Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, everybody.
We're going to continue on with Amnesty for just a couple of more minutes because we're going to get Keith Alexander to weigh in on this.
I had to banish Eddie to the green room.
You know, we're a top 10 show in our time slot, so we've got a harem in the green room.
And so we've got the girls with looms of grapes, you know, calming Eddie down a little bit after that last hour.
Anyway, Keith is going to take a point with me this hour.
I want to quickly read something Richard Spencer wrote.
Our good friend Richard Spencer, who is playing the star role in a local production of The Crucible in his Whitefish, Montana home.
He's come under fire there and they're witch hunting him.
You can Google Richard Spencer, do a Google news search for Richard Spencer and read about that if you want to.
But here's what Richard writes.
Barack Obama's executive amnesty on immigration isn't exactly the amnesty that those in the immigration reform movement feared.
Some five million people who are in the United States illegally will not be deported, but won't be granted citizenship either, at least not yet.
So it's not quite the end of America, for better and for worse.
We should expect the current dispensation to slouch along for a few more decades.
Obama's action does, however, punctuate the end of the immigration reform movement, the point at which standard restriction has become truly irrelevant.
We must be mature enough to recognize this reality, Richard writes.
Immigration reform, as it has been defined, was destined to lose because, at least for the past five decades, it never held a high status in our imagination and self-understanding.
As Byron Roth has written, the immigration so-called debate in the United States, if it's taken place at all, has been between assimilation and multiculturalism, between those who demand that millions of people of other races and cultures adopt so-called American values and those who encourage them to maintain some sort of boundaries and loyalties.
Basically, he's saying whether or not they fill out a piece of paper or not.
The notion that there is a real American identity which is derived from Europe and which is inseparable from the European peoples has been unspeakable, worse, unthinkable in the minds of most white Americans.
Richard concludes by writing, the fact that immigration reformers have been caught up on the legality, illegal immigrants, or the punitive unconstitutionality of Obama's actions only reveals their inner feelings of illegitimacy.
And I will put in this point of privilege in saying that, I mean, it is important that we be a nation of laws and that we abide by the Constitution.
But truly, rule of law only matters if we are a racially homogenous nation.
Otherwise, it all goes out with everything else because it all goes up in smoke.
Richard writes this in his final passage.
A people with an identity is not particularly concerned with whether or not a migrant filled out all the paperwork correctly or passed some sort of civics exam.
A people with identity does not worry that an influx of foreigners might change the culture.
Culture, in the deepest sense, is carried by people.
Europe will exist so long as a conscious, resolute Europeans walk the earth or explore the stars.
And Europe can flourish even if half the channels on cable are in Espanol.
Obama's action marks the end and the beginning.
It marks the end of immigration reform, a movement that never had a soul.
We await the beginning of a movement of identity.
That is a very prescient, I think, piece that we will feature on thepoliticalasspool.org next week.
So just stay tuned to our website for that.
Keith, a question for you from a member of our listening audience.
He writes, Mr. Edwards, I first want to congratulate you on the birth of your latest child.
Thank you very much for that.
And then he writes this.
My question is very simple.
A cheap solution to Obama's amnesty.
Why doesn't someone withstanding file a writ of mandamus against Obama?
Keith, that question is for you.
It's a legal term.
What is a writ of mandamus?
Explain that first and then explain why that hasn't been done or perhaps why it won't be done.
Okay.
A writ of mandamus is a common law writ.
Well, I'm going to do my best to swallow it, okay?
Okay.
Here's what it is.
Apparently, I'm not coming through loud enough, but a writ of mandamus is a common law writ, and it basically directs a government official to perform his official duties.
This is indeed the proper remedy for not only Barack Obama, but for the head of ICE, the head of immigration and naturalization services,
and any number of other government agencies that will not enforce the laws that are clearly written and on the books that would prevent these illegal immigrants from getting into the country or staying in the country.
Let me tell you, I think it's all much ado about nothing, all this flap about the new status, supposedly, of illegal immigrants.
They have been here for at least 30 or 40 years.
I've encountered these people in my law practice.
Them now being able to get government benefits, for heaven's sakes, a majority of them are accessing welfare and other government benefits right now as we speak.
We have left-wing activists that are seeing to it that these people, along with all sorts of other so-called disadvantaged non-white people, get all of the information they need to be able to maximize their ability to steal assets from the government under false pretenses.
