Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
My woods and temple fills.
My heart will run and fill.
Welcome everybody to the political cesspool and a happy belated 4th of July.
Happy belated Independence Day from yours truly, Keith Alexander, who's in the studio with me.
Eddie the Bombardier Miller, who's recovering from a surgery that he had week before last to repair a hernia.
He'll be back in the studio next week and has partnered with Michael Perutka, a former presidential candidate of the Constitution Party, to present a course on the Constitution at his local church.
He's going to be teaching a Sunday school class on the matter, and we'll have more details for a Memphis area audience for those who might want to join Eddie in that class.
He's also going to be giving presentations, abbreviated presentations on the show beginning next week.
So we'll look forward to that.
But myself, Keith, Eddie, Winston Smith, Peter Scoop Stanton, Art Frith, and of course our great team at the network in Utah.
Happy Belated Independence Day.
Beautiful song.
You know, I found that song and I really wanted to put it up on the website this week.
And I did, of course, on the 4th.
And, you know, as we celebrated Independence Day, and I wrote this on the site, I'm sure that many of you allowed your mind to slip back to a time when this nation actually attempted to realize her promise.
That hasn't happened for a long time, but you think about the American experiment from the 1600s when our people first began to arrive on this continent and then, or for permanent settlement, at least, and then all the way through 1860.
You know, the American dream was something very real and very alive.
America hasn't been the same since 1860, 1861, of course, the war.
And now it doesn't even resemble anything at all like those men, Jefferson, Washington, etc., had once envisioned.
Wouldn't it be awesome to get in a time machine and just go back to the night where Thomas Jefferson was writing the Declaration of Independence?
I mean, there is something to celebrate there.
This isn't the same America, but this is still our country.
This is our land.
It's a nation of blood and soil like any other, and it's ours.
It's been perverted.
It's been corrupted.
But there's still something, if you go back long enough to find that you can be very proud of, and you should be.
And I hope that that song stirred your spirit.
It certainly did mine.
And just here at the top of the show tonight, Keith Alexander just now walking into the studio.
We want to allow him an opportunity to say hello to everybody before we dig down into business this evening.
I want to take a quick moment to thank you, our loyal listening audience, for making sure that our second quarter fundraising drive, which ended on June 30th, ended successfully.
It was touch and go.
It truly was as we headed into the last week.
And I was pretty much resigned to the fact that we're going to fall short.
But we were able to rally over the course of the last three days, as we seemingly always have, thanks to you, during our nine-year run.
And we were able to shore up our finances to keep TPC on solid ground for the next couple of months as we continue to move forward.
You helped us meet our quarterly budget.
And in doing so, you've struck a blow against those who would love to have our voice silenced.
And in doing so, ensured that the only explicitly pro-white mainstream media entity and network can continue to fight on your behalf.
What we raised, you know, certainly won't make any of our lavishly funded opponents jealous.
In fact, it's only a drop in the bucket, but we've always proven that we can accomplish more in a shoestring than most could ever dare to imagine.
And we'll continue to do so so long as you stay by our side.
And we'll always safeguard your investment in our work.
We love you.
You are a family.
You are our family.
And family ought to stick together.
And for nine years, as I said, you've always been there for us.
And we look forward to working with you, God willing, for many years to come.
I mean, that's the plan.
And I'm sure, to be sure, we'll have to talk about fundraising again in the fall.
But for now, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
And on behalf of Keith and everyone else, again, folks, we thank you for being there for us.
We'll continue to be here for you.
That's our dream.
That's our goal.
That's our mission.
No retreat, no surrender, no apology.
Keith Alexander in the studio now.
Those announcements having been made.
Welcome, my brother, and hope you had a great Fourth of July weekend.
Tell you what, I probably had the best Fourth of July holiday that I've ever had.
I reconnected with an old friend I hadn't seen probably, I may have seen him once over the last, gosh, 30 years.
And he and his lady friend came up to Memphis, and we had the best time.
We had, we were, we rode the bicycle trails, we saw all the sights, we went to the farmer's market, we did one thing after another, and they think just like us.
