Paul Pelosi ATTACK Footage RELEASED, Insane Video Raises MORE Questions About Depape, SUPER WEIRD

Paul Pelosi ATTACK Footage RELEASED, Insane Video Raises MORE Questions About Depape, SUPER WEIRD. Video Shows Paul Holding a glass and the hammer with Depape as both answer the door together. The oddity can be answered by saying Depape is simply insane but it seems like a catch all explanation is a stretch. The 911 call does lend itself more to Pelosi's story but still seems odd. Nancy Pelosi and family reportedly held an exorcism of the house after the attack for some strange reason and Depape's son previously said his dad may have been a slave. Today is January 27th, 2023, and our first story.
The body camera footage in the Paul Pelosi attack has been released, and it raises more questions than it answers.
The video is weird.
Paul Pelosi is holding a drink.
He answers the door.
Both men are standing there.
The 911 call was also released, and it just raises more questions.
Let's break it down.
In our next story, the National Guard is being activated, as riots are expected in Atlanta.
In our next story, A far-left terrorist who firebombed a police vehicle gets one year in jail as the judge praises him.
We got a bunch more.
But if you like the show, give us a good review, leave us five stars, and share the show with your friends.
Now, let's get into that first story.
The police have released body camera footage from the Paul Pelosi attack as well as the 9-1-1 call.
And in my opinion, having watched both and will go through them, I do not believe we have answered sufficiently any of the questions as to what actually happened.
You can't actually see the attack on camera.
You can see DePap raise a hammer.
I think the video raises more questions about what happened that night, and it's very strange.
In fact, many people are responding to this.
Well, I should say.
The theory for some time among many of the more conservative-leaning groups is that Paul Pelosi was having some kind of gay love romp that went sour, and the police came to respond, and it went south.
I think based on the statements made, based on how Paul Pelosi is talking to the police, he's either drugged up or drunk.
Drunk may actually be the simple answer because in the video, he's holding some kind of drink.
I don't know that he's drinking.
I assume based on the history of the Pelosi's, he probably was drunk, which made this very difficult for him to deal with.
If the story is simply that a guy broke into his house and the dude was night drunk and didn't know what to do because he was drunk, the story kind of starts to make sense.
But outside of that, the idea that Paul Pelosi just had a guy walk into his house, which was like what, unsecured with no security and no cameras and nothing, And then he's just calling the police, confused, like, I think I called you by mistake.
This guy's waiting for my wife.
I mean, I'll play for you the entirety of the 911 call, and you'll decide.
But there's other things of this story that need to be addressed.
One.
David DePap has pleaded not guilty.
We saw that.
This is the guy.
They said he attacked Paul Pelosi.
You can see him on camera, but you don't actually see the attack.
You just see him raise the hammer, and then you hear screaming.
And I'm not going to show anything graphic, mind you.
So he's pleaded not guilty.
The son of DePap says he's not right-wing, and for all we know, he was a sex slave.
And then if you think the story just stops being weird there, you're wrong, because apparently the Pelosi's brought in priests to perform exorcisms in their house.
Okay, I don't know what to tell you, man.
This story is weird.
It's very weird.
Well, Mike Cernovich has given us his thoughts on what this is, and he said, you know, it's actually kind of simple.
Leftist policies in San Francisco leave us unsafe.
Fair point.
The evidence seems to corroborate Paul Pelosi's version of events.
If you want to be charitable, I would agree with that.
You listen to the 911 call, and you could maybe make the argument—I think it's, you know, probably fair—that Paul Pelosi was trying to alert the authorities as to what was going on without pissing off the intruder.
But here's where that breaks down.
While he's talking to 9-1-1, DaPap is standing next to him.
And he says, I don't know who this guy is.
And DaPap goes, I'm a friend.
And he goes, he's a friend.
What?
So hold on.
Paul Pelosi calls 911 and says, oh, there's a guy broken in my house.
He didn't even say that.
He says, there's a guy here waiting for my wife.
And DePappe is standing there with him?
Like, what?
How do you have an intruder in your house who's threatening you with a hammer, and they say, let me call 911 real quick.
And he goes, you got it, buddy.
And then you're talking to 911, and the guy's like, that's fine.
None of this makes sense.
And when the door opens, none of it makes sense.
Paul Pelosi's holding a drink, he's got one hand on a hammer, the other guy's got two hands on a hammer, and I'm like, WHO OPENED THE DOOR?!
And not only that, if Paul Pelosi opened the door, why doesn't he walk out to the cops who are standing there if he's concerned about a guy wielding a hammer who broke into his house?
Sorry.
None of this makes sense.
And I'm not simply going to be like, Paul Pelosi's story is perfect.
Nah.
You decide.

Let's get into this story.
TimCast.com reporting.
Breaking.
DaPap Pelosi body cam footage released.
DaPap appears to hit Pelosi over the head, though the attack is not in full view.
Let me pull up the video for you.
It says graphic.
Some of you have probably already seen it, but we're going to do a walkthrough of this.
Begad Shaban says, exclusive just released police body camera video shows moments David DePapp attacked Paul Pelosi at his San Francisco home.
Warning, video is graphic.
I am not going to show anything graphic.
Okay, just forewarned.
I'm not going to show anything graphic.
You can't actually see the attack take place.
I'm not going to play for you the full video.
I'm going to walk through what, to me, seems to make no sense.
So, let's see if we're getting, uh, we're getting audio properly on here.
I always have to make sure I do.
I always screw up the audio, but let's, uh, here we go, let's play.
Looks like there's no audio for now.
Let me make sure we got everything.
Woah, woah, yikes!
Sorry about that.
Alright, let's turn that volume down.
Here we go.
unidentified
Wait, wait, wait, what?
Definitely don't want all up here.
tim pool
Definitely don't want all up here?
I don't know what that means.
unidentified
Definitely don't want all up here.
tim pool
Definitely don't want all of you.
I think, at this point, he's walking to the front door.
I think he's referring to the police.
Like, they're like, should we come out?
He's like, definitely don't want all of you here.
Probably the cops.
Alright, here we go.
unidentified
Check this out.
They're knocking.
tim pool
Okay, who's this guy right here?
Is that another cop?
I think there's two cops.
Looks like probably another cop, or maybe... Yeah, looks like a police officer.
unidentified
Alright, so, uh... Let's play.
Alright, the door's opening.
tim pool
I'm gonna play it through, but then I'm gonna go back and play it again, and I want you to pay attention to some things.
I'll explain them for those that are just listening.
unidentified
The door opens.
tim pool
Paul Pelosi is standing there.
unidentified
there.
DaPap is standing there.
What's going on man?
Everything's good.
Hi.
Drop the hammer.
Um, nope.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
What is going on right now?
Sorry, I'm not getting any answer on this.
tim pool
Okay, you can't actually see the attack take place in a, I guess I should say, you can
see DaPap swing a hammer, but you don't see anything else.
You don't see Paul Pelosi get hit, you then see the cops run in, and they're on the ground.
I'm not going to show you that stuff.
People are saying, warning, it's graphic.
But I want to play this through again, and then I want to play through the 9-1-1 call, because I'm sorry.
I'm not saying the story's not true.
I'm just saying it's hard to understand how all of this went down.
So first, the cops come to the door.
When the door opens, I want you to notice something.
So the door opens, and we can see it slowly swing open.
unidentified
Okay.
tim pool
Who opened the door?
As soon as the door opens, you see David DePapp has both of his hands on a hammer.
Paul Pelosi has his right hand on the hammer, and in his left hand is some kind of drink.
Perhaps it's water.
I don't know.
I could assume he may be drunk.
Based on the 9-1-1 phone call, which I'll play in full, I think he was probably drunk, which explains a lot of this.
Dpat may be just crazy, which also explains a lot of this.
But here's a question I have.
The door opens, and Paul Pelosi is just standing there.
This is interesting.
When the story first came out and we heard what happened, my assumption was Paul Pelosi first, we heard that the cops came in, someone opened the door for him, they don't know who.
Did someone open the door?
Who's behind the door?
We can't see them?
I don't know.
Because I don't see any hands from these individuals to open the door and swing it.
Paul Pelosi's hand isn't there.
Who did it?
I have no idea.
I guess maybe it was one of them, we just can't tell.
The footage is hard to see.
So hold on.
You call the police because someone broke into your house.
The cops then show up.
They knock on your door.
You then walk up to the door with the guy who broke into your house, holding onto a hammer and a drink.
Open the door.
Perhaps he used his drink hand and it's a lever handle or something.
I really doubt it.
Front door is, I don't know, maybe it is.
Opens the door and swings it open while holding the hammer.
Then the cop says, what's going on?
And instead of walking out to the cops, you stand there in a stupor.
See, something doesn't make sense, and maybe it's simply alcoholism.
Now, why DiPap attacked this guy?
DiPap may just be a crazy guy, but I also wonder.
Because the argument I made before, and the media got all mad at me, the Democrat activist media, they were like, Tim Pool conspiracies.
I was like, drug dealer, I'm bad.

tim pool
See you on the tour.
Or, look.
Let me tell you about Alec Baldwin.
Remember when I said it doesn't make sense, the story they presented, that Alec Baldwin was doing this movie and then he pulled the gun and a bullet went off?
And I said, that requires assumptions.
And they can be true.
But I tell you, man, what are the odds?
Five coincidences and you win the lottery, right?
Or is it six?
Whatever, you get my point.
With Alec Baldwin, I said, it makes more sense that Alec Baldwin intentionally shot this woman, based on all of the circumstances around it, if you actually read the story, than it does that The armorer, who is supposed to be checking the guns and the bullets, accidentally put live rounds next to the gun, who then, the one expert, accidentally then gives that gun with loaded rounds to the AD, the Associate Director, Assistant Director, who doesn't check, then gives the gun to Alec Baldwin.
The gun malfunctions, because he said he didn't have his finger on the trigger, going off and shooting this woman, who Alec Baldwin was mad at.
And I'm like, come on, man!
I don't do the conspiracies!
Guess what?
The investigators found live ammunition in Alec Baldwin's gun belt.
Now do you get it?
I called, I said that.
I didn't literally say Alec Baldwin would have ammo on him.
I said it makes more sense that Alec Baldwin loaded the gun.
At this point, the evidence is Alec Baldwin had live ammo on him, had a live gun, is on camera with his finger on the trigger shooting a woman.
And now you want to argue to me it was one big circuitous mistake.
I'm sorry.
The simple solution is that Alec Baldwin had the live ammo, was fighting with this woman, but I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know if I'd convict based on that speculation.
As for the Paul Pelosi stuff, let's get back to the main story at hand.
My point is this.
I am simply saying, the story doesn't make sense as it was described in the press.
I don't know exactly what happened, but I would lean towards this.
This guy was a drug deal gone bad?
That's why he's not fleeing?
That's why he didn't want to call the police?
That's why we're where we are?
I don't know.
There's also a simple solution in that DePapp is a crazy guy and Pelosi was drunk.
Let's be honest.
But I will make these points again.
Both of their hands are on the hammer who opened the door.
Paul Pelosi's left hand is holding a drink.
At what point, when this man broke into his house, did he get up and fix himself a drink?
What is going on?
How did he walk to the door holding onto the hammer?
I don't know.
I can tell you this.
The explanation they've given us does not make sense.
Let me play for you now the full 9-1-1 call.
