Last night, we saw a lot of political drama with Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley's debate, Donald Trump's town hall, and of course, TimCast IRL hosted Vivek Ramaswamy for a podcast-slash-town hall-style hybrid event.
Now, a lot happened outside of that as well.
Chris Christie was caught on hot mic after he dropped out of the race, and he said Nikki Haley's gonna get smoked!
And then someone else suggested Ron DeSantis will drop out after Iowa because he's going to lose.
I don't know who's gonna win on Monday.
Vivek Ramaswamy says people are gonna be very surprised, and he's gonna turn things around.
The polls are wrong, he's gonna see a big, big win.
I honestly don't know.
I don't.
I can tell you that one of the bigger takeaways from last night was Donald Trump saying, I'm not going to have time for retribution.
Which is just so heartbreaking.
Because as most of you know, we're big fans of retribution.
I don't mean mindless, blind rage and revenge.
I'm talking about accountability.
Donald Trump, who had said in the past he wants revenge, we made the revenge meme poster and posted it everywhere.
Donald Trump, who said he will be your retribution, now he says, and it's not so bad, he said, we're going to make this country so successful, we will not, we won't need, I'm sorry, we won't have time, we're not going to have time for retribution because things are going to be so successful here in these United States.
Now, I do think the one big takeaway from last night is the only shows that mattered were Donald Trump's town hall event and the Vivek Ramaswamy town hall.
But the big takeaway, of course, is that the villain The villain was the media we met along the way.
Aside from the fact the media is now lying about what Donald Trump said, of course they're going to, one of my favorite things is, we have this piece of paper right here, I'm gonna wiggle it a little bit, and it's a list of the journalists who showed up, I shouldn't even say journalists, a list of the activists and smear merchants who showed up to our town hall with Vivek Ramaswamy, and how they lied and could not get basic facts correct.
What a time to be alive, my friends!
Well, let's break all this down.
The big news, of course, is Donald Trump saying, I'm not going to have time for retribution because it breaks my heart.
But let me say this before we read the big story, and I want to talk to you about that hot mic moment and whether or not Ron DeSantis will drop out.
Prediction markets are not too kind to candidate DeSantis right now.
Governor DeSantis.
But I do want to stress why the only shows that mattered last night would be Donald Trump's town hall and the Vivek Ramaswamy town hall that we did.
The ratings were incredible.
We're still waiting on the total numbers.
I would say just on YouTube alone, it looks like we're around 600,000 for the show.
Which, you know, we've done much, much bigger shows in the past, but it's the beginning of the election year.
We had 85,000 concurrent viewers watching.
And then we also had, with the multi-stream, probably close to over, I would say over 100,000.
Now, I don't know that the Vivek Ramaswamy Town Hall is the most important event last night.
I'm certainly honored to have, we had a hundred or so people who had shown up.
I got tremendous respect for the work that Vivek Ramaswamy is doing.
of the candidate as he, you know, Vivek has done an amazing job and has worked really,
really hard in Iowa, visiting every single county twice.
That's what local reporting is saying.
And as soon as the show wrapped, he got on a bus and he's like, we're going to go drive
out and we're going to head out and do more campaign events.
I got tremendous respect for the work that Vivek Ramaswamy is doing.
I think Donald Trump is going to win.
But the reason why I think this show is the other most is the only other important show
to have watched.
If you watched the Trump town hall, respect.
Check out our podcast with Candace Owens and Vivek Ramasamy from last night.
Because the fear here, and Vivek made a really, really great point last night, Nikki Haley is the establishment defense play.
What does that mean?
Well, I've made the argument that Joe Biden's going to drop out.
I think that's fair to say.
Joe Biden drops out for some reason or another, and then they can rush in Gavin Newsom, maybe now Michelle Obama, because she's popped up in the press saying she's so scared, she's terrified of what will happen in 2024.
Well, Vivek made a good point.
Why would it be a Democrat when you can go in through the Republican primary?
Now that's interesting.
Because when you take all of the facts into consideration, it does look like that is likely a play the establishment is making.
So first, I said several months ago, Joe Biden is out.
There's no way he's running.
He's having these medical episodes.
His polls are in the gutter.
I mean, it looks like they've abandoned him.
His polls aren't going to improve.
What's the point of even trying to have this guy run?
And so I said, I think he's going to drop out.
But many people pointed out to me, they said, Tim, no, you're wrong.
It's too late to have a primary.
It has to be Joe Biden.
And I thought to myself, OK, that's interesting.
So I guess it must be Joe Biden.
But then we got the story from a JPMorgan top strategist who said Joe Biden will drop out in March over a medical issue.
And I said, you know what?
Actually, that's perfect, because now it means the DNC can sub out Joe Biden.
Joe Biden falls.
He gets sick.
He has a heart attack.
Who knows?
And then they go, oh gee, oh no, we don't have time for a primary.
We're going to have to choose who the nominee is going to be.
Thus they can just rubber stamp Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama.
And that means those pesky candidates like RFK Jr.
or Marianne Williamson, even Cenk Uygur, they won't get a chance.
The reality is, I don't think Newsom or Michelle Obama would win a primary against any one of these other progressives.
I don't know if RFK Jr.
is a progressive or whatever you'd call him, but they're way more popular and they generate more buzz.
Maybe though, Michelle Obama's got that name recognition and that matters.
So that seems like it's a decent play.
But if I make points out, no.
Biden just stays in.
And then what happens with these trials, these hearings they're putting Trump through, They're trying to stop him from being able to run.
That's obvious.
But the removal of his name from the ballot is not to prevent him from running in 2024's November general election, but to stop him from being able to win the primary.
Here's why.
This actually makes a lot of sense, and I think Vivek is correct about this.
Who cares if Colorado boots Trump off the ballot, right?
No, I mean, it's an egregious violation of our social norms and our free and fair elections, blah blah blah.
But the Democrats are going to win Colorado anyway, so it's not like Trump's going to lose any electoral votes.
Well, I've made the point.
This is going to take away from the popular vote.
So if they make these moves in blue states, where it's very easy for them to do it, you get any blue state, they say we're moving Trump, and all of a sudden everyone cheers for it.
It's not about the general.
Now, Donald Trump winning a general election through the Electoral College, but not being like, let's say California boots him off because now these lawsuits are happening.
That's 10 million Republican votes gone.
So Donald Trump wins the presidency with 40 million votes to insert Democrat candidates 65 to 70 million votes and they go, look at this.
He doesn't have the popular vote.
He can't be president.
Democracy, democracy.
Well, it's never the way the system worked.
But they'll argue that makes Trump disqualified because he did not win the popular vote.
Or, at the very least, they'll use that to try and get rid of the Electoral College.
When, in fact, the only reason Trump wouldn't get those votes is because they took his name off the ballot.
That's a possibility, too.
But if a vague point's out, it boots him from the primary.
Trump needs to win a California primary, same as he needs to win any other Republican primary in every state.
And you've got blue states that can snap their fingers, pull his name off the ballot, and all of a sudden Donald Trump is not in the primary, and guess who wins?
Nikki Haley.
Or as I like to call her, Nikki Hillary.
Warmonger extraordinaire.
Vivek says he is not going to get out of this race at all.
Because if he does, that's what you're going to get.
He made a great point last night.
And man, is he in a tough spot with these very difficult questions.
But I am glad that Vivek Ramaswamy is currently running.
Even though, I'm going to be completely honest, I don't vote for Trump.
I'm gonna vote for Trump.
But, Vivek makes a great point.
And so, I'm standing here guarded, preparing for how we can effectively handle what's to come.
There are only two America First candidates that are running right now.
Anywhere.
In any capacity.
Well, to be fair, you could argue some of the Libertarians, probably.
But in the major parties, you've got Trump and you've got Vivek.
Imagine this.
With this Chris Christie hot mic thing.
This is crazy.
It wasn't Chris Christie who said it, but someone on the recording says that DeSantis is likely getting out after Iowa.