They, you know, are like a lot of people.
They did not really know that much about the show before, but they knew some.
And as a result of this weekend that we spent, I mean, they are totally on board and they contributed to our fundraiser.
And it's just, you know, it's always heartening to me that there are so many people out there who think like us.
And the young lady that came told me that she had looked me up on the internet, more or less scared that, you know, I was some type of extremist or something.
She came and got to know me and she said, you know what?
You're my new best friend.
She said, this is so liberating to talk with somebody like you.
And I felt exactly the same way about them.
You know, we are not the outnumbered, beleaguered group that we imagine we are.
If we only knew the strength that we had, if we could get our message out, even, you know, one-tenth to one-tenth of the audience that the left-wing media gets because they control all the, you know, the news media, the entertainment media, all, you know, higher academia.
If we could get the word out, I mean, we would swamp the other side.
Nobody wants to be liberal.
I think it was Rush Limbaugh or somebody that said that this, you know, I think it was earlier in the year that only like less than 20% of Americans identify themselves as liberals.
Over 40% identify themselves as conservatives.
And I think most of those people and a good number of others, if they heard real true paleoconservatism, the type that we offer, they would be firmly in our camp, James.
Oh, well, Keith, I have no doubt about it.
I mean, we have said time and time again that the vast majority of real Americans, the Americans that count, red state, God-fearing, tax-paying, hard-working Americans fundamentally believe with us.
I mean, that's never been in question, at least not in my mind.
Now, we do have a little work to do to work around the hysterical branding that we receive from our godless detractors, but we get the emails every week and we see the fruits of our labors every week.
No, we have an audience out there and it's bigger than anyone could imagine.
be back, folks.

All right, everybody.
Welcome back.
We're about to play a clip here that's just jaw-dropping.
Well, I guess it would be if you were a normal person, a mere mortal and not a listener of the political cesspool.
Being a listener of this program puts you at the head of the class.
But I do want to thank you again at the risk of repeating myself for contributing to the fundraising drive last month.
Those of you who did, that helped us get to the mark.
You know, we lean hard on you four months out of the year to help bring enough in to keep this show on the air.
God knows we can't get commercial sponsors.
And we lean hard on you because we have to have it.
If we didn't have to have it, we wouldn't ask.
But I don't want to lean hard on you for a whole month and then just say at the very top of a show, well, thank you.
We made it.
No, it means more to us than that.
We couldn't do what we do without you.
And we made it because of you and only you.
And, well, we love you for it.
Well, we're still in a celebratory mode, I guess.
It is still a holiday weekend.
Why do we celebrate Independence Day?
Now, I mentioned at the top of the show, America stopped realizing her destiny a very long time ago.
But don't expect most Americans, apparently, to have any clue about the former significance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Now, we got another Man on the Street video.
This was prepared by a gentleman named Mark Dice.
We played one of his Man on the Street interviews a couple of weeks ago in which he took a poll of people willing to throw out the First Amendment as it applied to conservatives.
And everybody, you know, willingly signed that petition.
Well, this shocking video shows that people don't even know when the Declaration of Independence was signed, what year, what day, and from whom we declared our independence.
And please keep in mind as you listen to this that these folks are allowed to vote.
Let's listen to it.
When the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in 1976, what country did we break away from?
Wait, what?
Hold on.
This is just her.
Oh, gosh.
What country did we break away from back in 1976 when the Declaration of Independence was signed?
That's a really good question.
You know, we have a big party.
Everybody celebrates and gets drunk and barbarous.
I love that.
But you don't know why we celebrate that.
No, it's China.
China.
We declaration of independence.
We broke away from.
China.
I mean that.
China.
When we declared independence from China back in 1776 and Jesse Ventura signed the Declaration of Independence.
What year was that?
Oh, God.
Wait, Jesse Ventura signed the Declaration?
Yeah, hold on, just see him.
Just him.
We'll get to your internet.
I have no idea.
What year was that?
The Declaration of Independence signed when we had the Revolutionary War against China.
It's been so long.
It's been so long.
All right, I haven't had to remember that forever.