So, you know, this is like closing the barn door after the count after the horse has gotten loose.
This is what's been going on for decades now, not only under Democrats, but under Republicans like George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush.
So what's the big deal?
You know, we have globalists on both sides of the political spectrum here in America, the Republicans and the Democrats, the elites of both parties are confirmed, if unannounced, globalists.
We have a globalist Marxist who is residing in the White House as we speak.
So is it any wonder that, you know, this is just like taking Coles to Newcastle saying that we're going to grant an amnesty.
We've had amnesty in America for the past 40 years.
Since Reagan.
Yeah.
In fact, Ronald Reagan, the supposedly sainted Ronald Reagan that Sean Hannity is all over in spots about, was the author of the first amnesty.
He is the author of amnesty.
Not Obama, but Ronald Reagan.
And we could survive that amnesty because America wasn't nearly on such a dire precipice, racially speaking, as we are now.
So we were able to absorb that, even though that amnesty was actually worse.
Ronald Reagan had a far worse amnesty than what Obama did.
And we weren't talking about near as many people either.
Eddie, we've got a caller on the line.
We want to get to him, but I know you have a quick answer to why a writ of Mandamus wouldn't really affect Obama.
I would just like to respond to the caller, Baba Deere, here.
I'd just like to ask you, what makes you think he would pay attention to a writ of Mandamius when he has shredded the Constitution from the day one is in his office?
He's ignored and trampled every law in the United States.
I would just most respectfully submit, if he even looked at it, he would laugh in your face and my face and all of our faces here.
He would throw it in the garbage like he has all the other laws in the United States.
Yeah, he'd throw it in the garbage like he's done the Constitution.
Very good point.
I don't think we have enough time to work in this caller, but we're going to try.
Let's just bring him on.
Caller, you're on the air.
I believe your name is Pete.
Yeah, I've called before.
I called two weeks ago.
I know that I might get cut off by commercials, but here, I'll just say it really quick.
Do you think that as a matter of fact, as a matter of fact, speak of the devil, there's our music.
We do have Pete, and we're going to get to him right after this.
I apologize, Pete.
I knew we were coming to close, but I didn't know it was that close.
It's live radio.
What are we going to do?
We all have our masters.
We'll be back right after this with Pete on the line.
We'll see what he has to say.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is you got to take the free test available now.
Get a hold of Kurt Crosby to learn about it.
The number's 801-669-2211.

It was merely to survive it.
Together, together.
Imagine a school where faith and integrity are at its center, where heritage and responsibility instill character.
Where educating both hearts and minds brings about academic excellence.
There is a school in American Fork where character and embracing the providence of a living God are fundamental.
Where students' national test scores average near the 90th percentile.
Based on LDS principles and a love of country, now in our 39th year, American Heritage School is accepting fall enrollment for kindergarten through high school.

And now, back to tonight's show.
All right, we're about to transition from Amnesty to Ferguson.
I think we basically know what happened now on Thursday, a continuation of what we already knew existed, that the government is not going to enforce the border laws and that they're going to allow some people to break laws based upon political correctness and anti-white measures, and that's just the way it is.
And Obama confirmed that, but it's nothing new.
But before we transition to Ferguson, let's get back to Pete from Illinois.
Pete, take it away.
Thank you for waiting.
Yeah, actually from Iowa.
Oops.
I'm actually from Iowa, but do you – Well, thank you for calling in from Iowa.
Yeah, it's all good.
I'm sort of ideological eccentric, and I think I have an interesting idea to solve this border crisis that I think could appease both people like Luis Guterres, you know, who's very open borders, and someone like Pat Buchanan.
And that's this.
Can you hear me?
We can.
Okay, good.
All the 12 million that are here, they can stay here indefinitely, but with the caveat that they have to stay in either California, Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas.
You know, so it'd be sort of like apartheid, but it would sort of be an everybody wins scenario.
Keith, do you want to respond to that?
Well, why would that work when no other legal constraint has had any chance of working?
Yeah, what I said, Pete, was why do you think that would work when every other legal constraint that we have, some more, most of them more restricted than that, are ignored?
See, this is the problem with trying to craft some type of compromise with the left on the issue of third world immigration.
You think you've got a deal, but the executive branch of the government never follows through and enforces the deal.
