[00:00:01]  Greetings my STEM audience, sensitive young man here, checking in with a glorious announcement.
[00:00:07]  Now I hear you, you say you are a venerable ancient, you are 34,000 years old.
[00:00:13]  How can you say that you're a sensitive young man?
[00:00:16]  Well, it's a state of mind.
[00:00:17]  So there you have it.
[00:00:19]  That's the reason I label myself thus.
[00:00:23]  So anyway, perhaps you've seen already we've had a great release of linen and some other garments on Legio Gloria, Legiogloria.com.
[00:00:32]  So to celebrate this fact, I thought to make this video, elaborate a bit on linen itself and I will give the story of how I came to fall in love with the material with linen.
[00:00:43]  So we need to go back to the year 2019.
[00:00:47]  I started reading up a bit more.
[00:00:49]  I wanted to take my game as a fashion designer to the next level as a business owner of a clothing company.
[00:00:56]  I thought this is time to step up.
[00:00:58]  So I started researching a bit some traditional good European materials to use and I got into linen and yeah started reading up on the history as well and as you all know I'm an enthusiast of history.
[00:01:10]  I like when something has a long and venerable history.
[00:01:13]  Linen definitely has and I designed the first linen shirt then perhaps you remember it.
[00:01:19]  I redesigned it later on to make it a bit more spacious across the chest.
[00:01:22]  So that was the sky blue linen shirt.
[00:01:26]  So that's available in a new cut as well.
[00:01:28]  So anyway that was my first real test as a clothing designer.
[00:01:31]  I remade it into the perfection you see before you at the moment.
[00:01:36]  So anyway I started wearing linen and I fell in love with it.
[00:01:39]  It was something that went beyond the merely physical.
[00:01:43]  So if you touch it, so if you feel linen, it's not necessarily softer than cotton, but something when wearing it it makes you feel great mate.
[00:01:53]  And I can definitely understand that it's been a sacred material for a very long time in Europe and outside of Europe in Egypt as well for example.
[00:02:02]  So there is something I can only explain via spirituality.
[00:02:08]  The esoteric qualities, the metaphysical qualities of linen.
[00:02:12]  I will get back to it.
[00:02:13]  I must study it more, but what I can say now is at least that it feels great to wear.
[00:02:17]  And of course if you wear it in warm weather it also feels quite nice because it lets you breathe.
[00:02:22]  So perfect for summer.
[00:02:24]  Wool in winter, linen in summer.
[00:02:27]  Good stuff, good stuff.
[00:02:28]  So we have some new releases.
[00:02:29]  This fine lichen linen shirt right here, very summery and nice, fits well with the new linen trousers as well, which is I redesigned them a bit.
[00:02:38]  So the previous edition they were a bit shorter, these are a bit longer.
[00:02:43]  I've optimized the cut over the legs as well so they look absolutely clean.
[00:02:47]  You can make you can iron a line on them as well for an extra clean look.
[00:02:52]  And you can of course pair them with any of the linen shirts.
[00:02:56]  So I got a question from rival Horse Lord on X.
[00:02:59]  He asked, what's a good setup for a good look, a good linen look?
[00:03:03]  And it's quite simple, straightforward.
[00:03:05]  Just one of these shirts and a pair of trousers.
[00:03:07]  And then you can have sandals or minorkinas.
[00:03:11]  Got this in Spain by the way a few years back.
[00:03:14]  So to get that nice summary look.
[00:03:16]  So quite simple and straightforward.
[00:03:18]  Then you have a white shirt as well.
[00:03:19]  And this is the picture I labeled just a sensitive young man.
[00:03:23]  I thought it fitted.
[00:03:24]  We have also Persian blue one in long sleeve, very popular colour.
[00:03:28]  The short sleeve is an updated version on a previous edition we had, so a bit more space around the arms because of course Legiugloria enthusiasts they have good guns so to speak.
[00:03:40]  So speaking of which the Legio Gloria garments, including the linen shirts, they are, the cut is made to accommodate for an athletic physique.
[00:03:48]  So not a bodybuilder physique per se, but more of an athletic physique.
[00:03:52]  So that's something to keep in mind.
[00:03:54]  And also, if you are looking to get some shirts and if you're unsure about the sizing, you can go with a size larger.
[00:04:01]  Linen is more comfortable if it's a bit looser.
[00:04:03]  I have extra large in this, I wear extra large in basically all garments.
[00:04:07]  Now, something else to keep in mind when we're talking about linen: that it's expected for linen garments to get to get a bit wrinkly if you wear them throughout the day.
[00:04:15]  But cultured gentlemen and ladies will know this, so it's not a big deal if your garment gets a bit wrinkly if you've worn it for a while.
[00:04:23]  You can just iron them in the morning and then have it on for the day.
[00:04:27]  And yeah, it's a nice summary casual look.
[00:04:29]  Now, also, we have a restock of our beloved classic, the navy blue fleur-de-lis.
