[00:00:39]  I'm checking in to wish you all a good Yule, happy Yule and Merry Christmas.
[00:00:44]  I don't have any profound insight to share in this fine video.
[00:00:48]  I mainly just wanted to show you this absolute beast.
[00:00:52]  Look at the size of this Marspan pig.
[00:00:59]  There is a sacred Christmas tradition, which is that I receive a Marspan pig.
[00:01:04]  This is actually a bit different than the one I usually get, because this is a lot bigger.
[00:01:10]  I had a tradition dating back to 2013, where I posted each Christmas a picture of the Yule pig of prosperity.
[00:01:20]  Now, of course, my old Instagram account got taken away, so that part of internet history is gone.
[00:01:26]  But I will not lament that fact.
[00:01:27]  It is what it is.
[00:01:29]  Now, anyway, I will post this to social media.

[00:02:22]  Then, a few days ago, I posted a book review of Icelandic Magic, which is a short but sweet.
[00:02:31]  I really liked reading it.
[00:02:32]  It's a really good book, interesting.
[00:02:34]  Again, if you want to know more about it, read my book review on it.
[00:02:38]  And now, I am actually in the process of reading through Introduction to Magic.
[00:02:46]  So, I've almost finished the first one, and I'm about to start the second one.
[00:02:51]  I will most likely make a podcast episode about these books, because there is a lot of esoteric juiciness in it.
[00:02:58]  And of course, I do want to share it with you, my esteemed audience.
[00:03:02]  And if you aren't subscribed to the podcast, I highly suggest that you do subscribe because I am, yeah, I put a lot of effort into those episodes, and it's a bit, it's not a bit, it's a lot easier to make to share insights via a podcast than video.
[00:03:23]  But that's a topic for another time.
[00:03:25]  I just wanted to mention that.
[00:03:27]  Now, speaking of books, I would like to share my joy, pride, and excitement, because my beloved wife, she has written a cookbook.
[00:03:37]  This is the first sneak peek of it.
[00:03:39]  I am excruciatingly happy with the finished result.
[00:03:43]  I'm not only saying this because it's my wife, I say it because it is true.
[00:03:46]  You will see for yourself.
[00:03:47]  It will be out early next year, and then I will talk some more about it.
[00:03:51]  But yeah, extremely happy with that.
[00:03:55]  Then, as you might have seen, I posted on social media the greatest films of all time.
[00:04:02]  We will aim to watch this later today.
[00:04:05]  It's a true work of art, the Fellowship of the Ring, and of course the second and third films as well.
[00:04:11]  And again, as I mentioned in the post, I did read all three books just after I saw the first film at a cinema back in the day.
[00:04:21]  I might reread them at some stage.
[00:04:23]  I read Children of Hurin last year, which is a beautiful, a beautifully tragic book.
[00:04:30]  I can definitely recommend it if you are a Tolkien fan, which I am.
[00:04:35]  And yes, I will get around to read the Cimmerillion.
[00:04:38]  I know many of you have recommended it.
[00:04:41]  But my to read list is quite extensive as it is.
[00:04:46]  No, anyway, long story short, I mainly just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