Now, DeSantis struck down this rumor already several days ago.
And so, I don't know who thinks, I don't see him dropping out.
Not right now.
But it is possible that Ron DeSantis does drop out at some point.
I mean, let me show you this right here in the prediction markets.
Ron DeSantis, who owned the prediction markets a year and a half or two years ago, is now tied in third place with Vivek Ramaswamy.
Alright, well, I like Ron DeSantis.
I think his campaign has been just absolutely terrible.
You know what?
Cry about it to his supporters.
Vivek Ramaswamy has done an amazing job.
But, you know, for a variety of reasons the media is not too happy with him.
They're going to lie about him a whole lot.
But Vivek and Ron DeSantis are tied where it matters.
The will of the people in the prediction markets.
You can come at me and talk about all the polls in the world.

Bye bye.
And so it's hard for me to see of a vague victory.
But I do.
I will admit there is a strong possibility that we are seeing manipulated polls once again.
The vague is traveling around.
He's meeting people.
He says he's saying he's seeing this groundswell.
It's possible.
I think it would be absolutely fantastic if you win second place.
That would be incredible.
But I think Nikki Haley's got tons of support.
From establishment neocon type individuals.
I think second place makes sense for her.
But let's talk about this.
Let's say right now the prediction markets say Ron DeSantis has got a six percent chance.
They say six cents, but it's basically that's what you can buy a share of Ron DeSantis winning the nomination.
Six cents.
Nikki Haley's at 17.
Ron DeSantis is spiraling.
It's sad, really.
Nikki Haley is beating him in the polls, she's beating him in the prediction markets, and Ron DeSantis is tied with Vivek.
Here's the terrifying reality.
Vivek said, last night, on the Tim Kast Eye at Royal Town Hall Show, we know what's coming.
We should not be surprised, a year from now, when the deep state, when the establishment machine, when they go after Trump in the way we know they're going to go after him, we should not be surprised and say, I wish I did something different.
The challenge for Vivek, he needs to win the non-Trump vote.
But, he's an honest guy.
And his positions are very much in line with Donald Trump.
But he's running the campaign we hoped Ron DeSantis was going to run.
Youthful energy, traveling around, doing the hard work.
I think they said he's the youngest guy to ever run.
He's 38.
Young guy, tons of energy, good ideas.
And he is willing to say things that even though they're not popular, he was talking about how his civic test for voting polled negatively.
And he said, it's the right thing to do.
We're going to stick with it.
Man, that's bold and that's brave, sir.
The scenario would play out like this in, I believe this would be Vivek's strategy.
With these efforts to remove Trump from the ballot, Eventually, you end up with an option of Nikki Haley, Rhonda Sanders, or Vivek Ramaswamy.
Vivek is hoping, and I see this as being very good for us, in an event that happens, he can carry the banner for America First, for MAGA, when or if Donald Trump is removed.
Now, I think Vivek's view is that Trump's going to be removed.
They're going to stop him, strip him, and remove him.
Imagine Ron DeSantis goes, well, we ran a great campaign, but I think it's time to pack it in and endorse Nikki Haley.
That would be absolute chaos.
Imagine if Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out right now.
Let's say Vivek loses Iowa.
And then, Ron DeSantis, at some point after, drops out.
And so Vevek says, well, you know, we ran a good campaign.
It was very expensive, and we're gonna wrap things up, but, you know, I endorsed Donald Trump, blah, blah, blah.
Then you're left with two people in the GOP primary, Nikki Haley and Donald Trump.
Then imagine, the deep state plays some dirty game, removing Donald Trump, and you're left with nothing but Lil' Ol' Hillary.
Oh, I'm sorry!
Haley.
Did I say that?
That was an actual accident.
You're left with Nikki Hillary.
I mean, Nikki Haley.
I'd prefer this.
Vivek Ramaswamy stays in the race.
If they try to pull a fast one on Donald Trump, and they are successful in removing him, Vivek is still there.
Now, hold on.
I'm not saying you don't vote for Donald Trump.
Maybe Donald Trump runs as an independent.
They stop him from running in the primary.
They take his name off these blue states.
Vivek beats Nikki Hillary.
Wins the GOP nomination.
I'm not saying he does.
I'm saying I hope he does.
Because if Trump is going to run as an independent, y'all are free to vote Vivek, aren't you?
That's right.
Right now, what matters is, Vivek understands this.
If Donald Trump is forced out of the race, he's going to take on a large portion of those Trump voters.
Not all of them.
But I think enough to where he would win.
So, Vivek says the other night, if you want to save Trump and you want to save this country, you vote for me in these primaries.
I think Vivek knows he's in a tough spot because, look, I'm just going to say it.
I think Vivek's only real play is that he is a Trump supporter.
He believes in a lot of what Trump was fighting for, a lot of what America First was fighting for.
His loyalty, Trump's loyalty, what we care about is this country, not a candidate or an individual.
And if he drops out, we would be handing over the entire play to the deep state.
So I think Vivek knows he's the runner-up.
I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but I think he knows that his opportunity is only if they try to strike down Donald Trump.
And I'm glad he's here, I'm glad he's doing this, because, man, it would be... I think the play they wanted was Ron DeSantis versus Nikki Haley.
Donald Trump gets booted out, they leave Joe Biden in, and then Haley wins, and you get neocon Hillary—well, I don't know, you get neocon Hillary Clinton.
Vivek makes a really good point about that.
Now, I certainly think it's possible, because look, why would they just—why would they just play that game?
The smartest move they could make?
Play both.
Nikki Haley is your safety net on the Republican side.
And Joe Biden gets knocked out in March, and you bring in Gavin Newsom.
Imagine that 2024 race.
Gavin Newsom versus Nikki Haley.
But who could complain?
You see, right now we have big concerns that something bad's going to happen.
No one's going to trust the results of this election.
What if the election is just two people you don't want anyway, who's going to fight about it?
No, I mean, think about it.
Let's say Donald Trump runs.
And it's Trump versus Newsom or Michelle Obama.
Let's say that Trump wins or loses.
He wins, Democrats refuse to accept it.
He loses, Republicans refuse to accept it.
Let's say they somehow get Trump out before any of this happens.
We enter the 2024 election.
Let's say it's October.
And we now know the nominee is going to be Nikki Haley versus Gavin Newsom.
If Gavin Newsom wins, does anybody care?
Trump supporters will be complaining about other stuff.
They'll have been complaining for months about Trump's removal from the primary.
Is anyone going to go fight in the streets over Nikki Haley losing?
No.
And the point here is this.
If Nikki Haley wins or Gavin Newsom wins, yet people will accept the results of that because they hate them both and the populists will have rejected the election a long time ago.
Perhaps that is the play, but I don't know for sure.
I don't know for sure.
All I can say is I'm glad Vivek is here.
I'm glad he's running.
And in the event Trump is removed from the primary and something bad happens to the point where he's not an option anymore, I'm voting for Vivek.
In fact, you know, we'll see.
I might vote for Vivek in the primary just because I know Trump is so far ahead that voting for Vivek will only booze Vivek just enough.
I want Vivek to beat Nikki Haley.
I want Trump to win.
If Trump is forced out and they're playing dirty games trying to manipulate us, I'm glad we got Vivek as a plan B. But I'd like to shout out our good friends in the media as we come to a close on this opening morning segment.
And of course, here's the video.
Donald Trump says, I'm not going to have time for retribution.
Let's play this clip.
You can hear it straight from Trump himself.
donald j trump
Well, first of all, a lot of people would say that that's not so bad.
Look what they did.
Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.
The FBI Twitter hoax.
The 51 intelligence agents hoax.
All of these different hoaxes that they did.
I mean, you know, a lot of people would say that's probably quite normal.
I'm not going to have time for retribution.
We're going to make this country so successful again.
I'm not going to have time for retribution.