So consequently, all you get is the opening of the border.
You don't get any of the restraints that have been carefully crafted as a compromise.
See, we're dealing with people that are basically dishonest.
Globalists don't care how they advance their agenda so long as their agenda advances.
They will lie, cheat, and steal to do it.
That's been part of their playbook since the genesis of cultural Marxism.
So there's no way that I would not worry my pretty little head about trying to come up with any type of reasonable solution to this problem because the other side doesn't wish to be reasonable.
They just want to win.
Yeah.
Well, look, I mean, go ahead, Pete.
Wrap it up.
Do you, well, I think, well, there would be an incentive, like, you know, if you leave those four states, you get, you know, you could get sent to prison for 10 years.
And the illegals that live outside those states, like New York, Chicago, or South Florida, they would have to move to those states to risk instead of going to jail.
I mean, it would be nice if it could work.
It would be interesting if it could work, but it will not work because the globalists who are in charge of our government have no intention of enforcing any type of border restriction on people from the third world.
Well, and I think, I think, and thank you very much for the call, Pete.
I think if Pete was here at the studio tonight and me and Eddie and Keith and Pete wrote a great plan for solving the world's problems, I think we could probably do it, but getting that plan implemented is, of course, the fantasy.
And that's, I think, what we're dealing with here.
But thank you for the call, Pete.
I mean, you know, listen, we need to be brainstorming.
We need to be certainly putting forth ideas, but getting people with any position of authority to execute them is something, of course, we've not been able to do because the dispossessed majority has no power, and we're not a political player.
I mean, we elect the Republicans every year, but we don't really have any power in terms of politics.
All right, real quick comment from Eddie.
We've got to get to Ferguson before we run out of time.
Hey, Pete, this is Bobadier here.
Hey, I would like to say, yes, we do have power.
Pete, I'm charging you with your duty as a sovereign citizen of the United States.
What you need to do, my man, is you need to take your energy and you need to go, if it's just one to two people, and you need to start organizing something like a neighborhood watch, a neighborhood guard.
Try to swell that into like a posse or try to get you a little oathkeepers movement going, a militia.
It starts with one person, Pete, and that's my advice to you, my man.
All right, well, I'll tell you what, they can use some constitutional militias in Ferguson.
That's for sure.
What's going on there?
They're flinging urine-filled glass bottles that policeman violence continues.
There was actually a rally recently in Ferguson.
The name of the rally, it wasn't Buck the Police, but it rhymes with Buck and begins with an F.
And so you can imagine what that was.
And that was held there recently.
For what?
I mean, why are the police under such indignation there by the denizens of the black undertow for doing their jobs?
I mean, do they even believe what they're so upset about is true?
I mean, do the facts even matter?
I mean, obviously, the answer to that is a resounding no.
But I want to ask Keith another legal question.
We had a question earlier about what the writ of Mandingo.
Mand Davis.
All right.
Let me ask you this, Keith.
In your experience, has the deliberation of the grand jury there in Ferguson, is this about on track with what you would expect?
I mean, what's it been, 10 months?
It's been at least honestly two or three months, I mean, since the summer that this occurred.
Are they dragging it out to wait for it to get cold enough to where hopefully they believe the cold will keep the blacks inside?
Or is this about right in terms of a timeframe for deliberation on a case such as this?
That type of thing varies from locale to locale.
In the St. Louis area, I would have to consult some lawyer, and we know some lawyers up there that could tell us what the normal turnaround is for a grand jury indictment.
But I would imagine it's a little bit long.
It would be long for Memphis, for example.
And it's just typical avoidance.
You know, people like to avoid unpleasantness, and unpleasantness has been promised, and the occasion will be when the grand jury hands down its decision.
It doesn't matter what the decision is.
It's going to be the occasion, as Rush Limbaugh has so aptly pointed out, for Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and like-minded individuals to recreate the civil rights movement.
It's really strange that you mentioned that they're throwing glasses of urine on police officers.
This is exactly what happened in the original civil rights movement.
They were taught these tactics at the Highlander Folk School, which is like the Paris Island for the leaders of the civil rights movement.
It's in Mon Eagle, Tennessee, near the Alabama border.
It was kind of a staging point, and they taught them all, for example, to wear those little white shirts with skinny ties, monochromatic ties, single-colored trousers, and put glasses on all these black protesters to make them look like they were Steve Urkel from, you know, the television show back in the 80s.