Make sure the volume is not cranked up like the last time so y'all don't get mad at me.
It says, warning.
The auto contains graphic content of a violent attack.
It doesn't, by the way.
Which might be disturbing to some viewers.
Discretion is advised.
It actually just has a light conversation between the 9-1-1 dispatch and Paul Pelosi.
unidentified
San Francisco Police, do you need help?
I guess I told them to say, what is this?
This is San Francisco Police, do you need help?
Oh, well there's a gentleman here just waiting for my wife to come back.
Nancy Pelosi.
tim pool
First, strange thing.
I must have called you by mistake.
Oh.
Do you need help?
There's a gentleman here waiting for my wife, Nancy Pelosi.
Now this actually lends evidence, in my opinion, in Pelosi's favor.
The story is that he's trying to alert the police to what's going on without agitating an intruder.
Makes sense.
That's why he said, my wife, Nancy Pelosi.
Let's listen more.
unidentified
He's just waiting for her to come back.
She's not going to be here for a day, so I guess we'll have to wait.
I think it's just weird.
tim pool
He's willing to call 911, tell them there's a guy here, and then when she says, do you need emergency, you know, police, fire, medical, or anything, I don't think so, I don't think so.
Maybe he just doesn't know how to respond.
Because he could have just said, yeah, yeah, maybe, you know, but I don't know.
I've heard these stories, and you've probably heard a lot of them too, where a woman will call a police department and she'll go, yes, I'd like to order a large pepperoni and a two liter of coke.
And they go, ma'am, you're talking to the police.
And she goes, yes, that's right.
And they'll say, ma'am, this is a police department, not a police station.
I believe you've called the wrong number.
And she goes, Uh, no, no, yeah, yeah, I understand.
And then the police say, ma'am, are you talking this way because there is someone threatening you and you can't alert them that you're calling the police?
Yes, that's correct.
And they say, what is your address?
Yes, so we'll do a large pepperoni and a coke, and that's 1, 2, 3, fake street, and they go, okay.
And the woman's doing this because if the abusive guy finds out she's calling the cops, he goes nuts.
That being said, maybe Paul just doesn't understand how to actually convey this?
He called the police in front of the guy?
Let's play more.
unidentified
more.
It sounded like he said, what do you think?
They're usually here at the house protecting my wife.
No, this is San Francisco Police.
Friday, October 28, 2022.
Okay, well, uh, I don't know. What do you think?
I think everything's good.
tim pool
He just asked David DePapa a question.
It sounded like he said, what do you think? Let me play it again.
unidentified
And what do you think?
tim pool
It sounds like he says, and what do you think?
But I'm not entirely sure he said that.
Then there's a muffled response.
It sounds like he says, and what do you think?
And the guy says, I'm thinking we're good.
That's just my, I'm trying to figure it out.
unidentified
I don't know if that's actually what's said.
tim pool
And he says he thinks everything's good.
So I think maybe that's what he just said.
unidentified
I've got a problem, but he thinks everything's good.
Okay.
He thinks everything's good.
I've got a problem, but he thinks everything's good.
Okay.
Call us back if you change your mind.
No, no, no.
This gentleman just came into the house.
And he wants to wait here for my wife to come home.
And so...
Do you know who the person is?
No, I don't know who he is.
He told me not to do anything.
What is your address, sir?
2640 Broadway.
What is your name?
He told me not to do anything. What is your address, sir?
2640 Broadway. What is your name? My name is Paul Pelosi.
Anyway, this gentleman said that he thinks everything ought to, you know, he told me to put the phone down and just do
what he said.
Okay?
Okay, who, what's the gentleman's name?
I don't know.
What's that?
My name's David.
The name is David.
Okay, and who is David?
I, I don't know.
What's that?
I'm a friend of theirs.
Yeah, I, I, um, he says he's a friend, but...
But you don't know who he is?
No, ma'am.
tim pool
So this adds important context to what we heard earlier.
He says, I don't know who he is, and then DePapp says, I'm a friend, and he goes, he says he's a friend, but I don't know who he is.
That explains a lot of the context we heard earlier, where people were like, why was he saying he was friends with this guy?
unidentified
Okay.
He's telling me I'm being very leading, so I gotta stop talking to you, okay?
Very leading?
Okay.
You sure?
I can stay on the phone with you just to make sure everything's okay.
No, he wants me to get that off the phone.
Okay.
Okay.
Thank you.
Okay.
tim pool
I got more questions than I got answers, to be completely honest.
But, the simple solution, the easy, unfortunately, kind of deus ex machina kind of thing here is that DaPap's crazy.
I mean, that's it.
I mean, we think he's crazy, right?
The problem is, saying he's crazy is a catch-all for all of the weird things that happen without actually explaining them.
So, I don't know.
I don't know.
What I do know is the Pelosi's are also crazy.
I mean, look, forgive me if you're someone who's performed an exorcism, but Yahoo.com.
Nancy Pelosi had priests attempt exorcism of her home after attack on husband, daughter says.
Former House Speaker Pelosi, a devout Catholic, had priests attempt an exorcism of her San Francisco home after the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi, her daughter said.
Pelosi's skull was fractured in October in a home invasion, and it continues to recover.
Now, I will say this.
I do not think this is a gay love romp.
Here's what I think is happening.
People on the right are saying the left smears us all day and night, so we're going to roll with that narrative because it's the worst and most demeaning.
Some people actually believe it.
I'm not saying no one believes it.
I don't think that makes the most sense.
I'll tell you what I think makes the most sense.
Do you believe, just like I was mentioning with the Alec Baldwin thing, That on this auspicious of nights, the Capitol Police were nowhere to be found.
There was no security.
There, uh, the Pelosi's had no security.
Their doors were, uh, well, we'll just say no security.
A man who has weird left-wing views and conspiracy views decides he's going to smash the window, break in, and then calmly and politely talk to Paul in the middle of the night about his wife coming home, allow Paul to call 911 and have the police arrive, but only actually take action against him When the police get there, that they're both standing at the front door holding a hammer, and that this guy allows Paul to fix himself a drink.
Let me just say that again.
He allows Paul Pelosi, this home invader, to call 911 and also make himself a drink.
I'll tell you what I think makes more sense.
Paul Pelosi invites a local drug dealer over.
He's a hippie, lefty guy.
He probably slings pot or whatever.
I've had people say, Tim, you're wrong.
Rich people have rich, classy drug dealers.
And I'm like, come on, man.
No, they don't.
Some do, sure.
Here's what I think makes the most sense, though I don't know it to be true.
Looking at all the details, I certainly think it's possible that a deranged conspiracy man off the internet went to the Pelosi's house the one time there happened to be no security, smashed through the window, came in, then, in his crazed stupor, let Paul Pelosi do whatever he wants, until finally, grabbed a hammer, and then hit him, but only after the police got there.
Let me just say that again.
Grabbed a hammer to attack Paul, but waited until the police arrived to watch it happen.
Come on, man.
It just doesn't make sense.
We can wipe it all away by saying the dude was crazy.
Here's what makes sense.
Paul Pelosi, it's late.
He's drinking.
He wants drugs.
He calls a local dealer.
The dealer comes over.
The dealer gets mad.
They start arguing.
Paul says, I'm not giving you the money, and he's like, you owe me the money.
He calls 911.
Paul Pelosi doesn't know what to say, because how do you report to the police a drug dealer is here angry that you won't pay him?
Paul Pelosi's not going to be like, I invited this guy over to sell me drugs.
He wants more money than I have.
I don't pay that much and I want the police to come.
Or how about, DePapp shows up at the request of Paul Pelosi.
Paul Pelosi says, how much for an eighth or whatever?
And he says, 50.
And he goes, what?
I'm not giving you 50?
And then he says, are you kidding?
I just came all the way out here.
And he goes, no, I'm not giving you 50.
That's not happening.
And he says, give me the 50 or I'm not leaving.
And he goes, I'll call the cops.
unidentified
I'll call.
tim pool
And what are you going to tell him?
You're going to tell him, I'll tell him you're here for my wife or something like that.
I'll tell him you're a MAGA guy.
Now look, I'm not saying that's true.
I'm just saying, in my mind, if I was looking at a roulette table and it had, Paul Pelosi drug deal goes wrong, and random guy breaks into the house, bypassing security, allows him to call the police, waits until the cops arrive to attack him, which happened in both scenarios, fine by the way, lets him fix himself a drink, I'd just be like, I'm not betting on that.
That's insane.
Something doesn't make sense.
And again, you come back and say, well, maybe they're all just crazy.
Fine.
Now, the son of DiPap may be crazy, too, who said to the press, for all we know, he was some sort of sex slave.
I don't know if I believe that.
We do know that DiPap is pleading not guilty.
And I will also add, my friends, you cannot see in the video the attack actually take place.
Simply put, when it comes to evidence, you can see what looks to be an attack, but you can't actually see physical contact.
You see DePapp, he bends the hammer so that Paul can't hold on and lets go.
You then see him swing, but Paul's out of view.
You then see Paul on the ground.
I am not trying to argue the attack didn't happen.
I'm saying you can't see it clearly.
What they'll have to do is show the injuries to Paul's head, the medical records, and that video, and then a reasonable person would conclude it did take place.
I'm just saying.
Simple fact, you don't see it.
That's reported in the news.
So again, I don't know what's gonna happen.
I don't know what did happen.
I don't know why that man was there.
They ran with the narrative right before the midterm elections that a MAGA guy attacked Paul Pelosi.
It's interesting, isn't it?
And then he's on the phone standing next to him while he's talking to the police.
That just doesn't make any sense.
DePapp's a crazy guy who was trying to attack Pelosi, settles for the husband, lets him call the cops?
I just don't quite understand.
There's some possibilities.
Perhaps, Paul Pelosi said, Nancy's not here.
He says, where is she?
Well, I have to call the Capitol Police and ask them where Nancy is.
And he said, fine, call them, ask them where she is.
That's a possibility.
You know what I don't like doing, though?
I don't like trying to stretch to find out to make something make sense.

tim pool
I don't like saying, well, this doesn't add up.
What would make it add up?
I don't like doing that.
What I'm saying in terms of a drug deal gone wrong is, what makes sense, drug deal gone wrong.
What doesn't make sense is why any of this happened in another context.
That being said as well, the crazy thing also can make sense.
I'm not saying it doesn't.
I'm just saying it seems to me very much less likely.
And the reason for that is, Paul Pelosi holding a beverage in his hand while they're about to fight.
He's like fighting over a hammer.
Why didn't Paul drop the drink?
Why didn't he drop the drink and put his other hand on the hammer and stop it?
I don't understand.
This just doesn't make any sense.
So don't come to me.
No.
Further, the cops open the door and say, drop the hammer.
And he's like, uh, no.
So Paul Pelosi is standing there with police right there fearing for his safety from because of this home invasion doesn't immediately jump out to the cops just stands there confused looking doesn't drop his drink and grab the hammer
Sorry, I'm not doing it.
It just doesn't make sense, okay?
Maybe truth is stranger than fiction.
Maybe it really went down the way they said it did, and we just can't expect reality to fall into what we think it's gonna fall into.
Whatever.
Cernovich says, Paul Pelosi is the end result of alcoholism.
As alcoholics get older, they end up with sketchier people and situations.
This is the way it ends.
There's no good ending.
