[00:00:52] Feels great, mate. [00:00:54] So I thought to make a quick video talking a bit about the sacred sun, how to properly worship the sun. [00:01:25] Either way, let's get into the topic at hand. [00:01:27] First and foremost, sunscreen. [00:01:30] Yes or no, I would say no, especially since there has come out a well, maybe even several reports saying that they can provoke cancer. [00:01:40] I'm not going to bore you with the details, but you can look it up yourself. [00:01:44] I would caution against sunscreen. [00:01:46] Many nefarious components in those products usually. [00:01:51] So make your research, be cautious when it comes to using sunscreen. [00:01:55] Unless of course you are perhaps a ginger, you can't stand the sun too much, you need some sort of sunscreen. [00:02:01] But make your research so you don't put on some cancer-inducing substances on your body. [00:02:09] So what I would recommend instead is to simply use coconut oil that will shield your skin, especially in the beginning of summer. [00:02:18] Also moisturizes the skin quite well, coconut oil. [00:02:21] So you can experiment a bit with that. [00:02:23] I've done it this particular summer. [00:02:25] Didn't get red at all. [00:02:26] You say nice smooth tan directly. [00:02:30] Also, in the beginning of summer, of course, don't go out too hard. [00:02:34] I know a lot of northern Europeans they do this mistake in the beginning of summer. [00:02:40] They want to sun max. [00:02:40] Of course, I want to do it as well, but you can gradually build up your tan so you don't get burned. [00:02:45] Getting burnt is that is the dangerous part. [00:02:48] Sun itself is not the dangerous part. [00:02:49] But if you get burnt, yeah, it's not great at all. [00:02:53] It's quite bad. [00:02:54] So you can gradually build up your tan until you can take more sun. [00:03:00] Then, as I've posted about on various social media, what I've done as well this year is I've collagen maxed. [00:03:07] So taking collagen, because when you sun max, your body's stores of collagen will get depleted. [00:03:15] Same thing if you train hard or get a lot of stress. [00:03:17] So collagen needed for your skin health, your ligaments, etc. [00:03:22] So yeah, nice skin and a healthy body. [00:03:25] You can collagen max. [00:03:27] And you can of course take it as a supplement, which I do myself. [00:03:30] Or you can get it via bone broth. [00:03:32] So you can make a chicken soup for example. [00:03:34] You can have some nice veggies in there and you can add the bone broth. [00:03:38] You can also make it yourself by boiling animal bones. [00:03:43] I might make a gain's kitchen on it later on. [00:03:45] Probably will be in the autumn though because I don't really want to eat soups in this hot weather. [00:03:51] Better to eat salads in the summer. [00:03:53] It fits better. [00:03:54] But either way, get in your collagen. [00:03:57] I mix mine with amino acids because the pure collagen isn't particularly tasty to put it mildly. [00:04:06] Then of course a last note on sun maxing, why you should do it. [00:04:09] We can talk about the disastrous levels of vitamin D in the modern man and woman. [00:04:16] Not good at all, you need to optimize your levels of vitamin D, otherwise you are in a world of health problems. [00:04:24] Again, I'm not going to bore you with the details. [00:04:26] I might make an in-depth video of the importance of vitamin D. Maybe in the autumn, now you will get hopefully enough vitamin D anyway.