And they did this because they were manipulating public opinion.
They would rile the police to such a point that the police would overreact.
And the complicit Jewish-run media, ABC, CBS, NBC, back in the day, there was no internet, there was no effective alternative news source, basically decided that they would wait until the misbehavior ramped up to the point that it provoked a response.
And then and only then when the response was provoked, would the camera start to roll so they could show the rest of the world what beasts Southern policemen were.
Well, they've pulled out all of the old playbook from the civil rights movement and they're going to try to recreate the civil rights movement here in Ferguson.
Why?
Because it was the one unqualified success of the left.
You can't get a mainstream conservative, a Glenn Beck, a Sean Hannity, or anybody like that, to say a discouraging word about Martin Luther King or the original civil rights movement when, quite frankly, it's all part of the same clause, the same left-wing radical egalitarianism.
We'll talk more about this after these words from our sponsors.

All right, talking about Ferguson now.
Amnesty and Ferguson are two big topics tonight.
So, Keith, they're in Ferguson, the governor, this week, in anticipation that the grand jury there may soon release its findings.
And if justice at all, if justice is not a complete mockery in this country, this man will not be indicted.
Darren Wilson.
But in anticipation of black malfeasance, in anticipation of the stereotypical black behavior, a state of emergency has been declared by the governor of Missouri, a state of emergency.
Now, when I think of state of emergency, what I think of is this.
I think of a hurricane.
I think of a tornado.
I think of when the political cesspool tries to hold a meeting.
Time out.
Time out.
Let me qualify that.
Let me qualify that statement because that's a true statement.
In 2008, let me give you November of 2008, the Political Cesspool, working in cooperation with another organization, was holding a public conference.
Over 500 people had registered, which would make it the biggest movement conference we've had in years, bigger than the American Renaissance and some of the others.
500 people have registered.
The mayor of the local county declared a state of emergency because we were planning to meet.
A law-abiding organization of great people coming together to have a meeting.
A state of emergency was declared, not so much because it was us, but because the practitioners of diversity and tolerance had declared that they were going to burn down the hotel and murder the general manager if he didn't cancel our contract.
So this was why the state of emergency was declared in all seriousness, not because we were getting together, but because the liberals here in the local area promised that they would burn down a building and kill people if they didn't cancel our contract.
You remember, let me tell you that James was in the back of my car when all of this is happening, screwed up into the umbilical position, whining and sucking his thumb.
But we finally got this thing bailed out.
And you know what bailed us out?
Irony of all ironies?
Diversity.
We found finally a Pakistani hotel owner who, when we showed him greenbacks, his eyes lit up.
He grabbed it.
And when the local news media came over and tried to shame him out of hosting the conference, he pled ignorance, said that he didn't speak English.
They had him on video on the local news back in the room counting his money, counting his $100 bills.
Anyway, hey, listen, hey, we got a lot of stories.
That was actually universal language with him.
That was actually a story that didn't make my 10-year reflection CD that I sent out to the contributors of the third quarter fundraiser.
Anyway, we're digressing and we're getting off the beaten path, but we've got a lot of stories that we've accumulated over 10 years.
That was certainly one of them, and we were able to meet.
But no, I mean, it was because liberals threatened to burn down the hotel and kill people that worked there if they didn't cancel it.
The practitioners of tolerance and diversity and freedom of thought and expression threatened this violence.
And so because of that, the county declared a state of emergency.
There were actually helicopters, news helicopters, trying to find out where we were meeting.
Well, all that is why we had a private 10-year anniversary celebration.
We wanted to spare you from all of that fun when we met in Memphis to a jam-packed ballroom last month.
But we've had a lot of fun.
Anyway, state of emergency.
I didn't mean to chase that rabbit, but when I uttered the words, when the word state of emergency fell upon my lips, I couldn't help but had a Pavlovian response.
I had to mention that because that's a true story.
So a state of emergency, though, Keith, has been declared in Missouri, all of Missouri, basically, in anticipation of a natural disaster.
This is an insurrection.
This should be put down.
This should not be tolerated.
Henry Lowe, the old mayor of Memphis during the sanitation workers strike, knew how to deal with these type of things.