And remember this, our ultimate retribution is success.
tim pool
I can respect that to a certain degree, but I'm a bit upset because I actually want to see people get fired.
I want to see criminal indictments.
I'm not so sure Trump wants to play that game.
I still think he does.
I got to be honest.
I think Trump is going to have some degree of this.
I think he's trying to take a more moderate approach on TV right now to say, look, I'm not going to waste the time of the American people.
I'm not going to go in and just start smashing things with hammers because a lot of people I've talked to have said, I don't want that.
Now, last night, you know, I'm talking to a lot of people from Vivek's campaign, and I said, look, Vivek.
Look at that, I said Vivek.
Vivek's campaign.
And I said, if Donald Trump's the wrecking crew, Vivek is the construction crew.
I will take one more term of Donald Trump for him to go in, fire these people, shut things down.
Yeah, but Vivek is promising to do that stuff, too.
Now, here's how Yahoo News frames it.
Donald Trump hints at presidential retribution as his fading rivals squabble at debate.
Hints it?
He rejected it.
You know, this is what the media does.
It is the game they play, and you all know it.
But of course, we got to experience it firsthand thanks to our good friends over at We Are Iowa.
Oh yeah.
First, I'd like to shout out local news websites for doing this disgusting thing where they have a code and their site that automatically refreshes to generate ads.
It's a scummy.
Here's the news report from We Are Iowa.
Shout out, local news.
Where you can see the event we had last night and a big ol' Timcast IRL right there up on a screen.
While competitors debate, Vivek Ramaswamy records live podcast episode in Des Moines.
That's what the title says.
But of course, Connor O'Neill Who I'm assuming was here.
I don't know about this Emma Brustkern woman.
She's not on our press.
I got the press list right here.
I don't see her name anywhere.
Let's see, do we have an Emma?
We don't.
He says Ramaswamy joined podcast host Tim Pool live on quote, the Tim Pool Daily Show, a political news podcast.
The episode was recorded at Ramaswamy's campaign headquarters in downtown Des Moines.
Now, there are a few points of clarification I must make.
You're listening right now to the Tim Pool Daily Show.
Timcast IRL is a multi-person conversational podcast that talks about top news of the day and cultural and social issues.
We hosted Vivek Ramaswamy last night on Timcast IRL, which is an entirely different podcast.
My guy, could you not have done but a humble Google search?
Or how about look at the giant screen you were staring at the whole time, front and center?
That said, Tim cast IRL.
Certainly, it does not say The Tim Pool Daily Show.
And if he even pulled up a single episode of The Tim Pool Daily Show, he could see it is a totally different show.
My favorite point here, however, is he says during the live podcast recording,
Rama Swami blamed the federal government for the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol,
saying the FBI set up and planned the attack. He most certainly did not. Dude, that didn't happen.
Vivek did not say this.
He said he had questions about the Whitmer case, the promotions given to certain federal agents.
He said the original plan, apparently, was to storm the Capitol in Detroit, and he has questions and concerns about the involvement of federal agents.
And, you know, he's referred to it as Entrapment Day.
But he did not so directly and specifically say, the FBI did it.
But amazingly, they don't quote him.
They just go on to say he then said he wants to shut down the FBI.
josh hammer
Hey, guys, Josh Hammer here, the host of America on Trial with Josh Hammer, a podcast for the First Podcast Network.
Look, there are a lot of shows out there that are explaining the political news cycle, what's happening on the Hill to this, to that.
There are no other shows that are cutting straight to the point when it comes to the unprecedented lawfare debilitating and affecting the twenty twenty four presidential election.
We do all of that every single day right here on America on Trial with Josh Hammer.

Great.
We love the media, don't we, folks?
So here you go once again.
Yesterday when I opened the show, I opened with this.
Inside job, according to Oxford Languages.
A crime committed by or with the assistance of a person living or working on the premises where it occurred.
I then showed numerous sources, where even CNN.com Sounds like assistance.
Okay.
Maybe it was an accident.
Maybe all they're saying is a technicality.
The cop wasn't waving him in, but it looked like it, so we're not gonna charge this guy and send him to prison.
Except we have the police escorting the Q Shaman.
We have Joe Scarborough of MSNBC saying you opened the effing doors for them.
So, uh, yeah.
Now, a lot of people said, Tim, you opened this by calling January 6th an inside job.
I called out Vivek.
I said, I'm gonna call you out, Vivek.
Because you said it looks like an inside job when it was.
But it was.
Inside job doesn't mean Joe Biden did it.
It means that a single police officer opened the door.
Now, of course, more than a single police officer opened the door, but you get the point.
Some people said, Tim, why don't you talk about the federal informants that are there?
I'm like, we don't need to.
We can, we can plainly say January 6th was an inside job, not by showing videos of people, there are videos of people saying like they're dressing up and don't know nothing about it.
You're gonna get arguments from people saying, oh those those are fake videos.
Well, a judge agreed a cop waved a guy in the building.
You can argue the cop did not mean to, but the cop did.
There are other people that have complained.
Joe Scarborough said you politely opened the door for terrorists.
Politely.
Politely.
That's assistance.
That's an inside job.
So let me just wrap this by saying thank you, corporate press, for lying and doing what you do best.
In the meantime, you know, I know a lot of people did watch the CNN town hall debate.
We typically on TimCastIRL crush CNN in the key demo.
I mean, this is really wild.
I think Anderson Cooper's key demo ratings are like 90-something.
Dude, like 90,000 people.
TimCastIRL does half a million per episode in the key demographic.
It's kind of crazy to think.
We're not getting the millions that Tucker or Cooper or any of these people used to get.
Tucker, of course, still getting millions.
And so it's interesting what's going to happen moving forward.
We used to have a very small group of commentators, pundits, anchors.
And so they were getting 5 to 10 million viewers every episode.
But with the internet decentralizing everything, not so much anymore.
Now, you know, Tucker Carlson, when he was still on Fox News, was getting 300 to 500 in the key demo, but he was getting 3 million in the 60 plus.
I don't know where those voters went.
Those viewers.
I don't know what they're watching anymore.
I know that we get, you know, around half a million per episode in the key demo.
It's really amazing to see.
Not, you know, the way they track ratings, it's interesting because podcasts are different.
CNN runs the show, it runs for an hour, it stops, they got 90,000 views.
Timcast IRL runs the show, we stop, and then people watch in the morning.
Something they don't do for, like, Anderson Cooper.
So, we end up picking up 100,000 on podcast platforms, we end up cracking around 400k on YouTube, plus all the clips.
If we include the clips, we're talking about total exposure of over, like, a million, million and a half across the board.
So we're getting a substantial amount of views in different ways.
It's different from the way TV used to be.
But our key demo viewership rivals that of even Tucker Carlson at the time when he was on Fox News.
The issue, I suppose, is We're getting a lot of people in the key demographics, 18 to 54, but where are the older voters and what are they watching?
We need to pay attention because they're a significant voting force and we want to communicate with them and we want to keep, we want to make sure they understand what's happening in this country.
I'm gonna leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 1 p.m.
on this channel.
Thanks for hanging out and I'll see you all then.
Because Elon Musk is so famous, he gets the title card in all of these big news stories.
He's gonna be the headline, he's gonna be the name you hear about.
Elon Musk, criticized by Civil Rights Group over claim that diversity efforts make flying less safe.
In several posts on X, Musk claimed, without evidence, that diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives put airline customers in danger.
Now, I gotta tell you guys.
I am offended by this, okay?
Because just the other day, I pulled up Boeing's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and initiatives from their website, when I pointed out that there was a door that blew off the side of a Boeing 737 MAX 9.
And phones flew out of it, and there was a concern that people may actually fly out of it.
Fortunately, nobody was sitting in those seats at the time.
And actually, we were vacationing up in Alaska for the holiday, for the New Year, and we flew on one of those planes, and I can only imagine sitting in a chair when the whole side panel blows out.