The fun ends quickly.
Sobriety is the way, and today is the day.
Maybe what happened is that Paul Pelosi was already drinking and he's drunk and he gets into an issue with this guy he let in his house.
As for the smashed window, I don't know.
Glasses on both sides.
He could have hit it and then knocked the glass out on both sides.
Home invasion is also entirely possible.
But let me just stress this, my friends.
The police opened the door.
Paul Pelosi has one hand on the hammer and a drink!
Why didn't he use the glass and bash it over DePap's head?
There's a man invading his home, they claim, holding a hammer.
Paul is also holding it.
Paul won't drop the drink and grab the hammer.
Paul won't use the glass to attack DePap.
Paul won't walk out to the police.
Could he have been inebriated?
Okay.
Potential.
Paul Pelosi was drunk.
Honestly, I have no idea.
when DaPap showed up.
And so he's just shaking like, I don't know what's going on here,
unidentified
I've been drinking, what is it?
tim pool
And in that stupor, DaPap is thinking, what's he gonna do?
Honestly, I have no idea.
I just know that this doesn't really make a lot of sense.
Cernovich says, if Paul Pelosi isn't safe in his home, who is?
Nancy Pelosi was mayor of San Francisco.
Her heir, Gavin Newsom, is governor.
They've had their run of California in the country.
How has that worked?
The wealthy live in delusion.
No one is safe once you allow terror.
He says Scalise, like Paul Pelosi, was attacked by a crazed left-wing lunatic.
If Scalise supported policies allowing terror on the streets, as Pelosi does, my opinion would be different.
And finally, he says the evidence corroborates Pelosi's claims.
Sketchy situation resulting from left-wing policies allowing sanctuary for criminals.
My hope is this is a reality moment for Democrats.
No one is safe once you release and unleash the zombies.
It's not.
Sorry, man.
It's not.
They did an exorcism on the house.
Was the pap a demon?
Was he possessed?
Do they know something we don't know about what happened that night?
Why would you do an exorcism?
I just think none of it makes sense.
And the exorcism only makes things a whole lot worse.
So, uh... Sure.
By all means, just pooh-poohed away and say, I don't care.
It happened exactly as they said it did.
But I think this.
If I was the defense attorney for DePap, those questions I asked are legitimate questions the jury is going to have to wonder on.
Now, don't get me wrong, they're going to see a video of DePap grabbing the hammer, raising it back, and swinging it.
But depending on the charges levied against him—home invasion—DePap says he's invited in.
I'm not saying he did.
I'm saying, will he?
Will he say I was invited in?
If he does, you're going to have a hard time explaining a lot of what happened.
He's going to make the argument that he was invited in, and he's friends.
He even said he was friends.
I would ask the jury, look, you can see the attack happen on camera.
You're probably in a bad position to argue that didn't happen.
The jury is going to watch that, and even though you can't see the physical contact, you see him swing the hammer.
You'll see the medical reports.
Fair assessment.
I think it's fair to say that Pap attacked him.
You just don't see it on camera.
However, the question is why?
And I wonder what answer DePappe is going to have because he is pleading not guilty.
For what reason?
Maybe he'll argue that he was being held there.
He can argue a lot of things.
I mean, it's hard to believe those things.
But the one thing I can tell you is that reasonable doubt is the standard by which people get found not guilty.
And if the defense says, my question for you, If Paul Pelosi truly believed that this man was attacking him or threatening him, why didn't he try and grab the hammer?
Like with two hands.
Why didn't he go to the police?
Why did he just stand there?
Why was he holding a drink?
His story doesn't add up.
And that is reasonable doubt.
Doubts that I have.
So I tell you this.
If you came to me as a juror and said, we're charging DePapp with home invasion, attempted murder, unlawful detainment, blah, blah, blah, I'd say, not gonna happen.
Sorry, not happening.
I have a high standard.
I'd say, I don't know enough about what happened.
If you came to me and said, okay, how about just attempted murder?
I'd say, nope.
There's a video of him attacking, I don't know why he's attacking him.
I have no idea.
If you came and said something like, aggravated assault, I might be like, let's talk.
Let's compromise.
I see a video of a guy swinging a hammer at a dude.
In front of the cops.
I don't think DePappe is innocent in this one.
I just don't know exactly how it went down.
And I think Paul Pelosi is not being completely honest about it.
What a fun Friday!
To get that footage released, we'll probably talk about it tonight on TimCast IRL, but... You know, maybe truth is stranger than fiction.
It's the easiest way to put it.
Maybe the reality is... sometimes weird things happen.
And... maybe we just go with the footage that we got.
Ultimately it comes down to this.
I think Paul Pelosi is a really, really bad, bad guy.
You know, like Matt Gaetz pointed out.
They got a bill to break up big tech.
Paul Pelosi buys the dip.
Bill disappears.
Who profits?
I think he got into a DUI recently.
He's a bad guy.
We know he drinks too much.
Could it be?
He invited DePap over, got super hammered, got angry with him, and said, I'm gonna call the cops, and then everything just spiraled out of control.
Maybe DePap hit him with a hammer because he was pissed to see the cops actually showed up.
It would explain why both men were at the door.
It would explain why Pelosi had one hand on the hammer.
It would explain why Paul Pelosi didn't go to the cops.
Because him and DePap knew each other, and there's a knock on the door, and DePap goes, did you seriously call the cops on me, dude?
And he's like, I told you.
You were actually- And then he's got the hammer.
He's like, I'm gonna go to the door.
And then Paul's like, I'm going to the door.
And they both go to the door.
And then Paul grabs the hammer.
And then someone opens the door despite their hands being full.
Maybe he- I don't know.
Maybe there's a shelf there, but- No, there's no shelf there.
I have no idea.
And then once DePap sees it's the police, he gets mad and he says, you mother- And then he takes it and he hits him with it.
Maybe?
Maybe.
You tell me.
Comment below.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 6 p.m.
over at YouTube.com slash TimCastNews.
Thanks for hanging out, and we'll see you all then.
The governor of Georgia has declared a 15-day state of emergency and deployed the National Guard in anticipation of the tire nickels and cop city riots.
If you're not following the stuff, we've got the Tree City Antifa people, Treehouse Antifa, whatever they're calling them, domestic terrorists.
These are a group of dangerous individuals who This may be shocking for many of you to hear, but they crossed state lines with guns.
They crossed state lines.
I know, I know.
We heard all about how dangerous it was and how wrong it was to cross state lines with guns during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.
Ladies and gentlemen, we now have a large group of far-left extremists, not just one person, who have crossed state lines with guns.
Okay, now, now that that joke is over, because you get the point how stupid this is, the actual serious element of this is, they did cross state lines with guns, went to the forest, and then when the cops showed up and said, hey, y'all have been burning down buildings, attacking innocent people, homeboy shoots a cop, putting him in the hospital.
Cops return fire in self-defense, killing this guy.
They start going on a rampage.
They start calling for the assassination of police.
And now, to make it all worse, we have this story of Tyre Nichols.
Now, there's been a handful of cops who have been charged.
I believe they have been charged with murder.
We'll go through that story.
And they're going to be releasing the body camera footage today.
Apparently, it shows them committing murder.
Now, I don't know how much I will believe the activist rhetoric.
These cops were all black.
They've all been charged.
I believe they've been charged, suspended, etc.
But I'm wondering if this is another story where it's like, a guy fights with cops, they pin him down, he dies somehow.
Or is this legitimate?
And so, I'm interested in seeing the body camera footage.
Apparently, people who have seen the footage were like, oh crap, yeah, it's actually really bad.
But you know what?
Charging these cops?
It's not going to do anything.
These people want to riot.
They want revolution.
This is an excuse.
You're giving them an excuse.
Trying to placate them is not going to work.
But let's read what's going on.
TimCast.com reports, Georgia governor declares 15-day state of emergency.
Deploys National Guard in anticipation of tire nickels and cop city riots.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has issued a 15-day state of emergency and deployed the National Guard after riots over the weekend.
He's asking 1,000 Georgia National Guard troops to be on standby from the Georgia Department of Defense.
On January 18th, 26-year-old Manuel Teran, a protester, I'm sorry, TimCast.com, a domestic terrorist, opposing the construction, who wrote this one?
You know, here's the thing.
I may be a little bit more bombastic, but these guys were charged with domestic terrorism.
So I don't think it's fair to call them a protester.
You can say, here's what I think would be appropriate.
But again, I'm not necessarily trying to go to my editorial team and tell them how to phrase or frame things all the time.
I do it sometimes.
So this one, it's like, I don't know, I think something should say, maybe say something different.
Maybe I'll message him after this.
I would say, if I was doing a news report, this is opinion stuff, but let me tell you, I would say, on January 18th, 26-year-old Manuel Taran, a far-left extremist, or an alleged far-left activist who has been charged with domestic terrorism, They say a protester opposing the construction of a new Atlanta Police Department was fatally shot by police after firing upon officers.
At about 9am today, as law enforcement was moving through the property, officers located a man inside a tent in the woods.
Officers gave verbal commands to the man, who did not comply and shot a Georgia State Patrol trooper.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a statement, other law enforcement officers returned fire, hitting the man.
Now, he died.
I think I'd rather say something like, you know, on January 18th, 26-year-old Manuel Teran allegedly opened fire on police in an attempt to create an autonomous zone and block police from entering property to build a police city.
The officer is reportedly in severe, serious condition.
Police returned fire reportedly in self-defense, striking and killing Manuel Teran.
There's probably ways you can do it. The 90 million dollar training facility known as Cop City will
sit on 381 acres in the Wiloni Forest. It is being protested, it has been protested for over a year
by anti-law enforcement militants and environmental activists calling themselves forest defenders.
Many have been camping on the grounds and in a make and makeshift tree houses
in an attempt to stop the construction.
On Saturday evening, hundreds of protesters marched to the streets of Atlanta in protest.
A police car was set on fire, several businesses were vandalized and had their windows smashed, and ultimately six people were arrested.
And they've been charged with domestic terrorism.
Local station WSB-TV reports that the state of emergency was issued moments after police in Memphis announced felony charges against five police officers accused of killing a man during a traffic stop on January 10th.
Tyer Nichols died three days after authorities said he ran after being pulled over on suspicious driving.
Here we go!
What was this guy doing?
Alright.
The Atlanta Police Department issued a statement saying they will support peaceful protests in our city.
The only problem is you've got domestic terrorists going around firebombing things, so good luck.
We are closely monitoring the events in Memphis and are prepared to support peaceful protests in our city.
We understand and share in the outrage surrounding the death of Tyre Nichols.
Police officers are expected to conduct themselves in a compassionate, competent, and constitutional manner.
When these officers failed Tyre, their communities, and their profession, we ask that demonstrations be safe and peaceful.
Before the last weekend's protest, seven activists involved in the protest had already been charged with domestic terrorism.
So I don't know if you call them protesters.
The challenge is this.
If the government arrests a protester who is a legitimate peaceful protester and then calls them a domestic terrorist, we are not going to do that.
But these people were arrested and charged after, I don't know, shooting at cops and throwing explosives.
Then again, The government can claim these are the people that did that, and therein lies still the challenge.
But if we are going to definitively refer to this individual as a protester, that is to imply we definitively believe they were there and involved.
In which case, either you say alleged domestic terrorist or alleged protester because we don't actually know if they were even there.