He had the police mobilized, and with the first breakage of any window or something, they swung into action.
Of course, having that type of decisive response is the last thing that the left wants.
They want to let loose the dogs of war, as Cassius said in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
And they want these people to do so with impunity.
There's nothing, again, there's nothing to fear except fear itself.
The police have plenty of power to take care of people that want to riot and create murder and mayhem among us.
And this is exactly that they're planning to have a Watts-style riot.
Well, I mean, they're rioting.
They don't really care what the grand jury says.
If the grand jury comes back and says this is a true bill and we need to indict and prosecute.
They'll write in celebration.
They'll riot in celebration.
Yeah, they'll write in celebration.
And if they do the honest and honorable thing and say that this man was acting in self-defense, obviously, and therefore there is no grounds to prosecute him, then they will raise unshirted hell about that as well.
But look at the malfeasance, Keith.
And I got to toss it to Eddie because I know he wants to comment on this.
But the blacks, the black undertow, the worst that the black community has to offer, has put so much pressure on whomever has been selected to participate in this grand jury.
They know that if they issue justice and that they issue a just decision here, that their town is going to burn.
And this is aided and abetted by Eric Holder, Barack Obama, the mainstream media, especially MSNBC.
This behavior is absolutely justified.
Well, you were enslaved hundreds of years ago.
Of course you should burn down the town if you don't get your way like a petulant child.
Of course you should act out like that.
Don't let facts get in your way.
And remember what happened with George Zimmerman.
You had a prosecutor that was duly elected by the people of the county where the so-called Zimmerman incident happened.
He wanted to do things properly and buy the book, and he promised to do that.
Well, that's the last thing the left wanted to hear.
So consequently, they managed to get him ousted from prosecuting the case and put in a shill, some left-wing woman attorney prosecutor that would do their bidding, and she did.
And the upshot of it was a colossal waste of time.
They had a lengthy trial where Zimmerman was put in jeopardy of losing his life and liberty.
And of course, the jury, thank goodness, did what was right and found that he was not guilty.
And they didn't postpone the demonstrations or the mayhem.
They all happened as predictably as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, James.
Hey, this is Pappy back again, y'all, with the solution.
The sweetest guy in the room, the guy who never gets worked up.
I have to keep these guys in control.
But hey, Pappy has got the solution here, folks.
If you'll go to your Constitution and go to Article 1, Section 8, here's what needs to be done.
And I have lived through this happening, a close facsimile of it.
The Congress, some of the few things that the Congress are able to do, I just told you under Article 1, Section 8, to provide for calling forth the militia.
I know this is a dirty name.
The militia to execute the laws of the Union to suppress insurrections, which we're living through up here in Missouri and to repel invasions.
People, you probably don't know this because, and I'm not saying this arrogantly, but most of us are ignorant of our Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land.
The Congress is duty bound to provide for organizing, army, and disciplining the militia and governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States.
And listen, we have the right of the appointment of the officers of the militia by the states.
Now, I said I lived through this.
I lived through 1957 when Uncle Joe's nephew, General Eisenhower, who worshipped, he absolutely idolized General Joe Stalin.
Excuse me, Uncle Joe Stalin.
One of his big idols was General Zukkov in the Communist Army, the Soviet Union Army.
He sent the troops into Little Rock, Arkansas, and forced integration in one of the greatest high schools this nation has ever seen, Little Rock Central, at the point of the bayonet.
Later on, the same thing was done at the point of the bayonet in Oxford, Mississippi.
I lived through that.
I also lived through watching governor, former governor of Alabama, George Wallace, barricade the door of the University of Alabama, and they sent federal troops in there with bayonets.
I also lived through, when I was in the Army, people would be being mowed down for demonstrations at Kent State University.
They were killed by National Guard troops.
The same treatment needs to be meted out to these thugs, these hoodlums in Ferguson.
But you know, my spirit son said it was aided and abetted by Obama and Eric Holder.
He was close.
It was not aided and abetted.
It was constructed by them.
That's right.
Constructed and initiated?
What you're seeing, people, here is a false flag.
It's to distract, for formula purposes, to distract your attention away from bigger fish.
And also to divide the country on racial lines.
Divide and conquer.
But what I just told you, the solution is what you need to focus on.
Good motion, folks.
When we come back, we're going to toss it back to Keith.