They're called door plugs, so it's not like it was a door.
It actually looked like it was just a solid piece of the plane, but it was sealed over because it was not in use.
But anyway, here's the fun part.
They're going after Elon Musk on this one, claiming he's got no evidence, when in fact, quite the opposite has happened.
You see, it was James Lindsay Who did a long thread yesterday about diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in airline hiring.
And the concern, of course, being that if you are not hiring based on merit, but hiring based on race, you will end up with people who are not qualified for that position, and thus you will end up with serious disasters.
But you don't have to take my word for it.
In fact, you don't have to take James Lindsay's word for it.
We have this—well, first of all, I've got a couple stories for you.
United Airlines' jet is forced to make emergency landing after door lights started flashing, but takes off again just hours later.
But this story, I believe, caught many people's attention.
Aviation expert says poor FAA oversight means next plane crash is imminent and speculates Boeing's treacherous 737 MAX lost door over Portland because it had never been bolted on in the first place.
So, OK.
All right.
Elon Musk is getting criticized.
NBC News is claiming he has no evidence.
That's silly and untrue.
But there's something bigger at play here.
When the COVID lockdowns happened, many people retired.
There are questions about why we lost so many people in the workforce.
For instance, you know where we live out in West Virginia, we're currently in Iowa.
We have this old Hollywood casino.
And I've boycotted them, as an aside.
Go to Maryland Live instead.
But they actually used to have this really great restaurant, so I'm told, or like a food concession thing, that overlooked horse track racing.
All gone.
And by the time we went and hung out there, I said, you know, why is it that we can't have a nice cheeseburger and fries as we watch the horses race?
It's fun to watch the horses race.
You bet on the horse with the silliest name.
They said since COVID, everybody retired.
They shut down because of COVID.
People got laid off.
Older people retired.
The same is true for the poker rooms, where I like to play poker.
A lot of the dealers decided to retire.
With businesses shutting down, they just said, screw it.
I'm going to take what I got, and I'm going to go.
And a lot of these people were getting stimulus checks.
So the real issue at play right now is twofold.
One, you have mass retirements from pilots, from air traffic control, and not just them, from many, many other jobs.
Now, we want to keep the same volume of flights, we want to increase the volume of flights, but we're also getting at the same time a lack of experience as older folks retire, those who are actually running the show are retiring, and handing it off to people with less experience, and these companies insisting that they have parity in the workplace, which means they want, and this is what they say, but this is not actually what they do, they want it to be that all of the identity backgrounds within their company are In parity with the public, which doesn't make sense.
It just doesn't.
Look, I understand a lot of these people want to move past.
Well, actually, I disagree.
I would argue that liberals, you know, the old school type, want to move past racist hiring practices and a society that uses race as some determinant factor.
Although I will say a lot of the DEI people have done the opposite and they're now actually insisting we use race for these factors.
And thus, you actually are going to be at risk of, you know, I'll put it this way, you know, Mark Cuban wants to argue with Elon Musk over diversity hiring and practicing and things like this.
But when people question why it is Mark Cuban won't hire, like, a 5'1 Asian woman to play on the Dallas Mavericks, it's just, it's all crickets.
Because the reality is, When it comes to their money, when it comes to them making millions and billions of dollars, Dallas Mavericks?
You think Mark Cuban's gonna sacrifice his team for something like this?
He's not gonna put a tiny Asian woman on his basketball team, that makes no sense.
But that would be diverse, right?
Unfortunately for NBA teams, they're rather not diverse.
They're all just basically a bunch of really tall men.
There was some stat where it was like if you're over 7 feet tall, you have a 17% chance of playing in the NBA.
Unsurprising.
So NBC News wants to go after Elon Musk.
First, let's talk about the cultural elements here, and then we'll talk about whether or not you'll be safe on a plane.
And I'll show you what actually was said with James Lindsay's thread over these hiring practices.
NBC News reports tech billionaire Elon Musk drew a swift rebuke from two of the nation's best-known civil rights organizations Wednesday after he criticized efforts by United Airlines and Boeing to hire non-white pilots and factory workers.
Now, I just want to pause right there.
How is that legal?
Serious question.
The 1964 Civil Rights Act—'67 was Loving v. Virginia—these are huge strides in civil rights that make it so you cannot discriminate on the basis of race.
So when they outright say they are using race as a discriminatory factor in how they hire, I have to wonder how that's not illegal!
I assume it is illegal.
The criticism came after Musk claimed in a series of posts on X that efforts to diversify workforce at those companies have made air travel less safe.
He offered no evidence for the claim, and one of his replies directed attention to a post by someone else speculating about the IQ of black airline employees.
I'm sure some random internet person brought that up.
And of course, they are wrong.
Elon Musk actually did provide some decent evidence.
More importantly, Elon Musk was just commenting on a post by James Lindsay.
Elon Musk tweeted, or he axed, whatever, Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritize DEI hiring over your safety?
That is actually happening.
Now hold on there a minute.
They said that diversity hiring would make flying less safe.
That's not what Elon even said.
Elon said they're prioritizing diversity hiring over making flights more safe.
You see how the media does this?
NBC News, one of the worst possible organizations.
Look, people rag on CNN.
I gotta tell you, NBC News is the worst of the worst as it pertains to making up crap and propaganda.
But my response to good sir Elon Musk was, uh, no sir, I've grown quite fond of living.
I would prefer to continue to do so, in which case, I'm going to be careful about what planes I'm getting on.
And if you've got a guy right now saying that lack of FAA oversight is leading to these things, this is where I say, I don't think it's just DEI.
The DEI stuff plays a role when you consider they need more staff, more employees, and better trained people.
So, if a company is facing a shortfall of top talent, and then they say, we're not concerned with their capabilities or their merit, we're more concerned about racial parity, you run the risk of quite literally yes.
Now, Mark Cuban got into the Motten-Bailey argument.
For those that aren't familiar, it's basically where you say something reasonable, like, you know, we're not, the argument here is, we want to make sure we're, Real diversity is when we don't overlook a candidate because of their race.
And you're like, well that makes sense.
Right, it's like a white guy.
Ah, you see, here's where they're playing the game.
The real argument they're saying is that they want to specifically hire people based on race.
Because if it were true, as Mark Cuban describes it, diversity, if it were true that diversity meant you don't overlook a group based on their race, he's arguing that instead of just looking at a pool of white guys for your job, you make sure to include black, Indian, Mexican, Latino, etc., and women, and LGBT, because there may be real good talent within those ranks.
And that's a fact.
That's a fact.
And that's reasonable, isn't it?
You'd be nuts.
I gotta tell you, if I had a couple people apply for a job here at Timcast, and one guy was like, I am the best video editor ever, and he made these really awesome movies, and it turned out that he was like a mixed-race, Asian, black, Jewish dude in a wheelchair, I'm not going to ignore his raw talent in an area I need simply because of any of those characteristics.
That's stupid.
And that's supposed to be what diversity is, but that's not actually what they do.
That's the argument they give you because it sounds reasonable.
The one they actually give you is they completely overlook white men because of their race.
So if I get two people who show up for a job, and the guy who happens to be the best is not the dude in a wheelchair of mixed-race background, And it's some able-bodied cis-head-white-man or whatever, cis-heteronormative man.
I don't care about any of that.
I'm gonna be like, show me the movie you made, let's make good movies.
And that is what we'll do.
There's a reality there.
Because of historical biases, and because of realities as it pertains to the human body and genetics, you're not going to have racial parity.
Let's just talk about the NBA, for instance.
And that's what I'm talking about with Mark Cuban.
With the NBA, you clearly have all tall guys, okay?
That's their genetics, their height.
I suppose technically someone can get surgery to make themselves taller if they want to play basketball or whatever.
But probably wouldn't be the same as somebody who naturally is a tall person.
Are we now going to say, ah ah ah, but there could be great talent in that pool of five foot tall individuals to play basketball?