It's tough, right?
In a press release about the arrests.
The GBI alleged that protesters had been involved in a series of serious criminal activities including carjacking, various crimes against persons, destruction of property, arson, and attacks against public safety officials.
Law enforcement continues to address the criminal acts committed by the individuals that continue to occupy the area of the proposed training site.
So, ladies and gentlemen, here we go.
Here's a story from News Channel 3.
Tyer Nichols traffic stop video to be released Friday.
As today, you know why they're putting it on on Friday.
And you could argue it's actually a bad idea.
People put out information on Fridays, that's where the news goes to die.
However, when you're putting out police brutality videos on a Friday, you're basically saying, y'all got all weekend to riot.
Now before I read this story, I just want to give a shout out to the guys over at the Vulcan Theater.
And just let everybody know, I believe the IRL live, which is kind of funny, Timcast in real life!
In person!
It's a weird thing to say.
But, um, sold out.
I can't believe it.
We did not expect it to happen.
It looks like it's sold out already.
So, if you didn't get your tickets, wow.
Really excited for this one.
For those that aren't familiar, we're doing a live event April 14th.
7 p.m.
It's gonna be TimCast IRL live on stage with You can see here.
We've got Luke Rutkowski, Alex Jones, Alex Stein, Blair White, Michael Malice How could it we probably should have prepared for that?
How could it not to sell out when you have Alex Jones?
I mean, I don't think Tim Pool is the is the main draw getting everybody about the tickets I'm sure many of you bought the tickets because you wanted to come see me for sure But look at that lineup I'm really excited for this.
It's basically just the homies down in Texas.
We want to do an Austin event.
Of course, AJ, Malice, Blair White, they're down there.
We are really excited to have them all come on stage and hang out with us.
We'll probably rotate and, you know, have some people hang out for a couple hours or for an hour and then switch out.
So I want to make sure everybody knew that.
It looks like it's sold out.
You can check by clicking the banner at TimCast.com, but let's read the news.
Memphis, Tennessee.
The city of Memphis will release video of the police stop that led to the death of 29-year-old Tyree Nichols.
Is it Tyree?
Am I saying Tyree?
After 6 p.m.
Friday.
That's 7 p.m.
Well, I guess we'll have that video just in time for IRL tonight.
The announcement was made Thursday by Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy and later confirmed by Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland.
Officials have said they wanted to give Nichols' family opportunity to see the video before the public.
My friends, they're putting it out on a Friday night because they're hoping they can mitigate the chaos.
Friday nights are the lowest live audience we get for Timcast IRL.
Which is why we're doing an event live on a Friday night.
Because we were like, you know, why is it that people don't watch IRL in the same frequency on Friday as they do on, say, Wednesday?
Well, it's because they're going out and hanging out with friends and they're not sitting at home watching podcasts.
Some of you are.
Some of you are hanging out with your friends and watching the show.
And I said, let's do the show from a venue so people can actually come out in person and watch.
And that is their Friday night.
That sounds fun.
But why would they release video footage at 7 p.m.
on a Friday night of a guy dying at the hands of police?
Because everyone is out partying and nobody will watch it.
7 p.m.
Eastern Time.
They may as well not release anything.
Earlier Thursday, a grand jury returned indictments against five former Memphis police officers after Nichols' death earlier this month.
Tadarius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmett Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr., and Justin Smith were booked into the Shelby County Jail on charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of official misconduct, and official oppression.
Now, all of these cops, I believe, are black.
So this is not some white supremacist case.
However, I'm not- I'm not here to claim the leftists are being hypocritical.
The leftists hate cops.
I don't think- I mean, they'll probably exploit racial politics if the cop was white, but here they're just like, eh, cops are bad.
Remember, they said ALL cops.
All- uh, ACAB, right?
Tyree Nichols' family had called for first-degree murder, but Mulroy explained first-degree murder usually falls into one of the following two categories, premeditated or intentional killings and felony murder.
Mulroy said second-degree murder is generally an unplanned, intentional killing or death caused by reckless disregard for human life.
Molroy said he met with the family about these charges and it went well.
Their attorney, Ben Crump, released a statement saying the charges give them hope.
I'm wondering, man, are we gonna see body camera footage and it's gonna basically exonerate the cops?
Look, I would not be surprised if we see the body camera footage and it confirms these cops did bad.
I'm not gonna give the police the benefit of the doubt.
But I'm not gonna give Ben Crump the benefit of the doubt either.
For all we know, it's gonna be like, this guy's swinging at cops, and they're like, stop, and they pin him down, and then he's wrestling and fighting, and then he, like, grabs the guy's taser, and so they hit him, and then he dies or something.
Remember that story?
Where the guy is, uh, he's sleeping in the Wendy's drive-thru, he was drunk driving, and the cops are like, alright dude, get out of the car, you're driving drunk, man.
Yo.
You could kill somebody driving drunk.
I believe he was reportedly driving drunk.
And then when the police tried to detain him, he tries to run.
He grabs an officer's taser.
As he's running, he turns, points it at the cop, and he goes, no!
And then he shoots him.
And then they tried to destroy this guy's life.
Didn't they burn down the Wendy's too?
It's like, What did Wendy's do?
They were just trying to give a guy a burger!
I don't even know.
I think the issue was the Wendy's called the cops, like, hey, there's a guy sleeping in our drive-thru.
Can you move him?
And it really is kind of a bummer, man.
This guy should not have been driving drunk.
But it really is a bummer that they could have just moved his car, parked it, and just be done with it.
But you know what?
Driving drunk kills people.
That's why we say, you can't do this.
Falling asleep in a drive-thru in the wee hours of the morning.
And the cops who stopped him, they were like, look man, you did this.
Now part of me says, man, why can't we, why can't we as a society just have the cops be like, okay dude, you look inebriated, but we want to de-escalate.
So here's what we're going to do.
You're gonna call somebody right now to come and drive you home and we're gonna call it a bad hair day and try and avoid any conflicts and nobody gets hurt.
I'm not saying that is the solution, right?
Because then this guy drives drunk again or something, you know.
I'm just saying maybe we need to approach policing in a solution-oriented manner as opposed to a punitive-oriented manner.
And I suppose the idea is, you gotta get people who are driving drunk or whatever off the streets.
And a DUI would stop this person from driving, like, dude?
And the judges do interpret the law.
And I think a lot of people underestimate the court system.
You'll be surprised.
Judges don't want to send you to jail.
They don't want you going to jail.
Jails are jammed up.
As much as these activists want to claim we have the biggest prison population, we've got a lot of violent crime, there's a lot of problems in this country, but yo, they try everything to keep you out of jail.
Look at New York City, they've been trying as hard as possible.
They're just releasing criminals.
So maybe, that whole thing could have been avoided.
If they just said, pull your car in right here, you're good.
Out of the vehicle.
My guy, we think you're drunk.
Here's what we're gonna do.
Call your buddy right now, and we're gonna wait.
You need to get someone here to drive your car.
That's it.
Maybe it's naive.
Maybe it's naive, but I'm just trying to imagine a scenario where rides don't happen, Wendy's doesn't get burned down, a dude doesn't die, a dude doesn't fight with cops, but it really doesn't come down to this.
Don't attack police, steal their weapon, and point it at them.
As for this Tyree Nichols guy, I have no idea what he did.
I don't know.
We'll see the body camera footage later.
And, um, I don't trust these people.
I really don't.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
We all saw the George Floyd body camera footage.
I'd like to say the Democrats have.
They didn't.
We had the Krasensteins on and they're like, oh, we didn't actually watch it.
They didn't actually watch it?! !
This is the challenge, man.
The Krasnistins, and with all due respect, I appreciate they came on the show, right?
And I was like, did you see the body camera footage?
They're like, no.
Everyone here did.
Even hippie Ian, who often is like, it's good when you get pulled over.
And we're like, and Luke's screaming at him.
The cops are trying to keep me safe.
No, they're not.
They're filling quotas to make money.
That was funny.
But even Ian is like, yeah, he's like fighting cops, screaming, put me on the ground, put me on the ground.
It's like, dude, we actually watched that body camera footage and we went, oh wow.
It's not so cut and dry.
But this is what they do.
They're gonna release this video on a Friday at 7 p.m.
Nobody's gonna see it.
The activists will then take selects from it and claim, aha, look, the police did this thing.
Let's talk about that dude.
He's Patrice Cullors' cousin or whatever.
The left posts a video of him on the ground begging, like, no, help me, please, please don't hurt me.
Several hours later, he dies.
He's saying things, they're trying to George Floyd me, they're trying to George Floyd me.
Dude got into an accident, apparently while on drugs, fled the scene of the crime, and tried stealing someone else's car.
And the police still were like, please, sir, please, just sit down, just wait.
And he's like, I'm sorry, officer, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to.
And then he tries running, and they're like, stop him.
Yo, these stories are out of hand, man.
Out of hand.
And the left wants an excuse to riot and burn it all to the ground.
Because, I don't know, they're weirdos and they're bored.
We can't live this way.
Simply put, we cannot live this way.
Look at this.
Police stopped Nichols near his home in the Hickory Hill neighborhood around 822.
There was an altercation between Nichols and several officers and pepper spray was deployed.
Nichols fled on foot before a second confrontation with police.
He experienced serious injuries at this location, Mulroy said, and later was taken away by ambulance.
Mulroy said there was an elapsed period of time before an ambulance was called.
So what happened?
He fled.
Did he fight with the cops?
I don't think the answer to all this is always just comply, but it tends to be.
And this is the challenge.
It really, really depends.
We've learned a lesson from history, that when the government comes and says, get in the freight car, get in the truck, We saw what happened in Nazi Germany and the left wants to bring up Hitler and Nazi Germany all day every day.
So what do you do?
If the government pulls up with a truck and says, get in or else, what do you do?
This is the challenge.
The left says, this is why you don't comply.
But my friends, I gotta say, there's a big difference between military vehicles pulling up with guns and demanding you get into a truck and a cop catching you committing a crime and saying, Please put your hands behind your back.
You're going to jail.
Here's what I've learned.
A lot of these cases where people are unjustly arrested, they are not won by fighting with cops.
In fact, quite the opposite.
You lose instantly.
And I'm not a fan of cops arresting people on BS charges.
That's a violation of someone's rights.
But I've actually witnessed it, and I've contributed to the exoneration of an individual.
This goes back 12 years or so.
There was a guy standing on the sidewalk, taking photos during Occupy Wall Street.
He said he wanted to document the police side of the story.
The cops arrested him for no reason.
They lied in their police report and said he was obstructing a roadway.
He wasn't.
He was standing on the sidewalk.
Fortunately, I was filming at the time, and my livestream captured him standing on the sidewalk when they arrested him.
The police lied.
Had this man fought with the police, there'd be no exoneration.
They'd say he fought cops, he assaulted an officer, and he resisted arrest.
And they'd say, there's the video footage proving it.
Instead, he placed his hands behind his back, they put him in the arrest wagon, he then later got a lawyer and said, the cops lied, and although he went through some BS, he won.
Here's the problem.
The cop who lied under oath, I believe lied on the stand, faced no accountability.
That makes me very angry.
Makes me very, very angry.
A police officer lied on a police report and lied under oath?
And wasn't imprisoned?
Wasn't stripped of their badge?
Her badge?
Wasn't fired?
Evil.
