in Memphis.
It was a sold-out crowd.
You can listen to that show, of course, by going back to the archives and I'm sure.
You seem to have captured something special, I think, in this show.
There's a special spirit between us that we share, the people who work on this show, and certainly with our audience.
And I think it's palpable, and I think the audience feels it, and we feel it.
And this show, you know, listen, what motivates us is a love for our people, our history.
I wish we weren't out of time, but listen, folks, that's a year, another year in the bag.
I'm shaking the hand of Keith Alexander.
Thank you, Keith, for being with us this year.
I look forward to a great 2015 with you, brother, and with everyone else as well.
Thank you so much, and have a great week, folks.
Happy New Year, everybody.
God bless you.
We'll see you next Saturday night in Twenty fifteen.