The reality is Muggsy Bogues was an amazing guy.
That dude is an inspiration and a legend.
Work hard, you can overcome.
But come on, let's be real.
Isn't it a major advantage in being massively tall?
That's the reality of biology.
They want to ignore.
Let's take a look at what James Lindsay had to say.
He says, Boeing's corporate filings with the SEC reveal that at the beginning of 2022,
the annual bonus plan to reward CEO and executives for increasing profit for shareholders
and prioritizing safety was changed to reward them if they hit DEI targets.
The article, the Boeing proxy statement published by James Lindsay, which,
dare I say, qualifies as evidence, reads, our 2022 annual incentive plan will continue to be based on
company financial and operational performance, business unit financial performance, and
individual performance, but with an increased focus on operational goals.
While our 2021 design incorporated operational performance in the areas of product safety, employee safety, and quality, for 2022 we will add two other focus areas critical to our long-range business plan.
Climate and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Now come on, guys.
James Lindsay didn't include the climate change stuff.
The Compensation Committee has set goals to measure the degree of performance under each operational component, but will consider both quantitative and qualitative results following the end of the performance period in determining whether the goal has been achieved.
The Compensation Committee also adjusted the weightings, as shown below.
So it's not that they... It doesn't appear that they replaced it.
They adjusted the weight and included climate and DEI.
Now listen.
28 million views on this tweet.
And what does NBC News do?
Elon Musk criticized.
James Lindsay's the one who made the thread.
If you want to rag on anybody, rag on Doctor.
James Lindsay, who did this digging and found these data points.
I'd also like to add, like, there's a certain degree of reasonableness in the climate bonus one.
Like, if a guy who, the head of a major airline, said, you know, we're going to do incentives for climate stuff, and what that meant was, if you could reduce the cost of fuel consumption, right on these jets, everybody saves money.
Hey man, give people bonuses for that.
Make the planes fly more efficiently, you're going to save a ton of money on fuel.
And that's more fuel for everybody else.
I'm totally on board with that.
But DEI?
What does that even mean?
Now, when you incentivize this with cash, I'll tell you what you're gonna get.
You're gonna get a wholehearted, public-facing, we-are-just-trying-to-find-the-best candidate.
And behind the scenes, the dude doing the hiring is gonna be like, I don't care, man, I'm gonna get a bonus!
So what does that mean?
Safety will be deprioritized.
Of course, Elon Musk is criticized for this, they say.
And to be fair, the story is true.
Musk was criticized.
Mark Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, said Musk's statements were abhorrent and pathetic.
He noted that Tesla, where Musk is CEO, is being sued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for alleged abuse of black employees, including claims of racial slurs and nooses found in the workplace.
I'm gonna go ahead and say, I don't believe that at all.
Let's read on.
Musk's company not only refused to investigate complaints or take any steps to end the abuse, it viciously retaliated against employees who complained or opposed the abuse.
I'm gonna go ahead and say, once again, I don't believe it.
The angle here that I would believe is that Elon Musk had supervisors or high-level, high-ranking employees who were bad people.
But to pass that off onto Elon Musk as an individual?
Nah, I don't buy it.
The only thing anyone needs to hear from Musk about diversity in the workplace is an apology.
I look forward to these companies going out of business, but they go on.
NAACP President and CEO Derek Johnson responded to Musk on X saying, The actual danger comes from Musk's own social media site.
Reminder to Elon Musk, providing a home for the proliferation of hate speech and white supremacist conspiracy theories kills people.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion cultivates a more inclusive society.
No, it doesn't.
It does quite literally the opposite.
And you know why I know?
And I'm allowed to say this?
And they don't care?
It's because I'm mixed race, right?
Maybe you didn't know that.
But in fact, yes it's true, yes!
Your favorite YouTube pundit and podcaster, Tim Pool, does in fact have a second-generation mixed-race background.
I love how they try to insult me over this, too.
No, for real.
There was some article written about me where someone said, he's barely a quarter Asian, so it doesn't even count anyway.
And it's just like, wow, they get really mad when people who are supposedly those who are supposed to be helped are calling them out for being evil.
You wanna know what the reality is?
These people are segregationists.
They've always been segregationists.
And I think one of their biggest fears is race-mixing.
It's funny, I've had these conversations with white nationalists who are, like, opposed to race-mixing.
And they'll say a bunch of, you know, like, what was I told?
I was told that I won't be able to get organ transplants.
I don't know, maybe it's true, but I don't care.
I would prefer to be alive.
If I had to take a stab at it, you know what I mean?
I would not be able to get an organ transplant, because they'd have to find someone of the same genetic background as me to have the organ transplant work.
And, I mean, there's some kind of truth to that.
I think it's a bit of an overstretch, but sure.
But if you told me my options were to have never been born, or to just, in the event I need an organ transplant, I can't get one, I will take living.
Living.
That's my choice.
Now, we don't need to sit here and talk about the right and these fringe groups of white supremacists.
We can simply talk here about the left fringe group of white supremacists.
But I don't think it's even fair to say fringe because they control so many powerful institutions and have basically a stranglehold on, like, NBC News.
Let me tell you the reality of what these people want and why I oppose in every facet this anti-white, anti-white racism that we're seeing that they call diversity.
Was that what Elon Musk said?
Let me tell you.
Reward them if they hit their DEI targets.
Okay.
I grew up in a family where I have, as I mentioned, mixed race, and my dad's white.
And I have seen these things hurt my family.
Because the assumption that my dad receives is that you're a white man, so you're privileged.
So he gets knocked back based on affirmative action.
And in the meantime, in the reality, we're a upper-lower class family, as I like to describe it.
Like, we weren't living in the gutter, but we were by no means rich.
We were putting on the writs of the poor people on the south side of Chicago.
You know, whatever that means.
Family of five.
Lost the house due to bankruptcy.
But tried to start a business.
You know, going for that American dream.
And so here I am.
Supposedly, this is what we strive for in this country.
Love has no race.
You can love whoever you want, they say.
Well, sure enough, when my family comes into existence, my dad, a good dude who just loves who he loves, is told, you're going to be held back based on these diversity policies.
And what happens then?
The mixed-race families take the hit.
Makes no sense, does it?
What are you supposed to do?
Apply and be like, I married a person of the other race?
That's the stupidest thing ever.
The reality is that these programs that we see from the left are actually creating destabilization.
Segregation.
The end result of this is going to be the incentive to keep all of the races separate.
That's literally what the left is advocating for when they say white-only spaces... I'm sorry, they call it non-POC spaces when they make their whites-only spaces.
They've done this on numerous occasions.
Or when they do POC spaces.
Of course, we can always just point out our good friend, Ryan Long, who made that massively viral video of woke and racist being best friends, because they agree on basically everything.
But let me tell you where we're currently at.
Again, I'll stress this point.
I don't think it is absolute that diversity is causing the problem.
I think diversity, equity, inclusion programs create a perverse incentive system which will cause failures.
I believe it's fair to say that any company that prioritizes political ideology over meritocracy will suffer.
But I do think a large component is COVID lockdowns.
I don't think we should ignore that.
A lot of our experts quit.
You know what's crazy?
I was reading about the Apollo moon landings.
Uh-oh.
I hear Alex Stein screaming.
Anyway, and the average age of the people working that was like in their mid-20s.
And today, the average age of a NASA employee is like their 40s.
I think it was like the average age of a NASA employee back then was like their 20s.
Where's the skill?
Dude, I look at TikTok.
I look at these attacks on our younger generations, and what do we have?
We got a whole lot of successful influencers.
But man, where are our successful engineers and our great feats?
It's been a long time coming that this country has prioritized rock and roll, movies, music, sports, video games, etc.
and ignored going to the moon.
I don't mean literally, but things like that.
So where we're at now is, when the older people retire from, say, the FAA or from Boeing or these other companies, the younger guys who inherit this do not have the same level of skill, and there's not the same level of expertise, because many of those people are retired.