That, my friends, is evil.
And that's why I can certainly understand why people don't like cops.
My point here is, you don't win by swinging at officers and fighting with them.
You win through the legal process and through strategy and tact.
I'm not going to pretend to have all the answers, my friends.
I can only tell you this.
They're deploying the National Guard and preparing for riots, so please pay attention because, you know, hopefully it does not get bad, but it's already been very, very bad over the past week, past several days, past year, with these far-left extremists carrying weapons across state lines.
I don't see anybody calling that out, huh?
Where's the far left to complain that they're doing that?
All of a sudden, they just don't care anymore.
We're going to have to wait and see what's in this body camera footage, but hopefully... I don't know, man.
I'm hoping that things remain as calm as possible.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 1pm on this channel.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
Justice!
I love this story so much because I have two stories for you.
One is about a man who firebombed a police vehicle and whose associate were driving around handing out firebombs and he gets one year in prison and a fine in probation.
That's, you know, make sure the context is all there.
And the judge says, you're a good guy, you know, Sentences a terrorist to one year.
There's another story.
It's about a guy who walked into the Capitol building, put his feet up on Nancy Pelosi's desk, and then made vulgar comments.
That guy is facing multiple years for obstruction of a government proceeding.
Now, I don't want to speak specifically to that one guy.
He's just the iconic guy.
But many of the January 6th defendants, while they did wrong, Simply milled about.
Some of these people have been completely acquitted because there's videos of police opening the doors for them.
Some of these people were actually fighting their way on one side, while many others had the doors opened and were fanned in by police.
That actually got more than one person acquitted.
Now, one guy had some charges acquitted, but ultimately they were like, look, while, yeah, they did let you in, I can see right here you're walking over a barricade, so that you're going to get trespassing for.
One guy was just like, dude, I walked in the building, the cop told me to come in, showed the video, and the judge went, yeah, that's actually correct.
This is the interesting thing.
I think there were several people in January 6 who opted for a bench trial, have a judge determine, and the judge actually was fair about it.
And the people who went for the jury trial, well, just got the book thrown at them because the juries just hate you.
But I love this.
Attorney who helped firebomb NYPD car during BLM protest sentenced to prison.
It's an amazing story where not only does he get a very light sentence, but the judge actually praises the guy.
Okay, fine.
This is why I don't live in New York City anymore.
And it's sad.
You know, I was watching that video from Project Veritas the other day where James is in New York City, he's confronting this Pfizer guy, and he's like, we're here in New York City, and I was like, I kind of miss New York.
You know, there are things about it that are nice, but it's just a dystopian nightmare at this point.
You can't do it.
And this is exactly it.
And now, outside of these stories, we have CNN doing an interview with a police—I think it's the police chief in Memphis, I'm not sure—but a police officer who's saying that the video of Tyree being beaten by the police is worse than Rodney King.
And they're going to be releasing that video footage tonight.
Yeah, it really does feel like they want there to be riots.
They let these psychopaths go.
And then you'll get more of it.
But if you're on the right, and you so much as fart in the presence of the wrong politician, they will beat you, throw you to the ground, and lock you up forever without charge in solitary.
Let me read you this story about this here feller.
Yahoo News reports, in a dramatic hearing on Thursday, a federal judge in Brooklyn sentenced a corporate attorney who firebombed a police car during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests.
unidentified
Can you, can you just, can we just, yep, okay.
tim pool
Call it terrorism, call it a riot.
But you can't say firebombed during protest.
It's oxymoronic, okay?
It's paradoxical.
A protest is when people are like waving little signs.
A riot or terrorism is when a person is waving a sign and then threatening to kill you unless you give them what they want.
That's what this guy was doing.
Anyway, he was sentenced to a year in jail, arguing that his prestigious education, boarding school, Princeton, a law degree from New York University, should have rendered him a peacekeeper, not an instigator.
You're not one of the oppressed.
You're one of the privileged, Senior Eastern District of New York Judge Brian M. Kogan told Colinford Mattis, even as he expressed admiration for what the 35-year-old had accomplished in his life.
A tale of two people.
Let me tell you a story.
One is about a boarding school-educated Princeton Law degree millennial.
And the other is a poor kid from the South Side of Chicago.
It's funny how this works, isn't it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, fine.
I'm comparing myself to the guy, Sosumi.
But the point I'm trying to make is, I did not have this upbringing, and you don't see me going around firebombing garbage.
Okay, well, firebombing police.
I didn't mean to imply that they were garbage.
I mean, like, firebombing things.
And this guy, supposedly of all this wealth and privilege, is a dangerous, violent psychopath who could have gotten people killed and is only lucky that he didn't.
Amazing.
The sentencing marked the culmination of a two-and-a-half-year legal battle that saw Mattis and his co-defendant Urooj Rahman, now 33, become symbols of the nation's political tumult and divisions.
Spanning two presidential administrations, their case saw competing imperatives play out in public and in the courtroom, as well as on social media.
To the Heritage Foundation, they were terrorists.
I mean, they're factually and literally terrorists.
Terrorism is defined as the use of fear or force, a threat of violence, for a political end.
Now you can argue against it and say we don't like how the government uses it.
Whatever.
That's what it is.
These people were firebombing things because they demanded political changes.
That is not democracy.
Yet the Democrats, the left, defended these people.
They still do.
New York Magazine allowed that they could be seen as civil rights heroes, even martyrs.
Oh, yes.
Because as the saying goes, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
The Daily Mail called them woke lawyers.
In the page of the New York Times, they were described by a guest contributor as victims of deeply ingrained injustices.
That's right!
The people who firebombed a vehicle and gave out more firebombs were the victims!
The victims!
Yeah.
The real perpetrators are those dang old, old ladies trying to run that muffin shop.
Run that muffin shop.
You know, you're giving people sugar and they're getting fat.
Have we considered that the old lady running her little cake shop is the real criminal?
I mean, these people didn't kill anybody, but that old lady, she's giving people diabetes.
Yeah, you see?
That's why these storefronts, there was no actual lady who was attacked.
I'm just making the point that Apparently, to these people, the real perpetrators are the stores that are just trying to sell goods to the people who want to buy them.
That's how they view the world, man.
And these far-left extremists who go around smashing everything up, they're the real victims.
The Justice Department under Trump sought to put them away for 45 years, but then Joe Biden became president.
And in both cases, the Justice Department settled for much less.
They ended up pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit arson last summer, but both will lose their law licenses.
Here's the best part.
Quote, You're a good guy.
No questions, the judge told Mattis, dressed in a blue shirt and khakis, before reading the sentence.
Twelve months and one day, a fine of $30,000, and one year of probation.
The judge asked for a few moments of quiet contemplation, a final opportunity to think through a case that had become a topic of national interest, a referendum on racism and policing.
Privilege and justice, not to mention the coronavirus pandemic that seemed to bring those and other forces into inescapable public confrontation.
The facts of the case were never in dispute, but what those facts mean remains deeply unsettled as the nation continues to struggle with racial and social divisions.
Yeah, the facts say that if you get a year in jail for throwing a firebomb into a police vehicle and passing out more firebombs, and the city protects these people, the facts say, get the out of that city.
I strongly encourage you to find a place to live away from these places before the firebomb lands in your car with your children.
You take a look at what's going on in Atlanta, man, and I'll just say, It's coming.
Mark Pitkovich.
He is a senior research fellow at the ADL, Center on Extremism.
Even he says, he was sentenced to a year in prison, which is considerably less than most people get for a firebombing.
Attorney who helped firebomb NYPD car during BLM protests sentenced to prison.
Now, I don't know if he's expressing disdain or glee.
My immediate assumption that he was kind of shocked that this guy firebombed a police car.
Look at that smug- look at his face.
He got away with it.
I'm sorry, but a year is getting away with it.
He firebombed and gave out firebombs.
And they're like one year and he goes, wow.
Just think about the math.
That's the risk factor?
You tell these Antifa types your worst case scenario is a year?
Don't be surprised when they go out and do way more.
Now, he pointed this out.
Final defendant in Trenton police car firebombing gets 27 months in fed pen.
Okay.
It's not like it's always gonna happen.
This guy was a BLM protester.
He got more than two years.
It is what it is.
CBS says man who put feet up on Pelosi's desk found guilty in January 6th case.
That's right.
This guy.
Should he have done it?
No.
Is he kind of a dick?
Yeah.
Should he be facing multiple years in prison for this?
Yeah, probably not.
He was prosecuted.
Look at this.
He's convicted of a series of federal crimes including obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, and entering a restricted building.
He was also prosecuted for the theft of mail.
Definitely should not have taken the mail.
He claimed to have been in the moment and going with the flow.
However, prosecutors, the AP noted, said Barrett was carrying a stun gun when he stormed the Capitol and invaded Pelosi's office.
He faces multiple years in prison, sentencing May 3rd.
Okay.
Well, maybe this guy doesn't get multiple years.
Fine.
Fair point.
But the reason I bring up January 6th is that some of these people who simply bumbled about— I'm not talking about the violent people.
The violent people, you lock them up.
Okay?
I don't care.
You get violent, you're smashing stuff, you're destroying things.
Stop.
You get locked up.
The Doddards who bumbled about and got let in by the cops?
Some of these people have been in solitary for a long time.
The solitary may be mostly those who are fighting, but a lot of these people were in jail for a long time, and they even raided innocent people's homes.
What are they doing about Antifa on the far left?
Well, I hope you're ready for this.
Let me play this video for you.
Let me make sure I get the audio actually configured properly.
unidentified
You said that it is reminiscent, perhaps worse, than the Rodney King video.
Is that your assessment?
That's my assessment.
I was in law enforcement during the Rodney King incident and it's very much aligned with that same type of behavior.
That it's worse?
Sort of group think.
I would say it's about the same, if not worse.
If not worse?
If not worse.
So take us through the video tonight, when it is released.
It has been said there's over an hour, there's the pole cam, they said the sky cam, and there's body worn camera video.
What are we going, and how is it going to be distributed?
Are you going to put it on social media?
Are you sending it to the media?
How is this going to be distributed?
Actually, we plan to post it on a YouTube link so that it can be accessible to just about anybody who wants to access that video.
And we'll be pushing that out later on this evening.
tim pool
Can I just, I just want to say, they put out, this is a CNN interview.
It's from 10 a.m.
today.
Police chief, video of Nichols beating worse than Rodney King.
unidentified
Okay.
tim pool
So you know what's going to happen.
You know what's supposed to happen this weekend.
You know what they want to happen this weekend.
They did not need to come out and say it's worse than Rodney King.
They did not need to invoke Rodney King.
They did not need to do the interview in this way.
They could have simply said, expect the body camera footage later tonight.
And I fully expect the reason they're releasing the body camera footage tonight, typically, news goes to die on a Friday.
But this is different.
Riots happen on Friday nights and throughout the weekend.
This is them priming.
You want to stop a riot?
You release the footage on a Monday.
Sure, it gets a lot of press.
But then everyone kind of forgets about it and moves on over the next few days when they're at work or school.
You want a riot?
You release the news on a Friday so people are at their maximum outrage and going out Friday night with no work or school in the morning.
unidentified
Broken into four different sort of fragmented pieces, but they're all very relative to this incident.
The initial stop, the stop near Tyree's home, and also body-worn camera of individuals that were at that scene.