I've got a final word on Ferguson, and then Keith went to the Cotton Museum of Memphis on Friday, and we're going to find out what he was doing there and why.
It's a story you don't want to miss.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Come back to the political sesh pool right after these messages here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
Liberty is not free.
Its costs are innumerable.
Without monetary funding, the valiant efforts of freedom-loving Americans become diminished or outright defeated.
We present a solution, the Give Me Liberty Fund.
The plan is quite simple: invite individual Americans to contribute less than a dollar a day.

Well, Keith went down to the Cotton Museum this week, and that's in downtown Memphis.
I've been there.
I've taken my family there.
Pretty nice.
It teaches you about, you know, why Memphis was a major cotton port and the importance of cotton agriculture here in the Mid-South.
They were doing a little something different there last night, which is when Keith was there.
But before we ask him why he went, quickly a wrap-up on Ferguson.
So a state of emergency has been declared.
The National Guard has been activated, all in anticipation of typical black behavior, which will descend upon Ferguson like a plague after the grand jury renders its decision.
The oath keepers have written a blueprint for solution that people should check out.
But, you know, everybody is suffering from this.
The people of Ferguson are suffering from this, and they shouldn't be forgotten.
We have a friend, a listener of this program who has family that lives in Ferguson, and he contacted me this week.
Listen to this.
A relative of one of our biggest fans and lives in Ferguson.
A relative of this person went into assisted living, and her home, which was appraised a few months ago at $150,000, it's a brick home, three-bedroom, fully furnished with a basement, appraised at $150,000 a few months ago.
Now, out of five offers, the top offer on this $150,000 home is $30,000.
So, Keith, what took blacks two or three decades to accomplish in Detroit, they've done in two or three months, so we've got to give it to them on efficiency.
Yep.
As I used to say, there goes the neighborhood, right?
I mean, that's a depreciation of over $100,000 in three months.
Well, nobody wants to buy trouble, and buying something in Ferguson is seen as buying trouble.
Ferguson, Missouri has become the epicenter of racial discontent in America.
And that has been engineered from on high by none other than the President of the United States and the Attorney General of the United States.
They decided to make Ferguson a test case, and they have all of the usual suspects cowering in fear, willing to show no integrity at all, to have no sense of principle, that they would sacrifice their own grandchildren in order to buy peace.
And we're seeing this played out time and again in contemporary American society.
We have a group of spineless individuals representing us, people that have no stomach for any type of confrontation, and that they live in abject terror, not of having their throats cut in the middle of the night, but of being called a racist.
Anything else is fine, and they'll sacrifice you, me, and their own kith and kin in order to avoid that horrible fate.
Well, Keith, I agree, and I should quickly point out that in the third hour, Eddie will be back on point, and we're going to be talking, continuing our conversation last week on the problems of American churches and pastors, and we'll get Keith's opinion on that as well.
But we'll let Eddie take the lead on that when we get into the third hour.
But first, Keith, with all that we've seen in Ferguson, you know, I think the Zimmerman verdict, in one of our greatest shows, was the week after the Zimmerman verdict came through.
It was just one for the ages.
We had All-Star After All-Star on that show.
I believe it was Sam Dixon, Richard Spencer, Jared Taylor, of course, all of us and some others.
And it was a great program in which we, Kevin McDonald was on that show.
It was just an all-star night.
We looked at the Zimmerman verdict from every possible angle, from the racial angle to the media angle, to the legal angle, and then some.
But I think that what happens in Ferguson, whatever happens in Ferguson, will make Zimmerman, as big a case as that was, it will make that look like a preseason game.
This is going to be the Super Bowl by every standard of measurement.
The amount of violence and illegal behavior from the black community in Ferguson, if justice is served in this case, is just going to make Zimmerman look like a walk in the park.
And while all this is happening, and I say all that to say this, Keith, to lead to this point, while all this is happening, and while anybody with two wits in their head will draw the same conclusions as we do when we watch this, guilty white liberals are still wringing their hands, still thinking what more they can do to make these blacks in Ferguson feel welcome and to, you know, what they can do to make them feel appreciated and let them know that they love them.
What was going on at the Cotton Museum this week, Keith?
Well, again, the Cotton Museum is a mid-sized venue.
It holds probably about 50 to 100 people.