There could be a young hotshot who's the best, the best, the best there's ever been, but there's one of him where there used to be ten pretty good engineers.
And this means, as these companies start to say, we better bring in top talent who can do these jobs, well that means for us what we need is the best of the best to be brought back.
We need to find young talent, bring them in, get in those jobs.
Instead, what do we get?
Oh boy!
Diversity initiatives!
Where instead of hiring the best person, they're going to hire the minority-est person.
That doesn't bode well for us.
United Airlines jet is forced to make emergency landing after door lights started flashing, but takes off again just hours later.
Who would want to be on that plane?
Here's a funny story for you guys.
When we were... We had two problems.
When we were flying, we flew on Alaska Airlines.
One of the things that happened was that we were boarded on the plane, and we got told we were going to be delayed due to a mechanical issue.
One of the jets was not starting.
I kid you not.
And I didn't think anything of it.
I was just like, I've been on a bunch of planes.
I used to work for, I worked for American Eagle Airlines, which is AA Regional out of O'Hare.
It happens.
You know, you just gotta, you gotta get it going.
Engine's fine.
And the engine was fine.
We flew.
We're just fine.
And then on the way back, I almost had to book a different flight from Seattle because we got told that the back of the planes, this is the crazy thing, they said, we need a tail stand.
And I was like, you know, I've never heard of a tail stand before.
And I used to work at an airport, but I guess far be it for me to know.
I mean, maybe they've been around for a long time.
They said as we start to board these planes, they get too heavy in the back and they'll tip backwards.
So they have to put a metal bar from the tail of the ground.
And I'm like, okay, maybe that's normal.
Fine.
But then we were told there was another mechanical issue which was gonna result in a delay.
The coffee maker was broken.
I don't believe them.
I mean, maybe that's the case.
But one of the dudes walked up to one of the agents and, like, whispered in her ear.
And then she had this look on her face, and I was like, I don't know.
And I was like, I'm looking at flying on a different airline.
We ended up flying back.
We made it back just fine.
And then a couple days later, we heard a section of a plane blew off in midair.
And we had flown on an Alaskan Air 737 MAX 9 and MAX 8, I think.
So we flew on one of those same planes and had mechanical issues.
Yo.
I don't know if this guy's right or wrong.
Maybe they just want to scare you into thinking it's going to happen so that you stop flying, you work remote, and then it's part of the climate agenda.
But I'll tell you, we've got other crazy videos where I think it loops all this together, because Elon Musk is also talking about illegal immigration, in which case you start to see that this idea of great replacement, which they're accusing Elon Musk of spreading, these migrant centers and diversity initiatives do mean that not only will there be substantially less white people in the future, Whatever that means.
But it means there's going to be substantially less white people in the workforce, even with the same population levels.
It's all just weird, isn't it?
Well, I hope you fly safe.
We're, of course, out here in Iowa.
We'll be flying back on Monday.
It's been a rough ride, but we're going to make it work.
And more to come.
The next segment's coming up at 4 p.m.
on this channel.
Thank you all so much for hanging out, and I will see you all next time.
Now everybody has an opportunity to say Michael Malice was right.
He's been right about a lot of things.
In this one, many people are saying he's right about John Fetterman.
Because Fetterman's been saying some pretty base things, I guess.
Well, what I would refer to is, Fetterman says he's a Democrat who suffered the stroke.
He said that there was a crisis at the southern border, and he says, I don't know how anybody could pretend there isn't.
He also was very defensive of Israel at a time when you have many Democrats terrified over what the pro-Palestinian leftists are going to say.
Fetterman seems to just be his own guy.
And I've thought this of him, that he's going to come out to be like, he's going to try and be this working class, blue collar Democrat type, which we don't really see that much of anymore.
But in the latest news, In a speech about, I suppose he's talking about Israel, he alludes to the genocide of white farmers in South Africa.
Now, I am a reasonable man, and I can argue, counterpoint, perhaps he's referring to apartheid, but he says something's going on now.
The story is this.
South Africa issued a statement about Israel.
Israel is going to be sued at the International Criminal Court, something to this effect.
And John Fetterman decided to criticize South Africa for genocide.
And everyone immediately went, what?
John Fetterman, are you implying that there is a genocide currently taking place in South Africa?
Now, look, man.
Call me biased or whatever, but in my bias, I'm like, he has to be talking about apartheid, right?
But the way he phrases it and breaks it down, I don't know that is accurate.
I think John Fetterman is absolutely alluding to the genocide of farmers in South Africa right now.
And there's, let me play this clip for you, but this is a really funny meme, where it's like, this is the perfect making of a movie, a politician gets hit in the head, and then all of a sudden starts actually supporting the people.
Here's the clip, Ian Miles Chong says, incredible, John Fetterman referenced South Africa's genocide of white farmers, telling them to sit it out when it comes to their condemnation of Israel.
unidentified
Who are we, who are they really fighting?
It's a group of cowards, they hide in tunnels, They hide behind civilians?
They attack, kill, and mutilate children?
Women?
tim pool
That's true.
unidentified
And they do that?
Stop talking about proportion on that.
They shot their best shot on October 7th, and they would have taken more lives if they couldn't do that, but they couldn't do it.
tim pool
I'd say he's right.
And real quick, to the point about Michael Malz being right is that Michael Malz was saying yes to Fetterman.
Fetterman's the guy who's better than Oz.
I think, however, to be fair, Michael Malice's point was that it's better to have a man with brain damage than your typical politician.
But if the narrative is that John Fetterman suffers the stroke and then decides to actually start being honest and doing the right thing, how about that?
unidentified
Let's also talk about that.
Now we're talking about genocide.
And now South Africa is now bringing that kind of a trial.
Maybe South Africa being able to sit this one out when they're talking about criticizing the US.
Sit it out.
Let's do it.
tim pool
Let's just shut it again.
unidentified
And now let's also talk about that.
Now we're talking about genocide.
And now South Africa now is bringing that kind of a trial.
tim pool
Now South Africa is now bringing that to, what do you say, to trial or something like this?
See the challenge is... Let me keep playing.
unidentified
South Africa being able to sit this one out when they're talking about genocide.
tim pool
So, here's why the only thing that really makes sense is he's talking about the white farmers.
He may come out later and be like, oh no, I misspoke, I meant something else.
The criticism of Israel and Gaza, perhaps, and this is fair, I should say this is fair, perhaps he's arguing apartheid.
And he's saying basically that Israel has this group of people that are in Gaza, and Israel has a lot of control over this.
Don't forget, Egypt does as well.
Couldn't do it.
And now let's also talk about that.
Now we're talking about genocide.
that in South Africa, a small minority population, you know, pushed all of the black folk out
through segregation, but that wasn't genocide.
So I don't know what he would be implying there.
And then when he says South Africa is now, right?
Let me play this again for you.
unidentified
Couldn't do it.
And now let's also talk about that.
Now we're talking about genocide.
And now South Africa now is now bringing that kind of a trial.
tim pool
So what is it, bringing it to trial?
What does he mean?
He says, let's talk about it now, because South Africa is now bringing that to trial.
I got to be honest, everybody wants it to be about white genocide, like the farmers that are being killed.
Here's the issue.
I'm going to put it this way.
Again, you know, I want to have that bias where I'm like, I do not believe a sitting Democrat senator would actually claim that the farmers are being genocided.
I mean, come on, Democrats doing that?
So I just kind of feel like he's got to be talking about Apartheid.
But Apartheid wasn't genocide, it was segregation.
So what is he talking about?
Maybe he's just saying sit this one out because you have a bad past.
Fine.
In the end, all that matters is that the message people hear is the message of genocide in South Africa.
And if I'm to make no assumptions about what he meant, without clarification, then the only relevant context he has is that there is a claim against South Africa that they are calling for white genocide.
I should say, the politicians are doing it.