Is it, was it released later on, on a Friday after 6.30 central time, 7 o'clock eastern time?
Was that, we were told, I don't know if it's true, you can confirm it, it was so that the officers could leave the building safely in case there were protests?
No.
No.
No, not at all.
Then why?
Well, we think about the entire public, to tell you the truth.
We thought about schools.
We thought about business.
tim pool
Amazing, amazing.
unidentified
We felt like Friday afternoon, if there were individuals who decided they wanted to peacefully protest, at least other individuals would have gone home, schools would be out, and it wouldn't be as disruptive as it would have been if we released it on a Wednesday afternoon.
tim pool
So, I just want you to think about what she just said.
People have gotten out of school, they've gone home.
She's outright saying people will be available!
Because what you'd really do is you'd say there will be much less protesting if people are at work and school.
Instead, she literally just said they opted to release this at a time when everyone was at home.
unidentified
In this video it is said that Tyree Nichols cries for his mother.
Did you hear that?
I did.
I heard him call out for his mother, for his mom.
I did.
And?
That's why this incident, not just that, but just the disregard for humanity as I mentioned before, I think that's what really just pulls at your heart strings and makes you wonder Why was a sense of care and concern for this individual just absent from this situation by all who went to the scene?
Speaking of the people who went to the scene, have you spoken?
Did you speak to any of the officers after?
I have not.
You have not?
I have not.
tim pool
It really does seem like they're trying to do everything in their power to ramp up the emotion.
It's worse than Rodney King.
Yo, you didn't need to invoke that.
He was crying out for his mother.
He was.
The lack of humanity.
It's like, they want to make sure everybody knows to get ready for tonight.
unidentified
You spoke to the family of Terry Nichols?
I have.
I have.
I think I was just as emotional as they were.
And you can't help but feel their pain.
You can't help but even take ownership of what they are going through.
I've extended and unveiled myself to the family in the days to come, not just as, you know, a police chief, but as a mother, as someone who felt the pain of Ms.
Wells and her loss and the sense of responsibility to do whatever I could, especially in the first steps of justice, you know, to terminate these officers.
And, you know, and hopefully the rest of this process towards justice will be as swift.
tim pool
It's not going to do anything.
The process of justice.
Terminating the officers.
I think they are being charged with second degree murder.
We'll see the video, man.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
You're not going to fool me a third time.
Alright?
Here's my concern.
We've been burned before.
I mean, the Ahmaud Arbery case, it's shocking.
You know what we need in the Ahmaud Arbery case?
We need the federal government to intervene on civil rights grounds.
The story is absolutely shocking.
And it's no surprise that Democrats and leftists don't even know anything about the case or what had happened.
And even to the extent that I was very critical of how the government handled the Ahmaud Arbery case, I had people come on the show who explained in further detail the travesty of justice that was, how the court proceedings went down.
That is to say, the judge gave improper instruction to the jury explaining the citizen's arrest law.
Here's the issue.
I don't like that anybody lost their life.
Ahmaud Arbery should not have died.
But Ahmaud Arbery should not have been burglarizing a building and then trying to take a shotgun from a man.
And I'm not going to hide from it.
Like so many others who came out and said, see, the McMichaels were convicted.
That proves there's justice.
Whereas Kyle Rittenhouse also proves there's justice.
And I'm like, ain't playing that game.
Don't know.
Don't care.
Write every smear piece in the world about me.
I will not lie.
About the facts in the Ahmed Arbery case.
Like so many cowards, even on the right, who are like, well, see, there's justice.
unidentified
Shut up.
tim pool
You know, it's far from perfect what these guys did.
The McMichaels were ordered not to pursue, but to act like they were hunting down some guy jogging.
I know, this one really pisses me off because it's a travesty of justice.
And again, I don't care about whatever smear pieces they want to write.
Go for it, you psychopaths.
Ahmed Arbery was a felony burglary suspect who was on camera committing felony burglary.
Period.
Period.
He did it.
Everyone tried claiming it was trespassing.
In fact, in the beginning, I said it looked like trespassing.
And then, I got to learn what burglary actually meant.
Breaking into someone's home.
I said, oh.
So when the police went around and said, here's the picture of the guy.
And then later they went, hey yo, that's the guy the cops are looking for.
Hey, that matches the description of the dude who had been burglarizing our neighborhood for months.
And maybe the guy who stole a gun out of a truck.
They said, we need to stop this guy.
And then Ahmaud Arbery, you want to know how you know it's a travesty of justice?
And I'm sorry to harp on this for those that already know the whole story, but it really pisses me off, is that the dude who simply filmed what happened got like 20 years in prison.
It was all political.
Says to me that the real reason they want to lock these guys up was, you've embarrassed us on the national level and we're not taking heat for you.
It's a crazy story, man.
Now, I understand, you know, from Ahmaud Arbery's perspective, he's got a car behind him, a car in front of him.
He could've run a different direction, he could've done a lot of things, and it's a tough situation.
But Ahmaud Arbery flanks around the truck and then attacked Travis McMichael, trying to take his gun from him.
During the struggle, the gun went off and he took a hit to the chest and he died.
And for that, they claimed the McMichaels were lynching a guy who was jogging.
Spare me your lies.
I went over that story, and it's truly a travesty of justice.
So I tell you this.
When they come out and say these things, I... I'm not gonna flip... I wanna flip in a bird.
But I will say this.
I'm a reasonable person.
I will watch the footage, okay?
But I do not trust any of you.
Hamming it up with Don Lemon... WORSE THAN RODNEY KING!
Shut up!
You sick psychopaths.
We don't want violence.
We want accountability.
The cops have been charged already.
How about that?
But you know what?
It's not gonna satisfy the lunatics.
So whatever.
I suppose we can only sit back and wait and see how this one plays out.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 4 p.m.
over at youtube.com slash timcast.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
Did you guys see that video New York put out a little while ago?
Where they were like, what to do in the event of a nuclear attack?
And everybody was like, yo New York, why are you telling us how to survive a nuclear attack?
Are we at risk for a nuclear attack?
From the Daily Mail.
Exclusive.
Is the World Health Organization preparing for nuclear war?
Health Body Publishes List of Medicines for Nations to Stockpile in Case of Radiation or Nuclear Emergency as EU Warns Russia is at War with the West.
Well, as many of you may have seen just a couple days ago, German Foreign Minister actually came out and said, we are at war with Russia.
Now, some took to social media and said that it was a declaration of war.
Not a formal legal document signed by anybody.
Nobody's making that argument.
But it is a government official declaring that they're at war.
Okay, so, uh, yeah.
Are the nukes coming?
The World Health Organization has updated its list of medicines to stockpile for radiological or nuclear emergencies just hours after the EU warned that Russia is at war with the West.
The global health body issued guidance on how to survive a nuclear catastrophe in a
new report today, warning against intentional uses of radioactive materials with malicious
intent.
The report was published as the specter of nuclear war looms over the world after the
West supplied steady-dart tanks to Ukraine to the fury of Vladimir Putin.
The Kremlin accused NATO of blatant provocation and threatened a global catastrophe in response
to the deal.
Here's a nice little photo.
Russia test launches the feared Sarmat, Satan 2 missile in April last year, as the nuclear threat remains high.
Okay.
Russia is saying that deploying these German Leopard tanks that have the ability to use uranium core artillery shells, if they do that, that would be nuclear war.
What they're basically saying Is, hello friends, if you use this artillery, we will FIRE THE MISSILES!
And then you're gonna get, uh, I don't think what, I don't think Russia will launch an ICBM like a Satan 2 right away.
I think what we'll see is strategic or nuclear artillery.
Meaning lower yield stuff.
It's going to be for a purpose.
You know, most people seem to think that nuclear war means Russia fires a 50 megaton bomb on New York.
Now why would they do that?
What strategic goal is accomplished by just blowing up New York?
Perhaps the argument is made because the United States just basically flattened Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
But that was a display of power, and to disrupt the economy, among other things.
Some argue the U.S.
just really wanted to test this.
They wanted to try out this bomb in a real-world scenario, and they wanted everyone to know that we could do it.
But why would Russia fire an ICBM?
They probably wouldn't.
I should say, if they do fire an intercontinental ballistic missile, it would be a Ukrainian target.
I believe if it's going to hit a city, the most likely target is going to be Kiev.
They're going to want to shock and awe, not too dissimilar from what the U.S.
did with Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II.
What makes the most sense right now is that Vladimir Putin would fire off nuclear artillery, very powerful explosives that will win them strategic points or decimate certain economic lines or factories or power plants, etc.
They say in Today, Stefano Sanino, Secretary General of the European Union's European External Action Service, said Putin had moved from a concept of special operation to a concept now of a war against NATO and the West.
The EU is not looking to escalate hostilities, but is just giving the possibility of saving lives and allowing the Ukrainians to defend themselves from these barbaric attacks.
Dr. Maria Nera, WHO Acting Assistant Director General, warned that many governments today are not prepared for a nuclear or radiation disaster.
She said, In radiation emergencies, people may be exposed to radiation at doses ranging from negligible to life-threatening.
Governments need to make treatments available for those in need fast.
Now, I just gotta warn everybody.
Potassium iodide will do nothing.
Okay, here's what it is.
It's the thing you hear about whenever there's a fear of nuclear war.
Potassium iodide.
Little pill tablets that they say you take and it protects you from radiation.
No, what it does is, is it protects your body from absorbing radioactive iodine.
You eat the supplement, your thyroid fills up, and then if you ingest radioactive iodine, your body says, don't need it, we've got too much already.
But if you don't take it, and your body's like, we could use some iodine, ah, here's some, it takes it in, and then you get radioactive particles stuck up in your thyroid, and then all of a sudden you're like, I'm dying of cancer.
A lot of people seem to think that you can take these pills and then, like, walk around.
Sorry, dude.
I went to Fukushima with Luke Goodkowski, and we had to wear suits.
And it's a funny thing, because I really didn't understand much about radioactivity.
There's alpha and beta particles and gamma wave radiation.
And this is the general lecture that we got.
So we go to the red zone.
Radiation everywhere!
It was crazy.
We had the Geiger counter we put on the ground.
It was like 40 or 50 times background radiation on the ground because of all the radioactive particles.
We put on these suits.
And then they're like thin cloth suits.
And I'm like, what's the point of this?
What is this thing gonna do?
How is it gonna stop radiation?
And they said, all the little particles that get all over you, You take the suit off, bundle it up, and throw it in the garbage.
That's what it does.
And I went, huh.
I didn't know that.
Here's a crazy story.
It's a sad story.
We went with a woman, she was a fixer, showing us around.
And she had done many excursions, or incursions, into the Red Zone in Fukushima.
A few years ago, she died of cancer.
So, it's like, at a certain point, you know, we asked her and the guy she worked with, like, aren't you worried about coming out?
Like, we went one time.
And it is worrying!
You know, Luke and I went.
Afterwards, we got our thyroids checked out.
They said everything was fine.
So...
You know, we go down there and it's brutal.
They said, we're older, so it's not as big of a concern to us.
And she didn't make it.
It's scary stuff, man.
It's scary stuff to consider.
Quote, it is essential that governments are prepared to protect the health of populations and respond immediately to emergencies.
This includes having ready supplies of life-saving medicines that will reduce risks and treat injuries from radiation.
We'll see what happens.
I hope it doesn't come to this.