Who cares about American history and our founding, right?
Talking about the Chinese Revolutionary War.
Okay.
When we signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and broke away from China, what year was the Declaration of Independence signed?
Oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh, it was 18-something.
18-something.
You don't know.
Have a nice life.
When the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, what year did they sign the Declaration of Independence and break away from England to start America?
78.
I don't know.
1978?
Yeah.
1978.
When Jesse Ventura and Jack Lemon and the other founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, what year was that?
I don't know.
Have a nice life.
1812.
The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1812.
1762.
1762.
Okay, zombies.
Hey, what is it?
What year was the Declaration of Independence signed by Jesse Ventura and Jack Lemon?
1842.
1842.
What date specifically, the day?
November 2nd.
Wait, what?
November 2nd.
What year was the Declaration of Independence signed?
What?
1774?
1974.
There you go, 1974.
1974.
You got any big plans for the 4th of July this year when we celebrate our independence from Mexico?
Are you going to be doing anything to sort of reflect on that independence, the breakaway from them?
Yeah, American style.
Party.
Getting drunk and smoking some weed.
Yeah, man.
Sacrament, one love.
When the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence July 4th, 1776, we declared independence from England.
What date did they sign the Declaration of Independence?
The date?
I don't know.
What was that?
2011, 19 something, like 1914, 1876.
I don't know.
I bet you don't.
No, do you?
Are you intoxicated?
No, yeah.
Well, everybody.
We need a 5150 on it.
I mean, really?
Yeah, go ahead if you guys want to.
We need a 5150 on the 51 pot here.
Hey, well, have a nice day.
We're talking about the Declaration of Independence when we sort of declared independence from Mexico.
You're Mexican.
Are you going to be celebrating the independence, Dave, 4th of July, despite those differences?
Well, usually we celebrate anything that has to do with anything to drink, pretty much.
Okay.
So even though like your people and my people battled each other in the Revolutionary War, we could come together and celebrate the 4th of July together.
Yeah, it's like people do that in Cinco de Mayo too.
The white folks are an excuse for us to get drunk too.
Yeah, very much.
Hey, Mexicans.
Yay, Cinco de Mayo.
get wasted.
And usually it's them that are wearing the sombreros and stuff like that.
Okay.
Thanks, bro.
No problem.
You're Mexican.
Do you celebrate the 4th of July even though we declared our independence from Mexico in 1776?
I was born in the United States, so I'm Mexican parents, but I'm an American.
But I do celebrate the 4th of July.
So you don't see any conflict of interest because you're Mexican and we declared independence from Mexico?
No, not at all.
You like both sides, even though we declared independence from Mexico?
I think that was wonderful that we declared independence.
That was wonderful.
We declared independence from Mexico.
and just become we can be neighbors now though we We can be friendly neighbors even though the Declaration of Independence declared independence from our Mexican neighbors.
We can still be friends neighborly.
What country did America declare independence from?
Independence.
What country?
Independent from Freakland.
From England, correct.
Here we have a German citizen, a tourist who knows more about the 4th of July than many Americans.
Okay, folks, we played that clip in its entirety because the end of it was the best.
So Mark Dias went out and interviewed all of these people, one after another after another.
None of them knew what year America declared its independence and from which country it fought its Revolutionary War, or with which country it fought its Revolutionary War.
He finally found a German tourist in California who got the answer correct.
These people vote.
Okay, how scary is that?
These people vote.
This is first grade civics.
This is first grade social studies questions, folks, okay?
Is there anyone who's listening to the show tonight that disagrees with me when I say that being required to pass a basic literacy test in order to gain voter eligibility is a wonderful idea?
I mean, you should at least be able – these people don't know anything.
You think they know what the candidates stand for?
I mean, I know the candidates are lying, but do they even know what they claim to stand for?
They don't even know the significance of the 4th of July.
Keith, I know we're coming up on a break, and I know you're going to have a lot to say about this, but I want to make one.
I watched this in disbelief.
I said, you know, this has got to be a gag.
This has got to be a gag.
This cannot be true.
