The Golden One - Marcus Follin - I Was Angry And Frustrated With Myself Aired: 2022-01-29 Duration: 05:26 === The Power of Habits (05:07) === [00:00:19] Greetings Laddingtons. [00:00:21] I have clickbaited you. [00:00:22] How does this make you feel? [00:00:24] Comment below. [00:00:25] On my part, it feels absolutely great, mate. [00:00:29] Now, okay, I haven't really clickbaited you because it's accurate enough what I wrote in the title. [00:00:34] And I do it. [00:00:35] I only ever clickbait you to share important teachings. [00:00:38] And this is perhaps the most important teaching I can share. [00:00:43] So why am I frustrated? [00:00:45] Or why was I frustrated? [00:00:47] I'm not frustrated anymore because I've dealt with the issue at hand. [00:00:51] So basically, I said to myself for this fine year, it's a good year, I can feel it. [00:00:58] I said to myself that I need to optimize my German. [00:01:01] Now, I actually read German in school because you got to choose between German, French, Spanish, usually. [00:01:08] Then of course English was mandatory. [00:01:12] So anyway, I'm no stranger to German at all. [00:01:15] I've spent quite a bit of time in Germany as well. [00:01:18] I have, you know, for the last one and a half years I've responded to emails in German, but I wasn't confident enough in it. [00:01:26] And I also need to optimize it so I can communicate with the spirit of Wolfgang von Eichenbach. [00:01:32] More on that in another video or podcast episode. [00:01:36] Then also, Germany is the heart of Europe. [00:01:40] It's the main nation of Europe, despite everything. [00:01:43] And there are so many cultural treasures in terms of music and literature. [00:01:51] And for me, this is a way to get closer to that. [00:01:54] A bit closer at least. [00:01:56] Then of course, if I want to stay updated on the political situation in Germany, it's easier to read in German. [00:02:03] So that's my purpose for deciding upon this. [00:02:07] And again, I'm no stranger to German, so this is not me just learning a new language. [00:02:12] This is just me getting more comfortable in a language I have some experience in. [00:02:18] So anyway, on to the main thing, the main topic at hand here, and that is habits, because you can apply this teaching to anything. [00:02:26] And if you are a true disciple of mine, if I may be so bold as to refer to my dear supporters as disciples, feels great if I can do that. [00:02:36] Anyway, do implement this teaching. [00:02:39] I promise you, you will not regret it. [00:02:41] You will thank me later when you have gotten into the mindset. [00:02:45] So habits. [00:02:46] It's all about habits. [00:02:47] I've said it before, I'll say it many times. [00:02:50] Again, such an important thing. [00:02:52] Habits. [00:02:53] So I said to myself, what to do? [00:02:56] Yes. [00:02:57] Habit number one. [00:02:58] Boom. [00:02:59] I use my magical artifact here. [00:03:02] It's a notebook. [00:03:03] Does wonders for the productivity. [00:03:05] I write down 20 minutes five days a week or 30 minutes or whatever. [00:03:13] A routine, a habit of doing, of training German every day, every other day, whatever it is, as long as you make it consistent and as long as you have a plan, as long as you make a habit out of it. [00:03:25] So I got bubble. [00:03:27] I'm not affiliated. [00:03:28] I just picked one and yeah, it's a good product I can recommend. [00:03:32] So I do that five times a week, roughly 20 to 30 minutes each time. [00:03:37] That is my routine and it feels good. [00:03:40] Routine habit number one. [00:03:42] Habit number two. [00:03:43] I started following a few German-speaking Telegram channels. [00:03:47] So I have my routine, of course. [00:03:48] I follow a few different Telegram channels, which you all know, since I share stuff every once in a while. [00:03:54] Then I just added to my habit. [00:03:56] I have a habit of going through the Telegram channels that I find interesting. [00:04:01] Then I added in some German-speaking ones, so I constantly bombard my mind with the German language. [00:04:08] That's the way to learn, by the way. [00:04:10] So if you want to learn anything, just bombard your mind and eventually it will sink in and you will learn. [00:04:16] So that is habit number two. [00:04:18] So anyway, that was my teaching for the day. [00:04:21] And for you, if you are tired of being fat, perhaps, yes, implement a routine which enables you to lose weight. [00:04:31] And this is also something, a completely different topic that I might make a video on. [00:04:35] If we're talking about diets, etc. [00:04:37] Get that out of your mind. [00:04:39] Only think in terms of habits. [00:04:41] What are the habits I can stick with for a long period of time? [00:04:45] If you want to feel a bit more secure, perhaps in a rough environment, yeah, implement the habit of training MMA every day. [00:04:55] Or whatever it might be. [00:04:57] I'm just giving some options so that you can implement the template I've given you here. [00:05:02] Implement habits into your life. [00:05:05] So anyway, I'm sure you get the point. [00:05:07] I just wanted to say that. [00:05:09] So to conclude, habits, habits, habits. [00:05:13] Good stuff, good stuff. [00:05:15] No, thank you for watching. [00:05:16] And if you haven't done so, do yourself a favor, read Dauntless and implement all habits that are described therein. [00:05:23] Link in the description box below. [00:05:25] Now, thanks for watching.