But when they come out and they start warning us how to survive nuclear attacks, you know what they're saying?
They're not telling you that the attack will happen.
They're saying, we actually think it might.
So my question for you is this, and comment below, what do you do?
What will you do?
What are you going to do?
Are you going to sit there in your city and just say, well, you know, look, the New York City government put out this PSA saying just to like put a towel under the door.
Or do you get away from these cities?
They got this thing called Nuke Map.
It shows you the range of various nuclear bombs.
And looking at Washington, D.C., because we're not that far away, for the most part, we're totally fine.
Where we're at, where our business operates from.
So, even some of the largest bombs will only just really make life hard, but wouldn't kill us.
I think, actually, the, like, if it was a larger bomb, like the Satan 2 missile, if it actually hit DC, we wouldn't be in the blast zone, or the radiation zone, or the thermal zone, or anything like that.
We would just be in the, all of the roads are destroyed and food ain't coming no more zone.
That's the scary thing.
Because it would wipe out a massive area.
A lot of cities gone.
A lot of dead people.
I mean, if Obama, actually, we're talking hundreds of thousands dead.
Maybe millions.
But fortunately, we're outside that zone, so we just have to figure out where our food comes from.
We can only eat so many chickens.
And, uh, when Chef Andrew Gruhl came over, it was really fun, we were cooking up, uh, he was making, like, eggs and veggies and stuff, and he asked if we had chives, and I was like, yes!
And I ran out into the backyard, found a patch of chives and just ripped it out of the ground, and he rinsed them and chopped them and we ate them.
That's cool.
I mean, not like it's gonna save you in the event of the apocalypse.
We're gonna be eating leaves or something.
I was reading about how you can eat leaves off the tree, and what they say you do is, one, you can look at what the animals eat, but it's no guarantee you can actually eat it.
They said you take the leaf, you rip it, and you rub the insides of the leaf on your skin, and then you gotta wait.
And if nothing happens, then you take it and rub a little bit on your lips.
Then you wait.
If nothing happens, congratulations, you can eat the leaf.
But don't take my word for it, I was just reading some weird survival guide.
I'm not sure you can subsist off of eating leaves off of trees.
Although the deer can probably do it, I don't know about a human.
And you can't off-rabbit.
Now the trick is...
I was talking to, I think it was Corey Mills, actually.
I have a story about Corey Mills next, because he's sending grenades at people.
But I think he was saying, if you want to survive off rabbit, just make sure you crack the bones, cook them up, and eat the bone marrow, because the bone marrow has the fat you need.
There's something called rabbit starvation, where people will breed rabbits, because they're like, we'll just eat rabbits, they grow so quickly, and there's so many of them, but they don't produce enough fat.
So you start dying.
Hey, there's protein.
Food's food.
Eat it if you got it.
But you need more than that.
So Corey was, I think it was Corey, I could be wrong, but he was saying you cook the bones, you break it up, and you eat the marrow out of it, and you'll get some of the fat you need.
I don't know if you can still survive off of it.
But hey, I'm not here to give you survival guide stuff.
I'm just, you know, I'm just wondering, you gonna sit around and wait?
That's my question.
They're basically screaming nuclear war.
Are you going to sit around and wait?
It's up to you, man.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Because I'm not, I don't want to be the kind of guy that believes there's going to be a nuclear strike in the United States.
I'm also not someone who wants to just kind of, I don't know, wait around and find out and then when it happens go, oh, whoops, maybe I should have actually done something.
So, I got chickens, I got food, what about you?
I guess we'll see.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up in a few minutes.
Stick around and we'll see you all then.
I don't know if it's appropriate to say, like, civil war or something, but, you know, drink, I guess.
Tim Pool said civil war.
But we got an interesting one on our hands, and it certainly made me laugh.
Republican defends sending grenades to colleagues as a simple gift, and urges flustered Democrats to get this upset about the border and the sexualization of children instead.
So, uh, this is what's going around.
A photo of a 40mm grenade.
Inert, by the way.
It's more of a prop.
Being sent out by Corey Mills, member of Congress.
We've had Corey on the show several times.
Uh, we're fans.
I think this is funny.
And they need to calm down.
But they're losing their minds over this.
And it was a clever stunt.
Stunt or whatever you want to call it.
I don't know what Corey's intentions were on this one.
But, uh, every, every, they're all losing their minds.
He sent grenades to us!
They're not real grenades, dude.
Calm down.
It's like, is, is, pfft.
At least, Corey certainly knows how to set the news cycle.
The Daily Mail reports.
Republican Rep.
Cory Mills scoffed at the outrage over his simple gift of an inert grenade to fellow House members Friday morning.
A photograph obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail showed the Florida veteran had handed out the grenades made in his state emblazoned with the symbol of the GOP and Elephant.
I am honored to be a part of the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committee.
Mills wrote in a letter accompanying the trinket bomb.
The trinket bomb is inert.
In that spirit, it is my pleasure to give you a 40mm grenade made for a Mark 19 grenade launcher.
These are manufactured in the Sunshine State and first developed in the Vietnam War.
A disclaimer at the bottom of the letter confirmed the grenades would not explode.
Yes, they're inert.
Mills said, of the Democratic outrage, that the gift has stirred up.
If they would get this upset about our borders, or the sexualization of our children, or things like that, as opposed to a simple gift, that would be really, really nice for once.
Amazing.
I think that what they're really upset about is that didn't actually give them one of these gifts, he added.
There's a word missing.
Mills to Fox Business Network Maria Bartiromo.
It was customary for lawmakers to pass around gifts from their home state at the start of the new Congress.
Is that true?
Is that what it is?
Ted Lieu says, I am retweeting this action by MAGA Republican Cory Mills of Florida for your information and without comment.
Morgan Phillips says, Rep.
Cory Mills is passing out grenades to fellow House members.
I mean, I'm gonna be honest with this one.
If that really is the case, that they hand out gifts from their home state, and Florida does manufacture these things, this was one of the most epic moves ever.
Make them understand what they fund and what they send overseas.
Welcome to the party, ladies and gentlemen.
Vote on it.
You see, these Democrats all voted in lockstep for the war in Ukraine, and now they're also scared because someone's like, these are the bombs that we make.
And they're like, oh, oh, God, don't make me look at it.
It's like the Hunger Games, man.
The Capital City.
You know, the victors go to Capital City, and they're like, quick, drink this.
It'll make you vomit so you can eat more.
That's what the Democrats are to me.
They don't want to know about how the sausage gets made.
Heaven forbid.
But they'll vote for it.
Ted Lieu, also a veteran and vice chair of the House Democratic Caucus, responded... We read it.
I've offered Congressman Ted Lieu, who seemed to have an issue with it, to make him one.
Unfortunately, I can't put House Majority on the back like I did for everybody else, for obvious reasons.
Mills said the inert grenade has been cleared by Capitol Police and cleared by the bomb squad.
And the letter says, says, welcoming you to a mission-oriented 118th Congress.
I am eager to get back to work for the American people, get to work for the American people, and I look forward to working with you to deliver on this commitment.
I am honored to be part of the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committee, and in that spirit, it is my pleasure to give you a 40-millimeter grenade made for the Mark 19 grenade launcher.
These are manufactured in the Sunshine State, first developed in the Vietnam War.
Let's come together and get to work on behalf of our constituents, honorably Corey Mills, member of Congress, Asterisk.
Asterisk.
These Florida-manufactured Florida, uh, sorry, Florida 40-millimeter grenades are inert.
Quote.
It's clearly nothing more than a paperweight, he said, but you've got people like Ted Lieu and Swalwell who are melting down.
Mills won his seat in Florida's 7th District in November, flipping the seat formerly held by Democratic Rep Stephanie Murphy, a member of the subcommittee that investigated the January 6th riots.
Well, well, well.
Trump-backed Mills Uh, has said he does not view President Biden as the legitimate victor in the 2020 election.
An Army veteran and defense contractor by trade, Mills touted during his campaign that his company sold tear gas used on Black Lives Matter protesters.
Holy crap.
Well, look, man, I don't know about that Trump election stuff.
I think the real key is going to be ballot harvesting moving forward.
You guys know what I think about this.
And as for the using them on Black Lives Matter protesters, look, I don't like the idea that cops are firing tear gas at protesters, but I don't know how you expect us to respond to violent terrorists.
My point is this.
There's a difference.
If a protester is marching about waving a little sign and cops start firing tear gas, and I've seen it, I say, yo, that's bad, don't do that.
If violent terrorists are smashing windows and literally killing people, and the police fire tear gas, I say, it's the better alternative to lethal force.
So I will take it.
But our good friend Cenk Uygur is outraged!
He says, You know, I'll say fair point that it is the craziest workplace in the country.
Fine.
But, uh, I just gotta push back, man.
and very likely arrested.
What does it say about us?
The craziest workplace in the country is where our representatives gather.
You know, I'll say fair point that it is the craziest workplace in the country.
Fine.
But I just got to push back, man.
I can, I, look, in a newsroom where Cenk Uygur is supposed to work, I'll tell you, if one
of our reporters came back with a 40 millimeter grenade and said, boom, from my trip, we'd
unidentified
go, wow, that's really cool.
tim pool
Bye.
Do you know how many 40 millimeter foam rounds and shell casings I've collected?
When we're on the ground, me and the crew, and we're reporting on riots and civil unrest and things like that, and you find expanding foam rounds or you find bean bags or whatever, you take them.
Not all of them.
You don't collect them and put them in a little bag and then carry a big bag of them to like put in a recycling center.
No, you take one.
It's, it's, it's, it, look.
The reason why I grab these things is to explain to people what they are, and it's like a piece of that moment.
So it's a fragment representing a thing that happened.
An artifact, as it were.
So I can say, this is a shell casing from the French riots.
This is when people did X, Y, and Z, A, B, and C. Table.
And you know what?
They make interesting gifts depending.
A lot of the things that I collected from when I traveled around, I've kept.
I don't want to give away.
But I usually take one piece of every story I covered.
Why?
It is a physical representation of that story.
It happened.
It exists.
I've got the newspaper from St.
Louis during Ferguson.
I've got police tape from when that black nationalist assassinated those cops.
I even have fragments of rock from Ukraine.
I'll leave it at that.
These are just pieces that, like, this thing happened.
This is where this came from.
Now as for this with Corey Mills, dude just got a paperweight.
A toy.
In any workplace, dude.
How about in defense contracting?
If, I gotta tell you, Corey Mills, in any other workplace, probably gives these things out, or has, to other companies.
So he's got, like, somebody does business deals with him on, like, metal sourcing or something.
He probably says, hey, thanks for doing business with us for this many years, we really appreciate it.
And they open the box, and there's little fake grenades, and it says, these grenades are inert, we hope you appreciate the gift.
And they're probably like, oh, look at that!
You know, we supply the metal to these guys, do-do-do, put them on the shelf.
Cenk Uygur is just exaggerating.
I can't believe that they're feigning such outrage over this, but to be honest, I probably shouldn't even say that, except I can.
They get outraged no matter what happened.
They want to act like they don't fund this.
That they don't agree with this.
And they do, and they always have.
So you know what?
I'm not gonna rag on Corey Mills.
I'll click that follow button.
I'm not gonna rag on Corey Mills because his company, or I don't know if he makes this, but there are companies in Florida that manufacture these things.
