The Golden One - Marcus Follin - A Look at My Testosterone: 2022 (Compared to 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020). Aired: 2022-08-27 Duration: 05:13 === Testosterone Triumphs? (05:10) === [00:00:02] Absolutely massive, if I may be so bold. [00:00:06] Greetings my esteemed Laddingtons. [00:00:09] Today we'll have a look at my testosterone levels. [00:00:12] So the first time I made one of these videos was back in 2015, at the very peak of my physical power. [00:00:20] Perhaps you were subscribed back then and you remember the force of nature, the absolute magnificent monstrosity. [00:00:29] If you weren't subscribed, you can simply go back. [00:00:32] You can look at the Eternal Glory playlist and you can look at my training videos from that time. [00:00:38] Now back then, I actually had 18.3 as a testosterone score. [00:00:45] Then, as we can see before us right now, I also did a test in 2017 and there I got 21 in score. [00:00:56] And then I did it in 2019. [00:00:58] I got 21 again. [00:01:00] Then in 2020, I got 23. [00:01:05] And then this year, a few days ago, I got 20. [00:01:10] Now, I will say that every other value, every other value this year was better than in 2020, including SHBG. [00:01:19] Now, I won't go into detail about that test, but I wanted to show the testosterone and I wanted to explain why every other test was better this year than two years ago, except for testosterone. [00:01:32] So everything was better in 2020 than in 2017 and 2019. [00:01:40] I credit my wife, I credit her good cooking, she takes great care of me, so I credit her with my overall better health. [00:01:48] So then the question remains, why was everything better except for the sacred testosterone? [00:01:54] Why was it a bit lower this year than two years ago? [00:01:57] And I will admit, it's simply because I haven't trained as hard as I did two years ago. [00:02:03] And in particular, may the spirit of John Paul Sigmarson, may he forgive me, may his spirit forgive me, but I haven't done so many deadlifts this summer. [00:02:16] thousand and five pounds to be alive if you can't do that ever the showman he He really is incredible. [00:03:08] So that is the reason I would say that I simply I haven't trained as hard as I did two years ago. [00:03:16] And this is also why I haven't made a training video this year yet. [00:03:20] I will make one. [00:03:21] I will see if it is more tie boxing or if it's more powerlifting. [00:03:25] I will see, but that can explain it at least. [00:03:27] So to recap, the testosterone was better then, everything else was better now, but looking at everything, I can only surmise that it has to do with not training as hard. [00:03:40] I haven't trained as hard for, I haven't trained as hard this year because of a few different reasons. [00:03:46] I will get into it again soon and therefore I can expect my testosterone to increase. [00:03:52] So that being said, I have now at 33 years of age I have a higher testosterone than I did at 25. [00:04:00] So that feels good and it also feels good that I can pinpoint the exact reason for that slight drop in testosterone. [00:04:07] Now again something that is interesting to point out. [00:04:10] I said that the very peak of my physical splendor was perhaps in 2015. [00:04:17] I have higher testosterone now. [00:04:20] despite not training as hard, despite not being quite as muscular and despite not being quite as strong. [00:04:26] Now of course I can, if I want to, I can go back to that level of strength and muscularity. [00:04:33] I just need to focus completely on the gym. [00:04:35] But now of course over the last 5-6 years it's been a bit different because I have trained more MMA and stuff like that so the focus on the gym hasn't been as pure as it was back in 2014, 15, 16. [00:04:49] But yeah, I hope this was insightful. [00:04:52] I hope this inspires you to do deadlifts. [00:04:55] I think that is the main main thing that will increase my testosterone again. [00:05:01] So good times, good times. [00:05:02] I will actually go and do some deadlifts right now and I will have a training motivation video of some sort incoming at least. [00:05:10] So anyway, thank you for watching. [00:05:11] Thank you for your continued support.
