Today is October 27, 2022, and our first story, a Democrat is blowing the whistle on a massive, widespread voter fraud scheme in Florida, alleging that ballot harvesters are paid $10 per ballot they collect illegally, very similar to claims made in the documentary 2000 Mules.
In our next segment, the New York Post is hacked.
Horrifying news stories are published, showing Ben Shapiro call for the death of AOC, among other reprehensible content.
And in our last story, Elon Musk?
He bought Twitter.
That's it.
TMZ is officially reporting the deal is closed.
If you liked the show, give us a good review, leave us five stars, and share the show with your friends.
Now, let's get into that first story.
Florida opens criminal probe.
Former candidate for Orange County Commissioner describes widespread vote trafficking operation in Orlando area.
Authorities see evidence to warrant criminal probe.
The claims made by this Democrat are that individuals targeted the black community to harvest ballots, to pressure individuals to turn over ballots, and that those that did received $10 for every ballot that was returned.
What's interesting is that similar claims were made in the documentary 2,000 Mules.
The media has said repeatedly that 2,000 Mules is debunked.
Well, I don't know a whole lot about 2020.
I know that right now, in August of 2022, a Democrat is blowing the whistle.
Just the News is reporting this, and they are NewsGuard certified.
Regardless of what you think about all of this, it's getting very, very interesting in the election, with the New York Post being hacked this morning, with shocking headlines being dropped, and I hate to say I called it, but what did I say in my earlier segment?
For those listening on the podcast, you'll hear this in the next segment.
But I said, you will get Democrats knowing this is fake, who will act like it is real.
And lo and behold, that's exactly what we're seeing from prominent Democrats decrying the New York Post saying these headlines are abhorrent.
How dare you?
Wow.
Democrats are actually trying to use hacked tweets and posts on the New York Post, and apparently the New York Post has issued a statement saying it was a rogue employee.
Things are getting crazy, man.
It's not just this alleged ballot harvesting scheme, which again corroborates, or I should say, doesn't corroborate, it is very similar to what 2,000 Mules said, what with the $10 per ballot.
We also have the lawsuits coming down.
The RNC is suing.
We have in Pennsylvania, they're saying it's going to take days to calculate who actually wins.
It's hard to know how things will play out, other than to say, while the polls have begun swinging heavily in favor of Republicans, the challenges, the October surprises, and the insanity It's all starting to heat up.
Videos of riots are popping up.
Interviews where people are claiming there is no Antifa.
Fact checks from Newsweek saying Antifa riots never happen.
Ted Cruz is lying.
The View coming out and defending Fetterman, saying it was ableism or that Dr. Oz was supposed to do no harm.
In one podcast, that's that I find particularly humorous, Politics Girl, who is a Democrat personality, says that Walker is unfit to serve and then goes on to defend Fetterman.
It's almost like these people just can't... It's like they can't be reasonable.
It's like they can't have a logic pathway follow to its natural conclusion.
Or they're just lying.
You know, I said this when it came to the New York Post getting hacked, that there's going to be stupid people who believe it and evil people who exploit it.
Because the New York Post put out headlines that were like Ben Shapiro calling for violence and just horrible things that were just clearly not true.
The New York Post published an article calling for violence against the president and things that were clearly not true, but they're trying to use it.
So I will tell you this as we read this story from the Democrat whistleblower.
Whenever they say debunked, they never actually elaborate on how or what that even means.
If someone comes out and says, here's a video of a person with a stack of ballots dropping it in a ballot box, I say, okay, you're gonna have to prove to me exactly what it is.
You can make your claims.
But certainly it is not debunked just by me saying, you know what?
That's not real!
Debunked!
And that's all the media ever does.
Give me some proof!
When you take a look at what's going on with the New York Post story, you realize they're lying.
Let's read.

Here's the story from just the news.
They say.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's new Election Crimes Unit has recommended state police open a full criminal investigation into a Democrat whistleblower's detailed complaint of a long-running, widespread ballot harvesting operation in the African-American communities in politically important Central Florida.
Former Orange County Commissioner candidate Cynthia Harris filed a sworn affidavit in late August with the Secretary of State's office alleging that illegal operations to collect third-party ballots have been ongoing for years in the Orlando area, where voting activists are paid $10 for each ballot they collect.
unidentified
Now, a sworn statement.

This woman, if she's lying, and they can prove she's lying, she's gonna get locked up.
I believe it.
I mean, I believe she's telling the truth.
Maybe she's wrong.
But here's a big story.
Let's see this covered more.
She described an intricate system funded by liberal-leaning organizations that dispatch ballot brokers into black communities to pressure voters to turn over their ballots.
The $10 fee per ballot is divvied up among the parties who help complete the harvesting.
The collection and delivery of ballots by third parties is illegal in Florida.
The newly created Office of Election Crimes and Security did a preliminary inquiry on Harris's allegations and concluded there was sufficient evidence to warrant a full criminal probe by the state police.
The Florida State Department told Just the News on Wednesday.
Granted, this story was published late last night.
The Florida Department of State, Office of Election Crimes and Security, was made aware of this issue around September 1st, 2022.
After further inquiry, OECS received additional information related to the allegations on October 17th, 2022, and performed a preliminary investigation.
Since OECS is an investigative entity and does not have authority to make arrests, the office forwarded the complaint to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for possible violation of Section 104-0616 Florida Statutes, it added.
The development in Florida adds an explosive new allegation to concerns nationwide that ballot trafficking is widespread in some battleground states.
A claim made famous by the research of the conservative watchdog group True the Vote and a documentary released earlier this year by filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza called 2000 Mules.
Arizona prosecutors have achieved several convictions in that state for ballot harvesting, most recently securing the guilty plea of a former Democrat mayor in Yuma County.
True the Vote filed a complaint in Georgia alleging thousands of ballots were harvested in the 2020 election, but those allegations have not yet been corroborated as authorities negotiate with a non-profit group for its evidence.
A Wisconsin investigation unmasked a sophisticated ballot harvesting effort targeting vulnerable nursing home patients in communities like Racine, Wisconsin.
And I will stress, we're hearing more and more about this.
The question is, to what degree is it widespread, how many ballots is it, and will it have a direct impact?
My advice to everyone involved, sue now.
If you are directly impacted by this, you have standing, you should sue, be it left or right or otherwise.
You know, the scariest thing to me is if this is true, then the system is broken.
If it's not true, then our confidence in the machine is completely broken and only getting worse.
Harris, who narrowly lost her election for county commissioner in August, described to Just the News her years-long knowledge of ballot harvesting in the black communities in Central Florida.
She even recorded a ballot broker coming to her home in 2017 to collect her ballot, and obtained the script that harvester was given by her bosses to make the pitch for a voter to turn over their ballot.
So what happens is in our community, when absentee ballots are mailed, you the candidate or any political party can find out when the absentee ballots are mailed and to whom what happens and to whom what happens is these ballot harvesters, they know which batch has gone out They go to the door and they ask you for your absentee ballot.
Just the news.
No noise.
Television show on what?
Harris told just the news.
Sorry.
It's a quote, so I was wondering why they put that in quotes, but Harris told just the news.
Quote, well, in communities that don't look like me, no one does this, she said, referring to white neighborhoods.
But in our community, it's kind of like an accepted practice that the man is coming by to pick up my absentee ballot or the lady is coming to pick up my absentee ballot.
In her sworn affidavit, Harris identifies specific individuals who direct and act as ballot brokers and were paid to collect ballots and provides intricate details.

Bye now.
I want to pause real quick, as this is particularly serious, and point out that JustTheNews is NewsGuard certified.
So if anybody you're sharing this with calls shenanigans or tries to claim this is bad reporting, it may be individually, but JustTheNews is certified by NewsGuard as not publishing false content.
That's important.
Here we go.