So I went to my in-laws on the 4th of July for their get-together on that side of the family, and I asked, just to see, I asked four of my wife's relatives the same questions.
None of them got it right.
You would think, being married, unrelated to me through marriage, that they would be a little bit, none of them got it right.
So.
So folks, this is real.
I'm telling you, it's real.
We'll be back and Keith Alexander is going to sink his fangs into this.
Stay tuned.

All right, everybody.
Welcome back.
So we were talking in that last segment about the just sheer ignorance of the American public.
And we had all of these Californians that couldn't answer what the 4th of July was about, when we broke away from England, or from whom we broke away.
They didn't know when the Declaration of Independence was signed, what year, what day.
I mean, the 4th of July, hello.
I saw hundreds of people on Twitter, and this was another story that came out.
Happy birthday, America, 2013 years young.
They thought that the calendar that we go by was marked by the day America was founded rather than the birth of Christ.
You know, hundreds, thousands of people thought that America was 2,013 years old on the 4th of July.
So this is what we're dealing with.
These people vote.
Keith, just go where you want to go with it.
You know, if you were not watching that tape, the video, which we have at our blog site, you would not have known that the first woman and the first man speaking were husband and wife.
I remember listening in, and Sam Bushman said to James, how would you like to have a wife that dumb?
Well, it'd probably be perfectly all right with you if you were as dumb as her husband was because they were both equally stupid.
You talk about a marriage made in heaven, that was it.
And you said something about a literacy test.
I have no doubt that all of those people that were being interviewed knew how to read, particularly the Anglo ones.
And even the non-Anglo ones, obviously, you know, they do not look like ignoramuses.
I think this speaks more to the lack of proper history training in American public education today, rather, yeah, indoctrination successful, as Sam said, rather than a lack of native intelligence or literacy.
You could have a literacy test out the wazoo.
And all of these people would have passed a literacy test, but they know so little about American history and the founding principles of America that there is no way people like this should be allowed to vote, James, in my humble opinion.
Well, that's what I'm saying.
And when I say literacy tests, I don't just mean the ability to read and write.
I mean, I'm talking about being able to answer very basic, non-discriminatory.
I'm talking about you need to have at least a first grader's knowledge of social studies.
I don't think that's asking too much.
You know, just for starters.
I don't think that's asking too much.
But, I mean, Americans are ill-equipped to come back from the levels from which we've plunged.
I mean, do you think people like this are going to lead a charge for a constitutional or America-first renaissance?
I mean, they don't care.
They couldn't care less.
They're certainly not going to lead a charge to return America to its founding principles because they have no idea what those founding principles are.
And as Sam Bushman suggested, this is not an accident.
This was planned.
This is what the elites, the global elites, want.
They do not want an American citizenry that is informed about the American nation state, the United States of America.
They don't want people that feel allegiance to that.
If you don't know anything about it, if you think that the Declaration of Independence was crafted in 1976 or in the year, what's the other guy said, 5150?
You know, is he on crack?
What's going on?
You know, if you are that uninformed about America, the nation, of course, you'll embrace globalism because you have no idea that there's an alternative to globalism.
That's what the elites want.
They want an American citizenry.
See, when they put in all of these third worlders, like we saw last week with people, Muslim immigrants to England, they're the nearest group of third worlders to England, so that's who they flood them with.
Hispanics are the largest group of third worlders to the United States of America.
That's why they flood us with them.
When you flood a nation with third world foreigners who have no allegiance to your particular nation, the Muslim immigrants have no allegiance to England.
The Hispanic immigrants have no allegiance to the United States of America.
And they're told if they feel that they should, then they're just succumbing to cultural imperialism.
Well, of course, those people won't vote to maintain the American nation state of the United States of America or the nation of England, for example.
They will be ripe to vote against that and to vote for global government.
And that's exactly what the liberals want.
The endgame of liberalism, two things.
The destruction, the elimination of the middle class, and two global one-world government, as the John Byrd Society warned us about back in the 50s.
We have a bread and circus culture, no different than the one that Rome had right before the fall.