Look, you've got these politicians in South Africa chanting things, singing the song, Kill the Bower.
It means kill the farmer.
Then they go and kill farmers.
And then the corporate press goes, no, that's just an old protest song.
I'm like, they're literally killing farmers while singing Kill the Farmer.
So if Federman wants to come out and say that, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say Fetterman, perhaps, is alluding to a genocide of white farmers in South Africa.
It's just hard to believe, isn't it?
But then you see a story like this from Real Clear Politics.
Federman says there is a crisis at the border. I don't know how anybody could pretend there isn't.
I mean, that's just it. He's right.
It's like a very serious crisis at the border.
We've got this video from New York of a dude breaking in to a migrant facility.
I mean, these people are given way more resources than American homeless people.
We have such a tremendous crisis at the border.
Where's this James O'Keefe clip I have?
I think I have it.
Here we go.
Is this James O'Keefe?
James O'Keefe, high speed migrant bus chase.
You know, you've got James O'Keefe following these buses, engaging in human trafficking, and they swerve.
This video is nuts.
If you haven't seen it, you need to go to James O'Keefe on Twitter and watch this video.
These buses are, like, swerving onto exit ramps and then shifting back on the highway, trying to desperately lose a pair of journalists who are filming them.
And then at one point, it's really, really funny, James points out, like, the guy gets out and starts filming him.
He ends up going to the airport and these cops are like, what's going on?
You've got these companies facilitating human trafficking.
And let me tell you, man, we already have, the DOJ had announced this several years, four years ago, five years ago, a couple of US soldiers, I believe they were soldiers, were criminally charged for transporting illegal aliens.
Tell me the difference.
Tell me why you, bus driver, think you will not be held criminally liable for transporting illegal immigrants.
Is it because your boss told you to do it?
That's funny.
If your boss told you to go mug somebody, you think you'd go to jail?
You would.
So why would this be any different?
More to the point.
Back to our good friend, John Fetterman.
Is that his name?
John Fetterman, that's right.
Oh, good old John Fetterman!
Look, man.
Maybe, uh, maybe it's the story of a guy who got bonked on the head?
And he turned things around?
And I guess that would make Michael Malice's right.
Or this guy, his play is to be a more moderate Democrat.
I'll take it.
And it makes sense.
You know, people try to make fun of him for a lot of things.
And I kept warning Trump supporters.
I'm like, dude, he's wearing the hoodie for a reason.
They made fun of his neck and his appearance and all of these things.
And I'm like, you're not going to win.
You're not going to win conflict, political conflict, by doing those things, man.
Federman is the guy wearing the shorts and the hoodie.
There are a lot of people that said, you know, because he didn't want to wear this stuff when he was in the Senate, in Congress, and people on the right said that it was a loss of decorum.
I don't know why suits are the mandate anyway.
It's a culture, a custom, it's tradition that I understand.
But what is the threshold that we determine this is the particular style?
Is there a different style of suit you can wear?
So I'm not a big fan of dress codes.
But just because I'm not a fan of dress codes doesn't mean I accept anybody dressing informally like Fetterman was doing.
That being said, the warning I gave to everybody was, if you attack Federman from the right in this way, you will lose.
He's coming off to the average person in a similar way that Trump did, as a regular guy who's here to fight for you.
You cannot besmirch that and win.
You're trying to win the votes of regular people, he's passing himself off as a regular person, and you're insulting regular people?
This is the Donald Trump steak problem all over again.
Donald Trump ordered a 30-day dry-aged steak well done with ketchup.
It's so... You know, it's really funny because it's just so awful.
But that's what the media did.
They laughed at Trump.
They mocked him.
And you see, you know, when I was growing up, we didn't always get to eat the fillets.
Sometimes we'd get a T-bone from the local grocery store for a couple bucks, and you got what you got.
And when it was cooked, it wasn't medium rare or well done because they're not great steaks.
But my family was not rich, so we ate what we ate.
My mom and dad, they did a good job.
Pepper and salt, but we'd schlop some ketchup on that.
It's funny, right?
Ketchup on steak.
I could not imagine going to a steakhouse and doing that.
Well, Donald Trump did.
And I'll tell you why.
Because there are a lot of regular people in this country who live paycheck to paycheck.
They order the steaks they can order.
And I'm not saying everybody's a slack-jawed yokel who does not cook a steak.
But for a lot of people, they can't buy even the great steak.
Now think about this.
I'm certainly not stupid enough to realize that a poor person can eventually buy a nice steak at various points by steak and cook it properly.
But some people just like cooking their steak well done and slopping some ketchup on it.
In the right circumstances, I'm totally down with that.
I mean, look, I like beef.
I like beef with ketchup.
I like cheeseburgers.
If I get a cheeseburger, I like it medium rare.
But if I get a burger with some ketchup on it, I ain't complaining.
When they make fun of Trump, what Trump's play here is they're making fun of you.
That's what I got to say about Fetterman, man.
You got to be careful.
He's this guy with the, you know, he's got the Steeler's hat on.
He's got the hoodie.
And when he gets mocked by suit wearing conservatives like, oh, God, look at this ghastly outfit, regular people and feel like, what's wrong with his outfit, man?
I dress that same way.
Why are you making fun?
I dress that way.
Am I dressed wrong?
Do I got to dress like you?
You get it.
Anyway, you tell me what you think about what Fetterman had to say.
I don't know if he was talking about white farmer genocide, but interesting nonetheless.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment is coming up at 6 p.m.
on this channel.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
Elon Musk apparently all but endorses the Great Replacement Conspiracy Theory.
Uh-huh.
Well, Vivek Ramaswamy, speaking at a town hall with, uh, where was this?
Was this the CNN town hall?
No, no, this was the debate.
He said the Great Replacement isn't a conspiracy theory, but Democrat policy.
And he is telling you the truth.
Now, what does it really mean, Great Replacement?
It depends on who you ask.
The Rolling Stone, right here, rollingstone.com, is likely going to try and convince you that Great Replacement means that Jewish people are trying to facilitate the replacement of white people.
I'm sorry, my friends, that is a very stupid idea, and it's a misdirection.
When people refer to Great Replacement, they can be referring to a variety of things.
It's entirely possible someone could be referring to some weirdo conspiracy where they think Jews are doing everything, because I get tagged in these things all the time, and I'm like, first of all, I'm not Jewish, nor am I paid by anybody who is.
We have friends who are Jewish.
You know, more power to them.
But they love these conspiracies.
So some people may refer to that, but it's not the majority of people.
Many others may refer to Democrat policy where you've had the likes of Van Jones say, we are asking white people to become the minority.
And they actually talk about demographic change as a means of securing Democrat voters in the future.
OK, that being said, that's true.
But some people don't even go that far.
Some people just view replacement, the Great Replacement, as the fact that the southern border is porous and white people don't have babies.
It's really that simple.
Well, my friends, Elon Musk has a tweet.
Data Hazard on Axe tweeted, American births versus illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigrants now outpaces American births.
That trend continues.
This country eventually becomes more non-citizen than citizen.
Maybe becomes naturalized citizen versus natural born citizens.
But Elon Musk tweeted, almost no one seems to be aware of the immense size and lightning growth of this issue.
According to the mayors, it is already overwhelming essential services in New York, Chicago and other cities.
How is that endorsing Great Replacement?
Rolling Stone says, Elon Musk, an immigrant from South Africa, kicked off 2024 with a slew of tweets attacking Biden over immigration, blah blah blah, viewing them as future Dem voters.
Since the end of December, Musk has left a graph, pinned to the top of his profile, that claims to show how more migrants are now arriving at the southern border than there are babies being born to American mothers.
Almost no one seems to be aware of the immense size and lightning growth of the issue.
And what does that mean?
What does that mean?
Why is that the Great Replacement?
This notion, according to the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a political advocacy group that combats extremism, holds that the national identities of Western nations are under threat due to increasing immigrant populations.