In her sworn affidavit, Harris identifies specific individuals.
Ballot brokers typically work up to a year in advance, she said.
Ballot brokers visit individuals in their residences and assist the individuals with filling out a request for a mail-in ballot.
After the mail-in ballot arrives, the voter is instructed to wait for the ballot broker's return to the individual residence.
They are asked to not seal the certificate envelope.
In rare circumstances, if the voter has filled the ballot and sealed the envelope, the ballot broker will take the ballot and then steam open the sealed envelope, the affidavit said.
The ballot broker will either correct any votes, if necessary, that were not voted according to their wishes or just throw them out.
unidentified
This is nuts!
tim pool
Harris described how, much as in Wisconsin, vulnerable patients in rehabilitation centers and nursing homes in Florida were targeted for ballot trafficking.
Quote, For nursing homes, ballot brokers get the list of residents
by cross-referencing the address with the voter registration list. The ballot broker figures out
the best way to make contact, usually through friends and family, that may or may not
know they are even part of a scheme.
They help the resident fill out the mail-in ballot or just take the mail-in ballot from
the nursing home and deliver it to the ballot broker.
Now, I want to pause and say Project Veritas recorded someone doing something not too dissimilar.
Not every state bans the practice of ballot harvesting.
In Florida, it is illegal.
Harris, who has worked as an election poll worker in the past, Said, I'm sorry, here we are, said her biggest concern in coming forward is that ballots collected by third parties have no chain of custody, making it easier to commit fraud, such as destroying a ballot or altering it.
You know it's just utterly ridiculous that people don't understand that once the ballot leaves your hand and is not placed in the mailbox, Or it's not directly given to the Supervisor of Elections, you don't know where it goes.
It's possible that they throw them away.
We've seen evidence of that.
I mean, imagine if the individual voted Republican, they'd be like, oh, thank you, and they'd throw it in the garbage.
That's why they don't want it sealed.
You see the steam open the ballots, and then they mismark them, so that if it's not for their candidate, then the ballot is spoiled.
So when people think the numbers are low, it's really not low.
It's just that someone has intercepted before it gets to the proper authorities.
Harris alleged that the Orange County Supervisor of Elections, who has held the office for 26 years, has turned a blind eye to ballot harvesting in her community.
Quote, This has been going on for so long.
You have to look at the Supervisor of Elections himself.
He's been there since 1996.
That's 26 years that this has been a blind eye turned on our community, the people that we entrust in the fair elections and the democratic process.
Well, I will pause right there and question the whistleblower themselves.
You said you filmed this in 2017.
You're only coming forward now after you lost your re-election?
I wonder.
I have to wonder.
The Office of the Orange County's Revisor of Elections, Bill Cowles, said in a response to a request for comment regarding Harris's claim that he is not aware of any issues regarding ballot harvesting, so he is unable to comment on that at this time.
The office added that if there are any issues that Harris is concerned about, we would recommend her filing a complaint with the state for investigation.
After voting ended in the August primary, Harris was in second place with a total of 3,158 votes on election night, which was supposed to trigger a runoff election because the candidate with the most votes didn't receive 51%.
There was supposed to be a recount, according to Harris, but somehow she kept losing votes instead of gaining votes.
So when they certified the votes, I was a total of 14 votes missing.
I know how to do basic math.
I don't understand how you could go down in numbers versus going up.
But the story that they told me was that the machine was fed extra ballots, and that's why I was six votes ahead of the person that came in third place.
Well, if I am six votes ahead of the person that came in third place at the end of the night, how do you lose 14 votes within a couple of days?
Florida has had other issues with regard to ballot harvesting over the years.
In 2005, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer was indicted on a felony charge of paying a campaign worker to collect absentee ballots before his 2004 election, along with three other similar charges.
The charges were dropped by the prosecutor who said that none of the persons indicted had intended to break the law.
It's amazing how that works, right?
Think about any other crime where intent is required.
That's just insane to me.
In 2013, a ballot harvester in Hialeah received one year probation as part of a plea deal after police said she collected at least 31 absentee ballots for the 2012 August primary election.
While a felony charge was dropped, the woman pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts of illegally possessing more than two ballots from other voters.
Now look, I get it.
If you're in a store, and you grab candy bars, or you forget, you didn't realize, you didn't intend to break the law, or if you're doing self-checkout, didn't scan, you didn't notice, and you walk out with it, you weren't intending to break the law, so I understand why intent does matter.
But, I think it's silly that you can have people commit voter fraud, and then they'll be like, well, they didn't know they were, so...
Now, the claims are particularly interesting, especially when juxtaposed with a May 27, 2022 fact check from Reuters.
Fact check.
Does 2,000 mules provide evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 U.S.
presidential election?
Well, let's see what their final determination is before we can read some things.
And we scroll down and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
They say verdict.
The documentary 2000 Mules does not provide any concrete, verifiable evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Technology and election integrity experts consulted by Reuters also did not find the geolocation, surveillance, or any other information presented showed plausible evidence of fraud.
The article was produced by the Reuters fact-check team.
Read more about our fact-checking work here.
Well, we can use words, that's for sure.
Words can be spun and twisted.
I don't know if 2,000 mules is direct evidence of voter fraud.
I would probably lean towards if you want to get nitty and gritty, it's not.
But I would say it's probable cause worthy.
There should be investigations over these claims.
I mean, I'll put it this way.
We're talking about intent to commit a crime.
If someone walks out of a Walmart with a candy bar they did not pay for, is that evidence they shoplifted?
Well, if you see somebody walk out... If you see someone grab a candy bar and then walk out of the building, is that evidence they shoplifted?
You could argue technically, yes.
I mean, right?
What if it turns out it's an old person who had dementia and they just got confused, forgot they grabbed it, and then they stood outside for a few minutes and spun in circles for a few seconds?
You see, the context really does matter.
In which case, you do have evidence that a shoplift may have occurred.
We should investigate and upon investigation we find out it's an old person with dementia and they're sad and confused and they immediately handed over the two dollars for the candy bar.
You see what I mean?
We see a lot of interesting things coming out of 2000 Mules.
What's particularly interesting, though, is they try to debunk many of the claims here, except it now seems that a Democrat in Florida is actually corroborating similar claims.
Let's read what they say.
Here we go.
Does it prove fraud?
Does it provide evidence?
Well, hold on there a minute, actually.
The headline is different from what their verdict asks.
Does 2000 Mules provide evidence?
Evidence is not proof, and proof does not mean definitive.
Look up the definitions.
As I already stated, evidence of shoplifting could be someone walking out of a building, but did they really shoplift, or are they confused?
Right?
So, 2000 Mules does provide evidence.
It doesn't prove anything happened in 2020.
It doesn't prove anything else.
But evidence enough to warrant, I'd say, a criminal investigation.
They say, a documentary directed by conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza claims it can prove widespread fraud was carried out during the 2020 presidential election in the United States.
I don't believe it can prove it.
I don't believe that's proven.
I've said it before, even Bill Barr claimed there's fraud.
The question is, is it proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it changed the outcome?
That I do not believe so.
But if fraud is happening, we should absolutely break it down.
And here's the other important part.
If 2,000 Mules comes out and says this, they could just be like, hey, why don't we investigate this to debunk it?
For some reason, they are adamant about not having adjudication or some kind of law enforcement action.
They say.
All five enlisted states were swing states in 2020.
Reuters has covered the topic.
DeSoto's documentary says Biden victories in swing states could be thanks to 2,000 people or mules who were hired by unnamed nonprofits dubbed stash houses to conduct ballot trafficking, i.e., stuffing numerous drop boxes with potentially fake absentee ballots.
It also alleges the so-called mules were paid $10 for every fake ballot they submitted.
Here's a possibility.
You have a Democrat running for office.
Let's argue that Democrats are corrupt, especially in Florida.