And as I've said so many times, if we're going to behave like the new Rome, we'll pay the price that Rome paid.
And perhaps already we're past the point of no return with regards to our destruction and decline.
Remains to be seen.
But it's all by design, of course.
If you don't have a basic understanding and appreciation for the history of your country, you cannot love your country.
And if you don't love your country, which of course the media powers that be don't want you to do as they push us towards an ever-evolving global state that they want, then you're not going to want to defend it.
I mean, you know, if you don't have any idea of what America is about, then why should you appreciate it as a sovereign nation?
And I think that's something that people need to think about.
You don't even know the year that we signed the Declaration of Independence.
You know, if you don't even know that, the 4th of July, 1776, if you don't even know that, you're going to be able to answer the question, who wrote the Declaration of Independence?
Why is that important?
You think they can answer any question about Thomas Jefferson?
Well, they could probably answer the fact that according to the media in the last 10 years, he had sex with one of his slaves, which is, as far as I'm concerned, completely bogus and fabricated.
They might be able to answer that.
But you think, you know, tell us about Patrick Henry.
What were the contributions of Paul Revere?
You think they could answer any of that stuff?
And that's just going back, I mean, the very basic founding questions.
You know, we have an excellent, excellent piece that we posted yesterday.
Then I'll toss it back to you, Keith.
150 years ago today, who's going to know this?
150 years ago, this week at least, our Confederate forebears were retreating for the Battle of Gettysburg.
It was a tragedy for our country and our people, not just the South, but the North as well.
Gettysburg, of course, was seen as the last great opportunity in which a decisive victory by Robert E. Lee could have meant the end of the war in the Confederacy's favor.
And we've got this video footage that was taken in the early part of the 1900s of old grizzled Confederate veterans given the rebel yell.
And, you know, these men were better Americans than you and I will ever know.
And long may their memory live in the hearts and minds of all decent people.
But, you know, you're talking about people, I bet you these people couldn't answer who the first president was.
You think they're going to have any respect for the Confederacy?
I mean, obviously that's a rhetorical question.
The answer goes without saying.
But I mean, this is much more dangerous.
I mean, we listen to that and we laugh at it, we mock it, and it deserves our derision.
But this sort of ignorance and stupidity is more dangerous than you would notice at first pass.
Let me clarify something.
Obviously, the people that are on this video knew when the Declaration of Independence was signed, knew who we gained our independence from, knew the answers to all of the questions that were posed by John Dice in that first segment video that we featured that's on the blog site, that's on the website here of the political cesspool.
We need to understand that, for example, in California and in Texas and in Florida, they are teaching Hispanic immigrants all about Cinco de Mayo and all about Mexican history.
They're just not teaching them or the Anglo children, the children of America's founding stock, anything about traditional American history.
They are doing their best to make them stupid on that topic.
And they want them stupid because they know that you can't defend something or won't defend something you don't know anything about.
So this is the sad legacy of American public education since the Brown versus Topeka Board of Education decision.
American public education could not be worse.
When somebody asks you to celebrate diversity, ask them in return, what is there to celebrate?
If they ask you to celebrate the Brown versus Topeka Board of Education decision, say, what is there to celebrate?
Do you want to celebrate the decline and destruction of American public education?
Do you want to celebrate the decline and destruction of America's great urban centers?
That's what you are celebrating when you celebrate the Brown decision, when you celebrate the civil rights movement, when you celebrate diversity, when you celebrate liberalism.
Liberalism, as we say time and again on this show, is the modern face of evil.
How could the results that we have just chronicled for you be considered anything but evil?
James, your thoughts?
Well, we've pretty much said it all.
The public school system is to blame for this.
Of course, again, it's all by design.
I guarantee you in 1954, every first grader could have answered those questions.
And it's not even a racial thing.

We're going to continue on with the political cesspool right after this.

Welcome back, everybody.
Still enjoying and relaxing from a 4th of July weekend.
Of course, it was July 4th, 1984, when we broke away from Mexico, as we just learned in the first segment.
You know, it was interesting.