Related narratives concern fears of declining birth rates among whites.
Musk has warned of population collapse if people don't start having more babies, though demographers have dismissed this likelihood.
which in tandem with fears of non-white immigration have allowed far-right extremists to paint a false
picture of the unfolding, quote, white genocide. They say Musk has also dabbled in this conspiracy
theory. Well, far be it for me to ignore your citation. Let's pull it up. Uh-oh, we can't read
it. The Washington Post does not want us to read. But the article is titled, Elon Musk Raises the
Specter of White Genocide.
I gotta be honest, I bet it is complete and total BS, and Elon Musk did no such thing, but they're exaggerating.
Over the weekend, the Economic Freedom Fighters, a far-left South African political party... Ah, here we go!
We'll wrap this one up neatly with a little bow, including John Fetterman.
Okay.
Rolling Stone is a bunch of crackpot activists, as exemplified by this, because it is a fact.
December 20th, 2023.
Immigration drives.
Second consecutive year of U.S.
population growth, Census Bureau reveals.
Now, of course, we have this tweet in question showing illegal immigrants outpace American births.
But does that really even matter, my friends?
Because the real issue is that immigration in general is driving population growth, not American births.
This means that when you combine illegal With legal, there are more immigrants coming to the United States than there are Americans being born to American families.
Of course, you need to understand the exponential issue that we face in this regard.
If immigrants are having children in this country, they will have communal ties with their parents and less with their home country.
And I'm not saying that to be a dick, but it's just a fact.
People care about their families.
Look, where's your grandma from?
If your grandmother is in a different country right now, you're going to be concerned about what happens there.
A lot of people criticize Ben Shapiro because he cares so deeply about Israel.
I actually tremendously respect that Ben Shapiro cares deeply about Israel and his family and friends who live there.
And I will also point out, it's not an argument of quote-unquote dual loyalty to point out people care about their families.
So, one of the anti-Semitic attacks that they target Ben Shapiro with is the dual loyalty thing because he cares about where his extended family is.
That being said, loyalty to a nation is completely immaterial.
Vivek HQ, he's got on his great truths, he's got the nuclear family.
I'm actually reading right here.
The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
If you're born in this country and you have kids, And those kids have kids.
Those grandkids are going to care about their family.
And they're going to say, whatever policies we enact in this country matters because it'll affect my family.
Now, what if half your family lives in Mexico?
The policies you'll be concerned about, of course, are going to be policies between the U.S.
and Mexico.
Well, my grandfather lives in Tijuana, and I'd love for him to be able to visit, but it's hard for him to get a visa.
These laws matter to me.
When Donald Trump says X, Y, or Z as it pertains to the southern border, I'm concerned because I want to see my grandfather.
I respect that.
That's not dual loyalty.
That's concern for your family.
Now, if the person was, like, actually working for the military of a foreign government, man, there's questions to be had about that.
But in this instance, What we are seeing with massive immigration growth in this country and illegal immigration is that we will come to a point where instead of a group of people living in a city voting for their city, they're going to vote for a different country.
And what I mean by that is, if you have a hundred people who are fourth or fifth generation citizens, denizens, whatever, of a city, and a bill comes up saying, how should we spend our money?
These people are going to say, ah, you remember the old mill?
I remember when I was a kid, I used to see the old mill.
And it's sad to see it destroyed.
It's fallen apart with time.
It's been abandoned.
I say we take our surplus and rebuild it.
Put up a plaque and a sign so we can teach our children about the industry we once had in this town where we would mill grains and trade them and sell them.
Everyone else who lives there goes, that's a great idea.
I too remember seeing the old mill when I was a kid.
And it's sad to see it in disrepair.
The surplus revenues that they have, either through taxation or whatever, go towards revitalizing the old mill, putting up a plaque, and making a landmark.
A museum.
Something to remind these people of who they are and where they come from.
And in the future, when no one actually uses windmills, and they can grind wheat up very easily, probably in their home blender, they can say, that's what we used to do, and who we used to be.
Let's go back in time.
The old mill is in disrepair.
Only this time, 40% of the people who live there are not from there at all.
Let's say they're still American.
They move there, and one person says, I want the old mill to be fixed.
A bunch of other people say, I remember the old mill.
And the people who aren't from there be like, who cares about an old mill?
We should build a water park.
Like, let's actually build some attractions.
Let's build a new shopping center.
A mall.
Let's attract tourism.
Hey, not all bad.
Let's build up industry.
I get it.
But now, the old mill is in dispute.
And that amazing legacy may be forgotten.
But eventually they say, listen, this matters to us.
And they agree.
Now let's try this one again.
Half of the population are immigrants from other countries.
And they say we want to revitalize this old mill.
And then one guy stands up and says, And all of his friends from the same country, half the population, agree.
Our surplus revenue.
money there.
And all of his friends from the same country, half the population, agree.
Our surplus revenue, welcome to democracy.
Now you're in dispute over whether or not to fix up your hometown and revitalize your
landmarks or send money to a foreign country.
That is what is happening in the United States right now.
And it's not just that.
There may not even be a surplus.
Because the people who move here, and I respect this, want to send money back to their families.
It's a good thing you care about your family.
Someone moves to America, they make money, Wire it right back to their home country.
That money leaves the community, and the community needs to find ways to bring money in.
I love this idea of the local currencies.
You may be familiar with the Ithaca Hour.
I believe it's mostly fallen out of use.
It's sad.
But there's something about a currency they can't leave that matters.
As long as everyone agrees the currency has value as a trade medium and it represents labor, then if you're in a small town of 100 people and you make your own currency, that currency never goes anywhere, the trade can keep happening.
But what happens when you go to a national currency and someone takes that national currency and sends it somewhere else and now there's no money to trade with?
If you can't just print the money, because the federal government or the Fed does, then what do you do?
This is why I like the idea of local currencies, but as an aside, the point here is, these small towns will suffer because of this mass migration.
They're going to suffer because money will be shipped away.
They're going to suffer because the people who move in won't vote for the same things as that community.
And there's something lost there, and it's quite sad.
A lot of people talk about global homogenization, and that worries me.
I don't like that idea.
The reason why is that I like diversity.
Yeah, they don't.
I like the idea that I can go to New Orleans and experience New Orleans, and it's what it is.
One of the last few unique places, but sure enough, One by one, Starbucks will move in, you know?
When I went to Nassau in the Bahamas, I was really excited, like, oh, this will be interesting.
And what did I find?
Hard Rock Cafe, Starbucks, et cetera.
That's homogenization, and that's vomitous and gross.
If we just take all the people of the world and mix them all up and shake them in a big shaker and then drop them, we're going to get a bunch of the exact same stuff everywhere, and there will be no spice of life.
They say diversity is the spice of life.
The idea being that you can go to Japan and experience Japanese culture.
You can go to Spain and enjoy Spanish culture.
I love it.
That's the real diversity.
But with all of these different people from all over the world coming to the United States, everyone's going to vote for their interests.
Eventually, you're going to get this just mass homogenization because with the mass voting of all these different groups from all over the place, you'll get lowest common denominator.
I'll give you an example.
Comedy in this country, George Carlin.
He gets up on stage and he says, you know, here are the words you can't say, and everyone in America understands the humor because it's part of their culture.
Now what we're getting online are these videos of gag comedy with no words.
No one speaks.
Why?
It's called Lowest Comedy Dominator.
When everyone speaks a different language, but you want to maximize revenue, make a visual gag comedy show.
Ow my balls.
That's not literally what they're making.
They're making funny gags where, like, a guy replaces someone's car and then he comes out and goes, oh, but no one says a word.
But we're seriously entering the era of out my balls.
Universally funny.
A guy got punched in the balls.
I love it.
Elon Musk is not all but embracing endorsing great replacement theory.
He's highlighting a real fact-based phenomenon which has people concerned.
Rightly so.
I hope you vote.
I'll leave it there.