This Democrat claims to have evidence, but doesn't report it until after she loses?
Was this individual holding the claims as leverage in case the Democrats turned on her or something?
What if this individual is lying to discredit, or I should say lying to earn, to discredit Democrats or try and earn some favor because she saw 2,000 mules.
2,000 mules made a claim.
This is back in May.
About $10 for every ballot.
Now this woman comes out and says, oh yeah, yeah, $10 for every ballot.
Could she be basing her false claims off of 2,000 mules?
We need an investigation.
That's all I can really say because who knows, right?
I know you want to believe.
No, no, it's got to be... Show me.
Adjudicate it.
Bring it before a judge, have the evidence presented, and let's have an official legal statement and assessment as to what is really going on.
We have to.
Otherwise, things will only get worse.
I have no reason to doubt a sworn affidavit with a criminal probe.
But we'll see if it's proven so.
If we don't, you end up with this.
Intimidation complaint.
Claims voter was filmed and accused of being a mule at Mesa Dropbox.
The incident occurred Monday evening.
You'll also end up with this.
In this CNN video, it says, Bodycam video shows two men breaching Michigan voting machine in attempt to copy 2020 election data.
Now, these men came to this woman and said that they were essentially, you know, contacted, tracked by, like the DOJ, you know.
They're wearing bulletproof vests, body armor.
And they come in and said they needed to copy the machines before they were wiped.
I can understand why they wanted to do that.
Wiping the machines would destroy any evidence of anything that may have happened.
But it's still crazy that vigilantes effectively are coming in and doing this.
This was in Michigan.
Okay, man.
The system is broken.
That's really it.
New York Post.
Pennsylvania election results could take days, Secretary of the Commonwealth says.
If you are in Pennsylvania, and you are a voter, if you're running for office, you better sue now.
I would sue, and I would say right now, before it's too late, and say no.
The Constitution prescribes election day.
You have one day.
End of story.
And then the Democrats are going to cry, but we have mail-in votes!
Mail-in bails!
We have to count them!
Sorry.
I don't care.
You do not get to violate the Constitution and the rules without changing the Constitution.
Without a vote.
I mean, I'll put it this way.
If you cheat, or like if you're in a race, and then you argue you should get five seconds shaved off your time because we agreed in the rules, but I never agreed to that.
You can't just arbitrarily decide that something benefits you and then implement it.
Look at this.
The results of the Pennsylvania midterm elections could take days to tabulate, a state official said Wednesday.
Acting Secretary of the Commonwealth Lee Chapman told NBC's Chuck Todd that because of a state law restricting when mail-in ballots can begin to be counted, official results for pivotal races for the U.S.
Senate and the governor's mansion will not be available on election night.
Days.
And it's hard to estimate, Chapman told Todd on Meet the Press Now, when asked how long it could take to declare a winner in a race that could decide which party controls the Senate.
How is it that they're able to count almost all the votes on election day, but then these ones that come in the mail, we just can't do it?
I say shenanigans.
I say a court should rule no.
Now, to be real, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, I believe, is Democrat, so it's never going to happen.
And of course, we do have the RNC already filing suits, so.
I don't know about in Pennsylvania.
I can imagine it's in 20 different states.
They got over 70 lawsuits.
So, we'll see how this plays out.
Now, I want to highlight the depravity of what we're seeing.
New York Post employee responsible for vile and reprehensible content on website and Twitter accounts.
The cyber intrusion marks the second election season in a row.
The Daily has come under fire after reporting on information damaging to Joe Biden.
They say, according to a statement from the New York Post, it was a rogue employee.
The Post's investigation indicates that the unauthorized conduct was committed by an employee, and we are taking appropriate action.
This morning, we immediately removed the vile and reprehensible content from our website and social media accounts.
Here you go.
Jen Goodman, press secretary for the HOCL campaign, says our response to the New York Post this a.m.
The New York Post has long fostered an ugly, toxic conversation on their front pages and social accounts.
But these posts are more disgusting and vile than usual.
The New York Post needs to immediately explain how this reprehensible content was made public.
While the Post has made its preferences very clear in the New York Governor's race, there is no room for this violent, sexist rhetoric in our politics, we demand answers.
Evil.
Jen Goodman, Press Secretary for Hochul, this is evil.
She is evil.

Hey guys, Josh Hammer here, the host of America on Trial with Josh Hammer, a podcast for the First Podcast Network.
Look, there are a lot of shows out there that are explaining the political news cycle, what's happening on the Hill, the this, the that.
There are no other shows that are cutting straight to the point when it comes to the unprecedented lawfare debilitating I mean, that's it.
I was watching some of that politics girl podcast, Democrat, because I do listen to the left.

I mean, that's it.
I was watching some of that politics girl podcast, Democrat, because I do listen to
the left.
And she said, do Republicans have anything to say why they won't vote Democrat other
than Democrats are evil?
Democrats are evil.
Not all of them are evil.
This one's evil.
And I'll tell you why I won't be voting for them.
It was very clear and obvious to everyone that the New York Post was hacked.
Many journalists commented this.
I said, as soon as it happened, in my morning show, which, for those listening, you'll hear in the next segment, in the podcast version, I said there's going to be Democrats who will take this and they will use it.
They will claim it's real and this is exactly what they're doing.
So okay, let's entertain two possibilities.
Jen Goodman and Hochul are extremely stupid or they know what they're doing and they're lying because...
Many people won't actually investigate what happened.
They will only hear the statement.
Did you see what the New York Post was posting?
Oh my.
We need to save democracy.
And we issued a stern letter rejecting the violent rhetoric in our politics.
What's the point of this?
It's insane.
Let's see, Joe Biden vowed to end fossil fuels.
I disagree with that.
He shut down the Keystone Pipeline.
I disagree with that.
He banned fracking on certain lands.
I disagree with that.
He then went and begged Saudi Arabia for oil.
I really disagree with that.
He botched Afghanistan.
I disagree with that.
He's abusive towards children.
I don't like that.
His son, Burisma, the quid pro quo.
Hey!
There's a lot of reasons why I won't vote for these Democrats, but let me tell you why I wouldn't vote for any of the other Democrats.
It's because when they vowed to focus on kitchen table issues in 2018 and got elected, they immediately just impeached Donald Trump.
Talk about a waste of our time.
It's pathetic.
It's insane.
And that's what you get when you vote for these people.
Well, here we go.
The new predicted betting trends.
Which party will control the Senate after 2022?
On September 8th, Democrats had 68%.
Today, Republicans have 70.
That's right.
538 has moved up Republicans' chance of winning by two more points to 46%.
That's incredible.
But when you actually break down the fact that Democrats only need to defend to win, let's say we remove a 50-50 split, there is a greater chance that Republicans have 51 seats than Democrats gain 51 seats.
If the Democrats can hold a 50-50 split, Kamala Harris will be the tiebreaker and they will retain the majority in the Senate.
It is currently up to 82 scenarios in 100 that Republicans win the House.
Over at RealClearPolitics, this is surprising, the Republicans' generic ballot lead drops as Democrats see some improvement with the latest polling.
Somehow, though, over at FiveThirtyEight, Democrats have tanked, and Republicans are improving.
Republicans now have a 0.6% lead on 538, and over at RealClearPolitics, they have a 2.3% lead.
Here's what I think.
I think everyone knows the Democrats are busted.
Here's Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks.
LA is a mess. There's trash all over the roads. Cops don't respond to calls. It's close to anarchy here.
Is Garcetti already in Mumbai? Is anything, is anyone running the city? Karen Bass seems to be saying she's going
to maintain the status quo.
She knows how to work the system. No, thanks.
Well, this is what y'all advocated for.
When even the Young Turks are coming out saying crime is through the roof, then I am pretty sure that Democrats can't win on this issue.