I think he might, I'm not sure.
He's a defense contractor, so I think he might make them.
It is what it is.
I don't care for the tool, I care for the usage.
If we make tear gas, we go to war, and there are guys who are like, yeah, we're gonna kill, and then you say, okay, tear gas them.
That is better than killing people.
So it's like, okay.
Now it's a grenade, I guess, to be launched at people, but listen.
The ability to defend yourself is a God-given right.
What we don't want to see is foreign wars where these weapons are used on innocent populations.
That would be wrong.
If it happens, I will criticize it.
But someone making it, it is what it is.
This idea that you can get rid of all the weapons, it's just fantasy.
You can't.
So we're going to make them.
And I'm not going to blame the guys who do.
I'm going to say, okay, I'm not going to blame any of the gun manufacturers, the bullet manufacturers, none of that.
You know what I will blame them for?
If they make something faulty and it backfires and injures somebody.
Then I'll say, guys, what are you doing?
We got standards here, huh?
But how about this, Democrats?
If you're so angry, start voting against all the war.
When you do that, then I'll say, okay, well, you know, these guys oppose the war and oppose voting for it and funding it, so it's no wonder they're mad they're getting this stuff.
But you know what?
Honestly, I got on my shelf right here from Phoenix Ammunition, you see it every night on TimCast IRL, 50 BMG casings.
They're not, I don't think they've ever actually been used.
They're just shell casings.
They do make great gifts.
How about that?
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up in a few minutes.
Stick around and I'll see you all shortly.
I think feminists really don't understand men, and I think they don't try to understand men, and I think men don't understand women, and often explain, rather humorously, that they literally don't understand women.
But anyway, my point is this.
I saw this meme posted on Twitter.
Women in Power says, what if the harassment shoe was on the other foot?
Exactly.
You wouldn't like it either.
We wouldn't?
Guys would not like it?
You know, let me show you this comic, and then I'll explain to you at least how I feel.
How would I, as a dude, feel if I was walking down the street and some lady, some chick was like, man, you look pretty good.
You look nice.
Like, how would you feel about that?
Uh-huh.
Let me show you the comic.
Alright, so check it out.
The first one is there's a guy, and he's smiling, and there's a lady, and she goes, Hey man, you look cute.
You'd smile more.
You know what?
unidentified
Okay.
tim pool
Let me read.
Hello, lovely gentleman, says a woman in, I guess, a miniskirt suit or something.
The next one is, You fixed your own computer?
You're so smart.
That's impressive.
Thanks!
You look way too good to be a cashier, says the old lady.
Alright, let me break these down and we'll talk about how I feel and you comment below and let me know how you feel.
Hey man, you look cute.
You should smile more.
Do you know what my reaction would be if I was walking down the street and some woman said that?
I don't care if the woman is 50 years old and morbidly obese.
I don't care if the woman is in her 20s and is busty and beautiful.
My reaction would be, wow, thank you.
And I'd probably start smiling.
I'd be like, oh, I do look good.
Look at that.
Hello, lovely gentleman, says the boss.
Literally don't care and have no idea what that means anyway.
If I'm sitting down to work and someone said, hello, lovely gentleman, I'd be like, hi.
This is meaningless to me.
I really like this one.
You fixed your own computer.
You're so smart.
That's impressive.
Thanks.
You know, like a woman complimenting a guy on his technical abilities.
He's going to be like, well, I do feel good about this.
Like, could you imagine just doing any task you know how to do?
Any task.
And having a woman be like, wow, you're really good at that.
You'd be like, yeah, I've been practicing.
Are you serious?
So hold on, let me get this straight.
If a woman was fixing her computer and a guy said, you fixed your own computer?
Wow, you're so smart.
That's impressive.
She'd be like, excuse me?
That's harassment?
Wait, what?
You look way too good to be a cashier.
Oh, come on now.
You see, this one, this one's real.
This happens all the time.
When I was a teenager working at a cafe, when I was working at a grocery store, I'd have a bunch of cougar old ladies being like, oh, you're such a cute, handsome young man.
unidentified
What are you doing here working at the grocery store?
tim pool
And I'd be like, well, ma'am, you know I gotta pay the bills.
That happens all the time.
I wanted to talk about this because I just love the social connotations.
Women in Power, that's the name of the Facebook page, says you wouldn't like it either.
You know why?
Here's what I think.
For one, obviously, men and women are different.
Men and women are bimodal.
The genders are bimodal.
What that means is there's some overlap in social, in how we act socially and how we behave and how we experience things.
But for the most part, they're very different.
Simply put, women want and expect different things from men, on average.
But I'll tell you what I think really makes a difference here.
First, women are being conditioned today to be offended by compliments.
Now hold on your pretty little faces.
I am not saying that a dude on the street being like, damn girl, what up, is a compliment.
I'm saying that a guy on the street seeing a pretty woman and saying, how do you do ma'am?
They get offended by that.
Like the dude could literally say nothing.
And like I mentioned in a segment, you know, I did a few days ago, the 10 hours of walking through New York as a woman, There are some guys who are just like, mornin' miss!
And they'd be like, oh!
How dare you!
Is that harassment?
But not only that, apparently, women are really upset that guys are like, you should smile more.
Here's the crazy thing about it.
I actually think it's kind of annoying, if it happened all the time.
Smile more!
Smile more!
I'd be like, okay, patronizing.
But who cares?
Literally, who cares?
Like, I was saying, like, if it was me, it never happens.
So if a woman said it to me, I'd probably smile and be like, oh, thank you for the compliment.
But I'll tell you what I find funny.
The meme.
You all know it.
You've all seen it.
It's the Guardian writer, and she's like, catcalling is so awful.
And then the next one, it's like three years later, she's like, men don't catcall me anymore, and it makes me feel bad.
It's like, how much of this is Like, hard to get.
You know what I mean?
Again, I will stress, harassment is not what I'm talking about.
Creepy dudes doing creepy things.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about compliments.
I'm talking about a woman working at a grocery store and a guy being like, you're beautiful.
What are you doing working at a grocery store?
You get offended by that?
Well, I don't care.
I don't care if you're offended.
That's stupid.
Hello, lovely ladies.
Imagine a boss walked into a room and said, hello, lovely ladies.
Let's get to work.
You'd be mad by that.
Calling you a lovely lady.
This is the craziest thing.
So my point is this.
I don't think it's so much that women get complimented so much they get tired of it.
I think men and women are different and expect different things.
I think one component of it is, no matter what you do, it's not going to be the right thing.
Because there's a game of like cat and mouse or hard to get or something.
What do they call it?
The date guys.
What is it?
I don't know what they're called.
The pick-up artists.
They have a phrase for it.
It's some kind of test.
I don't know, BS test or something like that.
I don't know if it's true, but they'll get mad at you no matter what you do.
I don't know about all that stuff.
But I do think when you see like... Remember the Gillette commercial?
Where it was like toxic masculinity is bad?
Yes, some of it was toxic masculinity.
Some of it was like dudes just horsing around.
But that felt like a commercial written by a woman who doesn't understand men and doesn't want to understand men and just doesn't like men.
Like where does this come from?
You know what I mean?
I suppose we talk about in the context of a depopulation agenda this stripping away of masculinity.
But I wonder What the root is.
Because I genuinely don't think it's a grand conspiracy to take away masculinity.
I think what you probably have is... Actually, I'll break it down for you what I think we're seeing here.
With memes like this.
Women complain.
I'm not saying all women.
I'm not saying everyone.
I'm not saying women every time.
I'm saying there was a group of women and they complained about things.
Guys don't want to deal with it, say fine.
And that is the trend which leads to this massive over-feminization of society.
A guy grows up, and you know what I think?
I think most of you know this, because you're mostly dudes.
A man grows up with zero social value.
That's what they call it, social market value.
What value do you provide to society?
This is where things get interesting.
As a dude, nothing.
As you get older and develop skills and learn how to navigate the world and become the best, the best, the best, your value goes up.
You make more money.
You're attracting more women.
Now you're reaching your late 20s and all of a sudden you've got a job, you've got skills, you're making money, you've got a car.
Now younger women are into that.
You're gaining societal value.
But women around your age are starting to go down.
And this is not my opinion.
I don't think women become less valuable as they age, but that is what society shows in the studies.
Which, it's unfortunate.
Hey, I'm not in favor of it, it's just the way things are.
These women are now losing societal value and they started at 100.
I think I was reading this from OkCupid, this is what they talk about.
Women are prized by society for their ability to bear children.
I know, it's unfortunate.
I'm not saying I agree with it.
To a great degree, I think it is important and we do value it, but I'm not saying it should be the only determining factor for our women.
For young men, we don't need you.
One guy can have a hundred kids with a hundred women in nine months.
It's a lot of work for that guy, but it's possible.
I mean, probably a long shot, but you know, physically it can be done.
And so this is what happens.
If a guy has no skills, nobody cares.
Here's what I see happening.
Y'all grow up, and you've been crapped on, insulted, and devalued, and you're used to it.
You're used to no compliments.
You're used to it that no one will say nice things to you.
You are used to it that they will say, I could replace you in two seconds, you are worthless.
Women, less so.
Women are not used to that.
Women are used to being protected.
Women are used to growing up and having everyone say, we gotta keep you safe, boys can't hit girls.
Girls can do this, boys can't do that.
And yet, feminists are pushing the idea that it's the inverse.
Now, don't get me wrong.
Women, historically, have been overly protected for that reason.
But with that tremendous value, what do you see?
Substantially less likely to be homeless, less likely to take their own lives, less likely to be victims of violent crime.
As guys start getting more social value, and they hear women complaining about stuff, they say, I have dealt with so much in my life, I quite literally just don't care.
Fine.
You can have whatever you want.
Thus, the over-feminizing of society.
Look, I'm not a scientist.
I'm not going to come out and say I know everything about how everything is happening or whatever.
But I can tell you my experiences.
And I remember when I was growing up, and I was poor, and I needed work.
You know what every restaurant, every low-skilled job said to me?
I lived in an area, service industry area.
Every single bar and restaurant I went to said, we don't hire men.
To my face!
And I said, I'm gonna be homeless, like, I need work.
And one guy took pity on me and says, look man, come here Friday, Saturday night, I'll give you 50 bucks per night if you help clear the tables and clean things up.
Took pity on me.
He didn't need me to do it, but he knew that I was trying to find work, that I was honest, hardworking guy, nobody would hire me.
Here's the best part.
I get a job doing security at a venue.
You know, I'm like 21.
They're paying me $7 an hour to do it.
Security.
And I'm like the biggest guy in the world.
I'm fairly average.
For some reason, people think I'm short.
I don't know why.
I meet people and they're like, well, you're taller than I thought.
I'm like, yeah, I'm like 5'10".
5'10 and a half, 5'11".
I don't know.
Anyway, I'm working in the venue.
21-year-old women making hundreds of dollars per night bartending.
And they don't know how to bartend.
That's society.
I have my issues with it, but it is what it is.
And it was because older guys wanted the young women to pour him a drink.
And then they would tip the young girl tons of money, and I didn't have that.
So it's funny to see things like this.
Because these feminists, they really don't care to understand.
They just think, it's a boys' club, and boys can do whatever they want, and boys will be boys, and it's like, that's not true.
Man.
I don't know.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 8pm over at youtube.com slash timcastirl.