I like the fact that it was a German tourist was the first one to crack the code and get that right.
A German tourist.
Anyway, some special stuff coming up in the second hour.
My pastor, my beloved pastor, the only pastor I've ever had, David Rogers, is going to be in with us.
I was at church last Sunday after the show on Saturday.
And after the service, he and I have talked politics forever.
He helped me with my campaign in 2002 when I was running for state representative.
I mean, he's been a lifelong friend.
As long as I've been alive, I've had memories of this guy and the life of my family and myself.
Great guy.
And so anyway, we were talking about the DOMA ruling, and we just got into a really good back and forth.
And I said, Pastor, you know, this would make for great radio.
And I said, how do you feel about coming in next Saturday, which would be tonight?
And he said he'd love to.
And he's been on with us a few times before, but he's going to be on with us in the second hour.
And we're going to refocus on the Supreme Court and what they're up to with the Defensive Marriage Act ruling.
And we covered that some last week, too.
But I really thought he had a good take, a fresh perspective on it.
So we're going to be hearing from him.
He'll get to the studio in a few minutes.
But first, we're going to go up to Alaska, way up north, as Johnny Horton would say.
And we're going to hear from Chris.
Chris, you're on the line in the political cesspool with James Edwards and Keith Alexander.
Well, James, happy belated birthday to you.
And I got to say, you know, 150 years ago this past week, any hope of a constitutional republic on this continent died.
Well, I appreciate you saying both of those things.
First of all, thank you for remembering my birthday.
See, we got people here that remember my birthday as insignificant as it is.
And then you have people that don't even know when the country was founded or how old it is.
And Chris, of course, you said 150 years ago.
That gets back to that blog posting we did about the rebel yale.
You know, it'll really, really, it made the hair on my neck stand when I watched these old Confederates give that war cry.
But anyway, I didn't mean to interrupt.
Go on.
I did want to thank you for your acknowledgement, though.
I did want to say, though, that if you, I mean, I think that you can genuinely say that most of the working boys, they were farmers, mostly kids from New England and Upper Midwest, thought they were fighting for something that they weren't fighting for.
And if you took the boys to 20th Maine today and told them what they would have been fighting for, they'd have turned it around.
And I think that it was the last war where both sides were fighting for what they thought was right.
And too often, I think in our movement, we tend to demonize the average soldier on the Union side that was just a farm boy who's doing what he thought was the right thing and was getting manipulated by the elites in the big cities.
But I do want to say that if you asked those boys today with the DOMA ruling and with the invasion of Mexico into the United States and the destruction of state sovereignty and all of those other things that have come out in the last two weeks, I think 20th Maine would have joined the charge.
I think Joshua Chamberlain would have charged the other way.
And I think that we need to, and that's why I've told you before that I think this program is so important because it's the last radio program that keeps the memory of that old America alive.
And that's what we need to do more than anything, is to say, aside from a few sociopaths like Grant and Sherman, most people thought they were doing the right thing.
And it turns out that Robert E. Lee was right and Chamberlain was wrong.
But you bring them both today and they'd be on the same side.
Well, thank you, Chris.
This is Keith Alexander.
I appreciate those comments.
I think you hit the nail on the head.
I do believe that we had treasonous elites beginning with Abraham Lincoln, a man who basically the Steven Spielberg movie portrayed it this way.
He was capable of telling any lie in order to get the result that he wanted.
He would lie to the American people.
According to Spielberg, he really wanted to end slavery, but he knew that ending slavery was not that popular.
That's why people need to understand about the true causes of the Civil War.
The idea that the Civil War was this crusade against slavery, at least as understood by the people who actually fought in the war, is absurd.
Most antebellum Americans, North and South, were not so enamored with black people that they were willing to sacrifice their sons, their fathers, their brothers, their uncles, their cousins, their children in a crusade to free black people.
In fact, when the Emancipation Proclamation was read to fighting Joe Hooker's Army of the Potomac, the Army very nearly went into full mutiny.
This is not what we're fighting for, they said.
They thought they were fighting to preserve the Union.