And it's a very serious issue.
Woman 22 is repeatedly punched in the face and shoved down the stairs at Queen's Station, leaving her with a fractured back in latest random attack.
Crime has soared 41%.

Federman claims he raised more than $2 million in the hours after train wreck debate with Dr. Oz, while Tucker Carlson calls for Senate hopefuls doctor to be stripped of his medical license for declaring him fit to serve.
Listening to Politics Girl, she said that being a senator isn't just saying yay or nay.
You have to go to committee hearings and meetings and debate.
She's right.
But she was saying for that reason, Herschel Walker is too stupid to be in the Senate.
I'm not a fan of Walker.
I don't think.
I wouldn't vote for him, but it's better than the Democrat, I guess, and that's a problem, isn't it?
Now with Fetterman, same thing applies.
Let's be real.
Walker may not be as bright, But there's a big difference between that and Fetterman being impaired.
But there is something interesting there, and I think I can relate to the Democrats.
Yeah, I'd rather have Walker than a Democrat.
Because the Democrats are going to vote to destroy the economy.
Like, hello, how about sending money to Ukraine, which we shouldn't be doing?
How about shutting down Keystone Pipeline, which we shouldn't be doing?
All of these things that they're doing.
How about the Inflation Reduction Act, which hasn't actually reduced inflation, just mass-increased spending?
Come on.
Take a look at the charts, you can see that the Democrats' actions have resulted in negative consequences.
What they come out and say is, if Republicans win, they might do this.
Well, they might do a lot of things, but I'll take my chances watching you burn it all down.
How about that?
So I get it.
They look at Fetterman, and they're like, don't know, don't care, Oz is worse.
And I'm like, okay, well I look at Fetterman and see someone who's incapable of doing the job, and I see Dr. Ross, who kind of does suck, agreed, how about that?
But I'd rather have the Republican.
I'm hoping that enough MAGA first Republicans get in that it stops the machine from funneling our money to the war machine.
But I understand the perspective from many on the left.
You know, they're in a bubble.
They believe fake news.
They think they're the only ones who know the truth.
It's kind of paradoxical, isn't it?
That I can say that they're in a bubble, and they think they know the truth, as if to imply only we do.
No, I know some things.
I know that the Republicans are not all good.
I know that many of them are bad.
I know that many of them aren't worth voting for.
And I know that the Democrats are substantially worse.
I know that people like Bill Kristol and other neocons fled to the Democratic Party.
All of a sudden, now the Bulwark's posting pro-choice content.
It's insane.
Because they're uniparty elitists and it's all fake news.
Jon Stewart came out recently and he said that Hunter Biden's Burisma deal was pure corruption.
Wow.
Jon Stewart also said Lab League hypothesis was probably correct.
Wow.
Yeah, the Democrats might try to reel things in, but they're insane right now.
What they're doing in schools, they call it book banning.
And I'm like, you know, saying you can't have a Playboy in school isn't banning books, dude.
Sorry, that's stupid.
What's being banned, mostly, are books with sexual depictions in them.
Any other book, like Catcher in the Rye, ever being banned?
I disagree with.
Now, there are certain adult subject matters in certain books.
That's going to have to be up for the parents to decide.
That I understand.
But you can't conflate saying, like, the political ideas of this book are reprehensible, so it's banned, with, this book contains lewd images and adult content.
That's what they're doing.
We'll see.
In 2016, Democrats denied the election.
In 2020, Republicans did.
I hate it.
I'm annoyed by all of it.
But there are real procedural issues that are being uncovered.
Y'all better sue now.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 8 p.m.
over at youtube.com slash timcastIRL.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
The New York Post has begun posting on Twitter and on their website a bunch of extremely psychotic, insane messages.
Talk about an October surprise.
And this one that I'm highlighting to open.
It is a fake headline of Greg Abbott apparently saying he's going to murder illegal immigrants.
There's a more egregious one, but I'm going to wait a little bit before showing you everything because there's basically... It appears the New York Post has been hacked.
Now, I don't... I'm assuming it's a hack.
Somebody broke in and started putting up a bunch of stories about conservatives changing the headlines to make it seem like they're calling for murder and death.
These images will probably be archived and shared.
The New York Post is deleting them like crazy.
I don't know exactly what's going on.
We don't have confirmation on a hack, rogue employee, what it might be.
unidentified
But the posts are real.
tim pool
I've saved one.
I have archived one.
Now, the New York Post is purging and deleting these as quickly as they can.
But we have this Twitter thread from Sarah Weaver, reporter for the Daily Caller, who says, the New York Post Twitter account was just hacked.
I'm now going to pull up an article that YouTube may not appreciate.
It's fake.
It's hacked.
You should be aware of this.
But I need to show you the severity of what's happening.
A New York Post article calling for the assassination of AOC purportedly by Ben Shapiro.
This has already been deleted.
I saw the tweet pop up.
I clicked on it.
It is real.
The URL is available there at the top of the screen, but the article is gone.
Ben Shapiro, of course, did not say this.
But I think it's extremely important that we discuss it.
Now, I don't know if these articles are real or fake.
The article itself may be real.
The headlines may be what have been hacked so far.
So I'm not entirely sure.
There's a handful.
Sarah Weaver, of course, highlights the Greg Abbott post.
The AOC post.
Here's another image.
I don't know what this one says.
I'm not going to show what these posts say.
They're extreme.
They're offensive.
They're violent.
Wow, man.
All I can really say is things are getting absolutely crazy.
Absolutely crazy indeed to see these posts.
They're being deleted very very quickly.
That's all I can say.
I don't know who would do something like this, but I can tell you that I've been saying for quite some time that we are getting dangerously close to civil war.
Now, this may be but a grain of sand.
Obviously, the New York Post isn't writing these stories.
They're not real stories.
They may actually be real bodies of text written by somebody, but the headlines appear to be fake.
So, what does it all mean?
The escalation is upon us, my friends.
There are going to be screenshots.
There's going to be archives proving the posts are real.
I'll put it this way.
I personally have archived the AOC article.
As soon as I saw it, I saved it.
Because I want proof that it happened.
Now, as I... So, there's a couple ways you can archive things.
One, we really do want archive.ph or archive.is sources because it actually grabs the site.
However, by the time I saw it, within a few minutes, the New York Post was aware, they took it down.
But, I also saved the HTML raw file from the site as another means of archiving it.
Because I want people to know that this hack did happen.
Now, I'm assuming, by the time you're watching this, the New York Post may have already put out a statement pertaining to what happened.
But, there's going to be a lot of people who believe it.
That's all that matters.
Right now, you have a left and a right who see the world fundamentally differently from each other.
Now, I think it's fair to say.
What the left believes is a crackpot world of insanity.
I mean, do I go through the list again every time?
The Trayvon Martin story.
NBC News edited the audio to make it sound like George Zimmerman was racist.
It's fake.
Hands up, don't shoot.
The Obama administration determined that was not true.
Michael Brown did not have his hands up.
That's the Obama administration.
Oh, now they'll say, oh, but Obama was conservative.
Whatever.
They haven't said that for some time.
Russiagate.
That was fake.
How much money and how much time was spent wasted?
How about the noose found in the NASCAR garage?
Turned out to be a garage pull rope.
Covington Catholic.
That turned out to be innocent kids who were actually assaulted by an adult man and they made him the bad guy.
Kyle Rittenhouse.
What did they say about him over and over again, that he shot black people?
All of it lies!
And this is how they do it.
Now there are going to be people sharing screenshots saying, yo, this was real.
You're going to see a lot of these people, and a lot of people are going to fall for it, but that's not the point.
The point is, we are in the midst of the midterms right now.
Unconstitutionally, there is an ongoing election month happening.
Tell me how that happens.
And there are going to be old people who see this and they're going to go, the Republicans are just so crazy!