The local law school was sponsoring some English wonk, you know, academic wonk from the University of Sussex who teaches a course at the University of Sussex on American race relations.
And he is about to publish a book called White Fright, a chronicle of slave uprisings, black slave uprisings in America.
And he was giving a speech, a kind of preview of his book, which is scheduled to be released and published next year, 2015 and at the latest 2016.
But his theory is that the negative public perception of black males as being violent, as being lazy, as being criminally inclined and whatnot,
has its genesis in the reaction of antebellum white Southerners primarily to rebellions by slaves like the Stono Rebellion or the Nat Turner Rebellion or the Denmark VZ conspiracy plot, things like this.
And quite frankly, his presentation, though, you know, he emoted a great deal and was very grandiose in his claims, was thoroughly unconvincing.
I can't imagine that these particular episodes in American history, which he says, you know, and probably rightfully so,
he said that there was some hysteria involved in these because people harkened back to the Haitian Revolution under Suzanne Lobature, in which thousands of whites and even mulattoes were slaughtered mercilessly by an uprising of black slaves, black former slaves, inspired by the principles of the French Revolution.
And this, you know, did inspire some trepidation, but basically what brought about these negative perceptions of blacks was everyday experience with much lesser crimes, I'm certain.
And, you know, he was, you know, so dramatic in his presentation that they described these people as brigands.
Like he was described, you would think that brigands was a four-letter word, you know, on a par with the N-word, or they were bandits or banditi or something like this.
You know, sorry, I don't think that really gets people's blood boiling, James.
Well, you mentioned Haiti a second ago.
Anybody that would go to this, other than for purposes of giving us something to talk about on the show in your case, Keith, I mean, how utterly depraved and pathetic.
Haiti is still suffering from that little stunt.
I guarantee you, every black there, if they're honest at all, would beg for French rule again compared to what they got now under their own authority.
Just like South African blacks and blacks in the former Odesian College of Zimbabwe that have since yearn for a return to white rule.
I want to let Eddie have the final word on this, but let me ask you, I'll give you my mic.
I want to ask you this, though.
So you suffered through that.
You actually went there, physically drove downtown, went into the building, sat through this presentation.
Presentation, you know, that's putting it politely.
How could you endure?
And did you say anything?
Did you have to go in disguise to not be recognized?
I didn't say anything, and I kept myself diverted at the hors d'oeuvre table.
That's about the only way I could make my, whenever, you know, it got too bad, I would grab another drink, or I would grab a handful of grapes or something like this to try to divert myself.
I almost choked on the grapes several times, though, at some of his wilder assertions.
But, you know, the left is constantly trying to put a veneer.
There is, you know, the people in the left that try to promote this hogwash are just totally off the mark.
They're not convincing anyone except true believers of leftist radical egalitarianism.
Even the majority was 90%, the audience was 90% black.
And even the black people weren't buying this stuff.
It was just malarkey, James.
Well, I'd like to respond to that.
Well, the work of the guy from University of Sussex, Keith, I mean, that's what Nixon, those types of pseudo-intellectuals that Nixon called eggheads.
The man, you know what, let me tell you the reality.
People, the average person in even your elite schools can't even tell you what happened 15, 20 years ago.
I've asked people in elite schools here in Memphis, Tennessee.
I guarantee you, not one in 10 can tell you who General Douglas MacArthur was.
They can't tell you who Chairman Mauti Tongue was.
They don't know anything about the Long March.
They can't tell you what happened 30 years ago in history.
How in the name of sanity does this egghead think they're going to know what happened 165 years ago?
They're afraid of the blacks.
They have a negative picture of these blacks because of something happened 165 years ago when they don't even know their own family history.
They can't tell you what happened 20 years ago.
I swear, my grandson went to, not the elite of elite, but he went to a very good private school here in Memphis, Tennessee.
I've asked people, University of Memphis.
I've asked people to go to Ivy League schools working in restaurants here in Memphis in the summer.
Not one of them, not one has ever been able to tell me who Moussey Tongue was.
Very few knows who General Douglas MacArthur was.
They don't even know Eisenhower.
They know little or nothing.
Well, that's the kind of education we're getting today, and it's all by design, of course.
The music is playing.
Matt the Copperhead is on the line.
We're going to go to him first in the next hour.
And Eddie, we're going to talk about your experience at church this week.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Don't go away.
There's more to come right here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