And when they read and heard the Emancipation Proclamation, they were outraged at the idea that they were fighting supposedly to end slavery.
Now, somebody may, you know, my guests, I was telling you about my house guests this holiday said, you know, things have been totally reversed from what we learned when we were children.
When we were children, we learned that the Russians were the communists, the Marxists, and the bad guys, and America and Americans and the American government was for freedom and democracy, and we were the good guys.
Now look at the world.
Obama is a Marxist.
He is trying to intrude, like his predecessor, George W. Bush, into the affairs of other nations as an imperial power, pushing them around, telling them how to run their business, trying to dominate them.
Meanwhile, Russia has a leader, Vladimir Putin, who has a strong belief in the sanctity of the Russian nation and has a great deal of affection and puts all of his efforts into preserving and nurturing and helping the native stock people of Russia.
He wants them to thrive.
He wants them to go forth, be fruitful, and multiply.
Meanwhile, our elites have the exact opposite agenda.
Want us to be swamped with third world strangers.
That's right i'm, it is James.
And if you had told uh anybody who was a conservative when James or I were born that uh, by the time we were 30 years old, that the president of the United States would be and the president of Russia would be, a Christian nationalist, they'd have looked at you like, you're a planet.
That's right.
Well, you know, and I take some hope in that Chris, because you look at how much Russia suffered uh during the 1900s, from the Bolshevik revolution all the way through uh the end of the Cold War and beyond.
And you would have said, you know, if anybody could never, if there's anybody past the point of redemption that'll never turn it around, it's got to be Russia.
And lo and behold, they may be the key to uh uh, to Western revival and and in White civilization uh, if they keep uh on on the current track.
And there's still a lot wrong with Russia.
But there's more right there than there is here.
And you know what?
Do we even celebrate the 4th of july anymore?
For I mean, I think we celebrate it for the memory of what once was again the America as we knew it uh, from uh, the Mayflower Compact all the way through 1860.
But you know, there's nothing left in America worth celebrating now.
Should the war have been fought, you know?
Was it even worth the founders effort to fight that revolutionary war?
I still maintain that the answer is yes to that, because had they not done that, we would look a lot more like the great Britain of today and many European countries where you can be jailed for exercising uh, freedom of speech and freedom of thought.
You know, even though America is plummeting to into the abyss as fast as it can possibly fall uh, we are still a little bit better off uh than than some of our European counterparts, although on the flip side, they do have nationalist parties rising up.
Uh that that we don't have, and so I guess it's a little give and take there.
But um, but yeah, I still think it was worth fighting for, because we still have a little bit of freedom here that some of our brothers and cousins over there don't have.
But uh I I, I tell you uh mostly, the 4th of july is a nostalgic holiday for me, uh that someone sent me in an email that said, America was founded by rugged citizens who evaded taxes, spoke strongly against tyranny, grew tobacco, brewed beer and smuggled weapons, and it will be saved only by those same types of citizens.
Uh, I don't know if I necessarily agree with all of that, but there's probably a lot more truth in that statement uh, than there is falsehood.
Uh Chris, we're about to wrap up this hour, but I want to give the final word to you and uh again, thank you for your call.
Well, thank you, James.
I just wanted to tell you and keep up with good work and job.
If we are going to get this country back, it's it's not going to be America the Super, it's going to be Dixie, and it's going to be the West, and it's going to be New England farm boys that thought that they were fighting for, for New England and it's going to be different cultures, different regions and and the political cesspool does a better job than anybody in honoring the heritage You're the different parts, as different parts and distinct nations.
And I thank you for your excellent work.
Well, thank you, Chris, for listening.
God bless you as well.
You know, and I do agree, and I want to make clear because I know Keith took it after your opening statement, but I agree with you on the assessment of Chamberlain and Lee and everything that you said during that opening montage.
And yeah, you know, we're going to continue to fight until God Himself calls us home.
Hopefully, we'll be successful, but if not, there's still glory in doing one's duty, and we will always do ours so long as we can.
Folks, we got to take a break.
Second hour coming up here.
You're listening to the political assessment on the Liberty News Radio Network.