There are going to be malicious actors who will take these screenshots and say, definitively, factually, these are real.
Maybe you could argue voter intimidation, fraud, or voter manipulation or interference, but they're going to come out and they're going to say, these are real stories.
Now I don't know how far they'll go with it.
This looks more like a subversive campaign.
But they could literally take these screenshots and put them on TV and say these are real images from articles.
Now, the New York Post, they could try and sue, but the reality is they are real images.
They are real articles.
The New York Post is deleting them, will probably issue a statement about being hacked.
I'd imagine something happened.
The fact is, there's going to be at least some people who will believe this stuff is real.
I'll give you a real world example.
I believe this was around 2013.
The Associated Press on Twitter got hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army.
Young people who hack accounts.
This guy we believe was in Russia.
The AP tweeted that there was an explosion at the White House and that Obama had been injured.
I think it was the S&P or the DOJ, a major stock market collapse, nearly $10 billion.
And then once news broke that it was a hoax, the market recovered somewhat 90%.
So there was still market damage.
But the crazy thing was, many people had forced sell-offs.
Because the way it works is, you say, if my stock, you know, it's at $100, if it drops to $95, automatically sell so I don't lose money.
When the fake news happened, tons of people sold, triggering auto sales, triggering an automatic cascade.
Group A, sell off.
And they were tricked.
Automatically, buy orders are triggered.
Where they say, if it drops to 90, buy.
Spiking back up a $9 billion, I believe it was around $9 billion, transfer of wealth in an instant from one hacked tweet.
This does have an impact.
You don't believe me that we're heading towards civil war.
You don't have to.
I could be wrong.
Completely wrong.
But I've been reading, reading a whole lot.
And it's funny when, you know, we had a super chat the other day on TimCast IRL where somebody said, Tim, you know so little about the Civil War for someone who talks about it so much.
And I'm like, uh-huh.
It's really funny when, like, I know more than the overwhelming majority of people because I've been reading tons about it.
However, there is a massive amount of people who know more than me because I am no historian.
But man, I gotta tell you, the things that I've learned that have changed my perspective just from talking with historians, and I've talked with several, reading academic papers, and watching some documentaries, still, Far from an expert on any of the Civil War matters.
But man, you know, I've known some stuff from growing up, because obviously in a big city they tell you that the Civil War was fought over slavery, and that's a gross oversimplification.
In fact, technically you could argue it wasn't fought over slavery, it started because of slavery.
The fighting was for a variety of reasons.
But you learn a lot of this, man.
Only when you start digging into it, the average person has no idea.
No idea that there were four states that only joined the Confederacy because Abraham Lincoln called 75,000 troops, militia, to suppress the South.
And that's interesting.
Then you had a state like North Carolina that was in the Union, and they did not secede, and then Abraham Lincoln says, we're sending in the troops, and they said, I will stand against you.
For that reason, you can see that the session for these four states was not principally about slavery.
Anyway, I've been harping about that quite a bit, because of how insane things are getting.
Here you go, ladies and gentlemen.
Democrats blow whistle on alleged ballot harvesting scheme.
Florida opens criminal probe.
Man.
You know, I was planning on doing a much larger segment on this for 4 p.m., and I still might.
Because, but when I saw the article about AOC, I was just like, holy wow, man.
Democrat blows whistle on alleged ballot harvesting scheme.
Florida opens criminal probe.
Maybe I'll get into it in greater detail around 4 p.m., but here's another story.
Pennsylvania election results.
Could take days, Secretary of the Commonwealth says.
Here's one more for you.
RNC files over 70 lawsuits to challenge states on election rules.
A civil war.
I can't imagine anything else.
I can't.
I'm sorry.
I don't know.
You know, I don't know exactly what form it will take, what shape it will take, I have no idea, but tell me please how everything we're seeing resolves amicably and peacefully.
Who broke in to the New York Post content management system and was able to post all of these things?
Every day, I read the news.
I see lies.
Do a Google search for Fetterman.
What do you see?
Almost every article is pro-Fetterman.
I mean, the dude could not speak!
Crazy.
Pull up Elon Musk.
Anti-Elon Musk.
Pull up Dr. Oz.
Everything is anti-Dr. Oz.
Fetterman's claiming he's raised nearly, what are we at?
Two million dollars?
It's getting crazy out there.
I just saw a video It was, uh, what do they call him, MAGA Hulk?
A guy was going to be speaking at a Turning Point USA event.
Antifa showed up and brutally beat and assaulted people.
We have these videos.
It's the midterm.
A lot of people aren't paying attention.
2024, that's when they say it's going to get crazy, but I think the primary elections are going to get crazy.
I mean, if Trump announces he's running, the left is going to claim... I think we're going to start seeing open calls for secession.
I really do.
We already saw the Boston Globe thing back in 2020, I believe.
The Boston Globe ran that story about the Democrats' D&D session, Dungeons and Dragons.
They did their war game on how things would play out and they basically said civil war if Trump wins.
Has that sentiment gone?
Has it de-escalated or has it gotten worse?
I think it's fairly obvious, ladies and gentlemen, everything has only gotten worse.
Pointing out the article on AOC.
Here's the scary element to it.
I was actually planning on talking about like Elon Musk this morning.
I did this big thing and then it was like 9.15 a.m.
9.12 or something.
The New York Times starts dropping all of these articles, like posting them like crazy.
And it's just like, yo, dude, are you kidding?
Now, is this supposed to help Democrats hurt Republicans?
I don't know, man.
But you see how dirty and insane it's getting.
The implication that Ben Shapiro would say such a thing about AOC is absurd.
But this seems planned.
They know that Ben Shapiro has been critical of AOC.
There was the memes about him debating her.
Seems like they planned that on purpose.
Abbott calling for the murder of illegal immigrants.
These headlines appear to have been planned in advance.
So who did it?
Maybe it's Antifa.
Maybe it's some far leftists, right?
Perhaps.
Maybe it's China.
And that's what's scary.
I don't think that a true threat from China would unify this country.
It's possible, and I would imagine probably more likely, that it was Russia or China that broke into the New York Post and started changing these headlines to sow discord within the United States.
That's substantially more likely.
But it won't matter.
The distrust and the discontent is too expansive.
Much too expansive.
With everything that's going on around the elections.
Right now, you've got armed men watching ballot boxes, as they're allowed to do.
You're allowed to be armed, you're allowed to wear bulletproof vests, and you're allowed to watch a ballot dropbox.
In fact, I think ballot dropboxes should not exist.
This mail-in voting month doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter what you think.
It doesn't matter what I think.
It doesn't matter which side you're on.
What matters is that distrust exists.
And the escalation is happening.
A woman getting in the face of these guys screaming, the cops get called out, and my fear, as well as the ideological opponents over at the bulwark, we see something similar.
I think November 8th may get particularly scary as we see this kind of stuff drop.
I think it could get very scary.
Armed groups show up in certain states, swing states.
Hillary Clinton already coming out saying Trump is planning on stealing the midterms.
Democrats are already saying the Republicans are planning on, I'm sorry, Trump is planning on stealing 2024, and the Republicans are planning on stealing the midterms.
Although, Vanity Fair, Democrat media, they are saying Trump is going to steal the midterms and 2024.
Hillary Clinton said Trump is planning on stealing 2024, and so are MAGA Republicans.
Joe Biden comes out and says MAGA Republicans are extremists.
We then see a guy in Florida mercilessly beaten.
They claim that he was a neo-Nazi.
Yeah, I don't care, dude.
I don't like them, you know, but what matters is the escalation is happening.
There's no simmering down.
Politics has become pop culture.
You've got people like Ethan Klein, somebody who doesn't know anything about politics, history, or anything like that.
All of a sudden, this edgy comedy podcaster is now talking politics all day, doing a podcast on socialism.
