[00:00:01]  Hello, Laddingtons.
[00:00:02]  I'm checking in from Paradise.
[00:00:04]  As you can see, I'm checking in with a quick update.
[00:00:07]  I wanted to tell you all that I was wrong in a certain matter.
[00:00:11]  So, I'll get straight to the point.
[00:00:14]  Almost two years ago now, I decided to cut my hair and I did it to sort of transform myself into being more of a role model.
[00:00:24]  But then, after a lot of meditations, contemplation, I decided that that wasn't really my role to have.
[00:00:35]  My role is a bit different.
[00:00:37]  And of course, I don't regret cutting my hair.
[00:00:41]  I mean, it's grown out nicely now, and it made me gain some additional perspectives upon my role in the grand scheme of things.
[00:00:52]  So, what I realized was that I was a bit arrogant, and in my hubris, I thought I had reached all of the people I could reach because I knew then that I was shadow banned on YouTube, etc.
[00:01:06]  So, I thought I have with my unique appearance, I have reached everyone I can reach, so therefore, I will transform myself into something that perhaps I'm not really as good at being that type of role model.
[00:01:20]  Machiavelli talks about lions and foxes.
[00:01:24]  I was never really good at being a fox, so I might as well be a lion, a complete lion instead, and focus on doing what I do.
[00:01:32]  And on a personal level, if we're talking about gaining attention, etc., I have gained enough attention to last me more than enough attention to last me a lifetime.
[00:01:43]  So, it's not about my personal wishes, it's just what I can do, how I can contribute the most to a cause that is larger and more important than myself.
[00:01:55]  So, if I say that I have a unique aesthetic with my hair to gain more attention, it's to spread a good message.
[00:02:03]  And what I mean with in my arrogance and hubris that I cut my hair again, I thought I had reached the people I could reach, but I've learned something now as of late as well.
[00:02:15]  That with the decline of places like YouTube, Twitter, I got my Instagram and Facebook removed.
[00:02:23]  You go to different places, different platforms where you can recruit a new audience, so to speak.
[00:02:30]  And in doing so, it's better for me to have my unique look.
[00:02:34]  Now, second part about being a role model: I do, of course, try my hardest to be a good role model, but it's not necessarily true in many cases.
[00:02:44]  And in many cases, I also wouldn't encourage younger guys to necessarily take my path.
[00:02:52]  And then it's more reasonable for me to be a champion or a standard bearer of sorts for a certain idea for a certain cause, than to be someone to emulate, than to be a strict role model in that sense.
[00:03:09]  So, everyone has a different purpose.
[00:03:12]  My purpose is to be again a bit more true to myself, and in having my hair, I am a bit more true to myself instead of trying to be something I'm not as good at, which is then being you know, perhaps the more clean-cut, represent presentable role model.
[00:03:34]  You know, we have other guys who can do that, who can do it a lot better than I can, so I might as well focus on what I can do.
[00:03:42]  Now, to the last point, I will talk about archetypes in a coming podcast episode.
[00:03:47]  What I can say now is that I have, of course, an artist within me, and I use I create art with my own appearance.
[00:03:55]  And now, of course, I've been sun maxing, I've been hitting the gym quite hard.
[00:03:59]  I'm in a good shape and when I'm creating this heroic art as I mentioned in my Sun and Still book review, it looks better with the long hair.
[00:04:10]  I can create better art with the long hair and it of course goes into you know presenting myself as a standard bearer or a champion of certain ideals.
[00:04:23]  So long story short I don't encourage anyone to have long hair.
[00:04:29]  I have it myself because that is my unique role.
[00:04:32]  I do certain things because it's up to me to do it.
[00:04:35]  It doesn't mean that you should do it.
[00:04:38]  You have your own role, you have your own destiny to fulfill.

[00:04:44]  And in most cases you should always of course listen to what I have to say but you should not necessarily, unless you want to of course you can do whatever you want with your own hair but I am still recommending for all men to have a nice tidy clean haircut.
[00:05:03]  So anyway that was the update now you know why I have decided to save out my hair again.