Yo, that's insane.
It's a crazy thing to watch, I'll tell you this.
And I'll tell you, you gotta be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
I remember when I was younger, thinking like, I wished people cared more about politics than they care about sports.
And to a certain degree, I think that's still a good position to hold, but I think we can see the unintended consequences, I'll put it that way.
The inadvertent results.
You know, I used to see people, they'd go to sporting events, and there was thousands and thousands, and I'm like, why don't they care about war?
Why don't they care that people are being blown up?
They won't listen, they don't want to talk about it.
Why don't they care about Building 7?
I don't know.
They don't.
Now they do.
Not so much Building 7, but politics.
The problem is, many of these people are being lied to and manipulated, and it's bolstering the ranks of the extremist factions.
And that's going to result in, I guess, chaos.
I'll tell you something else, though, as an aside.
I was watching Nathan For You.
Have you guys ever seen that show?
Hilarious show.
It's really good.
And it's like an episode I'm watching from like 2014 where he's trying to help a dating website and they get this woman and she's like, she's cast on the show to be the woman to go on a date.
She goes on a date and they include this random clip.
I have no idea why.
And she goes, you know, if a plane hit building towers one and two, I can understand that, but how did building seven come down?
And then the date goes, what's building seven?
And I'm just like, what?
Comedy Central put that in the show.
It's on HBO Max right now.
It's the dating website episode of Nathan For You.
Watch it.
It's crazy.
I guess they put Nathan For You on it and now everyone's talking about it or whatever.
He's got a new show coming out.
Anyway, I digress.
People started getting involved in politics, but they're not smart enough, and they are angry enough, and that's when you get chaos.
I mean, people are allowed to be, you know, stupid people are allowed to vote.
You know, that's a reality.
But it's just, I don't know, man.
It's so crazy.
State actors, would you agree with me on that one?
Comment, let me know what you think, because I seriously do think it's more likely Russia or China.
In fact, I think Russia, either is a good play for this.
And I'll tell you why.
If the Republicans win, then the Ukraine conflict is done.
If Trump gets in office, he's gonna be like, we're done with this, we are no longer supporting Ukraine.
If the Republicans win the midterms, they may issue formal legislative action, you know, and try and supersede, file a lawsuit against, you know, Joe Biden for sending this money and start voting against it.
Ukraine could get crushed in two seconds.
It would avoid World War III, so not all bad.
Maybe the discontent and these posts that we're seeing pop up are intended to cause discord, helping one side or the other win.
It could be the left doing it.
I mean, let's put it right on the nose.
Let's say that leftists in the U.S.
did this because they want Republicans to lose because they want war.
Let's say it was U.S.
intelligence that did it because they want to keep funding our efforts in Ukraine so they need Republicans to lose.
That makes sense.
I think foreign adversary makes the most sense, but I gotta be honest, it could be anybody.
It could be some bored teenager.
It could be a Joker-type person who just wants to watch the world burn.
It could be U.S.
intelligence agencies breaking in and manipulating, trying to help Democrats win because they want to support the war in Ukraine.
It could be China.
They want the U.S.
in chaos so that they can move on Taiwan.
It could be Russia.
It could be Antifa.
It could just be some angry leftist making Republicans look bad.
I don't think that one is the case necessarily, Natalia.
Because, uh, this wouldn't actually do it.
I mean, somebody who hates Republicans like Antifa wouldn't post these things that are so obviously fake.
They'd want it to look more realistic.
They'd want people to genuinely believe.
You know, but maybe... Maybe, man.
I don't know.
I can tell you, there may be a major financial crash heading our way next year.
Republicans win in a week and a half or so.
You then get, over the next few months, the economy starts bubbling over and dropping and just falling apart.
The Democrats then say, you see what you did?
We were the only one saving you, and they try to use that for 2024.
This is the dirtiest I've seen politics in this country.
Dirtiest.
You've got Whitmer lying about her school policies.
You've got Hochul lying about crime and saying, why do you care?
Crime skyrocketing.
I will tell you the Democrats are burning this country to the ground.
Period.
The Republicans do a whole lot of nothing.
You know, they got their share of warmongers too, but I mean, that's it.
I saw this poll, it was really funny, and it was something like, people who aren't Republicans, but they were expressing how much they hate the Democratic Party.
And I'm like, that's funny.
Democrats... Democrats have a lot of cult members.
A lot of independents, it's two to one, they don't like Democrats.
But I just look at the Democratic Party as pure evil garbage.
I look at the Republicans as Uniparty trash, for the most part.
But the Democrats really are just like, pander to the extremists, burn it all to the ground, and then, uh, you pay the bills.
We'll see what happens.
Maybe we'll get an update on this by later today, but this is breaking right now.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment is coming up at 1pm on this channel.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
TMZ is now officially reporting that the Twitter deal has closed.
Elon Musk has acquired Twitter.
We've already got photos of him standing at Twitter at The Perch, their little bar, talking to all the employees.
Now, we do have some other confirmation.
It appears that Twitter will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange effective Friday after Musk completes the deal.
I have no idea what that means for the tiny amount of stock that I have in the company, 22 shares.
I think they're like, mailing me a check or something.
I have no idea.
Elon!
I want my money!
Actually, I wouldn't mind if they kept it.
I don't care, you know.
I mean, like, if I got to keep a small, tiny percentage of the company when it went private.
But, uh, they're saying outright that the deal is done.
Now, Elon Musk issued a statement to advertisers saying that he's going to make sure it is the most respectful place for advertisers.
It's warm and welcoming.
He's responded to Zoobi.
When stating that you need to find a way to monetize for the most active users, and that's true because... You know, look, I post a bunch of garbled nonsense.
I get hundreds of thousands of views on my tweets, and I get nothing for it, so... You need to figure that one out, Elon.
That's a fair point.
People might actually start taking the platform seriously if it's a part of their business.
Right now, to me, Twitter is mostly a joke.
That's why I tweeted that Elon should make a new verification badge, except it just verifies that you're a fascist and the badge is red.
That's what I use Twitter for.
But here's the news, and then we're gonna go through all of the tweets.
And yes, my friends, the leftists break down.
Everyone's apparently jumping ship to tribal social.
Well, a handful of people.
So I signed up to check it out, and I just posted one thing.
I was like, y'all are in a cult.
Because they have an algorithm that bans news they don't like.
They call it fake news, but it's like literally banning a video of the Pfizer executive talking about transmission of vaccine and stuff like that.
So here's a story from TMZ.
Elon Musk is officially Twitter's new daddy, at least according to Elon Musk, who says he hopes the platform will continue to be a digital town square for years to come.
The Tesla SpaceX boss explained his reason for the 44 billion dollar purchase Thursday, saying,
there is currently great danger that social media will splinter into far right wing and
far left wing echo chambers that generate more hate and divide in our society.
He continues, in the relentless pursuit of clicks, much of traditional media has fueled and catered
to those polarized extremes, as they believe that is what brings them the money. But in doing so,
the opportunity for dialogue is lost. He says, this is why I bought Twitter. I didn't do it
because it would be easy. I didn't do it to make more money.
I did it to try to help humanity whom I love.
And I do so with humility, recognizing that failure in pursuing this goal, despite our best efforts, is a very real possibility.
Very real possibility, a very high probability, good sir.
You see, Elon, come on.
Let's have a conversation, buddy.
I would like to have a conversation with you.
A lot about social media, you know.
I would love, and obviously it would be great for me, but I would love to do a sit-down with Joe Rogan and Elon Musk as a follow-up to the Twitter show that we did several years ago.
And, you know, Elon doesn't have a reason to do it.
Joe's already had the biggest show in the world.
It would be better for me, but I do think it would be fruitful.
Because I think Elon needs to understand something.
I have been, you know, Elon's been a tech guy for a long time.
He's been in computers probably longer than I have because he's older than me.
But I've been on the internet since like early 90s, late.
My family had a DOS computer with CompuServe back in like, you know, the late 80s or whatever.
And we had CompuServe, we had AOL, we had WebTV.
We were very tech savvy.
I built my first computer when I was like, how old was I?
I was probably 8 or 9, maybe 9 years old I think was when I built my first computer.
So I've been working with computer stuff, but I'm not like a programmer or anything.
I did used to make video games.
I used to program video games and websites and things like that.
But here's the issue with the far right wing and left wing echo chambers that Elon Musk is hoping to avoid.
You can't.
You can't do it.
And I'll tell you why.
What's happened with social media is a natural progression of technology and the human psyche, and I don't see it panning out in any other way.
So let me explain.
Systems have been built.
You could tear them down.
I mean, maybe that's what needs to happen.
That's why I often joke about just outright pressing off on Twitter.
Here's something you can do, Elon.
Turn Twitter off, except for like one hour every day or something.
But no, here's my point.
You can't stop the bifurcation.
When Facebook first emerged, it was a natural development of what the Internet was.
And, you know, if you look back now, it seems kind of obvious this thing would have happened.
You had chat rooms.
People had email lists.
There were bulletin board systems.
People were seeking ways to be social on the Internet.
I mean, it's basically the point, right?
Excuse me.
Eventually, you end up with things like YouJournal and LiveJournal and precursors to social media, like, you know, the Bolton Board Systems, BBS.
Eventually, you get Friendster.
And I remember Friendster.
Everyone's like, oh, sign up.
You got pictures of your profile, whatever.
And then everyone said, no, no, MySpace is better.
And then we were like, I guess I'll sign up for MySpace.
And we were, like, bouncing around.
And then you end up with Facebook.
And then eventually everyone migrates to Facebook.
Facebook holds out for a long time, becomes the dominant platform for a while now.
Facebook is trying to figure out how to make you stay on the platform longer.
Obviously they would, right?
So what happens is they say, in the early days people had like 300 friends.
They would friend people and it's like between 100 and 300 people.
When someone posts something, it's reverse chronological order, you see what your friends are posting.
Eventually, however, people start making pages.
You know, not just, you know, Facebook says it's not just about people, it's about, you know, things you might like, bands.
Now people are clicking like.
Now their feed is littered with garbage.
And so people stop using the platform, or they slow down.
So Facebook says, we need to find a way to maximize the use of this platform.
So they create the algorithm.
The algorithm says what people interact with the most, we want them to see the most.
So they stay on the platform longer.
A natural thing to do for any business that's trying to maximize its ad revenue.
Obviously with the videos I make, it is beneficial.
I should say, that I make 20 minute to 30 minute segments and host a two and a half hour show because people stay on the platform longer and it generates more ad revenue.
That's not for me on purpose, it's just I fall into that position.
Some people like Seamus, Freedom Tunes, he makes 30 second to two minute videos, sometimes longer, it's harder to monetize.
So there's a monetary benefit for content like the content I make.
Eventually.
What ends up happening with this algorithm is that social justice issues, or I should say justice issues, becomes prominent.
Police brutality becomes the dominant platform.
I'm sorry, the dominant content.
For a while it was like Ron Paul stuff, because the Ron Paul love revolution back in 2008 or whatever.
And then eventually, like Mike.com is a great example, they changed to social justice.
Why?
What was getting the most shares was social justice content.
This instantly creates a bifurcation.
Those who are hyper-online are inundated with social justice, and those in rural areas that are online less, or were, are not.
Society fractures.
Take a look at Twitter now.
There's no solving this problem, dude.
I don't see Twitter as being a solution to the problem.
Already the left is fleeing to tribal social.
You've got Parler, you've got Truth, you've got Gab.
Twitter may be a central hub in whatever the social media ecosystem is, but I don't see you solving this problem.
I mean, maybe I'm wrong, okay?
I would assume, you know, I don't know.
I could be wrong.
But I don't see a path away from two fractured cultures that believe fundamentally different things.
Twitter's whole ecosystem was stopping real information that made the left look bad, banning conservatives, for the most part.
Some of the left do get banned, don't get me wrong.
But what do you do, Elon?
If you now course correct and allow Alex Jones and Trump back on the platform and Laura Loomer and Milo Yiannopoulos, etc., advertisers are going to complain, you're going to lose money, and then the left is going to complain, and that's it.
Perhaps a membership model Maybe.
I think Elon's a smart guy.
I think he can figure out a lot of things.
encourage people to pay for Twitter blue, which is one thing they've been doing.
Maybe.
I think Elon's a smart guy.
I think he can figure out a lot of things.
Maybe there's a way to make Twitter function, but I don't know how you solve the problem
of the culture crisis.
Now, Seeking Alpha says Twitter is suspended from the New York Stock Exchange effective
Friday, which means the deal is a happening.
But we got a bunch of stuff to go through.
And we'll start with this photo.
You can see Elon Musk is here and he's talking.
Look at that face!
AP for Liberty says you're fired.
Jason Rink posted that face when a literal fascist becomes your CEO.
Dude, Elon Musk is not a fascist.
But boys, there's a lot going on.
So this is a letter that Elon Musk posted today to advertisers.
Okay dude, look, I just gotta say, nice try.
I can respect it, I just don't see it as being a reality that advertisers are going to play this game.
Elon, the culture war runs deep.
These advertising agencies, as we've- I've already tracked this years ago.
This is 2018 I'm reporting on this.
Advertising agencies overlap with Democratic voters on Twitter.
Why?
Big ad agencies are probably in New York and they believe this stuff.
Let me see if I can find this tweet.
I got so much stuff pulled up.
Here's Stephanie Guevara on Twitter saying, Hey Elon Musk, thanks for visiting Twitter.
Hope you enjoyed your coffee at the perch.
Just one question, was it fun to look at the face of the people who said you'd be laying off?
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Let me see if I can find this tweet.
Here we go, here we go.
Let me play this video for you, but first, let me just tell you that Elon Musk is not going to be laying people off.
of them. Let me play this video for you, but first let me just tell you that Elon Musk
is not going to be laying people off. He's backtracking on his vow to cull 75% of people.
So here's the video.

Welcome to a day in my life as a Twitter employee.
So this past week went to SF for the first time at a Twitter office, badged in, honestly took a moment to just soak everything in.
What a blessing.
Also started my morning off with an iced matcha from the pit.
Then I had a meeting, so quickly scheduled one of these little pod rooms, which were so cool.
They're literally noise cancelling.
Took my meeting, got ready for a bunch.
Look how delicious this food looks!
Oh my goodness, I was so overwhelmed.
Done!
Made my way down to this log cabin area.
I don't know what this is, but it was really cool.
Played some foosball with my friends to kind of unwind a bit.
Also found this really cool meditation room that I thought was super neat.
I don't do any yoga, but they have this yoga room if you are a yogi, so also thought that was really cool.
Had a couple more meetings in the afternoon.
Had a ton of projects that we needed to knock out.
Say hi to my teammates!
Went to the library to kind of get some more work done.
Obviously had to have our afternoon coffee, so made some espresso.
And then before leaving for the day, had some red wine that's on tap.
Went up to the rooftop and just honestly enjoyed the beautiful weather.
So, awesome trip.
tim pool
Uh-huh.
That's a day in the life of a Twitter employee.
I'm not surprised by the video because I've been to Silicon Valley offices.
I've been to Google offices.
I worked for New York Media.
But I know that in the heart of this country, there are many people who do real labor.
I am a firm believer that if middle America, if the working class actually knew what it was like in Silicon Valley and New York media, there would be a revolution overnight.
I talk about it all the time.
These woke leftists, they don't even come into work.
For that matter, I'll also point out, even here at TimCast, there's a lot of downtime.
And it's kind of a silly place to work.
Just skate in the middle of the day and stuff like that.
This is how things go in media.
You see, there's a lot of money in these industries.
Now, that's why I am grateful and I respect people who do real work.
I think it's fascinating.
And you know what?
Let's just point it all right here, right back at SimCast.
Yo, I complain in front of a camera every day and I make a lot of money?
That's always been crazy to me.
I mean, it doesn't mean I wouldn't want to do it or whatever, but it is crazy.
This is what it's like working at Twitter.
I assure you, the majority of staff at Twitter probably do nothing and we've already seen it in Project Veritas' leak where you end up with that guy saying, I work like four hours a week.
That's not wrong.
That's what it is.
While you are lifting bricks and boxes and doing construction and sweating and wiping the sweat from your brow to come home, make 40, 50k a year, they're getting six figures for all that.
That's right.
That's the way the machine works.
I think I'm surprised people... Like I said, if the working class knew this is how things were, it'd be a revolt overnight.
These people don't work.
I wouldn't wish this upon my kids.
You know, future kids.
I wouldn't wish this upon anybody.
To live in such a vapid and ridiculous and disgusting way.
But more importantly, this woman Everything she does, she's the one who is banning you.
I don't mean literally her, I mean it is people like this that are the ones deciding, you're saying mean words, so I'm gonna make it so you can't participate in democracy anymore.
unidentified
Boop!
tim pool
I love how they're like, we have to protect democracy, and then you're like, I'd like to say some words, and they're like, not you, white man!
Yeah.
Okay.
I hope Elon fires them all, but uh, here we go.
Look at this picture!
Elon bros are killing us with free speech!
From IQFY.
And there's a picture of Hitler along with Elon Musk and a noose.
These are the people that are trying to suspend you on Twitter, Elon.
Yo, you, you better fix this.
Otherwise, you know, I gotta be honest, I really don't care about Twitter.
And if Elon doesn't fix it, I would love to see the whole thing just go...
I've been on Twitter since 2009.
And, uh, I used it a little bit before then, you know, just, like, seeing tweets and stuff, but didn't really, and then I signed up, I think, like, my birthday or something in 2009, like, March.
Quote, I want to be cruel, but the mods won't let me, is their best argument for free speech, because it's about something far more sinister.
It's amazing.
These people think everything is cruel except themselves, and they're very cruel.
They're psychotic, they have snowplow parents, and they are, um, permanent children.
Ah, Jeff Jarvis!
How's it going, Jeff?
He says, Today on Twitter feels like the last evening in a Berlin nightclub at the twilight of Weimar, Germany.
Ah, Jeff, you're such a sophist.
I know Jeff Jarvis.
I've had several meetings with him.
He's a journalism professor in New York.
And, uh, I remember I was at VidCon.
I got really mad.
They had a journalism panel, but it was all Democrat activists.
And then I was getting really angry, and I was shaking my head the whole time.
And then Jeff Jarvis was on it, and I was like, you didn't get a single independent or conservative.
You got a bunch of Democrat activists and feigned that they were journalists.
And he's like, well, you know, they don't want to, they refuse to come on.
And I'm like, that's BS.
Ben Shapiro screams debate me all night.
These people are liars.
DuckRespector tweeted, Moment Elon is in, I'm going on a misgendering spree, the scale of which will one day have its own Wikipedia page.
That's an excellent tweet, by the way.
Emery says, when that happens, we need to coordinate all networks so everyone can join in the fun.
You see, these people think they're invincible.
They think their way of life is the only way of life, and that you should not be allowed to have opinions they don't like.
And that is not cruel.
That's being nice.
So if you say something like, I am but a humble plumber who does not take kindly to this woman, who does nothing all day and sips her fancy red wine and I'm breaking my back, they go, that's hate speech!
They ban you.
This is what happens when you let children run the machine.
And that's what happens with the millennial generation and many Gen Zers.
Permanent children.
And you know whose fault it is?
It's Gen X and Millenials.
I'm sorry, it's Gen X and Boomers.
And Millennials too, you know, obviously.
But the Boomers had kids.
And many of the Boomers, not all of them, I'm not blaming every single one of you Boomers, I know.
I'm saying these liberal Boomer types raised a bunch of whiny, entitled brats with participation trophies.
I remember when I was little, they were doing like a trivia thing.
And no matter how many times I raised my hand, teacher wouldn't call on me.
Well, the reason was, that's one of the reasons I hated school.
My mom homeschooled me and my brother when we were very little.
And so we were much more advanced than the rest of the kids.
And that meant we knew the answers to all the questions.
These are rudimentary questions, mind you, like 4 plus 5 or something.
And we knew all the answers.
We are good at math.
And so eventually they said, you don't get to participate.
And that sucked.
I'm like, you know, because I'm better at this than them, I don't get a chance to earn a prize?
So I remember there was some trivia thing, some quiz for little kids.
And I just, teacher would never call on me.
And I didn't know why.
I said, my hand was always up first.
And it was like a parents' night thing or something.
And then afterwards, I started crying.
Because I think I was like 7 years old.
And the teacher came over and just handed me a free prize.
And I didn't want it.
I was like, I didn't want the prize.
I wanted to say the right answer for you.
But you wouldn't let me.
You know what the reality was?
They knew I knew the right answer.
And they want to give other kids a chance to answer, because I always had the right answer.
That's what I really hated about the whole system.
So, hard work and you don't get to engage.
So, you know what I said?
I grew up and I realized that you don't have to rely on them.
You don't have to think about them.
You can just do you and succeed on your own.
Proving to someone else that you knew the answer was a waste of time.
These kids, they've never experienced that.
So they're screaming, they're crying, they're barfing on themselves.
It is apocalyptic for them.
Oh, they're so, they're so sad.
I want to behave like an absolute rat bastard.
So what?
Welcome to the real world.
Have you ever gone outside in New York City?
Maybe you would have seen someone get pushed onto the subway tracks.
Certainly no one is advocating for that.
We're advocating for the right to, like, say words, we think.
But these people are so pathetic, whiny babies, that they cannot handle you disagreeing with them.
unidentified
A free speech is a dog whistle!
tim pool
Free speech activists then turn around and call for the purging from schools of books about sexuality.
No, they're calling for the purging of schools books depicting sexual things.
There's one book that they're trying to get polled literally shows someone, a male, doing things to themselves in an inappropriate way.
And they call that book banning because, well, they're probably pedophiles, to be completely honest.
And they're using it.
So you know what?
This is why the Democrats deserve to lose.
This is why they deserve to have Elon come in.
But, you know, Elon's backtracking now.
We'll see what he actually gets done.
I want to see Alex Jones, Project Veritas... Elon, reinstate Veritas right now!
Here's what you can do, and I hope everybody who listens this far into the video can say this.
Go on Twitter, tweet at Elon Musk, every single person, and say, Reinstate James O'Keefe and Project Veritas, Step 1.
No questions, no waiting, do it.
Intervene personally.
The suspension of Veritas was complete BS, and everyone knows it.
No, we can talk about Trump, we can talk about Jones, we can talk about Carl Benjamin, Milo, Laura Loomer.
I get it.
They made rules, and then said you broke them, and it was nebulous.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I get it.
But Project Veritas is a news organization that did not break any rules.
So, Elon Musk, reinstate James O'Keefe with an apology on behalf of Twitter, and say now that Twitter is under your leadership, things like this will not happen.
Everyone, tweet at Elon and tell him to reinstate Project Veritas.
He should not wait a second.
It should be the first thing he does.
Because he can say it with a word.
He can say it, he can put out an email and say, I don't know who's in charge of it, but unban James O'Keefe and Project Veritas and their employees now.
Do it.
Let's see if you can do it.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment is coming up at 4pm over at youtube.com slash timcast.
